We're back on chapter nineteen.

REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN LEGEND OF KORRA OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.

The Misty Palms Oasis, where the group walked into a cantina, where they see Tonraq, Unalaq and Zuko at the far end. Korra smiles and approaches them.

"Are we late?" Korra asked.

"Korra, you're safe." Tonraq said before he hugs his daughter.

"Yeah, we made it as quick as possible. Thanks to my magic." Korra said.

Tonraq laughed. "You are a greatest sorceress. You remember Lord Zuko."

"I met you when you were a very young girl. It's good to see you again, Avatar Korra."

"It's good to see you, Lord Zuko." Korra said.

"We're glad you are safe." Unalaq said before Korra punched him in the gut.

"That's for trying to kidnap me when I was a kid." she snapped.

"Oh, uh… Zaheer told you that?" Unalaq asked.

"Yep." Korra said.

"Sorry about that." Unalaq said.

"Did you hear about the Earth Queen?" Tonraq asked.

"What about her?" Korra asked.

An urgent news from the radio. "Once again, the Earth Queen's reign has come to an abrupt and violent end. Ba Sing Se has descended into chaos. Rioters and looters have overrun the palace."

"The Coven and the Red Lotus did kill her." Asami said.

"I'm afraid this is only the beginning, Dad." Korra said.

At the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se, covered with fire. An airship takes off. A man stole the Earth Queen's luxurious vase. Another man stole her painting, while people were running.

"I can't believe it! The Upper Ring is in chaos!" Mako said in disbelief.

"Don't try to stop us; we're taking back what's ours." a looter said.

"Stop you?" A Royal Earthbender Guard takes off his helmet. "I'm gonna join you. I know where the good stuff is." The group runs off.

The looters runs past Mako and Bolin.

"Should we do something?" Bolin asked.

"This isn't our battle. We have to find our family immediately." Mako said.

"Right. Okay, find Korra, deliver message. Yeah, this should be easy. We just got to get out of the city and get to the desert, then somehow find her in the vast expansive wasteland that goes on for thousands, and thousands, of miles. This isn't gonna be easy."

Mako sees a flying airship. "We need an airship."

The brothers run to the docking bay and enter an airship, where looters were stealing airship components.

"Excuse me, may I have your attention please? I'm with the Republic City Police and I need to commandeer this airship to help the Witch-Avatar."

The looters listens to Mako, but resume their activities, oblivious to the brothers.

"Let me give it a shot. Hey, the Queen's gold's on the third floor of the palace, second door on the right!" Bolin shouts.

The looters listens in delight and run out; Bolin smugly to Mako.

"You just got to know how to talk to 'em, bro." The brothers ran to the controls.

"What, they took everything. I mean, who rips out a transmission radio?" Mako asked bluntly.

"Some folks just do not have respect for other people's property. Now let's steal this airship!"

"You know how to fly this thing?" Mako asked.

"Technically speaking, no." Bolin answered. "But, c'mon, how hard could it be?"

A glass lens falls off the control. Bolin confidently pushes a lever with his right hand, causing the airship to skid forward across the airstrip as citizens scatter.

"Up! Up!"

"I don't see any up button. I see levers and switches, oh, there it is." Bolin said before the airship rises.

The airship flies above Ba Sing Se, which was engulfed with flames.

"The whole city is falling to pieces." Mako said.

"Mako, our family's down there." Bolin said worriedly.

Mako takes over the controls. "Move over, we're getting them out."

"Oh, you think just because you dated Asami, you know how to fly this better than me?"

"Yeah. Pretty much it." Mako replied.

Mako pilots the airship above their paternal family's house and opens the hatch.

Once the brothers arrive, Bolin slides down the hatch, enters the home via the window, and discovers the family still in the house with no apparent attempts at leaving.

"Bolin? What are you doing here?" Cow asked.

"I came to get you guys out. This whole block is about to go up in flames. Come on, Mako and I have an airship on the roof."

"We can't. Grandma won't go." Tu said.

"This place is my whole world. I will not leave!" Yin said stubbornly before she walks up to Bolin. "Oh, but I'm so glad my little Bolin has come back to visit. Sit down, would you like some tea?"

Smoke seeps through the door behind. "Grandma, we don't have time for tea." Bolin said.

"Mom, please!" Chow begged.

"No! I can't abandon the place where I raised my family. It's my home." Yin said obstinately.

