Chapter 5 Till Death do us part
Vergil made his decision to rescue Rias, shortly after the doorbell rings. Vergil and Akeno were curious about who that could be at this hour.
*Doorbell Ring SFX*
"I'll get the door. You rest up and prepare what you need." Tio leaving the room.
Tio closed Vergil's door and headed downstairs to answer the door. A well dressed man in a suite was waiting outside. He had a nicely trimmed beard and had an eye patch over his right eye.
"Kept you waiting huh?" Mysterious Man asked.
"Not at all. Thank you for coming." Tio replied
"I was out of the country at the time and had to take care of a few things. I have to thank you for your help."
"I couldn't stand by and do nothing. It's the least I could do and I know you had a lot going on giving your position."
"You have my thanks. Anyway, I have this for you. Open it as soon as you can when you're alone." Mysterious man hands Tio a package envelope.
"Is this?" Tio asked.
*Nods his heads*
"I will be leaving for the Demon World for a bit. I will look into it before I go."
"Don't worry, the Demon King invited me to the wedding reception that he is also attending."
"What a coincidence. I will be attending as well."
"I'll give you more details when we meet up there."
"Oh before I forget, I have something for you as well. Wait right here."
"Alright."
The Mysterious Man walks in and waits by the front door. He looks around and admires the home Tio has built for herself. Tio comes back with a small box.
"I got you this as a thank you for the troubles. It's your favorite kind." Tio hands him a small box with a bow tied on the box.
"Thank you. I didn't think they would have these here." Mysterious man opens the box and its Cuban cigars. He takes one out and Tio lights it for him.
*Exhales upwards*
"Have you ever considered switching to the electric one? They say it's just as good." Tio asked
"Nah, I don't like imitations." Mysterious man replied.
The mysterious man looked up towards the stairs and gave a small grin with the cigar in his mouth. The man began to head towards the door and Tio walked him out.
"Will he be there as well?" The man asked.
"Of course." Tio replied.
"Well then, this party won't be so boring. I look forward to seeing him." The man smiled and left.
The mysterious man walked down the road with the moon falling on the horizon. The light from the moon revealed a large dragon shadow on the street as he was walking down. Since the end of the Engagement Game, Rias and Akeno kept having strange nightmares that left them worried about future events and with Vergil.
Akeno Dream
Akeno found herself walking through a field on a clear sunny day like any other day. The sun began to set and the area began to darken. After the sun went down the area was completely dark. The was a home set on fire that lit the whole area and then died out. A small light came and surrounded Akeno. A dark blue light appeared in the distance. Akeno began to walk towards it. While walking to the dark blue light a pile of demonic bodies cut up were along the path. The closer she got, the more bodies piled up. Akeno wondered who left the bodies here and why are there so many. Akeno began to see a figure where the dark blue light was. It began to take the shape of someone she knew. Vergil.
"Raiden-kun?" Akeno asked.
However he turned around but could not see her for some reason. Akeno noticed the light that was surrounding her was out and another dark figure appeared behind her. A dark angel figure with wings and red eyes glowing appeared and stuck them both down. The next moment, something was pulling Akeno towards the Dark Angel and she could not break free. Vergil ran towards her to set her free but was struck down again. Akeno tried to reach out to him but was not able to reach him. Akeno was still being pulled towards the dark angel and still unable to break free. A dark purple light began to emit from Vergil and his eyes were also glowing red. He began to transform into a monstrous demon and began to grow. After the transformation was complete the one she knew was no longer there and only a darker creature was before her.
"No, Raiden-kun!" Akeno cried out.
The demon extended his hand gathering energy and the dark figure with wings did the same. They both fired a massive ball of demonic energy. The explosion wiped both of them out. Akeno was the only one left from the conflict. Blue energy particles of some kind surrounded Akeno and lit the place up. A message began to form.
"Do not let the light go out or you will lose him." The message read. Akeno wakes up from the nightmare and the strange warning it brought.
Rias Dream
Rias also had a similar dream that night. She was walking through a field and the area went dark. The burning house also appeared and then burned to the ground shortly after. Rias also had a pillar of light on her as well. Rias found herself out in the ocean with no sign of land anywhere. A small light was emitted from the ocean. She began to walk towards it. The closer she got ,the clearer she could see a body drifting in the ocean all alone. Rias found what looked like Vergil dress in heavy armor that she could not recognize. The face was gray with veins popping out. The eyes were just glowing red. The only thing she could recognize was the amulet that looks identical to one Vergil gave Akeno when they were young but the color was faded. A red light flashed blinding Rias momentarily. The light that was once surrounded her is replaced by some sort of red energy that trapped her. The armor body is gone Rias has no way to break free. A familiar figure come to her aid. Vergil.
"Raiden!" Rias called out to him.
Vergil attempted to break Rias out but was unable to. A shadow appears and covers both of them. A red dragon appears and is sneering at them both. Vergil and Rias continue to try and break free. The red dragon shoots Vergil and grabs Rias and entangles her. Vergil struggling to get back to his feet. Rias struggles to get free but is unable to. A moment later her hand began to move against her will. The red dragons has taken over Rias hand and it's now partially armored. It begin to gather energy. Rias is trying so hard to stop it.
"Raiden, get out of the way!" She pleaded. He just stood there. The shot is fired and the was a massive explosion and nothing was left. Rias wakes up from her nightmare.
