Flashback to a couple of years ago...
Thunderstrike stood before a council of Star Fleet admirals, captains, senators, and congressmen from all the surviving planets he helped attack or conquer in the name of Megatron's justice. With his head down, blood dripping from his nose from the last and final battle against the Galaxy and the Decepticon Party. His Decepticon badge which has always rested on his tactical jacket/vest over where his heart would be was gone. It was like many of the other Decepticon badges were resting on the evidence table or were being held by the hands of the President of Earth.
"Thunderstrike," The President of Earth speaks, "This council finds you guilty of treason against the planets you have either attacked or conquered in the name of Megatron. For the countless charges of murder of civilians, officers of their governments, for crimes against nature and humility, this council finds you guilty of high treason."
This was it...
He was a dead man...
"However..."
Maybe there was hope.
"Because you are 17, and will turn 18 in a few months, this court has found a different punishment for all of you juvenile Decepticons." Thundershock did not like the sound of that. "Once this sentencing is over, you will carry out the remainder of the sentencing serving under a California ship under our choosing. You will serve this ship like a good soldier that you were under Megatron's command. Your record of being a Decepticon will be hidden from the crew, but the captain will know about your history, just her. If you serve as the captain and protect the ship you're sentencing will be reduced. But if you show promising behavior and a passion to redeem yourself, we will drop the charges against you and you can live a peaceful life." He then adds, "But if you return to your Decepticon ways - You will spend the rest of your life in prison without the possibility of parole. Do you accept these terms, Decepticon?"
What choice did he have?
It's either spending time with the enemy - or dying in a prison.
"I accept the terms - I'll serve under Starfleet Command until you see fit or see that I have redeemed myself for my crimes."
The President nodded his head, "Very well then, when you are done serving 99% of your sentencing you will go to the ship Cerritos, and serve under Captain Carol Freeman, not as the Decepticon Thunderstrike-Megatron's most trusted soldier, loyalist, or his number 3, but as your real name." He motions a duo of scientists to bring in a machine for the process. "May whatever deity that is out there have mercy upon you, Brad Boimler. Former war criminal."
Years later...
On Qo'NoS...
"Yeah, I don't know, Beck." Ko'Lani sighs, hanging off the side of her bed. "I'm in the same boat as you - Starfleet isn't my thing." Ko'Lani. A Klingon-Vulcan hybrid, or 'Vulclingon' or 'Vulky' as her friend, Beckett Mariner, calls her. Long, bright red, wavy hair, big, green eyes. Relatively short but with a curvy, athletic build. Ridges on her forehead and nose, pointed ears, and eyebrows. Slightly enlarged canine teeth behind red-tinted lips. Currently dressed in an all-black outfit, reflecting her emotions about the current situation. "But didn't you just say that you have no choice anyway? That your mom's just gonna kick your ass on a shuttle here and that's gonna be the end of it?" Ko'Lani asks as she adds, "And after the Decepticon War, I'm not all too certain about joining Star Fleet - especially after what happened on Deep Space 9. I could always talk to Dad -"
Beckett interrupts her, "Lani, c'mon, your position on the Cerritos is already official. Not to mention you and I made plans already. Remember? We'd get some drinks and catch up like old times?"
"I don't see why we have to catch up." she scoffs. "We talk every day. Been doing this since we first became friends."
"Lani, please. I'm dying to see you again."
"Beck-"
"And there's someone else here who wants you here too." Mariner interrupts her one more time to get Lani interested in getting on board the Cerritos.
Lani falls silent... Smirking as she sits up slowly, looking over at Beck's face on her screen. "Who?"
"Here's your hint. He told me not to spoil the surprise - Whatever that means..." She leaves her seat to retrieve something from elsewhere. "Don't go anywhere. Just gotta get this thing..."
"Just tell me-"
"I promised-"
"Beck-"
A moment later, Beck reenters the frame, holding up a plush toy. A small eagle. Colored purple, wearing a little Starfleet shirt. Lani smirks and furrows her brows, tilting her head as she looks between Beck and the bird. "You look confused as hell, Lani." she chuckles.
"That's because I am."
"Oh. Well - Really?" she grimaces, tossing the toy aside. "They were sure you'd get the hint."
"I mean... It's vaguely familiar, but I can't remember how or why." Trying to figure out how is this eagle plushie even remotely relates to whoever it is that's excited to see her.
More silence... Beck looked around her own space, seeming to be thinking or simply just awkwardly avoiding eye contact for the next few minutes. "So, um... How long's it been since you've lived on Earth?"
