After the fiasco of Class 1-A and B girls getting tricked by Denki and Mineta and Midnight pretty much flashing Izuku, giving him a nosebleed in the stadium, the girls were back in the gym uniforms.
Izuku mentally berated himself, feeling a mix of embarrassment and frustration. 'Come on; you should've known better, Izuku,' he scolded himself, 'to be prepared for such shameless acts from girls, ' smacking his cheeks softly to regain his focus.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for one-on-one matches," announced Present Mic. Everyone eagerly waited for the matches to begin. Izuku noticed the loud blonde from Class 1-B and felt displeased, as he had heard him bad-mouthing his classmates from afar. Izuku could tolerate comments about himself, but he would not tolerate anyone disrespecting his classmates.
With his eyes closed in the waiting room, Izuku honed his focus with Image training, hoping for a chance to teach the arrogant boy a lesson. "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. One-on-one battle rounds, the first of the one-on-one round is: Izuku Midoriya vs. Neito Monoma," Midnight's voice echoed. Izuku's eyes snapped open, and a determined smirk formed on his lips.
Izuku headed out; he walked to one end of the arena and saw his opponent, a boy of average height with slick blond hair styled so that it was parted to the right, his bangs left hanging over his right eye. His irises are a periwinkle blue, his pupils white; he was walking from his end with a cocky grin.
"Finally, to pick off one of Class 1A, it's time to show why 1B is the best, and you guys are losers," Monoma gloated. Izuku just stayed quiet with a cold and serious expression. "You have Nothing to say, or you're just acting like you're better than us, that you don't have to talk?" the boy added.
"No, maiming or seriously injuring your opponent," Midnight cautioned.
In the stands
There were two heroines; one watching, intrigued, and the other annoyed and bored.
One of the Heroines: was a tan-skinned woman of average height. She had fierce red eyes with long, defined eyelashes and straight white hair reaching her thighs with bangs that extended to the left of her face. She had a slender, curvaceous frame and a lean, athletic, well-defined build, especially her arms and legs. Long white rabbit ears pointing upwards above her head, along with a small, cute, and white round tail, gave her the appearance of an albino rabbit.
Her suit consisted of a sleeveless white leotard with dark purple trim around her shoulders and waist, a wide yellow crescent moon design over her chest, and a single thick metal plate wrapped around her midriff. To complement her leotard, she wore purple thigh-high boots with more metal plating around the heel and toe areas, making her feet look like a rabbit's. She also had a pair of thick, white gloves on her hands with extended cuffs.
The Heroine next to her: was a woman with chin-length blonde hair, swept back with a headband, a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye. She has thin, yellow, slit pupils and sharp teeth because her Quirk gives her a reptile-like appearance.
She wore a dark red qipao with a pale green scale trim around her shoulders, a slit on the left side, with yellow claw patterns on the bottom and smaller ones around her neck. She wears knee-high boots and a strap around her exposed thigh. She wears long, almost sleeve-like white gloves that nearly reach her shoulders, with higher tabs on the outer sides, and they expose her hands from the wrist. She wears a matching green headband with four large, pale purple claws attached, covering the right side of her face, and a set of tiny black dragon wings protrude from the back of her head, with a few gold-spiked cartilage piercings decorating her left ear.
These two were the number 10 and 5 heroines: The Rabbit Hero: Miruko, and The Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu.
"So why did you bring me here?" Miruko questioned with a frown.
"I saw someone very interesting. Haven't you been watching?" Ryukyu replied.
Miruko replied. "The broccoli boy? I admit he is undoubtedly very skilled. However, I would like to witness his fighting abilities firsthand." She informed.
Ryukyu smirks, her voice laced with a hint of amusement. "Well, based on his impressive armed combat skills during the Paintball event, I can only assume his hand-to-hand combat skills are just as good. If that's the case, he'll be a formidable opponent in fights," she replies. "Nejire mentioned to me that she had witnessed him engage in combat, and she spoke highly of his skills, describing his performance as nothing short of amazing," she added.
Back to The Arena
"Ready boys?" Midnight asked.
"I'm ready to teach a punk which class is the best," Monoma replied in a haughty tone. Izuku stayed silent and narrowed his eyes, shifting into a ready stance.
"Start!" Midnight yelled, snapping her whip on her platform.
Monoma activated Three different Quirks: Engine, Explosion, and Hardening. He shut forward, but Izuku appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye with a fist cocked back; he hardened his face. Izuku's fist was encased in Armament Haki and Cerulean-blue energy coursing through it, slugging Monoma in the face hard; the hardening cracked and broke as he floored the other boy on the arena's floor with a broken nose.
