Happy holidays! I know this isn't the update people wanted but its partly done for awhile so I wanted to post this for the holidays. I know not a lot of people will read it but an update is an update. I did rush it abit but have no fear. Star Rail is a game I am pretty fond of even if I am not the best person when it comes to lore in general.
Chapter 3 Naruto need a little Help
As Stelle and March 7th dragged Naruto behind the group another two people walked out of the portal. A young-looking dragon like girl and a beautiful young woman with very long brown red hair.
"Bailu! Lingsha! Please give Naruto first Aid right away! We will protect you while you heal him!" Himeko commanded as Bailu and Lingsha nodded.
"Got it! His wounds are serious but we won't let him down!" Bailu promised with a serious expression.
"Naruto… You are so close to your dreams coming true. After everything you have done for everyone else the least, we can do is help you win this final war." Lingsha told him gently as she placed Naruto's head onto her lap letting him rest against her.
'What is with all these beautiful women coming out?! How many good-looking women does Big brother know?' Kairi thought in particularly looking at Lingsha with jealously and envy.
Lingsha was a fair skinned young-looking mature woman who appeared to be in her early 20's so older then Stelle and March 7th but younger than Himeko who looked in her late 20's. Lingsha had thigh length red tipped brown hair, red eyes and notably pointed ears. She had golden hairpin on the left side of her hair that connected to another hairpin behind her hair by a red ribbon and tassel. Lingsha wore a black strapless thigh long dress with a very low sweetheart neckline exposing her large breasts. Her curves were notably in her dress as she had an hourglass figure and golden linings exposing her toned stomach. She had detached white sleeves with white green tassels, white fabric on the inside that exposed her hips and naval.
Lingsha also wore dark low heels and dark shorts with golden lining shaped like a lotus petal and golden on her the right side of her hip. She literally had a very sensual sexual feeling in her mature body. Aso notably on her arms and legs she had claw like scaling markings that could be mistaken for long gloves and boots and only added to her charm.
Namine and Xion got flustered looks when they saw their brother's head be placed onto the attractive woman's thighs and lap as Lingsha and Bailu put their hands out and they started to glow with elemental power. Afterwards a young-looking girl and young woman appeared as Lingsha gave them nods.
"Huohuo, Natashi… please help us as they will be rough with his exhaustion and wounds." Lingsha commanded as Huohuo nodded.
"Oh course! Mr. Naruto will not die under our watch!" Huohuoo stated while Natashi put a hand on her lip and looked amused.
"Is him being on your lap really needed? I think we could bring a table if Naruto needed to be stabilized? Or is it perhaps your own wish for Naruto to rest on your lap Lingsha?" Natasha asked as Lingsha whistled innocently.
"No idea what you are talking about but if Naruto enjoys his face in a beautiful woman's lap who am I to say no?" Lingsha retorted as Huohuo stood next to Bailu and added her own healing elemental powers to the mix.
"Enough! Stop bickering and get to healing!" Welt snapped as Natasha and Lingsha put their hands in surrender. Natasha then stood next to Lingsha as she squatted down and looked over Naruto.
"His wounds are serious but we can do this." Natasha declared with a look of seriousness.
Soon more people came out of the portals as they stood around the healers and Naruto whose head was still lying on Lingsha's lap.
"Here it comes! We have to protect them till Naruto is healed so we can't lose!" Stelle announced as she summoned a sword out of her chest with a burst of fire as her eyes showed protectiveness.
A beautiful tall mature woman with dark long hair came out with part of her hair covering her left eye.
"Or I can simply slay it. Being on the path of Nihility means I try to preserve life till its inevitable end. These guys are trying to push an end and rebirth much quicker then its destined to. They are my enemies." The woman stated coldly as she put a hand on her sword.
"Acheron! Remember you can't destroy this entire place! There are allies here too! Destroying this entire planet will make Naruto mad!" Lingsha yelled out as Acheron sighed but nodded.
"I know. Naruto enemies are my enemies as well but his allies are mine by extension." Acheron agreed showing her loyalty to her friend.