"Since I was..." Lani trails off. Silence fills the room again. Lani's facial expression shifted in frustration. "Gah! I can't remember!" she huffs. "Well over seven years - At the very least."
"And uh, how old were you when you met your best friend there?" Continuing the conversation.
"Best frie - Oh - Yeah - Brad Boimler. Boimsy." a slight smile crosses her lips. "We first met when we were... nine or ten."
"Didn't you and his date at one point..?"
"Yeah." her voice shudders a bit as she tucks a bright red wave behind her ear. "We started dating at thirteen."
"I still can't believe that." Beck teases. "You dated Boimler. For real. Out of all the guys out there?"
"He was a sweetheart, okay?" Ko'Lani's cheek flushes a deep pink. "And he was cute."
"Still, you could've done so much better - Even back then."
"No. Not really."
"Are you kidding? I've seen pictures of when you were little. Honey, you were precious."
"Look, I just- I - I loved Brad. He was my only friend for a long time. And I loved him more than anything. I still do, if I'm gonna be honest."
"I mean, you couldn't lie even if you wanted to, Ms. Half-Vulcan."
"Don't remind me," she grumbles under her breath.
Knock, knock
"Excuse me, Beck." Ko'Lani leaves her bed to answer the door. "Yes?" she opens it.
"It is time for you to go, Ko'Lani. Your mother is already waiting outside, ready to escort you to the shuttle." Her father speaks gently. Her father is Vulcan and where she gets her half-Vulcan side from.
"About that-" She catches movement in her peripheral. Looks over her shoulder to see Beck shaking her head as she stares down. "I... I need to change my clothes first. And double-check my bag."
"You may do so. Quickly. Once you are finished, join your mother outside immediately." her father pecks her head. "You will do amazing things, Ko'Lani. We all know you will."
With that, her father leaves and Beckett lets out a loud, whooping cheer as soon as the door is closed. Lani simply laughs quietly and goes to pack her she's on the shuttle, and just before it's docked, she takes out her pad. Turns it on and scrolls through her messages. At first, to see if any of her family members sent well wishes and safe travels, or whatnot. But something else takes over her brain. Hesitantly opening her inbox, specifically for messages from Brad. The conversation between herself and Beck earlier had given her such an urge.
Due to the pain of being separated, knowing how much more she'd miss him if they kept contact, she hid or froze or blocked his contact information and the notifications. Scrolling through. Her eyes are wide and brimming with tears as she sees it. He's messaged her every single day since they were last together. Even after she responded once, explaining why she won't be talking to him anymore. Still, he continued to do so. Along with such sweet, adorable, daily messages, some pictures as well. There were some where Brad was in a strange background and it seemed as though he was wearing something different from his normal wear.
As she was scrolling she came across the most recent has been taken and sent earlier today. A picture of what appears to be a shuttle bay on the 'Cerritos', with the message 'Just heard the news! Can't wait!' Brad, having his back turned from the camera with his strikes a pose as he points to the sign 'Cerritos'. A couple of the other images that followed suit were of Brad nearly getting killed by either The Gorn, human-sized insects from the planet Kendakthar, robots, the Tezns, and Rogue Romulans as well.
"Ensign Ko'Lani," Someone calls her, "Up and at 'em, Lower Decks." She does as ordered, tucking the pad away, unlocking the safety harness, grabbing her bag, and exiting the shuttle.
Turning and looking around, trying to find the exact location from the picture. Or perhaps a tall, Human, man with a head of beautiful, purple hair. However, after moments of searching, she admits defeat. Confirming her arrival and receiving assignments, shaking the emotional pain and strain away. Lost in thought as she moves about.
*FUMP*
She stumbles backward after walking into a pillar, unexpectedly caught by someone suddenly. Opening her eyes and looking up "B-Boimsy?" she smiles. He smiles back, helping return her to her feet, she whips around and faces him, "You're here, and different too?" she beams in excitement and confusion as well.
