The Road to Echols City

Brad took a myriad of different task for the day od travel. It was always more fun and helpful to the community. He got one that was a rescue, one to do with the environment, and one to do with some criminals that had been spotted. Brad was going to do his part on his way to Echols City. Now Brad brought along some of his water Pokémon because there was a great river that came from the top of the mountain to the ocean on the other side of the route. Now Brad had the desire to catch many water Pokémon because that was one area that Brad had a lot of Pokémon left to get.

Now Brad went to the route and started by finding a kid that got lost in the woods near the river. Brad saw that the kid was near the river he was looking at the Pokémon in the river. That is when a particularly nasty school of Tentacruel and Tentacool passed by the kid and pushed him in. When Brad saw this that is when Brad knew that this was the kid that he was supposed to be saved. Brad chose his Raichu to take care of the Tentacool and Tentacruel. While Brad sent out Lapras to save the kid from drowning. Lapras swam out in the river and picked the kid up with its mouth and put it on his back. Then Raichu used thunderbolt on the Tentacruel first. That was quickly handled because of the type advantage. Then Raichu took out the Tentacool. Brad caught all of the Tentacruel and the Tentacool from the river so that they would not try to drown little kids anymore. This truly excited Brad because that was new find in a Pokédex that was getting ever fuller by the day. Brad had got one hundred and thirty-two Pokémon from the Manji region strictly speaking there was only one hundred fifty one Pokémon in Manji for Brad to catch. That is if you are not considering Mersonia. Mersonia had over hundred different kinds of Pokémon. Brad thought that might be where he wanted to go after winning the championship, becoming the Head trainer, and completing the Pokédex.

Now the next task on Brad's list of things to do toady was to clear some fallen trees by the river. Brad found the location of the fallen trees. That is when Brad brought out his Scyther that he barely got to see. Scyther had a special love for chopping wood. Then Raichu put the wood on the back of Tauros to get it into one general location. After all the wood was in the pile Brad used his Charizard to burn the pile. The smell attracted with wild Pokémon. That is when a Moltres came down from the skies. Then Brad sent his Lapras out to fight Moltres. When Moltres got close to the ground, and then Lapras hit it with surf. When the Moltres fell to the ground Brad realized that it was just a Ditto that had transformed into a Moltres. Then two Nidorino and two Nidorina came to the fire trying to put it out. Lapras then used Ice beam to take out all four of those Pokémon. Then a mother Kingler, and a baby Krabby come up to the fire tp put it out. They put out the fire but Brad started a battle with them. Raichu fired his thunder bolt at the pair. Now it was hard for Raichu to hit Kingler, and Krabby were the color of the mud around the river. Now Raichu used quick attack to get close to them, and Raichu used thunder to knock both of them out. Then Brad caught the shiny Kingler and Krabby.

Then Brad used Lapras to get across the river. It seemed like the Pokémon wanted Brad to swim in the river. A Goldeen, and a Seaking attacked Lapras with their horn. Brad sped up to get passed the two Pokémon that were attacking. Then Lapras turned around and shot thunder bolt at the two Pokémon. After that they were pretty much fried to defeat. So Brad captured those two as well. Now it seemed like many more Pokémon were attacking Brad at this time. A Poliwhirl climbed up on Lapras, and Brad had to use Raichu to fight it off. Brad went down the river to the ocean. Brad thought that it might be easier, and that less Pokémon would attack them in the ocean. This was not true because a Horsea, and a Seadra attacked the Lapras. It started of with smoke screen so that Lapras could not see the pair. Brad made a big risk and dropped Raichu in the water. The thunder attack hit Lapras, Brad, Horsea, and Seadra. Fortunately for Brad, it did not hurt him that bad. Just a little jolt since Lapras took the blunt of the shock. The Horsea and Seadra came to the top of the water in a knocked-out state. Brad caught both the Horsea and the Seadra. Then Brad finally made it to the beach on the other side of the river. Now the day that Brad was having was extremely lucky day because he had officially caught every water Pokémon in Manji.

Then Brad saw on the beach a girl that was catching Horsea and Seadra. It was clear that the shocking net that she was using was hurting the Pokémon that she was catching. After that she would drag the catch in and throw them in her truck that did not have enough water. Brad screamed "What are you doing to those Pokémon." She responded "I am apart of the Bounty Hunter Squad. We use the smokescreen from these Pokémon to make smoke balls to make a quick retreat. These Pokémon will get me moved to a ranking that is right below the Table. Do you know how hard I have worked for this." The Bounty Hunter used her Politoed to fight Brad. Then Brad used his Raichu to use thunder on the Pokémon because it started to rain when Politoed came out. The Bounty Hunter was furious that did not work with minimum effort that she put into the battle. Then she used Corsola to use ancient power on Raichu which boosted all of Corsola's stats. Then Raichu used thunder again. Which knocked out the Corsola. The Bounty Hunter was not happy, but that did not matter when the teleport squad grabbed her, and teleported her to Echols City. Then Brad grabbed the truck that had all of the Horsea and Seadra in it and backed it up to the tip of the beach. Almost getting the truck stuck multiple times. He also almost went into the ocean with the vehicle but he got lucky by not doing that. Finally he let the special tailgate down to release all of the Pokémon that were in the tailgate. If a Pokémon got stuck on the beach Brad threw it in the ocean and all the Pokémon were saved.

After a long day of travel Brad had almost made it to Echols City. That is when he saw a familiar boy. With a black vest, black pants, a white button-down shirt, and a blue cape. There was Tyrus who did not look so happy to see Brad. Tyrus laughed and said "Brad you are going to have a six-on-six battle with me if you like it or not. I blocked your way with my Alakzam so there is no hope for escape but through me." Brad looked at Tyrus with disdain. Then Brad said

"I guess I will battle you if that is what you want."