Acheron walked forward even as dozens of tendrils of darkness descended on from an angry Mountain Shadow Heartless let out a roar. She grabbed her sword out of its sheathe and in one fluid motion slashed before putting her sword back next to her side. She walked forward even as the tendrils seemed to stop in mid air. The next moment all the tendrils were slashed into thousands of pieces as the Mountain Shadow Heartless let out a roar of pain.
"Anyone who sees my blade in action deserves to be cut down. I will no hurt the innocent only those who would destroy the fragile balance of life and death." Acheron announced as she put a hand on her hip and cocked the other hip to the side looking unimpressed.
"Is it me or is Miss Acheron as scary as ever?" March 7th asked as Stelle nodded her head with a nervous chuckle.
"I sensed her power and skill the moment we met her on Penacony. It seems my instincts were not wrong about her. She really could be the Astral Express greatest ally or greatest foe." Welt noted with an impressed raising of his eyebrows.
"Luckily like Naruto she is our friend. The people with the greatest power ironically have the kindest hearts. If only we could invite them to join the never-ending adventures of the Astral Express for follow the Nameless. What a shame." Himeko sighed with a look of regret as she gazed at Naruto who was being healed and protected by the group who followed the path of Abundance.
Lea gulped as he rubbed his head as Xion and Roxas looked at him with a confused look.
"What is Axel?" Xion asked curiously with a tilt of her head.
"Nothing really… Just got to remember these other world travellers are stronger then they look… If a Somebody woman is two doses of being complex these women are three does of complex. Not worth trying to get to know them better if they slice my hair or hand off for being too forward." Lea explained as Xion gave Roxas a suspicious look when he looked nervous.
"Why do I feel he is talking about something only you and him know about? I also have a feeling it relates to me? Is there something you want to tell me Roxas?" Xion asked with narrowed eyes as she put her hands on her hips looking Roxas in the eyes before staring at Axel with the same suspicious eyes.
"Nothing Xion! Axel is just talking nonsense! I trust you and you can trust me! He is just trying to justify why these girls won't give him the time of day!" Roxas claimed as he ignored Axel look of betrayal.
'Dammit Roxas! You throwing me under the bus! I thought we were friends!' Axel thought as Xion turned her entire glare at him soley.
'I am never going to say this to Xion but now that we are somebodies, she seemed to be even more complex then before… Sorry Axel you are on your own.' Roxas thought looking away.
"Ven…. Do not learn from them. They are bad influences. Stay the way you." Aqua warned Ventus but with a sweet tone and smile.
"Um okay Aqua! Whatever you say!" Roxas replied with a confused but innocent smile and nod as Aqua nodded proudly.
The Mountain Shadow Heartless continued to send waves of darkness at Acheron including sending it in the form of Heartless like Neo Shadows, Darkballs, Invisibles, Flame Core, Water Cores and even Emblem Heartless like Soldiers, Large Bodies, Fat Bandits, Large Armour, Red Nocturne, Blue Rhapsody, Yellow Opera, Bandits, Bouncywild, Search Ghosts, Pot Spiders, Pirates, Wight Knight, Defenders, Bad Dogs, Minute Bombs, Hammer Frames, Morning Stars, and many others who still had a cool expression on her beautiful but deadly face.
"No matter what you send my way, you cannot make me yield. I fight for Naruto and that is a cause enough to put my life on the line." Acheron explained as she continued to cut through Heartless with single precise strikes no matter the number.
All the sudden Three massive Darkside Heartless appeared on opposite sides of Acheron as she was fighting off waves of smaller heartless with her sword. They tried to smash her with their fists but were stopped.
One Darkside had its head blown off and the upper part of its body destroyed by a black hole as Welt appeared above it and behind with his cane at the ready seemingly the one to destroy the vaporizing Darkside.
The other Darkside was barraged by a series of Ice Arrows that made its arms get frozen in place. March 7th sent a peace sign as she waved her bow which she used to fire the Ice Arrows side to side. That same Darkside was assaulted by a barrage of fire sent as a beam seemingly from the heaven above. Himeko smirked and sent a saucy wink making most of the boys blushing from her attractive face. Finally, Stelle ran up the frozen arms before she thrust her flaming sword into its head with all her strength with a roar of battle. This caused the Darkside to roar as its head was damaged and it slowly vanished due to the damage done.
