I managed to find Todoroki right before he left the waiting room.

"Hey I came to wish you luck for the fight," I said to him as he walked towards the door.

"Thank you but there really is no need to" he answered. He walked past me and kept walking towards the exit.

"Deku won his fight so you'll be up against him if you win this one," I said as I walked behind him. My feathers ruffled up and by their quiver, I knew who was nearby.

"So Midoriya won, huh?" he looked back at me and saw that I had stopped with a dark expression on my face. He gave me a look asking what was wrong, he then started walking towards me and I walked towards him.

Once he was closer I whispered to him "Your dad is around that corner," I said extremely low I was surprised he heard me at all.

"Go back to the stands," he said with a serious expression and I only nodded knowing there was no reason to try and argue. He turned around to leave but I grabbed his arm before he did.

"What?" he asked sharply, he sounded irritated and impatient.

"Uh… nothing. Nevermind" I said. What was I going to do? Give him a pep talk, a great speech. His dad was around the corner how could I.

I let go of his arm and started walking back towards the stands where my class would be.

"You're in my way." I heard Shoto's voice in the distance. I kept going until I reached my class section.

"Oh hey sorry!" Kaminari said almost bumping into me.

"It's fine. Going to go prepare for the fight?" I asked him.

"Y-yeah," he mumbled out.

"Good luck! You'll be great" I tell him then I walked over to my class. I walked up to the front where Iida and Ochaco were.

"Hey did you go see Midoriya?" asked Iida.

"No, I went to go find Todoroki and wish him good luck. Although I kinda wished I found Sero to do the same but unfortunately I didn't get to" I told him.

"Hey L/N," I heard Ojiro call out towards me. "You know that Shinso kid right?"

"Yes, I do. I consider him a friend" I tell him flatly.

"He," Ojiro pauses as if he's thinking how to word his sentence properly. "He isn't forcing you to be friends with him is he?". To say that came as a shock would be an understatement.

"Of course not Ojiro! How could you say that about him?" I asked him with disbelief in my voice.

"Well, his quirk is brainwashing. I don't want you being forced into a friendship you don't want" Ojiro said worriedly. I couldn't tell if he was genuinely concerned for me or if it was Shinso he doubted.

"I appreciate the concern but Shinso isn't a bad person. I know he used his brainwashing on you during the cavalry battle and your pride is hurt but you know he's trying to be a hero" I tell him.

"THIS GOES BEYOND THAT!" Ojiro raised his voice. "We could have easily been hurt-"

"BUT YOU WEREN'T! He made sure you weren't he knew he was responsible for your bodies while you were under his brainwashing. He's working twice as hard than any of us to not only become a hero but to prove that he can be one," I told him.

"Uh… guys?" I heard a small squeak coming from behind Ojiro. It was Midoriya and Shinso was with him. Shinso kept a stoic expression and I couldn't tell what he was thinking. Ojiro on the other hand was visibly stiff.

"Shinso…" I whispered out.

He just sighed while closing his eyes. "L/N you don't need to defend me"

I opened my mouth to respond but Ojiro's tail stopped me from answering.

"Have you used your quirk on L/N?" Ojiro asked. I pushed his tail away and stayed quiet.

"I have" Shinso answered calmly.

Ojiro looked back at me concerned and then back at Shinso. "So you're forcing her to be your friend?"

'I already told you no Ojiro' I thought to myself.

"No, I'm not. My quirk doesn't let me have a lasting effect on people. Even if I did tell her to be my friend while she's under the effect of my quirk she wouldn't remember anything once I release my quirk on her" Shinso said.

'That's not entirely true. I remembered everything that happened when he was asking me all those questions. I'll have to talk to him later about that'

"L/N aren't you the least bit concerned that he used his quirk on you?" he asked desperately for me to see how dangerous Shinso could be.

"No, I'm not. You just used your quirk on me," I deadpanned at him. His eyes got wide with confusion. "Your tail. You used it to stop me from talking. Does that mean I should be worried about you too?" I asked Ojiro.

"N-no"

"Ojiro I understand your concern and I am really grateful that you worry about me. But I am not the only friend Shinso has made in this class. Isn't that right Deku?" I asked my green-haired friend who was standing next to Shinso.

Deku just furiously shook his head, yes and Shinso stared at him a bit confused. I was wondering how he hadn't broken his neck. With a giggle, I just motioned for us to sit in the front and watch the new match that was about to start.

After a brilliant introduction from Present Mic, it was finally time to see Sero and Todoroki fight. Sero was stretching and as soon as the match began he taped Todoroki's knees together and his arms to his sides. Right after he started pushing him out of bounds. I was a bit shocked seeing how quick Sero was. But he wasn't fast enough. Todoroki launched a giant ice attack towards him freezing him instantly. The stadium started shaking.

