The Road to Dearing

Now Brad decided that it was time to head to Dearing. The road was right through Challenger's Way. Brad did not expect there to be many problems getting to Dearing today. Now while Brad would normally go to the bulletin board to see how he could help the people he did not see a single task. Which seemed very strange. That is when his watch started to go off, and Brad received a call from Professor Cypress "Hi Brad it has been a long time since we spoke. I want to you to know something I believe in you. It is simple you will eventually have to fight against the Pokémon that is spoke about in the legend. I am sending you this tool for that Pokémon. Look regularly I know pride might come into it. Oh, I caught the Pokémon of legend in a regular Pokeball. I mean you did catch the legendary birds trio like that. I just want you to know that I have gotten two master balls, and I think that you are going to need them. If you get the chance to fight Morrim do not hesitate to use them on the legendary Pokémon. I have enhanced it to break any Pokeball or trance that Morrim will evidently have that Pokémon in. Capture the Pokémon. when these two balls are used, they are programmed to go directly back to the lock system that we have the legendary birds in. I have given your watch access to them at any time that you may need them. I would not suggest using them in any Pokémon battle, but this one is when we need them the most. Alright Brad I am sending you the two master balls use them wisely, and save all of Manji for us. Make Davison proud to call you a local! I know I am proud to call you one of the trainers I started on their journey. I have to admit I am looking forward to you capturing this Pokémon. I will get a lot of data on a Pokémon that has never been studied before in the history of our world. We know nothing about this Pokémon, but with the legendary birds I know that you can beat it. We expect Team Ancient to fall once their plan is done. While I been talking I sent you a app to call the special forces into arrest Team Ancient once you have one the battle. Remember we are all rooting for you."

Now when Brad had just gotten to Challenger's Way he saw a caravan of cars, vans, and trucks. It seemed odd, but he assumed that it was because of the fact that the ancient statues were not their anymore. You know it would have been a great shock that he had captured them. He kept walking not wanting to get mixed up with all of the mess. That is when Brad felt a hard object that he soon realized was a rock hit him in the back of the head.

When he awoke from the coma he was in a seat before a throne. "Hahahahaha I was hoping that I would find you before I got the chance to call upon the great Pokémon. I stole the cape from a little museum in Dearing who would have expected that the last piece was actually not all that well guarded. I guess I will let you see the birth of the new age were I sit upon the throne, and rule as king of Manji." That was when Brad saw it. Brad saw Spinor, David, Flame, Crimson, Arthur, Crystal, Phoenix, Edgar, Treena, and seven more tied up behind the throne. It was strange to Brad that the gym leaders very clearly still had their belts on with their Pokémon inside.

Morrim had made Ponos, and Thana smaller chairs to sit beside him. That is when Morrim started to put the armor of the king on one piece at a time. The first was the breastplate he crept it on, and would be defended against any attack to his vital organs. Then the boots which had spikes which would make able to stand tall against any enemy that could come against him. The gauntlets that would protect his strong hands from the attack. With only three pieces he already looked like a king. Then he adorned the cape which was mostly for decoration. Then the crown a symbol of one's status as the king of the land. Finally, the scepter another symbol of power and status of the king.

When he raised the scepter two Pokémon came to life. One was a cute little ball of pink fur. Which seemed strange to Brad, but he could feel the power radiating from it none the less. The other was the size of man who was a white and had a purple tail starting from the front. Morrim started to laugh "who can challenge me now. I am the all-powerful king of Manji. I will destroy each of its leaders and make them pay for ever defying me."

That is when a Team Ancient grunt cut Spinor down. Spinor did not look thrilled with what was about to happen. He sent out his Scyther, Parasect Beedrill, Buterfree, and another Scyther. The Pokémon that had just said its name, Mewtwo, stopped them in their tracks. Once they were stopped, they were threw to the side. Then David was cut down and face a very similar fate. His Persian had gotten really close to Mewtwo but it did not quite make it. Flame and Crimson did not do anything impressive against the Pokémon. While Arthur gave Mewtwo a few hits before it was eventually defeated. Crystal, Phoenix, who should have been in prison, and Edgar all fought the beast with no success. Then something interesting happened, When Treena got up to fight Mewtwo and Mew, Wingstead came flying through the glass roof. Wingstead shouted "My love I am sorry. My mission was a success though. I am sorry I had to leave you to be captured by this monster." Then both of them promptly were defeated by Mewtwo as well. This went on and on until all eighteen gym leaders of Manji were defeated.

Then Brad was cut down, and was given the chance he hit is watch for the three birds. Morrim screamed "Yes attack me with three birds that you have captured. I want to see all of your power." That is when three familiar faces came from the whole that Wingstead had just broken. Hayden, Michael, and Kimber. They all came on Michael's Charizard. Michael shouted "You did not think we were going to make your final stand alone now did you?" hayed added "Yeah we want to see his face when we defeat his Pokémon together."

Then the battle begun Brad sent out the Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Dragonite, Lapras, and Aerodactyl. Kimber immediately made a box of barrier moves with her Mr. Mime to make sure that the two Pokémon do not escape. Then Moltres put the small pink one that was named Mew in a pillar of fire. The Mew tried to get out of the pillar but it went from the top of the box to the bottom. Now Dragonite used twister to make the fire spin a twister fire spin. The twister fire spin greatly dealt damage to the Mew. Now Aerodactyl would get a rock throw on Mewtwo ever now and again. If Mewtwo came low enough Hayden's Snorlax, and Michael's Tauros would play throw the Mewtwo back and forth.

