(Part 5 - Finale)

"Brother, may I please see the paper you found outside, not far from the flying drone?"

He handed her the paper. It was a sloppy handwritten note. Instructions on where to contact

the Boy (Beaufort) and about how to scare Edith. Beaufort's cell number was also written on it!

Edith: "Oh my... I recognize the handwriting as that of my boyfriend... Bill Weatherspoon. We've

been dating several months. He even proposed marriage before my trip to come and visit you. Yes!"

Reggie to Absinthe and Usbegaugh: "See what I mean. The Boy and that man Bill were in cahoots. Aye!"

The Boy had been walking outside. His mother called him in. "Beaufort, may I see your cell phone, please?"

"Why? I haven't done anything wrong... No, Mum!" he protested. But it was all just a ruse on his part. Aye!

The very next day:

"Thank-You! Brother. You've been a bigger help than you'll ever know. Come, Beaufort, the taxi is waiting."

Before he was placed in his carrier: "Well, good-bye cousin Abbie. I hope my Mistress and I can visit again."

"Yes... It was very interesting to have you all here... Much fun indeed!" meowed Absinthe to Reggie the cat.

"Well, have a nice trip Home, Reggie!" woofed Usbegaugh the Great Dane. "Thanks, Mate! Nice to know you,"

Reggie replied. Being a black cat there weren't many dogs he liked, but he found Usbegaugh a welcome friend.

Edith would watch the Boy more carefully from now on. She of course broke it off with that blasted bloke Bill.

No formal charges were brought immediately, though she considered it. Several months later she did meet a

very congenial and genuinely good and honest man. A blacksmith with a heart of gold. Yes, folks, there still

are a few of those type of craftsmen around in the World. We need our craftsmen and women. We surely do!

A fast year later... Beaufort was now in therapy. And Edith would marry her new man, the blacksmith.

Her brother The Master and wife Pamela hosted the wedding in their Big Back Yard. Reggie the black cat

and Usbegaugh the Great Dane wore black-tie collar attire. But The Master's wife went extra on 'Abbie'.

"I look simply silly in this daft, frilly dress. Just dreadful!" Meowed by Absinthe. But Reggie didn't

mind at all nor did Usbegaugh. In fact, they had a little laugh or two, but much later on. Aye!

It was a splendid Big Wedding and reception. The wine and champagne flowed, and more.

Edith's new husband the blacksmith was so grateful, he offered to build new wrought iron

entry gateway doors for The Master's main home driveway. A cat on one gate door.

A dog on the other...

About 6 months later on... "Seems we've been immortalized?"

This from Usbegaugh. "Yes, Friend. We have!" the reply from Absinthe.

"Well, I'm all for it!" woofed the Dog. "Yes. Me too!" meowed the spoiled Cat.
