Ch 6 Vacation
Vergil Home
Tio informed Vergil that they will be heading north to investigate activity among the demons and fallen angels. She also mentioned that there is something related to Sparda out there as well.
"Tio, are you sure don't want to just send me alone?"
"Oh, you get your memory back and fight bravely for your master. Do you really think I would send you somewhere by yourself after your reunion. Sorry I wouldn't do that to Rias and Akeno-chan. They've waited long enough for you."
"No, Tio it is not like that."
"What is it then?"
Vergil was conflicted on what to say. Tio placed her hand on his face and pulls him in closer.
"If you're worried about them, then it's all the more reason for them to go with you. You must learn how to carry yourself around them. This is a good opportunity for you."
"Tio."
"I know your care very much for them and very rarely show it to them. You got your memory back, now it's time to make up the lost time with them. Remember, you are Rias-chan's proud Pawn, so she will keep a good eye on you, along with Akeno-chan."
"Tsk. Guess it can't be helped then."
Vergil and Tio headed back inside the house. Rias and Akeno were at the table looking at places to visit while they were up north. Vergil watched them from a distance before heading upstairs to pack. The next morning they headed out.
Northern Japan Area, Niigata
While on the plane Rias held Vergil's arm to help disguise while traveling. She looked out the window, scanning the area they would be investigating. It was a small town near the beach and plenty of recreational activities to do. After the plane landed they grabbed their bags and made their way to the hotel in a limo that was provided for them. Along the way, Vergil stared out the window with his head leaned on his fist while Rias and Akeno were chatting away with girl talk and other things.
"Hey Raiden." Rias started off.
"Hmm?" Vergil turned his head towards her.
"Is there any place you like to visit while we're here?" Rias showed a few areas of interest from a guide book.
Vergil took a look and didn't see anything of interest until something caught his attention.
"Here. We can stop by there anytime, their is no rush."
"Oh, this is one of there attractions. Excellent choice."
"Hmm."
Vergil turned his attention back to ocean. He didn't notice Akeno observing him, his attention was so focused inward. It was like the ocean helped keep him calm. Akeno simply smiled and enjoyed the view. She continued to look through the tour guides and maps for other places they could visit during their stay. The car passed by a billboard that had photos of several people missing.
Hotel
The group checked into the hotel and are escorted to their rooms. Vergil noticed there were only two large beds. Vergil paused briefly before shrugging his shoulders as he entered the room. Shortly after, Rias and Akeno enter the room. Akeno set her bags down and prepared some tea. Rias went to check out the other areas of the room. Afterwards Rias calls for everyone in the middle of the room. Vergil stylishly pulls up a chair and sits down in it. Akeno pours everyone a cup of tea and provides snacks.
"Now that everyone is here we can begin our strategy meeting. Let's go over our objective while we are here in town. First, we need to do something about Raiden's arm. Second, we investigate the strange activity with the demons and fallen angels. Lastly, which is the most important one, is to relax and have fun on this vacation. Question?
Vergil raised his hand.
"President, just how exactly are we going to solve the problem with my arm?" Vergil asked.
"I'm glad you asked. Akeno may have found a way to fix your arm."
"Hoh."
"We need to disperse the dragon power that is built up within your arm." Akeno explained.
"How are we going to do that?" Vergil asked.
"You won't have to do anything but we will extract it. This will require a High class Devil like Rias and myself to perform such control and manipulation for the high amount of energy in your arm." Akeno explained.
"Depending on how things go, this will need to be performed daily, so we will take turns extracting the dragon's power for you." Rias added.
Vergil took a look at his arm. He does not regret his decision to give a part of his arm in order to save Rias. His goal was to gain more power and becoming stronger. After all, Mundas and other unknown forces are out there. He must do everything in his power to defeat all who wish to harm Rias and Akeno. He examine his dragon arm and made a fist.
"This is not enough. I need more power." Vergil tightened his fist.
Vergil looks over at Rias and Akeno who had a staring strangely at him.
"Ah, don't mind me. I couldn't help but admire such a manly look. Mfufu."Akeno said, her lips curved upward.
"Ahem." Vergil cleared his throat. "So when do we begin?"
"Immediately. Akeno will take care of you today. I will step out for a bit. Once I return we will head into town. Akeno, I'll leave him in your care." Rias instructed.
Rias leaves the room and dispersing the dragon's power to Akeno.
Vergil and Akeno turned towards each other.