Now Brad saw the opening when Mewtwo regained it posture from being attacked by Tauros and Snorlax. Brad unleashed a thunderbolt, flamethrower, Ice Beam in a legendary tri attack. This made Mewtwo to fall down but then Mew started use a move that seemed impossible. Time and space were moving around Mew seemed to be a distortion in space and time. That is when Kimber used Alakzam to figure out the distortion. That was when Alakzam started to use dazzling gleam to figure out how far Mew was away. It seemed to brad that he was just a foot away, but in reality Mew created a space distortion making them miles away. Then Moltres, and Dragonite did a twister fire spin attack. That made the whole distortion go up in fire. Then Kimber's Dragonite added to the twister as well. This distorted the distortion. That is when Mew started to be sucked down. Brad took the Master ball out, and the Dragonite made the end of the Twister suction towards Brad. Mew was captured by the master ball because it was sucked to Brad. Morrim screamed "what just happened! How did you capture the legendary Pokémon from the origin. How did you defeat it? How did you of all people make it disappear? Finally where did you send it and how can I get access to it? I will never surrender. I will rule Manji no matter what happens"

Now Mewtwo was still a problem. That is when every Pokémon was attacking Mewtwo. At the same moment Articuno used ice beam, Zapdos used thunderbolt, Moltres flamethrower, both Dragonite used Dragon pulse, Alakzam used Psybeam, Aerodactyl use rock throw, Kimber's Poliwrath used Ice Beam, Kimber's Arcanine used flamethrower, Gyardos used hyper beam, Snorlax use hyper beam, Charizard used flamethrower, and all the rest were attacking Mewtwo. Finally, Mewtwo had fallen and Brad ran up and hit it with the Master ball. The master ball vanished from the room.

Morrim screamed "You will never defeat me!" That is when Brad lit the special forces warning, and the Elite Four dropped in on the building in under minutes. Before Morrim, Thana, or Ponos could grab their Pokeballs for a battle they were in handcuffs. The battle against Mewtwo gave the gym leaders enough time to heal their Pokémon and take all of the grunt's captive. They were all going to face a life in prison for the crimes against Manji, and the crimes that had been committed against Pokémon. Peace was finally brought to Manji.

Not As One Hoped

Now as Brad was walking out of the building that whole debacle went down in. Once he left some suspicious activity was going on to the side of the building. Now Brad was about to find out a small truth about the world. Evil never really goes away but finds a different form. Brad yelled "Hey what are you two doing? You are just sneaking around when a legendary battle happens? Do you want to get yourselves killed." One of the mysterious figures said "Killed no we are trying to poach the legendary Pokémon from the battle, and I believe that you are the holder of all five legendary Pokémon now. So, I guess that we need to battle our Pokémon beat you up, and take that watch to get hold of the five legendary Pokémon. Let us tell you who we are. We are the Bounty Hunter Squad as Team Ancient falls we will soar."

"We are from Mersonia so we might use some Pokémon that you have never seen before. Go Sentret!" The other trainer sent out Houndour. They both wanted to battle Brad. Brad uses his Dragonite and wipes the floor with both Pokémon before they got the chance to attack. That is when Kicken the gym leader in Dearing came around the corner. "Hye Brad! Right? What are you doing over here?" Then she saw the two people attacking Brad and captured the two bounty hunters. "Hey, did they say why they were here?" said Kicken. Brad responded "Yeah, they said they wanted to poach the legendary Pokémon. They were not very good at battling. I think they might be our new big problem or not they were not that good. They said that they were from Mersonia and used different Pokémon that I have not known before." Kicken responded "Oh Mersonia is south of Manji. A lot of People travel there after their Pokémon journey in Manji."

Brad went to the Trainer Club with the realization that they had not destroyed all evil in the world. He realized that they only took care of what was killing them the fastest. Now Bounty hunter Squad did not have powerful Pokémon, but they can gain power in any instance. It was a somber time for Brad that he understood that evil must be fought every single day instead of one big act. Then Brad rested because of the big day that he had, and was overjoyed that he had caught Mew and Mewtwo.

Dearing Gym Battle

Brad wanted to fight the gym leader at the Dearing Gym this day. Now he had a great advantage because he had seen her fight Mew, and Mewtwo. Now Brad thought that would not mean very much because all he really got to see where her Pokémon before they all got thrown to the ground. He knew that this girl was a fighting type expert and would probably be a formidable foe if she was faced head on in battle that meant that Brad need to find Pokémon that could defeat a fighting type trainer. Fortunately, Brad had plenty.

Now while Brad saw Kicken at the gym. She was wearing a basketball jersey, and gym shorts with short brown hair. "Hey, the hero finally graces me with his presence! I assume you are here for the gym badge. We fight in six-on-six rounds here. Which means that there are six rounds, and we chose a different Pokémon for each round. If your Pokémon faints then the round is over, and the one that has Pokémon still up wins. It is a little different, but it forces trainers to know a variety of different Pokémon to defeat me. If they have not gathered six by the time they get here. Then I usually deny them access to a battle until they have caught more. Also, I do not want you using your legendary Pokémon we already know they can beat me.' Brad said "Of course I will not use legendary Pokémon on you. I do not want anyone to think that they can poach them off of me. I have my non legendary Pokémon to face you with. Do you want to get started with your impending loss?"

That is when Kicken started with a Hitmonlee to use in the first round. Brad chose his Charizard to fight the first round of battle. Now Hitmonlee started the attack with rolling kick. Charizard met the attack with air slash attack. This threw Hitmonlee's foot back at it. Which made Hitmonlee very unhappy. Then Hitmonlee went for another rolling kick with the other foot. The same thing happened to this foot. It went across the body of Hitmonlee. So, when it threw the other foot Charizard threw an air slash attack to make Hitmonlee tie itself up in a knot. Charizard picked up the knotted Hitmonlee and carried him far up in the sky. Charizard would throw Hitmonlee and hit him with fire every now again when it was flying up. Then Charizard grabbed the foot of Hitmonlee and swung it around by its foot. It would go out a ways to uncoil the Hitmonlee. Finally, Charizard got it up to the speed that it needed. Then Charizard chunked Hitmonlee all the way down to the earth. Hitmonlee bolted towards the ground and crumbled in defeat to Charizard. That made the score one to zero for Brad.

