Mr Krabs walked home from work, whistling a sea shanty to himself. Life was good. Sure, he was almost out of the steak that he had gotten from….places, but he would just start selling the Krabby Patties again afterwards. As he approached the door of his anchor home, he pulled his keys out of his pocket and opened the door.
However, as he entered, he heard a scream of pain. He quickly ran to where he heard it, and found his whale daughter Pearl writhing in pain on the ground, holding her stomach in pain. Terrified and confused, Mr Krabs asked her,
"Pearlie?! What's happenin'?!"
Pearl managed to tell him through her great pain,
"Tummy….hurts….ate….steak…."
To Eugene's shock and horror, Pearl's belly began to expand, and after a few seconds, she…gave birth, to 5 small brown female foxes with full long heads of human hair. Krabs was left to stare at the scene in horror as the foxes all then yelled out,
"Grandpaaaa! Thank you for eating us! We have fulfilled our mission to create more fox spirits!"
The infant foxes then began swarming Krabs and Pearl, calling Pearl momma and Krabs grandpa. Said greedy crustacean soon let out a resounding,
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Later, Mr Krabs would discover that he had missed a part in the book he had read. Apparently, when a female consumed a fox spirit's meat, they would end up causing the fox spirit to be reincarnated through them, but the fox spirit's soul, and so the amount of children, would be split into 5. The children would then see this as their intended purpose and latch on to the family that had bore them.
However, Krabs was having none of this. The 5 fox spirit children were quickly shipped off to an orphanage far away from Bikini Bottom as soon as he got his bearings, and he then ordered a traumatized Pearl to never speak of this to anyone. Pearl quickly agreed, and the two then returned to their daily lives, this whole bizarre experience behind them…
Author's note (and confession): Hey, I'm sorry this chapter was so short, but there was only really one scene I had left to write and that was this one. As for why this took so long even though it was so short…well, the day I uploaded this chapter, my last remaining grandpa died. He had apparently been battling cancer for awhile, but the day I uploaded the last chapter, his condition suddenly flared up and he died not long after.
I kind of convinced myself that what I had written was so bad that it cursed my grandpa to die, so I was really hesitant to write this last chapter out of fear of what would happen. My parents were away for the funeral, so I stopped uploading out of fear of what would happen if I did. But they're back now, so I've uploaded all of the chapters that were on standby. I even decided to finish this.
I hope you all understand.