The last Darkside was assaulted by a combination of giant Water Dragon and a giant Eletric Soldier combining to form a watery Electric wave that destroyed it and wiped out a few smaller heartless in th distance. This was due to a combo attack by Dan Hung in his former state and Jing Yuan combining their powers together.
Acheron leapt back to look at her comrades with a raised eyebrow.
"Don't forget we are here too. It's not only Miss Acheron who is strong." Welt remind them stoically as he flicked his cane as it was a sword getting blood off its blade.
"Hey Acheron! Don't forget we are all here to support Naruto! You are not the only one who wants to end this war or his sake!" Stelle reminded her as everyone behind her nodded their approval.
Acheron was silent before a small smile appeared as she nodded.
"You are right. Forgive me. DO what you wish." Acheron apologized simply as she dashed forward to slice more Heartless with her swordmanship.
"These people… They are like Naruto… They wield incredible powers that are completely unique to us but they fight for Naruto's sake. I feel they are people we can trust." Mickey noted as Riku nodded in agreement.
This continued for about 30 minutes as the people who follow the path of Abundance frantically tried to heal the unconscious Naruto. Despite their best the attackers seemed unable to truly defeat the Mountain Shadow Heartless.
"Dammit I keep cutting it down but it gets back up right away. Even this small Heartless keep popping back up…" Acheron noted with frustration as her hair had turned completely white and her eyes turned red showing she was taking this seriously.
"Maybe only Naruto can actually defeat it for good?" Dan Hung suggested as he sent another water Dragon wave at hoard of Heartless and Nobodies which seemed to have been summoned.
Meanwhile Lingsha and the healers were panting as it seemed they had closed Naruto's wounds but he stayed asleep.
"Dammit… Its chakra that is the issue. He taken so much damage he is not actually restoring his chakra as he is absorbing it as fast as he is creating it to stay alive…. He is truly so exhausted that our attempts to heal him aren't very effective…" Lingsha admitted as she gazed down at his peaceful face.
"All we can do is give him time to rest while everyone else protects him…" Natasha admitted as Robin stood next time and continued to sing softly.
'Please hurry Naruto… At this rate everyone will exhaust themselves… Only you can save everyone now…' Robin thought sadly briefly looking at Naruto for a moment.
SAM was someone appeared to be rather tall wearing a metal suit of amour sent another kick enhanced with fire at the Mountain Shadow Heartless main body. Despite the sheer difference in size between them SAM was able to send it flying by the kick as 'it' flew after the Heartless.
"I will never forgive anyone who hurts Naruto! I will burn you to ashes!" SAM declared in 'its' distorted voice that sounded somewhat male but also somewhat mechanic.
SAM sent another punch enhanced with fire sending the Heartless further into the air as 'it' landed on 'its' feet. SAM glared at the Organization 13 as 'it' crossed 'its' arms over 'its' chest.
"You could be considered Naruto's enemies as well. I will give you a warning. You can choose to surrender and join Naruto… If you do not…" SAM warned as it sent a wave of fire around its body in anger making the people around her jimp way.
"You can ALL DIE HERE!" SAM roared in anger as the fire surged into a wall around 'it'.
Lea covered his face as even inside the barrier the Seekers of Darkness and Guardians of Light could feel the sheer heat from SAM anger.
"I can make fire but even I have to say whoever this armour is, can make some super hot fire!" Lea admitted as he wiped sweat from the side of his face with his black gloved hand.
Naruto suddenly opened his eyes and let out a groan much to the healer's concern.
"Naruto! You have to rest! You are not back to normal yet!" Lingsha told him with concern but Naruto smiled as he got off her lap making her pout. Lingsha blushed when he gave her a quick kiss on her cheek.
"It's alright. Thanks everyone for protecting me but now its time for me to continue this fight." Naruto assured them with a smile.
Naruto leapt forward out of the circle he was surrounded by much to everyone shock.
"Naruto?!" Everyone from the other world shouted as he nodded to them.
