It was already the next day and I was back at school. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect but I seem like a regular high school day. We had regular classes that included English math and traditional Japanese. During lunch, I decided to go to the courtyard and eat my Bento Box alone. I don't like eating with others. They tended to stare since I ate a lot. I know we probably were going to train today. So, I asked my mom to pack me a Bento and she never disappointed. I found a bench near some trees that give a lot of shade. when I decided to sit down and just eat my lunch there. There weren't a lot of students outside. Guess they were all in the cafeteria.

I started eating when I noticed a very tired looking boy with Purple hair looking around. He had his lunch with him just like me. He might be looking for somewhere to eat. I just kept eating when my feathers puffed up warning me someone was coming. I looked up and saw the same purple-haired boy walk up to me.

"This is the only bench with shade mind if I join you?" he asked. I scooted over so he could have room to sit down comfortably. "Not at all, have a seat," I said motioning my hand to welcome him sitting down. We sat there in silence eating our lunches. I didn't mind the silence. It was refreshing after being with such a rowdy bunch of students. I finished half my lunch before I started putting it away. I wasn't sure what we were going to do today so I didn't want to overeat.

"You didn't finish" I heard a soft tired voice.

"Oh yea, it was a lot of food. I don't know if we'll be training today so I don't want to overeat" I explained.

"Training? Your part of the hero course, aren't you? "he asked.

"Yea I am. My name is Y/N L/N nice to meet you, I should have introduced myself earlier" I said bowing as an apology.

"Hitoshi Shinso nice to meet you too," he said.

"I should get going. I want to study a bit in class before anyone else gets into the classroom" I tell him I bow again "I'll see you around" say goodbye as I wave at him.

I was back in class writing down some notes from the textbooks. I can't get really good notes since I can't see well from the back of the class. However, I didn't want to sit in front where my wings would block people's view. I felt someone's eyes on me but I ignored it since my feathers didn't respond to anything. I stretched my arms over my head and when I looked at the door I saw Todoroki standing at the door. He had a soft smile on his face, but it quickly went away when we made eye contact and his face blushed pink. 'Guess he's embarrassed he got caught staring, no he wasn't staring my feathers would have reacted'

"Hey, Todoroki you're back early." I pointed out.

"Uhhh yeah, I like the quiet before class starts. Besides I eat alone so there was no point in me staying in the cafeteria. Why are you here alone?"

"Oh, I was taking down some notes. I couldn't write everything down in class so I decided to do this before lunch ended" I explained.

"You want to copy my notes?" Todoroki offered while taking out his notebook from his school bag.

"Oh really?! Thank you so so much! I'm sure that would really help!" I said a little louder than I meant to. A small blush showed on his face. I took down notes and slowly but surely the class filled up with students again. I returned the notebook before the bell rang and the class waited patiently for our next teacher.

"I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO" the door opened to reveal All Might in his silver age costume. Everyone's faces lit up mine included. I didn't know much about my adoption but I did know that All Might is the reason I was initially found and put up for adoption. He was the reason I wanted to be a hero. He was the hero I needed in my time of need. I wanted to be that hero for someone else.

"Welcome to the most important class in UA High. Think of it as Hero 101. Here you will learn the basics of being a pro. Today's lesson!" he flashed something that said battle. I looked over at Todoroki to see his reaction but he was expressionless again. He didn't seem the slightest bit interested.

"Fight training," Bakugou said you could hear the excitement coming from his voice.

Then the wall opened up revealing cases with numbers 1-21. "These were designed by your school registration form. A request was sent in before you started. Suit up and meet me in training ground Beta"

Once changed we walked out and I heard All Might speak again. "They say clothes make the pros young ladies and gentlemen. Behold you are the proof. Take this to heart. YOU ARE ALL HEROES IN TRAINING" my heart skipped a beat at hearing that.

My costume was white and black. My hood was pulled up and there was a stripe going down the middle with a circle on the front. It was originally supposed to show the full moon but I guess I forgot to specify that. The inside of my hood was black and I had a white choker that blended beautifully on my (s/t skin tone) skin with a black moon representing my little sister whose name meant moon. It was made out of carbon fiber to protect my neck from any fatal attacks. My suit was a two-piece with a white corset with black on the sides. My shorts were also white. I had a white loosely fitted belt with first aid mainly for burns in case I lost control of my flames and a small box filled with regular first aid. Knee-high black combat boots that had a spike on the side. My sleeves only made it slightly past my elbow. I also requested it to be fireproof. Didn't want an incident like at the entrance exam and burning up my suit.

