In the mountains by the Tian Quan City. the Operation of Savage's wipe out had begun as Little Garden has their top Slayers dispatched to clear the aliens from the area yet for an unknown reason to many, the number of enemies didn't match the information collected by the officials.
Hayato who left on a fake reconnaissance mission, had contacted the three Hunters who deployed strange machines that emit jamming waves to the whole forest. Right now, they are on the move against the Squad of Slayers who they are attacking.
Small explosions occurred to one part of the forest as two Slayers fly in the air before they crashed and their Hundred came undone when they became unconscious.
"w-who the heck are you people!?" a random slayer exclaimed while wielding a large hi-tech rifle that is aimed at the Three Hunters who are armed with their own Hundred.
"we're Hunters." Krovanh replied to the Slayer as he wields his Orthos Liberio which he spins around before the weapon is leaned against his shoulder. He smirks with a short chuckle. "haven't you heard of us?"
"H-Hunters?" the cornered Slayer stuttered before screaming in pain when a jet black dragoon with glowing yellow neon marks delivered an energy blast from behind.
"three more Variable Stones get~!" Nakri cheers with a smile while the black Dragoon goes near Nesat who is surrounded by more Dragoons. "so easy~!"
"let's collect them and move on to the next squad." Said Nesat while Krovanh is picking up the down Slayers' Variable Stones that had deactivated when they were taken out.
"got it, Neesan." Krovanh replied as he holds the three Slayer's Variable Stones in his right hand before he passes it to Nakri for safe keeping in a pouch that is filled with other Slayer's Variable Stones that they already stole. He held his right arm up and press a button on his wrist that shows a hologram map with several red dots and a few x marks. "The next closest one is about 2 miles from here."
"These ones look weak~!" said Nakri as she held her right arm and is checking a hologram screen that shows a list filled with information of the Slayers who have been dispatched for the mission. "just a bunch of Chevalier, Long Shooters, and Arsenal types. Talk about lame~!"
"even if they are lame, we can't underestimate them." Nesat told her female comrade as she turns and begins walking away. "Hayato taught us that, right?"
"yeah, yeah, he did." Said Krovanh as he followed after her with Nakri. "I don't get why you have to be so serious when it comes to something related to that guy? he's so damn annoying when he became Warslan Inc's Lapdog."

The Dragoons around Nesat instantly surrounds Krovanh in an instant as this caused the Male Hunter to let out a quick 'EEep!', not because of the weapons that are charging energy and ready to fire at him. it is because of the fact that his fellow comrade is glaring at him in a cold and dark stare.
"DON'T. BADMOUTH. HAYATO. AGAIN." Nesat spoke out her sentences one by one while her right eye glows menacingly. "UNDERSTAND, KROVANH?"
"y-yes!" Krovanh stutters as he is incredibly scared of his sister when she gets angry.
Nesat keeps staring at Krovanh for a moment before she turns and walks away with her Dragoon powering down and then followed after their wielder.
"t-too close!" said Krovanh as he sighs while placing a hand to his chest where his heart is beating fast from the scare.
"I keep telling you to never do that when Nesat is around, Krovanh~" Nakri spoke in a sing song while passing by the male Hunter. "but you never listen. Don't you, scaredy cat~?"
"s-shut up!" Krovanh exclaimed angrily as he walks and follows after Nakri and Nesat. "i-I was just…tired! Yeah! that's it! I wasn't scared at all!"
"you just keep on saying that~" Nakri replied with a cheeky smile.
"don't you smile like that!" Krovanh exclaimed while growling.
While Krovanh is having a one side argument with Nakri about him being scared by his own sister. Nesat continues to walk a few steps from her team in silence before she raise her right arm and place a hand to her right ear which has her communicator equipped.
"Vitaly, we are on our way to the next squad." Nesat spoke out. "and we have obtained 3 more Variable Stones from the previous squad."
"good work, Nesat." Vitaly's voice spoke from the communicator. "focus on the mission and complete it."
"ok." Nesat nods. "is Hayato with you now?"
Somewhere by the mountain's bottom, there is a café that is carefully hidden under camouflage from the trees and a grey camo tarp. Within it is a tunnel and at the end of it there is a wide opening where a large military tent could be found positioned within.
Within the large tent are crates of supplies and cores from Savages, several beds, and a table filled with highly advanced technical computer equipment that has monitors showing the entire location of the Mountain.
"He should be with you right now, right?" Nesat's voice spoke from one monitor screen showing three yellow dots moving towards a red dot on a map and three data list of the three Hunters. "I mean, he was heading straight for your location and all."
"he should be." Vitaly appears as she sits in front of the many monitors on a wheelchair. The red haired woman smiling while having a hand to her 7 months looking pregnant stomach that she caresses many times. "but he has not arrived yet." She checks one monitor that shows a data list of Hayato and a green dot that is moving near her area. "the invisibility function of his Mumei drains his energy a bit drastically and this would mean that his speed will also be decreased. That must be the reason why he is so slow in reaching the place."
"I see.." Nesat spoke in a rather disappointed voice. "I wanted to hear his voice though…"
Hearing Nessat's disappointed voice made Vitaly merely chuckle in response.
"as always you are so clinging to him, Nesat." Said Vitaly with a smile. "be at ease, I'll get him to call you once he arrives."
"that won't be necessary." Hayato's voice spoke out from behind Vitaly who turns her head and gets a kiss on the cheeks by the eastern man who smiles while having arrived in her secret base. "hello, beautiful."
"speak of the devil himself. He has just arrived" Said Vitaly with a smile before she glanced at the monitor that shows the location of the Three Hunters. "looks like your wish to hear him was granted early, Nesat."