Naruto walked towards SAM and despite the fire he walked through it calmly showing he was not burned or harmed by the Fire.
SAM seemed surprised to see him before Naruto dropped to a knee and held 'its' hand with both of his. SAM almost seemed flustered as 'it' put a hand over 'its' cheek before shaking 'its' cheek. Naruto smiled up at SAM before SAM put a hand over 'its' heart almost like it was touched by Naruto's sentiment. AN2:
"What is going on here?!" Sora summarized the shock of the Guardians of Light and Seekers of Darkness.
SAM sighed as Naruto got off his knee but held her hand with his right hand still.
"THIS is to show you all that… I am…" SAM started but his mechanical voice seemed to transform into a young woman clam but still cold voice midway through.
There was a burst of fire that seemed to extinguish the fire wall around them that erupted from SAM amour as her the armour vanished. From the Fire a beautiful young woman came out of the armour as her voice changed as well.
The young woman had long free flowing silver hair that was green at the bottom edges. Her eyes were an unique mix of blue, pink and white and a brown headband on the top of her head. She also had a black bow and two green feathers on the left side of her head. She wore a brown blazer over her short green and white dress that ended at her lower thighs. She also wore dark thigh high stockings that ended about an inch below her dress and white heels.
"I am Firefly and that was SAM. My armour and sword. I am pleased to meet you as Firefly." Firefly explained calmly with her sweet voice notably contrasting her mechanical cold voice as SAM.
"Nani! You were in that scary armour?!" Donald squeaked as Firefly nodded before she smiled happily at Naruto.
"Hi Naruto… You are awake again. I was so worried." Firefly fussed as her expression and tone changed to a worried wife as Naruto smiled back at her.
"Sorry to worry you. I am glad you and everyone fought in my place." Naruto told her warmly as he cupped her cheek as Firefly leaned into his touch.
Kairi, Xion and Namine gaped at the interaction while the people from the outside world seemed to think it was no big deal as they simply smiled at them.
The Mountain Shadow Heartless roared seeing Naruto awake again as it tried to ram itself at Naruto again. Naruto clapped his hands together as hundreds of hands seemed to come out of the ground. It seemed to grab onto every Heartless and Nobody in its hands and hold them in place to the point they seemed unable to escape using Corridors of Darkness. Even the Mountain Shadow Heartless was bound in place as dozens of hands grabbed it.
Before Naruto could say anything, else there was a bright light from Naruto's hand much to his surprise.
"Wait this is!" Robin gasped as the entire battle ground seemed to fade out and changed as one of Naruto's memories appeared and leaked out.
Flashback to Sunday's attempt to put all of Penacony under the control of Order
"It's over Sunday!" Naruto declared as he glared at Sunday's Golden form combined with the power of Order. He had a Giant Rasengan in hand swirling ready to smash into Sunday's Giant Form.
"Yeah! This will be..?" Stelle yelled before she suddenly got cut off.
"Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!, Thunk!" could be heard as bodies dropped onto the platform.
"What the? Everyone what's wrong?" Naruto yelled as he turned around to see his friends lying there clearly asleep. It was Stelle or 'Miss Stellaron' as she was sometimes called, March 7th, The Navigator Himeko, Dan Heng, Welt and Robin who were on the floor unconscious.
Naruto instantly dropped his Giant Rasengan as he dashed forward and got in front of them. He tried shaking them awake but they had content and massive smiles on their faces and stayed asleep. He held Stelle in his arms as she smiled seemingly unaware of what was happening.
"I am Sorry Naruto Uzumaki. You are simply too late." Sunday morphed voice stated with both sadness and a hint of smugness as he smiled down at Naruto, the Astral Express and his own sister Robin.
Naruto stayed on his knees but shifted over to put an arm over his friends protectively.
"What did you do to them Sunday?" Naruto yelled with notable anger which only grew when Sunday simply smiled down at him.
"Stop smiling and tell me what you did to them!" Naruto yelled as yellow chakra flowed out of him from his anger.
"I simply gave them what they wanted. I gave them happy eternal dreams like I promised." Sunday explained simply as Naruto narrowed his eyes.
