Pokemon: The Journey of Manji

Brad is a trainer traveling through the original region of Manji. His goal is to become the champion and catch them all. This is a Pokemon story with an original region and original characters.

5. Bonham

Cycling Road

Now it was a crisp new day. Brad had finally got four badges, and it was time to head on to Bonham town. Now when it was Brad's birthday, he got something from his mother that he had not gotten to use yet. It was the foldable bike it was somewhere at the bottom of his bag. Now Kimber was coming along to the Cycling Road between Lomaxford and Bonham. Brad said "Uh hey you are Kimber from the tournament. You fought with your uh Flareon. You did really good, but my friend Hayden beat you. Do you want to hear a random story about that Marowak." It was clear that she did not really think very much of Brad. Brad hen said "Would you like to ride with me to Bonham?" Kimber said "Sure! I have not got anyone else to ride with." So then they were off to Bonham on Cycling Road. The bridge that led over the pasture at the bottom was a clear floor, and many trainers were all along the road. The trainers were often battling and it was hard to avoid the moves sometimes.

Now Brad started telling Kimber the story of when Michael and him saved Hayden. Now she thought that it was almost untrue that Brad anyone would going running with the Tauros. "I mean who could really be that stupid." That hurts Brad's felling's a little bit, but it was clear that she thought the ending of the story was much better. Then they both talked about how they had fought in the battle of Lomaxford. It was clear that she was a talented trainer and even more talented in battle.

Now two very large people with bald heads were making trouble on the Cycling Road. Brad asked Kimber if she wanted to do anything about it. The answer was yes!. Kimber then used Flareon, and Brad used Snorlax. The two-biker seemed to not like that pair had called out their Pokémon. Then the bikers used Gloom and Machoke. The Gloom tried to use sleep powder on Brad and Kimber because the biker were trying to steal the pairs Pokémon. That is when Kimber opened up a flamethrower attack with Flareon on Gloom. Machoke and Snorlax linked arms, and Snorlax fell on the Pokémon. This made Machoke take some damage but Machoke ended up bench pressing Snorlax off of it. That is when Snorlax used yawn on Machoke that made him fall asleep. This was met with expletives from the biker. Gloom was knocked out by the flamethrower. Gloom was replaced with a Parasect. Which did not fare any better against Flareon. While Machoke was asleep it took multiple body slam attacks from Snorlax. Machoke was returned to its Pokeball. With three of their Pokémon down the bikers decided to use their special getaway. They both used a Weezing the first thing that the Weezing did was to use smokescreen. Flareon still hit one with flamethrower. Now Brad used body slam with Snorlax, and with the great are that Snorlax covered it took down both of the Pokémon. After that the cops showed up and arrested the two bikers because they had been trying to steal Pokémon from their trainers.

Now Brad saw the power of Flareon and said "Would you want a trade a bred Eevee for a bred Pikachu? We could send them both to Professor Cypress, and we both get one of the Pokémon." Kimber sad "Sure I will send my Flareon to Professor Cypress, and I would love having a Pikachu!" They sent them and traded them. Now Brad had an Eevee, and Kimber had a Pikachu. When all of that was done brad and Kimber made it to Bonham and split up at the Trainer Club.

Arthur the Dragon

Brad made his way to the gym in Bonham. He wanted to fight the gym with his Clefable because the fairy typing would destroy the dragon type master. Now when Brad got to the gym he was met with a man in his fifties in a yellow suit. "My name is Arthur. I am the dragon type gym leader. Now my gym gives a unique experience if the trainer wants to become a dragon type master. We give the trainer a Dratini, and they raise the Dratini to evolve into Dragonair, and then Dragonite. When that happens, they come back and face me in one final showdown. If they win, then they get the honor of becoming a dragon type master. Seeing as there is only one Dragon type Pokémon family in Manji it seems that would be pretty good opportunity for trainers. If you want we can just battle and then you can earn the Legend badge." Brad replied "That I think that I want to trainer the Dratini. When else am I going to get the opportunity to get a free Dratini straight from the dragon type masters. Who would let this great opportunity pass? You just let me have the Pokémon for free of course." Arthur laughed "It is not even a rental! You get to keep the Dragonite that you train. It is not easy though many people just steam line through and go to the next city and the next gym. So Brad you want to train the Dratini go to the elder of the dragon clan and ask for the Dratini. You will talk about Pokémon and how best to raise the Dratini good luck. I look forward to fighting Dragonite.

Now Brad made it to the elder's house and rang the bell. The kindly woman answered the door and asked Brad what he was doing there. Brad said that he wanted to raise a Dratini for the gym challenge. The two sat down for tea in the house of the elder. "We have not had a challenger decide to go the way of the dragon in about five or ten years. Why do you want to go and send time raising Dratini?" Brad pondered the thought and said "I want to finish the Pokédex. I figured that would help me get three more Pokémon on my Pokédex. I also thought that raising the Pokémon would be more fun, and the Elite Four is not going anywhere. I can spend the time doing this for a power hitter like Dragonite. Anything that I do not have to work for is not worth having. I want to go the hard route to make me better as a person." The elder replied "You want to build your character while training for the Elite Four and completing your Pokédex. Well, all of those are good reasons. Now Brad you are going to need wisdom to be able to raise the Dratini. You are going to need patience to raise Dratini. Do you think that you will be able to be patient, and wise for this challenge?" Brad responded, "I do." What do you think that Pokémon are to you?" The elder questioned. Brad responded, "Pokémon are partners, and friends to be studied and taken care of." The elder "What do Pokémon need to be raised to be the best possible Pokémon that they could be?" Brad responds, "A Pokémon needs love, a heathy diet, and exercise to be the best that they can be." The elder said "Strong Pokémon and weak Pokémon which Pokémon is better?" brad returned with "Both are good. Strong Pokémon can fight and protect things like all of the dragon statues that you have here in Bonham. Weak Pokémon can help and be studied for the better use of Pokémon with humans. By use I mean a better life of Pokémon and humans." The elder said "A very good answer. Now Brad here is your Dratini." It was in a basket and the Pokeball was over the top of it. Brad returned Dratini to the Pokeball and set off to raise Dratini.

The River

Brad headed down to the river with just Dratini. It seemed to Brad that he was just going to start a new miniature adventure with just a Dratini. It was his goal to defeat the Bonham gym as fast as he could but also with the right amount of time. That is why he was solely training his Dratini on this day. Brad had bought about twenty more Pokeballs to catch more Pokémon while at this new area.

On the road to the river, it was a Tangela that had a tangle that looked like. Beak. That is when Brad called upon Dratini to fight the oddly shaped Tangela. The face of the Tangela was made like a beak of a Pidgey. The first move was Dratini that used Dragon rage. Then The Tangela started to whip at Dratini. Now Brad could only hope to do forty damage towards the Tangela because that is what Dragon rage does. Now Brad used Dragon Rage again that took another forty points. That is when the vines kept to miss Dratini. Now Dratini hit the strange Tangela with another Dragon Rage to defeat the odd shaped Pokémon and Brad caught a Tangela. It would be rearranged into a normal Tangela.