"indeed." Said Hayato while looking to the monitor showing Nesat and her team who have just arrived at their next target's location. "and seems that you are making good work on the mission, Nesat. Good work."
"yup. Thanks, Hayato." Nesat replied in a rather small cheerful tone that is mixed with the sound of distant explosions and pained scream. "I just took down three Slayers while Krovanh and Nakri took down two together. We now have nearly 31 Variable Stones collected from them."
"that's very good." Hayato smiles with a nod before he looks at the map and made a serious expression. "but be careful on your next target, Nesat. The next one is a group of veteran Slayers from the Asian Confederation. They're strong, so be cautious when fighting them, ok?"
"ok, I got it." Nesat replies with a small affirming noise. "I'll contact you again after I take them down, ok?"
"alright. Over and out." said Hayato with a chuckle as the call was disconnected by Vitaly who press a button on a keyboard near the monitor screen that ends the communication with the Hunters. The eastern man sighs with a smile before he looks at the red haired woman who has her own smile while taking off the communicator on her right ear. He looks at her before tilting his head to the side. "so? what's the gender?"
"a girl." Vitaly replied as she looks down to her pregnant stomach, Hayato has a hand placed on the bulge and caress it several times. "What do you say about her name being Kisaragi Alina?" she placed a hand over the Savage Killer's hand and caress it a few times. "In Russia, the name means bright and beautiful. "seems to be a quiet night." Said Claire as she went near the campfire where Liddy and Erica are nearby. "no signs of Savages at all."
"indeed." Erica nods while checking information shown in the screen of her glasses. "we haven't gotten any update from the other squads who seem to be having the same situation as we do." She then looks up to the night sky. "and Kisaragi Hayato haven't returned from his reconnaissance yet."
"what is taking him so long?" Claire asked out loud while crossing her arms under her chest.
"perhaps he's trying to search for tracks of the Hunters instead of the Savages." Liddy stated while looking to Erica and then to Liddy. "for all we know, they are only collecting the Cores and leaving the Savage's corpse behind."
"so what you're saying is that he is trying to find the corpses and if he can find one, he could find tracks of the Hunters, is that it?" Claire replied as Liddy nods. The blonde thought about it before nodding. She then cups her chin. "as of now, his actions to take down the Hunters is logical considering how we haven't been encountering Savages during the whole mission."
"but he has been gone for at least an hour." Erica stated. "considering his standing and all, I would've thought he find something and report it to us."
"true." Said Claire before she place a hand to her communicator. "Kisaragi Hayato, this is Claire Harvey. Report on your reconnaissance mission."
Claire awaits his voice to reply but all she got was static noises in return.
"this is?" Claire muttered out with a confused voice. "Kisaragi Hayato, do you hear me? Kisaragi Hayato?"
"jamming?" Liddy asks before she tries her own communicator that let out static noises.
"Something is affecting all of our communicators." Erica stated as she had checked with her communicator before she looks around with her glasses showing information about some sort of energy wave that is tampering with their means of communication. "a wave jammer has been set up in the area. It's not allowing us to communicate with Kisaragi Hayato or Little Garden."
"I don't like this." Said Claire with a rather tense look before she glance to the side and her Hundred activates and forms her Dragoons that went to her side. "duck!"
Claire and Liddy quickly goes down to their knees as Claire unleashed several green beams that flew and hits an attack of yellow beams that came from within the forest before creating a big explosion.
"w-what's going on?!" Reitia cried out as she and Fritz came out form the tent in a hurry because of the explosion
"it's an ambush!" Erica exclaimed as she and Liddy gets back up while activating their Hundred.
Soon rains of yellow energy beams came flying out of the forest and straight for Claire and the others.
"disperse!" Claire exclaimed as she and Erica jumps to the side while Liddy and the others jumped into the air.
The attack came flying in and destroyed the group's tent that gets burnt holes before it ignites in fire that makes a bright light that illuminated the surrounding area by a few feet.
Claire and her team readied their weapons as they look to the part of the forest where the attack had come from as they see Nessat appearing first before followed by Krovanh and Nakri; the three having their Hundred readied.
"seems that after the last group, it's the Warslan Lap dogs next." Said Krovanh with a smirk as he leans his Duo Valga against his right shoulder. "lucky us."
"Claire-sama, these three are…" Liddy muttered out.
"The wanted Hunters…I presume?" said Claire while hardening her gaze at the three teens.
"hey guys, look. It's Claire Harvey, the Perfect Queen." Nakri snickers with a smirk. "she's a hot shot under Warslan, right?"
"taking her out will do us well and Vitaly." Said Nakri as her Hundred which took form of a Dragoon Type began to float around her in a circle before flying into the air and unleash a rain of yellow energy beams down to where Claire and the others are.
"go, everyone!" Claire exclaimed as her Dragoons disperse and unleash counterfire against the raining energy beams that gets cancelled upon the counterattack. "go for attack formation 31!"
"roger!" her teammates exclaimed before they dispersed.
"oraaaahh!" Reitia shouted out as she dashed at Nakri who smirks.

The two Slayers began to duke out as Reitia goes for a fury of punches and kicks against Nakri who spins and deflects her attack with her chakrams before returning it with a powerful swing that the hobbit girl dodges by jumping.
"weak!" Nakri shouted as she was about to throw her weapon towards Reitia's direction, but several energy shots came flying and made the female Hunter to raise a hand and creates an Energy Barrier to deflect the attacks which came from Fritz who clicked his tongue before firing more shots.
