Chapter 9
Everyone was in the meeting room, sitting on chairs around the table. "So, what you're saying is that the demon hunters are now sinners, they are now pretending to be demon royalty, my ex wife and her brother hired them to get Octavia to marry one of them, and they are secretly planning on killing her tomorrow?!" says Stolas.
Francesco nods and Loona says: "Those fucking assholes don't know when to quit. But we killed them before, we can do it again." "Will they come back to life again?" Francesco says in a depressing voice. "No, they won't. When a sinner dies in Hell, they're gone for good," says Moxxie. "I already thought they were, but it's not like that's going to make things harder for us, isn't it? If anyone needs me, I'm right outside that door."
He stands up and walks out of the room. "Sounds like he's not happy that his relatives are still alive. But I'm sure he's fine," says Blitzo. Suddenly, there was a loud crash outside the meeting room. "You were saying Blitz?" says Millie. They all ran out of the room and saw Francesco grabbing random objects and smashing them.
"Dude! What the fuck are you doing?!" says Blitzo. "What does it look like?! I've just found out that my dad, my older brother and his partner are still alive and they're still trying to kill all of us! I thought it was all over, but no! Heaven decided to not allow them through their golden gates and to keep them here, just so they could continue to ruin my life!"
Francesco kept smashing objects, until Loona grabbed his arms and says: "Hey! You need to stop! This isn't going to make it all go away! You need to calm down. I know that they're going to do something bad, but it's going to be ok. We're going to save Via. They are not going to hurt anybody ever again. We'll make sure of it."
She then pulls him in for a hug and he cries again. After a few minutes, Francesco calms down and says: "Sorry about that. I promise I won't do that again." "You better, otherwise I'm charging you for the damages," says Blitzo. Stolas punches him in the shoulder and says: "Nobody is charging anybody. Unless we can convince the sins that Stella and Andrealphus committed these crimes."
Francesco clears his throat before saying: "Speaking of which, I know where Striker is." "You do?" says Moxxie. "Yes. Apparently, he's observing the church where the wedding is taking place in. Maybe if we go now, we can catch him off guard." "Well, you all go and kick his ass. I'll stay here and watch over Millie again," says Stolas.
"Have fun," says Millie. Francesco, Loona, Blitzo and Moxxie got into a van and drove towards the church. They parked out of sight of it and they all got out of the van. "So, if I were Striker, I would be on the top of one of these buildings," says Blitzo. "But which one is he at?" says Moxxie. "How about the one that's directly in front of the church?" says Francesco.
"Oh yeah, that's a good point." "Guys, come on. We have to hurry," says Loona. They all ran to the building and stopped at the side of it. Francesco pulls out his grapple gun and a real gun and says: "Alright, you three take the stairs and I'll meet you up there." "Wait, I thought you said we weren't supposed to kill him," says Blitzo. "I know. I'm not going to shoot him, I'm just going to hold him at gun point."
He then uses the grapple gun to climb the building. Loona, Blitzo and Moxxie started to run up the stairs. At the top of the building, Francesco saw a fancy sniper rifle on top of a box. "This is definitely the right building. He's been here recently, but why would he leave his weapon here on it's own?" "Maybe because I didn't?"
Suddenly, Francesco felt someone pointing a gun at his back. Standing behind him was a imp dressed up as a cowboy. "I take it that you're Striker?" says Francesco. "Yep. And you're the human that's been sticking his nose into other people's businesses. You should have died a long time ago." "Look, all I want to know is why you are here? Shouldn't you be trying to kill Stolas or something?"
"I am. I was told that he should be coming here to try to interrupt his kid's wedding. Perfect opportunity if you ask me. Also, if you know who I am, then why did you come here alone?" Francesco gave a little chuckle before saying; "Who said I was alone?" A door opened and Loona, Blitzo and Moxxie ran towards Striker.
"Surprise motherfucker!" says Blitzo. Striker turned around and Francesco kicked him backwards. "Vermin!" says Striker. He saw the three demons getting closer to him, so he started to fire his pistol at them. "Take cover!" says Blitzo. He, Loona and Moxxie jumped out of the way of the bullets. Francesco kicked the gun out of Striker's hand and he pulls out some knives.
He swung them at Francesco but he kept dodging them. However, Striker kept making him walk towards the edge of the building. Francesco realised that he was standing at the edge and stopped moving. "Think fast!" says Striker. He threw the knives at Francesco and he caught them. "Missed me!" says Francesco. "Wanna bet?"
Striker ran towards Francesco and kicked him off the roof. "Fran!" says Loona. "No! You bastard!" Moxxie quickly tackled Striker to the ground and Blitzo held him at gun point. Francesco screams as he fell down the building and stopped when he landed in a dumpster. A random hellhound that was walking past the building looked inside, saw Francesco, quickly picked him up and carried him away.
On the top of the building, Striker says: "Go ahead. Do it. Finish me." Blitzo was super angry, he started to pull the trigger and Loona says: "No dad, stop! It's what he wants!" "I don't care! He just killed our friend! Not only that, Octavia's boyfriend! If she was here, I'm sure that she would want me to do this!" "Blitz! If you kill him now, we won't be able to prove that Stella and Andrealphus hired him! Just put the gun down!" says Moxxie.
Loona puts a hand on Blitzo's shoulder and says: "If you shoot him, they will all win. Please, don't do this." Eventually, Blitzo lowers the gun and then he hits Striker with it. "Blitz! What are you doing?!" says Moxxie. "Calm down Moxxie! I've only just knocked him out! He's still alive, isn't he?!" Loona places a hand on Striker's chest and says: "Yeah, he's still alive."
She then picks him up and carried him to the van. They all got in and drove away; after checking the dumpster for Francesco. They arrived at the I.M.P building and they all went inside. They sat Striker down on a chair and tightly tied him up. "Are you sure he's gone?" says Stolas. "Yeah. We searched the entire alleyway, but we couldn't find his body," says Loona.
"I can't believe it. We have to go and find him," says Millie. "There's not enough time. The wedding is tomorrow, so you all should go home and rest. I'll stay here and make sure he doesn't escape," says Blitzo. "Before anyone goes anywhere, can you open a portal to Millie's farm?" says Moxxie. "Why?" "Because I think it would be best if she was with her family right now."
Millie stands up and says: "There's no need, I'm fine." "Millie, this isn't the time to argue. You should be with your family whilst we deal with this mess," says Moxxie. "Oh come on Mox! We should be working together. Why can't I help with this mission?" "This isn't a mission, it's a life or death situation." "Isn't that what missions are though?" "Millie, get going now." "Why are you trying to push me away?!" "Because you're pregnant Millie! If you die, our baby dies! And I don't know what to do without you two!"
Moxxie puts his hands on Millie's shoulder and says: "Please. I'll make it up to you, I promise." A tear came out their eyes. Millie then says: "Just don't die, ok?" Moxxie nods and Blitzo opens a portal to Millie's farm. Before walking through it, she blows a kiss to Moxxie and he catches it. She then walks through the portal and it closes behind her.
"You did the right thing Moxxie," says Blitzo. "I know. Let's just hope that we survive tomorrow." Moxxie then left the office to go to his and Millie's apartment. Blitzo handed the keys to their apartment to Loona so she could take Stolas there. Blitzo grabbed a chair and sat in front of Striker. He slowly woke up and gave a cold stare. He also had tape over his mouth so he couldn't talk.
Blitzo sighs before saying: "Francesco was just a human, but he was a good one. It's not very often that I get to see a good human. And you killed him, so you're going to pay for it tomorrow. And so is Stella, Andrealphus and the demon hunters."
