NOTE: This chapter is a flashback, not a continuation. It's a flashback about how Pyra and Ike met.
It's night time around 9:00pm and everyone was talking about the new coming to the mansion. The smashers were dressed properly. The women wore dresses while the men wore suits with ties or bows. Master Hand came to the smashers and announced, "Hello, ladies and gentlemen, we would like to welcome the new member of our Smash Family." Everyone was shocked, yet excited to see what the new member would look like. "Here she comes!" Master Hand said in an excited way. The red heels clicked and the it was revealed to be a young woman with red hair with a bobcut, red eyes, and a red dress. Peach and Zelda were awed by her presence and beauty while the most of the men in the Smash Mansion blushed because of her beauty. Zelda squealed, held Peach's arm and exclaimed, "She's so pretty!" Palutena came up to the girl and said, "Hello, madam. What is your name?" The young woman looked up at her and answered, "My name is Pyra. I have a alter ego who's name is Mythra. Right now, she's resting because she wants to take a break from fighting." Zelda ran up to the girl and exclaimed, "Why hello, Pyra! I'm Zelda, the princess of Hyrule!" Pyra was surprised to hear the hylian is a princess. The princess took the redhead's hand and introduced Peach. "Pyra, this is my best princess friend, Peach. She's the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom." Zelda introduced Pyra to Peach, much to the Aegis' surprise. "Wow! You're a princess, too!?" Pyra looked at Peach in excitement. Peach giggled and revealed to her, "I am, and the Mushroom Kingdom has toads in there."
"Wait, like the frog like people?" Pyra questioned in confusion. Peach giggled and said, "No, what I'm saying is that they are mushroom like people, but they are short." Master Hand announced, "Alright, smashers. It's time for dinner in the ballroom, so please be there." The smashers then strolled to their destination that they should go. Pyra followed them, but she tripped over and was about to fall on her back. However, a sudden person catched her. "That was close! Are you okay?" A deep voice asked her while holding her in a princess fashion. The Aegis peeked one eye open and it was a young looking man with blue hair, blue eyes, and has a headband wrapped around his forehead. He was on the floor with his knees and held her in his arms. The girl blushed because she found the man very attractive. "Umm, would y-you carry me to the ballroom?" The red haired lady requested as she wrapped her arms around his neck. The man nodded and stood up, began carrying her to the ballroom. While the man was strolling, she gripped his suit tightly and asked him, "Sir, what's your name?" The teen looked down at her while strolling. "My name is Ike." The man's name revealed to be Ike. "You must be Pyra." He added in a calm tone. The girl gripped on his suit tighter and tighter.
Ballroom
When they arrived at the ballroom, there was most smashers sitting on the table. Ike then strolled to the table while carrying Pyra and placed her on the chair that was next to Zelda and Samus and scooted her chair. He sat next to Cloud and Link. Master Hand brought out the food telekinetically, which is steak, mac and cheese, stuffing, chicken, seven layer salad and for dessert, pies, chocolate chip cookies, over sized chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate chip, and cheesecake that is also oversized with cookies as the topping. He placed them down on the table and said, "To Pyra and Mythra, we want to make this night as a celebration not only them joining the mansion, but for you guys being very grateful and having fun together all the time. We want to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable. We don't fight to win, we fight for justice and to have fun." Everyone was listening to Master Hand's words, some of them closed their eyes and listened at the same time. "64, Melee, Brawl, 4, and Ultimate.. We have come together to create memories and experiences. This mansion came to us since 1999. I want everyone to cherish forever." Master Hand continued. "Cheers!" He then finished his speech and everyone said the same thing that he said, but everyone pumped their fists out. The smashers brought their plates and went in line.
After 30 minutes of them picking out their food.
30 minutes of them picking out their food, everyone eats their food. Pyra, who is the new girl, picked out mac and cheese and chicken and ate her dinner. She looked at Ike, who was only eating chicken and steak like an animal. "Psst, are you going to eat your food?" Zelda whispered to her while the latter was still looking at the teen. "I am." Pyra replied to her before grabbing the fork and poking the mac and cheese, lifted the fork with the mac and cheese and eating it. She blushed at looked and Ike looked at her back. "What is it, my princess?" Ike asked her, causing her to blush severely. "Ummm, n-nothing.." Pyra replied to him. Ike stood up and walked up to her and put his hand on her forehead. "Do you have a fever? I'll feel your head." Ike said while he was doing that. However, Pyra fainted due to blushing severely when his hand was on her hand. Everyone was shocked at this and went around Pyra to see if she's okay. "Pyra!" Zelda screamed as she stood up from her chair.