"Does that mean they are entrapped by the power of Order?" Naruto asked resentfully as Sunday seemed amused.
"Not just them. All of Penacony is getting their happy ending so to speak. I have brough suffering and loss to an actual end! No more shall people have to live in this unequal and cruel world!" Sunday declared with a mighty voice.
"That means… They won't wake up... They will stay asleep…." Naruto mumbled trailing off with Sunday nodding.
"Forever but that is the ultimate joy I can give them. In these dreams they are living! There perfect lives! It is possible they believe they won against me and 'saved' Penacony! They can dream that and it wouldn't affect anyone else!" Sunday shouted sarcastically saying 'saved' showing that he didn't believe stopping him saved anyone.
Naruto eyes grew sad as he gazed down at Stelle, and March 7th face before he wiped a tear from his eyes. After a moment of standing still he looked up showing Golden Toad like Horizontal Eyes. He and activated a perfected Toad-Style Sage Mode.
Naruto looked around with his eyes seemingly scanning for something before he bit his lip with frustration.
"Ah Naruto Uzumaki. Trying to find someone in the Dreamscape to help you? Sorry to say I am not lying. The Entire Dreamscape is now under my control. But a control where I have given them true peace instead of asking them to give up their dreams!" Sunday noted with a hint of pity aimed at Naruto.
'He's right. I can't sense anyone else who is awake in the Dreamscape… except one… The only one besides me who cannot fall under the power of Order…' Naruto thought in realization.
Naruto quickly grabbed the Astral Express and Robin into a pile and held them in his arms.
"Do you wish to escape? I won't stop you. I do not wish to fight you or anyone like I have always said. However, whether you leave with them or not will not change the facts. They will stay in their happy dreams forever whether they stay here or go with you." Sunday told him gently rebuking him like he was a child.
"Just remember. You are the only one who is living in a 'fake' reality while your friends and everyone else is actually living in a 'real' dream full of happiness. I wish I could save you as well." Sunday noted with sadness dripping from his voice.
Naruto shook his head before the group vanished instantly leaving Sunday to close his eyes with a content smile having realized his goal.
Naruto reappeared using Flying Rajin back in the Dreamscape version of the Hotel gently resting Stelle, March 7th, Himeko, Dan Heng, Himeko and Robin onto the long couch sitting side by side. Naruto looked at them gently.
"Don't worry. I will come back for you. I just need to talk to a friend right now." Naruto assured them with a warm smile. Naruto focused and with a burst of chakra he opened his eyes.
He had returned to the 'real' Penacony or rather reality itself as he saw someone sitting on a couch where his friends in the Dreamscape just were.
"Hey Firefly…. I failed…" Naruto admitted dropping his head in shame.
All he felt was a warm body and comforting hug as Firefly wrapped her arms around his neck. He instinctively wrapped his own arms around her slim waist as they just held each other for comfort.
"You didn't fail Naruto… None of us could have known that Order was already capable of trapping them in dreams at this point. If anything, it proves that even us wanted a part even a small part of being trapped in Order." Firefly told him soothingly.
Firefly was a rather tall, slender and beautiful girl with silvery-blonde hair, fair skin and a unique mix of ocean blue and sunset pink eyes.
"Thanks Firefly… To be honest there is a lot to like about you but your eyes have always enchanted me most about you. They are super beautiful." Naruto commented as he held the young woman who smiled happily at him.
"You always know what to say to a woman like me Naruto… The things that could draw any hearts to yours." Firefly replied back sweetly.
Naruto let a few tears run down his face along with Firefly as they had to accept a simply truth.
"I know… As much as the Astral Express and Robin wanted to stop Sunday…. A small part of them also wanted to not have to worry anymore… Just a part of being human and having choices." Naruto admitted out loud.
They stayed together for several minutes before Firefly let go of him only to bring him to the couch holding onto his hand as they sat down.
"Everyone probably on some level would want what Sunday offers even if they wanted to stop him. Order likely takes these small weakness or rather small gaps in people's resolve to give people what they want." Firefly noted with small smile that was reflected by Naruto.
Naruto looked up at the roof with a solemn expression.