Brad Boimler, the dork who was her best friend on Earth and who became her boyfriend, that shy and nervous rule-following boy scout was now different. For one thing, his purple-colored eyes were now orange color eyes. Some parts of his face had scars going across and over his face. He even had a scar just above his right eye. He also seemed to be muscular as well. Not massive muscular but average muscular at most. She noticed a hollow badge over his right arm, shes seen them worn by veterans before but she would have never guessed that Brad would wear one or that he was a veteran. He was always that peace-loving guy who would rather get beat up than fight back. "Is that all you have to say to me?" he jokes, taking her hands in his, happy to see his long-lost love. "No 'hey' or 'I missed you' or- - -"
She wastes no time at all, raising to her tiptoes and pressing her lips against his briefly. "It's been a while. Give me a break, Brad." she scoffs playfully. His cheeks turn red as he's stood there, seemingly frozen in place with a goofy grin on his face. "Boimsy." Unresponsive. "Boimsy..?" Still unresponsive. But she still takes his hand and walks along with him, wanting to find a more private place to talk.
"You're even prettier than I remember." he breaks his silence after a minute or two.
"Gah, you're such a dork." Despite looking rugged, he was still that adorable dork who she fell in love with.
"Hey, I'm not just any dork. I'm your dork." She makes a strange, soft noise under her breath in response as her cheeks turn pink. "You know you love me."
"Do I? Do I?"
"I mean, you kissed me-"
"'Cause I knew you weren't gonna make the first move."
"I wanted to talk to you a bit before - Didn't wanna lay all my love on your sight."
*beep beep*
She takes her padd out, answering the video transmission mindlessly.
"Ensign Lani here."
"You seriously just walked right by me - How could you?" Beck scoffs playfully.
"Sorry. My head is, elsewhere at the moment." she glances at Beck onscreen. "But if you wanted to talk, you could've just walked a bit faster."
"Or you could slow down!" She turns off the pad and stops in her tracks, slipping it back into her bag as she releases Brad's hand and faces the opposite direction.
Beckett runs up to her, a big, bright smile on her face, "We're never going this long without seeing each other in person ever again." She laughs, pulling her into a tight hug. "I've missed you so much, Lani."
"I missed you too, Beck." she giggles, hugging back. "Feels like forever."
"I was considering oust running up and jumping on your back before this but-"
"I would've put you in Med Bay so damn fast."
"Exactly."
"You're a tough woman. Wouldn't be in there very long at all anyway." Brad gets a silent alert on his pad and sees that it's an assignment for him along with ten others, which includes him, Beckett, and Ko'Loni working under the same assignment but in different areas.
"Hey, the more scars, the better. You'd be doing me a favor." She draws back to look her in the eyes. "Although Boimler here has the most scars than me so,"
"In that case, I've done you well over a hundred favors since we've known each other." She narrows her eyes, smiling.
Brad chuckles and says, "Alright you too, enough of the flirting you two. You two can catch up on how you two were the best back when you two were a couple on a different day or time, right now we have an assignment." His saying this sort of shocked them both. Beckett and Ko'Lani dated a bit back in the day during the Decepticon Party conquest and attacks but, after some fear and uncertainty along with some other stuff, they broke up. Ko'Lani planned on telling Boimler that she was Bisexual with her and Beckett flirting in front of him to tell him but it seems as though he knows.
Beckett dumbfounded asks, "Wait you knew- - -"
"That you two used to date and broke up and Lani is bisexual?" Telling them that he knows. "Yeah, I've known for a long time, that you're not that great at secret keeping. Plus I have a friend on DS9 who told me about how you two used to date, and now we're even, especially after I helped him prove his father was cheating on his wife. You," he looks over at Lani and says, "don't need to worry about me disapproving or being mad or anything because you're bi, okay? We broke up and if you found someone who could fill in the void who was either a man or woman that's okay with me. Besides, I sort of rolled that way before." He says last as he brings along a couple of contains with him and them as they go to where their assignment needs them to be.
Lani confused asks, "Wait, rolled that way?"
Boimler admits, "I sort of experimented a little here and there with guys after we broke up. Although at the time I wouldn't call what happened love or anything it was more like a one-night stand." Beckett was about to say something, "Okay it wasn't a one-night stand it was a date rape." The two looked at him shocked, "I'm pretty sure that I was raped," either two tried to speak up with shocked faces, "Or maybe I was the rapist?" Still shocked, "I'm pretty sure he was a prostitute, you know what prostitute is too nice of a word, when I woke up I found myself balls deep in some guy and some guy had his hand ass deep in me. I have hemroids for a whole week after that. And oh my god that dead pig too, I'm pretty sure what we-or-I did to that pig was a war crime." He sees that they've arrived at the assignment location, "Oh we're here. But basically, "I'm okay with you being bisexual okay, there's nothing to be ashamed about or be worried about me okay?" He doesn't get a response. "Lani, Marriner?" He turns around to see the girls looking at him with shocked faces.