Vergil dream
Vergil continued to deal with own tormenting nightmares. The night before the wedding reception would meet with the Black dragon. During Vergil's nightmare something unexpected happened this time. A black shadow figure tears through the dream. The whole body could not be clearly seen and only the silhouette could be made out. The head was the shape of a dragon and the body appeared to look human. All the demons inside ran towards the intruder. The Jet Black Warrior simply swung its arm and wiped out the demons in one swing of its arm. The mysterious warrior turns towards Vergil and signals him to follow. Vergil realizes that this is an alley and proceeds to follow. Vergil's steps through the portal and enters a new area. A trail of blue flames lead to the large jet-black dragon laying on it's belly waiting for Vergil.
"We meet again, Son of Sparda. You really should do something about your nightmare before it becomes a reality."
"My nightmares are my own problems." Vergil replied.
"Fair enough, however as long as I'm here they will become my problem as well."
"We can talk about my nightmares another day, I have business with you."
"We really gotta work on your social skills. Anyway, have you completed your preparation to bring back our master?"
"All but one matter. I need your help if this is going to work. I will need more power to completely crush Riser."
Vergil explains his plan to Kurayami. Kurayami gave a small grin.
"More power you shall have. This time you must win. More battles await you on your quest for more power. "
Kurayami showed Vergil the dreams of Rias and Akeno and what became of them.
"What is this?" Vergil asked.
"Another one of my abilities that you will come to master in time. I call it Dream Hopper, the ability to enter other people's dreams. However these premonitions have been persistent the last few days. I can speculate more powerful foes than Riser are coming. As you are right now, your current self is not enough."
"What must I do?"
"Extend your arm out."
Vergil extended his arm out and strange magic symbols appeared and then disappeared.
" This will be enough. I took your arm and converted into a dragon. Now you must harness my power and make it your own."
"It will look like this for a few days and then it will go back to normal. You will just have to think of something to deal with all that built up power in your arm. I'm sure Rias or Akeno- chan will think of something suitable after rescuing her."
"This will do." Vergil briefly glances at Kurayami then looks back at arm.
"Dragons attract strong opponents. Remember that while you're out there."
"I will crush all who stand in my way."
Shortly after, the Jet Black Warrior from earlier appeared in between Kurayami and Vergil. It stood there towering over Vergil.
"Before you go, a little demo on your new abilities. If you be so kind." Looking at the Jet Black figure.
The Jet Black warrior gathered a small ball of energy and threw it out in the distance. An explosion goes off and the area shakes.
"Gather the energy around you and focus it to a single point. Once you get the hang of this, you will be able to do something like this."
The Jet Black warrior fires a larger and more destructive shot. Vergil was impressed with the display and found it would be useful. Kurayami showed a few more abilities and explanations on them. Vergil practiced a few of these abilities and was able to grasp them. Kurayami had a satisfied expression and was anticipating a good show watching Vergil take back Rias. Vergil has finished his preparation and is ready to rescue Rias. A few hours before they went to the reception Tio stopped by Vergil's room.
"Here read this." Tio tossed a book to Vergil.
"What's this?" Vergil asked.
"Something you will need to know and will come in handy." Tio replied. Vergil opened the booked then closed it after turning a few pages
"Oi, Tio! The hell is this?"
"Fufufu. Come on now surely you are aware of this when a man and woman become intimate with each other. I'm sure Rias chan and Akeno chan would be up for it in the right condition." Tio winked.
"I'm not so sure about that."
"Fufufu. What if I told you there was power to gain with this for both of you." Tio replied and that statement seemed to catch his attention.
"Read up on this and there just may be some power to gain on your journey. Akeno has finalized the preparation, so you have some time before we head out."
"Alright."
The wedding reception demon world
It was evening time and everyone was having a good time. The families from both sides were socializing about different topics. Rias stood by herself not socializing with anyone. She had a lot on her mind like her future with someone who she has no love for, her long lost friend's return and the condition of Vergil, which there has been no new word about him and the haunt dreams she had for the last few days. Asia walks through the door and joins the rest of Rias's servants Kiba and Koneko.
The doors open and Vergil and Akeno walk into the reception where everyone is located.(Vergil wearing DMC3 attire.) A blue coat, black pants, vest, and brown boots. Akeno was wearing a black kimono. Everyone stopped and wondered who this handsome young devil could be. Rias sees Vergil was impressed by his attire and glad that he was okay. Vergil and Akeno walk in towards Riser. Some guards tried to stop them but Kiba and Koneko intercepted them.
"Your awake Raiden-kun." Kiba holding off the guard
"You are late Senpai." Koneko also commented.
"Sorry I was late to the party." Vergil replied.
Vergil and Akeno walk through and more guards come to intercept them. Akeno raised her hands and zap both of them and then they fell to the ground. Vergil and Akeno continue to walk towards Riser and Rias.
"Damn! You really are a monster! Couldn't you have waited until after the ceremony to settle this?" Riser was slightly impressed.
"I've come to retrieve my master. You can't have her." Vergil points at Riser.
The ladies at the party are in aw, as they see two men fighting for the same woman. The Demon King and Rias' older brother, makes his way to them.
"Ah, I see that tonight's entertainment has finally arrived." Sirzechs making an entrance.
"Your majesty, what's the meaning of this?" Riser asked.
"Well I was very curious about this devil here and made arrangements for him to be here."Sirzechs replied.