"keep at it, Fritz!" Reitia shouted as she lands and then dashes in towards Nakri who swings her chakrams around, but she quickly dodges and swings a kick that her foe also dodged and then backflips to avoid more energy beam shots from Fritz.
While Reitia and Fritz had Nakri occupied, Erica with Liddy are going against Krovanh who they unleashed a fury of combo attacks upon.
"raaaahh!" Krovanh roared out as he swings his Duo Valga down on Liddy who raise her shield that clashed against the weapon, both Slayers gritting their teeth while glaring against one another in a stalemate of power.
"Liddy!" Erica shouted as she swings her right arm around and then aimed her Everlasting at Krovanh before firing an energy chain that flew and wraps around the Hunter's waist. "Contact!"
Streams of electricity instantly channels itself from Erica's Hundred and into the energy chains before shocking Krovanh who screams in pain.
"an opening!" Liddy exclaimed as she took the opportunity to take out Krovanh who suddenly smirks while being shocked. "what!?"
"dummy~!" Krovanh exclaimed as his eyes turns gold reptilian before he grabs and breaks Erica's Everlasting chains like they were thin ropes.
"that's!" Erica stated in shock as she sees Krovanh's eyes. "Variant Power!"

"her Hundred change forms? Just like Kisaragi Hayato…" Claire spoke out in surprise before she jumps and dodge a lance thrust attack from Nesat who followed her. "tch!"
Claire commanded her Dragoons to fly around Nesat and then fired green energy beams down to the Hunter whose right eye flashes and her Hundred transforms into Dragoon Types that fired yellow beams to counterattack against the Perfect Queen.
"to think that there was another Hundred alike with Kisaragi Hayato's Mumei!" said Claire as she lands to the ground with a drag before she wields her Buster Cannon. "but! Yours pale in power against his!" the tip of the cannon expanded before charges with green static energy that unleashed a green energy blast against Nesat whose Hundred transforms into a Buster Cannon which she charged and fired a yellow energy blast in return.
Both attacks collided and cause a powerful explosion of a shockwave that made lots of smoke to fly in the air.
At another time, in the hidden hideout of Vitaly Tynanov.

"whatever it is, it is unleashing an energy reading similar to a Variant." Vitaly stated as she press a few more keys that shows another 3D image of some sort of dragon like monster. "seems that a new type of Savage had come to earth this time of the year."
"and it's just been found right now?" said Hayato as he taps a key that shows the image more closer on the monitor. "looks like it's something of a new Unknown Type." He cups his chin and inspects the image even more. "I never seen this one before."
"a new unknown type is bound to have a more unique core." Said Vitaly with a small smirk as she taps a few more keys and sends a message to an icon showing the Hunters at their location. The red hair types more on her keyboard and sees a map that shows her trio Slayers in a battle state condition. "seems that they are currently in battle with your team."
"Nesat and the others worked fast in thinning everyone out." said Hayato as he checks another map that has several red X symbols and ten green O symbol left on it. he clicked his tongue and looks away in an annoyance. "just when were about to go for the second round. I'm still hard for crying out loud."

"raaah!" Krovanh spins his Duo Valga and slams Liddy down to the ground in a rough attack.

"Liddy!" Erica cried out before she gasps while turning to the side and raise her Hundred armament to deflect a spinning chakram attack by Nakri who came and caught her thrown weapon that she begins to swing down to the glass wearing Slayer who grunted in defending against the attack.
"you think you got time to worry about your friend!?" Nakri exclaimed with a grin as she begins to spin and swing her Chakrams in a dance like movement. "you mocking us!?"
Erica began to clash against Nakri while Krovanh kicks Liddy away, the Slayer gone unconscious with her Hundred deactivating, the Hunter picking up the Variable Stone and then turns towards Nesat who is in a stalemate fight against Claire.
Dragoons flew around and each one firing an energy beam that gets countered by the other. Claire and Nesat were locked in a stalemate as the two decided to do a close quarter combat.
"ho~? not bad" said Krovanh as he sees how Claire sends a kick against Nesat who blocks and sends a punch to the Perfect Queen who catches and then turns before throwing the Female Hunter over her shoulder, but she quickly recovered and pushed each other away. "can't remember the last time nee-san being so serious."
Claire kicks and punches against Nesat who blocks and dodges before countering, both get locked in an elbow strike that they pushed against one another while glaring hard against each other.
"you! Do you work for Vitaly Tynanov!?" Claire exclaimed as she pushed Nesat away before she spins with a kick that the Hunter countered with the same move. The two began to kick against each other's attacks before getting into a power struggle. "answer me!"
"if we were, would that matter for someone who is going to lose?" Nesat replied in a rather monotone voice as she pushes Claire back before delivering a quick kick right to her gut.
"ugh!" Claire gets thrown back as she drags her feet on the ground before summoning her Dragoons to her side and then fired a blast of energy beams at Nesat who gets defended by Krovanh who spins his Duo Valga that deflects the attack. "what!?"
"you should be more understanding to Nee-san's words, Warslan' lapdog." Said Krovanh with a smirk as he spins and then pointed his weapon's blade towards Claire. "you're outmatched and outnumbered."
"even if I am alone, I!" Claire exclaimed as she summons her Buster Cannon into her arms.
"hey!" Nakri suddenly yelled out as Claire glance and her eyes widen while her mouth let out a small gasp because the Chakram wielding Slayer has Erica pinned down with one of her weapons held near her neck. "you really think you wanna use that cannon of yours with your friend like this!?"

"y-you!" Claire hardens her expression as she glance back at Krovanh who is smirking all smugly to her.

