Chapter 2
Future Timeline
"At first things were going well after Cell was defeated." Marron continued her description of what happened in her world. "It was around seven years later when things begann to go wrong."
The defeated Bra/Kiviya was still standing before them on shaky legs. With both Future Trunks and Marron ready to blast her if she made as much as one wrong move.

Alternate timeline - history:
7 Years after Cell-Games:
- Seven years after the Cell Games a time-maschine appeared close to West City with one passenger inside - Kiviya or Bra as she called herself and claimed to be Bulma´s `daughter´.
She warned the Z-fighters and their families about the Wizard Babidi and the awakening of Majin Buu. She told them how the demon would devastate Earth and kill the greatest past of the population, before moving directly to other planets and destroying many of them, before somehow being stopped by the gods.
She also told them how Vegeta of all people sacrificed himself to stop the monster, but failed. Which also served as a good explanation why Vegeta was obviously not her father.
She even openly admitted that Bulma had cloned her from her own and some alien DNA. And had send her back to stop Buu from being released.
While this made a few of them at least a bit wary, she had actually led them to the place where Buu´s egg was hidden. Despite it bein dormant, they could sense that Bra had told the truth about the creature inside being a potential major threat. But with it´s energy levels being low, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo together managed to destroy it.
- It was a few weeks later when both Babidi and his servants and also the Kaioshin with his assistant Kibito arrived on Earth. Neither of them were aware that Buu already not longer existed.
The young God Dende and Piccolo however send out a line of mental calls at the time Bra said the Kaioshin would arrive on Earth. One of them was heard by him and they informed him and Kibito about Buu´s demise. Who were shocked and happy at the same time about hearing this, even more than they heard that a time-traveller was involved in this.
They told them that Mortals time-travelling was actually against the laws of the gods. But in this case they would be more than willing to overlook it.
Together they flew to the spot where Bra had told them Babidi´s spaceship was hidden. As both she and the Kaioshin said, even without Buu, Babidi was still a threat.
This turned out to be all too true, since Babidi´s strongest servant turned out to be Dabura, the King of the Demon Realm - who was rivalling the power of Cell in his perfect form.
This was hoever not that much of an issue, since Vegeta had gotten even stronger than him and was able to defeat him.
As Babidi was killed by the Kaioshin however, Dabura just stood down, glad to be freed of his mind-control, and retreated on his own. Vegeta and Gohan just let him go, not longer caring about him much.
Looking back, maybe the rest of them should have been suspicious when the Kaioshin and Kibito had not returned from that battle. Killed by one of Babidi´s servants according to Vegeta and Gohan. But they did not really go into detail about what happened.
What none of them was aware of, was that the Kaioshin´s death also meant the one of Lord Beerus.
It was a week later when the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai took place and Goku was allowed to return from the Afterlife for one day. Afterwards he simply disappeared and returned to the Afterlife as his 24 hours were over. Not aware that anything was wrong.
Bra left their time a few days later as well and returned where she came from.

19 Years after Cell-Games:
It was twelve years later that Kiviya came the second time.
At first she had talked about some other threat that would appear soon.
But soon she showed her true face.
It was only a few days later that Bulma revealed to them and the entire world what she and her family had been secretly working on during the last dozen years. Spaceships, weapons and a few other devices that they didn´t even really explain the function of.
It was at that time that Marron´s family seriously started to believe that something was wrong. At the TV they saw newscasts about crowds of people that were leaving heir homes and workplaces and assembling on the streets for some unknown reason.
Their fears were confirmed as a short time later Android 21, the rebuild version of Android 16 and Dabura of all people showed up to warn them. They told them that Twenty One had found out that Vegeta, Gohan, their families and possible even Piccolo and Dende were under some kind of mind control.

It was a short time ago that `Bra´, along with Vegeta, her brother Trunks and Piccolo showed up at Dabura´s home, an abandoned castle where he had settled down with a couple underlings he had recruited from Earth´s population.
As it seemed Dabura had never bothered to return to the Demon Realm but instead staid on Earth to enjoy his freedom after years of slavery under Babidi. Of course even before the Wizard got his hands on him, Dabura had been far from a good person. But the time he had spend as someone ele pawn had burned him out and left him with no ambition and direction. Just wanting to be on his own for at least a few decades.
His underlings however had been quickly slaughtered by the Z-fighters and `Bra´ as about to place something that Twenty One identified as some kind of parasitic egg inside him, before she managed to save him in the last moment.
Twenty One was one of the last Androids that Doctor Gero had designed many years ago, ironically from the body of his own wife and which his super-computer had finished. Similar like with Cell.
In opposite to Cell or Gero himself however, Twenty One was only interested in continuing her own scientific research work and was mostly harmless, despite her great power that nearly rivalled Perfect Cells.