Monoma got up with a groan. "You broke my nose!" he yelled, charging forward at a blazing speed. Izuku, acting quickly, sent a low to his lower legs, tripping and making him skid on the floor, but Izuku made an energy strand to keep him from getting eliminated. Monoma ran forward, throwing sloppy punches; Izuku just deftly sidestepped slightly and tilted his body away.
Izuku crouched under a swing and drove his elbow back into his stomach, a back-fist across the cheek, an elbow across the temple, a knee to the side, grabbing his head and throwing the boy on the floor with a turn.
"No technique, strategy, discipline, or control," Izuku finally spoke coldly. "Also, charging at someone without a plan for someone you don't know is just plain stupid," he finished.
Monoma launched explosions at him, but Izuku dodged them easily. Then, Monoma tried to speed over to him; Izuku sidestepped past the charge.
Izuku appeared in front of him and sent a barrage of solid and fast punches to his torso and face, a round kick in his ribs, grabbing an arm, wrapping him in a clinch, ramming a knee into his lower stomach, stepping back holding his arm and under his armpit, moving around into a stance, and throwing Monoma on the ground over his shoulder.
After a while, his wrists started to hurt, he was losing stamina and his ankles stalled. "What's happening?" Monoma questioned.
"It's a package deal. You can leech off of people's powers, but you also get their weaknesses to," Izuku explained. "By the way, your four minutes are up," he claimed as the Quirks wore off.
"How did you? " Monoma frowned, getting up shakily. He knew Izuku wasn't using his power, but he felt a sledgehammer had hit him.
"During the Cavalry battle, I watched everything, so I know your Quirk and the weakness. Your Quirk is: Copy," "But you can only use the Quirks you copy one at a time, also having a weak and poor-condition body, you can't use them well," he explained coldly.
"I can use any Quirk just fine," Monoma snapped.
"Oh yeah, prove it," Izuku stoically replied in a chilly voice. Then his right hand was covered in Electric-blue energy, and his left hand was covered in a mixture of Sapphire and Arctic-blue energy, which he gracefully combined. Then he willed the colors to change, and the energy turned midnight-blue.
He held out his hand engulfed in Midnight-blue energy. "Copy mine," Izuku beckoned; Monoma touched his hands, copying the energy.
"Yes, now I have the ultimate Quirk: the power to make people notice me and my greatness. I saw how strong this energy-like Quirk made a loser like you; now people will respect me and my class," Monoma bragged. "Now Fall," he glared and swung with a fist covered in midnight-blue energy, but the ego boy number 2, having no experience of how to use Izuku's Quirk, couldn't control the merged energy, and then the energy fluctuated before separating back to Artic, Sapphire and Artic-blue energies.
Izuku stood there and calmly blocked the fist by catching it with a single hand; the impact made a gust of wind, fluttering their clothes and hair. Izuku swung with a fist covered in Armament Haki and Midnight-blue energy.
With urgency, Monoma summoned a dim, electric-blue barrier around his body. As Izuku's fist connected with the shield, it shattered apart instantly like delicate glass, unable to withstand the sheer force of the blow. Monoma was sent staggering backward, landing unceremoniously on the ground several feet away.
"What's going on? Your Quirk is so weak!?" Monoma demanded.
"See what I mean? You can't use it properly," Izuku replied. Then his face turned serious, and his round-eye shape narrowed into a sharp, determined oval. Izuku's eyes glowed Admiral-blue, and an aura of Admiral-blue energy surged around him; as his hair became spikier, his hair and eyes turned glowing admiral-blue. The audience and heroes were stunned at the sudden change.
In the stands
Miruko smirked. "Now things are getting interesting," she proclaimed. Ryukyu observed the glowing boy.
"Odd, the power doesn't appear as strong as Nejire claimed," She frowned.
"Maybe because this boy is facing a wimp, he doesn't need to charge up," Miruko theorized.
Back to the Battle
"Didn't you have to shout out when you change?" Monoma sneered.
"Originally, yes, I had to command a power-up. However recently, I believed it was giving away what I was doing. So, during my training, I thought of a way to catch my opponent off guard without giving away the power-ups. Now, with a strong trigger, I can power up into a mode without saying it," Izuku explained. "That's what happens when you actually train; you can strengthen a Quirk and eventually evolve it," he said. "Although this isn't a power-up, it's just me using all aspects of my together. Bit of a waste of energy to power up for a loudmouth jerkface," he corrected.
