In the Encanto...
Bruno Madrigal, the most accurate seer since the villagers startle at his visions. Julieta had gone off to the jungle to find her daughter, but she was nowhere to be found, not even a trace. The only comfort was the lack of blood, meaning she was not mauled to death by something.
Bruno was now in his vision cave, trying to see what was happening, it took him ten years of pleading from his sister to look into the future for any sign of Mirabel.
But what he saw was not what he had been expecting at all.
Mirabel and a boy, a year older than her, were in a bizarre underground world with a blue water balloon-like creature leading them. Then, big purple monsters with tenacles surround them and were getting ready to attack them.
"Dios mio!" Bruno exclaimed as he ran out of his cave with the vision tablet in his hands.
"Bruno, did you see anything?" Julieta hopefully asked.
"Mirabel is safe, but more than safe. I think Mama really, really screwed up," Bruno said as he showed Julieta the tablet.
"Dios mio, this can't be why she didn't get a gift, it's not!" Julieta replied.
"These three people, a family of farmers, are with her. They seem nice, but she and this boy who seems a year older than her are gonna be attacked by these monsters in the vision," Bruno explained.
"What is going on? Bruno, did you have the vision?" Alma asked and Bruno gave her the vision and gasped as she nearly dropped it. "Dios mio, what have I done?"
"Dios shouldn't be meant for this to happen, Mirabel and this boy are gonna be attacked by these monsters, this family of farmers must've cared for her," Bruno explained.
...
Mirabel and Ethan stand on top of a turbine of the venture, looking further to where Searcher and Legend had land as Ethan said, "Okay, they're okay, and we're okay."
They slide off the turbine and walk to the others as Callisto stood in the ramp of the venture.
"Okay, everyone, we are clearly in uncharted territory. I know you're all feeling scared, I am too, but the mission remains the same, we're here to save pando, okay? But before we can do that, we need to get our ship back into the air," Callisto explained.
"What about my dad? Shouldn't we be saving him first? He's a farmer, you can't just leave him out there," Ethan said.
Mirabel nodded and replied, "He has a point, there might be more monsters here to gobble him up."
Callisto walked to Mirabel and Ethan as she said, "No one's leaving anyone. Ethan, I know you're worried about your dad, but I've seen him out in the field firsthand, he knows how to survive. If we want to do the same, our best bet is to retrieve him by air, which means fixing this ship is the priority."
"But that's gonna take way too long!" Ethan replied.
Meridian walked to Ethan and said, "She's right, Ethan."
"What?" Ethan asked when he turned to his mother.
Meridian held up her hand and said, "No, I know, I know, but, babe, we have no idea what's out there. The venture is the safest option."
"But, Mom-"
Meridian cut off Ethan and asked, "Honey, why don't you and Mirabel hang out in the cockpit while I help them with repairs?"
Callisto walked to Ethan and said, "I promise you, Ethan, we're gonna save your dad."
Meridian and Callisto walk away from Ethan and Mirabel as Callisto said, "Thanks for the backup."
"I'm gonna hold you that promise," Meridian replied.
"You have your assignments, get moving," A woman commanded the people and they walk off as she turned to a black man with glasses. "Caspian, can you keep an eye on the kids?"
Caspian walked to Ethan and Mirabel as he said, "Come on, kids! We're gonna have the best time, you like board games right?"
Ethan and Mirabel ignore Caspian as they turn to see some skiffs and Ethan gets an idea.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Ethan asked.
Mirabel nodded and answered, "Si."
Ethan and Mirabel hop onto a skiff as Ethan started it and Mirabel asked, "You know how to drive this thing, right?"
"You insult me!" Ethan replied as he scoffed.
The skiff started moving and Ethan put it on max speed as it went too fast and Ethan was calling out, "Dad?! Dad?!"
Mirabel almost fell off the skiff as her glasses fly off her face and she grabbed them and put them back on.
"This is way faster than our tractor, I gotta get me one of these!" Ethan said.
Mirabek playfully scoffed and said, "Don't be ridiculous, you're the one who put this thing on max speed!"
"Guilty as charged!" Ethan replied.
They suddenly ride into a dark blue forest and they see some glittery starfish-like creatures swinging across the trees as if they were monkeys.
Ethan stopped the skiff as they go to a dead end and he and Mirabel stare at the view of the world.
"A vast, undiscovered wilderness filled with amazing creatures," Ethan said as he chuckled. "This is just like Primal Outpost!"
"I know, beautiful," Mirabel replied as she and Ethan lean in to kiss each other.
Their kiss was cut off as the ground started to move up and Mirabel and Ethan roll off the skiff and they grab onto the ledge.
Mirabel and Ethan suddenly fall off the flying creature, bounce off two purple plants, and land on the ground as it bounced them.
The ground creature flew away with the skiff still on top of it as Mirabel asked Ethan, "Are you okay?"
Ethan nodded and said, "Okay, this is nothing like Primal Outpost."
Mirabel and Ethan get up and they look forward to see a dark tunnel as Ethan looked at his Primal Outpost card and said, "Okay, we can do this, it's just a nightmare tunnel, let's just be brave."
"Okay, here goes nothing," Mirabel replied as she and Ethan take deep breaths.
They run through the tunnel as Ethan was screaming and Mirabel shushed him and said, "Quiet, we don't wanna wake up anything in here."