All Might began to explain that we would be doing training inside buildings since statistically, most battles with the worst of the worst take place indoors. We would be splitting up into 2 groups of villains and heroes, fighting 2 on 2. As he explained a flood of questions came from the students.

After explaining All Might had us draw from the lot. I was number 21 so I waited to be last…. That's when All Might realized there were only enough numbers for 20 people.

"Uh sir, so what team should I join?" I asked All Might a little nervous about his answer.

"Well let's see.." he pauses to think. "I got it. Let's wait till the end and whoever volunteers, will be the villains and you will be the lone hero"

'EXCUSE ME WHAT?! LONE HERO IS HE INSANE?!'

"Excuse me sir is that wise" Iida asks as I am in too much shock to even respond. 'Yes Iida talk some sense into this guy'

"Well, of course, Y/N here was number 1 overall in the entrance exams. She should be fine. Not to mention this would be beneficial to her since sometimes in these situations you can't rely on back up if none is provided" he explained. I understand his reasoning but it's only the second day.

'I'm going to die!' I yell in my head.

"First up is Team A and Team D. A being the Villians and D being the villains" ok that means… oh no…. Midoriya and Uraraka v. Iida and Bakugou. Midoriya will be facing his bully. I should say something to him. I turned to see Midoriya but he looked so nervous, anything I say may push him over the edge. "Everyone head over to the viewing room" All Might's voice boomed.

Once in the room, I stood next to Todoroki, and for the first time, I saw his hero costume. It was all white with ice covering his entire left side. His eye was displayed by a red dot. 'Honestly, he looks a little scary' I must have been staring for too long he looked down at me and I just apologized for looking "S-sorry I didn't mean to stare I was admiring your hero suit". He didn't say anything, just looked at the screen.

'There he goes again, giving me the cold shoulder'

~Time skip to end of first battle~

He nearly killed Midoriya, he could've captured him but instead, he nearly killed him.

"Your indoor combat training is over" All Might announced to them. Iida and Uraraka have no clue how badly hurt Midoriya was. I was fuming. Damn, why does that kid have to remind me so much of my little sister?

"What a weird way to end things. The losers are practically untouched and the winners on the floor" Kaminari said.

"It shouldn't have gone this far, we all know it," I said, my voice completely monotone. Everyone looked at me shocked that I would say it out loud. They all thought about it.

"This class is intense," said Asui.

"You can say that again," I said out loud. I started walking out. "Hey L/N where are you going?" asked Sero.

"To go check on my classmates" I lied. I was going to kick Bakugou's ass. Once outside I took off and flew to the building. I landed on the fifth floor and met with Iida and Uraraka.

"L/N what are you doing here? Your mock battle is last" said Iida. He stood up and walked towards me and I completely ignored him. I was too furious that All Might didn't stop the fight.

"Uraraka are you alright?" I bent down and asked her as I took off my hood and let my h/l (hair length) h/c out of my costume. "Just a little nauseous. I'll be ok after some rest" she explained.

"I'll fly you back. But I want to check on Midoriya first" I tell her

"Oh is he hurt?" she asked. I didn't answer but I knew the look on my face told her more than enough. "I want to see him," she said. I picked her up bridal style. "W-wait I-I can w-walkk" she said.

"No" I answered and I took off to where Midoriya was. He was laying on his side with both arms out front. Bakugou just stared at his body. "Midoriya!" Uraraka yelled I set her down and she went to his body looking at his arms. I was so angry I didn't even notice my feathers were puffed up to their maximum capability. I know they usually looked big but now they looked even bigger. I walked up to Midoriya and extended one of my wings towards him. I made cold air from my wings to blow onto his burned arm.

'That's right he's burned' I quickly opened one of my first aid tubes that were specifically designed for burns and gave him first aid for his burns.

"There's no point in doing that. The old hag is just going to make him better" Bakugou commented. I really wished he hadn't

"Shut up," I said

"Huhhhh"

"I said shut up. You don't get to talk. You nearly killed him!" I spat at him, my voice laced with venom.

Uraraka looked up at Bakugou. I knew she didn't know what happened. At that moment two medical robots came in with All Might. The robots had a board with them. Without warning my wings opened up and started to create ice under him. With my ice, I slowly picked him up and laid him down on the board and the robots walked away with him.