Lani then gets a beeped on her pad, with a shocked face she looks at her pad and says, "R-Ransom," she stutters, "Needs me to head to the captain's office for something." She turns to Beckett, "I'll see you later, and Brad," She turns to Brad the possible gay rapist, "I need to talk to you about something later, okay?"
"Sure," Boimler says as he smirks as she runs off. He looks over at Beckett and still seeing her shocked looks at him, "What?"
Beckett doesn't say anything until finally, "So you knew me and Lani used to date?" Boimler nods his head, "Why didn't you say anything?"
Boimler tells her, "Because since you didn't tell me either of you dated I figured that either you or her were going to tell me on your terms. I didn't want her to feel that if I knew that it meant anything bad or worse she wanted to tell me she was bisexual on her terms then, it was okay, with that flirting you two did I figured it was her way of telling me she was bi, and I was okay with her telling me she was bi and in her way too. I love her just as you did and I didn't want to hurt her with a worse response so, I shotgun it and said that I knew she was bi in the best way that didn't show that I was against her. I love her Mariner, and if she was sad and depressed during those years were apart and she found happiness with you then I'm all for it."
Beckett then asks, "That story of you experimenting was a trick or a lie right?"
Boimler shakes his head, "No, that actually happened, I was drugged and probably raped, but what I didn't add in was the fact that when I woke up I was surrounded by both men and women, and painted on my head was 'God of Party and Sex'." Boimler smiles as he remembers back during those questionable times, "Ah good times. Maybe." He and Beckett then get to work.
With Ko'Lani...
She briskly walks up to the doors, adjusting her uniform before pressing the button. "Come in." the Captain speaks from within. She enters, standing before the desk-
"Ensign Ko'Lani, here as requested, Captain Freeman."
"You're here. Very good. Please, sit." She gestures at one of the seats across from her, she takes it. "There's something I'd like to discuss with you. A... slight change of plans and orders while you're aboard."
"Captain..?" she raises an eyebrow as she sits down.
"I'm well aware of your relationship with Beckett, Ko'Lani. More than that, I've come to realize and understand that you're a positive influence on her one of the few people she'll listen to." Knowing her previous relationship with Beckett from the past.
"That was... a result from our previous relationship, Captain... I do not believe I still have the same effects on her as I used to."
"Firstly, Ko'Lani, Honey, there's no need to be ashamed or feel the need to hide the truth about what's happened between you and Beckett. Because, trust me, she made it obvious for the both of you."
"I am not necessarily ashamed of such reality. Merely being cautious as, sadly, there are parts of the universe that do not, tolerate or accept people like Beckett and me for our preference in partners."
"Well, the Cerritos isn't part of that half of the universe. You're safe here. As are all others within your category."
"Understood, Captain."
"Good. Now, why I called you here..." She sets her padd down and looks at her. To her surprise, she noticed that it was just Ko'Lani in the room. It almost looked like she was expecting another person in the room beside them. "Wait. Where's Boimler?"
"Pardon?"
"Your friend. With the purple hair has scars on his face?"
"I know, ma'am on who you mean, I just, uh, I was confused as to why you brought his name up just now?" She was confused as to why Captain Freeman was expecting or surprised to see that Boimler wasn't in the room with her at all.
"I told Ransom to get both of you in here," she cuts herself off, tapping her com badge, "Ensign Boimler to the Bridge immediately."
"May I ask why-"
"You'll find out once he gets here."
"But that might take-"
"Give it, a minute and thirty seconds."
"But he-"
"Trust me." she chuckles.
The room falls silent. Awkward silent. The worst kind of silence. Both mentally counting the seconds. Ko'Lani was wondering why Freeman needed Boimler with her in her office. And, as Captain Freeman predicted, Brad enters the room exactly on the minute thirty mark.
"Told you." she snickers, glancing at Ko'Lani.
"Captain." he greets her. "Ko'Lani." he looks at her, smiling.
"Hi again," Ko'Lani says quietly, cheeks going pink.
"Take a seat, Ensign." Captain Freeman gestures at the seat beside Ko'Lani.
He does as asked, however, he finds himself staring at Ko'Lani, seeming to zone out immediately.
"I've called you both here because you have one thing in common," The Captain stops herself, thinking for a minute... "Okay, a few things in common, actually, but you get what I mean. And one of the things you have in common is a healthy relationship with Ensign Mariner. That being said, I'm trusting both of you with a very important task."
