~Todoroki's POV~
I was walking down the hall of the hospital heading towards L/N room with some red and white tulips. I had told Fuyumi what happened. She recommended that I get L/N flowers, yet she insisted on getting them white and red. I was getting close to her room when I heard yelling.
"Y/N stop! You're ok please calm down. Y/N WAKE UP!" I heard a man yell.
"AAAAA"
That was Y/N's voice just now. I started sprinting and opened the door where the yelling was coming from. I opened the door and I saw a man dressed in a blue suit hovering over L/N. "Y/N WAKE UP PLEASE" he yelled again, and L/N kept flailing and yelling.
"NO AAAA" she yelled. The room was hot and that's when I saw that L/N body was starting to glow red. I ran towards her and extended my right-hand making snow to start to cover her. She calmed down a bit. I put the tulips down and pressed my right hand on her forehead making my hand cold.
"You're ok! Breath!" I told her. She calmed down and the room temperature went back to normal.
"T-thank you, um who are you?" the man who was in the room asked. He was tanned with blue eyes. His hair was up in a Ponytail and he had a goatee.
"My name is Shoto Todoroki sir, I am L/N classmate. Are you her doctor?" I asked
"Oh no. I'm her father. My name is Arnook L/N" he said. He didn't look anything like L/N. "I'm going to get a doctor to let them know what happened" he said as he left the room. I looked around the room and saw an empty vase in the corner.
"to-todo-roki" I heard L/N say I turned to look at her expecting her to be awake, but she was still sound asleep. I felt that weird feeling in my stomach and I could tell my face was heating up. I took a deep breath and took the vase to fill it with water. When I came out of the bathroom with the vase full of water, I saw Recovery Girl next to a scrawny man with messy blond hair.
"You said you had to heal her wings separately from her body?" the man asked.
"Yes. It's as if her wings are separate from her body, almost like they aren't hers" Recovery Girl said. I was about to ask what she meant but she said. "Also, the bones in her wings aren't hollow making them too heavy. She shouldn't be able to fly with wings like that. But it also means that her wings are abnormally strong, speaking volumes of that monster you faced"
He faced? What is she talking about?
"Excuse me, Recovery Girl?" I said and they both flinched.
"Oh h-hi sunny. What can I do for yah?" she asked, trying to play off the fact that I scared her.
"How is L/N doing? Will she be waking up soon?" I asked and looked at them while I placed the flowers I brought for L/N in a vase.
"She recovered well; she will be sleeping for a while but there are a few tests we would like to run before we let her return to school" Recovery Girl said. The door opened revealing a tall slim woman with a small girl. She looked like L/N dad but with white hair like the women.
"Oh hello, wow Y/N sure has a lot of visitors." The women said. "Hi, I'm her mother, and this is Yue, Y/N younger sister" she said.
'Strange none of them looked like L/N at all, she had s/c and h/l h/c hair.' The little girl ran to the bed and tried climbing on it, but it was too high for her to get on by herself. I helped her up.
"She's still sleeping," I told her. She looked at me with bright blue eyes. Nothing like L/N e/c eyes.
"Hey, you're that handsome guy onee-san talks about, right?" she asked with curious eyes. I felt my face heat up.
"I am Shoto Todoroki," I said, trying to introduce myself. "I am one of her classmates"
"Oh, you being here must mean UA cancelled classes then" the women responded.
"We should get going. Ms. L/N there are some tests we would like to conduct to monitor her recovery" said recovery girl.
"Oh yes, my husband had to return home, but I'll make sure to let him know" with that both Recovery Girl and the scrawny man left. "So, what brings you by?" L/N mom asks.
"I came by to see how she was doing. She did save my life during the attack" I explained.
"She did? Are you quirkless too then?" the little girl asked.
"Uh no I'm not" I told her.
"OH onee-san said she would always protect those who are quirkless like me. So why did she protect you?" she asked again.
'So, her sister is quirkless.'
"Uh excuse us, sorry to eavesdrop. We came by to see how L/N is doing" Uraraka said from the door. Midoriya and Iida were with her, but Midoriya had a weird look in his eye while looking at the little girl. They had brought flowers and balloons in with them.
"I never knew Y/N had made so many friends in such a short amount of time" her mom said.
"W-well I'm m-mainly h-here because she saved m-my life" said Midoriya.
"YOU TOO!" screamed the little girl. Both the girl and L/N's mother eyes were wide with surprise. "wait. Your Midoriya! Onee-san said you remind her of me. You must be Uraraka, she's happy you two are friends" Yue went on with a smile. "You have glasses so you must be Iida" she said, and Iida smiled with a hint of pride. "Onee-san doesn't like you very much," she said pouting. Iida's face dropped a bit and Uraraka and Midoriya giggled a bit.
That's when I saw a leg move kicking Yue off the bed. "Yue you talk too much" a weak voice said. We all looked over and saw L/N was awake.
"Hey guys, what's with those sad looks" she said while smiling. Midoriya started to cry.
~Y/N's point of view~
Soon as I said those words Deku started to cry. I can't say I was surprised; he was crying infront of the villains too.
"Onee-san!" Yue yelled as she ran to the side of the bed. I patted her head and she just leaned into it.
"L/N" Iida said, and he walked closer to the bed. He bowed deeply "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. I should have let you get reinforcements. If I had stayed, you wouldn't have gotten hurt. Instead I made you stay and used your position as class deputy to feel as though you needed to protect everyone"
"Iida, I would have protected them even if you didn't ask me to," I told him, smiling slightly. "Besides, you saw All Might on your way there. If I would have flown, I probably would have missed him on my way there. More of us would have gotten hurt or even killed is it wasn't for that"
"Thank you for saying that L/N" Iida said.