"First, we'll need to get clean up from traveling and then we can begin. You go first while I prepare things out here." Akeno explained.
"I'll be in your care Akeno-san." Vergil gave a small bow and heads off to shower.
Akeno gave a small smile. After Vergil's shower Akeno went in to take one as well. Vergil's blue hair was down and he was wearing a sleeveless dark blue shirt and sweatpants. While waiting for Akeno, Vergil took out his amulet for a moment and gazed at it.
"Might controls everything." Vergil utters.
Thinking of his mother, Rias and Akeno, he brings the amulet to his head. Images of Nelo Angelo and Mundus flashed in his head. A reminder to himself to not forget the one enemy he must destroy along with those who serve him. Vergil pushes his wet blue hair back and puts his amulet away. Shortly after, Akeno steps out of the shower.
"Ah, that was refreshing." Akeno felt better after her shower.
Akeno leaving her hair down, puts on a white bathrobe and heads out. Vergil sees Akeno looking very sexy in her wet bathrobe. He didn't stare very long and looked somewhere else. Akeno just giggle at his response.
"Raiden-kun, I will begin disbursing the dragon's energy. I need you to extend your arm out." Akeno explained.
Vergil slowly extended his dragon arm. Akeno moved closer to his hand and brings it close to her mouth. She began to suck on his finger. Vergil had confused expression for a bit. Akeno just laugh and giggled at Vergil's expressions. She continued to disperse the dragon energy from Vergil's arm. After some time Vergil's arm slowly begin to change back normal. After more time passed, Akeno sat back to catch her breath. Vergil arm appeared back to normal. He examined his arm but Akeno gently grabs it back and continues a little more. Akeno appeared to be enjoying herself since she was able to see some of his expressions.
"Hehe. When you make an expressions like that, I can't help but want to service you some more. It also might awaken the bully within me. Mfufu." Akeno smiles at Vergil while holding his hand.
"Umm. Thank you for your hard work Akeno-san."
"Hehe. There is still a lot more of dragon's energy stored in your arm, so this kind of thing will need to continue at least once a day." Akeno rubbing Vergil's hand.
"I see."
Akeno leans on Vergil chest.
"This also means I'll get to spend more time with you. Even if I act like this, I'm quite found of you. " Akeno giggles.
"It has been rather busy lately."
"Watching your battle with Riser was truly amazing. No matter what he threw at you, you kept fighting. My heart just keeps racing everytime I think of you, like something warm inside had awakened." Akeno gushed her chest.
"There was much on the line so I had to put an effort into it."
Akeno placed one hand on Vergil's head and moved her fingers through his wet blue hair while looking into his blue eyes.
"Looking closer, you have such beautiful eyes like the ocean. I can feel myself drifting in the ocean all alone. I was amazed watching you in such an intense battle."
Akeno stared at Vergil for a bit while playing with his hair
"Want to have an affair with me?"
"Eh?"
"I'll keep everything we do a secret from President and Asia-chan. Doesn't that excite you, a secret between us?"
"Your pretty excited about that?"
"I want to experience it at least once. The act of being tied by a guy in lust. I think it's fine to have a man inside me just once."
"You mean.."
"That's right. I haven't done it yet. I'm sure you probably have some experience by now with the President, so I'll be happy if you lead me." Akeno giggle.
"How perceptive is she about these things?" Vergil thought to himself.
"Akeno-san, I think this sort of talk is better in a different setting."
"Hmm, you may be right about that, however I too have my own desires."
Akeno leaned her head on his chest and placed one hand on his chest close to where his amulet is located.
"What form of power is this? Akeno is surprisingly aggressive with this kind of thing. Was she always like this?" Vergil thought to himself while looking at Akeno.
Vergil felt some chills in the room. Vergil and Akeno looked at the entrance to see Rias giving off a scary demonic aura.
"Akeno. What is the meaning behind this." Rias asked with killer aura around her.
"Ah, President, you're back. I was just dispersing the dragon's power. This was the method I mentioned to you." Akeno said, showing off the results.
"No matter how you look at it, doesn't it appear to be more than that."
"Ara, Ara, you don't think I was planning to go all the way do you?" Akeno smiled.
Rias is surprised to see results of dispersing the dragon's energy. She examines Vergil's arm.
"I can still feel a lot of the dragon's energy here." Rias noted.
"Yes, I just braley got it to the current state. We will need to disperse it daily."
"I see."