Brad chose to start this battle with his Charizard. Tyrus chose to start the battle with his Dragonite. They both ascended to great heights to fight the battle. Now Charizard got the first attack with a dragon claw attack. Then Dragonite started to use outrage because Brad had gotten the first hit of the battle. Charizard used this to its advantage by baking off and dodging when Dragonite got close. Then Dragonite was confused. So Charizard got close and hit Dragonite with a barrage of dragon claw. That is when Dragonite cracked off a thunderbolt. After that Charizard used one more dragon claw. That is when both Pokémon started to fall, and both of them were knocked out.

Then Tyrus used Aerodactyl, and Brad used Lapras. Brad started of the battle with a ice beam. That is when Aerodactyl started to use ancient power over and over. This was making the skills of the Aerodactyl get better and better. Aerodactyl started to speed around like a bullet. Now Lapras once got great accuracy training. It did not miss the ice beam attacks on Aerodactyl. Unfortunately, Aerodactyl's defense was very high. Lapras hit ice beam on Aerodactyl with dead accuracy, and great speed. Now Aerodactyl landed a stone edge on Lapras and it was close to fainting. Aerodactyl got very low to the ground, and that was when Lapras hit Aerodactyl with surf. Aerodactyl's wings were open and got a sail full of water. This caused Aerodactyl wot be unable to battle. This greatly frustrated Tyrus.

Tyrus then called upon his Venasaur, and Brad hit it with ice beam attack. With one Razor leaf attack Lapras was brought down. Brad brought out his Scyther that should be super effective against Venasaur. Scyther used fury cutter. While Venasaur used razor leaf. This did not do much damage at all. Then Scyther used fury cutter on the leg of Venasaur. Then Scyther would keep going around Venasaur for four fury cutter around Venasaur. Then the attacks gradually started getting more powerful because of the nature of fury cutter. Every now and then Venasaur would hit Scyther with a move, but it did not do much damage. Then Venasaur fell and was knocked out.

Tyrus started to use Alakzam. "I have trained this Pokémon since I stole it as a Abra. I know that you are going to lose to my Alakzam." That is when Scyther used fury cutter on Alakzam. Now a little known weakness of psychic types is bug types. So this was a critical hit, that had been charged from the last fight, and super effective. Which made Alakzam faint from a single attack.

Then Tyrus used his Poliwrath. It started to rain as soon as it came out. Brad called back Scyther because it had defeated two really strong opponents. That is when Raichu came for Brad's team. Raichu used thunder and a crack of lighting came down to shock Poliwrath. Poliwrath fell to his knees, and then Raichu did it again directly on Poliwrath's back. Poliwrath caught Raichu by the tail. Then Poliwrath used submission on Raichu. Then came another crack of thunder attack. Then Poliwrath used ice punch on the tail of Raichu. Raichu's tail froze solid. The frozen tail was broken over the head of Poliwrath. Then Raichu shocked Poliwrath with yet another thunder attack. Then Poliwrath ran towards Raichu. It leaped in the air to hit Raichu with a dynamic punch. Now as many of you can imagine it was just to obvious. That is when Poliwrath was about to collapse. That is when Raichu used thunder again. Poliwrath was knocked out.

Finally Tyrus used his Lickitung. Tyrus then screamed "I hate this Pokémon. The beating that you are about to give it is what it deserves for being that ugly. Just look at that tongue." Then Lickitung started to use rollout, but Tauros used headbutt to hit back. Then Tauros used iron head on Lickitung. Then Lickitung used lick attack, but it was not effective because it was a ghost move on a normal type. Then Tauros used Zen headbutt. Lickitung got it tongue around Tauros body. Then Tauros used take down heading straight towards Lickitung. This knocked out Lickitung.

"I hate to say this, but you got lucky again. I will defeat you and bring honor back to my family name. I will be the champion that my father is never going to be. I will be the very best. I will defeat you! For now, though feel free to go to Echols City." Said Tyrus. Without responding Brad tiredly walked to the Trainer Club, and got a well-deserved night sleep.

The Nightmare City

Now once Brad finally got to sleep at the Trainer Club his head was filled with nightmares. When he finally got up in the morning he saw Michael, Hayden, and Kimber. They had also had nightmares that night. It seemed that it was a coincidence, but then Brad saw two big red eyes. Then Brad saw a tongue coming out of the wall. It felt like it was below freezing in the middle of the Trainer Club. Brad had a sneaking suspicion that this was a sort of sabotage. Now Brad called the Officer in this town to tell him and his friends got attacked by a Gengar. Now the officer did not believe Brad in his entirety because he was just a kid. He thought that he should at least try to figure out if it was happening. He was not doing anything else that day, and trying to help kids with a Gengar seemed to be more fun than sitting around the station.

Now the officer started with trying to bait the Gengar out. They did d this by sending Brad back to bed. Once Brad had fallen asleep Gengar came out of the floor face first. That is when Brad started to twitch, and it was clear that he was having a bad dream. The officer bust into the room and used his Growlithe to bite the Gengar. It was clear that the Gengar was trying to get out of the situation. It was also clear that Gengar would be caught. The officer threw a Pokeball at the Gengar. It was clear that the Gengar was linked to a trainer.

The officer and the kids did the next logical thing after the Gengar escaped. The group went to Venomia the gym leader of the Echols City Gym. Venomia said "It is nice to meet you. I am a poison type gym leader. I have a Gengar myself. I think that I could help you track the Gengar that is following you." That is when the same Gengar came out of its Pokeball. The Officer did not seem to notice that it was the same Gengar. Then Venomia told Hayden and Michael to go to sleep. When they were asleep, they were attacked by another Gengar. It seemed to be silly how many Gengar there were at this point.

Then the group started to follow the Gengar to see where it would go. Now it eventually went to a trainer. The trainer was in a white button down, a black vest, a pair of black pants, and a blue cape. Tyrus was to blame for getting the Gengar after all. "Now that would have been a excellent plan to annoy Brad and his pompous friends but I did not do it." Said Tyrus. Then Venomia said "My Gengar does not lie. It was you that has been torturing the young trainer Brad." Tyrus refused to accept this "I do not even own a Gengar. I would like one. This is something that I would do. I do not own a Gengar though so this could not be me." Venomia said "It is clear that this Gengar is relying on you as its trainer. Do not play stupid with me." That is when Tyrus got a scolding for using his Pokémon for evil from the officer, and was let go. Brad did not believe Venomia for a second though because the Gengar was her Pokémon.