"Your majesty, was the previous game not to your liking?" Riser asked.
"Quite the opposite actually. I enjoyed it very much. A very close match even for my little sister. So I wanted to see more of the black dragon power and arrange for another game with just the two of them. The power of the Phoenix against the Legendary Black Dragon. After all we know so little about it, as well as this young devil here. I ask of you, Riser, will you show us the power of the Phoenix once again?"
"If his majesty request to see my power then I will do so for him." Riser giving a small bow to the king of devil's.
"Thank you. How about Dragon-kun? What do you desire if you win tonight's game?" Sirzechs asked Vergil. Vergil looked at Rias then back at the Demon king.
"Your majesty, I desire the return of Rias-sama." Vergil gave a small bow as well.
"Raiden." Rias had a hopeful expression.
"Very well. We shall return her to you if you win."
"Your majesty, what is the meaning of this?" a Phenix noble asked.
"It's only fair to reward the young devil for putting on a show for us. I want my sister's reception to be a flashy one." Sirzechs replied.
The demon king then turned his attention back to Vergil and Riser.
"Alright, now that we are all in agreement let's move to the arena. Good luck to you both."
He snapped his finger and they were in a whole new area.
Battle Arena
The two were alone in a large area.
"I can't waste time with you. I'll need to use my full power to obliterate you this time." Riser points at Vergil.
A fire aura surrounded him then it took shape into armor. The armor had a Roman look to it with the chest piece and helmet and fiery wings coming from the back. Riser punches the ground to display his destructive full power. Vergil simply dusted himself off.
"Ohoo. So you're finally taken this seriously? That's good because this would have been a very dull battle if you didn't." Vergil replied.
Vergil raises one hand and snaps his finger. A blue light flashed and once it cleared Vergil had a suite of armor on. The armor's helmet had a dragon shaped head with one horn at the front and one on each side of his helmet with blue hair coming out the back. The chest piece had gray metal plates covering the chest and ribs with a blue rope crossing making an X. The shoulders also had a plate that shaped around the shoulder. The gauntlets had claws outlined on both hands and the jewel was now blue instead of purple in this form. There are side armor pieces that extend down the hips and black shines pieces and foot pieces. The armor had a simple look.
Riser looked at Vergil's armor and was not very impressed with its simple design.
"You know, for a legendary dragon, that armor is not all that impressive." Riser insulting Vergil.
"Well, I did just obtain this and it will change over time. Shall we begin?" Vergil replied and assumed his fighting stance.

The combatants stare each other down after they take their stance. Rias' future hangs in the balance as she watches Vergil from a safe distance. The demon king and Greyfia were also watching from the balcony. Akeno and Tio join Rias to watch the battle unfold. Ravel is also watching from the side. She had a concerned look on her face after seeing Vergil's quick recovery and has the black dragon's armor with unknown capabilities. A large monitor displays the upcoming battle in the reception room.
"Promotion Queen!" Vergil shouts and receives a boost in power.
Vergil gathers a small ball of demonic energy the size of a basketball in one hand and throws it at Riser. Riser quickly moves out the way and the demonic ball goes off at distance with a huge explosion. Riser looks back at the destructive blast and realizes that Vergil's power is more destructive than it previously was. He turns his attention back to Vergil and dashes towards him. Vergil also dashes towards him. They both collided into each other and bounced backwards a short distance. They collided two more times and started to trade blows as they slowly floated up in the air. Vergil throws another destructive ball of demonic energy, Riser dodges again however this time Vergil dashes towards him with greater speed, passes Riser and elbows strikes Riser in the face. Riser kicks Vergil in the chest followed by a punch and distances himself from Vergil. Vergil dashes forward and Riser does the same. Their collision causes a shock wave pushing them back and cracking the ground. The two dashed and collided a few more times flying upwards. Vergil flies in with and punches Riser in the face then hits him hard enough to send Riser to the ground. Riser stops himself from hitting the ground and turns around to face Vergil. In the blink of an eye, Vergil appeared in front of him with his leg cock back ready for a kick. Vergil goes for a kick but Riser ducks out the way then distances himself from Vergil again. Vergil dashes passed Riser. A short distance after Vergil passed Riser, he spun like a ball to keep his momentum and double kicks Riser, sending him upwards. Vergil chases after Riser. Riser slowly builds up power not facing Vergil. Riser is getting furious now.
"Don't get carried away!" Riser shouts and blasts Vergil, a huge fireball of demonic energy that sends him to the ground causing a huge fiery explosion.
There was debris and a large dust cloud. Riser was catching his breath after unleashing a massive attack. There was a flash of dark blue light and then a large ball (Terra Destroyer) appeared and hit Riser causing him to fall to the ground. Vergil got back on his feet and Riser began to fire more of his flames like a flamethrower. Vergil, using his speed to avoid the fiery attack runs towards Riser.
"This old trick won't work!" Riser shout-out.
Riser gathers a fiery ball with his other hand and throws it at Vergil who is still running towards him. A explosion goes off, out of the smoke a energy clone of Vergil appears and attacks Riser. Riser created a fire sword and cuts the clone in half but then it exploded. Riser was not affected by the attack see the real Vergil goes on the offense. Riser slashes away and each swing unleashes a wave of heat.
Balcony
Meanwhile at a safe distance, Rias and company watch from a distance. Rias seeing Vergil in his armor, slightly reminded her of the nightmare the last few days. This causes her to take her eyes off the battle. Tio notices her in distress and offers some encouraging words for her.