Pyra woke up in someone's bed and noticed she was in a different place. The washcloth was on her forehead and it was very cool. At the same time, she realized her shoes are on the floor, currently not wearing them. Someone opened on the open and it was revealed to be Ike with Master Hand. "Are you alright?" Ike asked the girl, who was on the bed. "Yeah, I fainted because I blushed too much." Pyra responded to the young man. "I thought you have a fever, so I carried you into our room and got a cold washcloth to heal you." Ike explained to her. Pyra was confused when he said his room. "O-our room?" Pyra questioned in bewilderment. Master Hand came up to her and responded, "Yes, you, Ike and the other person share dorms together."
"Who is the other person?" Pyra asked. A blonde young man walked between Ike and Master Hand. "Yo, I'm Cloud. You must be Pyra." The man's name was revealed to be Cloud. "These two young men are your roommates, they'll guide you around what's in the mansion." Master Hand revealed to Pyra, who was on the bed. The red head then placed the washcloth down, got up out her shoes on that was right next to the bed and went to Ike and Cloud. "You kids have fun on your guide!" Master Hand bid them goodbye as he teleported himself to his office. The blonde mercenary sighed after Master Hand left. "Welcome to our trip to the mansion, milady." Cloud told her in a calm, yet somewhat tired tone. However, they heard a sudden voice in the hallway that was right behind them, and was screaming. "Oh god, it's Link..." Ike realized the scream was Link. The hylian ran up to the three and greeted them excitedly, "Yo, yo, yo!" He hugged them, much to Cloud and Ike's chagrin while Pyra was surprised. A sigh came out of Ike's mouth and said, "What do you want, Link?"
"I heard you're guiding the new lady there," Link answered with a eager tone while he stopped hugging them. "And I want to guide her also!" Pyra was happy to me a friend of her two roommates. "Nice to meet you, I'm Pyra." She introduced herself as she held out her hand, wanting a handshake. Link, however, was too giddy to meet the girl and shook her hand too faster. "I'm Link, and it's so great to meet you!" The young man exclaimed while her hand too fast. Cloud let out a sigh and said flatly, "Now that we have three people guiding the girl, we can now start our guide." They walked to their first destination and it was the training room.
Training Room
After 7 minutes of walking towards the training room, they found their destination. Ike opened the door for and said, "Ladies first." Pyra went inside first before Ike, Cloud and Link came in. While the training room is all white, it has a lot of things like items, sandbags and fighters can pick their own stage. "This is the training room. It's where you can train to get stronger, you can hit sandbags, and not only items you can choose while training, but you can pick your own stage while training." Ike explained to her while introducing the training room. Pyra was awed by the fact it was too big and she can choose her own stage. She touched the sandbag and said, "This is for beating it up?" Link nodded and exclaimed, "Yeah, you can beat it up! It doesn't mind being hit!"
"I want to see more of this mansion!" Pyra screamed in excitement. Ike nodded at the girl, while Cloud, despite being tired, agreed and continued to guide her. They walked for about 3 minutes and their next destination was the cafeteria.
Cafeteria
"This is the cafeteria where you can get food from Chef Kawasaki and eat. You even can communicate with your friends." Ike explained to her, much to Pyra's surprise. The cafeteria was very massive, unlike the average cafeteria. However, she was confused about who is Chef Kawasaki. "Who is Chef Kawasaki?" Pyra asked in bewilderment. Suddenly, a person came up to her and asked, "Are you okay, Pyra?" Pyra was startled by the question and turned around. It was revealed to be Zelda, who was actually concerned about her. "Yeah, I'm okay. It's the severe blushing, it's not a fever." Pyra explained what happened before she fainted. "Ohh, now I understand!" Zelda replied with bewilderment. "You fainted because you blushed too much?" Pyra nodded at Zelda's question. The princess thought of something and wanted to show her the chef. "Oh, do you want to see the chef?" The princess of hyrule asked. Ike, Link, Cloud, and Pyra nodded and Zelda called him by whistling with her fingers. The chef quickly came out and gave the five a bow of greeting. Pyra then greeted him with a bow also. "He sometimes speak, but most of all, he's quiet." Cloud explained to her who is Kawasaki. "Oh, there's more Kawasakis in the mansion." Link added with a smile on his face. More Kawasakis came up to the room and there were over 25 of them. "Woah.." Pyra was amazed by the fact the Kawasakis can feed the fighters with their food. "We have more chefs, because there's a lot of us living in the mansion." Zelda replied to the girl. "The last step is we will go to the hot springs." Cloud said to the Aegis, who was very impressed by being guided by their roommates and two Hylians.