Echols City Gym Battle

Brad got to the gym that day and said "I know that it was you. Why would you want to torture me? Why would you do this to me?" Venomia said "I use my Gengar to get intel on my enemies. I am usually the gym that everyone gives up on the journey on because of that. I know your dreams. I know that you have been worried about the Bounty Hunter Squad. I know that you have been tormented by the kid that I framed. Not many go to the police when they have nightmares. You are a wise kid. I hope this battle will be more entertaining then the last couple." Brad was violently tormented by the fact that she had entered his dreams. Venomia said "We will now battle a six on six. We will fight a one-on-one battle whoever wins the battle wins a point. You must switch out for every round. In this battle I will display how every Pokémon is different and should be battled with different. Are you ready for the battle?"

She started off with a Gengar. Brad started off with his Ratticate. Now it was a strange Pokémon to start off with for Brad, but Ratticate would not get hit by Ghost type moves. Now Ratticate used crunch attack on Gengar. Gengar used toxic on Ratticate that would slowly wear down Ratticate. Then Gengar used curse upon itself to constantly wear down Ratticate for even more damage. This hurt Ratticate for every move that it made. Gengar kept being bit by a crunch attack. Gengar would go a distance a way and start to taunt the Gengar. Gengar pulled its eyelid down, and stuck its tongue out at Ratticate. Ratticate started to pound away with crunch attack. This was a super effective move that should have taken Gengar out. That is when Ratticate fell down and was knocked out due to the poison and curse moves. Gengar started to spank itself to make fun of Brad for losing the point. Venomia said "Are you sure that you do not want to give up now? You can't even beat my Gengar with super effective attacks. Maybe you should have brought a different Pokémon to beat a poison type master."

That is when Brad used his Nidoqueen, and she used her Nidoking. "Now these Pokémon are completely different. Gengar was going to stay out of the way and let you whittle yourself down. With Nidoking you got to fight a head on battle. That is when the Nidoking rushed towards Nidoqueen that was not looking at Nidoking. That is when Nidoqueen raised her hands. Then she dropped her hands for a mighty Earth Power attack that tripped Nidoking. Nidoking hit the ground with a great thud. Nidoqueen did a backflip onto Nidoking. Nidoking then got up and hit Nidoqueen with a massive Megahorn attack. Then Nidoqueen raised her hands and dropped them again to hit Nidoking with an earth power attack. Then Nidoking was very unstable and Nidoqueen knocked Nidoking down with a take down attack. Nidoking was then defeated to tie the score at one. "How did you defeat me? I am the poison type master! How did you defeat me even with the knowledge that I gained!"

Then Venomia used Beedrill for the next round of the fight. Then Brad used Charizard for the battle. Beedrill started the battle off with a Twineedle on Charizard. Beedrill got to close to Charizard and Beedrill took massive damage from a fire blast attack. Then Charizard used the time that Beedrill was down to hit it again with a wing attack. Beedrill raised its head then used toxic on Charizard. Charizard retorted back with a fire blast attack that made the sun look like a ember. It was that made the light go out of the eyes of Beedrill. That made Brad get ahead of Venomia by a single point. Venomia said "How have you pulled ahead of me. I hate losing! I will not be defeated by the likes of some kid. You almost got me taken in for messing with you. I framed that kid so that I would not go to jail. I am going to make sure that you do not make it to the next gym. I do not like you. I am a toxic gym leader. I want to teach children that Pokémon have their different uses. I want to teach them that every Pokémon has a different way to battle. I do not like these kids that come around here thinking they are entitled to a win."

Now Venomia used Muk for this battle. Brad used Rhydon to fight the fourth round of the battle. Rhydon charged its opponent with a drill run attack. Muk used toxic on Rhydon to gradually hurt it. Then Muk used minimize to make it harder to hit. Then Rhydon missed another drill run attack. That is when Rhydon started to be hit with a mud shot attack from a small Muk. Then the earth started to shake and the small Muk started to expand because of Rhydon's earthquake attack. That is when Muk swallowed Rhydon after another dril run attack. From the inside of Muk Rhydon kept using drill run from side to side. Then Rhydon used earthquake from inside of Muk. This knocked out Muk of the battle. Now Venomia knew that she had lost because she could not get enough points to win. Brad still needed one more point so that they would not tie.

Then Venomia used Weezing for the fifth battle. Then Brad used Dugtrio. The first thing that happened was Dugtrio dug a tunnel under the ground. It was in the split second that Brad needed. Weezing was using the move explosion. It was clear that Venomia was not happy with how the battle turned out, and she intended to tie Brad's Pokémon for this round with that move. It did not work because of the hole that Dugtrio dug. "Ugh I guess you win. I do not like giving out my pride, and honor via this badge. Here it is the Silent Badge. You get it like how poison is the silent killer? Well you have won the battle I guess I better get to training my Gengar not to get caught." Then the officer came into the room. "Hey I heard that you were the one using the Gengar. That kid swore that he did not have a Gengar. That was actually the truth. Why Would you do this to kids Venomia. You do not like to hand out badges then you should not be a gym leader. Now I will be taking you in for questioning. How many children have you done this to? How many adults have you done this to? We are going to get the story behind this all. I hope you like sitting in a cell because you are going to do a lot of it."

Battle of the Gridiron

Now Brad decided that he wanted to play some Gridiron today with his Pokémon. The tournament was going on at the Trainer Club today. Michael, Hayden, Kimber and Brad all were in the tournament. Brad had just got a new quarterback that he was excited to use. The tournament was going to be played to twenty one points.