Rias continues to examine Vergil's arm.
"Now that we have seen the results of dispersing the dragon energy we can head into town and see what we can find."
"I'll go ahead and change."
Akeno gets up and leaves the room to change clothes. She looks back and smiles at Vergil.
Vergil had his arms crossed while watching Akeno leave. Rias walks up to Vergil's side and pulls his cheek.
"You look like you we're enjoying yourself a bit."
"Hah? How was I supposed to know she would choose that for a method?"
"Your defense around her are weak, I suggest you strengthen them up."
"Its fine, there nothing to worry about."
"No, its not fine!"
The two stared at each other while sparks were flying.
Rias was displaying a pouting face.
"Just hurry up and get dress!" Rias walks off.
Akeno just finished getting dressed as she watched Rias leave.
"Ara, looks like your relationship is steadily improving Raiden-kun." Akeno smiles.
Vergil just looked at Akeno and the door where Rias went through. He changed into casual clothes with a blue long sleeve and went to meet up with Rias downstairs along with Akeno.
Niigata Town
Vergil, Rias and Akeno walked around the town. Since the town was near the beach it had quite a few exotic stores. Rias and Akeno went into a store that sold swimsuits. Vergil decided to wait outside and let them have their fun. Rias come back outside.
"What are you doing out here?" Rias asked.
Vergil had a confused look on his face.
"Waiting outside." Vergil replied.
"No need for that, come inside and help us pick some outfits."
"Surely you jest President?"
"No, I'm quite serious. We need your assistance."
"You have Akeno there to help you out."
"She and I have different taste and we need a second opinion."
"I see, but still.."
"Also this is your punishment from earlier. So as your Master, I command you to assist us in picking outfits." Rias points at Vergil with a mischievous smile.
"Tch."
Rias had a smug expression knowing Vergil can't refuse it now.
"Well, can't be helped." Vergil shrugged it off nonchalantly.
Rias pulls at Vergil's arms as they enter the store.
"Come now, let's show some spirit." Rias giggles while continuing to pull Vergil's arm.
Vergil and Rias joined Akeno.
"Ara, our little helper has arrived." Akeno teased.
Rias and Akeno tried on several swimsuits along with some outfits. Rias found a crimson two piece bikini along with a few other colors. She also tried on a Neon blue two piece that Vergil found a liking. Akeno found a Navy blue two piece bikini that also caught Vergil's eye. Rias and Akeno brought some outfits that they tried on and they proceeded to head to another store while Vergil carried their bags. They walk up to a underwear store for women. Vergil just ignored it and walked past it. Akeno grabs Vergil's arms, preventing him from escaping.
"You must accompany us inside here as well." Akeno smiled
"You can't be serious?" Vergil replied
"We're quite serious, its a very important thing for lady you know." Rias explained.
"Again, you don't need my …" Vergil was cut off.
"Come now, let's go and see what's inside. Shall we?" Rias tugged at Vergil's other arm with a smile.
After some time passed they came out of the store and Vergil had more bags to carry. They continued down the street until they came to a large opening with a statue and theater. There was a large statue at the entrance of the building and there were people praying to the statue before entering the building. The three move in closer to get a better look. Rias went to ask one of the people standing by to confirm. The same time, many shadows were swarming around the area. Vergil notices the shadowy demons lurking around.
"Excuse me, could you tell us who it is everyone is praying to?"
"Ahh, you all must be tourists in this town. This is our savior, the Legendary Dark Knight Sparta."
"Sparta-sama?" Akeno looking at the statue.
"Two thousands of years ago, he saved us humans from the invading demons that wished to invade and wipe out the humans." elderly man briefly explained
"So the people here look to him as their savior?" Rias asked.
"Indeed we do. We do our best to keep his legend alive in this day and age. with the theater."
"I see. I believe it must be a fascinating story."
"Indeed. We have a show here, twice a day. It will be great to have you all come and see it while you all are visiting. Just asked for Koji. I'll provide you the best seats in the house."
"We will most certainly come see it before we leave town."
The local walks up the stairs along with the other people and guides them inside to their seats. Rias and Akeno turn towards the statue and give their thanks to Sparta. Vergil sets the bags down beside them for a moment while they pray.
"They worship a demon as a God?" Vergil looked up to his father's statue.
A pack of scarecrow looking demons appear behind them. Vergil turns around to confront the demons while Rias and Akeno were still praying.