I thought it was going to stop at the end of the arena but it didn't. Some of the ice spikes he created were coming right towards the stands. I opened my wings and redirected the spikes upwards. The strength of the attack was so rough I held my breath due to the focus I had to do to make sure the spikes didn't hurt anyone.

"Sero, can you move?" I heard Midnight ask over the speaker.

"Is everyone ok?" I turned around to look at my classmates. They were so stunned about the attack that some didn't answer, even Bakugou was a bit shaken even though he would never admit it. Deku was in his seat as if his soul had left his body, even Iida had his glasses at the end of his nose. Everyone seemed fine. I flew over to the stands next to us to check on class 1-B.

"Sero is immobilized! Todoroki advances to the second round" Midnight announced.

"Is everyone alright over here?" I asked perching myself on the railing looking around towards the class. They were the same as my class, a bit shaken up by the ice that was coming their way.

"Yeah, we're ok" Kendo, their class representative answered. I let out a sigh of relief knowing no one was hurt.

"I'm glad I was able to move the ice upwards in time. If anyone did get hurt or isn't feeling well please go see Recovery Girl," I told them as I took off again going towards my class.

"Don't worry about it" was being chanted over and over from the spectators.

"I'm going to see if they would like my help getting rid of all this ice," I tell my class before I turn around.

"Wait L/N," I heard Shinso call out. I turn back around and perch myself on the railing.

"Yes?"

"You should save your strength. Let the staff handle this," Shinso said to me. I thought about it and I knew it would be what was best for me but how could I let the staff deal with this when I would help this go along a lot faster.

"Shinso's right L/N let the staff deal with this. Keep your strength for your battles," Deku added.

"Your desire to help the staff is admirable L/N. However, I believe they are right and you should save your strength for your battle. We are here to get scouted Afterall" Iida said. I hated that they were right. I scowled a bit and jumped off the railing and took a seat.

"I know you're right. I'll stay here," I said. "Iida you should go prepare. Your battle is up next" I tell him. Sure enough, the ice was melted and the stage was dry.

Iida and the support course girl who was on Deku's team were on stage ready for their fight. But Iida had a weird looking backpack on. Midnight then told him if he wanted to use equipment that he needed to put in a petition for it. After some back and forth Midnight decided to let Iida keep the equipment since his opponent didn't seem to have any issues with it. I looked over at Deku and he had a notebook out.

"Hey what are you doing?" I asked him.

"Oh it's my hero analysis notebook," Deku said. I looked at the beat-up notebook and saw he had an entry for Iida. That's when I remembered that when I first met him he had a similar notebook and he made an entry about me.

"Oh, I've seen this before. When I first met you, you pulled one of these out and had an entry about me,'' I said remembering how he started asking so many questions about my quirk. I looked back to the stage and the battle had begun.

Well, it wasn't really a battle it was more of a presentation of Hatsume's inventions. One after another she kept pulling out hero equipment that she had developed. Iida kept running at her trying to get an attack in but she would move out of the way just in time.

The equipment he had on helped with his balance and made it easier for him to move. However, his movements were so erratic it was funny. I was trying to stay serious but after seeing Iida get captured with a net I couldn't contain my laughter anymore. I was most likely the only one laughing but just the way she was showing the crowd her equipment was comedic gold for me.

For 10 minutes straight it was Iida chasing after Hatsume while she kept presenting her inventions. Once she was finally done she simply stepped out of bounds giving the win to Iida.

"Hatsume Mei has stepped out of bounds. Iida advances to the second round" Midnight announced. At that point, the comedic aspect of the presentation was long gone and I actually felt a bit bad for Iida. I saw him start yelling at Hatsume and the only thing I could hear was how he said "I hate you!"

Although they were complete opposites of each other I thought they complimented each other well. Deku kept mumbling beside me as he wrote in his notebook. I decided it was time for me to go prepare for my own fight.

I was walking down the hall when I saw that Ochaco had also left the stands to prepare.

'Strange her match isn't until much later' I thought to myself. I saw her go into the player waiting room number too but when I saw her face I knew what was happening. 'She's going up against Bakugou… She must be so scared. I should leave her be to collect her nerves. I don't want to say anything to make her nerves worst'

I kept walking and went into player waiting room number 1. I wasn't expecting it but Todoroki was in the room.

"Oh hi Todoroki," I greeted him.

"Oh hello L/N. What are you doing here?" Todoroki asked in his usually monotone voice.

"Iida's battle just finished and mine is right after this one coming up," I told him. "I just came here to prepare" I went ahead and sat down across from him the table between us.

"Oh, I didn't notice how much time had passed"

"I guess you were really focusing on your next match. You are going up against Deku"

"Yes I am" he responded.

"Why haven't you gotten back to the class to watch the other matches?" I asked him curiously.