Claire hardens her gaze as she tensed up because she was in a bitter situation where she had to choose in continuing the fight or just surrender for her friends.
The Perfect Queen slowly lowers her Buster Cannon that disappears into green sparkles along with her Hundred.
"good choice." Said Krovanh as he slowly approaches Claire who held up her right hand that holds her deactivated Hundred's Variable Stone.
'for me to know defeat yet again…' Claire thought in pure disgrace as she failed to defeat her foe. she forms a grim expression while looking down. 'I am such a failure!'
"don't just give up, Claire!" a voice shouted out as hearing it cause Claire's eyes to snap open.
"that voice!" Claire gasps before she looks to the side and sees red sparkling flashes that came from the forest and a torrent of energy beams came flying pass her and straight towards the Hunters.
"what the!?" Krovanh raise an energy barrier before he and Nesat jumps back from the attack, Nakri doing the same as she let go of Erica.
Claire looks to the forest and soon sees Hayato coming out while wielding a pair of hi-tech revolver magnums in his grasp. the weapons were held with their barrel pointed at the Hunters.
"Kisaragi Hayato!" Claire gasps to see the Savage Killer return. "where..!?"
"I got sidetracked into a wild goose chase." Hayato replied as he keeps his attention to the Three Hunters. "these guys laid tracks that I followed to a dead end. Hate to say that it was embarrassing for me to get fooled." He hardens his grip on his weapon while his eyes glows and turns gold slitted. "after knowing it was a damn bait, I head back as fast as I could." he glance side to side in seeing the defeated forms of Liddy and the others. "sorry I was late."
Claire looks at Hayato for a moment before nodding in understanding.
"I accept your apology, but you can make it up by taking down these three." Said Claire as she equips her Hundred back on but instantly going into her Full Equip form. "listen, we need to capture them so that we can find out the location of Vitaly Tynanov."
"I know." said Hayato as his hi-tech revolvers glows and disperse into sparkles that forms into his armor that expands and parts of it extended thrusters. "just give me a minute."
"I don't know who you are, but…" Krovanh spoke out in a bit of an annoyance voice as he and his team got ready for a fight against Hayato. He spins his Duo Valga and then made a big smirk on his face. "but you are way over your head in thinking that you can take us down!"
"let's see about that." Said Hayato as he smirks before his helmet closes its face plate and the red visor glows while fire instantly bursts out of the many thrusters on his armor.
Loud noises came from the thrusters as Hayato instantly disappears in a red blur and then reappeared behind Krovanh and the others.
"f-fast!" Nakri exclaimed as she turns with her Chakram swung but she gets a powerful karate chop to the neck. "guah!" she then fell to the ground knocked out in an instant as her Hundred deactivates.
"Nakri!" Krovanh shouted before he swings his weapon at Hayato who draws out his Katana and blocks the attack then pushes back. "you!"
Hayato and Krovanh begins to get into a sword fight as sparks flies around each time the two clashed their weapon's blade made contact.
"K-Krovanh!" Nesat made a little to the obvious acting cry as her right eye glows and it was going to copy Hayato's Hundred, but Claire interfered by commanding her Dragoons to fly and rain energy beams down to the female hunter. "kuh!"
Nesat jumps around and then backflips away from Krovanh and Hayato before turning to look at Claire who wields a Buster Cannon.
"if you think I'm letting you copy Kisaragi Hayato's Hundred!" Claire cried out as her Buster Cannon extends its tip and charges green static energy. "you are surely mistaken!" she pulls the trigger and instantly fires a powerful blast straight towards Nesat who quickly raise both hands in creating a big energy barrier that clashed against the attack that caused an explosion.
"guuaahh!" Nesat cried out in the smoke of the explosion as she was sent flying before falling to the ground.
"Nesat!" Krovanh shouted as he looks to his down comrade before he turns and grunted when Hayato swings his katana down at his Duo Valga that clashed in power. "you!"
Hayato and Krovanh pushed their weapon's blade against one another as sparks flies around the two metal that scrapes against each other.
"your opponent is me!" Hayato exclaimed as he pushes Krovanh's Duo Valga back before unleashing a fury of sword swings at the Hunter who tries to block them all.
"ugghhh!" Krovanh growls as his eyes turns gold and glows. "YOU!"
"That's!" Claire cried out as Hayato and Krovanh clashed their blades and began to push against each other. "Kisaragi Hayato! Be careful! He's a Variant like you!"
"what!?" Hayato exclaimed before his eyes begin to glow gold under his red visor. "then!"
The two Slayers radiate in red and yellow aura that rages against one another as both continues to push their blades against each other but soon pushed away before flying around as balls of light that flew and clashed each time they get near.
Claire watches with wide eyes as both Hayato and Krovanh flew and then clashed their weapons' blade against each other in a power fight.
"raaaahhh!" "ooohh!" both let out their battle cry as they howled while their power fights against one another.
"go down!" Krovanh screams out while his Variant Power increases to the limits.
Hayato gritted his teeth as he is getting pushed back in the power fight.
'he's going too much with his power.' Hayato thought as he keeps on pushing against Krovanh before he suddenly pulls his blade back that causes the Hunter to move forward.
As if time had slowed down, Krovanh looks at Hayato whose Hundred disperses into red sparkles that soon reforms into a pair of hi-tech gauntlets with claws that he aimed right at the Hunter.
"sorry about this, Krovanh." Hayato spoke in a whisper as he smiles before a red glow flashes from an circular orb on the palm of his gauntlets.
"IMPACT!"
The Gauntlet flashes before it unleashed a powerful red energy shockwave that hits Krovanh dead straight.