"Grandma, there's one thing Mako and I've learned from all our years on the street. It doesn't matter where you go. If you have your family with you, you'll always be at home."

"I'm not going." Yin said firmly.

"Fine!" Bolin slings his grandmother over one shoulder. "You leave me no choice. We're rolling out!"

"Wait." Yin takes the portrait of Hou-Ting. "Okay, let's go!"

Before Bolin could walk out, smoke appeared, and when it clears, Satsujin roared, and Bolin and Yin screamed.

The maniac warlock screeched and laughed at Bolin. "Can I have a cup of tea?"

Mogui entered the room with red energy around his hands.

"Time for a family reunion." he said wickedly. "Hey, did you know your son married my descendant Noaki?"

Bolin threw a rock at Satsujin, but he dodged it with his magic. Yin threw a kettle full of hot tea and the hot water was on his face.

"OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OW!" Satsujin shouted in pain. "That really hurt."

Mogui tried to attack, but Bolin threw a rock to his crotch.

"OOOOOOOHHHH!" Mogui shouted in a high-pitched voice and fell to his knees. "My crystal orbs. Bolin, how could you do that to your ancestor?"

Mogui fell on his face.

"Sorry." Bolin said.

Bolin walks out of the house. The entire family climbs up to the airship. The airship leaves the house before the fire consumes everything.

"Thanks for getting us out of there. I mean, I probably could have handled it myself if you guys didn't show up, but, thanks." Tu said.

Yin hangs the portrait of Hou-Ting. "May she rest in peace. This airship is nice. Is it our new home?"

"No, Grandma. I'm not sure where we're gonna take you, but right now, we need to get back to Korra." Mako said.

"Did something happen to the Avatar?" Chow asked.

Mako pulls out a map and opens it. "Not yet. She's near the Misty Palms Oasis."

Mako used the ring Korra gave him to create a portal back to the Misty Palms Oasis.

Mogui and Satsujin looked out the window.

"Hey, kiddos! Tell Korra we're going to the Northern Air Temple, and we'll kill them if she doesn't turn her over to us!"

Meanwhile, at Si Wong Desert at daybreak as everyone in the airship inspect the desert. Outside the Misty Palms Oasis where Druk was resting, but flies off upon seeing the airship land heavily.

"See, I told you. Landing is hard." Bolin said.

The Misty Palms Oasis where numerous spirits have gathered around the iceberg. The family walks up to the iceberg.

"Spirits!" a female relative said.

Korra and Asami run out of the cantina.

"You guys okay?" Korra asked.

"We're all right." Mako said.

"Good. You guys aren't dead." Lin said.

"Don't get all mushy on me, Chief." Mako said before he bows. "Tonraq. Sir." Tonraq nods to him.

Bolin slides toward Lord Zuko. "Oh my God, it's Lord Zuko! I can't believe it." He tries to suppress his laughs of excitement.

"Um, forgive my brother. We're just really honoured to meet you, sir." Mako and Bolin bow in respect to Zuko.

Zuko bows back. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well."

Yin walks up to Korra. "You must be the Witch-Avatar." she said. "Mako told me so much about you. You are even more beautiful than I imagined. Even very muscular for a woman."

"Um, thanks. You, too?" Korra said.

"What lovely young women. Mako, why aren't you dating any nice girls like them?" Yin asked before Korra and Asami grimace and smile in awkwardness.

"They're headed to the Northern Air Temple as we speak." Mako said. "Mogui said they're gonna wipe out the new Air Nation and everyone in it. Unless you turn yourself over to him."

Korra listens to the news in disbelief and worry.

"Zaheer and the Coven are threatening innocent lives just to get to me." Korra said.

"They could be bluffing." Tonraq said.

"They already taken out the Earth Queen. I don't think he bluffs." Unalaq said.

"We need to radio Tenzin and warn him that the Red Lotus and the Shadow Coven are coming." Korra said.

"I agree. Unfortunately, we don't have a radio on the airship." Mako said.

"There's a portable radio on the jeep, but the signal will never make it to the Northern Air Temple." Tonraq said.

"We need to get to a place that has a strong radio transmitter. The Metal Clan will have one." Lin said.

"Let's go. We'll radio Su on the way. Hopefully she can get a hold of Tenzin at the air temple by the time we get to Zaofu." Korra said.

Chapter twenty will be coming soon.