Vergil vs Pack of Scarecrow demons *Lets just see-OST cue*
Vergil casually pulls out Yamato while the demons slowly walk towards Vergil, Rias and Akeno. He extends his thumb on his sword and shortly after one demon attempted to ambush Vergil from behind but the only thing it hit was the ground. Vergil appears behind the pack of demons while exhaling and sheathing his sword. *GNK* The demon that attacks Vergil from behind drops dead. The other demons turned around and sounded confused. Vergil plans his next attack and makes his move. He dashes towards three demons and cuts it down one by one. Vergil standing still and has his back towards the remaining demons, he throws his scabbard with such force that it goes through several demons and knocks over more. The same time dashes forward and cuts down more demons so quickly, they don't have time to respond. After cutting down one demon, Vergil throws Yamato like a boomerang, slicing through the demons with ease. Vergil catches his sword and places it back in the flying scabbard and impales a demon at the same time without looking behind him. Vergil removes the sword from the demon. He pushes his hair back and exhales while walking back to Rias and Akeno. Vergil notices more demons coming from high above Rias and Akeno. He Tricks up to the falling demons and cuts them up with incredible speed. Vergil flips down and cuts down the last demon. He stylishly twirls his katana back into sheath while standing back up. *Exhales*GNK* Vergil continues to head back towards Rias and Akeno who were waiting for him. The same time the demons' bodies fell to the ground and disappeared around Rias and Akeno.
"All done?" Rias smiled at Vergil.
"Of course. Shall we continue?"
"Certainly."
"Don't forget about the bags." Akeno reminded Vergil with a smile.
Vergil just looked at it and shrugged his shoulders.
Vergil, Rias and Akeno took their bags back to the hotel and then continued on with looking around town. While looking around Rias was pondering something.
"Raiden." Rias called out to Vergil.
"Hmm?"
"I've been pondering this for a bit now."
"What might that be?"
"You have a Sacred Gear and also wield a katana."
"That is correct."
"Yet, I haven't seen you use it very much except on a few brief occasions."
"I did have a chance to watch him have a bout with Tio-nee-san but they were using wooden swords at that time." Akeno pointed out.
"He really doesn't use it very often does he?" Rias turned towards Akeno.
"What are you getting at?" Vergil asked.
"I was hoping to see more of your swordsmanship at some point." Rias stated.
Vergil stopped for a moment and pondered on Ria's words and then looked at her.
"There is no particular reason why I don't use it. Should an opportunity present itself, I shall show it to you."
"Great, this way I can reassess your capabilities for future rating games. Who knows, you could end up playing a more important role." Rias explained.
"If that is what you wish." Vergil gives a small head bow.
"Alright, shall we continue on exploring?" Rias looking at Vergil and Akeno.
"Certainly." Akeno smiled and looked back at Vergil.
Rias, Akeno and Vergil continue to explore the city.
Elsewhere in town
While they were walking Akeno briefly looks at Vergil and continues on with their walk. Elsewhere in the town near the edge of the forest a pack of demons attack the town. The people began to run for their lives. One demon corners a group of terrified people. Suddenly the demon was cut down by someone in white armor. The mysterious person held a lance and shield and had wings. The mysterious white knight flew around and slayed the remaining demons while protecting the people. The local people were very grateful for this white knight. The white knight begins to float and takes off into the air.
Hotel
The lights were out and it was completely silent. Rias and Akeno were sound asleep in bed. Vergil stood on the balcony outside. The wind blowing through his blue hair. Vergil opens his eyes and stares out into the town alerted to the demonic activity that just took place. Akeno woke up and saw the door to the balcony open and the curtains blowing. She gets out of bed to check it out. Akeno noticed Rias still sleeping but Vergil was not in the room. She made it to the balcony and looked around. Akeno looked out in the distance and saw Vergil training with his sword out in an open area. She watched him for a little bit and then went back inside.
"He did say he would show us, so I won't peak any farther than this." Akeno thought to herself with a smile.
Morning
Rias, Akeno and Vergil were downstairs eating breakfast.
"All right, today we began to search and investigate the strange activity in the area." Rias stated.
"We need to be on the lookout for anything usual. The question is where do we start?" Akeno asked.
"I'm not sure if we will find much activity during the day, perhaps we wait til sunset to begin our search."
"Perhaps we can start there." Vergil points at the television.
Rias and Akeno look at the television. The news was reporting an attack that took place last night but the people were saved by a mysterious white knight in armor.