"aggh!" Krovanh gasps in pain once as he coughs out blood before his Variant Power deactivates.
The Hunter falls and crashed to the ground as he is now unconscious with his Hundred armament disappearing upon his state.
Claire looks in surprise to the Hunter's defeat as she soon turns towards Hayato who came falling from the air and landed near Krovanh before going down to one knee.
"Kisaragi Hayato!" Claire cried out as she went to the man who slowly gets up while his Hundred disappears into sparkles. "that time! What did you do to him!?"
"relax, it's just a minor shockwave to his nervous systems." Said Hayato as he rubs a hand around his right forearm. "I had Mumei transforms into a Hundred similar to a Martial Arts type." He then looks at the unconscious Krovanh. "Afterwards I focused my Energy to the palm to release an energy shockwave that messes with that guy's senses for a moment before causing temporary nerve damage." He hisses a bit in pain while rolling around his right arm. "it's an attack that I don't really like using considering how much of a numbness it can cause to my arm. Damn it hurts so bad!"
"to think you could do such an attack…" Claire muttered out with an awe look at Hayato before she sighs with a smile. "but considering your background and everything, I shouldn't be surprised."
The two were thinking that their situation was over, but was proved wrong when the land suddenly rumbles and shakes uncontrollably.
"t-this is!? An earthquake!?" Claire stated in shock as she tried to balance herself.
"no…this is!" Hayato turns and looks to the lake a few miles from their location and his eyes turns into slits and glows yellowish gold. "from there!"
Claire turns and her eyes widen when a big geyser of water erupts from the lake and a large dragon shaped creature with glowing yellow line markings appear while spreading its insect like wings.
"is that….a Savage?" Claire spoke out in complete shock as she has never seen a Savage with such an appearance.
"an Unknown Type.." Hayato stated with a stern look on his face.
The Dragon like Savage ascends into the air before it roars and began to charge energy in its large opened jaw.
Seeing the action caused Hayato to reactivate his Hundred and change it into its Dragoon Form.
"Yata no Kagami! Engage!" the Savage Killer exclaimed as his Dragoons moved around before they dispersed and went into formation to create a large and wide energy barrier straight to where the Dragon Type Savage is located. "full power!"
The Savage roars before it unleashed a powerful yellow energy beam that split mid air and rain down beams of light straight upon Hayato's wide barrier.
"Claire! Get everyone away!" Hayato suddenly exclaimed out loud to Claire who made a surprise noise, the eastern man looks at her with a very serious face. "HURRY!"
The raining energy beams keep on bombarding Hayato's energy barrier before it loses power and shatters.
"GET DOWN!" Hayato shouted out as he pushed Claire away.
"ah!" Claire gasps before one of Hayato's Dragoon appears above her and expanded to create a dome like energy barrier that gets engulfed in the raining beam attack that caused multiple explosions upon the entire area.
The Savage roars as it stopped its attack and just growls while steam comes flying around its closed jaw.
Upon the bombarded area, Hayato's Dragoon that protected Claire disappears into sparkles allowing the Perfect Queen to sit up and looks around to see that the Savage Killer's Hundred had protected nearly everyone around her.
"this is.." Claire muttered as she sees Hayato's Dragoon disappearing into sparkles and leaves behind her unconscious teammates. She turns and her eyes widen while her mouth gasps in shock. "K-Kisaragi Hayato!"
Just a few feet from her and near a burn yet charred down tree, Hayato hovers over Nesat who is looking wide eyes as the eastern man dons his Hundred in its armor form that has large cracked pieces while blood was dripping down a wound on his head.
"H-Hayato…" Nesat whispers in shock as Hayato slowly gets up and soon falls to one knee while his Hundred disappears into sparkles revealing parts of his Variable suit has been torn and parts of his skin exposed and bloodily injured.
"Kisaragi Hayato!" Claire called out as she ran and kneels beside the injured Slayer. "what were you thinking!? Your Hundred is an offense type! Even if you are equipped with heavy armor, your body would still be injured from that blast!"
"I-I know!" Hayato grunted as he slowly gets back up while staggering a bit before he turns and glares at the Dragon Type Savage with his Hundred reactivating. "but now…we can attack while that thing is still recharging!"
"are you insane?! What can you do in your current condition?!" Claire exclaimed with an extremely baffled expression on her face. "you can barely stand let alone fight!" she then went near and grabs Hayato by the shoulder. "you are in no condition to fight, Kisaragi Hayato!"
"I can still fight even with an arm tied behind my back." Said Hayato as he push Claire's hand off his shoulder. He grabs hold of his katana's handle and draws the weapon out but winced when he wields it with both hands. The eastern Slayer began to walk straight for the location of the Dragon Type Savage. "i-I'll attack it from up close, give me support fire from your position."
"just how insane are you!?" Claire exclaimed as she went and got in front of Hayato. "you're too injured! Just stand down and let me fight instead! You can barely do anything in your condition! Just give.."
"I CAN'T GIVE UP!" Hayato suddenly shouted loudly as Claire was taken aback from his outburst. "you don't know a thing what those bastards can do!" the Savage Killer looks at the Perfect Queen and showed her his eyes that were glowing in a golden yellow color under his red visor. "those Savages can't be allowed to live! Not any single one of them can be allowed to live at all!"
"K-Kisaragi Hayato…" Claire muttered out in surprise to his outburst that made the man huff his breathing.