"Yes, Captain?" Ko'Lani tilts her head, curious.
"You're to keep a very, very close eye on her. If she does anything out of line, you're to report it to me immediately. No exceptions. Any questions?"
"None from me." Ko'Lani answers.
"And you?" she looks at Brad.
He asks "When you mean anything out of line does that include the drinking, the total disregard of her morality or other people's lives, or her constant need to want to throw me out of my comfort zone even though I'm still trying to make my comfort zone?" He then lists, "Like the time she accidentally stranded me on a moon base because she was quote 'tripping balls' or that time that she disobeyed a direct order from a superior when we were on planet side and were under heavy fire and she had to fight back even though we weren't in any position or had the firepower to fight back? That kind of anything?"
"Anything."
"Now, any objection-"
"Yes, Captain there is-" he was abou to say a bit. But was cut off.
"Your objections don't matter anyway. These are direct orders from your Captain, not an optional task. As you were. Dismissed. Both of you."
The two Ensigns leave their seats, salute, walking out the door, through the hallway, and into the turbo lift. "You gotta go anywhere specific?" Boimler asks her.
"I'm not sure," she responds.
"You still haven't found your quarters yet," he smirks, taking notice of the bag strapped onto her. "Let's fix that real quick."
"Oh - Um - This is... Wow." she grimaces, as they walk around through the ensign barracks. "No privacy, huh?"
"Yeah, I know." he sighs. "It sucks. But it should give us more motivation to get promoted, yeah?"
"Definitely... I already hate this," she mutters softly.
Boimler chuckles and scoffs a bit and says, "I'm used to this crap before I came onboard the ship so it doesn't bother me a bit." Lani taking note of this. "I mean, it's not all horrible, is it?" He gives a hopeful smile. "That old fear you had when we were younger - Being alone in the middle of the night - That'll never happen here."
"Sure as hell hope so." she chuckles.
"I'll make sure it won't - Besides, people adapt and change. We all, sigh, had to change who we are inside and outside." He says as he grabs his armband on his right arm and grips his arm tightly. The memories of the war flashed back to him. Regrets and horror he made during the war. To Lani, when he gripped his right arm with his armband, she thought that he was going through emotions he felt during the war - she thinks that he was caught in the crossfire between Star Fleet and The Decepticon Party at one point and fought back. She comforts him as she rests her left arm on his right shoulder. Snapping back into reality instead of his memories, Boimler coughs as he moves forward, "There's a bunk across from mine that nobody's taken. All yours if you want it, and in my direct line of sight."
"Something tells me I can't trust you with such an advantage." She narrows her eyes, playfully glaring. "Also, that'd be kinda creepy - You being able to watch me while I sleep."
"I used to do it all the time way back when. What's the problem now?" He snickers.
"It's... It's been a very long time, Boimsy... And I just need time to adjust, y'know." She extends her hand and gently cups his cheek. "You're still a dopey, dorky, puppy-eyed sweetheart - But I'll need time before we get back to where we once were. Okay?"
"Yeah. Of course." His smile falters a bit. He sighs, "Out of everyone on this ship, I know what it's like to have to adjust to everything when everything you were before was different than things are now." He touches one of the scars on his face, a sort of sign that things have changed a lot between them since they last met years ago.
She moves in close, wrapping both arms around him, "I still love you, Brad... Please don't misunderstand," she whispers.
"It's okay, we all needed time to adjust to everything. I understand." he hugs back, pecking her head. "Just tell me when you're ready. Believe me, I'll be waiting. And while I'm waiting I'll be by your side if you ever need me, okay?" As he looks into her eyes, guilt and regret are all that he sees back. He feels the urge to tell her, "Lani, I-I-I have something to tell you - - About the war."
Lani knew where this was headed, in a misunderstanding sort of way. "Brad, you don't need to tell me if you're not ready to tell me."
Boimler pushes himself away as he leans and grabs ahold of the wall railings, "You don't understand. The war made me into someone I wasn't supposed to be. It made me," Boimler looks up to see a mental project of himself as Thunderstrike. His armor, clothes, pants, boots, helmet, and blaster were covered in blood and his Decepticon badge was clean of blood. "Into someone you should hate."
Lani, trying to be there for him and wanting to help him as well, "Boimler it wasn't your fault."
Before Boimler could say anything, his com badge spoke with Ransom on the other line, "- - Ransom to Ensign Boimler, you are needed in the ready room- -."