Now a bizarre thing happened while brad was still headed towards the lake. A man with weird looking eyes passed Brad. Brad was not a racist person but he followed the man because something did not seem right. That is when the man changed into Slowpoke with weird eyes. Brad attacked the Slowpoke with Dragon Rage. Dragon Rage hit twice before the Slowpoke could muster a water gun. Then Dratini hit it for another Dragon rage which made it transform into a Ditto. A girl ran up to the Ditto. "Oh Ditto you are always getting in trouble. You were supposed to win me the love of that boy over there."

Now Brad had just made it to the river when a Aerodactyl went wild. Now the Aerodactyl had taken a little kid that was playing by the river. The Aerodactyl breathed fire at Dratini with a flamethrower attack. Then Aerodactyl used earthquake attack to throw Brad off its trail. When Brad decided that he was going to defeat Aerodactyl. Now this battle was pretty simple Dratini used bind to get it to stop its madness. Then Dratini used Dragon Rage until the Aerodactyl was defeated.

Now when Brad was near the river, he saw a Dewgong. Which seemed like something that Brad should stray far away from because he only had a dragon type. That is when Brad saw that the Dewgong was being mean to the people trying to enjoy their day at the river. It was being very rude to the little children in the family. It kept getting them to come close and then splashing them with water or stealing little portions of food from them. Now Brad was not going to just let that happen so Brad got close and got in between the kids and the Dewgong. Then Dratini kept firing Dragon Rage but it was clear that it was not going to hit because Dewgong dodged ever single attack. Then Brad saw three Seel and decided to teach the Dewgong a lesson. Brad got Dratini to fire a Dragon rage at the three Seel. The three were knocked out and captured. Now The Dewgong went to save its babies. Now Dratini got Dewgong with a bind attack as soon as it tried to help its babies. Also getting hit by Dragon Rage a number of times before bind let up, and defeating Dewgong. Dewgong was also caught so that it could spend time with its babies at Professor Cypress's lab.

Now Brad saw a Pokémon that seemed more impervious to attacks. Its defense was considerably high and its attacks were even higher. It was a quick Jolteon that attacked Brad because it was trying to fight all that were nearby. Now Brad used Dratini because the attacks were not landing Brad used Dragon rage because that move was not affected by defense. It was when Dratini was hit with a crack of a thunderbolt attack. Now Dratini was hurt but not that bad the Dratini tail glowed a green tint. That hit Jolteon with a dragon tail that knocked down the Jolteon. The Jolteon attacked with quick attack, and then a double kick attack. It countered with a Dragon tail to the body of Jolteon. The Jolteon landed on its feet and then jumped for a bite attack, but was meet with a dragon rage attack to defeat the Jolteon.

Then Brad saw a trainer that was using a Dodrio to battle. Then Brad said that he wanted to battle the Dodrio with his Dratini. The three heads of the Dodrio started to attacking the Dratini. The Dratini started to weave in and out of the heads. Now the head on the outside dove to peck Dratini but Dratini hit him with a Dragon tail. When that happened the other two heads hit Dratini. Then Dratini hit another neck of the Dodrio. Dratini got hit by the other two heads. Now the trainer said that was the trick to the Dodrio. When you focus on one head the other two get to attack. Brad came up with an idea. Brad attacked the left most neck with Dragon tail then Dragon rage. Dratini still go hit by the other two, but the attacked head did not look so good. Then Brad hit the right most head with the same move. When the last head attacked Dratini beat it to the draw and smacked it on the head to defeat the Dodrio.

After a rest Brad started to go back to the adventure at hand. Then Brad saw huge Rapidash that was setting a camp on fire because of the scientist. Now Brad sent out his only Pokémon Dratini to fight the Rapidash that was bigger than a Rhydon. That is when Brad got Dratini to use its Dragon Rage attack like always to defeat the massive Rapidash. Then the grand Rapidash started to attack the Dratini with a fire blitz attack, but Dratini dodged the massive Rapidash that started a forest fire. Which the water Pokémon of the scientist started to take out. So the Dratini used Dragon Tail on the Rapidash. The Dragon Rage again and again until the Rapidash fell over by the river between the two towns. That is when Brad caught the huge Rapidash and when he saw the three Ponyta below. He took them out of Dragon Tail and caught the three Ponyta as well. They were all sent to the Professor's Ranch.

Now in the unfortunate days of camping that Brad has had was continued with a wild Primeape. That attacked its camp mainly because it was making it mad. No real reason for being mad just what this Primeape was like. Dratini got the first hit with a Dragon tail. Then The Primeape grabbed the tail and then threw Dratini for a seismic toss. While on the ground Primeape kicked Dratini with a low kick attack. Dratini wiggled around and hit Primeape with a Dragon Rage. The Primeape jumped through the Dragon Rage, and missed a cross chop on Dratini. Which let it land another Dragon Rage attack. Which threw it back to the ground, and Dratini hit it with dragon tail attack to knock out the boorish ape.

The next thing that happened is that Brad ran across a farm while on the river. The farm was the dirtiest thing that you could ever see. It had not cleaned out the Tauros pin in along time. That is when the farmer came to see the commotion outside. The farmer said "I need some help with the farm. Would you be able to help me out with this legendary task? If you can help me with this task I will teach your Dratini a cool move." Brad said "I guess I can help you I am just trying to get this Dratini to evolve into Dragonite." Now the farmer brought out three technical machines for Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunder Bolt. All three of the beam moves were taught to Dratini, and the only move left was Dragon Rage with the three moves. So Brad started to help the farmer with the Tauros. Now usually the farmer would get a his water Pokémon to use water gun into the river. What Brad did was hoist the manure into one big pile. Which gave him a great reek, bit the smell of what happened after was much worse. Brad lit all the manure on fire to make it not go in to the river. A Poliwag was so happy that the river did not get flooded with manure that it put out the fire after all the manure got through burning. The farmer was very thankful for the help with all of the work and allowed Brad to shower in his house. Now that Brad had helped the farmer Dratini had grown greatly.

It was when Brad got done with the shower, and Dratini done resting that Brad saw a flock of Fearow started to attack the farm. The flock all flew together in a pack that all took shots at Dratini. Brad then used thunderbolt on one of the Fearow that was the leader. That was when the Fearow used drill peck to mitigate the damage of thunderbolt. Dratini shot Ice Beam at the wing of one of the weaker Fearow freezing it completely. The other two started to beck at the icicle that Brad had just made their friends and that was when Brad destroyed the other two with a ice beam attack. That made the three of them one giant icicle statue. Then it defrosted the three with a flamethrower that knocked out the three Fearow. The farmer said "It is like you are one of the heroes of the legends. Helping me clean up the farm from that detrimental load of manure. Defeating the Fearow so that they will not hurt my Tauros. Thank you!"

Now Brad had left the farm, and no time later he was challenged to a fight by Kimber the beautiful girl that he rode to Bonham on. Brad said that he was training a Dratini, and would like to battle. She agreed and said she would give him a gift if he could beat her. The first Pokémon that Kimber used was a Rhydon. Brad then used Dratini that he always has been using because it was his only Pokémon. That is when Brad got Dratini to use Ice Beam at Rhydon foot. Which significantly slowed it down. That is when Rhydon charged Dratini. The Rhydon was trying to use horn drill attack but Dratini started to move with the drill and used Dragon Rage on the face of Rhydon. Then Rhydon charged Dratini with another Bulldoze attack. That is when Brad flew over the head of Rhydon. Then Dratini launched a Ice Beam attack at Rhydon. Again the Ice beam slowed down the Rhydon. The Rhydon was barely walking at this point and Brad then tried to get Dratini to do a final blow. Then Dratini used flamethrower on Kimber's Rhydon which made it charge so much faster. When Rhydon charged after the Dratini it rammed a tree and was knocked out.