"I wanted some time alone to calm my anger. I ended up going overboard on Sero. Hence why I stayed here, but I didn't realize how much time had passed"

"Oh, so that's why the attack you did on Sero seemed so powerful. You let out your frustration at the moment. Makes sense," I say giving Todoroki a smile. It got quiet and I let my mind wander. I was going up against Yaoyorozu, after our argument I was more than sure that she wouldn't be holding back.

'I am one of Todoroki's potential brides. That sentence keeps bothering me. Todoroki saw how bad his parent's quick marriage was. So wouldn't he be against this arranged marriage? Only one way to find out'

"Hey Todoroki," I call out to him. He doesn't say anything he just turns to look at me "I apologize in advance for asking this but; Are you against arranged marriages?" I finally manage to say.

He looked at me with a confused look as if I should already know this "Yes" he answered curtly.

"Then…" I couldn't say it. I was entirely confused about the situation. If he was against arranged marriages then why would Yaoyorozu have said what she said?

"L/N what is it? Something is clearly bothering you. You usually don't show this amount of emotion on your face" he said. I didn't realize how comfortable I felt around Todoroki. I usually kept a straight face back in Junior high so the bullies would just leave me alone.

"Yes, you're right. I've gotten very comfortable around you Todoroki, I guess I feel like I can let my guard down when you're around hence why my feelings are showing at the moment. But something that Yaoyorozu said bothers me" I tell him truthfully. "We had an argument. I confronted her about being so curt with me and she practically admitted she was jealous of how much time I spend with you. She said she was one of your potential brides but you're against quirk marriages so now I'm just confused" I finish off.

I looked over and he seemed just as confused as me.

'Was she lying?' I thought to myself. I noticed his fists starting to shake slightly. 'Oh no… should i have kept quiet?'

"L/N I don't plan to marry someone because of their quirk. I will marry the person I fall in love with," he said confidently. I was a bit taken aback I had never heard him talk with so much emotion. He stood up abruptly "I need to go find Yaoyorozu and speak to her," he said. He was still shaking so I stood up quickly.

"I'll go find her for you. I know you're worked up just try to calm down as I bring her here" I said and left the room quickly. Once outside I let out a breath and started to walk back towards the class; however, Yaoyorozu was heading towards the player waiting rooms.

"Yaoyorozu-" I began but was cut off by her.

"Save your declaration of war," she said quickly. I kept my face expressionless but man she really pisses me off with that high and mighty act.

"I just wanted to let you know Todoroki is looking for you, he wants to talk to you," I told her.

"H-he does?" she said excitedly.

"Yeah he's in player room number 1 bu-" I was about to warn her it wasn't anything good but she just took off. Letting her go without warning is just mean, but I decided to just head back to the stands. As I walked towards my class I ended up bumping into Tetsutetsu. I thought he was going to say something instead he just looked at the ground and kept walking.

As I sat down next to Deku I saw that the match between Mina and Tokoyami had started. The match finished as quickly as it started. Mina tried her best to defend and attack but dark shadow was simply too quick for her. Every attack she threw dark shadow simply moved out of the way. Just a brief moment Mina was just at the edge seeming like she wasn't going to fall out of bounds, yet she still did making Tokoyami move onto the second round.

"Tokoyami's dark shadow is just too fast for Mina" Deku started to say.

"If they would have gone into hand-to-hand combat I think Tokoyami would have been in trouble," I say. Both Tokoyami and Mina were leaving the stage.

"So you remember too right L/N," Deku asked.

"Her results on the quirk assessment on the first day," I tell Deku.

"That's right. Mina's physical strength is a force to be reckoned with. She scored in the top 10 just like you L/N. Even with all the guys you two scored really high," he said.

I hadn't realized that my match was starting until I heard Present Mic "It seems we're missing a contestant,"

"Oh shoot my match! I completely forgot!" I said. I then turned around and jumped over the railing extending my wings to fly down. As I made my way to the stage I heard Present Mic introduce me.

"Ah, there she is! What an entrance from UA's Angel! Not only did she score 1st in the entrance exams but she saved her class from Villians. From the hero course the graceful angel of UA Y/N L/N!"

'Oh wow, that was some introduction! It's a little embarrassing' I thought to myself. I was going to make a super cool hero landing but being introduced as graceful I just landed as gracefully as I possibly could.

"Verses! All-Purpose creation! She was admitted through recommendations so her abilities are certified! Also from the Hero course, It's Momo Yaoyorozu"

I looked over at Yaoyorozu and her eyes were completely fixated on me. I could tell she still had some anger directed towards me. I couldn't keep giving her the same stoic face. If this keeps up nothing will ever change. Instead, I soften my look and throw her a smile.

"Good Luck Yaoyorozu" I yelled over to her and she looked at me genuinely surprised.

"SIXTH MATCH START!"