Monoma swiped a hand, copying the energy, but instantly regretted it. His body collapsed; his muscles contorted with the strain. "What did you do?" he grunted in pain.
"I didn't do anything. You did it to yourself since you never trained. Your body and mind can't handle the strain of using all aspects; you tried that copying stunt like that on a power-up, and your body would tear apart," Izuku stated coldly as he powered down the aspects, his hair and eyes returning to normal.
"Easy for you to say; you awakened a Quirk that makes you powerful," Monoma shot back.
"If you honestly think I woke up one day and was powerful? Then you're an even bigger fool than I thought. I trained, studied, and worked hard with many trials and errors to get this strong," Izuku frowned. "Your body is too weak to handle Quirks because you never worked a day in your life other than being a pain in the ass," he finished.
The ground rumbled as Izuku started to charge up his energy, and a large surge of power erupted around him. "Let me show you what real power is, what power earned is like," Izuku said, narrowing his eyes. His hair levitated up, gaining a spikier look, and the edges glowed a metallic and midnight-blue. He continued to pour out his power into a gigantic and thick potent aura; metallic and midnight-blue-colored energy emerged, and the whole arena stage trembled and quaked.
Monoma sweated bullets as he was terrified at what he saw: a gigantic aura of energy and power, an image of Izuku in the center, his eyes a solid glowing metallic-blue. The aura of energy shrunk and merged around his form. The shaking stopped, but the pressure could still be felt.
"What you're seeing is a premature power-up," Izuku replied in a low and deep voice. "Now pay attention," he narrowed his gaze. Using emission and pressure from Haki, empowered and intensified with the metallic and midnight-blue energy of Supernatural Force into his right palm, he brought his hand onto the arena stage and focused on the arena in front of him and below; it cracked and split apart, from top to bottom, before breaking and collapsing.
Half of the arena stage was broken into a slope, with a terrified Monoma staring at him on the grass.
"M-Monoma is out of bounds; Izuku Midoriya advances!" Midnight announced. Izuku powered down and gazed at the boy.
"Remember this lesson and let it improve you, especially on character," Izuku said sternly. "Lastly, the strongest Quirk and sharpest sword in the world are useless in untrained hands. Work and move forward," he added.
"But people are mocking my class, and I hate being made fun of," Monoma replied.
"That's no excuse to disrespect others; people make petty comments to me all the time; I don't care what they think, they can go screw themselves," Izuku said seriously. "I suggest you don't listen to those comments and start working on yourself," he finished, leaving the stage.
4 hours later
The one-on-one battles. Izuku had watched every match with a calculating and cold gaze. He shook his head slightly with disappointment at Shoto's match, as he didn't use any plan at all, just threw a fit, freezing Sero.
He saw Kendo, Setsuna, Yui, Momo, and Jirou compete and was impressed by their improvement.
He saw the matchups, saw he would be called again, and left to the waiting room. Izuku was walking down the hall, and he stopped when he sensed a presence. The Number Two Hero, Endeavor, appeared from around a corner with a deep scowl.
"I thought I smelled fire; Endeavor pleased to meet you," Izuku faked, being polite.
"Ah, the glowing boy, I was looking for you," Endeavor spoke in a deep voice.
"Yeah? What do you want?" Izuku frowned.
"I must say you're very skilled and powerful; you will be a good test for him," Endeavor stated gruffly. "It is my son's duty to surpass All Might; since you're the Class President, make him use his left side," he ordered and walked off.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you that it's rude not to let someone talk before you walk away?" Izuku asked in a voice so cold it made an Arctic blizzard seem warm. "I admit Todoroki needs to stop holding back, so I'll be there to help him. But if you ever cause any more harm to him or his other family members, I'll teach you a lesson you won't ever forget," he warned him in a low and severe manner.
"What did you say?" Endeavor snarled.
"I said leave him and his family alone, or you'll be in a world of hurt. I find out you tried selling your kids to a Quirk Marriage or abusing them, and I'll beat you into the ground," Izuku replied.
"Is that a threat, boy? Do you know who I am—the flame hero and the next number one? Show me some respect," Endeavor bared his teeth as his flames flared up. Just then, a massive wave of pressure forced him onto his knees.
Izuku used Conqueror's Haki as he looked at the number 2 hero with a dark and bone-chilling gaze, forcing the disgrace of a hero on the ground; using Pressure, he took a threatening step forward, cracking the ground in a spiderweb pattern under his foot. "Respect is earned, not given; I don't respect people I just met," he said.