The first matchup was Brad versus Hayden. Hayden's team was Snorlax, Venasaur, Arcanine, Blastoise, and Gengar. It was clear that he was planning on running the ball as fast as he could. Brad tried out his new quarterback Mr. Mime. The other Pokémon on his team Dragonite, Charizard, Poliwrath, and Gengar. Before the game began the coin was flipped and Brad was chosen to start with the ball.

Brad started the drive with Mr. Mime miming putting the ball into a canon. Charizard was open and Mr. Mime shot the canon towards Dragonite. Dragonite got twenty yard when Venasaur wrapped the vine around its leg, and dragged it down to the ground. The next time Mr. mime handed the ball off to Poliwrath. Poliwrath jumped over Venasaur. Then Poliwrath threw Arcanine towards the ground when it got close to stopping it with Wild Charge. Miraculously Snorlax got in front of Poliwrath that tackled Poliwrath. That led Brad's team to be on third down. Then Mr. Mime threw the ball to Brad's Gengar, but Hayden's Gengar caught it and ran the ball thirty yards back. The first play that Hayden ran was a run with his Arcanine. Poliwrath caught up with Arcanine and slapped the ball out of its teeth and recovered the ball. Mr. Mime handed the ball to Charizard that used flamethrower when Gengar got near it. This made Brad score the first touchdown of the game. This made the score seven to zero for Brad.

Then Hayden got the ball back for the second time. Blastoise shot the ball with its canon. It went all the way across the field to Snorlax. Snorlax started to run with the ball. Most Pokémon could not stop a running Snorlax. That is when Poliwrath grabbed Snorlax and used submission to tackle the Pokémon. Then Hayden shot the ball with the Blastoise canons to Gengar, but it was the wrong Gengar. Brad's Gengar ran the ball back towards its goal. Brad's Gengar was on the one yard line when Hayden's Gengar caught up and slapped the ball out of Brad's Gengar's hands. That is when Hayden's Gengar started taking the ball the other way. Hayden's Gengar got hit with a outstanding outrage from Brad's Dragonite. Now Gengar fell to the ground but not before fumbling the football for the third turnover of the play. Dragonite started to fly towards Brad's goal. It was finally stopped when Arcanine used Crunch on Dragonite to slow it down and get Dragonite to the ground. The next play was quite simple Mr. Mime put the ball into its canon, and shot it to Charizard for a touchdown. That made the score fourteen to zero.

Hayden lined up for the next drive. Blastoise shot his canon at Arcanine this time. Arcanine caught the ball in it mouth. Once the ball was firmly in its mouth started to use Wild Charge. This prevented Poliwrath and Charizard from stopping Arcanine from tackling Arcanine. That is when Dragonite swooped in and used outrage to stop it from scoring a touchdown. Then After that Blastoise shot the ball to Hayden's Gengar which caught the ball. Started to run it in, and then fumbled the ball without any help from another Pokémon. Dragonite got the ball and since the fumble was unexpected won the game for Brad. The score was twenty one to zero Brad.

The next tournament game of Gridiron was against Kimber. Kimber's team consisted of Alakzam, Rhydon, Persian, Flareon, and Dodrio. The coin was flipped, and Kimber was the first on offense. This game was going to be a good game. Kimber was going to use Alakzam as her quarterback. This mean that the psychic Pokémon were going to be quarterback. Which seemed like the best type to be for their heightened IQ.

The first play was Alakzam throwing to Dodrio. Dodrio caught the ball with its middle head. Then it started to run with incredible speed. Dragonite and Charizard caught up with the Dodrio. Dodrio pecked at both of them, but eventually Dodrio was brought down. Then Alakzam handed the ball off to Rhydon. Then was immediately stopped by Poliwrath. Poliwrath used submission on Rhydon. Then Alakzam thew the ball to Flareon. Flareon ran with a fire blitz attack. Charizard then threw Flareon with seismic toss which stopped the play. For the final play of the drive Kimber was about a yard from the goal. Rhydon was given the ball by Alakzam. Gengar grabbed Rhydon flew him up into the air. Then threw him down on the ground. Rhydon did not score so Brad got the ball. Now Mr. Mime put the ball into a canon, but before it could be shot Mr. Mime was tackled. Mr. Mime got back up shot the ball to Dragonite and took it all the way back for a touchdown. The robotic referee checked the footage to see who scored on this play. Since Mr. Mime was not carrying the ball, it was decided the Brad scored, and Kimber did not get the safety. The score was now seven to zero in favor of Brad.

Now Kimber got Alakzam to throw the ball to Persian. With its limber movements Persian was running fast. If any Pokémon got close Persian would pay them off with a Pay Day attack. Then Poliwrath grabbed the back legs of Persian and threw them over it head. Which stopped the play. Then Alakzam did not have anyone to throw to for the next play and ran the ball itself. It was a wise move. With its levitation Alakzam flew thought defense with a swift flight. Now Dragonite hit Alakzam with an outrage attack. Which made the play cease. Alakzam then gave the ball to Rhydon to run with it. Gengar got in front of Rhydon. Then Gengar got hit hard by a drill run attack from Rhydon. Charizard got right behind Rhydon. Charizard used flamethrower to weaken Rhydon. Then Rhydon was slowing down, but Charizard used fire blast to get Rhydon to fall down, but Rhydon fell into the endzone. Which tied the game up.

Brad's team started on offense this time Brad got Mr. Mime to throw the ball to Charizard. Then Kimber's Dodrio ran really fast and jumped on top of Charizard's back and started to peck at Charizard's head. Persian then shot Charizard with pay day. Alakzam levitated up to Charizard and held down Charizard with all three Pokémon weighing down Charizard fell to the ground ending the play. Then Mr. Mime put the ball into mime canon and shot the ball to Dragonite. Now Alakzam was the first to try and stop Dragonite, but Charizard blocked it with Dragon Claw. The Rhyhorn jumped and tried to grab Dragonite's tail that is when Poliwrath put it into a submission attack. Then Flareon started to ride Dodrio. They both jumped into the air to stop Dragonite. Then Charizard put air into its wings to slow it down to get closer to Dragonite. Then Charizard grabbed Dodrio with one hand, and the Flareon with the other. Then threw them down with a dragon claw. Then Dragonite crossed the endzone and scored a touchdown. The score was not fourteen to seven in favor of Brad.