"White Knight in armor?" Rias reading the headline.
Vergil continues to watch the news about the mysterious white knight in armor.
Location of Demon attack
Rias, Akeno and Vergil head to the location of the attack. Once they were there, they asked one of the owners of the store what they saw last night. The ower was cleaning up broken glass from the attack last night. Vergil looked around the area while Rias and Akeno talked with store owner Isamu.
"So the people in this area were attacked by strange reptilian creatures from the forest and the white knight showed up shortly after and saved everyone?" Rias summarize.
"There hasn't been much activity in this town before until a few months ago. I wonder if this is some kind of sign of something. The forest seems to be becoming more dangerous these days." Isamu expressed his concern.
"The forest?" Akeno asked.
"People used to go into the forest alot until recently people started going missing and were never seen again."
Rias and Vergil briefly looked at each other.
"We are a small town and whatever is going on is something we are not used to seeing around here. What do you think it is."
"We are not certain on what it is yet. Here take this." Akeno hands him a charm talisman.
"What is this?"
"A little something to ward off evil spirits and keep them away."
"Thank you young lady."
The three went outside and visited a few other stores in the area. They had a similar story about demons attacking and the white knight showing up to take out the demons. They went to a little restaurant and went over what they know so far. Rias and Akeno sat on one side facing Vergil. The waitress came and took their orders left to place their orders.
"So what do you think?" Akeno starts off.
"The fact that demons are attacking the town is nothing new in any town; however this white knight is a different story." Vergil points out.
"True, however, it wasn't until recently that they started appearing." Rias also points out.
"We also have the fact that people have been going into the forest and disappearing without a trace." Akeno noted.
"The store owner stated that this is a small town and that the things happening recently have never happened before." Rias recalling the old
"I think we look for this white knight and see what his role is here. I'm a bit curious about him." Akeno suspects something.
"I agree. A White Knight appears in a town, out in the middle of nowhere, is definitely grounds for suspicion. Raiden, what are your thoughts on this?" Rias asked Vergil.
Vergil finished his food and took a sip of his drink.
"A Knight to appear out here, makes you wonder what it's true intention is. Tio told us that there is Demon and Fallen Angel activity going on here. We have confirmed that demons are active in the area. Now we need to find out about the more troublesome Fallen Angels and what they are up to in this area. I believe that part will be more difficult to uncover." Vergil replied with a bit of a cold tone about the Fallen Angels.
Rias began to think about what kind of activity could be going on.
"The only thing I can come up with is something they don't want others to know about."
"What could it be?" Akeno wondered.
"I think we will find more answers with the White Knight and the forest." Vergil deduces.
"I came to the same conclusion." Akeno agreed with Vergil.
"Let's find the White Knight and see what we can find out from him. After we have learned all we can from him, we'll see what we can find inside the forest." Rias plotting their next move.
"The tricky part is pinpointing where the White Knight will show up." Akeno wondered.
"I think the best course of action is to wait for the demons to attack the town. Once he finishes with the demons, we'll stop and question him." Rias explained.
Vergil ponders on a possibility that Rias may or may not have taken into account.
"What is it Raiden-kun?" Akeno asked.
"What happens if it attacks us?" Vergil while looking at both of them.
There was a brief moment of silence but the answer was already clear.
"We will defeat him." Rias answered.
Vergil took a sip of his drink then placed the cup back down.
"Very well. On to the next part of this investigation?" Vergil asked.
A brief moment and Vergil's arms slowly began to turn into a dragon. Lucky for him, he was wearing a long sleeve shirt.
"We still have some time before the evening. Raiden-kun, we still need to take care of your arm as well." Akeno points out.
"Today, I'll be taking care of it." Rias informed Vergil.
"I'll be looking around town while you two head back to the hotel for a bit."
"I think we got a good plan so we will split up from here until the appointed time. Let's meet back up at the hotel."
They paid for their meals and part ways until the appointed time.
Hotel
Vergil and Rias made it back to the hotel room. Just like before, Rias got cleaned up and proceeded to disperse the dragon's power in Vergil's arm. After some passed, she stopped and took a break.
"It's hard to believe that there is this much energy built up in your arm." Rias catching her breath.
"A small price to pay." Vergil replied.
Rias touched his dragon arm with her hand and proceeded to continue to disperse the dragon's power. After some time had passed, Vergil's arm reverted back to human form. Rias sets back to catch her breath.