"Sorry," Ethan whispered as he and Mirabel continue walking through the tunnel and Ethan was talking to himself. "Oh, hey, Diazo, how was my weekend? Oh, what'd I do? Oh, yeah, me and my girlfriend just ran through a nightmare tunnel to rescue my dad, no big deal, yeah."
Mirabel and Ethan stop walking as they hear a chittering sound.
"What was that?" Mirabel asked.
Ethan shrugged as he called, "Hello?"
A blue creature crawled up Ethan's back like a spider as he and Mirabel turn to it as it popped up in front of them.
Ethan ran around as he screamed and Mirabel grabbed a stick and tried to whack it, but ended up hitting Ethan as she apologized multiple times.
Ethan grabbed the creature by its arms and slammed it into a rock.
The creature went down as it stuck to the rock like a pancake.
Mirabel dropped her stick and asked, "What is that?"
"I don't know, it's so weird, but kinda cool," Ethan replied.
The creature got up and swept himself as Ethan walked up to it and it crawled back.
"Hey, it's okay, we're friendly, I'm friendly, see? We're all friends," Ethan said as he reached his arm out to the creature to touch it.
The creature stuck its arm out to touch Ethan as well...and slapped him across his face.
"Ow!" Ethan exclaimed in pain as he touched his cheek.
The creature threatened Ethan as it squeaked and he said, "Okay, yeah, I guess I deserved that, I did splat you into a wall."
The creature started squeaked more as Ethan looked at Mirabel and asked, "What's it doing?"
"I think it's trying to tell us something," Mirabel replied.
The creature pulled out a neckerchief and showed it to them as Ethan said, "Hey, that's my dad's!"
Mirabel looked at the neckerchief and replied, "You're right."
She gave the neckerchief back to the creature as it wore it like a bandana and led Mirabel and Ethan out of the tunnel.
...
Another water balloon-like creature saw a turbine that was broken off the venture as it crawled to it in interest.
It touched the propeller as it moved and the creature exclaimed in fear as it ran from it and squeaked to something or someone.
Suddenly, two purple ball-like creatures roll to the turbine and take out their tentacles and one grabbed the turbine as the other one tried to grab it from it.
The creature ate the turbine with the propeller sticking out of the top of him as the other stuck one of its tentacles out to touch it, but the first one slapped it away.
The orange creature came back and squeaked at the creatures as they roll away and it follows them.
Mirabel and Ethan follow the blue creature as they look around the world in amazement as Ethan said, "This place is so crazy, who knew this was all down here? I mean, you knew this was down here, because you're from here, but it's like this on top, these colors are trippy."
Mirabel hugged a tree and replied, "Si, even the trees are cool."
Ethan also hugged the tree as it expanded like a breathing lung.
"Why is it doing that, Splat?" Mirabel asked the creature as she and Ethan think of an idea.
Ethan turned to the creature and asked, "Do you mind if me and my girlfriend call you "Splat"? We just came up with it, you just kinda give us splat vibes."
The creature, now known as "Splat", flatly fell down the steps as Ethan asked, "Are you offened? We can't tell."
"Let's just follow him," Mirabel said as she and Ethan hop down the steps with Splat.
Splat suddenly stopped Mirabel and Ethan as he squeaked them to stay as they look up to see a nest of the purple creatures.
"Woah, what is this thing?" Ethan asked.
Mirabel shrugged.
Splat crawled up the nest and squeaked at the creatures, informing them to eat Ethan and Mirabel, he was up to no good.
Splat then jumped down as he saw Mirabel and Ethan walk to some crates of pando pods.
Mirabel and Ethan collect the pods as Splat crawled to them and started squeaking at them.
"Yeah, we know, this pando fell off the venture and we don't waste the pods," Ethan said to Splat.
Mirabel nodded and replied, "Exactly."
Splat impatiently squeaked at them and grabbed Ethan and Mirabel's arms each as Ethan said, "Hold on, really quick, just let us grab the rest of these."
Splat's hands suddenly slip off Mirabel and Ethan's arms each as he touched one of the pods in Ethan's hand and got electrocuted.
Mirabel and Ethan turn to Splat as Mirabel gasped and Ethan exclaimed, "Splat!"
Ethan ran to Splat and whacked the pod off Splat's hand, revealing a gray burn mark from the electricution.
Splat held his hand and softly chittered in pain.
Ethan picked up Searcher's neckerchief and Mirabel poured some ointment on it as Ethan said, "Hey, it's okay, I can help you with that, let me see."
Mirabel and Ethan slowly walk to Splat as he moved back in pain.
"Hey, it's okay," Mirabel softly said as she petted Splat.
Ethan placed the soaked neckerchief on Splat's hand and wrapped it around like a bandage.
"There, good as new," Ethan said.
Splat looked up at Ethan and chittered, thanking him.
Mirabel and Ethan suddenly see the ball creatures drop down from their nest and roll to them.
"Are these friends of yours?" Ethan asked.
Splat squeaked at the creatures, commanding them to stop, but one pushed him aside.
"Um, hola, I'm Mirabel Madrigal, this is mi novio, Ethan Clade. We're looking for his padre and we'll be going now," Mirabel explained as she and Ethan try to run off, but more creatures appear and block their way as they surround them and spread out their tentacles, getting ready to attack them.
"We're dead," Ethan weakly said.
