Special OVA: Chapter 92 - Vendetta
[KSK Headquarters - Calw, Baden - Württemberg, Germany]
"So where is he?" Erika asked
(One of the personnel then displayed a location in the big screen in front of them and what they saw was a map of a country)
"South Korea." Alonso said
"Beside the border of North and South Korea to be exact." Sakurai said
"What the hell is he doing there?"
"We were tracking two members of Pandora's High Table in Seoul when they suddenly decided to rest in this hotel." Nana mentioned
(A visual of the hotel was shown on the big screen as part of their surveillance)
"Lt. Col. Bong-Cha's team was about to storm the place but was stopped after the recon team saw this." Alonso said
(The big screen zoomed in on one of the windows and saw four people behind it. Two of which were members of Pandora's High Table and the other two were wearing military gear. The screen zoomed in again on one of the faces of the ones wearing the military gear and it was confirmed to be Bryan Williams a.k.a "Phantom". The other person was someone that had bandages all over his face. The system was not able to confirm his identity since the bandages was covering his entire face)
"Who's the other guy?" Erika asked
"Do we have info on that man?" Alonso asked
"Unfortunately we don't sir.." Sakurai said
"We do.." a sudden voice said
(On one of the big screens a call connected and it was Lt. Col. Bong-Cha the commander of South Korean Special Forces)
"Glad you could join us, Miss Bong-Cha!"
"Happy to be here Gero-shi!"
"What can you say about this guy?"
"That would be one of North Korea's ex-special forces member Ong Jin-Ho a.k.a Faceless. He was once a South Korean but defected to the other side. After being discharged he has been on Pandora's payroll ever since. As far as we know he is the second-in-command of Pandora's ground forces. He is a master or infiltration and escape."
"Those two Pandora High Table members are that important for them to send both Phantom and Faceless as escorts?!" Sakurai reacted
"So it seems.." Bong-Cha said
"Connect me to the Tank Meisters now and to my father in China!"
(The screen then connected a call to the tank meisters and to Tsuneo who was in China)
"Hello my son! How are you?"
"I'm good. How are things there in china?"
"Making progress with General Lin Yu Jie together with the PLA but since China is so big it might take longer than expected." Tsuneo said
"I called you today to inform you that we have four big fishes in a barrel located in Korea. Two Pandora High Table members and the commander and vice commander of Pandora's ground forces, Phantom and Faceless."
"Phantom?! My son you know as well as I do that it's a trap to lure you out right?" Tsuneo warned
"I know that very well but this is the only chance we'll be able to get them. If they make it across the border then they are as good as gone. If we kill those two then Pandora's forces will collapse without a doubt!"
"That's the same for us! If we lose you then the this war is as good as lost! It's just too risky! I won't allow it!" Tsuneo shouted
"I'm well aware of the risks. Pandora knows it as well so they won't expect this coming. Just so you know I didn't call you all to get permission. This will be a joint operation between KSK, ROK and RYOBU. I'll inform you all of our success."
"WAIT GERO-"
(The connection was cut off as Tsuneo shouted. Everyone was just staring at Gero not because they were worried but they were all now waiting for his orders)
"Alright, we don't have a lot of time! I'll explain the mission details now!"
"Roger!" everyone responded
"Also connect me with a call to North Korea's Supreme Leader.."
(The operation was tomorrow so Gero and Erika went home first to get a good night's rest. Even though they were living together they still had separate rooms. As they lay in their beds both of them felt anxious and a little bit scared. This will be Erika's first mission together with Gero so she has so many things on her mind. After rolling on her bed a lot of times she stood up and walked towards Gero's room and knock)
"G-Gero?"
"Erika? What's wrong?"
"N-Nothing..can I come in?"
"Sure.."
(Erika then entered the room while hugging her pillow. Gero can see that she was scared and troubled)
"Can I sleep with you?" Erika asked softly
"Of course.."
"Don't get any ideas alright?!"
"Yes yes.."
(Erika then laid beside Gero on the bed facing the opposite direction. The night was cold but she could feel Gero's warmth through the sheets. It was so quiet that they both could hear their their own hearts beat for each other)
"Are you scared?"
"A little.." Erika answered
"Can you face this way?"
(Erika then slowly turned her body to face Gero on the bed. He gently places his hand on her face to comfort her and to erase her anxiety even for a little bit)
"You're going to be just fine, my love. I didn't train you for a year so that you would lose. I have taught you everything that I learned from the Nishizumi Style and you have mastered every single one of them in just a year. You're basically a female version of me now!"