Now the next match was Poliwrath versus Venasaur. That is when Brad started off the battle with a leech seed attack. Then Poliwrath grabbed Venasaur for a submission attack. Then Venasaur grabbed both of Poliwrath's arms, and pulled it over its head to slam Poliwrath on the ground. All the damage from submission was gained back by leech seed. They both stood and. faced each other, and that is when Venasaur shot razor leaf at Poliwrath. Poliwrath tried to defend by punching the leaves, but Venasaur tripped Poliwrath to knock him on the ground. That is when Venasaur hit Poliwrath with a perfect X shape with vine whip. Poliwrath jumps up and landed a double ice punch. Which froze Venasaur solid. That made Poliwrath appeal to the crowd that had formed thinking that it had won until it got hit by a leech seed and fainted. The score was now two to zero for Brad.

Then the next battle was Primeape versus Alakzam. Then Primeape punched Alakzam with multiple Mach punches. Then Alakzam looked unamused by the battle that it was presented. Then Alakzam picked the Primeape up with Psychic and threw it across the battlefield. Then Primeape ran as fast it could and used close combat on Alakzam. When Alakzam moved back it hit Primeape with psybeam attack. Primeape was furious that it could not defeat Alakzam with its fist. Then Primeape hit a low kick to the face of Alakzam. Then did a complete three sixty to hit Alakzam with a Mach punch. That is when Alakzam used psychic again. That hurt Primeape exceedingly which made Primeape run towards Alakzam to never give up the fight. Then Primeape used bullet punch on Alakzam that shockingly hurt Alakzam. This is when Alakzam picked up Primeape by the feet, and then used psychic on Primeape. That is when Primeape learned a new move and used the energy to get a massive sky uppercut. Alakzam backed up. Primeape was surrounded by a psychic type of energy that formed a sphere around Primeape. Then all of the energy hit Primeape at once making it faint. The score was now three to zero.

"Now I cannot win this battle because you have won three battles, but I can make you ineligible to win the badge because of a draw. If you win another battle, you will win the badge. I will make sure that does not happen!" said Kicken. Now Brad was feeling like having some fun with Kicken and decided to use his Buterfree. While she used her Hitmonchan. First Hitmonchan tried to use fire punch on Buterfree but a second before it hit Buterfree. Buterfree used silver wind to make Hitmonchan hit itself with a fire punch and the damage from a mighty silver wind. Then Hitmonchan went for ice punch, but Buterfree used silver wind. That made Hitmonchan hit itself. Then Hitmonchan went for thunder punch, but Buterfree used silver wind. This made Hitmonchan hit itself. Finally, Hitmonchan was mad, and used sky uppercut. Buterfree moved back used silver wind and Hitmonchan fell to the ground out of the battle. That made Brad have the score four to zero shutting out Kicken. "I guess you win the Foot Badge. I hope you will stay in town a bit longer. I would love to fight you again!" With the Foot Badge in hand Brad went back to the Trainer club for the night.

In the Wake of Destruction

Now Brad went and took some bulletin board request. He wanted to help the people that were hurt by the menacing battle that took place on Challenger's Way. That is when Brad took some request to help with the damage. He thought that it might be fun and a good time to spend with some Pokémon that get lesser attention. Brad brough along his Blastoise, Rhydon, Slowpoke, Farfetch'd, Tauros, and Exeggcute. Now brad had not really gotten to spend the time with these Pokémon. They were all excited to get off of the ranch and see the world. Now Brad took five different bulletin board requests. There were two rubble pickups, two sets of criminals, and a save a citizen. Now Brad went off to Challenger's Way. It was just that he did not know what he would find in the rubble of the battle to defeat Team Ancient.

Now the first thing that Brad had come upon was the location of the rubble. It seemed that twenty trees had fallen down. This made the Pokémon that lived in the trees very angry. They attacked Brad the first chance that they got. Tauros defended Brad with a Zen headbutt on the five Beedrill that attacked Brad. The Kakuna did not really seemed to want to attack, but they shot poison sting at the Tauros. Then Tauros took out the Kakuna with a iron head attack. The Weedle had already retreated by the time this was finished. Then Brad's Farfetch'd started to chop up the trees that had fallen with cut attack. Once the pieces were cut Blastoise, and Rhydon would carry their share of the wood to one big pile. The pile was to be lit on fire later by someone from the Trainer Club. Tauros was the best though because it would carry two whole trees at a time. Now a few more Pokémon tried to stop Brad from piling up the trees. A Scyther and a Pinsir attacked Brad's team. Brad's Rhydon shot a rock throw attack at the Scyther. While Blastoise shot hydro pump at Pinsir. The Pinsir grabbed the leg of Blastoise and used seismic toss. Then Blastoise spun on the bottom of its shell. Then it jumped up, and shot a hydro pump at Pinsir again. Scyther kept using fury cutter on Rhydon but was not getting anywhere. Eventually Pinsir and Scyther were both defeated, and captured by Brad. They eventually finished the work on the trees, and had a huge pile of limbs, and tree trunks. This was going to be used at the Eevee Festival that was soon going to take place. Brad then decided that he would have to stay in town until the Eevee festival to see all of his hard work come to fruition.