"during the Second Attack….those bastards took everything from me!" Hayato exclaimed while gritting his teeth hard as he remembers the time of the Savage attack at Gudenburg. "my mother! My father! My friends! They were all killed by them! Even my little sister! Karen had her childhood life robbed because of the damn virus those bastards brought to earth!" he looks up and glares angrily at the Dragon Type Savage that roars and began to charge energy in its open jaws. "because of them! I! I lost everything because of them! And that's why!" his body begins to flare with red energy as this made Claire stagger back. the eastern man grips hold of his weapon while his faceplate slides close his mouth that expands with a fang like design that glows gold while his eyes flashes under his visor. "I'LL ERADICATE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!"
Hayato roars out in power as his body illuminates in a red and golden light that burst like fire.
"Limit Out! OVERDRIVE!"
A burst of energy erupts from Hayato as Claire shields her eyes and face because the energy burst cause a powerful gust of air to blow out.
Hayato's energy burst nearly illuminates the night as many Slayers from remaining squadrons saw it and the Dragon Type Savage hovering above the lake.
A few seconds passes and the burst of energy died down for Claire to open her eyes and looks surprised as Hayato's Hundred took into a full hi-tech body armor form in the design of a dragon bushido armor with glowing red and yellow neon markings.
"K-K-Kisaragi…Hayato?" Claire muttered out as Hayato raises his head and the dragon shaped helmet he dons, has a pair of glowing red eyes flashing underneath.
The shoulder armor retracts and moved back to extend out thruster that ignites and unleash powerful burst of energy that instantly repulses the Savage Killer off the ground in an instant, allowing him to take into the air.
"Kisaragi Hayato!" Claire cried out as Hayato instantly flies for the Dragon Type Savage that roars before firing an energy stream attack at him.
Hayato flies as he sees the attack coming before it splits in mid air as dozens of energy beams came straight for him.
The Savage Killer sees the attack as his eyes sees detailed information being revealed in his visor. He raise a hand forward and sparkles gathered to create a round hi-tech gladiator shield that extends two parts to create a large energy barrier that instantly deflects the Savage's beam attacks.
Hayato soon pulls the shield away and repulses straight for the Savage that roars and swings its tail at the Slayer who ascends while sparkles gathered to create a long hi-tech javelin like lance that he pulls back and soon throws straight at the alien monster, but it clashes against a barrier field in the shape of a sphere.
"a Wide area barrier!?" Claire spoke out in surprise to see the shield guarding the Savage but she became more surprised when Hayato flew and delivers a diving kick on the thrown lance that extends and started to spin like a drill. "like Liddy's Midgardschlange!?"
"raaaah!" Hayato roared out as the spinning lance clashes against the barrier field that cracks and soon shatters.
The Dragon Type Savage roars as it charges energy in its large jaw, planning an attack that is aimed straight for Hayato.
Hayato sees its action and instantly pulls back his right hand that has red sparkles gathering in creating a copy of Erica's Everlasting Hundred equipment. He thrusts his hand forward and the equipment fires several energy chains that flew and instantly wraps around the Dragon Type Savage's opened jaws before clamping it shut then causes an inner explosion to the alien monster.
"he caused it to damage its inner!" Claire exclaimed in surprise as the Dragon Type Savage writhes in pain before it swings its tail at Hayato flies up to dodge but soon came down while wielding a hi-tech katana that forms into his left hand's grasp. he came down and swings the weapon that cuts the alien monster's tail, causing it to writhe in more pain. The twin tail blond slowly firms her gaze and nodded before she looks at the bewildered Nesat who is just watching Hayato fight the monster on his own. "you! Help him in his fight!"
"w-what?" Nesat turns with a surprised look at Claire who wields a Buster Cannon in her possession.
"I know that we were enemies, but we have a common foe and that is that Savage!" Claire exclaimed as she looks back at Nesat. "I promise you that I will give care to your injured teammates if you help me aid Kisaragi Hayato! Please! He cannot win this fight on his own!"
Nesat looks at Claire completely confused and bewildered for a minute but she soon nods and gets back up.
"Trace on." Nesat looks at Claire as her right eye glows and her Hundred activates before creating her own version of the Buster Cannon.
Claire nods to Nesat's action before she turns and looks at the Dragon Type Savage that is firing energy beams at Hayato who is flying around while wielding a pair of hi-tech gatling guns equipped to his arms. the Savage Killer fires rains of energy beams that cause small explosions upon the alien monster's hard skin surface.
Both Slayers readied their Buster Cannons that extends and began to charge energy.
Hayato flies around the Dragon Type Savage as he keeps on firing his Gatling guns at the monster before he turns and sees several bursts of energy blast came firing from the forest and hitting the alien monster from all sides.
"Kisaragi Hayato! Can you hear me!?" Claire's voice spoke out to Hayato from the comm lines as the Savage Killer looks at where the Perfect Queen is as she is currently doing rapid fires with her Buster Cannon, Nesat doing the same as she is. "I've managed to get into contact with the other Slayers in the vicinity! We are going to do a joint attack on the Savage and when it is weakened, you must finish it!"
"it's no use!" Hayato exclaimed. "this thing's hide is harder than any normal Savage! My katana can barely give it a scratch!"
"then aim for when it is attacking!" Claire replied. "any Savage needs to lower its defenses when it is attacking! Aim for that moment for a chance to defeat it!"
Hayato listens to her words as he thinks of her idea and nodded once.
"got it! keep it busy!" Hayato stated before he turns and did a spin turn to dodge a beam attack from the Dragon Type Savage as he soon flies up and ascends to the sky above. "I'm going to strike it from the sky! Its attack can't reach vertical areas!"
"understood!" Claire replied as she held up her Buster Cannon that begins to do a slow charge of energy. "to all Slayers! begin charge and fire upon the moment the Savage is about to attack! Give Kisaragi Hayato some support!"