"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"No. It's supposed to make you feel more confident about yourself. You were already a badass before I met you, now you're even more of a badass!"
"I don't know if I'm ready to take a life.."
"You don't need to, I taught you how to render a person immobile by aiming for his limbs. You can also knock them out by using your hand-to-hand combat and the tranquilizer gun. You just have to make them unable to fight and the rest of the team will handle it. You got this!"
"We could die tomorrow..in a country far away from home.."
"I won't let you die Erika! I'll protect you no matter what."
"I'll protect you as well Gero..we'll get through this!"
(As their love for each other overflowed they found themselves getting closer to each other. They gave each other a warm hug under the coldness of the night, then slowly the hug turned into a kiss. Holding each other tightly as the kisses went from passionate to torrid kissing. After a while they each took a breath of air and stared at each other's eyes only to be mesmerized all over again)
"You are so beautiful Erika.."
"Geez..how many times have you said that already?" Erika blushed
"I've lost count already but I'll keep on saying it as much as you want.."
"I love you so much Nishizumi Gero.."
"Itzumi Erika, I love you with everything that I have.."
"Hehe..shut up my cute bakatora..hurry up and make me your woman already.."
(And with that, for the very first time in their relationship, Erika and Gero connected both emotionally and physically)
[Seoul, Korea - Three Hours Before the Mission]
"Nice to finally meet you in the flesh Gero-shi!" Bong-Cha said
"You too, Lt. Col. Bong-Cha! We'll be relying on you and your team later!"
"Of course! Oh my I'm sorry I didn't notice you were also here Erika-shi!"
"Nice to meet you as well, Lt. Colonel!" Erika smiled
(While they were talking with each other, Sakurai and Nana were looking at Erika from afar and noticed that she was somehow shining and a lot more beautiful than before. They quickly realized that something must've happened between her and Gero so they decided to interrogate her)
"Erika-sama! Can we borrow you for a minute?" Sakurai asked
"Sure! What is it?" Erika answered
"This might be a little crossing the line but..did something happen between you and the young master?" Nana asked
(They were expecting Erika to get all red and embarrassed like she always does but this time it was different. She gave them a beautiful and proud smile then answered with her head up high)
"Yeah..we held each other for the first time last night.."
"I see..I'm very happy for you both!" Sakurai smiled
"Our young master is a little crazy at times but please take care of him Erika-sama!"
"Yes! You can leave it all to me!" Erika smiled
(They all then gathered into the war room to have a final discussion of their plan. Present in the room was Gero, Erika, Sakurai, Nana, Alonso, Bong-Cha and the South Korean Special Forces ROK)
"Good, it looks like everyone is here. Listen up properly because I won't repeat the things I say after I've said it.."
"Excuse me but who are you?" a man asked
"I'm Captain Gero of RYOBU and I'll be leading this mission.."
"Commander Bong-Cha! Why is RYOBU leading this operation? Shouldn't it be us since it's in our country?" Lt. Eom Tae asked
"Normally it should be us but Captain Gero is the better one to lead than me this time." Bong-Cha said
"But ma'am!"
"That's enough Eom, this is RYOBU's Operation so it should be them taking the lead! Forgive my subordinate's rudeness Captain Gero. I'm Captain Eun Jung of ROK and we'll be assisting you tonight."
"Glad to have you aboard, captain. If there are no more complaints I'll be explaining the mission now."
(Gero then displayed the border of South Korea and North Korea on the screen with four dots on different locations. He also displayed the photos of the two members of Pandora together with Phantom and Faceless)
"These are our primary targets. If you see these three you may kill or capture them. I don't care. But this one, this guy is called Phantom, and I have unfinished business with this one so none of you are to interfere. He's my prey. Understood?"
"Understood!"
(Everyone responded except for the Lieutenant that complained earlier)
"Based on your intelligence they will be attempting to cross the border through one of these four tunnels. Commander Bong-Cha, coordinate with the local police and have them set up checkpoints on all tunnels."
"Roger that!" Bong-Cha answered
"Col. Alonso, have your men set up ambush points after every checkpoint. When the local police confirm our targets they'll give you the heads up."
"Jawohl sir Gero!" Alonso answered
"As soon as we get a positive I.D. on the targets, my team and ROK will move in. If they manage to cross that border then we will never have an opportunity like this ever again. That's all, any questions?"
"What about North Korea? What if they intervene?" Cpt. Eun Jung asked
"Don't worry about them. As long as we don't cross that border they have nothing to do with us. If they cross then it's their fault and you may fire if fired upon."
"Copy that!"