Then Brad took a rest, but saw something very peculiar. It was a man that was cutting the tail off of Slowpoke to sell. Now this was a very big crime because it hurt the Pokémon. Now Pokémon were eaten for food, but not in cruel ways like mutilating living animals. So Brad used his Slowpoke to bait the criminal in. Now the criminal used a Ratticate to hurt the Slowpoke so that it would not fight back when he cut the tail off. When the Ratticate got close to Slowpoke it got hit with a water gun attack that would have been idolized at the Pokémon League. Obviously the Ratticate could not fight after that whooping attack. Then the criminal who must not have been wise used his Golem. The Golem was very slow. Which regularly would not be a problem when fighting a Slowpoke, but Golem was slower than Slowpoke. Then Slowpoke hit Golem with Surf. The criminal was cursing and screaming at his Pokémon. It was not a nice thing to see. Now the criminal used one last Pokémon his Machamp. Which kept hitting Slowpoke with Karate chop, and low kick. Now none of these attacks were ever close to defeating Slowpoke. Slowpoke used confusion, and the Machamp fell over and fainted. Now the man was standing so close to Slowpoke because he was going to sneak up behind him, and cut off his tail. That is when Slowpoke turned around and bit his hand. Immediately a pair of handcuffs was on the criminal because they had been in Slowpoke's mouth. Then the criminal was teleported away from Brad, and back to Dearing. When the battle was over Slowpoke had his tail in the lake near where this battle had taken place. That is when Slowpoke evolved to Slowbro because a Cloyster bit its tail.

Now that Brad had taken care of two of his request he took a break, and then went to the second place where he was to clean rubble. Now it seemed like a lot of rocks had fallen during the battle. It actually made a road leading off of the main path impassable. Now Brad got Blastoise, Rhydon, Tauros and Slowbro to move all of the rocks. To start off Rhydon would break the rocks with the drill. Then Blastoise would break it into finer pieces with hydro Pump. Then Slowbro would load Tauros up with its psychic powers. Then Tauros would haul them to the designated area. Now some local Geodude did not like the clearing of the place that they had come accustom of meeting. That is when Blastoise took down the Geodude. The Geodude where a minor in convince, and the work was done in no time. That is when a child came running from the road that had been blocked. The child was crying. Then the child said "Thank you for unblocking the road. I have not eaten anything but berries for a few days. I really want to see my mommy. She lives in Twiggs Town. We did not know what was happening that day, and we got separated when the rocks fell. Thank you for saving me." Brad then put into the Trainer Club in Twiggs Town. Normally they would go to the Trainer Club where the bulletin was picked up. So, getting this child back to the right town was a little bit of work, but Brad managed it. Then a teleport squad showed up and teleported the child back to the Trainer Club in Twiggs town to wait for his mother.

Finally, Brad went looking for the psychic Pokémon that were supposed to be found on this route. This was labeled as criminal activity on the likelihood that bounty hunters were behind the disappearance. Brad was walking along the route and saw a truck with a trailer behind it. Brad heard the Pokémon cry out "Mr. Mime Mr. Mime" and "Alakzam Alakzam". Brad decided that he better pay attention to this truck. That is when the two owners of the truck saw him. One of them said "Hey punk what are you doing? Are you trying to poach these Pokémon? That is our job go away." The second said "We are from the Bounty Hunter Squad hear our name and fear! We heard that all of the Pokémon in Manji were weak to psychic Pokémon, so we poached all of them out of this area. We will soon take over all of Manji, and the world." The man looked over at his female partner and said "Now that you have told him our plan, we got capture him, and take him back with us. We cannot have people knowing our plans you twit." Now the Bounty Hunter Squad was from Mersonia, so they had different Pokémon that Brad had never seen before. The Bounty Hunter Squad used a Houndour, a Larvitar, a Tryanitar, a Pupitar, and a Houndoom. Now Brad used his Blastoise, Exeggcute, Rhydon, and Slowbro. Now Brad thought that this battle was going to be an eventful one because he did not know their types.

Exeggcute started off with leech seed on Tryanitar which was immediately the biggest threat. Now Blastoise took out Larvitar, and Houndoom with a water gun attack. Now Pupitar used earthquake that shook up all the Pokémon that was fighting in the battle. Then Slowbro hit Tryanitar with water gun, and it got its energy sapped with leech seed. Tryanitar took a crunch attack out of Slowbro. Forcing Slowbro to go back to it Pokeball. Rhydon hit Tryanitar with stomping tantrum attack. This hit it off of his guard but was not enough to defeat him. Houndoom attacked Exeggcute but missed. The reason it missed was because Houndoom was hit with a hydro pump from Blastoise. Then Rhydon took Houndoom out with a horn drill attack. Pupitar then did another earthquake attack which did not hurt Brad's side as much as it did their own side. Then Tryanitar had its energy sapped by leech seed. Then Exeggcute sent out a barrage attack on Tryanitar, but it just kept fighting. It then got its energy sapped by leech seed. Rhydon hit Pupitar way in the air with horn drill. Then Blastoise hit it with hydro pump to knock out Pupitar. Then Tryanitar used earthquake and Rhydon fainted. After that Tryanitar had its energy sapped due to leech seed. Tryanitar followed that up with a crunch attack on Blastoise. This made Blastoise faint from the pain. Then Tryanitar fell down and fainted because it had its energy sapped by leech seed. That is when the criminals took back their Pokémon and escaped using their watches to call a Bounty Hunter Squad teleport squad. Then Brad opened up the truck. All the Pokémon came barreling out. One Pokémon ran into brad, and its hand fell into his bag pocket that had Pokeballs. The Mr. Mime was captured. When brad tried to release it to the wild because it had been through enough. It chose to stay with Brad and his team.