He looks back at Lani with guilty eyes that he has to leave her, duty calls, "I'll be there soon Commander." He apologizes to Lani, "I'm sorry but, I'm needed." He then walks towards the ready room leaving Lani in the bonks by herself. Which hurts him in some but many ways.
Much later...
"I can't believe I still have this." Ko'Lani gawks. "Thought I lost it during the move." The object in question is an Orion necklace Brad gave her for her sixteenth birthday. A circular, silver-colored, metal slip with shiny, red gems embedded.
He comes around the corner and walks over to her and sees the necklace. Memories of their time together flooded into him. He asks as he rests against the side of her side of the wall, "Have you worn it anytime after we... y'know... split?"
"No... I couldn't bring myself to do it. I already missed you too much - I was hurting too much." She's curled up on his bunk while he's standing in front of her, watching her dig through her bag for something.
"Well... Seeing as we're together again, it's okay to wear it, yeah?"
"It's too pretty to wear every day, Boimsy." Trying to find a reason to not wear it, not because she didn't like it or anything, but for another reason.
"Coming from a girl who wears high heels daily," He teases.
"Only because I'm short, so shut up," she scoffs playfully.
"C'mon, put it on. I've only seen you wear it, like, 4 times." Remembering how many times exactly she has worn that necklace of hers.
"I'm not sure how to put it on. It's been a while."
"Let me help." he extends his hand. She hands him the necklace, sets aside her bag, and repositions herself, sitting on her knees and leaning forward a bit. He looks the necklace over for a minute. Locating the lock and opening it. Reaching around her, being extremely cautious not to get any of her hair caught in the lock. "Gimme a second real quick... Almost got it." He chuckles.
"I'm not going anywhere, don't worry." He successfully gets the necklace on, going to withdraw himself until he realizes she's keeping him right where he is. Looking each other in the eyes. "Boimsy?"
"Yeah?"
"If you have any problems with the fact that Beck and I- -" For most of the day, she wasn't convinced that Boimler was okay with her dating Beckett after they broke up. She thinks that he isn't okay with her dating another woman. Even though he said that he was okay with the two of them having a past relationship together, she had this weird gut feeling that he wasn't okay with her sexuality.
"The only issue I have is Beckett." He jokes trying to put her thoughts and worries at ease. "Out of all the women you could've been with, you chose her?"
"Wow. She said the same to me about you, 'Out of all the men out there, you chose him'?" She quoted Mariner and even tried to sound like her as well.
"But, no, seriously, I don't have any problems with your preference in partners, okay? I don't love you any less or see you any differently."
"It was mainly shock back there, huh?"
"Shock? It was like standing in the middle of a damn lightning storm." He chuckles a bit.
"Oh, shut it," she punches him playfully.
He then adds, "Don't forget I experimented with guys as well, although I was drugged at the time so I don't know what it was like at the time."
She then asks as their faces grow closer and their breaths begin to soften and hitch a little, "Be honest with me, that whole 'experimental-possible-date-rape-thing' that was just something you made up to make me feel better right?" She was hoping that the story Brad made was a made-up story so he could tell her that he was okay with her being bisexual.
Brad answers, "Oh it was true. I found out that I had enough drugs in my system at the time to make my story believable. To this day I have no idea if I was the raped victim. Or the rapist. All I know is that when I woke up I was balls deep in someone, someone was ass deep in me, and I had a tattoo on my chest that says 'God of Party and Sex'."
Lani tries to hold in a laugh, "There is no way that's- -" She was stopped mid-sentence when Boimler rips open the front portion of his uniform to reveal a fading ink tattoo that says 'God of Party and Sex', with scars littering over and around the tattoo. "Oh wow," she was shocked at his tattoo. But also, this muscular torso and his scars as well. Lani almost felt herself drooling a bit at the sight of Boimler's muscles a bit. She had a thing for scared muscular guys or women. And Boimler hits all the marks, being her dorky boyfriend and a muscle man with scars on him. She was snapped back into reality when she saw the scars and realized that he must've gotten these scars from fighting the Decepticon Party. She feels his body.
Realizing what she is doing, she looks back up to Boimler and sees his blushed face. She blushes as well and their faces begin to move closer to each other, almost as if they were prepared to kiss one another. Until...
"I'm back and I brought friends!" Beckett shouts, entering the room with Tendi and Rutherford behind her.
Thrown off by the sudden noise, Ko'Lani flinches- Brad goes to catch her, but they both end up falling to the floor. Dazed from the fall, but both are still aware enough to realize their current position. Extremely red in the face, stupid smiles as they look at one another.
