"Lady shena," a voice said. My eyes were still closed. Maybe if I ignore him he will go away, I thought. I kept my eyes shut and kept my breathing steady. I felt a warm hand touch my arm. I quickly leapt up and punched my servant in his face. He got sent reeling backwards and landed on his back. "Don't touch me" I yelled. The mark on my head started to spread. I could feel it. My servant Albert got up. "Please miss shena, let's talk about this," he said. I reached my hand out to finish him. "Daughter," a loud booming voice yelled. The yell was so loud it shook my room and me. It made me fall off my bed. "Coming dad" I yelled back. I put my slippers on before walking past my servant who was bleeding in the nose. While walking I slightly turned my head back and saw my servant wiping his bloody nose with a cloth. I turned my head back around. Serves him right no one touches me! I thought to myself. While walking down the halls I saw old pictures of the old royal families on the walls. According to my father all of them were slayed by angels. I looked up at all of the tiny chandeliers that were lined throughout the hall. Eventually I walked up to two big double doors. I opened the doors and walked in. My dad, the demon king, was upon the throne. It had skulls of the people who had defied him including….my sister. There were pictures of me and him next to his throne. "Shena, what took you so long? I have more important things to do than waiting for you!" he said in a deep voice. I was going to answer him but then he squinted his red eyes at me. "Why is your demon mark activated?" he asked. Oh shoot, I'm screwed. If I lie then he'll be mad if I don't he'll still be mad I thought to myself. He sat their waiting for my response. I turned around and ran out the door. "Stop her!" he yelled. I kept running and other lesser demons like the big and fat red demon and the tall skinny grey demon chased me down the halls. I started to get closer to the exit. Then one of the red demons. "Got you now you little brat" he said. I slowly turned my head as my mark got bigger."What did you just call me?" I said. A black fire engulfed my arm and started to spread to the red demon's arm. He let go and started to scream in pain as the fire engulfed his body. Until he was a pile of ash. I then continued to run. Until I reached the exit and ran out. The outside of the castle was fire and rocks. I kept running and running and running. I soon stopped because I was out of breath. "Hey there" a croaky voice said. I turned my head and saw a figure wearing a black hood. Without a second thought I used my powers to move quickly and strike them down. But when I lunged forward my fist hit nothing. I turned around and they were standing right where I was before. "Hey, that's cheating!" I yelled. "I am not here to fight, I'm here to share my knowledge with you," the figure said. It waved its hand and a campfire appeared. I rolled my eyes "wow a fancy magic trick" I said sarcastically. It sat near the fire and motioned for me to sit down. Instead of sitting near the campfire I sat where I was. "Alright now talk" I said. The figure's eyes started to glow. Even though I couldn't see their face I could see their eyes. "You are one of the banful knights. You are the knight of war, the angel knight of wrath and a human boy the knight of death. You must all come together to stop a threat" it said. "Hold on just a little question. First off I was asking why you were staring at me, not about this. Also why couldn't I be the knight of death? This is rigged. Lastly, why an angel and a human boy. The angels have been at war with us for thousands of years. And the boy humans are frail" I said. The figure stood up slowly, turned around and faded into the shadows. The fire disappeared along with the figure. I stood up and sighed. I continued to walk while pondering about many things. Why would a stupid angel and a frail human be in a special prophecy with me I thought. A giant crack was in my path so I leapt over it and kept treading along the molten rocks. I need to figure out how to make it to the human realm. If I stay here much longer my dad will find me and….. I need to find a portal I thought to myself. After an endless amount of walking I saw a tiny crack in the floor but its light was purple. This is something important or a treasure I thought to myself. I raised my leg up then slammed it down and a giant hole appeared in the ground. But it started to get bigger and I fell in. I was floating but I was also moving up. All I could see was the color light purple all around me. Eventually after floating for a while I landed on some grass. Ouch I thought to myself. I looked around and there were flowers, bunnies and deer. So this is what the human realm looks like. It's so boring, I thought to myself. I slowly stood up and stretched. I looked in a random direction and started to walk. I was on a rocky path and there were trees that stretched alongside the path. I kept walking and walking until I saw a sign that pointed forward and said skyburg village up ahead. I kept walking in that direction until I arrived at the town. There were plants and houses everywhere. There was a little pond and I walked up to it to see my reflection. My hair tie was broken so my hair was just flying everywhere and…. There was a mark on my neck. Not my demon mark, it was red and had two swords that looked like they were clashing against each other. Also there were rips here and there on my shirt. I sighed and walked away from the pond. As I walked past the villagers they all seemed to ignore my existence. Soon I saw a big guy. He was a little hairy and he seemed to be armwrestling people. I rolled my eyes and was about to turn away until I saw a sign by him that said whoever can bet him gets 100$. I ran up the line pushing people out the way and then it was my turn. I sat down on the stool in front of him. "Oh looks like this little girl wants to try and beat me, the great buster" he said. We both got our arms ready and the ref said " go!". The guy started and tried to pull my arm down but I just yawned. I slammed his arm on the table without using any magic and the strength from it cracked and broke the table. The guy started to yell as he held his hand. A lot of the village members surrounded me with weapons. "Get her! The guy yelled. I sighed and a woman rushed at me with a knife but I easily whacked her away from me. Then a guy rushed at me with his bare hands and I grabbed his arm and threw him up. When the villagers realized they couldn't beat me by taking turns they tried to dogpile me. But I used my demon magic to blast all of them off at the same time. My magic left a little crater around me. An old guy stood up and yelled. "She's one of the banful knights, the knight of war". I dashed to the money, grabbed it and ran. The people chased me for a while before giving up. Even though I was out of breath I kept walking. I stumbled upon a huge hill and climbed up it. When I reached the top I saw a huge kingdom. Guess I better head that way I thought to myself. I jumped down from the mountain and made my way to the kingdom.