Krillin and his family had no great choice than to believe their story, especially with more and more crowds of people gathering at streets, parks and marketplaces as if they were simply waiting for something.
Twenty One explained to them that with Bulma´s help they had been able to turn the mindcontrolling eggs into a airborne variant, that was now spreading over the entire planet. But that she had developed a serum that neutralized the eggs and gave them a few vials of it.
It was then, when a word-wide TV broadcast begann, coming from West City. To their shock it was Bulma, with `Bra´, Vegeta and Trunks standing at her sides.
She presented Capsule Corps new spaceships and declared to their astonishment the beginning of a new Empire and the arrival of their King.
As it turned out `Bra´ had not come alone this time.
Her `father´ had been with her. A monstrous, parasitic, cyber-organic being that called himself Beby and had been hiding inside her own body.
Krillin and his family watched in horror and disgust how some kind of silvery liguid was flowing out of her body through her mouth and forming itself into a humanoid shaped being.
`Beby´ claimed to be descended from a race named the Tsufuru that had been practically exterminated by the Saiyans and that he had now returned to both take revenge and conquer the universe as a new Tsufuru Empire.
The new space-fleet that Bulma and her father had been building for the last twelve years under commands that Kiviya had left behind would be used to take over other planets.
And the last of the hated Saiyans were now serving as slaves in his new Empire. With this words he moved inside Vegeta´s body.
And thousands were cheering as he declared himself new Ruler of Earth.
Krillin, Eighteen and Marron left together with Twenty One, Dabura and Sixteen.

They tried to contact Seventeen next, hoping the enemy had not got him yet.
But what they found when they arrived at the island where Seventeen was still working as a Ranger... it looked like someone had shot him in the back. No sign of fighting back. He had trusted his killers and had just been murdered from behind.
On top of that they had literally ripped his Infinite Energy Reactor out of his body. Probably to give it to Bulma for research.

Then they made one last attempt, they went to Kami´s Palace, hoping that they didn´t control Dende and Mister Popo yet.
In the Palace they hoped there would be a way to cure the mind-control plaque or at least a way to spread Twenty One´s serum over the planet and free their friends from the control. It was the last chance either of them saw.
But their worst fears turned out to be true. Dende was already being controlled.
And they were waiting there for them. Marron and Eighteen watched helplessly as Vegeta - no Beby - killed Krillin.
Eighteen attacked him enraged, but she, Twenty One and Dabura were thrown aside as if they were nothing. Beby´s presence boosted Vegeta´s power just too much. He did not even need the help of his minions.
They managed to get away, most of them did. Sixteen sacrificed himself (once again) to give them the chance to flee.

A short time later Beby made another announcement.
He would leave this universe for a time, to fight a battle in another realm.
But he would leave `Princess´ Kiviya behind as ruler of the Empire for the time being.
For Marron, Eighteen, Twenty One and Dabura it made little difference. It were only them left, the last free beings on the planet.
They went into hiding, never staying long at the same place, suppressing their energy.

20 Years after Cell-Games:
During the next year, the Z-fighters were used to conquer more planets. The first was New Namek, the second Yadrat. Like Earth the population was brought under their control.
But they always only send one or two Super Saiyan at once. And never Vegeta, whose body Beby had left behind and returned to being just another mind-controlled puppet, but a very strong one.
Then one day, Marron was caught. She had just coincidently been detected by Piccolo, captured and been brought to Bulma´s lab.
She did not even remember most what had happened there. She had been unconscious for the most time.
As she finally woke up, Bulma and Kiviya greeted her and explained that their experiment was an succeed. Bulma said to Marron that as Eighteen´s daughter, for her entire life nano-machines existed in her body that were originally used for the augmentation or Seventeen and Eighteen´s organic parts and the maintaining of their mechanical ones.
This was something that Marron had known for years.
But now Bulma told her that she had `continued´ her transformation into a full Android, by implanting a Infinite Energy Reactor into her and connecting it with her body.
Marron realized in horror that it must be Seventeen´s Reactor that they had planted into her.
It was a short time later that they came for her. With some stroke of luck, they did not only managed to free Marron, but also to find the old time-maschine from Cell.
Even if they could not bring down the enemy, it at least gave them the chance to get away from this world. If they could get away long enough to use it.
But they had followed them and managed to find them very quickly.