Then Brad was on defense, and Poliwrath made it to Alakzam before it could throw the ball. This led to the sack of Alakzam which meant that Kimber wasted a down. Then Alakzam threw the ball to Flareon that got a good running start. It was eventually taken down by tripping on its own teammate, Rhydon's foot. Then it was third play of the drive, and Alakzam threw the ball to Dodrio. Gengar got out in front out of Dodrio, but Dodrio ran right through Gengar. Then Poliwrath started to attack the Dodrio but only got peck marks for it. Then Dragonite got one head, and Charizard got the other head. Then Mr. Mime used confusion on Dodrio. The confusion caused Dodrio to fumble the ball, and it was picked up by Poliwrath. Poliwrath used hydro pump to hurdle over Rhydon. Persian started to sprint towards Poliwrath and used multiple pay day attacks. This did not hurt Persian that much because it was a normal attack. Poliwrath scored the touchdown to make the match twenty-one to seven Brad won the game.

Now the final part of the tournament was against Tyrus. Now Brad was expecting this because Tyrus has declared that he would stop Brad no matter what it takes. Now Tyrus was in the upper ranks of the Trainer Club. He did this just to spite Brad. It had been failing for him because Brad had been using him to get up the ranks very quickly. Tyrus had his Poliwrath be quarterback and his other Pokémon were Lickitung, Dragonite, Venasaur, Alakzam, and Aerodactyl. The coin was tossed, and Brad was decided to start with the ball.

Brad started the game off with a. run with Poliwrath. Poliwrath hurdled over Venasaur with a hydro pump, but Venasaur caught its leg and threw it to the ground. Then Mr. Mime threw the ball to Gengar. Aerodactyl and Dragonite came toward Brad at the same time. Gengar used dazzling gleam on Aerodactyl, and Dragonite. Then Tyrus's Alakzam got in front of Gengar and was shot down by a shadow ball. Gengar was then shot by an ice beam that came from Tyrus's Poliwrath. That is when Gengar was taken down. Now the next play Mr. Mime through the ball to Dragonite. Unfortunately, it was Tyrus's Dragonite then Dragonite took the ball and scored a touchdown for Tyrus. "Ha a turnover touchdown it just shows how weak you are at the game of Gridiron. I will never lose to you again I am going to destroy you."

Then Brad's Mr. Mime threw the ball to Dragonite again, but this time it was Brad's Dragonite. Tyrus tried to stop Dragonite with his Dragonite but was stopped with a devastating Dragon Claw. Then Aerodactyl came to stop Dragonite with an ancient power attack. This did not work and got Aerodactyl got a dragon claw to the head as well. Then Lickitung got its tongue around the leg of Dragonite. Then Mr. Mime threw the ball to Poliwrath. Poliwrath ran the ball jumped Venasaur with an ice beam attack. Then Aerodactyl got a hydro pump to shoot Poliwrath way up into the air. Poliwrath landed on its feet. When Poliwrath landed on its feet it dropped the ball. That is when Alakzam for Tyrus team ran the ball back to make the score fourteen to zero.

Then Brad started to go again on offense. Tyrus was beside himself with joy that he had only been on defense. He was going to finally defeat Brad at something and stomp him into the ground. "Hey loser I have not gone on offense, and I am still about to win. Will you turn the ball over again? What are you going to do? You going to go back home to your mommy in Davison town. My Lickitung is like your mom. They are both very ugly." That is when Mr. Mime threw the ball right to Aerodactyl and turned the ball over to Tyrus. Aerodactyl got the one yard line but failed to get the score because of Dragonite stopping Aerodactyl. "I am finally going to beat you! All I have to do is score right here. I am almost there. I will utterly defeat you without letting you score a single touch down in the game!" that is when Tyrus's Poliwrath threw a screen pass to Brad's Poliwrath. Aerodactyl swooped into stop Brad's Poliwrath. Poliwrath used hydro pump to jump into the air. Tyrus's Dragonite got close to Poliwrath, but got frozen by a Ice Beam attack from Poliwrath. Poliwrath did score a touchdown. Then the score was fourteen to seven in favor of Tyrus. "I admit that you got a lucky touchdown, but you forget I get the ball now. I am going to take it to the house and win this game."

Now Tyrus lined up Poliwrath threw the ball to Lickitung that caught the ball with its tongue. Then used his tongue to catapult itself away from the attacking Pokémon but was taken down by Poliwrath. Then Venasaur ran the ball and kept the people away from it with vines. Then Charizard used fire blast on Venasaur to stop the play. After that Alakzam got the ball and was levitating towards the goal and was brought down by Gengar using a shadow ball attack on Alakzam. On the last play of the drive Dragonite was thrown the ball but Brad's Dragonite got in the way. The ball was being juggled in the air when Charizard swooped in and caught the ball. Charizard took it and flew it towards the goal. Alakzam got in front of Charizard but was met with a Fire blast. Finally, Charizard scored to tie the game next point wins.

The final drive started with Lickitung running the ball. Lickitung jumped over Poliwrath, and was immediately sacked Dragonite for a loss of yards. Then Poliwrath stepped back to throw the ball when Mr. Mime stopped the Poliwrath from throwing the ball. Mr. Mime sacked Poliwrath and got the offense to line up even further back. Now Tyrus's Poliwrath was in the endzone when it started. Now Poliwrath did not have anyone to throw the ball to and started to run with the ball. This is when Brad's Poliwrath attacked Tyrus's Poliwrath. This end up with Tyrus's Poliwrath got sacked in the endzone. Now this scored Brad seven points for sacking the other team in their endzone. This made the game twenty one to fourteen. Tyrus said " How did you defeat me! You were down by fourteen and I some how still found a way to lose this battle. I will defeat you one day. I am your greatest rival. I will always be your greatest rival. FOR MY FATHER!"