Then Brad healed the Dratini, and they proceed to do another round of battle. "One more battle, and if you win this one you will win my prize." Now Kimber used her Persian that was the size of the horse. The Persian sprinted towards Dratini, and that landed him a dragon rage. The Persian slashed at Dratini. Then the Dratini breathed fire back with a vicious flamethrower attack. Then Persian hit Dratini with it Pay day attack that caused the greed of Dratini to smack it back to Brad. That let Persian attack Dratini with multiple slash attacks. That is when Dratini started to use Dragon Pulse on Persian. That made Persian fall down. Then Dratini used Dragon Pulse on the ground that caused a trench that Persian fell into. That is when flamethrower that engulfed the trench. Which knocked out the Persian and defeating Kimber in battle.

Kimber said "Here this is called a dragon fang it allows dragon moves to become more effective. Use it wisely. It should really help that Dratini to grow into a might Dragonite. "I have been battling with all of my friends. It is this all girls group that help each other grow their Pokémon and to come together to have fun. We do not let men in because romantic relationships might make it hard for us to focus on battling. Not saying that we stop people just they are not in our group. You have beaten me in battle but next time I am going to win because my group is getting me stronger." Brad replied "I will take that as a challenge I will keep practicing and will fight to remain the best. Thanks for the Dragon fang"

Once Kimber left Brad saw a Poliwag the one that helped with the fire, and he wanted to capture him. When Brad got close a Poliwrath attacked Brad. That was when Dratini went through the legs of the Poliwrath and shocked it with thunderbolt. The giant turned its body to face the attacker which landed another thunderbolt on the Poliwrath. Dratini dodged punch after punch, and then the Poliwrath fainted with another thunderbolt. Dratini also took the Poliwag out with a thunderbolt and Brad caught Poliwag.

It was the middle of the night Brad was camping out under the stars. Brad heard a song. It was beautiful son that made Brad want to live, dance, and love. Brad thought of Kimber because of the song. It made him want to battle for the love of her hand. So Brad packed up the sleeping bag from the trainer club and went to the sound of the music. That is when he fell asleep, and dreamed of himself and Kimber on the porch with a few kids. He dreamed of holding the position of Pokémon master and the big belt that came with that. He imagined owning all Pokémon that belonged everywhere. Where did all of this come from? How did we get there? Then he realized it was just dream. That is when he woke up, and Dratini started to fight with flamethrower. That is when Jynx tried to attack Dratini with ice punch but Dratini was evading every hit, and used flamethrower again to knock out Jynx. Brad promptly caught the Jynx and sent it to the Pokémon Ranch. That was when a green Oddish popped up and was promptly caught by using flamethrower and a Pokeball.

Then Brad went into a cave that went very underground. That is when brad saw what he feared the most in the world. It was Ninetales that was sitting upon an altar. This must have been ancient temple that Brad confused for a cave. The Ninetales ran up, and used a fire spin attack on Dratini which forced to stay, and made it unable to leave. Then Dratini used flamethrower to get rid of the fire spin put it ended up powering up Ninetales. That started to burn Dratini and it hurt Dratini. That is when Dratini shed its skin to stop the burn from hurting. Then Dratini used Dragon pulse that made it even more powerful. Brad was shaking with the fear of the Ninetales. That is when Dratini started to glow and evolved into Dragonair. It was a Herculean task to get the Dratini to evolve. That is when Dragonair used dragon pulse on Ninetales that made the Ninetales faint, and Brad had finally overcome his fear of Ninetales to win the battle with Ninetales to evolve his Dragonair.

That is when Brad went back to Bonham to the gym. Brad was talking to Arthur. He told Arthur about all the Pokémon that were attacking him, and how he got Dratini to evolve. That was when Arthur noticed "that is exactly what happened to a man of legend. The man's name was Hercules. He was from Manji, and he was sent on the Dragon type mission, and he fought all of the same Pokémon. You are now the hero of Legend. Also I am proud of you for facing the challenge of evolving your Dratini, but now you must evolve your Dragonair to Dragonite."

The Trails of the Dragon

The next day Arthur came to the Trainer Club to find Brad. Arthur said "I told the elder about your little trials down to the a Pokémon you fought against Kimber and her all girl group. With the defeating of the trials you can go on the river trials. This is where you take a boat down the river near the town and you defeat the trails. This ritual has not been performed since the days of the ancient hero Hercules of Manji. So you can do the ritual, and that will give your Dragonair the strength that it needs to evolve to Dragonite. So you want to do the trials?" Brad responded, "Sure it sounds like fun, and if it would help my Dragonair to evolve that would be great."

In no time flat Brad was in a boat that was floating down the river. Brad's Dragonair swam in the water beside him as he was going down the river. The first of the trials was three Jynx. That was one of the Pokémon from the last trial. Brad used Dragonair to use flamethrower on all three of the singing Jynx. Then the three Jynx all attacked the Dragonair with Psychic that slowed the Dragonair from attacking again. Then Dragonair attacked the Jynx again with flamethrower to defeat the Jynx. This was enough to get through the trail but Brad could not help but think about the lovely dreams that the Jynx gave the last time they met. The dreams were sweet and gave him exactly what he desired.

Then Brad had to go down a narrow part of the river. The problem is that the narrow part of the river was infested with eight Gyardos. Dragonair nailed the Gyardos with thunderbolt. The Gyardos did not like that but one of their ranks fell. Now the Gyardos all attacked with hyper beam. The hyper beam tired all of the Gyardos. This caused an opening to knock out three Gyardos with a thunderbolt attack. As one Gyardos snapped at Dragonair it got hit with a Dragon pulse attack that knocked out one Gyardos. The next two both used thrash attack on Dragonair. That tired both of them out and they started to fight one another. That caused all eight Gyardos to faint and Brad could make it to the next trial on the river.

The next was the bridge that was created by the damn, Which would be dangerous but it was made just in case anybody wanted to try this trial in the future. It was also done in the memory of the legend that happened on this river. Therefore while Brad was passing through the damn in the safest way possible he was attacked by Pokémon with one eye. Starmie were vicious, and attacked the Dragonair with big move but always seemed to miss. It caused brad to get a headache from the signals that were being sent from the different Starmie. The signals they were sending one another did not make sense to Brad. That is when Brad sent a thunderbolt nad they all attacked Dragonair. When brad did flamethrower they used the move recover. Finally if brad did Ice Beam the group would wait and see what would happen. Therefore Brad froze the Starmie in place to be able to keep flowing down the river.

The last trail that Brad was up against was the group of Gengar. When Brad got to the Gengar he could hear them scream "Give me your soul…" I need your blood" "we can give you immortality." All of these things made Brad's skin crawl but Dragonair shot ice beam at them to get them to freeze Brad was down the river, and made it to the mouth of the river. At that moment Brad's Dragonair took to the sky and evolved into Dragonite.