"Anything else?"
"I have one, you said unfinished business? What is this a personal vendetta?" the lieutenant asked
"That's right.."
"You hear that commander? All the more reason we can't have this guy lead us!"
"Hey you.." Erika said
"What?"
(When the lieutenant looked towards Erika he was immediately consumed by fear as he saw her eyes without light and she was emitting so much killing intent)
"You've done nothing but complain ever since you got here..just shut up and follow his orders..understood?" Erika said
"W-Who the hell do you think you are?!" the lieutenant screamed
"Stand down! That's an order!" Bong-Cha shouted
"No commander, I have to let them have a piece of my mind! He plans to lead this personal vendetta of his and have us get caught in the middle of it! He says this is a joint operation but his team only has four members and not to mention three are women!" Lt. Eom Tae complained
"So what if we're women? We'll probably do an even better job than you guys.." Sakurai bragged
"I'll have you know that your commanding officer is also a woman so use your brain before you speak." Nana said
(The whole room was about to erupt into a fight while Gero was just chill and fixing the paperwork.)
"Captain Gero! Please help us calm this situation down!" Cpt. Eun Jung pleaded
"Well since everyone's heated up, let's have their fists do the talking shall we?"
"Hah?"
"Erika, want to blow off some steam? These guys will make the perfect punching bags for you!"
"Really?! Can I really test out what I learned?!" Erika was excited
"Yeah go for it, just don't break their bones since we need them for the mission.."
"Yay! This is going to be fun!"
"Sakurai, can you please double check the equipment together with Nana. I want to make sure everything is ready."
"Yes young master!" Sakurai saluted
"Ehh..too bad I won't get to see them getting their asses whooped.." Nana chuckled
"What?! Just her? Gero-shi with all due respect I think this is too much for Ms. Erika! These men have special forces training and have first hand experience in action!" Bong-Cha said
"I know that commander, that's why it's the perfect playground for Erika.."
"Play ground?"
"Watch.."
"I'm going to make you eat your words!" Lt. Eom Tae shouted
(Erika then slowly transitioned her body into her fighting form. Alonso was quite intrigued that her form is exactly the same as Gero's form when fighting. Eom Tao blinked once and Erika was no longer in front of him but on his right side already. He wasn't expecting this and was frozen in disbelief)
"Eh? How could she-"
(She moved too fast for him and she immediately landed a big punch on his right cheek sending him to the other side of the room. Needless to say it was a one punch knockout leaving the other members baffled of the situation)
"Oh? Took you only one punch? Weakling.." Erika said as she cracked her knuckles
"Nice punch my love!"
"Captain Gero, who is that woman?" Cpt. Eun Jung asked
"That is Itsumi Erika, a normal college girl and I guess you could say she's my disciple as well.."
"So you taught her how to fight?"
"Yeah..so what about you captain Eun Jung? Don't you want to join in on them?"
"I think I'll pass.."
(The other South Korean Special Forces then attempted to spar with Erika as well but they all ended up losing to her straight away. They threw punches but were countered by Erika with her own punches. They all tried to kick her but instead got sent flying across the room like a doll. The scary part about it is Erika was smiling the entire time she was fighting against special forces operatives. All of them were skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat but Erika was leagues above them)
"How long have you been teaching her?" Bong-Cha asked
"A year?"
"This is already how strong and dangerous she is after a year?!" Bong-Cha thought to herself
"I'm so excited how strong she will be after two more years! She probably can handle a hundred Augs all by herself when that day arrives!"
"Scary..this just made me realize that Erika-shi is someone I don't want to piss off.." Bong-Cha said
"Out of curiosity, what kind of training did you give her?" Cpt. Eun Jung asked
"Oh it's actually a simple training menu! She has one goal. And that's to kill me."
(Eun Jung and Bong-Cha were surprised at how Gero can say those words with a smile on his face)
"To kill you?!" they reacted
"Yeah. If she knows how to kill me then she can kill anybody. Simple but effective. Right?"
(Both of them didn't know how to react to what he said but they had the same thought about Erika and Gero)
"Those two are insane!" Eun Jung and Bong-Cha thought to themselves
"I guess that's enough! Come on Erika let them rest!"
"Okay! How did I do?" Erika asked
"You were perfect of course!"
(Gero gave Erika a pat on the head showing his affection and how proud he was of her. They were amazed at how fast Erika could go from an unstoppable killing machine to a normal girl in a second just by talking to Gero.)
"We'll be moving out in three hours! Get some rest and double check your equipment!"