"Rias-chan, don't take your eyes off him. This battle is not just for you but for him as well. No matter what happens he will always be there to protect you. Do not fear the black dragon." Tio commented
"Tio onee-san?" Rias had a more hopeful look now.
"Take him out Raiden-kun!" Akeno cheered Vergil on.
"Akeno?" Rias asked.
"He came all this way, the least we can do is cheer him on." Akeno smiled at Rias.
"Raiden! I won't forgive you if you lose!" Rias shouts.
Battle Arena
The two combatants are staring each other off and both their armor is cracked. Vergil heard Rias and Akeno cheering and gave a light chuckle. They both charge up their fist with demonic energy and aim to punch each other in the head causing a massive explosion. They rise out of the debre. Riser, looking to get the advantage, creates a flame sword charge at Vergil. Riser begins to slash away at Vergil. Every swing left a trail of fire behind it. After a well time attack, Vergil stopped the swing with one hand and delivered a clean hook to the face with the other. It was so effective Riser was screaming in pain. Riser kicks Vergil in the gut follow by blasting him away, then violently swings his sword at him. Vergil defends himself against the fiery onslaught. After Risers finished his attack he realized that he wasn't recovering as quickly.
"Bastard, what the hell did you do to me?" Riser shouts.
"I'm sure someone of your caliber can figure it out." Vergil replied. Riser began to analyze then came to a conclusion.
"You're using some sort of holy item but you should be affected by it as well."
"Well, that is true, under normal circumstances."
"I will admit you are indeed a powerful devil and will go far in the rated games."
The thing that Riser couldn't see was a cross in Vergil's dragon hand which is why he is not affected by it. Vergil acquired this from Asia before entering the reception.
"As a pure demon I will use all of my power to put you in your place once and for all." Riser declared.
"Hey kid, the armor won't be ready for a while. You will have to use "that" to finish this. I saved the remaining power in the gauntlet. You will have to finish him with the remaining power." Kurayami explained to Vergil.
"Hmph. Time to show off just a little bit.*Pushes hair back with one hand.* Rejoice Riser, you will be the first to witness a power not seen in a long time. A power greater than you can ever imagine."
"Really, it doesn't look like you have much power left in your condition from where I'm standing." Riser shoots fire beams at Vergil.
"Heh. Don't get so cocky." Vergil activates his devil trigger. A dark blue sphere of demonic energy surrounds Vergil and blocks the flames.
Balcony
"Raiden?" Rias's eyes widen as to what she is witnessing.
Rias looks over at Akeno who was staring intensely at Vergil, not wanting to miss anything. Rias turns her attention back to the fight. Tio had a smile on her face like she knew how this battle would end.
Battle Area
*Vergil battle theme 2 DMC3 OST*
Riser was still firing beams at Vergil and stopped after a moment. Once the smoke cleared only the area Vergil was standing on was still there. The dark sphere still surrounded Vergil and he began to transform. The injuries Vergil received were starting to heal up quickly.
"What the hell is this?" Riser questions what he is seeing.
Vergil complete his transformation and has his sword in his armsheath.(DMC3 version) Riser ready himself against his monstrous opponent. In a blink of an eye Riser sees a blur images coming towards him and Vergil was suddenly behind Riser. Riser was suddenly hit multiple times in his upper body and was not able to react. Vergil turns around and knees Riser in the back of the of the head once then then two more times them followed up with a flip kick that cause Riser take several steps backwards. Riser was slowly recovering but not quick enough due to the holy strikes. He shakes off the pain and power up his fist with fire and makes another attack. Riser goes for punch but Vergil steps to the side. He goes for another and Vergil dodges again. Riser getting frustrated unleashes a fury of attacks, sadly none of them connected. Vergil stop moving and Riser lands two hits, one in the chest and one to the head. Vergil was unaffected and the wounds began to heal. *Demonic Growl*Vergil then unleashes a fury of kicks. (13 Kick combo extended Pyromaniac DT version). After the series of kicks Riser is kicked back several feet. He pulls out his fiery sword and puts all his power into it. It gave off an intense heat wave. Vergil assumes his quick draw stance.
"Transfer." Vergil stated and an intense wind was blown while he was still in his stance.
Riser didn't see anything noticeable and charged towards Vergil, looking to obliterate him. What Riser didn't notice was Yamato crackling and glowing.
"My power will be absolute." Vergil stated in a demonic tone before dash forward and disappeared and multiple dark sphere appeared and hit Riser from all sides.(JCE DMC3 version)
Vergil appears behind Riser, swipes a clear liquid off Yamato and sheath most of his katana at shoulder level. Vergil spoke in a very low voice.
"This is the power of Sparta." Vergil stated and *Giin SFX* finished sheathing his sword and deactivated his Devil Trigger.
*Smokin Sexy Style*
Blood and smoke spread out of Riser and he fell to the ground. Vergil turned around and saw his opponent not moving. Ravel flies over to her brother. She stops as she see Vergil walking casually towards her. She closed her eyes hoping nothing would happen. Vergil simply walks past her. Catching her breath she continues to fly over and check on her brother who wasn't moving. She looked over and saw the clear liquid on the floor. She tapped it and felt a small sting on her finger. The next moment she hears her brother coughing and grunting.
"Onii-san!" She cried out.
Balcony
"That young devil put on quite a show." Grayfia stated.
