This is it, folks! We are now onto the final chapter!
Will The Ghost of Christmas Future make The Grinch see the error of his ways? Only one way to find out!
The Grinch opened his eyes, & sees that The Wolf has brought him to the graveyard! There was an eerie fog around the graveyard to make it even more creepy than it already is!
"Wh-where are we?" The Grinch asked nervously.
"Your Christmas future." The Wolf answered.
"I don't mean to tell you about your job, & I hate to be stubborn or anything, but I think you got the wrong holiday!" The Grinch told him as he looked round the graveyard. "Because this place has Halloween vibe to it!"
"Well it is your future, Grinch!" The Wolf told him sternly before noticing something, which made him smirk. "And it looks like we're right on time!"
The Grinch sees Lincoln & his little sister Lily looking down at a grave. To his surprise, the rest of The Loud Family wasn't there, which was hardly surprising since the rest of the family loathed The Grinch for mistreating & abusing Lincoln. Quietly, The Grinch & The Wold approached them to avoid being spotted.
"Who's the sorry sap that's taking a dirt nap?" The Grinch asked.
"Why don't you see for yourself?" The Wolf said, pointing at the grave.
The Grinch turned to the grave, & when the fog moved away… it's revealed to be his own grave! The Grinch was shocked & horrified seeing this, & they listen to what Lincoln is saying.
"Mr Grinch never had a family or friends in that matter." Lincoln told his little sister "But maybe now, he'll finally get what he's always wanted. And that is to be alone with his money forever."
Hearing that didn't make The Grinch feel comfortable. "Surely I did some good for others, right? I provided them with gainful employment! …Right?"
"The Grinch tried to leave the store to himself in his will, which of course is illegal." Lincoln continued "And because of that, The Lucky Green has been shut down, & we are all out of jobs."
"Gainful employment, huh?" The Wolf repeated as The Grinch facepalmed himself.
"But now, for the first time in years, we can all spend Christmas with our families." Lincoln finished as he placed the flowers on the grave. "Goodbye Mr Grinch, or as you like to say: "Bah Humbug!". Let's go, Lily."
Lincoln & Lily leaves the grave, & The Grinch & The Wolf turned back to it. The Grinch felt scared that he's gonna end up alone with no friends, family or loved ones!
"How far into the future are we?" The Grinch asked nervously. "And... How did I die?"
"We are one year into the future!" The Wolf explained as he grabbed his Scythes. "And as for how you died, well that's easy... I ended it."
"WHAT!?" The Grinch exclaimed in shock and horror.
"That's right! You see, I'm not just The Ghost of Christmas Future, I'm far more than that!" The Wolf explained as he slowly crept up to The Grinch with a grin. "I'm more than just a Ghost or a Phantom or even a Spirit. I. Am. Death."
When The Grinch heard that, his heart began to beat very fast, & his green fur began to stand up! He was horrified to know that he wasn't just facing a Ghost, he is facing the living embodiment of Death himself!
"And I don't mean it metaphorically or rhetorically or poetically or theoretically or in any other fancy way, I'm Death. Straight. Up!" Death said in a menacing tone "And I've come for YOU, Señor Grinch!"
"But I'm still alive!" The Grinch said fearfully.
"You know, I may not look or sound like it, but I'm a Christmas guy." Death told him. "And I find the very idea of people ruining Christmas just because of their own hatred for the Holiday absurd!" He explained as he points his Scythe at The Grinch. "And you are the very definition of it! So why don't I do us a favor and take your life? Now!"
"NO! Don't do this, please!" The Grinch pleaded as he got on his knees and begged Death to spare his life. "I don't wanna end up lonely... And alone! I can change! Please! Give me a second chance!"
But before Death could say anything, he noticed something. The same goes for The Grinch. They see Lily walking up to the grave with a plate of cookies.
"Mr Grinch. I know everyone hated you, including my big brother Lincoln. But I never hated you." Lily spoke to the grave. "Because I know what it's like to feel sad and alone on Christmas. Even though I have 10 siblings, I've always wanted to spend christmas with my Big Brother. But when he's not here to spend it, I usually get very sad and angry as well."