"Roger!" everyone responded
"Oh and can some take the lieutenant to a medic? He's going to need some ice on his cheek.." Erika said
[Three Hours later..]
(Alonso and Bong-Cha were on a Kawasaki-C2 plane flying overhead the border providing over-watch)
"All checkpoints respond! What's your situation?" Bon-Cha radioed
[South Korean - North Korean Border Tunnel #1]
"This is Checkpoint #1, no sign of the targets. Over"
[South Korean - North Korean Border Tunnel #2]
"All clear here at Checkpoint #2. Over"
[South Korean - North Korean Border Tunnel #3]
"Still good at Checkpoint #3. Over"
[South Korean - North Korean Border Tunnel #4]
"Checkpoint #4, nothing out of the ordinary. Over"
"Understood. All units continue being alert!" Alonso radioed
"Something's wrong, we should've seen the targets by now.." Bong-Cha said
"Don't worry, everything's going according to plan.." Alonso smiled
"It is?"
"Sir Gero is always multiple steps ahead of the enemy. He will without a doubt successfully hunt down his prey."
[Ganghwa Island - Near the North Korean Border]
(As KSK was guarding the four tunnels at the border, Phantom and the others took an entirely different route West of the other tunnels where nobody was guarding. They had an entire convoy of five trucks filled with Augs armed to the teeth. Phantom was driving at the front with a jeep while Faceless was driving also a jeep at the back of the convoy. The two High Table members was with Phantom at the front)
"We're near the North Korean border. All we have to do is cross that bridge." Phantom said
"Thank you Phantom.." the High Table member said
"Don't thank me just yet.."
"I'll accept my payment as thanks though!" Faceless radioed
"How are things back there?" Phantom asked
"All clear boss..looks like the trap didn't work huh?"
"Maybe..keep alert-"
(All of a sudden the bridge that they were supposed to cross exploded right in front of them forcing the convey into a stop)
"W-W-What the hell happened?!" the High Table member reacted
"The bridge! It's gone!" the other member said
(A rocket then suddenly hit the first truck of the convoy killing all twenty-two of the Augs inside it)
"Damn it! Faceless reverse now!" Phantom ordered
"You got it boss!"
(Just as Faceless reversed his jeep a rocket was shot from behind his vehicle. He quickly turned the wheel and evaded the rocket but then the truck in front of his jeep got a direct hit. The truck immediately exploded killing all of the Augs on it as well.)
"Fuck! They're behind us as well!" Faceless shouted
"Tsk..we've been fooled.."
"That's right Phantom! All this time you all have been dancing on top of my palm!"
(They heard Gero's voice all of a sudden in front of them. Phantom looked towards the source of the voice and saw Gero walking in front of them holding a Katana. He was blocking the road while walking away from the burning bridge)
"I've finally found you, TONIGHT YOU WILL DIE BY MY HANDS! PHAAANTOOOOM!"
"Big words, come at me and try!" Phantom said
"Operation start! All units open fire!" Erika ordered
(On the left side of the road the South Korean Special Forces opened fire onto the trucks while on the right side the KSK opened fire as well. The Augs were caught in the middle of a crossfire and were being showered with bullets)
"We're surrounded! What do we do?!" the High Table member reacted
"Shut up and hide. Faceless take command of the Augs." Phantom said
"All Augs return fire! Kill them all!" Faceless ordered
(Thus the back and forth shooting from both sides continued. The Augs were taking casualties left and right as they were also being sniped by Sakurai. The wounded of KSK and ROK were being treated by Nana)
"Keep up the fire! We have the advantage!" Cpt. Eun Jung ordered
"Captain! I have a visual on faceless!" Lt. Eom Tae informed
"He's mine!" Erika radioed
(All of them then witnessed an unbelievable sight that they would remember. Erika rushed towards the position of the Augs with a tranquilizer pistol and a short katana called a wakizashi. She moved just like Gero dodging all the shots then jumped on an Aug stabbing him through the leg then shot three times with a tranquilizer dart on the Aug's neck with precision. Erika then rushed towards the location of Faceless in an attempt to subdue him)
"My God..she's more terrifying than I thought she could be.." Lt. Eom Tae
"All units give Erika-sama cover fire!" Cpt. Eun Jung ordered
"Go Erika-sama! I got your back!" Sakurai shouted
(Erika was unstoppable and was plowing through the Augs without problems. It wasn't long before she arrived at Faceless' location. She aimed for his neck but Faceless was able to block with his knife. He countered with an upwards kick that Erika cleanly dodged then as she evaded the kick she shot four tranquilizer rounds towards Faceless' chest but was block by body armor. Erika made a big swing aiming for Faceless' head. He raised his knife in an attempt to block her attack but it was a feint and he felt intense pain on his right chest and noticed that Erika's kick landed a direct hit on him. This sent him flying across the road and slamming onto the side of a truck. He then started to cough out blood and was in agony for the kick was so fast and powerful)
"Nice to meet you Pandora's second-in-command. I have been tasked of taking or capturing your life!" Erika smiled
"You bitch..." Faceless said
"The human body has 24 ribs and I just broke 4 of your with that kick I gave you. You ok?"