Hot Springs
After approximately five minutes of strolling, they now find their destination, the hot springs. It was located downstairs in the public bathroom. The hot springs room was very large and filled with hot steam, wooden buckets, and towels on the rack. "This is the hot springs, it's where you take a good bath and relax." Link explained to her in a excited way. "Though, this is the women's hot springs. You don't wanna see the men's. It's disgusting." Much to his chagrin, Ike punched Link back hand, knocking him out. "You can also use wooden buckets to pour yourself with water." Zelda explained while holding the bucket. Pyra was awed by the fact they have a hot springs. "I've never seen an awesome hot springs before in my entire life!" Pyra exclaimed excitedly while her hands were on her face. The red haired girl smiled before saying, "Thank you for guiding me inside the mansion." Ike slightly blushed and said, "You're welcome, milady." Link got up from the knock out, his nose was bleeding. "Oww.. Why the punch though?" The Hero of the Wilds asked while putting his hand on his face, in pain. "Because I can." Ike responded to the young hylian man. However, the beorc noticed that her eyes are droopy and she was about to fall asleep. "Are you alright, milady?" Link asked her. The Aegis' eyes woke up and the girl looked at him. "Oh, I-I'm fine." The Aegis responded and smiled at him. "I think you need some sleep." Ike revealed to her in concern. Zelda looked closely and noticed her eyes were still droopy and twitching. "You do need some rest." Zelda replied to the girl who is about to fall asleep.
"N-no, I don't! I'm perfectly fine." Pyra said in denial. "Are you sure? Because your eyes are droopy this whole time in the hot springs." Cloud asked her. "Yeah, I'm 100% percent sure." However, she fell on the floor, her legs were about to fall asleep. Ike walked up to her and kneeled down beside her. "Come on, now. I know you're going to fall asleep." Ike kept on revealing to her that she's about to fall asleep. Pyra kept on denying, saying, "Ike, I'm not going to sleep, I promise." Ike ignored her denials and picked her up in his arms with no strains. "Ahh, p-put me down!" Pyra screamed as she blushed about being carried. "Well, it's the end of the guide in the mansion." Link stretched his arms out. "Come on, babe. We have to go to bed." Zelda walked up to him and kissed him on the lips prior to Link kissing her back. "Wait, you guys are dating?!" Pyra asked in a bewildered way. "Yep, that's my man." Zelda answered her question after she stopped the kiss. "Good night, you three." Link greeted them goodbye before Zelda teleported, along with him, to their dorms separately, leaving Ike, Cloud and Pyra behind.
"Let's just go back to our dorms." Cloud demanded the two. "Ike, put me down! Please!" Pyra tried to demand the beorc to put her down, but the demand was wasted on Ike. They strolled up the stairs and strolled to their dorms.
Ike, Cloud, and Pyra's Dorms
While going back to their dorms, Pyra rested her head on Ike's chest and clutched on Ike's suit. "Thank you for carrying me the way back." Pyra mumbled as she closed her eyes. Ike and Cloud noticed that she went limp and was snoring softly. Ike looked down at her and smiled at the girl who was sleeping. When they arrived at their dorms, Cloud looked at the Aegis and like what Ike did, he smiled at her. "She'll make a new addition to us." Cloud commented with a smile on his face. He opened the door and noticed something was off. His bed was now in the middle, Ike's bed was on the left and a bed was on the right. The bed on the right was Pyra and Mythra's bed with red blankets, green pillows, plushies on their bed and a closet next to their bed. "It's Pyra's bed, Cloud. Master Hand changed our rooms while we were guiding her." Ike explained to him while carrying the girl. "I thought he was going to do office work." Cloud thought about the office work. Ike shook his head and said, "He did this in order to add a new bed in our room." Cloud nodded, still opening the door and let Ike in first. Ike strolled towards Pyra's bed and carefully laid her down on it. He took her shoes off, covered her with a blanket, and whispered, "Goodnight, Pyra." Cloud went in and took off his suit, leaving him with his boxers. He strolled to the closet and got his pjs. He put on his shirt and sweatpants and went to bed. Ike did the same thing as Cloud did, taking off his suit, reached for his pjs and put them on. However, the only difference is that while he sleeps with sweatpants, he doesn't have a shirt on, exposing his abs and pecs. He went to bed and told Cloud, "Goodnight, Cloud." The blonde young man heard his words and responded, "Good night, Ike." Cloud then fell asleep, which Ike noticed and the sleep took the beorc. The three of them fell asleep, the room was all quiet.