"Finally, that troublesome dragon's energy is quite dense. I have to concentrate quite a bit just to break it down and manipulate it. Still your arm should be good for a while now."
Vergil examines his arm that is in human form.
"I wonder if there is some way to manipulate this dragon's energy since there is so much of it built up in this arm. It could make for more destructive attacks perhaps." Vergil wondered.
"What are you pondering about?" Rias gets close to Vergil's face.
"Just wondering if there is a way for me to manipulate this dragon's energy after it has been dispersed." Vergil replied.
"Hmm, perhaps that's something we can look into once we get back."
"Look forward to that."
There was a brief moment of silence in the room. Shortly after, Rias sat in between Vergil's legs and leaned back on his chest. Vergil does his best to keep his composer. Rias smiles and laughs while leaning on Vergil.
"Are you enjoyinging yourself out here?" Vergil asked Rias.
"I am enjoying myself and with you here it's making it all the more enjoyable." Rias reached out and placed her hand on the side of his face.
"Is that so, then that's good to hear."
"Having this kind of peace of mind with no worries, really helps me be at ease."
Vergil looked outside the window and the sun was nearly setting and looked at Rias, currently resting on him for the moment. The time for them to meet back up was fastly approaching. Rias looks up and notices Vergil staring out the window and smiles. She sits up and prepares to meet up with Akeno.
"It's almost time for us to meet up with Akeno. We should head out soon."
Vergil slowly nods his head in agreement and gets up. After the two changed clothes, they left the room to meet up with Akeno.
Elsewhere in town on rooftop
Rias, Akeno and Vergil were on one of the rooftops in two.
"Alrights, let's go over the plan again. We will split up and wait for the demons to make their move which will draw out the White Knight. Once we have confirmed the White Knight we let each other know and head their way. After he has taken care of the demons and leaves, we will stop and question him." Rias explained the plan.
Akeno and Vergil understood the plan and made their preparations. Akeno hands Vergil an earpiece for them to communicate. After Akeno handed Vergil the ear piece then she spread her demonic wings and took to the skies. Akeno waves to Vergil as she leaves. Rias heads to the edge and waves to Vergil and hops off the edge. Vergil recalls the movement he learned from Tio and decided to put it to use. He steps up to the edge and leaps off. He runs down the building for a bit and shoots a Summoning Sword to serve as a marker for him to warp to the nearest rooftop. Vergil was amazed at the distance it covered and began to move from rooftop to rooftop. The three devils went in three different directions to cover more ground. After crossing several blocks Vergil found a building high enough to use to search for some demons. He leaps across a few more rooftops and makes his way up to one of the tall buildings he found. Once he made it to the top, he began to concentrate and search for any demonic activity. The last time Vergil practiced searching for demonic energy it covered most of the training camp. Now he is covering several city blocks which surprised him. He focused a little harder and felt two demonic energies opposite from his current position.
"This must be Rias and Akeno power that I'm sensing. I wonder if this is the result of the training camp and the dragon's power." Vergil amazed on how much he improved. He closed his eyes and continued.
Vergil continues to search around his area for any activity. Several demonic energies spawned near Akeno's area. Vergil turns and faces the direction where Akeno is located. A small red demonic symbol appears in front of Vergil's ear.
"I got some activity going on in my area." Akeno informed Rias and Vergil.
"Heading your way." Vergil replied.
"I'm also making my way towards you." Rias announced.
Vergil leaps off the building and warps from rooftop to rooftop. He reached Akeno's location in no time. Akeno, alerted to Vergil's presence, was surprised he made it there so quickly.
"Ara, you got here rather quickly. Did you think I was in danger?" Akeno teased.
"Heh, I doubt the demons would be a match for you Akeno-san."
"Ah, and here I thought you were worried about me and rushed over to my side like some heroic knight rescuing a princess."
"I'm no hero, Akeno-san. That kind of thing doesn't suit me." Vergil crossed his arms.
"Ah, how disappointing." Akeno sadden.
"However, should there ever come a time when you are in such danger, I'll be there."
"Ara, Ara. How very reassuring." Akeno smiled.
Shortly after Rias makes it over to Akeno and Vergil. They observe from the rooftop a pack of Scarecrow demons in the streets. Shortly after, the Mysterious White Knight appears and engages the pack of demons. Once Vergil saw the White Knight he started having flashbacks from being Nelo Angelo. Akeno notices Vergil in a trance and shakes him to bring him back to his senses.