"And I don't make threats; that was a promise," replied Izuku in an even colder voice. Then he walked away but stopped and turned around with an even more frigid and menacing look, his round eyes narrowed into a fierce small oval shape, which sent a flicker of fear into the flame hero. "One last thing: those who ride on their high horse a long time, when knocked off, it's hard to regain it. So be careful because one day someone will take you down," he cautioned. Then the boy walked out the pressure lifted, and Endeavor was on his knees, sweating heavily.
"What was that pressure?" he frowned and went on his way.
Izuku was in his waiting room, breathing slowly. "What a disgusting person," he frowned deeply; he was using Observation Haki and could feel his thoughts. "Any moment longer, I would've pummeled him right there," he sighed.
"Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinso, make your war to the stage," The intercom spoke.
"Now for the second rounds: Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinso,"Present Mic announced. Both boys walked on stage. A Tall young man, 5ft 10, with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head. His eyes are purple with white pupils and are thin and somewhat triangular, pointing downward, with no clear eyelashes. Half-closed, and he has dark eye bags underneath them.
"Begin!" Midnight instructed.
"I must say I'm impressed with your Quirk: Brainwashing; you'd be a valuable asset for evacuating streets and interrogations," Izuku spoke politely.
"So you figured out my Quirk, huh?" Hitoshi replied in a stoic voice. "Did monkey boy tell you?" he questioned.
"Never had to. I figured it out on my own by watching," Izuku replied.
"Okay, turn around and walk out," Hitoshi ordered, activating his Quirk.
"That's right. You need your opponent to talk for your Quirk to work," Izuku said, then walked forward. "Sadly, I won't be controlled that easily," he added, stopping five feet from the young man.
"How can you resist my Quirk? No one has ever done that?" Hitoshi questioned, puzzled about what was happening.
"Simple, I Strengthened my body and mind; you only train one thing; you're out of balance," Izuku explained. "A strong mind and body are formidable when everything has been trained just as much as a Quirk; everything is in harmony when they're all worked on and strengthened. In short, I can shrug off mental attacks," he finished.
"Why are you being so kind when I have a villainous Quirk?" Hitoshi questioned with a scowl.
"Why would you think that?" Izuku asked.
"It's because I was told that in my old school," Hitoshi scoffed.
"This school wouldn't have happened to be Aldera Junior High by any chance?" Izuku raised a brow.
"How did you know?" Hitoshi replied, stunned.
"Where did you think I went? I was at that crap school too. There was talk about a student with a brainwashing Quirk," Izuku explained.
"What a minute! There were tales of a quirkless rebellious student beating down students, talking back and arguing with teachers, and even the principal and other students started fighting back; that was you?" Hitoshi questioned.
"The one and the same. Although rumors of me beating down classmates is a bit of an exaggeration, I was defending people who appeared to have villain Quirks, in Quirkist terms: weak Quirks or Quirkless in general. Besides, those teachers, classmates, and Principal were a bunch of pathetic, Quirkist, biased, scummy, discriminative assholes," Izuku corrected.
"Did you activate your Quirk after that school?" Hitoshi asked.
"No, I have had them since I was four, so I have had them for years. I just wasn't talking about it; unlike those band of villains, I didn't want to flash my Quirk in our old school to amaze someone's ego or be an attention seeker. Unlike them, I live by principles, and one of those is: Don't flaunt and show off your Quirk for personal gain, so I kept mine Quiet," Izuku explained. "Besides, they weren't worthy of seeing my Quirk," he finished Coldly.
"I never listened to the criticism and discriminative comments, nor should you," Izuku encouraged. "And since I know your Quirk, I'll give you the same courtesy. I'll tell you a bit about mine, do you remember what I did during the Cavalry battle?" he questioned.
"When you shut down everyone's Quirk?" Hitoshi asked.
"No before that," Izuku corrected.
"I did see you switch people's body parts around," Hitoshi replied.
"Well, that's the least of what that aspect can do," Izuku said.
"That aspect? How many do you have?" Hitoshi asked.
"Well now? Eight in total; the Admiral-blue colored energy, as I said before, was me using all aspects together," Izuku explained. "The one I used during the Cavalry Battle is the newest and last aspect It is called Deceiver; what it does I can bend the minds of the arrogant, narrow-minded, and self-centered sense of realty to any I imagine, as they get deceived by their narrowminded sights," he explained.
"But what about the engine for legs-guy? He isn't arrogant, is he?" Hitoshi wondered.
"No, he's straight as an arrow, but he was with someone with a narrow mind. It didn't matter if Iida was arrogant or not; he was involved in the team, so it affected him too," Izuku said.