"Indeed. He cleverly used just enough Holy water to defeat Riser. He stored it inside his sheath and increased its power without Riser noticing a thing." Sirzechs commented.
"He waited for the right moment to use it. Riser can recover most wounds quickly but not his stamina." Grayfia stated.
"Our dragon friend used just enough to defeat him but not enough to kill him. A lesser devil would mostly have been killed. I believe because he has the Phoenix power that he will be alright. There is something else about that young devil that really got me curious." Sirzechs also stated.
"Ara, you must be talking about when he changed into that strange form of his. I feel like I heard about that before but from where?" Grayfia is a bit curious.
"I believe my little sister has stumbled upon something amazingly rare." Sirzechs stated with a smile.
Rias area
Rias is happy about the battle Vergil just went through. The stance Vergil used at the very end. Rias tries to recall where she has seen it from but she again can't clearly remember, as well as pushing the hair back.
"You feel it too?" Akeno asked.
"Akeno? The way Raiden carries himself and some of the things he does. Where have I seen it before?" Rias asked.
"I'm not certain but there must be some sort of connection to "him". I know it." Akeno commented.
"You're right. When I'm around him, I get this very faint calm feeling from him. I don't know how to explain it but I feel it." Rias looked at Akeno.
Vergil made his way to where Rias and everyone else was at. The intense battle has concluded. Many people will be talking about this battle for a while. Vergil reaches the group and claims his prize.
"President, shall we return home?" He asked while extending his hand.
"Yes, let us return home." Rias grabs his grab.
Shortly after Rias grabs Vergil's hand, a light flashes from Vergil's coat. Vergil pulls out a paper that was glowing. There was a flash of light and a dark blue horse with blue fiery hair appeared. Geryon appeared out of the light Vergil instantly recognized this horse and looked at Tio who just smiled and turned her head and started talking to Akeno. Vergil just lightly chuckled and mounted the horse and then assisted Rias up and she sat right in front of him. Vergil was not used to being this close with Rias but he kept his bearing. Akeno taking mental notes on how to tease him later on.
"Tio, I will see you when you get home."
"Yes. I have a few things to talk to you about but I'll save that for later." Tio replied.
"President, I will meet up with you in the human world later on." Akeno informed Rias.
"I'll see you then." Rias replied.
"Thank you again Raiden-kun. I'll leave you two tonight." Akeno thanked Vergi while giving a devilish smile.
The demonic horse grew wings and took off. While in the air, Rias notices something different about one Vergil's hands.
"What is this?" Rias grabs his hand.
"Hm? Oh this? I gave part of my arm to the dragon. This arm won't be affected by holy water or crosses. It's not a bad deal."
"Why would you go so far for me? We were able to stop this engagement but what about the others? Is the cost worth it? Am I really worth it?" Rias stared and held his dragon hand and got a little tear in her eyes.
"Hmph. They will have to take you from me. If they can." Vergil declared while looking into her eyes and wiping her tears with his hand.
*Vague Hope- Nier Automata cue*
Rias felt her heart skip a beat. Vergil words were so bold and confident. No one has ever said something so romantic to her. Rias was so moved, she leaned in and kissed Vergil with a passionate kiss. Vergil, still holding on to the horse to make sure they don't fall, simply returned the favor.
"In Japan, they say a girl's first kiss is the most important one." Rias giving Vergil a devilish smile.
"Oho? I seem to remember…"
"That one doesn't count. Besides, I was uncertain about a lot of things at that time and wanted to take control of my own life."
"Does that include what happened before the other kiss?" Vergil asked and Rias looked at Vergil and blushed a bit.
"Yes. I resolved to follow through until we were interrupted."
"I see. If you had a chance to do it with no interruptions, would you do it without being pressured by an engagement?"
Rias looked at Vergil but she felt uncertain about it.
"I don't know. I wanted my first time to be special with the one I love, I don't want to keep being put in this kind of situation. Someone else controlling my life and deciding my future. I don't want that. I want to live my life the way I want to and marry the one of my choice."
"You mean 'him'."
"I want to wait as long as I can for him, however I don't know if my family will permit it. They fear our house could disappear since my brother left and became king..." *Vergil pushes Rias close to him*
"Worry about that another day. There will be a time to decide on those things at an appropriate time. In the meantime, become strong enough to decide your own future."
Rias hearing Vergil's words and being held by him brought her comfort and helped ease her mind.
"Can we stay like this for a while." Rias looks up to Vergil.
"As long as you like." Vergil replied.
Rias had a more cheerful smile and rested on Vergil's chest for the rest of the ride.
After the party
Tio watches Vergil and Rias fly off in the distance. Akeno joins up with Kiba and others. The mysterious man with an eye patch joins Tio.
"So what do you think?" Tio asked.
"The party wasn't all that dull thanks to him putting on a good show. He is very much like his father. I look forward to meeting him the next time he comes here."
"I told you so."
"How's the spell you cast on him?"
"It won't last forever but I hope he will be strong enough before it wears out."
"This situation will affect us in the future and it's necessary to make proper preparation."
"I'll also stay back to inform the Demon King. The whole Demon world will be involved and he too will need to prepare."
Tio and the mysterious man walk over to the demon king.
"Good evening your majesty, I hope you enjoyed the entertainment tonight."
"Oh Tio-dono, you raise a fine student there. What brings you here?"