"Are you okay, you seemed spooked out when the White Knight appeared." Akeno asked.
"It's nothing, I'm fine now." Vergil continues to watch.
Rias observes Vergil's behavior and notices there is some sort of relation between the two of them. They continue to observe the knight until all the other demons were defeated. Once he defeated them, the devils moved in to intercept him.
"Greetings, Mr. White Knight." Rias starts off.
The White Knight turns and faces the new group of devils and walks towards them.
"We heard a lot of talk about you in town lately and we were hoping to ask you a few questions."
The White Knight didn't say anything, instead he prepared his spear.
"President. It would appear that this White Knight has other intentions." Vergil points out.
"Yes, that appears to be the case." Rias replied.
The White Knight dashes forward and thrust his spear towards the devils. Rias and Akeno jump backwards while Vergil parries the attack and responds with a back-handed attack to the knight head, causing it to skid backwards.
"President, I don't think we are going to get any answers that we want from this guy." Vergil concluded.
"I agree." Rias replied.
"However, we may get a different answer from him."
"How so?"
"We'll need to defeat this guy first."
"Allow me to assist you with that." Akeno stepped up.
"Akeno-san? You don't really need to get involved in this fight."
"Nonsense, it's not everyday we get to hangout like this. Besides, I can't ignore the fact that a knight would attack a maiden. So I wish to assist you in correcting this knight. Otherwise my image of a knight would be destroyed because of him." Akeno replied.
"Do as you please."
"Most certainly." Akeno smiles.
"Here he comes." Rias points out.
The White Knight continues to walk towards the devils. Vergil takes his fighting stance and activates his Sacred Gear.
Vergil and Akeno vs White Knight
The White Knight dashes towards Vergil and unleashes a barrage of thrust and finishes with horizontal slash. Vergil leaps backwards to evade the attack then dashes forward and delivers a straight punch and hook punch to the mid section followed by a hard kick that sends it flying to the ground. Akeno summoned some thunder to strike the White Knight once he was back on its feet. The raised its shield over its head to block the incoming attack. After the attack, the knight turned its attention towards Akeno. Its spear began to rev up and after three revs it dashed towards Akeno with incredible speed. She used her wings to leap into the air and dodge the attack. The knight goes through a wall and causes smoke and debris. Akeno begins to descend back to the ground. The knight dashes out the smoke, flying towards Akeno ready to pierce her. Vergil intercepts the knight by kicking the spear upwards, away from Akeno. Rias's eyes widened for a moment after watching Vergil intercept the White Knight.
"That was an impressive response from Raiden. Has he gotten faster?" Rias thought to herself.
Vergil followed up by rotating his body in a circular motion and delivering a devastating kick (Lunar Phase) that sent the knight crashing to the ground. Akeno followed up by summoning thunder and blasted its target this time. The dust clears and the knight struggles to stay on its feet.
"Oh my, he is a sturdy one." Akeno surprise.
"Guess his armor isn't just for show." Vergil agreed.
The White Knight began to rev up his spear again. This time Akeno fires off a demonic blast at the knight. The knight stops and ready his shield but Vergil appears behind him and kicks him towards the blast. After the smoke cleared, the knight was still struggling to stand up but its armor was cracked all over its body. Akeno just giggled and smiled while she raised her hand and unleashed a barrage of thunder attacks on the knight. *Thunder SFX* The knight was smoking and fell to his knees and fell over. The knight's helmet falls off and rolls towards Akeno and Vergil. They looked at the rest of the knight's armor and it slowly began to disappear and multiple spheres of light came out and disappeared. Vergil takes a knee and examines the helmet.
"What was that?" Rias asked.
"I'm not quite sure." Akeno replied.
Vergil examined the helmet and looked in the direction of the forest.
"I think we'll get some answers inside the forest." Vergil standing back up and facing the direction of the forest.
Rias and Akeno looked in the direction of the forest, their next area that they will be investigating.
"Let's call it a night for now. We will explore the forest tomorrow morning." Rias informed them.
Akeno and Vergil gave a head nod and the devils took off back to the hotel. Akeno looked at Vergil with a little concerned expression from behind as they were heading back.
Hotel Room
Once again, Vergil went out to go train at night. Akeno watched him briefly from a distance until she was joined by Rias.
"Trouble sleeping?" Akeno asked.
"Hard to fall asleep without a body pillow." Rias replied while putting on a night robe.