Arthur and the Gym

Now Brad went to the gym the next day after changing Dagonite's move set up to best beat the Dragon type trainer. Arthur said "I am impressed that you beat the river trials of the man named Hercules. I am impressed that it only took you this short of a time to raise that Dragonite, Now brad I want you to know that I won't go easy on you. This battle will be a one-on-one battle between Dragonite." Brad responded, 'I would not have it any other way."

They both drew their Dragonite and attacked. Brad's Dragonite immediately used Dragon dance twice. Then Arthur went for a dragon pulse that was just not fast enough. Brad's Dragonite used dragon Dance twice more getting faster every time. Then Arthur attacked with a Ice beam attack which greatly hurt Dragonite, but Dragonite got off Dragon Dance one more time. Now it seemed like Dragonite could teleport form place to place because it could move just that fast. With one more Dragon Dace Dragonite was ready to attack. Arthur screamed "Okay we get it you want you Dragonite to be fast and strong." Then Brad yelled "Use Outrage." Arthur explained "That isa powerful move but it is going to come with a price." In a funny way he would have usually been right the attack usually makes the Pokémon confused after a few hits, but Brad's Dragonite knocked the other out in one hit. Since the other Dragonite could not defeat it before the Dragonite got all the way powered up the gym leader lost.

"Bahaahaha well that is one way to win a gym battle. You have defeated me, and you can get the Legend Badge right now. You are now officially a dragon. You get the official title at least. All Dragon type masters are known as dragons. You area very skilled trainer, and I have not been defeated by a dragon type Pokémon in a long while. I believe that you are a great defender of the dragon type! Congrats on the win. Now go win the league for the title of dragon and for the dragon type in general. We need more respect around here."

The Baby Tournament

Brad went to see what was happening in the Trainer club that day, and it was on the bulletin board that there was tournament today. Now the tournament was only for Pokémon that had not evolved but could evolve. Brad said that it was great opportunity to show of his new Oddish, and maybe level up his Poliwag. He entered the tournament but it was interesting that a crowd had formed for the tournament. Now these Pokémon were all going to be pretty weak so Brad could not figure out why the crowd. When he asked someone said that a top one hundred trainer was going to fight in the tournament. The matches were four Pokémon doubles matches. Perfect for what Brad wanted to do.

Now the first battle was against a fat man that liked to do a lot of hiking. The Pokémon that the hiker used was Geodude and Sandshrew. Brad of course used Oddish and Poliwag. Sandshrew tried to dig a hole, but Poliwag filled it up with water gun attack. Making the Sandshrew take massive amounts of damage. Then the shiny Oddish used absorb on Geodude to gain life from Geodude. Then Geodude tried a rock throw on Brad's Pokémon but it was not very effective. So Brad used absorb again on Geodude. Then Sandshrew got hit by water gun. They both were defeated. Then the hiker used Machop and Mankey. Brad got Poliwag to do double slap on the Machop which knocked it off balance. Oddish then shot acid in the face of Mankey. Mankey became poison because of the attack. Then the Mankey attacked with low kick the pain hurt it more than the damage it did to Oddish. Then Oddish used acid again to attack both Machop and Mankey. Poliwag used bubble to attack the pair as well. Mankey took damage because of the poison. Then the to attacked with multiple Karate chops. Mankey took damage with every move that it made. It did not look good for Brad. When Mankey was about to do one last karate chop on Poliwag it fainted form the poison, and Oddish and Poliwag beat Machop.

The next opponent was a guy named Richard who said that he could breathe fire. He used a Ponyta and Growlithe. Brad used his same two after they had healed. He thought that it might be hard to win the fight with Oddish but well worth the experience Oddish would get. Poliwag used water gun on Ponyta and that was a quick win the attack was hardly out before Ponyta fell. Then Firebreather Richard used Charmander to replace Ponyta. That is when Oddish hit Growlithe with a Acid attack to the eyes. It made the Growlithe run wild, and it roared in pain which made Charmander be replaced with another Ponyta. Which wa also promptly taken out by water gun from Poliwag. Which forced Charmander to come back. Then Oddish hit Growlithe again with Acid. Charmander attacked Oddish with ember attack, but it did not faint. Growlithe then tried to do a bite attack with the acid still in its eyes, so it bit Charmander. Poliwag took the advantage of them standing close and defeated both with a water gun attack.

Now the next guy to fight Brad was a fisher. That was fortunate for Brad because that meant that he would have mostly water types. He met Brad with a Magikarp and another Magikarp. Now Brad was underly confused how this made it to the third round, but he did not ask any questions. So when Brad hit one with absorb, and the other with Double slap. The two Magikarp were defeated in away that was not very satisfying. Then the fisher man sent out his Poliwag and his Psyduck. Then the Psyduck was attacking Brad with a powerful confusion attack. Brad decide that was the Pokémon that he had to take out first. That was when Oddish used Mega Drain to get all of its damage back from Psyduck. Then Poliwag hit Psyduck body with double slap. The enemy Poliwag attacked Oddish with a double slap. Which then got the enemy's Poliwag life drained with a Mega Drain attack. Knocking the Poliwag out. Then Oddish focused on Psyduck with Brad's Poliwag. Poliwag nailed Psyduck in the head getting in return a great Psychic blast. Which made the Psyduck faint from the over exertion.

The last match was a person was probably sixteen years old. He was wearing a suit of gray. He ran his hand through his hair and said "Don't you love being the top in a tournament. It makes me strive to be the Head Trainer." That is when he called out his Pikachu, and Charmander. "These two Pokémon need levels that is the only reason I am here!" So when Brad called out Poliwag and Oddish Pikachu headed straight towards Poliwag. Oddish got in the way and used Mega drain. With Pikachu trying to attack Poliwag this left Charmander open to attack. Which got Charmander hit with a massive water gun attack. The Water gun attack knocked out Charmander. "Don't get used to it I am not in the top one hundred for nothing." He called out a Mankey to replace the Charmander. That is when Oddish got another Mega drain on Pikachu. Pikachu used thunder shock at Poliwag. It hurt but Poliwag did not faint. It got revenge with a slew of double slap attack. Pikachu was knocked out and replaced with a Sandshrew. Now the trainer must not have watched the other matched because Sandshrew dug a hole and got beaten by Poliwag filling the hole with water. Mankey got an acid attack to the eyes from Oddish. Then Poliwag got a water gun to Mankey, and the battle was won. "How did I get beat by a nobody in the nine thousands." Brad got the cash for winning another tournament, and moved way up for beating the trainer in the one hundreds. Brad was now seven thousand five hundred and ninety fifth in the Trainers Club.

The Dream

That night Brad had a dream. It seemed that Brad's Alakzam gave Brad a prophecy in the night. It was of a cloaked figure that stole away a scepter from a the hall of the king in Bonham. Brad woke up an thought that it was a dream. Now he had to figure out a reason to believe the dream was going to really happen. It was then that Alakzam came out of his Pokeball to urge Brad to go to protect the next piece of the King's artifacts.