"Whoa- Guys, get a room!" Beckett teases. The two soon get back on their feet which shows Beckett, D'Vana, and Sam his tattoo. "Damn Boims," she comments on his body and his tattoo.
Tendi reads the tattoo out loud, "'God of Party and Sex'? When did you get this?"
Boimler answers but he shortens the story, "I got this when I accidentally drank a glass that was roofied and then I woke up with me being balls deep into someone and someone had their hand up my ass. And when I woke up, I found this tattoo and another tattoo. I'm pretty sure that I was either raped or if I was the rappist, who could say?" Tendi looked at Boimler in shock.
Sam asks, disregarding that last part, "What other tattoo?"
Boimler pulls his pants down to his pubis to show a tattoo that was made out of light which blinded his friends and his possible girlfriend. He tells them, "Apparently it's the old Taco Bell slogan." The Taco Bell slogan goes 'Viva Mas'.

In the captain's quarters, Captain Freeman was given a brand new set of Federation orders for a Second Contact mission on Mixtus III. The Captain accepts the mission of course. However, unknown to anyone, an old friend of Boimler back in his Decepticon days was hiding out on Mixtus III. This Decepticon name was a Beastial Sharp Claw - a Decepticon infiltrator and double agent for the Decepticons.
She wasn't waiting for Boimler or anything, she was hiding out on the planet until she could get herself a new identity.
Unknown to her - The traitor Brad Boimler would be on the planet in a matter of hours.
So what is she to do while she waits? Oh, look! I ain't spider-cow - She'll kill it and kill the farmer as well.
It's not like anyone important from her past is coming over - Right?
...
With The Cerritos.
Everything went, according to [Cannon, however, there was a slight hiccup with everything. Instead of the rage virus, Ransom wasn't infected.
After arrival and transport, Mariner went off on her own and drove an off-roader to a farm. Ko'Lani and Boimler were assigned to go on the away mission and to keep an eye on Mariner as well. So they followed her.
When they arrived at wherever Mairner was going, they saw the horror.
A scorched and destroyed farm. The cattle were all dead - slaughtered. The farmer, his family, and anyone else who happened to be nearby at the time - were butchered, with them hanging on noses and their corpses dangling in the air.
Mariner goes down on her knees in horror, Ko'Lani rushes to her side as Mariner crises. Mariner was there for First Contact with Mixtus III, she knew and met the farmer around here at the time. He was a good decent man - she considered the farmer a best man.
While Ko'Lani consoled Mariner, Boimler was examining the area, after some time, he said to the girls, "We need to get back to the ship, Captain Freeman- - ACK!" Boimler was stopped mid-sentence when a purple energy bolt shot him in his right pelvis. The bolt shot him back a few feet back and causing him to go down on one knee.
"Boimsy!" Ko'Lani shouted in shock as she rushed to his aid. She was stopped when a figure jumped down from the sky, appeared behind her, scratched her back, and threw her to a nearby tree. Mariner tries to fight back, but she is taken down easily despite her years of training. Ko'Lani got up slightly, her back was against the tree, and was injured, "Who the hell are... You...?" She froze in mid-sentence at the perpetrator.
The perpetrator was female - She looked like a Caitian like a Doctor, but she wasn't like her. Her fur was the darkest of the color red, her eyes were purple, and her regular fingernails seemed to have been replaced by metal nails. Her clothes seemed to be matching of a dystopian rebel fighter with a leather jacket. On her cheek, was an insignia that was easy to see clearly in the light of the day. It was the insignia of The Decepticon Party.
The female smiles and says, "You, what? Here let me finish that sentence, 'AAAHHH! Decepticon!' Hows that," she then turns towards Boimler and narrows her glaring eyes at him, "And you - You're going to pay." She marches over to Boimler, with him slightly on the ground, putting pressure on his wound, and kicks him down to the floor. "You dare wear that uniform after everything you have done!" She kicks him again this time where his wound rests.
Lani gets up and says, "Leave him alone!" She continues kicking and stomping on Boimler, "You have no right to kill him or any of us! The war is over!"
The Decepticon - Sharp Claw - says as she looks back at Ko'Lani, "You Starfleet idiots are all the same - You think that just because a few dozen Decepticon traitors turned themselves in and our leader is dead that means that the war is over - it's not! As long as the Decepticons live on - As long as the memory of Megatron is remembered, the war is never over." She tells Ko'Lani but then looks back at Boimler and says, "Ain't that right, traitor?" She kicks him in the face blood starts dripping from his face.