"There is an urgent matter I wish to discuss with you. Only you must hear what I'm about to tell you."
"Let us head to the balcony outside."
Sirzechs and Tio headed to the balcony outside and Grayfia and the one-eyed man waited by the entrance. Tio activates a sound proof barrier so no one could listen in on their talk.
"Your majesty, how much do you know about the Dark Emperor Mundus?"
"That was a very dark time for the demon world. If it was not for the Legendary Dark Knight Sparta, I believe a lot of us would not be here. I know Sparta defeat and sealed him away, then left the Demon World."
"That is the story, yes. Many years ago Mundus attacked the remaining Sparta family."
"I heard about the attack from my father but I was told there were no survivors."
"That is not entirely true."
"What do you mean?"
Tio explains what happened leaving Vergil's name out.
"To think Mundus would use Sparta son like that. I'm not sure we would have a chance with him on his side."
"Relax, your majesty, I have already retrieved him."
"You retrieve him from the most dangerous place in the demon world, how?"
"..."
"Oh, to think you were here and aiding him. This is very reassuring."
"I will raise him to fight against the dark emperor. Along with a few others. I'll even throw a bonus and have you meet him in the future."
"I'll use what resources I can to aid him. He is very lucky to have you by his side."
"Everything I do is for his sake. I lost one family. I won't lose another. I will also see that the promise Greymoire made with Sparta be fulfilled."
"I know that my family is in a tough spot, but I can't interfere. She could end up being caught up in more family affairs."
"As long as Raiden is with her, she will be safe. I can promise you that."
"Thank you again Tio-dono."
Sirzechs and Tio head back to the party.
Vergil's inner world
"A magnificent fight, Son of Sparta."
"It's thanks to you and everyone else that it succeeded."
"We are partners in this, so I'll do what I can to assist you. What happened with Rias?"
"She is resting back at her place. It's been rough for her the past couple days, so a little rest should help."
"What about her family matters? There could be other engagements in the future."
"I will crush them when they come up. No one can have her. She belongs to a Son of Sparta."
"If only Rias-chan and Akeno-chan could hear you talk like this. They would be blown away." Kurayami remarked and felt a familiar presence and looked at Vergil and gave a small grin.
"Let's call it a night. You had a tough fight and need your rest. Don't forget about that other matter we talked about."
"I will take care of that."
"One more thing. *Snap* Vergil glowed for a second.* All set and ready.
Vergil leaves his inner world.
Vergil's room.
Vergil is sitting in a computer chair with wheels facing the window with the moonlight shining down on him while drinking some tea. Vergil's eyes closed, thinking about Rias' situation and that it may not be a simple matter solved currently. After giving it some thought he decided to worry about it later and rest up for now. Vergil began to ponder about the preminitons that Rias and Akeno had and the meaning behind them. Unexpectedly, a red light flashes at the center of the room and Rias appears out of the circle. Vergil felt Rias's presence and was curious as to what would bring her to his room at this hour.
"Good evening, President. This is a rather unexpected visit. Is everything alright?" Vergil asked.
"Good evening Raiden. I came to inform you of something important."
"Oh. You'll have to forgive me. I'm a little exhausted from today's battle but I'll hear you out."
"I've decided to take control of my life and groom my own groom. I won't have my family decide who I should be with. So I will grow stronger to make that happen. This is what I resolved myself."
"I'm happy you have resolved yourself to this extent. I'll support you however I can." Vergil replied and drank his tea.
"Thank you Raiden. I knew I could count on you. Now the first step in this is important. So I've decided to have you become one with me."
*Vergil spits his tea out*
"I'm sorry President, I think I misheard.."
"Become one with me Raiden." Rias repeated.
"I'm getting a sense of de ja vu here. Well, let's see this through." Vergil thought to himself and sets his tea down and opened his eyes.
"If you want it, then you'll have to take it,*turns around in his chair* but you already knew that." Vergil faces Rias who is in sexy night attire with a determined expression.
*Trip Innocent of D- cue*
A see through gown with her fancy black bra and panties.
Rias walks over to Vergil and sits in his lap facing perpendicular to him with her legs crossed and then faces him. Vergil's head leaning on his fist while looking at Rias. They both stared at each other down. Rias sliding her hand up Vergil's thigh towards his manhood making it clear what she wants to do.
"Oh, so you're approaching me?" Vergil taunting Rias.
"Of course, you have something I want and I won't let you run away." Rias leaning into Vergil's face.
"Run away you say?" Vergil grabs Rias's chin and pulls her towards him.

"Foolishness, President, foolishness." Vergil staring her in the eyes after a passionate kiss.
Rias turned red and her heart skipped a beat. She grabs Vergil's face with her hands.

Vergil chuckled and he moved his hand that was behind Rias and grabbed one of her breasts. She lets out a moan.

"Don't get so cocky." Vergil gave a small smile. Rias, trying to regain her composure, grabs Vergil's tool and is surprised at his size.
"Don't forget you serve me devil boy." Rias had a grin on her face.
*She got you that time*
"Not bad." Vergil replied.
Vergil moved his hand from his hand from his breast and slid one finger into her sacred chamber. She lets out a high pitch noise.
"Hii!"
*Sadistic*
"So you want to dance with this devil?" Vergil gave her a small grin.
"Is that all you got?" Rias trying to regain her composure again. This time time leans in and gives a hickey around his lower neck and Vergil responds by biting the tip of her ear. They both look each other in the eyes for a moment.