Brad started out towards the museum were the scepter was being held. Brad told the guard about the vision it was simple the guard did not believe Brad. Even when Brad proved that Alakzam could see the future. The guard then chose to attack Brad with his Pokémon assuming that he could be the distraction from the real crime. The guard sent out a weak Growlithe. That is when Brad protected himself by using Poliwag. Growlithe started the fight by biting Brad's Poliwag. Which seemed to Brad a very suspicious thing to do for a guard to attack first. Brad then used water gun to knock out the Growlithe. Then the guard attacked Brad's team with a Vulpix. The Vulpix started with a Wil o Wisp attack. Which started to burn Poliwag. That is when Poliwag used water gun to hurt the Vulpix. Vulpix used quick attack to knock Poliwag off the ground quick. Poliwag then used double slap on the Vulpix. That is when Vulpix used quick attack to its trainer. The guard screamed "I know what you are afraid of." That is when he gave his Vulpix a fire stone to evolve Vulpix into a Ninetales. Now Brad realized something that might have taken him a long time to figure out. That was not a guard. A random guard would not know that Brad was afraid of Ninetales. He must be a part of team Ancient. That is when Poliwag used water gun again and knocked out the Ninetales. The random guard thought that it would stop Brad in its tracks, but it failed to phase him.

Now Brad rushed into the museum because he was not going to let the second item fall into the hands of Morrim. If all five of the items were worn by one person, they were supposed to be the next king, and given power to become the next king. Now as soon as Brad ran into the unlocked museum it was clear that he was not alone. Three grunts came down on him. That was when Brad used his Oddish. Which was just one of the Pokémon that he still had on him from the tournament. Brad got Oddish to use sweet scent to attract all of the Omanyte on top of him. The six Omanyte jumped Oddish, but all got their health taken with Mega drain.

"Ha you have taken those good for nothing grunts out. I have been yearning to prove myself. I have stolen extra Pokémon with my Omanyte and dared to think out of the box. Which basically means to train my Pokémon and catch wild Pokémon. I have been trying to get stronger to rise in the ranks of Team Ancient. Prepare to be defeated." Said another grunt dressed as a guard.

That is when the grunt used a Dugtrio. The Pokémon yelled "Trio Trio Trio." The Pokémon dug a whole into the floor of the museum. Brad knew that it was not a wise move but the Pokémon that he had been using and needed training had been working. Therefore, Brad continued to use Poliwag to fight this Dugtrio. Now Brad did what he always did for the dig attack, ad flooded the hole that Dugtrio made. The attack finally hit Poliwag, and then Poliwag used the time that it was in the air to hit Dugtrio with another water gun attack. That is when Dugtrio went for fissure attack that shook the building in pain of the power. Poliwag had jumped one second before the shock to dodge the attack. The Poliwag gave each of Dugtrio's heads five double slaps. Then nailed it with a water gun to finish the Dugtrio off.

"You shall not defeat me and stop my honor!" said the grunt. The grunt then uses a Ivysaur. "I got this one off a trainer that was on the road to Cabell. I think that you might have a problem fighting him with those two Pokémon." That is when Poliwag shot a mud shot right in the eyes of Ivysaur. Then followed up with a double slap on the Ivysaur. That is when Poliwag leapt into the air and landed a body slam attack on the Ivysaur. Then Ivysaur started to wave the vines around in a wild mess. That is when Oddish used sweet scent to calm Ivysaur down. Which got Ivysaur to start running towards Oddish. That is when Poliwag leapt again and got another body slam attack on Ivysaur. Which made the Pokémon not able to battle, and that made the grunt furious. The grunt started to yell slurs, and curse at Brad.

Now this when the grunt finally realized the Oddish, and dollar sign replaced his eyes. "Now that is a Pokémon that is worth stealing." That is when the grunt used a duo of Omastar and Charmeleon to fight the duo of Oddish and Poliwag. That is when both of the enemies rushed the Oddish because of the smell. Charmeleon hit Oddish with a weak flamethrower because Poliwag hit it with both a mud shot and a water gun in the time that it took to get to Oddish. That is when Omastar got to Oddish, and Omastar lost all of its health before it could land a hit on Oddish. Oddish had used Mega Drain before the grunt could react. "My training, all of my work, I have not trained hard enough. I have not worked hard enough. I have failed Thana. I have failed Ponos. I have failed the high king Morrim."

The next room that brad entered all three of them were there. Ponos Thana and Morrim where all gathered around the exhibit that held an ancient scepter. They had knocked it open, and taken the scepter. Ponos was holding it in his hand and bowing to his king. He was holding the scepter out towards him. That is when Morrim saw Brad and told his two admins to attack Brad. One admin used Omastar, and the other one used Kabutops. That is hen Oddish took both of them out. Now the two admins did not look like they were in the best of shape. They looked like they battled there way through all of the guards. To be honest though they probably did fight through most of them because the grunts would have been useless. So the next Pokémon that they used was a pair of Aerodactyl. Poliwag then shot a water gun at both of them. That is when Oddish replenished it sweet scent attack. That is when Oddish jumped on top of one of the Aerodactyl. Which made it go wild it gave an opening for Poliwag to get another in water gun. Which knocked out that one Aerodactyl. Then the second hit Oddish with a wing attack. Then Oddish got it tail and climbed on this Aerodactyl. Which allowed the Oddish to suck the life of Aerodactyl. Winning Brad the battle against the two admins. When Brad won the battle Oddish and Poliwag bot evolved into Gloom and Poliwhirl respectively.

It was then that Morrim with the crown on his head, and his purple suit on put out his scepter. "Ha well Brad you have been training. I would love to fight you right now, but I have what I want. So I am going to leave before you try to take it. Ponos! Thana! Time to retreat to our base and come up with a plan to get the other three pieces." The three got away, and Brad found where the guards had been stored. The police eventually made it to the sight of the crime. "Well, we do not like it when kids play vigilante, but you did a good job, and we get to capture some of these grunts. You could not have saved the scepter. Do not feel bad kid." Brad then went back to the Trainer Club and treated Poliwag and Gloom to a leaf stone, and Water stone evolving both of them into Poliwrath, and Vieplume.

A Powered-Up Tournament

Now Scott started a tournament in the Trainer Club. This was a tournament where the trainers were to go all out in battle. Each battle would be a six-on-six tournament. All Pokémon would need to be fully evolved to compete. Brad was excited because he had recently gotten some new Pokémon evolved all of the way. He was planning on using a variation of the Pokémon that he had raised. So this was a great opportunity to fight his strongest Pokémon with the other trainer's strongest Pokémon. This tournament meant great training for anyone that would be involved in the tournament. Now Brad decided on the Pokémon that he would fight with, and Scott said that the tournament would be worth a hundred thousand Club dollars because of the higher stake of the fights. Anyone that did really well would move up in the ranks because the fights were going to be super powerful. It was a better estimate of a trainers talents than any other tournament where someone might just use his favorite Pokémon.

In the first battle Brad was fighting a man that was in a kimono. This was someone that was a self-classified answer of expert, and elder Pokémon trainer. He started the match with his Hypno. Brad was definitely creeped out by the choice of training one of those Pokémon. It was probably because of the one that he owned was evil. It was currently doing time in a extra locked PC. Brad used his Rapidash that was bigger than a Rhydon. Brad attacked the Hypno with flame charge attack. While the Rapidash was trying for the next attack the Hypno was using hypnosis on Rapidash. That was when Rapidash crashed into Hypno. The Hypno was knocked which made the expert call out another Pokémon.

