Chapter 8: Mr. Freeze
Panic and screaming flooded the room making Bruce come out seeing what's going on…
The figure points its Rey gun and blasts ice beams…
Freezing some guests.
And security guards that tried to stop him.
Dick pulls Barbara down to hide under a table.
"No matter what happens, stay down!" Dick said.
Dick crawls out and calls Bruce on his wrist communicator.
"Bruce?" Dick asked.
"I see it." Dick's voice said.
"I'm messaging Alfred. Our suits are in the car." Bruce said.
"Meet you there." Dick said.
Bruce and Dick slip out as the figure finally steps out of the shadows.
It's Victor Fries but now he has become MR. FREEZE!
"Bring me Ferris Boyle. And no one will have to get hurt." Mr. Freeze said.
Outside Bruce and Dick slid down pipes to get to the first floor and met up where Alfred waited for them.
"Emergency Alfred." Bruce said.
"Yes sir." Alfred said.
Bruce and Dick hopped in the car to suit up.
Freeze storms his way in the room freezing everyone in his way.
Gordon searched hopelessly searched for his daughter…
"BARBARA?! BARBARA!" Gordon called his daughter.
Gordon was pulled from behind a hand covering his mouth and to his relief it was Barbara.
"Barbara honey thank God." Gordon said.
"Are you okay?" Barbara asked her father.
Soon enough Freeze finally finds Boyle.
"The cold dead eyes of vengeance are finally upon you Boyle." Mr. Freeze said.
"Who the hell are you?" Boyle asked.
"You don't remember me Ferris? 9 years ago you cut my funding when all I done was try to save my dying wife! And then YOU killed my wife!" Mr. Freeze said.
"Victor? But I thought you were-" Boyle said.
"Dead? No. Like I said on 85…Immortality." Mr. Freeze said.
Freeze aims Rey's gun at him ready to blast him…
Until glass shatters from above Freeze and the guests look up…
Batman and Robin arrive to save the day.
"Batman Robin!" The man said with a smile.
"It is Batman and Robin!" The woman said with a smile.
Batman and Robin.
Barbara and Gordon saw them on their way out.
"It's them." Barbara said with a smile.
"They'll stop this lunatic for good." Gordon said with a smile.
They made it out for Gordon to call in reinforcements as Freeze pointed his Freeze Rey at the Dynamic Duo.
"I have no quarrel with you two." Mr. Freeze said.
"Then you crashed the wrong party." Batman said.
"Since you have allied with Boyle you leave me no choice." Mr. Freeze said.
Freeze blasts them but Batman and Robin barely dodged it.
Robin launches a birderang at him but Freeze Freezes it.
Batman points his grapple gun but Freeze Freezes his arm to the wall.
"BATMAN!" Robin called.
Robin went to attend to his partner while Freeze grabs Boyle and lifts him on his shoulder.
"No! Put me down! Somebody do something for the love of God!" Boyle called.
Freeze walks out with Boyle after Robin thawls Batman free and they chase after him.
They saw Freeze forcing Boyle into a van and he turns to them with his glowing red eyes.
"Stay out of this you fools!" Mr. Freeze said.
"Hey pal I don't know if you heard but we're the good guys we're supposed to catch the bad guys. Taking a hostage makes you a bad guy." Robin said.
"My boy, good or bad, has no meaning to those with nothing to lose." Mr. Freeze said.
"I'll give you one chance to let him go." Batman said.
"Your threats are meaningless to me Batman. I am a man who has already lost everything!" Mr. Freeze said.
He blasts the Freeze ray again forcing the Dynamic Duo back in the building.
Freeze then blasts the entrance to seal them in and Freeze turns to Boyle tied in the back of the van.
"Now your suffering begins." Mr. Freeze said.
He slams the side door shut and Freeze gets in the driver's seat, turns the ignition and drives off.
"He's getting away!" Robin said.
"No he's not. We just need-" Batman said.
Suddenly the ice blows open Batman and Robin ducked the ice was blown open…
…by the mysterious female bat figure…