When Brad went back to the trainer Club he was sending his Pokémon back to the Professor. He then called the Professor and asked "Did you finish the breeding task that I asked you to do? I wanted you to breed three Eevee. So that I could evolve them. Then I wanted you to put them in the battle sim to get them some levels. Did you do that for me yet Professor Cypress?" Professor Cypress responded "Why yes, they actually just got out of the training simulator a moment ago. I believe that they decided on which of the eeveelutions that they want to be." Brad responded "Excellent send them to me. I am going to evolve them right now and get ready for tomorrow. It is the Eevee festival tomorrow, and there is a tournament that I plan to win." So, Brad got his original Eevee, and the three that the professor had breeded for him. He evolved the three Eevee into their perspective evolutions. The original decided to stay as an Eevee. While Brad was evolving Pokémon, he also evolved his Exeggcute to Exeggutor. Now Brad was excited about the prospect of fighting in the tournament and went to bed excited for the festival.

The Eevee Festival

Brad woke up with a smile on his face because it was the day of the Eevee festival. Now Brad got his four Pokémon Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, and Eevee. He headed to the festival right away. For every form of Eevee in Manji there was a different task that Brad could do for a prize. Many people were wearing an Eevee masks, and kimonos. That is when Brad started off his day by eating a candy apple, and popcorn. It was one of the biggest festival that Brad had ever seen. Now there was rides, games, and all kinds of fun. There was a tournament of thirty two trainers that a trainer could only use Eeveelutions. Now Brad decided to fight in the tournament against all of the world's best Eevee trainers.

First was the water race. The trainers would race their Vaporeon across the river. The trainers were also allowed to use their moves on the other Vaporeon. All thirty-two were in the water, but only the last sixteen would qualify for the next round of the tournament. When the pistol fired Vaporeon slowed down because all of the other Vaporeon were freezing each other with Aurora beam. Once the Pokémon started to disperse Vaporeon sped through the other Vaporeon that had been weighed down by ice because of aurora beam. Now Vaporeon swam as fast as it could. It would pass the other Vaporeon routinely. That is when a Tentacool attacked Vaporeon which was defeated by an aurora beam. This slowed Vaporeon down. Now Vaporeon made sixteenth place which meant that it barely made the next round.

Then it was Flareon's turn to compete. The completion was that the Flareon would run into a field of grass type Pokémon for every Pokémon that it defeated they would score points. The scores varied by how many times that Pokémon had evolved. They only had five minutes to get as many points as possible. Brad instantly saw Vieplume and it hit it with a mighty fire blast attack. That instantly scored Flareon three points. Then it used quick attack on a Gloom that had just finished stun spore on five other Flareon. Flareon followed up the quick attack with flamethrower. Then there was a Victrbell that a group of Flareon was trying to take down. Brad's Flareon weaseled in at the last moment and hit Victrbell with flamethrower. Knocking out Victrbell gave Brad seven points. Then there was a Tangela that was keeping all Pokémon at a distance from it with Power vine, and Flareon knocked it out with Fire Blast. This gave Brad twelve points. Apparently, they had given Tangela extra points for it training. Finally Flareon took down a Exeggutor that had thrown all of the other Flareon off it with Psychic attack. Brad was happy of his score of fifteen when the sound to stop was called. The top eight would move onto the Jolteon round. Brad got first in the grass type defeating game.

Now the top eight stood before a great board of squares. When one of the squares turned red then that is when the should shoot their electric attack. The one with the most points would win the game. Now Jolteon had accuracy that was better than the others. Jolteon also had speed. So every time a red block showed up Brad's Jolteon hit it before all of the others. It had been training with the legendary Pokémon on the simulation. His accuracy and speed where beyond the other Jolteon. It was a first for the Eevee festival a Jolteon had shutout the others in the competition Brad had won the Jolteon shocker game. The problem was that they had to do a do over because none of the others had points to decide the top four.

Now the top four was a Eevee race. It was a hurdle race were the contestant had to get flags for points. Brad's Eevee was fast. It jumped the hurdles, and ran fast. When they all made it to the first flag Brad's used double kick to knock one Eevee down. Then brad's Eevee kept running with the flag. The next flag was taken by the winner of the last Eevee festival. The last flag was taken by Brad's Eevee using take down on the last winners Eevee. Then Brad's Eevee took the flag, and ran across the finish line. Now Brad was going to battle with four Pokémon Eevee, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon against last year's winner.

Brad started off the battle with his Jolteon. Unfortunately for the other trainer they chose Vaporeon. Brad started the battle with a mighty thunder shock attack. Now Vaporeon hit back with a water gun attack. This shook Jolteon and Vaporeon used double kick on Jolteon. Jolteon pinned down Vaporeon and used thunderbolt to hurt Vaporeon. Then Vaporeon used quick attack on Jolteon. Then it started to rain on the battle because of Vaporeon using rain dance. Then Jolteon used thunder to knock out Vaporeon.

Then he used his Flareon. Brad used thunder since it was still raining. Jolteon got a massive amount of damage from the thunder attack. Now Flareon used fire blast on Jolteon, and Jolteon fainted. Then Brad chose his Vaporeon to fight for him. That is when the winner changed to Jolteon. Vaporeon used surf on the Jolteon, and that it hit hard but was still not very effective. Then Vaporeon turned around and hit Jolteon with an aurora beam. That froze Jolteon. Then Vaporeon used hydro pump on Jolteon, but Jolteon was still frozen. Then Vaporeon did it again to knock out Jolteon.

Then the winner of last year used his Eevee. Vaporeon used double kick to knock off Eevee. Eevee used take down to hurt Vaporeon. The take down had greater damage because it was a same type move as the Pokémon. That dealt great damage to Vaporeon and it fainted. That is when Jolteon came back out to hit Eevee with a double kick. Then Eevee hit Jolteon with a double kick. It was battle of blows seeing who could last longer. Jolteon hit Eevee with another double kick. It slowed Eevee down enough and Jolteon used thunder.