"Know I get to use my new friend." Then the expert used a Poliwrath. Brad took Rapidash out of the fight. Then Brad called out his Poliwrath that made the fight a equal battle. "I thought that it would be fun to fight our Poliwrath." Brad's Poliwrath started off with a submission attack with both of the other Poliwrath's arms in the air. Then tripped to land the enemy Poliwrath on its face. Then the enemy Poliwrath wrestled the Brad's Poliwrath to land on its back. The enemy Poliwrath attacked with multiple Dynamic Punches. All of the punches missed, but Brad's Poliwrath got to its feet and copied the other landing one Dynamic Punch to the expert's Poliwrath. The expert's Poliwrath was confused. That is when Brad's Poliwrath grabbed the other and used body slam to knock him to the ground. Then expert's Poliwrath hurt itself trying to attack. The confusion damage knocked out the expert's Poliwrath.

Then the expert used Nidoking. Then Brad started with a Dynamic Punch which missed. Then Nidoking hit with a Megahorn attack. That is when Poliwrath tried to go for submission. The poison point ability got a poison on Poliwrath. Now Poliwrath was defeated because its first battle exerted great effort, and then the poison made Poliwrath faint. This was Brad's first Pokémon down. This made brad greatly think about who was going to be his next Pokémon.

Then it was decided Brad wanted to go back to Rapidash. It was weak against ground types moves but Rapidash was fast. That is when Brad used Rapidash for a flame charge attack. It was met by an earthquake attack from Nidoking which was extra hard from falling from the sky after Rapidash last attack. Nidoking came close to attack Rapidash with a horn attack, but Nidoking got hit with a horn attack first. Then Rapidash used flame charge again. Rapidash was moving so fast that you could barely see it at this point. It was when Rapidash hit Nidoking with the next flame charge that Nidoking used earthquake at the same time. This made both of them become knocked out at the same time.

Then the expert used a Alakzam. Brad countered the Pokémon with a Gengar. That is when Gengar started the battle with a shadow sneak attack. Then hit Alakzam with a shadow ball attack. Alakzam hit Gengar with a psychic attack. Which caused great damage to Gengar because it was super effective move. Gengar then used shadow sneak again, but Alakzam tried to catch Gengar, but when Alakzam turned it snuck to the other shadow. Which made Alakzam get hit by a shadow ball attack. When Alakzam was finally facing Gengar it attacked with night shade attack. Which knocked out the Alakzam.

Brad left out Gengar while the expert threw out a Persian. This seemed like a strange choice since these two would not be likely able to hit each other with any good moves. That is when Gengar started using hypnosis attack. Then Persian started to take a quick Meowth nap. Then Gengar started to give Persian a nightmare about getting dropped in the ocean. It was also thinking about getting shaved, and someone trying to remove its jewel. That is when the Persian was so scared that it woke up from the quick nap. Unlike Hypno Gengar could get a hypnosis attack without the Pokémon looking at them. So Gengar used shadow sneak, then hypnosis, and then another nightmare to knock out Persian.

Now Gengar was looking weak, but the expert used a Beedrill which was not exactly a frightening opponent. The Beedrill started to attack with a Twineedle attack. It did not affect Gengar all that much. Then Brad got a Shadow sneak on Beedrill that left a blind spot on Beedrill to get a shadow ball attack. As soon as the Beedrill turned Gengar started to use Hypnosis and then given nightmares. The nightmares were about the hive getting destroyed by fire. It dreamed of the Weedle going away. It dreamed of Charizard killing its young. It dreamed of wildfires, and hurricanes. Then it passed out due to the bad dreams. This gave Brad the win, but it also meant that he did really good in the battle because he only showed three Pokémon in his team.

Now Brad went against a trainer that looked like a pretty new trainer. The fact that he had six fully evolved Pokémon was a shock to Brad. Now Brad had switched up the Pokémon that he was going to use for this battle because he wanted to use many different types of his fully evolved Pokémon. Since his goal was to catch them all he would usually send them to Professor Cypress to be bred, and made into a living Pokédex.

The kid started out with a Ratticate, and Brad used his Nidoqueen. She had not seen battle that much but he wanted to see what she could do. Ratticate started the battle out with a hyper fang attack on Nidoqueen. Nidoqueen was bitten in the perfect place for Nidoqueen to follow it up with a flurry of Chip Away attacks. When the Ratticate fell to the ground Nidoqueen jumped on to Ratticate with a body slam attack. Ratticate hit Nidoqueen with a quick attack, and Nidoqueen was stunned for a moment. That is when Ratticate used a crunch attack that made Nidoqueen feel off. It looked like Ratticate was about to win the battle win Nidoqueen used earth power. Which devastated Ratticate, and made it look like it was not going to be able to attack. Ratticate popped up just to be knocked out by a. chip away attack.

The next Pokémon that the youngster used was a Beedrill. Brad changed his Pokémon to Jynx. That is when Beedrill started the attack with a Twineedle attack. That is when Jynx jumped up and kissed Beedrill on the forehead for a lovely kiss attack. With this the Beedrill falls asleep in the middle of the battle. It was at this moment that Jynx unleashed a powder snow attack. This did great damage to the Beedrill because Ice type moves is super effective against it. Then Jynx continued to attack with Powder snow until the opponent's Beedrill was defeated.

Then the child sent out his Butterfree to fight Brad's Jynx. Brad started the attack with a powder snow attack that was sent back to it with a whirlwind attack from Butterfree. Then Butterfree attacked with a gust attack. Now this move was not very effective, but it kept Jynx from kissing Butterfree. Then Butterfree gets closer to land a sleep powder attack, but at the same moment Jynx hit Butterfree with an Ice Punch attack. This knocked the Butterfree out, but also made Brad's Jynx fall asleep.

The next Pokémon that the youngster used was a Fearow. Now Brad took Jynx out because it had fallen asleep in the battle. Brad then used Golem to counter the Fearow. Fearow started with a drill peck attack on Golem. That did not do much damage, but Golem returned the attack with a Rockslide attack. Fearow barely got hit by the rockslide attack, but its wing got injured. That is when Fearow hit Golem with a fury attack that hit Golem five times. While Fearow was so close to the face of the Golem it got hit with a devastating rock throw attack. The Fearow had to retreat and go far up in the air. Then Fearow started an attack that would consist of a Pursuit attack and retreat multiple times. The youngster just assumed that he could do this until he beat the Golem, but Brad caught on. That is when Golem started to nail Fearow when he started to retreat after the pursuit. Golem would hit it with a rock throw attack every time that it would retreat. That is when the Fearow fainted and left the youngster with two Pokémon.

Now Brad was amazed when the kid threw out a Hitmonlee. "I am from Dearing town. I got a Pokémon from the fighting type gym leader Kicken before I left for Davison to start my journey." That was when Brad brought Golem back to its Pokeball and sent out Nidoqueen. That is when the Hitmonlee went for high jump kick. Nidoqueen stepped out of the way. Then Nidoqueen used earth power attack to make the damage from the crash even worse. Then Hitmonlee stretched out its leg for a double kick attack, but Nidoqueen knocked the foot out of the way with a chip away attack. Which did not let the first foot plant so that the second foot flew wildly threw the air, and Hitmonlee ended up doing the splits. Which Nidoqueen capitalized on, and defeated the Hitmonlee with earth power attack.