"Sunday might have a point. He is giving everyone whatever they could possibly want. In that way he is more a 'Saviour' then I am for this world. I can't make everything happen in reality for entire worlds like he can in dreams fabricated for each individual person." Naruto admitted with a bitter smile as he looked down at his left arm.
Firefly gave him a gentle squeeze of his intertwined hand which he returned as she shifted around to stare at him in the eyes.
"So what do do? If we leave, I don't think Sunday will follow us. He truly only wants to help people he can. Since neither of us can be brought under the control of Order since I cannot dream and you cannot be put under influences due to the X-blade we are not his concern anymore." Firefly noted showing that Naruto had at least told her about the X-blade.
"We are the only hope for this planet. Anyone else who even travels to Penacony will likely be trapped inside of a dream as soon as they arrive. We can't expect help from the outside. Sunday has full control of the entire world. It will be up to us to either leave this place trapped inside Happy Dreams or wake them up to the unfair Reality." Firefly added with a frown as Naruto looked down with uncertain eyes.
Naruto snapped his fingers as he had a look of realization.
"There is one other person who can help us! Acheron! She is unaffected by Order due to being a Self-Annihilator! She is probably still drifting in the Dreamscape as Sunday has no power over her!" Naruto noted as Firefly blinked and nodded.
"Ah that's right. The three of us will have to hold this world's fate in our hands." Firefly stated firmly as Naruto gave her hand a squeeze.
"Let's go back into the Dreamscape together! I guess it's bit rude to force our way into there but since everyone is asleep anyways, I think we can consider this an exception." Naruto commented as Firefly grinned with a slight blush.
"Acheron is always so blunt… and mature…. I wonder what she will say about the situation?" Firefly asked as Naruto and Firefly glowed in yellow chakra and then there was a sound of a window cracking.
Both Naruto and Firefly had re-entered the Dreamscape version of the Hotel with the Astral Express happily sleeping on the couch like before.
"The first time we met Acheron she called you being my tour guide as a 'date'. That was pretty funny when your face started to steam. It was also very cute and pretty and I am glad you were with me that time." Naruto noted as he held onto Firefly's hand with a bright smile and his own blue eyes sparkling with amusement.
Firefly face turned scarlet as she used her free hand to play with a strand of hair and move it behind her ear and out of her face.
"You didn't correct her and I swear Acheron was teasing us!... Although I enjoyed it more then just because I was your tour guide as well Naruto…" Firefly admitted as she blushed deeper when Naruto rubbed her cheek.
Firefly didn't complain and instead leaned into his touch as Naruto closed his eyes. After a moment he returned to Toad Style Sage Mode with his yellow horizontal cross eyes. Naruto eyes moved left and right before he hummed.
"Found her. Her unique signature popped out now that I am looking for her. Let's go Firefly." Naruto stated as Firefly nodded with a look of determination.
Naruto hold onto Firefly arm as they flew through the Dreamscape appearing little more then a gray and yellow blue symbolizing their notable hair colours. Soon they arrived in front of a woman who looked up at them with a calm expression.
"It seems that Sunday or rather the power of Order has won the day. Everyone else is asleep besides the three of us. I am guessing since the Astral Express is not here then it means they too fell under the power of Order?" Acheron asked bluntly as Naruto and Firefly landed but notably Firefly held onto Naruto's hand protectively.
Acheron was a mature beautiful woman who appeared to be in her late 20's and like Himeko had a natural seductive beauty 'without trying'. She was a tall mature woman with pale skin. Long straight dark purple hair that reached her thighs. She had a fringe of hair over her left eye making it appeared covered a majority of the time, bright violet eyes with pink highlights and diamond shaped pupils. Her outfit left little to the imagination of her mature beauty. She had a black crop top that exposed a large portion of her large breasts through a plunging neckline with a choker on her neck. She wore a white and purple jacker on her arms along with form fitting black and purple shorts shorts that exposed her toned stomach and only reached down her waist. She had black boots that reached her knees leaving a patch of skin between her boots and short shorts. She notably had large sword attached to a sheathe on her hip.