Downstairs
Tio back from the Demon World, was watching a movie and eating popcorn and snacks. While she was watching the screen her ears twitched and she gave a small smile.
Vergil's Room
"Alright, I'll take this dance." Vergil stands up while carrying Rias in his arms like a princess and walks towards the bed.
Vergil then tossed her onto the bed. Rias gets up and pounces on Vergil and kisses him again. Rias' pounce was enough to off balance him and fall on his back still kissing him. Rias pulls Vergil's sweat pants down and begins to go to work downstairs. After a couple of licks she mounts Vergil and guides his tool into her sacred chamber. Rias took a few breaths and began to move her hips up and down. Vergil felt Rias' warm and wet section. Vergil grabs Rias' hips and gives her a few thrust and tossed her back onto the bed. Vergil moves in and takes her bra, shirt, and panties off. Rias waved hand and blew off Vergil sweatpants.
"Now I'm a little motivated." Vergil gave a small grin.
Vergil then grabs Rias hips and thigh and proceeds to pleasure her nether region. Rias grabs the bed sheets and moans from the pleasure. She tries to regain her composure but Vergil opens her legs and slides his Yamato in and gives her a few thrust. Rias continue to moan from the pleasure. After some time passes, he stops for a second and looks at Rias who is trying to catch her breath and she looks back at him. Vergil gave another small grin and leaned in close to her. The next moment Vergil moved his hip three times with such intensity and speed that Rias couldn't make a sound. Vergil moved his hip seven more times that Rias wrapped her legs and arms around him.(Think Perfect Judgement Cut motion) Afterwards she climax and was out of breath.
"Jackpot." Vergil said with a satisfied expression.
Vergil lay next to Rias and looked over at her. She turns over and grabs his arm and wraps her legs around his leg while falling asleep. Vergil gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"Sweet dreams." Vergil whispers before falling asleep.
Rias Dreaming
Rias' nightmare started as it usually does. Once she came across the Vergil floating body that was drifting in the ocean all alone, the red dragon appeared. This Vergil body disappeared and was nowhere to be found. Rias fired two destructive demon energy balls at the red dragon. This time it was effective when before it was not. The red dragon amused that Rias now has a little more fight in her proceed to close the distance between the two of them. Suddenly, there was a loud boom. The Red dragon and Rias look out in the distance. A mass of black clouds were moving towards them and then there was another loud boom. This time there was something flying towards them very fast. The Red dragon recognize it and got really angry and fired multiple shots of energy at the black figure flying towards them. The black flying figure started to become more visible. It was the Jet Black warrior that also appeared in Vergil's dream. The silhouette is the only thing that can be seen for now. It continues to fly at high speed towards them. Rias was not sure if this was friend or foe. The Jet Black warrior came crashing into the red dragon, pushing it back far away from Rias. The red dragon covered in bruises and pissed at the Jet Black warrior, prepared to blast both of them, shoots a massive beam at them. Rias having no way to counter such an attack. The black warrior raised his arms and put them together. He began to spin at such speeds that he looked like a small Black Tornado and leaps forward at the massive beam. The massive beam was being shredded as the Jet Black warrior moved closer. Once he was close enough, he went though the red dragon's body tearing in apart from the inside and out. The red dragon fell to the ground and was no longer moving and began to disappear. Rias running towards the the mysterious warrior. The Jet Black warrior simply turned around and cut open a portal.
"Wait!" Rias calls out to the him. He stopped for a moment partially turns back to face her
"Thank you for saving me." She asked him.
The Jet Black warrior just gave a head nod and walked through the portal and it closed behind him. Rias watched as the Jet Black warrior came and left like a storm.
Akeno Dream
Akeno was also dealing with her nightmares as well. Akeno and Vergil were hit by the dark wing being. This time Vergil was nowhere to be seen this time. Akeno turns her attention at the dark winged being. She fires thunder at it and it retaliates with it's own massive thunder knocking Akeno back. She struggles to get back to her feet. The dark angel taunts her. Suddenly a light flashes behind Akeno. The dark angel looks to see who dares interrupt his fun. A portal opens and the Jet Black warrior walks out to the battlefield. The Dark Angel was not please with this.
"Great, what now?" Akeno getting irritated that someone else appeared.
She not sure if he is here to help or not but she fires Thunder at him. The Jet Black warrior stood there and took her attack. The Dark Angel taking advantage of the opportunity launched a massive barrage of yellow spears at her. Akeno notices the attack, realizes this sort of attack meant certain death and tries to defend against it. The Jet Black warrior leaps forward and shields her from the barrage. Akeno opens her eyes and sees the Jet Black warrior on top of her protecting her from harm. She had a confused look on her face. The barrage was creating a smoke screen which he would use to conceal his next attack. The Jet Black warrior stood up on one knee while still protecting Akeno and his body began to glow. Akeno covered her eyes due to Dark Angel stop his barrage and waited for the smoke to clear. A massive blue sphere comes out of smoke and hits the Dark Angel causing a massive explosion. The Jet Black warrior begins running towards the downed Dark Angel. The Dark Angel slowly gets back up and sees his opponent coming towards him and prepares his next attack. After closing the distance Jet Black warrior ready his claw and strikes. Both opponents had their backs to each other. The Jet Black warrior stood up still keeping his back to the Dark Angel. The Dark Angel turned around and raised his arm with a yellow spear to strike him, when suddenly something fell in front of him. He looks down and sees his hand there and then looks at his arm. The arm slid off, then his vision began to split. The Dark Angel's body was falling apart to pieces and fell to the ground. The Dark Angel began to disappear. Akeno began to run towards the Jet Black. He realizes she is coming towards him and turns around and opens a portal. Akeno just barely made it to him and called out to him.