The youngster said "For my final Pokémon I am going to use my strongest. My ace is really big! Go Snorlax!" Then the first thing that happened was Snorlax jumped into the air, and Nidoqueen dodged the body slam attack. With Nidoqueen's two hands in the air being brought down Snorlax got hit with a earth power attack. With the long time that it took for Snorlax to stand Nidoqueen did a back flip and knocked the Snorlax back down with a body slam attack. It was clear that the crowd that had formed for the tournament thought that was a wild way to treat another Pokémon. They started to cheer for Nidoqueen and her crazy antics. Then Nidoqueen started to appeal to the crowd when Snorlax hit it from behind with a mega punch attack. Then Nidoqueen turned around and nailed Snorlax with a chip away attack. Now the two started to have standoff. The Snorlax would use mega punch to hit Nidoqueen. Then Nidoqueen would hit Snorlax with Chip Away attack. Then after twenty rounds of this Snorlax fell down, and Nidoqueen did another back flip body slam attack. Snorlax had its hand up trying to prove that it was not knocked out yet, but that is when Nidoqueen used earth power attack. Snorlax's hand fell to the ground, and Brad had won this match.

Brad got a lot of points on that win because it was a perfect win with no Pokémon lost, and three Pokémon did not fight. It was clear that even if Brad did not win this tournament that he would be greatly advancing in the rankings of the Trainer Club. That is not to say that Brad was not confident in the fact that he would win the tournament. His next opponent was Michael which was doomed to be an amazing match.

Now Michael started out with his Electrode. That is when Brad used Golem thinking that. He could get the advantage against Michael. Brad then started a barrage of rockslide attacks on Electrode. That is when Electrode started to use rollout and landed a hit on Golem. Brad laughed and said "You think that you can beat me like that." That is when Golem countered with his own rollout. They would hit and shoot back. Then again and again they would hit then roll along way away. That is when Brad had an idea for Golem to use dig. That is when Electrode followed him into the hole. Then Michael started to giggle. The Electrode had given him a wink when he went down into the hole. So, Hayden ordered the Electrode to use Explosion attack. This knocked out both of the Pokémon. Michael said, "I could not have you going and shutting me out like you did your last opponent." So, both of the boys had five Pokémon each left.

Then Michael used Gengar and Brad used his Gengar. "Ha we match." Said Michael. I hope this shows who has raised their Gastly better. To start the battle Brad's Gengar used shadow sneak and shadow ball to get the jump on Michael's Gengar. That is when Michael's Gengar turned and hit it with a massive thunder bolt. This caught Brad's Gengar off guard and used Michael's Gengar used Psychic on Brad's Gengar. This mean that Brad's Gengar was on the defense. This when Brad's Gengar snuck into the shadow of Gengar, and did not attack. Brad's Gengar kept forcing Michael's Gengar to go back and forth trying to hit an attack. When both Gengar was very tired they knocked each other out with a shadow ball attack.

That meant that Brad and Michael both had four Pokémon left. "I think you know what the next Pokémon should be." Michael laughs and says "That is the only reason that I brought that Pokémon. You are on I know that I am going to win." Now Brad and Michael both threw out Tauros. It came over the louder speaker "Now this is going to be the fighting of the Tauros. This should be a good battle." The two Tauros started to run towards each other. When the two Tauros were about to make contact Brad's Tauros verged of and hit the Michael's Tauros with tail whip attack. This happened two more times without fail. Then Michael's Tauros nailed Brad's with horn attack, but Brad hit back with payback. The payback attack came with great damage because Brad had chipped away at Michael's defense and used Payback to double his attack. Then they started to gallop toward each other and Brad's Tauros used Zen headbutt to hit harder than the other. Michael got a payback in after that though but it did not do as much damage as Brad's payback. So Brad's Tauros hit the other with horn attack which made it faint. Brad as one step ahead of Michael. Then Michael used Nidoking that hit Tauros with Double kick that made Brad's Tauros faint. They were back to being equals.

Then Brad used Alakzam to counter Nidoking. Nidoking was immediately in a Psychic attack that made it unable to move. That is when Alakzam started to get closer to Nidoking, and that made it lose focus. Nidoking broke through the psychic attack, and it had taken some damage. Then Nidoking landed a Megahorn attack on Alakzam. It was hard hit for Alakzam. Then Alakzam used a psybeam to knock the Nidoking but it was not fazed by the attack. Then the Nidoking started thrash about and hit Alakzam with two powerful attacks. After the attack Nidoking was confused. This was problem for Michael, but Brad got Alakzam to put Nidoking back into psychic. Nidoking broke free once again now healed from the confusion. It hit Alakzam with one final Megahorn knocking out Alakzam.

Now Brad used Machamp to fight Nidoking. Michael was up by one Pokémon which mean that Brad would have to be careful not to lose this battle. Machamp grabbed the arms of Nidoking and then threw Nidoking over its head onto Nidoking's back. Then Nidoking gave Machamp a Megahorn attack directly to the back. Then Machamp used low kick to Nidoking back down. Then Brad tried to get another submission again, but Nidoking broke through with multiple thrash attacks. Then Machamp got all four of its arms around Nidoking's arms. Nidoking used it to it advantage to land a Megahorn on the chest of Machamp. While Nidoking was confused it still landed attack after attack. So Machamp fell and was knocked out.

Brad was down by two Pokémon he decided that he needed a little flair in the fight. He needed to get the crowd on his side again. So, he used Nidoqueen to be able to get some enthusiasm in the bleachers. The crowd started to yell and cream remembering this Nidoqueen from the last match. That is when Nidoqueen raised her hands, and them pointed them at the ground. Nidoking was still confused a bit. Nidoking did not even see the earth power move coming and was defeated in an instant.

"Now I get the chance to use my beauty. I have not got to use her in a fight yet." That is when Michael called out Lapras. That is when Nidoqueen was looking away and pointed her hands up and down. While Nidoqueen used the theatrics of earth power Lapras nailed Nidoqueen with ice beam. This made it look Nidoqueen had wings. This actually made it easier for Nidoqueen to jump up and do a back flip, and land on the necks of Lapras. This made the Lapras be paralyzed which makes it unable to move sometimes. This gave Nidoqueen an opening to land three more backflip body slams. That is when Michael had diabolical idea and used Perish Song. Which made it a limited amount of time before Nidoqueen and Lapras would be knocked out. That is when Nidoqueen felt power throughout her arms. Which knocked Nidoqueen out with a super power attack. This made the score back to fair, but the time was not on the favor of Nidoqueen. If Nidoqueen could not win the match with the fresh Charizard she would lose and Brad would be out. Nidoqueen only had two moves before she would faint.

Now Nidoqueen started to attack with rockslide. "I had a feeling that I would meet your Charizard in this battle. I taught my Nidoqueen rockslide just for this moment." Then Brad knew that he only had one more move with Nidoqueen before you get knocked out. Michael's Charizard was pinned by the wings because of the rockslide attack to start the battle. It was blasting fire, and thrashing about. That is when Nidoqueen hit Charizard with a direct rockslide to the back of Charizard. With two attack that were four times as strong on Charizard. The Charizard did not stand a chance. Brad won the match with just a second left.

Scott said "Brad your points are going way up for the come from behind win. Also winning in the last second possible shows your resourcefulness." Brad just won the battle with what seemed to be a fan favorite of the crowd. They all went wild when Brad finished the battle at the last chance. The crowd screamed "Nidoqueen! Brad! Nidoqueen! Brad!" If Brad won the next match he would get a whole lot of Club Dollars, and would move up in the ranks. Now it was decided that the finals would be against Kimber.