"Roger!" The Slayers in other squadrons replied to her command as many long range type Slayers begin to charge energy into their weapon of choice that has their entire focus aimed at the Dragon Type Savage.
Hayato ascends to the sky before he stops and looks down to the location where the Savage is.
"one chance.." Hayato spoke out as he goes into an airborne drawing stance as sparkles began together around his hands and formed a neon red and yellow glowing hi-tech black sword that extend several parts of its blade before igniting in red flaming energy. "to end this!"
Hayato grips hold of his katana while the thrusters on his shoulder pads along with his back moves and began to gather sparkles of energy before releasing burst of flames that concentrates to the point it became blue.
The Savage Killer's eyes sees the visor showing an energy reading from the Savage that is charging up an attack in its large jaws as it was spiking by the passing second.
Hayato watches the energy spike as his eyes widen and soon tenses up when it reached a certain level.
"now!" Hayato exclaimed as his thrusters heats up red before it repulses the Savage Killer straight down.
"everyone! Fire!" Claire exclaimed as her buster Cannon along with Nesat's cannon charged up energy to the point that electrical static was dancing around the edge. The two pulled the trigger and their weapons instantly fired a burst of energy straight at the Dragon Type Savage that unleashes its own attack.
Claire and Nesat's attack clashes with the Savage's attack but the alien monster gets bombarded by the other Slayer's combined attack and cause it to get engulfed in multiple explosions while halting its attack.
"go! Kisaragi Hayato!" Claire screamed out as she keeps on pouring more energy to her attack to keep the Savage from going anywhere.
"Raaahhh!" Hayato roars out, the Savage Killer flying down from the sky like a red shooting star. He readies his weapon that flares with red energy. "TAKE THIS!" he swings the sword and flies past the Dragon Type Savage. "Ama no Murakumo!"
Hayato flies pass the Savage and dives into the water, the alien monster roars before it splits vertically in half and gushes of yellow blood to come spraying out of its body.
"we did it!" "alright!" "that thing is long gone!" Claire hears the cheers of the other Slayers in the comms as she smiles with a nod while her Buster Cannon disappears into sparkles.
The Dragon Type Savage's remains falls into the lake as it sinks into the water while oozing out its yellow alien blood.
"it's over…." Claire whispers with a small smile before she realizes that Hayato hasn't surfaced out of the water. Feeling worried, she placed a hand to her communicator. "Kisaragi Hayato? Kisaragi Hayato?! Please respond! are you alright?!"
Claire looks in worry as she believes that the final attack that Hayato had initiated was an attack that caused damage to his already wounded body leading to fatality.
"Kisaragi Hayato! Please respond!" Claire exclaimed on her comm before she sees a geyser of water erupting from the lake as she saw a silhouette that reveals itself to be Hayato who is hovering in the air. "Kisaragi Hayato!"
Claire smiles as she looks at Hayato who hovers in the air before he turns his head towards her direction and did a nod to which she replied with her own nod.
Upon the next day, after the mission in China was over. The team of Little Garden have boarded a military airplane that is heading straight for the floating continent.
In a living room area of the airplane, Claire can be seen sitting by a window as she holds a cup of tea that she soon raise and took a sip of the warm refreshment before turning to look at Erica who came near her.
"the Injured Slayers are recovering steadily, Claire-sama." Said Erica as their injured teammates are recouping in a medical room within the airplane. "even though they were injured badly, their wounds are only shallow."
"that is great to hear." Said Claire with a nod before she sighs and looks back to the window and the view outside. "but it would mean a level of difficulty for us to participate on the next mission." She close her eyes and took a quick sip of her tea. "it would seem that we would have to leave the rest of the missions to other Slayers from various countries."
"u-um, Claire-sama. About that…" Erica spoke while holding up a data tablet in her hand. "Kisaragi Hayato has demanded that he would leave on those mission solo."
"w-what did you say!?" Claire exclaimed with a completely confused and shocked expression on her face. "is that man insane!? In this mission, he nearly collapsed! Yet he's thinking of going to other missions!?"
"i-I tried to reason with him, but since he's Little Garden's current captain…i.." Erica replied a bit scared while blinking twice.
"even if he is the captain, there is a limit to everything!" Claire exclaimed before she hears a door sliding open and she soon turns then made a noise because it was Hayato who came in. "Kisaragi Hayato!"
"don't be so angry to your friend." Said Hayato as he is wearing a simple white shirt and black sport jeans. The man having a towel around his neck that he is using to dry his wet hair because he had just taken a shower in the airplane. "it's my decision and I just asked her to relay my decision to you."
"and I'm replying with a denial!" Claire exclaimed as she gets up her seat while putting away her cup of tea to a table. She swings a hand to the side. "you may be the Savage Killer, but you're still human! Going on multiple missions while having injuries is not something that can be said sane!"
"the heck are you saying?" Hayato replied with an eyebrow raised. "back then after the Second Attack, I always get sent to multiple missions for Savage Extermination." He shakes the towel on his head before throwing it to a chair nearby. "I was always at death's door at those times, this is nothing of a difference."
"just how can you be so calm!?" Claire exclaimed. "you nearly got killed fighting that unknown Type Savage and yet you're stil-!?" the Perfect Queen was cut off in her sentence as Hayato place a hand on her lips. "huh?"