"Wh-what..?" The Grinch whispered in shock at what Lily had just said.
"So… if you are up there, watching or down there in your case, I just wanna say that you don't have to be alone anymore." Lily said with a smile. "Because from now on, every Christmas, I'll come visit you. In case you don't know, I made you some Christmas cookies." She said as she placed the cookies down. "Merry Christmas, Mr Grinch."
While Lily leaves the grave to head back to her brother, The Grinch turned to the cookies, & for the first time ever, has tears going down his eyes. He now realizes thatChristmas isn't about money or the things you get; It's about giving & being there for others. He sniffles, & wiped away some tears before turning to Death.
"Look Mr Death, I know I've said that I'm sorry before, but… now I really am." The Grinch said in an honest tone, some of his remaining tears falling down. "Please. Can I have another chance & make things right?"
Death looked at The Grinch with a stern look for a second, then gave a sigh, making his decision. "Very well, Grinch. I will give you another chance." He told him. "BUT. This is your last & ONLY chance. If you revert back to a selfish, greedy crook you are, I WILL come back & won't even hesitate to end your life. Understood?"
"I promise." The Grinch nodded with a sincere look.
"Very well then. Your wish will therefore be granted." Death said.
With that, he used his Scythes to surround The Grinch in purple flames, which made him scream in panic! But when he opened his eyes, he finds himself outside of his store, much to his relief.
"I'm alive! I'm okay!" The Grinch said in a happy tone. "But more importantly, I'm a changed man, filled with the spirit of giving!"
The Grinch sees a pile of snow near a lampost, & remember who was there earlier. "Wazowski!" He quickly gets the snow off, & sees Mike Wazowski fast asleep, snoring away.
"Mike! Mike Wazowski! Wake up!" The Grinch said as he shakes Mike awake. "What day is it!?"
"Christmas Day…" Mike said with a yawn as he slowly wakes up.
"Then I haven't missed it!" The Grinch said with a smile before turning to Mike. "Wazowski, I'm giving you a raise and a month-long vacation in Sunny Hawaii!"
"Wait, really!?" Mike asked in a shocked and happy tone.
"Yep! BUT! We have work to do, so get up, & come with me!" The Grinch said as he grabs Mike up to his arms, & runs into the store. "It's time to save Christmas!"
Hours later
It was now 5am. All of the store employees are walking into the store, all very depressed as they have to work on Holiday. But that's not all, Lincoln's sisters are there as well in form of support for their brother, & to teach that Grinch a lesson for making him work & miss Christmas.
Suddenly, all of their expressions all changed when they see a star on a Christmas Tree lit up. Everyone was amazing at what they're seeing, & sees The Grinch, wearing a Santa outfit & is feeling very cheerful.
"Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!" The Grinch said cheerfully as he approaches Star, & hands her the scissors. "Miss Star, I've brought you some Dimensional Scissors so you can go home for the Holidays. These ones leads directly Mewni, so you should be able to make it by about an hour or two! And, you can also use them to see your boyfriend Marco again!"
"O-Oh my God! T-This is amazing!" Star said as she shed tears of joy, knowing that she'll be able to see her family & boyfriend Marco for Christmas. "Th-Thank you, Mr Grinch!"
The Grinch approaches Pooh. "You'll never be hungry again Pooh Bear, because I'm hiring you as your own personal chef!"
Pooh sees the Sweedish Chef (The Muppets) approaching him.
"Hurshin hurmadur, honey honey bear bear!" The Swedish Chef said in his usual voice as he revealed some honey on a silver platter.
"Oh ho ho! This is the best Christmas gift ever!" Pooh said, as he starts eating the honey happily.
The Grinch went to Starfire next, & gives her a gift. "Merry Christmas, Starfire. Or as they say in your planet, "Flonz Flugubord!""
"That's not how you pronounce it!" Said Starfire in annoyance, but she shrugs it off as she takes her gift. "But close enough. Thanks, Grinch!"
Next up was Lincoln & His Sisters, although all of his sisters kept their glare on The Grinch, in case he tried to do something to their brother.
"Now now, I'm not here to bully your brother. In fact…" Said The Grinch as he hands out a Barbie Doll to Lily, "A Pretty Princess Barbie doll for a pretty little girl, & some Barbie accessories with some Barbie ponies and Barbie dream houses and basically the entire collection."