"Wait!" Akeno shouted out to him.
The Jets Black Warrior turns around partially and looks at Akeno. Their eyes meet for a moment and then he walks through the portal and disappears knowing Akeno is safe.
Morning time
Vergil and Rias laying in bed. The first time in a long time, Vergil has had a decent night of sleep. The same can be said for Rias after her encounter with the Jet Black warrior. Vergil wakes and attempts to get up. He looks over and remembers he had company last night. Rias glued to his arm and leg while still sleeping. Vergil for the first time felt at ease and doesn't plan to tell Rias or Akeno about his nightmares. He also wonders if it's because of Rias that this happened. Whatever the reason, Vergil would add this for his reason for fighting Rias and Akeno. Vergil attempted to move but Rias just tightened her grip on him. Vergil just gave a small smile. He took a closer look at Rias and examined her whole body from head to toe and even examined her breast and hip. Vergil thought about his own feelings for her for a moment. After the battle with Riser and his encounter last night he knew how important Rias is to him, however he decided not to let them get in the way too much for his quest for power.
"It's not nice to stare." Rias teasing.
"I can't help but enjoy the view right now. How are you feeling?"
"I feel strange and relief at the same time."
"What do you mean?"
Rias began to explain a little more in detail. The engagement with Riser and the events that led up to the wedding reception and her nightmares she had after the rating game and her encounter with the Jet Black warrior in her nightmare that saved her. All these things were on her mind and she had no one to talk about it.
"I see you had a lot to deal with." Vergil commented.
"I think I need a little vacation for a bit. Just a change of pace."
"Where would you go?"
"Anywhere is fine."
"I see. Well breakfast will be ready soon so I need to get ready."
"Aww can't we stay here a bit longer?" Rias pulls the covers to her face. Vergil chuckled.
"No, because Tio would thrash me very harshly in training if I ever did such a thing." Vergil replies and gets up, grabs some clothes and takes a showers. What Vergil didn't tell Rias was that he slept in one time and miss a training session and she thrashed him in training relentlessly when they still lived in the Sparda house.
Vergil made his way downstairs for breakfast. Tio had just finished making breakfast. The doorbell rang with perfect timing.
"Could you get that?" Tio asked Vergil.
"Sure."
Vergil was curious as to who that could be this early in the morning. He gets up to answer and is surprised at who was there waiting.
"Akeno-san?"
"Good morning Raiden-kun."
"Good morning. What brings you here?"
"Tio onee-san told me to be here at this time."
"I see, come inside."
Akeno made her way inside. Tio also greeted her and directed her to the dining room. Vergil came to the dinner room and sees Rias sitting at the table wearing one of his blue shirts. Vergil at this point just brushes it off like it is not a big deal and Akeno joins them for breakfast. They all have nice breakfast together.
"Now that I have you all here I have a little something for you all." Tio slides a few plane tickets to all three of them.
"What's this?" Rias asked Tio.
"There is a place I need you all to investigate. There has been some unusual activity going on. Demons and Fallen Angels" Tio explained.
"This is pretty far away." Vergil points out.
"That's exactly why you three will check it out. Rias-chan, arrangements have been made for someone to watch your area while you're out of town so enjoy yourself. The same goes for you Akeno-chan."
The doorbell rings again. Vergil wonders who that could be and checks it out. After a moment he returns.
"Someone left a lot of boxes outside."
"Oh, I see my stuff has made it here?" Rias replied.
"What?"
"Oh I didn't tell you? I am moving in with you, to help strengthen my relationship with my servants. Tio onee-san has already given me her approval." Rias smiled at Vergil.
Vergil turns and looks at Tio who just smiles back at him.
"Would you be a dear and grab her things?" Tio tease.
Vergil heads out shortly after to bring Rias' things inside. The same time Tio meets Vergil outside.
"There's another thing I didn't want to mention in front of them. There is something there related to your father."
"Father."
"I'm having Rias and Akeno accompany you to help with the investigation and have to catch up with them. This is the name of the group. See where they stand." Tio hands him a piece of paper.
"When do we leave?" Vergil asked
"You leave tomorrow afternoon. Don't miss your flight. Devil boy." Tio winks at Vergil.

Ch 6 Preview
Northern Japan Area
Vergil, Rias and Akeno arrive at the town. There was a large statue and there were people around worshiping it. The three move in closer to get a better look. The three of them recognized it one they were close enough.
"Sparta-sama?" Akeno points out.
"These people look to him as their savior?" Rias asked.
"They worship a demon as a God?" Vergil looking up to his father's statue.
Hotel inn
The group checks into the hotel and are escorted to their rooms. Vergil notice their was only one large mattress. Vergil though about it and just shrugs it off and enters the room. Vergil pulls up a chair pours a cup of tea. Shortly after Rias and Akeno enter the room.
"I think I may have found a way to fix your arm."
"We need to disperse the dragon power within your arm."
"How are we going to do that?"
"You won't but we will. It take a devil like Rias and myself to do this." Akeno explained and licked her lips.