Then the other trainer brought out his Flareon. Brad kept out this Jolteon, and used thunderbolt to fight off Flareon. Flareon used fire blast to deal a great amount of damage to Jolteon. Then they started to use double kink on each other. That is when both Jolteon, and Flareon started to use a physical move. One of their most powerful moves. Jolteon used wild charge. While Flareon used fire blitz. They hit each other and both of the Pokémon fainted. Brad was declared the winner of the festival because he still had Eevee.

Brad was declared the winner. He was given a supply of Pokémon food for his Eevee which he promptly sent to Professor Cypress. This was because Professor Cypress took care of all of his Pokémon at his Ranch. Professor Cypress also took care of all the Pokémon of the other trainers. When they were in the storage system that was Professor Cypress's yard. Except of course Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, hypo, and anyone else in Brad's training program. That were stored in a more secure facility. It just sounded like a kind thing for Brad to do. Brad was extra proud that he won the Eevee fest. Brad also won a couple thousand Club dollars that were donated by the Trainer Club. At the end of the night they all met by the bonfire that Brad had helped make and had the best smores of his life so far.

Pokémon Contest

Brad saw that a Pokémon contest was happening at the Trainer Club today. Now Brad had never wanted to be a Pokémon Contest Star, but his Nidoqueen was known for being a dramatic battler. He thought that this would be a good opportunity for Nidoqueen to get out its artistic battle style in a fun manner. Now there was two rounds to every Pokémon Contest. The first round was about thrilling the judges with different moves that looked pretty. Then the second was about battling other trainers with pretty moves to score the highest number of points at a time. Now the trainer with the most points after two rounds would be the winner of the contest.

Now to introduce the Pokémon and trainers to the audience the trainers dressed up their Pokémon. Nidoqueen was dressed as a opera singer with a beautiful red skirt, and a long haired blonde wig. Everyone got a giggle out of this portion of the Pokémon contest. Even though this was not scored it was a important part. It was the first impression on a judge. A Doduo was wearing two ties, and one big pair of glasses that made it look quite nerdy. Then there was a Primeape with a championship belt. A Victrbell was wearing a pink vine dress. Poliwrath was in a unitard that made it look like a wrestler in the fighting league. All of the audience was instantly invested in the Pokémon contest.

Very quickly it was Brad's turn to present the part that Nidoqueen had practiced for the contest. Nidoqueen started by using earth power in a complete circle around the stadium. After that Nidoqueen jumped, and did a backflip. Nidoqueen landed on its legs, and used earthquake attack to shake up the earth power. This made a effect that looked like lava and earth spew out of the stage that Nidoqueen was on. Then Nidoqueen did a earth power and rock slide attack. They were very far from each other so the audience was confused. That is until Nidoqueen used superpower to make it look like Nidoqueen was fighting a volcano. The rocks that Nidoqueen flung started to look like a pyramid. That is when Nidoqueen broke all the rocks with superpower attack. Making a dust go across the stadium. When the dust cleared Nidoqueen had built a volcano from the rock and attacked it with earth power. This spewed more lava, dust and rock. When it all cleared Nidoqueen took a pose of strength. This scored Brad a thousand points for the first round of the contest.

Now the battle phase was to begin and Nidoqueen was up against a Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan started running towards Nidoqueen. Hitmonchan fell over though because Nidoqueen turned its back and used earth power on Hitmonchan. This lost Hitmonchan some points because the fall was not beautiful at all. Then Hitmonchan recovered with a Ice Punch in one hand and fire punch in the other. Hitmonchan hit the two fists on Nidoqueen the steam caused confused Nidoqueen and Hitmonchan used sky uppercut in the fog. Nidoqueen went flying it did not look good for Nidoqueen, but then Nidoqueen flipped backwards landed on the ground. When Nidoqueen landed on the ground earthquake attack happened and Hitmonchan fell to the ground. Then Nidoqueen appealed to the crowd and used earth power on Hitmonchan. Then the bell ringed and time was up the fight was over.

That is when the contest tournament was going to be announced. They were going to say the top three people in the contest. The people that had made it to the top three was Brad, Ashley with her Doduo, and Sarah with her Victrbell. When it was announced brad was ecstatic to be a part of the top three. He was brought back on stage. They then started to announce the winners of this contest. Brad was given third place in the contest. While Brad's hope did go through the roof when he was top three, he was proud to be a part of the top three in his first contest. After all of this Brad decided to go back to the Trainer Club and get some rest.

Sumo Mania

One this day Brad entered in an event called Sumo Mania. In this event the trainers would pick one fighting type Pokémon and fight them against the other trainers in a tournament style. The winner of the tournament would be named head sum for this tournament. Brad chose his quick attacker Hitmonchan for the tournament. Now the way that the positions for the tournament were to be decided was not pure luck like most tournaments. In this tournament the Pokémon would fight on a raised platform last one standing on the platform would win the right to be the first seat in the tournament.