Now Scott held the commencement Brad was in first place for this tournament again. He won the prize money, and a supply of Pokémon food for Professor Cypress. Now Scott declared that Brad had gone way up in rank because of how he beat Tyrus. Brad's rank went up from seven hundred fifty six to six hundred thirty three.

Captain Aerodactyl Man

Now Brad was headed to the Daycare Center because he had heard that something weird had been happening over there. When Brad made it seemingly nothing weird had happened. Now Brad discussed what was happening with the older couple that owned the Daycare Center. The Old Gentleman said "Yes this weird looking person is coming around trying to steal Pokémon eggs. Now he has not even got away with it one time. The Pokémon seem to have been attacking the strange man every single time he attacks the Pokémon run him off. He comes down swooping in on his wings. Then that thing comes popping out to get the egg looks like it is going to eat it or something. I do not know how he is flying like that. I assume he has got a Pokémon helping him in some way. Just do not know what it is." Then Brad had an idea on how to defeat the man, and make him stop trying to steal the Pokémon eggs.

So Brad waited on the roof of the Daycare Center waiting for this character to come flying in. That is when a pair of Aerodactyl wings come flying into the Daycare Center's range. Brad hit a dramatic pose. It made him look like he grew wings of a Dragonite, and the guns of a Blastoise. In reality the Dragonite was carrying the Blastoise. Then the Blastoise was carrying Brad. A pair of Kangaskhan eggs were right there when the man using the Aerodactyl wings stole the eggs. Brad heard the man yell "Another victory for Captain Aerodactyl Man."

Dragonite got Brad close to the Captain Aerodactyl Man. That is when Blastoise used Hydro pump to knock the Aerodactyl down. Captain Aerodactyl Man used the tongue to pull Brad down. That is when Dragonite dropped both Blastoise and Brad. Dragonite caught Blastoise on its back, and Brad with its arms. Blastoise laid faced down on Dragonite. This made it look like Dragonite had gained the guns of Blastoise. Captain Aerodactyl Man was soon taken down to the ground, but this did not stop him from trying to escape. The wings of Aerodactyl enveloped Captain Aerodactyl Man that is when Captain Aerodactyl Man just vanished from the field of battle. Brad was upset that he could not catch Captain Aerodactyl Man for the trainer that lost their Pokémon.

Now the small girl came back. She was not upset that the man had stolen her Pokémon egg. The girl said "I actually left the Kangaskhan at the Daycare to get it stronger. I did not really want the egg. Would you like the other egg that needs to be hatched?" Brad responded "Really! You would let me have the Kangaskhan egg? I would love to carry the egg for you. Thank you for the Kangaskhan. I am greatly in your debt."

A Eggcellent Day

Now by the next day a lot of people were talking about the Flying Gunner who took down the evil Captain Aerodactyl Man. Now Brad decided that he was going to take a load of bulletin board request for the route that headed towards Dearing. They had a few criminals seen between Dearing and Echols City. Brad though that the fresh air and sunlight would be good for the Pokémon egg that he was trying to hatch. Brad also thought that this would be a fun chance to return as the Flying Gunner to defeat the criminals. Brad took two jobs that were criminal, two jobs that were save citizens, and two environmental jobs.

Brad left the new harness that Professor Cypress had created and sent him when he heard the stories of the Flying Gunner. Blastoise was also harnessed up top of the Dragonite. They flew fast to the route where they were going to do their work for the day. They saw a Donphan harassing a Chansey. Dragonite swooped down and Blastoise gave Donphan to hits of a Hydro pump. The criminal screamed "Do you know how much this Pokémon is worth? I am not going to let some flying fancy like you stop me. Bounty Hunter Squad for life!" Donphan then tried to use rollout on the Flying Gunner. Blastoise shot another hydro pump to make sure that did not happen. The Donphan was defeated, and the criminal started to retreat, but Dragonite caught up with her. Then the Teleport Squad came got her, and took her to Echols City Prison for Ladies. The Chansey was still there when all of this was over. Chansey ran up and gave a big hug to our Flying Gunner. Which was a trick to actually get a Pokeball out of his bag, and get captured. Chansey then became apart of Brad's party because of the great help the Flying Gunner was to it.

Then Brad was supposed to save a citizen Brad went way up on Dragonite. He was looking for the two citizens that were supposed to be saved. The first could be seen from the air, and they were being attacked by a wild Charizard. Dragonite swooped down towards the wild Charizard. The Charizard was quickly taken down with water type moves from Blastoise. Brad captured the Charizard and sent it to Professor Cypress. The man said "Thank you for saving me from that Charizard. I sent the memo when I was just being pursued by the Charizard. I hid so that I could send the message." Brad said, "I am sorry if I knew I would have been more urgent." The man said, "It is okay I am still here." Brad said, "I can transport you to Echols City or Dearing which one do you need to go to?" The man said "I will go to Echols City. I am late for dinner. My wife is going to kill me."

Now Brad was in the air looking for his next task. That one was clear it was a rampaging Wigglytuff that was breaking the eardrums that got close to it. The problem was that the trainers could not get to the next city. Now Brad changed the Pokémon in the top harness to Venasaur. Brad used toxic to start the fight with Wigglytuff. Then Venasaur used Leech seed to suck the life out of Wigglytuff. Then Wigglytuff screamed with a Echo Voice attack. This hurt all three that were attacking it. Then Wigglytuff used dazzling gleam to hurt Dragonite that forced Brad to land and fight in a normal battle. Venasaur used vine whip to pull Wigglytuff's foot from under it. Then Venasaur used a barrage of razor leaves to hit Wigglytuff was on the ground. The Wigglytuff was in pain because it had its life sucked from it to heal Venasaur, and the poison that Venasaur hit Wigglytuff with. Wigglytuff hit Venasaur with a take down attack. Which made Wigglytuff faint from the recoil that happened. Then Brad sent that Wigglytuff to Professor Cypress. Brad rested for a moment in the forest and then took flight as the Flying Gunner.