"When the White Knight arrived, Raiden-kun froze when he saw it." Akeno disclosed this to Rias.
"Yes, I also wanted to talk with you about that, since it is not like him to be spooked by hardly anything." Rias points out.
"Do you think he has encountered the White Knight before?"
"It's hard to say given what we know about him."
"What we do know, there isn't much about his background that we know."
"He is a half-devil and possesses a Sacred Gear from a dragon we know very little about. Half-devils are usually looked down upon and seen as impure."
"Raiden-kun may be a half-devil but is stronger than most of the devils he has encountered so far."
"Yes, he is still a bit of a mystery. I wish to learn more about my mysterious servant."
Rias began to reminisce about the night Vergil defeated Riser and the words he said to her afterwards left a great impression on her. She began to smile and looked forward to uncovering the mystery behind her servant. Rias and Akeno looked out the window to watch Vergil for a moment before heading back to bed.
Open area
Vergil continues to hone his skills and techniques in the open area. He continues to practice the style Tio went over back at the camp. After finishing his training for the night, he looks back at the hotel that he is staying in and starts heading back.
Hotel Room
Vergil made it back to the room. The lights were already out. Rias and Akeno were asleep. Vergil, not wanting to wake them up, heads for the shower. After freshening up in the shower, Vergil throws on a long-sleeved shirt and sweats while he heads over to where Rias and Akeno were sleeping. Vergil standing in between the beds of the two sleeping girls. He first turned towards Akeno, who is currently sleeping on her side with her back towards Vergil. Flashback of his fallen mother flickered for a moment. He paused for a moment. Vergil remembered Akeno was by his side while he was recovering from the first battle with Riser and assisted him in bringing back Rias.
"I'll have to show her my thanks in some way." Vergil thought to himself.
He extended his hand and grabbed a small portion of her hair and let it fall out of his hand. Vergil turns to Rias side and she is also sleeping on her side.
"The devils value power and strength above all things, you must become her strength when hers is not enough." Vergil recalls Tio's words for him to help Rias.
Vergil continues to look down at Rias who is still sleeping naked under the sheets. Flashbacks of his fallen mother from that night the demon's attacks flash before him again. A painful reminder for him.
"Might controls everything. Without strength, you cannot protect anything, let alone yourself." Vergil thought to himself while tightening his fist.
"True power, true strength come from here." Vergil recalled Tio's words.
Vergil loosen his fist and grabs a small portion of Rias's crimson hair and lets it fall out his hand. After he looked back over at Akeno side and was about to sleep elsewhere in the room until something grabbed a hold of his arm. Vergil looks down and sees Rias who is still sleeping on her back and grabs a hold of his wrist. He was about to release her hand from his wrist until she pulled Vergil into the bed and she wrapped her body around him. Rias has locked Vergil in and he has now become her body pillow. He attempted to move but she held on tighter and tighter.
"President?" Vergil was about to attempt to wake her until she uttered something while sleeping.
"Don't go." Rias uttered while holding on tightly to Vergil and kept repeating it while sleeping.
Vergil thinks back to that time during the training camp, the night they talked and when he recovered his memory. He decided there was no harm in letting her do as she pleased after what she went through.
"Heh, do as you please." Vergil allowed her to have her way.
Rias smiling, pulls Vergil's head to her breast. Vergil felt a strange fluffy sensation as his head rested in Rias's bosom.
"This is curious?" Vergil felt a strange relaxing sensation.
Rias was smirking while sleeping. The two slept pleasantly until morning came.

CH 7 Preview
Forrest
Rias and Akeno notice Vergil was carrying Yamato into the fight instead of using his Sacred Gear.
Deep in the forest, a large dragon-like demon that can fly, appears and attacks them. Its power was much higher than hers. Rias and Akeno could feel its demonic power and knew they were at a disadvantage in class and inside the current area . She decided it would be best not to engage a dangerous demon in current area. No one made any sudden movements.
"What's a demon like this doing out here?" Akeno asked.
Underground
They looked up and saw a large strange sword floating on the upper level. A large muscular man wearing a lab coat with a clipboard appeared out of the shadows.
"Hmm you guys don't look like my usual catch." Man sounded disappointed.
Sports Field
"I just remembered something essential and why I am fighting." Yuuto looked up.
"Something essential?" Asia asked.
"For what reason do you fight?" Vergil asked.
"I'm fighting for revenge. Revenge against the Holy Sword Excalibur." Yuuto answered.