The Grinch snaps his fingers, & much to the Loud's surprise, they see Mike Wazowski wheeling in a lot of Barbie accessories! The Loud Sisters were all surprised by this. They didn't think The Grinch would be this nice to give their baby sister her most wanted present! But Lily on the other hand was super happy! Not only did she get a doll she asked for, but now she has completed her entire collection!
"Oh, but that's not all! I'm giving your broth- Oop! I mean, my new store manager," The Grinch said with a smile, which shocked Lincoln and his sisters. "And all of my loyal employees a raise and a paid vacation!"
"Mr Grinch? Are you feeling ok, sir?" Lincoln asked in confusion as everyone else was confused as well.
"Oh, I'm better than okay, Lincoln." The Grinch said with a smile. "After all these years of greed and selfishness I finally feel like... A Lucky Green toon!"
"Dudes, It's a miracle!" Luna said in shock.
"Yeah. A miracle." Lincoln agreed with a smile. "It seems The Grinch changed for the better."
And so, instead of working, all the employees are having a Christmas party from dancing, enjoying the food & mingling with one another! The Grinch have an
employee vest to Blue so she doesn't have to be broke or homeless anymore, making Blue bark happily. Lincoln & his sisters approached him.
"Mr Grinch? I know that you don't have a family to spend Christmas with," Lincoln started, which The Grinch gave a small nod. "But after some talking and reasoning with my sisters… we'd like you to be part of ours."
"Because no one deserves to be alone on Christmas." Lily said as she gave The Grinch a hug, to which he hugged back with a smile, a happy tear fallen down his cheek.
As everyone is enjoying the party, The Grinch had some deep thoughts in his mind as he looked around & sees his employees receiving the gifts & vacations they're gonna have.
"Presents. Cash bonuses. Improved health coverage. I'm gonna go broke!" The Grinch said as he started to feel like his old self again. "Hmmm, I've gonna find a way to reverse this situation! Should I still back all the presents? Should I cut everyone's salaries? I gonna concentrate!"
The Grinch feels someone pulling his shirt, & looks down to see Lily with some cookies with her.
"Excuse me, sir. Would you like a cookie?" Lily offered with a smile.
The Grinch takes the cookie & looks at it. It made his heart warm up & he has tears in his eyes before he gave a smile.
"Merry Christmas, Uncle Grinch." Said Lily with a smile.
"Uncle? Heh heh, ok. That might be pushing it a little." The Grinch said. But Lily hugs him, & kisses his cheek. The Grinch sighed & smiles. "Alright. Uncle Grinch it is."
Unbeknownst to them, all 3 ghosts of Christmases were all looking down at The Grinch with satisfied smile. They were all proud that The Grinch had finally
redeemed himself and found the right heart.
"Well, he did it. He turned himself around." Po said with a smile. "Now this is what I call an awesome Christmas!"
"I must agree." Death nodded in agreement. "I mean, at first we came after a selfish greedy boss who thought it was good idea to ruin Christmas for everyone. But the way I see it, I don't see him like that anymore." He said with a smile before turning to his ghostly allies. "But you do know that I'll meet up with him again, right?"
"We know, Death. We know." Elsa said
Lincoln then tapped on a glass. "Everyone, I would like to propose a toast! To Mr Grinch, the greatest boss ever!"
"Merry Christmas!" Everyone toasted and cheered, & continued the Christmas Party. Outside the store, Mr Puzzles was looking through the window & smiled as he sees The Grinch has now finally changed his greedy ways, & now understood the true meaning of Christmas!
"Don't you just love the Holidays?" Mr Puzzles asked as he held the candy cane, & chuckled. "Merry Christmas, everyone! From all of us here in ToonTown, and a Happy New Year too!"
Mr Puzzles makes his way to his own Christmas Party, as everyone inside of The Lucky Green was enjoying the Christmas Party and having fun. This was one
christmas that they will never, ever forget!

A/N: Well folks, that's it. The end of She story. The Grinch redeemed himself, & has finally learnt the true meaning of Christmas!