"If there's going to be heroes like you Bakugou, the world doesn't need villains," I told him. He looked at me and glared.

"L/N you shouldn't say that" Uraraka whispered.

"You only say that because you didn't see how he acted. He has so much rage towards a kid he bullied in Junior High. Guess he was pissed that he finally stood up for himself" I said I was trying so hard to not let the venom in my voice but man was I failing.

"THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ICY BITCH" Bakugou yelled.

"I know enough to see a bully with an inferiority complex. I can also tell you're not used to others not praising you for your quirk." I told him.

"WHY YOU LITTLE-" Bakugou yelled out as he lunged at me. I flicked my wing and encased him in ice.

"That's enough you two!" All Might demanded.

'Sure now you want to stop the fighting'

"Let's go Uraraka" I picked her up in bridal style and flew back to the building.

~Time Skip to Y/N's Battle~

"Very good you all did well, and no one had any serious injuries besides Young Midoriya. Now since all teams didn't really have any injuries, do we have any volunteers to go against young L/N" All Might asked.

I waited but it seemed no one wanted to go up against me, after a bit of silence only one person raised their hand.

Todoroki.

"Very well I guess it will be a one on one" All Might yelled.

This should be interesting. We have similar quirks my main advantage being my wings, but I can't fly if we're indoors. So, we should be on the same playing field on quirks. However, from what I saw he has far more superior training than I did. This wasn't going to be easy. I locked eyes with him and smiled. No expression on his face again but I did see a small blush on the uncovered side of his face.

"Ok get to the building and we shall begin in a moment"

I was outside the building waiting for it to start. I didn't know where he would be, or he would even use the same technique as before. I really doubted he would be considering I saw it be used once already.

"Begin!" the voice in my ear said. With that, I walked into the building. I focused on my hearing and feathers. If anything was going to happen my feathers would detect it before I could hear it. Soon enough my feathers puffed up I looked around the corner to see ice forming on the walls. 'So, he did use the same technique'. I quickly jumped and made spikes on my boots to make sure I didn't slip on his ice. I could easily just melt the ice into water but that would be a waste of time, he would only cover the walls again.

'I could force him to overuse his quirk though, there wouldn't be a point to it though. He could just use his fire to compensate for the ice' I thought and from the looks of it, he should be somewhere on the third floor. I made my way to the third floor where it was clearly colder. This is definingly where he was. With that, I flicked my wings to melt the ice. Just then my feathers puffed up and my right-wing blocked a punch. 'sneaky boy'

I used the cover my wings gave me to get my capture tape out of my belt. I readied myself. Once I removed my wing, I saw that he was only 2 feet from me. His left hand coming at me for a punch. Copying Midoriya's movement I grabbed his arm and quickly wrapped my capture tape on it loosely. I gave him my back and pushed my hips into him making him get on my back. He was so much taller than I was, so I pushed him even more with the help of my wings. He was now in the air and landed on the ground with a loud thud.

He quickly recovered and held onto the capture tape pulling me in. 'Crap crap crap think think think'.

He grabbed onto my left hand with his right. I heated up my arm so fast almost releasing my fire. He noticed and countered it with ice. Perfect. With that steam rose and I heated up my other arm and connected it to my wing making more steam. I felt his grip loosen and I took advantage of the moment and pulled away. Since he came from my right side that should mean the weapon should be in the corner room that's the biggest on this floor. I knew there was no way I could beat him in hand to hand combat. I'm pretty sure he knew too.

I made a left and covered the hall entrance in a thick wall of ice at least 4 inches thick. Made a right and kicked down the door into the biggest room in the building. 'Jackpot' I thought as I saw the weapon. But he put so many obstacles In Front of it. I can't fly, the pillars are in the way. My feathers puffed up again and I closed the door by kicking it and freezing it shut. I started to jump towards the weapon over the obstacles.

The doors were kicked open and I could be a frustrated Todoroki.

'I guess no one really gave him a run for his money before.'

I jumped onto another box, but I felt a kick to my right ribs. Todoroki had made a path with his ice to propel him forward making him catch up to me almost instantly. I landed with a thud and I was having a hard time breathing. I pushed myself up with my wings and looked at him. He was standing right Infront of the weapon.

"Just give up, you can't beat me in combat," He said with a very small smirk on his face.