"Miss Acheron! Must you be so blunt! Naruto feels bad enough to come running to you for help!" Firefly retorted with a pout of her lips as Acheron raised an eyebrow before nodding.
"Forgive me. Saying blunt truths is a bad habit of mine. I know Naruto tried his best so Sunday and Order must be stronger than we thought to bring him of all people running." Acheron apologized as Naruto shook his head.
"It's alright Acheron, Firefly. Acheron is right. We underestimated Sunday. I never thought he could capture the Astral Express midway through our fight like that. His conviction was stronger than I thought. We essentially lost once the world is under Order now." Naruto admitted with a sad smile.
"It's just like when Madara as Ten-Tails Jinchuriki enslaved the world under the Infinite Tsukiyomi. They both had similar goals of putting people under dreams to get peace and happiness and both times I was spared from their control. That means its up to me to save everyone again." Naruto noted as he closed his eyes before his Golden Yellow Toad Sage Mode eyes shone with determination.
Firefly and Acheron exchanged a look od uncertainly.
"How do we wake them? Even if we beat up Sunday will that guaranteed that everyone will wake up from Order or will they stay trapped since they are already asleep?" Firefly asked as Acheron bit her lip gently.
"We need Robin to sing a song of Harmony to connect everyone and wake them up but to do that…." Naruto noted as Acheron nodded and crossed her arms.
"We need to wake up the Astral Express to have a chance to topple the control of Order in this perfect Dreamscape." Acheron finished off Naruto's thought as Naruto put his arms out.
Acheron and Firefly nodded as they snuggled into Naruto's embrace and Naruto in return put his hands on their slim waists protectively. Suddenly they flew at high speeds in a triple blur as they soon arrived in the Dreamscape of the Hotel entrance. Acheron eye as sad as she looked at the smiling Astral Express and Robin sleeping happily.
"They certainly look like they are happy. It seems Mr. Sunday kept his word and only gave them happy dreams even if be is enslaving their free will and choices away from them." Acheron noted with a knowing look as Firefly and Naruto looked frustrated.
Naruto walked up to Himeko and Stelle and placed a hand gently on each of their cheeks. He gently rubbed their cheeks as he gazed at their happy smiles with a look of sadness.
"They might be happy and they might be content but… It's not real. They won't be able to move forward stuck in the present." Naruto stated firmly but his expression was soft.
"It's not really any different from Madara and Obito trying to use the Infinite Tsukiyomi to entrap the entire world and leading them into 'ideal dreams' using their chakra to keep them trapped forever. Of course, the Infinite Tsukoyomi turns you into White Zetsu after a few years but it does grant you happy dreams. Sunday relying on the power of Order to grant happy dreams is due to him unable to accept reality and believe in people." Naruto sighed as he looked over at Acheron and Firefly.
"You are going to wake them up? Sorry to say but we won't be able to help you. Our power keeps us unable to be swept into the dreams created by Order but we do not have the power to enter their dreams." Firefly admitted as Acheron nodded her head sombrely as Naruto gave them a kind smile.
"It's alright. I have the power of the X-blade and the connecting power of chakra. I can enter their dreams and wake them up one at a time. When we wake up from our dreams we will enter back into the Dreamscape as that is where their spiritual bodies are right now." Naruto announced with his eyes shining with determination.
Firefly and Acheron nodded at Naruto and smiled as Acheron put a hand on her sword.
"If you fall asleep and cannot wake up I will use my sword to cut into your dreams one or another. You don't need to worry one way or another you will wake up." Acheron claimed with a flat expression making Naruto and Firefly exchange a nervous expression and chuckle.
"Um you are kidding right? That sword is pretty powerful after all…" Firefly asked as Acheron raised an eyebrow.
"What makes you think I am joking Miss Firefly? Naruto cannot be allowed to fall under the control of Order. If he does then this entire planet is doomed forever." Acheron stated as Naruto sighed but nodded as he turned to look at Stelle who was still smiling with pure contentment on her face.
"Right. Anyways wish me luck. This won't be easy but I will get this done!" Naruto stated with a grin turning to Firefly and Acheron giving hem a reassuring look.
Acheron nodded but Firefly looked worried as she gently bit her lip.