"How did you guys know what hospital I was at? Wait what about Aizawa Sensei!?" I asked trying to get up but fell back due to my muscles aching.
"O-oh" Deku started but the room got gloomy. "His arms aren't in good condition, and with his skull having a fracture they're not sure how it's going to affect his eyesight"
"I see and 13? I got a glimpse of her when you guys were splinting my wings"
"13 is going to be ok. A few injuries on her back but will make a full recovery," Uraraka told me with a sad smile.
"Y/N you're class deputy? Why didn't you tell us your teacher made you a class deputy?" my mom asked, trying to change the gloomy mood in the room.
"Well you guys went on a date night. You came home really late that day"
"She wasn't made deputy by Aizawa sensei, she was elected by the class" Todoroki said.
My mom was genuinely shocked. I barely had one friend in junior high yet here were 4 classmates making sure I was ok. Now they're telling her I was elected BY the class to be class deputy, I'm sure she barely recognizes me.
"Yup! I voted for her" said Uraraka.
"Oh, me too," added Deku.
"Same here" Iida said, raising his hand.
"I as well," Todoroki said while looking at me. I heard the door open.
"THE HELL YOU EXTRAS DOING HERE?!" a familiar yell rang in the room. I looked over and saw Bakugou and Kirishima at the door. Bakugou was holding a teddy bear that had a sign that said, 'Get Well Soon'. Although I would be surprised if its head wasn't ripped off from the grip that blond had on it. No one was really surprised at the blondes' rage, but my sister was hiding behind my mom who was visibly upset.
"Bakugou calm down, you're scaring the kid" Kirishima said while pointing at Yue.
"Good to see you too Bakugou" I said sitting up on my bed. My body was sore, so I ended up flinching a bit. Todoroki noticed and sat on the bed putting his left hand on my shoulder.
"Don't push yourself, you should be asleep right now" he said. I just gave him a smile and looked back at Bakugou who entered the room.
"How are you doing L/N?" Kirishima asked.
"Been better" I say simply. Todoroki's hand still on my shoulder.
"Maybe next time don't get in the way, dumbass!" he says, and he tosses me the bear. "here it was Kirishima's idea to get you something"
"Thanks? I think" I tell him. The bear was cute.
"You should be more respectful Bakugou. L/N saved your life too" Iida said with his chopping motion. Bakugou growled clearly, not happy that I saved him.
"It's fine Iida," I say, picking up the bear "this here is proof enough that he's grateful" I say holding back a giggle. Todoroki had a visible frown while looking at the bear. I was about to ask what was wrong when the doctor came in.
"Wow she sure has a lot of visitors. Ah! You're awake? You shouldn't have woken up until late tomorrow evening" she said.
"Oh, I feel fine, just sore. When can I go home?" I ask her
"Well we need to run some tests before releasing you. But due to how bad your wings were broken you will need to stay at least 3 more days" she said.
"3 days?!" I asked, "Why so long?"
"Well your injuries were quite serious. I'm surprised you're not in pain your wings aren't completely healed" He said while looking at his tablet. I looked up and saw they were wrapped up in bandages and some wood planks.
"When will I be able to go back to classes then?" I was afraid of the answer.
"Oh, once you're discharged you should stay home for at least a week. Your body will be tired after the treatments from Recovery girl." He explained.
'Oh no I'm going to miss so much material from school.'
"I can come by and drop off any schoolwork" Todoroki offered.
"Ah that would be great thank you Todoroki" I said. His only response was a nod. He started digging into his pockets and pulled out his cell phone and handed it to me. I gave him a confused look.
"I need your phone number to let you know when I'm coming over. Also, to get your address I know which way to go but I don't know where you live" he said. I was so embarrassed at the fact that I didn't understand that immediately.
"O-oh right!" I quickly typed in my number and had it call mine. I heard the ring tone and my mom handed it to me. "Ok now I have yours saved too"
"Oh, can someone do me a favor?" I asked around the room.
"I can do it," Todoroki said.
"Well you know how I usually eat outside; well I made a friend there. We've only eaten together about 3 times but I'm sure he might get worried if I don't show up next week" I said Todoroki's face had a small frown but didn't say anything. "Just let them know I'm here and give them my phone number in case they wanna check in on me"
"Ok. What's his name?" Todoroki asked.
"uhhh…." I stared blankly at the bed. "I don't remember"
"Seriously? Y-you remembered m-mine from when you saved me from Kacchan" Deku said while pointing at the blond.
"WHAT YOU SAY YOU DAMN NERD!?" he yelled out again. I threw the teddy bear he gave me right at his face. "THE HELL YOU THROW THAT FOR?"
"SHUT UP! We're in a hospital!" I yelled at him. "Deku the only reason I knew yours is because I looked at your ID card during the entrance exams"
"Yea onee-san is bad with names" Yue commented.
"Yeah, it might be because she never really had friends," my mom added.
"MOM!" I looked at her completely mortified. A teddy bear hit me straight in the face.
"We're in a hospital," said Bakugou. I just glared at him.
"ANYWAYS, I don't remember his name, but he has purple hair and eyes. His eyes look tired too like he never really sleeps much. Honestly, he kinda reminds me of Aizawa Sensei," I explained.
"Alright I'll see if I can find him" Todoroki said in a monotone voice.
"Hey L/N can I have your number too?" asked Uraraka.
"Sure! Anyone else?" I asked and almost simultaneously everyone pulled out their phones, well except for Bakugou.