When the bell rang all sixteen Pokémon were standing on the platform. Hitmonchan used sky upper cut on a Machop. Machop was the first to be thrown off the platform. Then a Mankey used low kick on Hitmonchan which made it almost follow the Machop. The Mankey was met with a thunder punch. The thunder punch was shocking development and made Mankey to stand completely still for a strange top Pokémon to knock him off. The top Pokémon came out with a cry "Hitmontop." Then a flying bug Pokémon came and got the Hitmontop by the leg and threw him out of bounds. When this Pokémon threw Hitmontop out it celebrated by saying its name "Heracross." Then the Heracross came towards Hitmonchan but got hit with a fire punch instead. The fire punch did great damage towards the Heracross. Then Hitmonchan used Ice punch to freeze the Heracross solid. It was promptly thrown out of the ring after that. When that happened, a foot flew over Hitmonchan. It was a Hitmonlee trying to get an attack on Hitmonchan. Instead of hurting Hitmonchan the Hitmonlee went flying and landed outside of the ring. A crisp smell of bacon happened when Hitmonchan nailed a Primeape in the nose. It was then that a Mankey used vital throw on the Primeape to knock it out. Then a Poliwrath picked up that Mankey and threw it out. Poliwrath was very close to the edge, and Hitmonchan used thunder punch on Poliwrath to push it over. The trainer looked familiar to Brad. It was a kid named Tyrus that never seemed very nice every time that Brad had met him. When his Poliwrath was pushed over the edge Tyrus screamed "Of all the dirty tricks. You always to be at my greatest failures. I am going to end you, Brad." It was decided Brad would take first place in the tournament and fight sixteenth place. Which happened to be the Machop that Brad had already taken out.

The first round of the tournament was Machop versus Hitmonchan. Now the met in the middle of a circle and touched hands or gloves in Hitmonchan's case. Machop starts off with a low sweep that catches Hitmonchan off guard. Hitmonchan recovers quickly and then used thunder punch to slow Machop down. Then Hitmonchan hit a sky uppercut on Machop due to the slow down time of the electric attack. Now Machop grabbed the feet of Hitmonchan and used seismic toss. Fortunately for Brad this was not a match like the last one but a knockout fight. Therefore, the attack did not do very much damage. Machop got what looked like boxing gloves made out of ice when Hitmonchan got an ice punch attack on both of his hands. This slowed down Machop because of the great weight of his hands. This is when Hitmonchan got multiple sky uppercut attacks on Machop. Machop was not having it. Machop raised its two frozen hands to fight. The Machop was shaking and was clearly not balanced. Then Machop fell down to be knocked out of the battle because the hands were of such great weight.

Brad was up against the man with the Heracross next. The man said "hey you look familiar. OH you are the one the boss has been talking about. You have really been messing up our operations to expand into Manji. Another guy and I are in this tournament to get our Pokémon stronger so that we can serve The Table much better. Our direct boss though does not like you or your ugly face. So we are going to destroy you here, and then beat you out back to take you to the boss as well."

Then the man used his Heracross to fight the battle. Brad used his Hitmonchan. The Heracross started off the battle with a Megahorn attack. Hitmonchan stopped the attack with a fire punch that looked like a hammer motion. This move knocked Heracross to the ground. That is when Hitmonchan got on top of Heracross. Hitmonchan got fire punch after fire punch on Heracross. Then Heracross started to flap its wings and started to fly with Hitmonchan surfing on its back. Heracross flew high in the sky grabbed the legs of Heracross and flung it to the ground with seismic toss. Then Heracross followed the attack up with a Megahorn attack directly on the chest of Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan took the opportunity of Heracross being close to hit it with a hard fire punch. Heracross used take down on Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan countered with a sky uppercut. Sky uppercut was then countered with a counter move that did substantial damage to Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan then hit Heracross with fire punch once more. Then Heracross used retaliate to attack Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan started to shake all over. Hitmonchan felt weak in the knees, and its arms were growing heavy. Heracross was close enough for one last fire punch. This knocked out Heracross and gave Brad the win. After the battle Brad told the official and both of the men from the Bounty Hunter Squad were sent to jail.

The next trainer yelled with joy before the first match. "I was hoping that I would have a rematch with you! I am not going to lose this time I am the master of fighting type Pokémon don't forget it." Brad was excited to fight Kicken one more time in a way that was not forcing him to use super effective Pokémon to beat her. "You have not got your psychic Pokémon or your flying types. This is going to be just a good old fighting type match. A whole bunch big Pokémon slapping each other around." Said Kicken. Brad responded "Hey I am excited to beat you again Kicken. Do not forget that I am the trainer of legend. I was going easy on you because I knew you could not beat my Mewtwo." Kicken sighed and rolled her eyes. She was out talked.

Kicken used her Hitmonlee to fight the tournament. Brad of course used his Hitmonchan. Kicken started the battle off with Hitmonlee using mind reader. This let Hitmonlee skillfully dodge the sky uppercut that Hitmonchan tried. Then Hitmonlee threw itself forward with a high jump kick that landed on Hitmonchan. Once it landed and Hitmonlee was back on it feet Hitmonchan used sky uppercut. This made Hitmonlee stretch it legs all the way up to make Hitmonlee hit the roof. That is when Hitmonchan froze the feet of Hitmonlee with ice punch. The Hitmonlee plunged towards the ground and used headbutt on Hitmonchan. This made Hitmonchan fall down until the count of nine. Hitmonchan got back up though. Then ran from Hitmonlee at brad's order. Then Hitmonlee tried to make up the distance with its spring-like legs. Hitmonchan dodged every rolling kick attack. Hitmonlee was quickly tiring out because of the two big pieces of ice on its feet. That is when Hitmonchan quickly ran it and hit Hitmonlee with another sky uppercut to the roof. Its feet were of course planted on the ground. While Hitmonlee hit its head on the roof. Hitmonchan knew what was coming so instead of Hitmonchan getting hit with a headbutt. Hitmonlee was demolished by a thunder punch attack. This sent Hitmonlee flying to the left of the arena and it was sprawled out for a distance of almost five feet. It was clear that Hitmonlee was not getting back up. That is when Hitmonchan raised its gloves above it head to boast of its victory. Kicken said "I love to talk some trash but that was amazing good job on defeating me with a fighting type Pokémon. You really raise a fighting type champion with that Hitmonchan. I think I need to rush this Hitmonchan to the healing bay, and maybe something a little more after that." Brad responded "I am sorry for hurting Hitmonlee that bad. I was only trying to win the match. Please take my most sincere apology. I hope that we can battle again sometime Kicken. I would love to get my Pokémon to learn how to really fight from a master such as yourself. Thank you for the battle and again sorry."