"Naruto…. Sunday and Order are powerful. If not for our unique situations, then even us would be trapped in 'happy dreams'. How can you be sure you won't fall under their control if you go directly into Stelle's or anyone dreams who is under their control?" Firefly asked softly looking down at her hands which were on her thighs.
Naruto looked sympathetically at her before he moved Firefly chin so her face was looking at him. Naruto's blue eyes met Firefly unique eyes that were a mix of deep ocean blue and sunset pink.
"I could tell you that the X-blade won't let me be under anyone control or illusions or say that my chakra and powers will protect me." Naruto noted before shaking his head as his eyes grew unbelievably soft and full of affection as he stared into Firefly pretty eyes.
"However, … What will really save me is both of you. You will be my connection and tether to reality and the future. Our hears are connected and linked. As long as you are not in the dream, I will be able to find you and come back to you. We are part of each other's lives forever after all." Naruto stated talking to both Firefly and Acheron but his focus was on Firefly who looked deep into his eyes.
"Naruto… You…" Firefly mumbled as her cheeks turned a healthy red as she seemed embarrassed but her expression was full of love and contentment as she gazed into Naruto's eyes.
Naruto dropped to one knee as he held Firefly left hand with both of his. Acheron looked rather amused and gave an excited gasp while Firefly face turned scarlet.
"Let me make a promise then. As long as I live, I will find my way back to you no matter my dear Firefly. Even if I leave this world or perhaps Universe, I will find a way to come back to you. So something as minor as a few dreams will not be able to split us apart if I will find you across the vast multiverse!" Naruto declared as he placed a chaste kiss on Firefly left hand which he held with his hands. He then smiled warmly at her.
"Naruto!" Firefly squealed but her expression was nothing but love as she placed her right hand on her cheek for a moment before placing it over her chest over her heart.
They stayed in this romantic looking pose for a minute before Acheron gave an amused giggle getting their attention. They looked sheepish seemingly just realizing Acheron was still there.
"Sorry to interrupt this… date? It seems more intense than the one in Penacony but there are people who are waiting for you Naruto." Acheron apologized before using her head to point at the asleep Astral Express.
"Acheron! This wasn't a date!" Firefly claimed but her loving expression in Naruto's direction seemed to disprove this.
Naruto stood up despite Firefly's disappointed expression before giving Firefly a quick squeeze of her left hand making her smile. Naruto sighed before giving a good-natured rolling of his eyes in Acheron's direction.
"You are really good-looking Acheron but your blunt nature is something that is both endearing and abit too honest." Naruto noted as Acheron just raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her large chest.
"Anyways. I will be back. Now Astral Express and Robin… Time to wake from your dreams!" Naruto announced as put his hands together to form a hand sign and focused his chakra.
He looked at Stelle first as he gently brushed Stelle silvery gray hair out of her face in an intimate manner.
"I will wake you up no matter what. I won't let him take your real future away from you or anyone else." Naruto said gently before his expression grew sombre.
"Even if you end up hating me, I won't regret giving you future back." Naruto promised her as Firefly and Acheron eyes widened.
"What are you talking about?!" Firefly demanded as Naruto eyes were soft.
"By waking them up I am forcing them to face reality as it is rather than a dream where everything works out for the better. Its only natural people hate or resent the person who forces them to keep moving forward. It's okay though. I won't hold it against them or stop loving them even if they hate me." Naruto explained rubbing his head when he said love before growing serious.
Naruto placed a hand on Stelle's cheek before his hand glowed blue and there was a bright light as he entered her dreams.
Back in the present.
The Astral express looked guilty while Stelle looked at Naruto with wide eyes.
"Naruto… You actually thought we could hate you for saving us?" Stelle asked with shock as Naruto sighed and looked down.
"I took away your happy dreams and made you live in this imperfect reality… In a way I did shatter 'Heaven' because I couldn't accept you all not having a future…" Naruto admitted.
"You idiot! We might have been weak enough to embrace a dream but you saved us! We could never hate you! Everyone here knows you saved us and now we are here together to help you!" March 7th snapped before her eyes turned soft as Naruto looked wide eyed but smiled.