Confused, Mariner asks, "Traitor? What are you talking about? Boimler isn't a Decepticon."
Sharp Claw looks back at Boimler and asks, "They don't know, do they?" He looks away from the three women in front of him. "He - He was one of the greatest Decepticons that have ever lived. He was Megatron's generals!" Shocking and rocking their minds. She pulls up a holo image of 17-year-old Brad Boimler, standing shoulder to shoulder with Starscream, Sound Wave, Shock Wave, and Over Load. Megatron standing in the middle of his four main generals of the Decepticon Party. She turns back to Boimler and starts monologing, "You were Thunderstrike! The most feared and respected Decepticon of Megatron's generals! You followed him to hell, you claimed worlds and lives in the name of Megatron. And yet here you are, wearing the clothes and badge of our enemy. Do you honestly think that wearing that badge will make you one of them?" She then pulls out her blaster and aims her blaster directly at his head. "You'll forever be a Decepticon - A killer, a liar, and a traitor. Die."
Before could pull the trigger, she felt her back being pushed back by something behind her.
She turns around to see Ko'Lani and Mariner pulling out their phasers to stop or killer. She smiles wickedly. Their phasers were set to kill - usually, when that happens, the person they shot at would vaporize into nothing. But her - nothing.
"What the % # is happening? Why won't you die?!"
Sharp Claw chuckles and says, "Decepticon clothing - not just great for tactical attacks but it also has a lining and is made from a rare material that is impossible for anyone or Starfleet or anyone else to shoot through with their phasers. The only thing that can kill me now is with a Decepticon blaster which you don't have." She then aims her blaster at them and fires. They dodged her energy bolts but, they were soon pinned down as they took cover behind a tree. But the tree was being torn through shreds. "There's nothing you Starfleet brats can do against the might of the superiority of the Decepticon- - - ACK?!"
The blaster firing stopped...
The two turn around and over the tree to see, Boimler who mustered up whatever strength he had left and then came up behind Sharp Claw, actually plunged his red glowing electric hand into her chest! With blood dripping from the hole, and his hand.
Boimler says a quip, "I'll give you some shocking information too!" Just then, his hand lets out an electric blast that develops around Sharp Claw and explodes her. Her muscles, blood, and organs were splattered all around the area and even splashed onto Mariner and Ko'Lani. All that was left was her skeleton, and that fell off of Boimler's hand. (A/N: I got this idea from The Boys) Boimler then collapses on his back from the still burning pain from the bolt Sharp Claw nailed him with.
Ko'Lani rushes towards Boimler, "Boimsy!" Worried for him. She rushed towards and checked on him. "Brad, are, are you okay?"
Boimler answers as Beckett is staring at the image of Boimler standing beside Megatron in the war, "Yeah, I'm alright. That's another thing; Us Decepticons, we're too stubborn to die."
Ko'Lani was glad to hear that he was alright but...
She needed to know, "Brad, are, or were you, a Decepticon?"
Boimler nods his head, shocking Ko'Lani, "I have a long discussion for you about that."
To be continued...
A/N: I want to say a little something first, that whole date-rape bit I did for most of this chapter, I want to apologize firsthand for that. When I added that in, I wasn't making fun or making jokes about being drugged and then finding out that you were raped. I never meant to make it funny I never meant to offend anyone at all. It was a bit idea that I saw from an adult show, I never meant for it to offend or hurt anyone, I was just putting my spin on it.
So again, I never meant to make it seem that I was making fun of being raped. I am sincerely sorry about that.
And another thing, I want it on record that says that I support the LGBTQ community. I admire the community for having the strength and resistance to be able to be proud of who they are despite being in a world that doesn't tolerate their preferences in partners, I'm okay if my family members or friends were gay, lesbian, asexual, pansexual, bisexual, I don't care who they prefer, as long as they found love in that person is all that matters with me. When I was making this, where Brad was telling Ko'Lani that he was okay with her being bisexual, that was a part of me speaking as well.
I don't care if a person prefers a man or a woman as a partner. All that matters to me is as long as both parties bring happiness, love, joy, and kindness to said person. It's all that matters to me.
Hell, my best friend asked me to help him propose to this guy he's dating and now I'm the best man at their wedding in three months. Cool right?
I want to wish everybody a great New Year, and I hope you are all staying safe, with recent events on the news, we should all be safe.