"Me and my cuties will not be defeated!" Kimber started off with her Jolteon. Brad thought tha the popularity would help the crowd to get excited for the battle. Nidoqueen had been replenished by the machine at the Trainer Club and was ready to fight. Jolteon started out with a quick attack, and double kick. This did not affect Nidoqueen all of that much. Then Nidoqueen started to raise her hands up. Jolteon got two more kicks to the back before landing on the ground. That is when Nidoqueen pointed down, and earth power hit Jolteon. Earth power took Jolteon out in one hit.

That got the crowd excited. Kimber then used her Flareon. The fire spin that trapped Nidoqueen was quick. Flareon would leap through the fire and hit Nidoqueen with a double kick attack. That was when Nidoqueen felt the power through her arms, and used superpower on Flareon. Which made the pillar of fire spin fall down. The Flareon was still on the ground when Nidoqueen did a backflip body slam. It was clear that Kimber was not happy about how brad was treating her Pokémon like a spectacle. Then Nidoqueen raised its hands and let out a rockslide attack. Which knocked out Flareon.

Then Kimber used Dodrio which was super quick. Then Dodrio hit Nidoqueen with multiple peck attacks. The Nidoqueen fought back with some superpower punches. Then Nidoqueen turns her back to appeal to the crowd because they were going wild at this point. That was when Dodrio landed a Tri attack on Nidoqueen. Which Kimber thought was a great move because it showed Brad that appealing to the fans was not going to win the battle. Then Nidoqueen turned around and used a superpower attack to knock one of the heads of Dodrio. The other two attacked relentlessly. That was when Nidoqueen was knocked out of the match. "Good now I go that appealing attention getter out of the match so now you can act normal!" Now up until this point Brad did not know that he had offended her.

Now Brad used his Vieplume thinking that this would throw off Kimber. The crowd continued to go wild for this Vieplume because it was shiny. That was short lived though, because Dodrio started the drill pecks with each beak almost instantly. This was countered by Vieplume using giga drain to gain back its life little by little. This was not enough to get Brad the advantage though, so Vieplume shot petal dance right in the faces of Dodrio. That made it take another attack as well. This made the Vieplume confused after using that great amount of effort. Now Dodrio was not looking good but finished of Vieplume with drill peck attack.

Now Brad used his Poliwrath to fight the Dodrio. Even though Poliwrath had the disadvantage by type Brad was still confident. The first thing that Poliwrath did was to use submission on the two outside head, and used his legs to lock the middle head. Which made Dodrio fall face forward and do a cartwheel like motion to land on it back. That is when the flurry of ice punches came to Dodrio. Every time one hit landed it was massive damage because of the ice type advantage. The screech from the three headed Pokémon was enough to get anything to stop it attack. That is when the legs of the Dodrio grabbed Poliwrath's arms. With the arms gripped Dodrio wrestled out of the hold. Then relentlessly went back to doing peck attack. Then like a pendulum, Poliwrath would hit an outside head with ice punch. Just for that head to hit the other heads. Then Poliwrath would do it to the other side. Eventually this caused the Dodrio to form ice on its heads, and faint.

Then Kimber did something that Brad was not expecting used Vaporeon. Vaporeon started the fight with a quick attack that knocked Poliwrath down. Then Vaporeon jumped to use water gun on Poliwrath. Poliwrath caught Vaporeon by the tail and started to use double slap. Every time the move was over it would just start back. This caused a lot of damage to Vaporeon. It was obvious that it would faint if it could not figure out a way to turn this around. Vaporeon used Aurora beam to freeze the swirl on the front of Poliwrath. That made Poliwrath drop Vaporeon, and it got to attack with double edge. Then the Vaporeon started mockingly appeal to the crowd. Which made the crowd riot with laughter. Then Poliwrath grabbed Vaporeon by the body and used submission. When Poliwrath incapacitated Vaporeon's legs with his own legs. Then he started to do a double slap attack relentlessly. This made Vaporeon mad, and it gave Poliwrath a big horn with aurora beam. This made Poliwrath fall face forward. Then Poliwrath grabbed Vaporeon at the right moment and flung it. Vaporeon was unable to battle.

Then Kimber used her Persian to attack Brad's Poliwrath. It seemed like a simple battle for Brad. All it needed to do was to get the Persian into a submission hold, and Persian would be over. Now that was not as easy as said because Persian was being quite frisky every time Poliwrath approached. It is when Poliwrath finally got Persian by the body that Persian shocked Poliwrath with thunderbolt. That is when Poliwrath went in for a dynamic punch. The punch missed, and Poliwrath swung again but this time it landed. That made Persian confused which was perfect for Poliwrath to grab it. Unfortunately for brad Persian still hit Poliwrath with thunderbolt. Which made Poliwrath fall down and get knocked out of the battle.

Brad had a smile on his face "I have not gotten to use this Pokémon much at all. At least after it evolved. I am excited to use it in such a heated battle." Then Brad used Dragonite which immediately went into outrage. Persian jumped up to Dragonite but got smacked down with a arm. The attack was so powerful that not even Persian landed on its feet. It got up slowly and was ready to attack with thunderbolt from a distance. That was not Persian's strong suit, but it was an ability that Persian could do. Now before that could happen Dragonite had already met Persian near the ground and hit Persian for another massive attack. Which knocked Persian out of the battle.

Then Kimber says "well you are not the only one that took the chance to get a Dratini. I also have the Legend badge, and a Dragonite." Then Kimber sent out her Dragonite. This made the crowd go absolutely bonkers because both of these Dragonite were from their hometown and received from their gym. It was like a hometown match for them. You could hear them yelling for both sides. That is when the enemy Dragonite swooped in and attacked with Dragon Tail. Now Brad's Dragonite was confused because of the outrage attack that knocked out Persian. It was flying all around the stadium in a daze. Then Kimber's Dragonite got another Dragon Tail attack in. Now Brad's Dragonite took a look around and was ready to fight. That is when Brad's Dragonite let the other get really close to it and then Brad's Dragonite nailed Kimber's Dragonite for a four times weakness with Ice beam. That catches the opponent Dragonite off guard enough to get two outrage attacks in. This causes the Kimber's Dragonite to be knocked out of the battle.

"Hey, you made it further than me last time. I got an outright battle with you this time. You did a really good job. I can't wait until we can battle again." Said Brad. "Well as long as you don't go showing off with that Nidoqueen again. You should really consider a girl's emotions. Geez Brad, you made me look bad." Said Kimber. Brad responded "Oh I am sorry if you thought that I made you look bad my Nidoqueen is kind of a showoff, and the crowd was really liking it. Thought it might give me the advantage." Kimber reminded him "You always need to consider what an advantage is worth. Is it going to hurt your friends? Is it going to hurt your Pokémon? You have some work to do, but that was a fun match!" Scott then announced that Brad was the winner of the tournament and would receive one hundred thousand club dollars, and he moved up in the rankings. Brad looked at the board that was going to tell him how far he moved up. Just from this tournament alone he moves up over four thousand spots. His rank was now three thousand five hundred and sixty. Brad was very satisfied with this and decide that he would head onto Cabell town tomorrow.