Eighteen and Dabura were facing Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo. And they were loosing. While Eighteen was able to hold herself against Vegeta, Dabura was being overwhelmed by Gohan and on top of that Piccolo was staying at distance and taking shots at them both whenever they showed an opening.
Meanwhile Marron had activated her new Infinite Energy Source and was fighting Trunks and Goten. She realized that as soon as she had activated it, her ki as not longer to sense, like if she were a real Android. And to her even greater surprise, she was actually able to hold herself against two Super Saiyans. At least for some time.
"Now boys - let us see how this turned out," she said to them with played confidence.
All that while Twenty One was still trying to activate the time-machine. But they knew, even if she managed to do it, only one or two of them would be able to get away, while the rest of them needed to keep the Z-fighters at distance and keep them from interferring before it could start.
But it came as it had to be. Gohan dodged an attempt from Dabura to hit him with his spit and turn him into stone. And in return slammed his fist right through his chest.
Then he fired a Masenko to finish the former Demon Lord off.
This left Eighteen alone against both him and Vegeta. She `might´ have been able to deal with one of them. But against both at once, she was being overpowered quickly.
Within seconds both Super Saiyan Two´s let a rain of strikes and blasts reign down on her. and left her with serious injuries and a broken shoulder.
Kiviya herself meanwhile had so far only been standing back and let the mind-controlled Z-fighters fight.
"Eighteen - you can not win," she called out to her. She flew a bit closer. "Join us. You are a great fighter and I don´t really want to kill you," she said in a softer voice. "You are nearly as strong as Vegeta, with just a fraction of his training. You would be one of our best and you and your daughter don´t need to die."
Eighteen glared at her.
"I would rather die than let anyone control me. Neither will my daughter," she called out.
"I see," Kiviya replied. "Your brother reacted the same way. Father fulfilled his wish. I will do the same favor for you."
She looked at Vegeta and Gohan, who both powered up their attacks.
"Marron!" Eighteen shouted.
She turned around and fired. But not at her own two opponents.
Instead she fired an Infinity Bullet attack at Trunks and Goten, who were still cornering Marron and caught the to Super Saiyans off guard and pushed them away from her.
Marron understood and flew as quickly as she could towards the time-machine.
At the same moment Vegeta and Gohan unleashed a Final Flash and a Kamehameha at Eighteen, that killed and completely annihilated the already weakened Android.
"No," Marron said quietly as she saw what happened. She wanted to scream, but she knew there was no point.
Trunks, Vegeta and Kiviya herself had moved to follow her, But Twenty One flew up and placed herself between them and Marron.
"The time-machine is ready," she shouted. "You just need to push the button."
As she said this, she blasted a hole through Trunks chest.
Marron saw her old friend die, but barely felt anything anymore.
Vegeta, despite being mind-controlled, showed visible anger about his sons death and blasted Twenty One into atoms.
But Kiviya was still close to her and trying to keep Marron from using the time machine.
Goten however, with a visible head injury, had just recovered from the hits of Eighteen´s attack and was from some distance, firing a blast at the time-machine.
The shot only gazed it. But that was already enough. The blast destroyed some of the electronics and triggered some kind of overload that caused the time-machine to explode. At the same moment however, a large energy sphere formed itself and swallowed both Marron and Kiviya.
"Goten you idiot - what have you done?" Kiviya called out right before she disappeared.
One moment later they both found themselves in Future Trunks world.

What neither of them knew, a short time later a wave of pure annihilation washed over their reality, not just their Universe-7 but their entire timeline.
At this point somewhere else, a Kaioshin named Zamasu had stolen the body of a Mortal who even surpassed an God of Destruction named Jiren and wiped out most of the Mortals of Universe Ten and Eleven and also assassinated their Kaioshins.
It as then when their entire timeline was being erased from existence - a timeline that should have never existed in the first place. As part of a cosmic battle that happened far beyond their reality.

Future Timeline
Future Trunks, Marron and Bulma were still standing in front of the defeated Kiviya.
The question in Trunks mind was, should he kill her?
If he believed what Marron just told them, she was a monster, not much better than the Androids. Even if she was a tool for someone else.
But all what he saw right now was a young girl who looked exactly like his mother.
She was still a threat to the planet, he told himself. He did not even know if these goddamn stingers would not regrow somehow. And even then he could not guaranty that she would not try to murder them in their sleep if she had the chance.
"Trunks?" Marron said.
Side Note: Since Buu had never awakened in this splinter-timeline, his genes were never intigrated into Android 21. Because of that this version is far weaker and does not possess Buu´s special abilities (regeneration and eating people to get stronger), but also mentally stable, without a Buu-like split-personality.