"But you were calm and collected when you used it in a high-pressure position," Hitoshi noted. "Does that mean this aspect runs differently?" he questioned.
"You would be correct; I can't use this aspect like the others. I can only activate Deceiver if people around are wrapped up in their narrow-sighted world, and I can't use it when I get worked up, so I have to stay centered and calm," Izuku stated. "Nonetheless it is still as strong as the other aspects because I can bend their reality to my will, or I can trap them into their world; they think they are safe in a false sense of security, then that is when I tear their reality apart," he said
"It's one of those things that work passive-aggressively," he added. "So tell me. Does deceiving or warping someone's reality physically or mentally sound heroic?" he questioned.
"No Aldera or the judgmental would call that villainous," Hitoshi replied. "But you wouldn't have cared what they thought," he smirked.
"Nope in fact," Izuku turned to the cameras. "If Aldera Junior High staff and students watching think my aspect is for villains, then Eff you Bitches," he stated coldly, giving the camera the double bird; he turned to Shinso.
"So, let me see how strong it is," Izuku instructed.
"My Quirk?" Hitoshi raised a brow.
"Yeah, and remember, don't be afraid of your gift," Izuku replied.
"But it didn't work on you; what's the point?" Hitoshi questioned.
"Don't worry. I lowered my defenses; it should work on me now," Izuku assured.
"Alright, stand ready like a soldier private," Hitoshi ordered, activating his Quirk again; this time, Izuku's eyes turned gray and shrunk, and he stood attentively, saluting Hitoshi.
"Yes, Captain," Izuku replied.
"At ease," Hitoshi said, and Izuku relaxed. "Now, what deepest secret do you have, what no one knew about you growing up?" he asked.
"When I was a kid, I took nudie and swimsuit magazines from recycling containers behind my apartment, more so of the heroines of past and present. Several are my favorite heroines: Miruko, Nana Shimura, Ryukyu, WWPC'S, Burnin, and my personal favorite of all, which shouldn't be a shock to anyone, the temptress and mistress of the night, the R-rated heroine: Ms Midnight, which gave me many funny dreams," Izuku announced to the whole world.
Present Mic barely could keep from laughing. Aizawa hid his laughter in his sleeping back, and the classes were awed, stunned, and embarrassed by the deep secret; some of the girls of 1a and B were envious.
Toshinori just chuckled between coughs, and Mitsuki just laughed her butt off. Inko was stunned at the secret, as her colder-than-ice son had a secret of this magnitude.
His girlfriends were steaming with jealousy. The heroine's mentioned blushed wildly, and Midnight smirked with her cheeks pink, wondering if she had a better chance after hearing this information.
Then Izuku broke out of the trance. "Damn it, Hitoshi, I know I let you in. But did you have to ask me that?" he frowned. "For the record, it was just some stupid faze; I stopped doing that when I was 10; I took them to my camp and threw them into a bonfire, and I grew out of that thing," he explained.
"I didn't stop it yet, and you broke out if it just like that?" Hitoshi questioned, baffled.
"I could've escaped it anytime I wanted, but I chose to let you show your gift," Izuku said.
"How aren't you like that grape creep?" Hitoshi asked.
"My mom raised me to respect women and not fall for them for their bodies but for who they are," Izuku answered. "However, to be honest, I think I stopped those habits when I saw girls or boys try to use them for their benefit, only to get their one-night stand and kick her or him to the curb. I lost interest in girls and dating, so I quit that habit like a smoker giving up cigarettes," he informed Hitoshi.
"So you want to finish with a fight?" Hitoshi said, getting serious.
"Gladly," Izuku said, getting serious and getting into a fighting stance. Hitoshi was ready to swing but was knocked down by a punch to the jaw, dropping him; he shook off the sting.
"Do you have sledgehammers for fists?" Hitoshi questioned and swung back, but his attempt was parried and stopped. Izuku stepped to the front at an angle with a sweep-kick, grabbed his arm and collar, stepped down on his knee with a turn, flipped Hitoshi on the ground, and rolled forward, placing the other boy in a sleeper hold.
"I'd advise you to learn some fighting skills in case your Quirk doesn't work. If you need a hand with that, ask Ojiro, Kendo, Aizawa, or if you want to, ask me," Izuku advised softly and gently, then chopped him in the back of the neck, knocking him out.
"With that said, good job. Even lacking fighting skills, you didn't give up. You showed courage, and for that, you have my respect," Izuku acknowledged. "I'll tell you that to your face when you're awake though," he said.
"Hitoshi is down, and Izuku moves on," Midnight announced.