Then Brad saw a Victrbell attacking a little boy close to the beginning of the route. Blastoise shot ice beam at the Victrbell. That froze the Victrbell, but that was not the end of the battle because five Weepinbell were swiping their vines at the boy. So Blastoise froze them one by one. They eventually all unfroze. Then Dragonite used a move that Brad had not seen. It was a hurricane attack. This nailed the six grass Pokémon to the ground. Now this did hurt the little boy a bit. It was nothing that the boy could not take. When the Dragonite had taken down all of the Pokémon something strange happened. The egg started to light up and the Kangaskhan hatched. Immediately the Kangaskhan started to take care of the kid as if he was its own. Then Brad had an idea and got his Chansey out. Chansey gave the kid an egg that healed him back to better than when he left. Brad got the Teleport Squad to send the kid to the Trainer Club in Dearing. Brad sent all of the attacking Pokémon to Professor Cypress.

Then the Flying Gunner flied again. He landed down at the place that needed some clearing. Brad got Scyther to cut up the wood that had fallen in the route due to a rather big Pokémon battle that must have happened here. They loaded up Tauros and set the wood in one big pile. Some Parasect and Paras that lived in the tree started to attack Brad for cleaning the tree up. They shot Poison powder at Kangaskhan. Kangaskhan used Mega Punch to knock out three Paras. The Parasect started to use Bug Bite on Kangaskhan. That is when Kangaskhan used fire punch on the Parasect. That took the Parasect out. Still more Paras attacked Kangaskhan fire punch after fire punch. Kangaskhan took down more and more Paras. This Kangaskhan may have just evolved but it was not weak by any means. Now three giants Parasect attacked Kangaskhan. They were going to let small ones do their bidding, but all of the small creatures had failed to stop the mighty Kangaskhan. Kangaskhan used ice punch on the first which made it a block of ice. The same happened to the second. Then Kangaskhan started to bounce and used fire punch on the last one. That was four times effective on the Parasect. Then Kangaskhan used fire punch on the second to melt the icy cage that Kangaskhan put it in. then it did it to the last Parasect. Finally, the Pokémon got back to chopping up the trees that fell. Then they put it all into one big pile. That cleared both the environmental jobs that Brad had taken.

The Flying Gunner flew around the river until he saw a man using a Furret and Noctowl. He was attacking a group of kids. They had been pretending to be the Flying Gunner. The criminal did not like that they were not acting like his personal hero Captain Aerodactyl Man. Those kids were unprotected, so the Flying Gunner swooped down. The kids were freaking out that their hero had come to save them. When the criminal was defeated in two shots of hydro pump. The Teleport Squad was called, and he was sent to Echols City Prison for Men. That is when the kids looked up and noticed a Aerodactyl. Captain Aerodactyl Man said, "So you want to play hero, I am going to destroy you!" Now the battle went as one would expect for a in air battle. The Aerodactyl was shot down with Hydro Pump again. The Flying Gunner swooped down to take him into to custody, but yet again Captain Aerodactyl Man escaped via teleport. With all of his request done Brad went to Echols City and went back to the Trainer's Club to rest.

Make My Pokémon Grow

The next day Brad was lounging around the Trainer Club with Hayden, and Michael they were looking for something to do. When they overheard a conversation between a man and Scott. The scientist said "Hey Scott I have found a way to make Pokémon grow to be even bigger than they would have been before. I have found a way to make Pokémon grow in battle." Scott replied "That seems widely unethical I do not think that you should do it. I do not think that you should go down this path. Please do not take this risk. This could easily go badly for you. Please do not do this." The scientist said "Scott you have been one of my closest friends for a long time. I thought that you would see the greatness in my idea, but if you cannot see it, I will have to do it on my own." Now when this scientist left the building Scott started to murmur about how this was not going to go well for the entire city of Echols City. So as soon as the scientist walked outside the Bounty Hunter Squad stole the serum that was to make Pokémon bigger.

Now Brad went to the roof and summoned the Flying Gunner. Hayden and Michael had been working on their persona's as well. So, they just ran up to the roof and joined Brad with their new costumes. Hayden flew beneath his new Pidgeot with Marowak on top of Pidgeot. While Michael used his Charizard to fly on the bottom with his Lapras on top to shoot down his enemies. They all three flew towards the Bounty Hunter Squad grunt.

Now five grunts commanded twenty Sentret to attack the three. Michael made the combo of Ice and fire look like a breeze. Hayden's Pidgeot flew around the battlefield with great speed. Marowak would skillfully hit the Sentret with Boomerang. The Flying Gunner shot water gun at the Sentret. Now all three of the trainers landed when the Sentret were defeated. The three yelled out their secret identities towards the Bounty Hunter Squad. "The Ranged Ranger," said Hayden. "The Freezing Flame," said Michael. "And the Flying Gunner," said Brad. Then Brad heard a girls voice "Don't forget about me. The Shocking Seamstress." The wings seemed familiar it was a pair of Dragonite wings, and a Jolteon on top. Brad could tell that the girl in the disguise was Kimber. Now the four of them together were going to fight the five Bounty Hunter Squad Grunts. It was clear that this battle was not going to be easy.

The five Pokémon sent out by the grunts were Houndoom, Ariados, Ampharos, Umbreon, and Tryanitar. Now The Flying Gunner immediately shot down Houndoom that hurt with great damage. Then The Ranged Ranger used boomerang on Ampharos. Now Brad hit Tryanitar with a hydro pump attack. The Freezing Flame used ice beam and flamethrower on Ariados at the same time which knocked out Ariados. Then the next time that the Ranged Ranger hit Ampharos with a boomerang it feel down, and was knocked out. The Shocking Seamstress with her bright yellow cape had been using Pin missile on Umbreon which weakened it to be knocked out. Tryanitar was all that was left. Then all of them attacked Tryanitar at once.