The last trainer came up to the arena after healing their Pokémon. "Finally, I get to beat the crap out of one of your Pokémon. I am going to make sure that this battle is not even close. Do you understand me, Brad? I do not like you! You are the first loss that I ever had in my Pokémon journey. It was right after I had stolen my Lickitung for its Ditto mother. I would have never had chosen such an ugly, fat, loser that can't even keep its ugly tongue in its mouth. I declare that one day I will beat you, and I will do anything that is necessary to poison your chances to get to the Pokémon league. That all starts today when I win the points to become Head Trainer to keep it from you. I know you have not seen me in a long time. I actually worked my way up to the top one hundred trainers in the trainer club. Just so that you will have to fight me. I am going to defeat you, and make it look like a massacre." Said Tyrus. Brad responded "I am not sure why you are so mad. It was only one match. Didn't you also like steal a Pokémon egg or something from the Pokémon Day Care center. I don't even know you. Oh yeah you were not even good enough to steal the egg that day. Timmy had just hidden it. Who even are you?"

That is when Tyrus used Poliwrath, and Brad used Hitmonchan. Brad knew that he could get the advantage on Poliwrath with every ice punch, and thunder punch that was landed. The first thing that happened was that Poliwrath grabbed the legs of Hitmonchan and threw over it over its shoulders. This move was called submission. With the momentum of being thrown over Poliwrath's shoulders Hitmonchan hit Poliwrath with a thunder punch on the back. This made Poliwrath loose its grip, and Hitmonchan got free. Hitmonchan got two more thunder punches to the back of Poliwrath. Poliwrath turns around quickly and then does body slam on Hitmonchan. Then the two were looking at each other with their fist at the ready. That is when Poliwrath lands a dynamic punch attack. Hitmonchan was confused and itself in the face twice before Poliwrath could attack again. This time despite the close quarters that the Pokémon were in Poliwrath missed dynamic punch. Hitmonchan then snapped out of confusion, and struck Poliwrath with a sky uppercut. This attack hit right in the middle of Poliwrath's swirl. This lifted Poliwrath off the ground about two feet. This caught Poliwrath off guard which allowed Hitmonchan to freeze the stomach of the Poliwrath with Ice punch. Then Hitmonchan bopped Poliwrath on the top of the head with a. thunder punch. Then Poliwrath raised its attack with a belly drum attack which hurt Poliwrath but gave Poliwrath enhanced strength. Then Poliwrath went for headbutt, but Hitmonchan knocked Poliwrath down with thunder punch. Poliwrath used belly drum again to enhance its attack but hurt Poliwrath. This when Poliwrath fell down and was out of the battle because of Tyrus's arrogance.

Tyrus screamed. "Impossible I have not stopped training Poliwrath for weeks. I knew that you would take the opportunity to fight in Sumo Mania. I earned my rank to get up this high. You got lucky. You are not going to win next time. I live to demolish your future. Every turn you make. Every breath you take I will be there to destroy you. Just like you did to my father. You defeated his organization. I may have hated Team Ancient in all that they stood for but you threw my dad into jail. He is going to stand trail. No jury will not throw him into prison for what he did in Team Ancient. My dad is going to prison because of you. You are the mud between my feet. I am going destroy you and dance on your grave. My father was Morrim of Team Ancient. What he was doing was wrong, but I do not care I was trained to steal from him. He taught me everything that I know about Pokémon. I will get my vengeance."

Brad responded "You are the kid of Morrim. Well that is something. You father was completely and total evil. If you want to fight me because of what happened to your dad. Well go ahead. No one will stand in my way to becoming the champion of Manji and the Head Trainer of the Trainer Club in Manji. I will also be catching every single Manji Pokémon species. You can just try to stop me from doing that as well if you would like to try. I burn with passion for Pokémon, and I love justice nothing can stop me from becoming the Champion and Head Trainer. That Battle was not luck. It was skill and love for Pokémon. I love all the Pokémon that I catch. Even the ones that I am stuck sending to Professor Cypress and his raising for the most part. Well maybe we should see how much more work I will have to put into catch up with you in the Trainer Club.

Scott said "Thank you for every one that competed in the tournament. The clear winner is Brad. You have moved up in the Trainer Club rankings from nine hundred forty-five to seven hundred fifty six. Brad has also won ten thousand Trainer Club dollars. Brad is one of your child prodigy's at only the age of ten he has moved up in the ranks very quickly. You should keep this one on your radar folks."

Then the proceeds where done, and Brad realized that he got a new stalker rival. Michael, and Hayden showed up and told Brad that they had watched the battles. "Did you hear the speech after the last fight? Apparently, that kid that started around the same time that we did is Morrim's son. He wants to get back at me for sending his dad to prison." Brad said. Then Michael said "We heard and we know that we are going to be prepared for the fact that he will eventually come after us. Therefore we are going to beef up our teams to get the advantage on him." Hayden said " I think that guy is going to be hard for us to defeat, but we will train hard." Brad responded "I think that the bigger issue is that Bounty Hunter Squad. They have been infiltrating the Manji region from the Mersonia region. The Mersonia region is directly south of here. That might be the next big problem that we might face." Hayden said "Stay ever vigilant, and we will defeat anything that comes our way. The three of us and Kimber can take on any evil team. Brad decided that it was time to head on after his victory to Echols City.