"you can rant all you want to me." Hayato stated while having a serious expression on his face. "whether I lose a hand or a leg, it won't stop me from going on missions to kill Savage." He pulls down his finger and walked to a nearby small fridge that he opens then takes out an energy drink. "there are many Slayers trained in various countries, but do they have my level of experience against the Savage?" he opens the cap and took a quick gulp of the drink before turning to look at Claire. "do they, Claire?"
"w-well…." Claire replied while having an unsure expression. "the American Slayers are strong and they're well equipped…"
"but they're not well trained enough." Said Hayato as he went near Claire. "this is why I am always needed. I am the Savage Killer and it's my job to kill Savages while also teaching Slayers who will become stronger in order to protect humanity from the alien bastards." His eyes turns gold slits and glows menacingly for a second. "do you understand that, Claire?"
Claire looks at Hayato for a moment before she looks down and frowns a bit.
"i-I understand…" Claire replied in a whisper while looking like a little girl being scolded by her parent.
Hayato looks at Claire for a moment before he smiles and sighs.
"I understand why you don't want me to go." Hayato stated as he raise a hand and gently cups Claire's right cheek, lifting it up so that he could see her face. "you're worried that I get myself killed, right?" he tilts his head and chuckles a bit. "don't worry, I won't get myself killed. I have to stay alive cause if I die, Karen will cry nonstop and so will many of my friends." He then smiles before pecking the blonde's forehead. "and I have to stay alive if I want to marry my fiancé who is you, right?"
Claire's face turns red as steam comes off her head.
"don't worry, I'll be okay, right?" said Hayato with a grin before he patted Claire's head a few times then turns to walk to the door. "besides, there are more important things to be paid attention to."
"more important things?" Erica muttered out in confusion. "what do you mean?"
"the Hunters." Hayato replied as he press a button to make the metal door slide open before he turns to look at the two girls. "we got to get them to Little Garden for Interrogation, remember?"
"r-right…" Claire muttered out while calming herself, the blonde remembering that the Hunters are from a non government organization that could be of many black listed targets. "we still don't know who they work for."
"but isn't it dangerous?" Erica asked. "I mean, there could be a number of risks if we bring them to Little Garden."
"I know." Hayato replied before he takes another sip of his energy drink. He sighs once and takes out two yellow variable stones. "don't worry, I took their Variable Stones away along with putting shock collars on their necks." He pocketed the stones and drank his energy drink till it was empty before throwing the trash to a bin nearby. "we just have to be attentive in transporting them to Little Garden where we will try to earn their trust first so that they will open up to us."
"but still…!" Erica cried out, thinking that it could lead to danger for the floating nation.
"I'll take responsibility for it." Hayato stated as he turns to look at Erica. "even if they are our enemies last night, they are still people, humans." He waves a hand to the side. "we can't treat them like they are Savages, I won't allow it. understand?"
Erica looks at Hayato for a moment before she turns to look at Claire who slowly nods, agreeing with the eastern man's plan that made her sigh in defeat before turning to nod at the man.
"I understand.." Erica nods. "I'll contact Little Garden to make preparations for their transfer."
Hayato nods before he turns and walks through the doorway that closes when he enters.
At one part of the airplane, Hayato walks into his temporary room as he closed the door and locks it.
"because they are humans….huh?" Vitaly's voice spoke out a bit lowly as the red hair scientist's voice is coming from Hayato's PDA that is left on a table nearby. "sounds a bit of a cliché, don't you think?"
"cliché as it sounds, it is a word that I rarely use." Said Hayato as he walks to the table and picks up the piece of electronic into his grasp. "besides, it got the job done with getting those two to agree in transferring Nesat and the others to Little Garden.
"all accordingly to plan, is it?" Vitaly asks before chuckling. "I am somehow amazed and frightened by your strategic thinking, Boy." Rustling noises is heard as it sounds like fabric of some sort. "from the first day you entered Little Garden to the deception into the group…I must say that I am scared in a way."
"it's nothing more than strategizing, Vitaly." Hayato replied as he went and sat down on his bed. "on another note, how did the Core you retrieve go for you?"
"it is certainly unique in many ways but it is less the same than any ordinary one." Vitaly replied while small noises of keyboard typing could be heard with her voice. "still, it's a Core from a new Type of Savage that can be of certain use. I'm still analyzing the fragments that you oh so carelessly cut perfectly in half."
"I do not do things carelessly." Hayato stated.
Flashback
On the previous battle the night before, Hayato remains in the lake's water as the Savage Killer floats and then swims for the Dragon Type Savage's remains that is sinking while polluting the water with its yellow blood.
Hayato went to the dead remains as he picks out the perfectly vertical sliced Core that he examines for a moment with his visor that glows because it is scanning the alien like organ before it beeps and the man looks to the side to see some sort of underwater mechanical probe in the shape of a large tadpole but it looks nearly like a Savage.
The Savage Killer looks unfazed by the mechanical creature as it opens its mouth, and he placed the Core inside it.
Hayato now watches the probe swim away before he looks to the side and place a hand to the side of his helmet because Claire is calling out to him. he soon looks up and flies to the surface where everything soon went white.
flashback
"whatever." Said Vitaly as she let out a sigh. "I'll be processing the Core for the plan, you do your best in keeping your alliance with Little Garden till the right time comes, Hayato."
"I know." Hayato replied. "you also need to do your best to rest for your body, Vitaly." He smiles as he taps his PDA a few times to see the ultrasonic picture of his infant child. "Alina would be very sad if her mommy becomes a workaholic."
"very funny." Vitaly giggles in response before sighing. "do your best for us, Hayato. Ensure that you will rule over Little Garden as its true king."
"yeah, you can count on it." said Hayato before his eyes turns gold slitted and glowed menacingly. "I promise with my life."