Once they all attacked Tryanitar it was knocked out, but the Grunt used the serum on its Tryanitar. "Okay serum make my Pokémon grow!" yelled the grunt. The Tryanitar started to grow to the size of the building. Now the four took to the air. It is time to show them how to fight. The Ranged Ranger used the boomerang to slowly move the health of Tryanitar down. Then the Shocking Seamstress got caught up in a rock throw attack. It looked like she had gone down, but the Flying Gunner had no time to worry about it. The Flying Gunner hit the face of the Tryanitar with a hydro pump. The Freezing Flame froze the back of Tryanitar. The Flying Gunner used Dragon claw to break the ice on the back of Tryanitar. The Tryanitar screamed and winced in pain. The Ranged Ranger barely dodged the stone edge that happened when. Tryanitar was wincing in pain. Finally, the Flying Gunner used a Hydro Pump attack that caused the Tryanitar to faint. It fell without hitting a building fortunately. There was still massive damage to the city, but no buildings were destroyed in the chaos. The Tryanitar shrunk down to it average size when it was defeated the grunts almost got away but then Captain Aerodactyl Man came and made sure that they did not get away. The Teleport Squad from Echols City teleported them away. They went to Echols City Prison for Men and Echols City Prison for Women. "Just because I helped you this time do not get used to it Flying Gunner. I still want to defeat you."

Now Brad just remembered something then said "We need to check on Kimb… the Shocking Seamstress. She took a fall when the big Tryanitar used rock throw. We have to check on her." When they got down to her. She was injured, and it was not looking good for her. That is when Chansey got out of his Pokeball. Chansey gave an egg to Kimber, the Shocking Seamstress. The egg healed her to a condition that was better than what she was before. "Wow I feel a lot better. What is in that Chansey egg." Said Shocking Seamstress. The Flying Gunner says "It is filled with nutrition and luck. We are glad you are okay."

The Troubling Times

Professor Cypress contacted Brad and the others to hear about the attack that happened. "The Pokémon grew to the size of a building. Now that is a devastating discovery. Oh, I guess I should mention that the one grunt with the serum got away. They probably did not use it all on the one Pokémon. They probably saved some of the formula that they could replicate it. It is not going to be that simple to deal with this problem. It is probably going to be something that is going to be a problem for a long time." Brad said enthusiastically "Well I guess that we are going to have to dawn the garb of the vigilantes. We will have to be ever vigilant to help the cities that are attacked."

It was then that people started to run, and scream from a certain area. The kids dawned the gear and sped towards to the area that was being attacked. The attack was happening near a tributary of the river. That is when multiple Remoraid and Octillery started to attack. The Shocking Seamstress came down and shocked the Tentacruel. Then Freezing Flame took out the Oddish, Gloom and Bellossom that were shooting their odorous spores at the group. Then the Ranged Ranger used the boomerang to knock out some Mareep, Flaaffy. and Ampharos that were in the area. All of these Pokémon were attacking the group of vigilantes. Then the Flying Gunner saw it. The group of Bounty Hunter Squad summoning the Pokémon that were attacking the group. The Flying Gunner shot down some Slugma, and Magcargo that were near the group.

That is one man in a lab coat screamed "You are supposed to be keeping the trainers away from this spot you idiots. Well that is our luck. It is the people from yesterday. Well I guess that means that I should use this bit of the serum to get this battle going. The four heroes rushed the spot of the Pokémon that was about to take the serum. Then the scientist started to pour the serum down the Pokémon's mouth. The Pokémon was apparently named Steelix. That is when the Steelix did not grow like it had before. The moment was filled with silence.

Now the Steelix started to thrash about. The world started to shake, and not even the Bounty Hunter Squad was ready for this. It was a disgusting bit of science that hurt the Steelix in ways that were unfounded. It was clear that the serum made the Steelix aggravated. It was like Steelix was having a seizure. The convulsing Steelix was clearly in pain. The Freezing Flame swooped down and used flamethrower on the Steelix. "Well, we are going to have to knock this Steelix out. I think that the best course of action would be to take it out. Then we are going to have to send this Steelix to be studied by Professor Cypress." Screamed the Freezing Flame. Then the Shocking Seamstress pulled back because she was calling the Teleport Squad. The Ranged Ranger kept hitting Steelix with the boomerang. While The Flying Gunner shot hydro pumps at the Steelix. Then Steelix started to spew dragon breath from its mouth. That is when the Freezing Flame got caught in a wrap attack from the Steelix. Now the harness helped now crush Michael, but it was still hurting him. The Flying Gunner got two hydro pumps to the head of Steelix. That is when the convulsing and seizing stopped. Then the Freezing Flame was released from the bind that the Steelix had him in. Then all of the Teleport Squad came down and teleported out the Steelix, and then they saw the Freezing Flame. The Freezing Flame was not looking good and they teleported him right to the hospital. Unfortunately for the gang of heroes the criminals got away with a Teleport Squad of its own.

They immediately went to the hospital. Michael was doing good and the doctor promised that he would not tell his secret identity. The doctor said that Michael would make a full recovery, and that he would have been fine. Michael would have to stay overnight at the hospital to make sure that nothing was going to get worse. "Now kids if you are going to be vigilantes then you are going to get hurt a lot. I have to recommend that you stop doing this. One day there might be a fight that you cannot recover from. That being said we need you for now because of the great uptick in crime from that Bounty Hunter Squad group. You say that the Steelix was seizing and convulsing. That might not be good for the Steelix. I think that it was dying or in great pain. Hopefully that it will make a full recovery like your friend here." Now Professor Cypress called "Hey so the Bounty Hunter Squad was attacking and used the serum on the Steelix. Now I think that we can presume that they have not figured out the exact formula of the serum. That is good for the time being because that means they cannot use it on the Pokémon. Well I guess they will being experimenting on the Pokémon." Brad said "Well I guess that we are going to need to find them and stop the Bounty Hunter Squad from doing more studies. I am going to Fagan Town tomorrow to start looking for Bounty Hunter Squad. Hey are you going to stay with Michael to keep me updated?" Hayden said "I will stay with Michael, and make sure he is okay. How about you and Kimber go ahead to Fagan Town?"