"I'll kill you and scrape your face off!
"Come at me..I'll strip those bandages off your face for good this time.." Erika gave an evil smiled
(Erika and Faceless then fought each other intensely at close quarters. On the other side of the convoy Gero and Phantom were about to face off in their own way. Gero went into a stance with his katana while Phantom brought out his Bowie Knife which was as big as his forearm)
"Before we start killing each other, how about we agree that the loser gets to have a chance to say their final words before they die? How's that?" Phantom said
"Shut up.."
"Might as well get five minutes to think of your last words there.." Phantom taunted
"I said shut the fuck up!"
(Gero then rushed towards Phantom with his katana and swung downwards but Phantom blocked it with his Bowie knife. The swing was so heavy that it made Phantom move backwards. Gero then followed up with a fast knee strike that hit Phantom on the chest that dealt damage to him but Phantom was able to land a punch on Gero's face as well. Gero then followed up with a kick to his head sending him to the side of the road.)
"This is good, you're fast, very fast. Not to mention the strength to kill. If you kicked a normal person with that leg just now his neck would've snapped.." Phantom said
"..."
"Not in the mood to talk are we?"
(Gero didn't respond to Phantom's words because it was just him buying some time and Gero knew about it. In terms of raw strength and skill both of them were evenly matched.)
"Even though I'm using Hunter's Domain and Murderous Impulse on him he hasn't slowed down one bit.."
"Come at me White Tiger! Let's finish this!"
(Both of them then exchanged blows again with all they had. Gero was cut on his right shoulder while Phantom's leg was sliced by the katana. They then both shot at each other with their pistols landing two shots each on their stomachs but the kevlar caught it so it didn't penetrate. At this point they have run out of bullets and are now sticking to their melee weapons. Phantom was by far the strongest that Gero has ever fought to the point of exhaustion and wounds.)
"What's wrong? Aren't you going to use Sacred Possession or whatever the hell it's called?" Phantom taunted
"I don't need to use it against you..I can kill you without it.."
"Really now? I'm still alive and standing so I call bullshit on that statement.."
(Back at the convoy where Erika and Faceless were fighting, things were somehow one sided in favor of Erika. At this time Faceless was out of breath and had stab wounds all over his body as well as cut wounds.)
"What? Is this only what you've got?" Erika asked
"S-Shut up! Why am I so out of breath..it's not supposed to be like this!" Faceless complained
"Yeah about that..since you haven't noticed, let me explain to you why you're so out of breath. Remember the kick I gave you earlier to your chest?"
"W-What do you mean?"
"You might want to take a look at your chest.."
(Faceless then slowly removed his kevlar vest and had a good look on his chest. He was shocked that his chest was bluish and he started coughing more.)
"W-What did you do to me?!" Faceless shouted
"That kick wasn't just my way of toying with you. Those broken ribs were intentional in order to puncture your lungs. What you're experiencing is called a Pneumothorax. Due to the adrenaline pumping through your entire body it wouldn't be possible for you to notice it right away." Erika smiled
(At this point Faceless was completely defeated and his will was crushed easily by Erika. As he looked at her cold blue eyes he was being overwhelmed with fear and his body shook uncontrollably)
"The moment we crossed paths I already aimed to wear you down and slowly kill you..you may be strong but I'm smarter..you lose.." Erika said
"Y-YOU B-BIIITCH!" Faceless shouted
(He lunged forward in his last attempt to kill Erika but she just easily dodged again then immediately did a fast roundhouse kick to Faceless' head knocking him unconscious. The bandages on his face fell off due to the impact and revealed his face. The skin was burned off and all Erika could see was the muscle underneath the skin. She quickly cuffed his hands and laid him facing the floor after which shot two tranquilizer darts on his neck)
"All units, Faceless has been captured..finish off the remaining Augs!" Erika ordered
"Roger!" everyone responded
(Gero then heard the transmission for Erika and gave a smile on his face)
"What are you smiling about?" Phantom asked
"Oh sorry..I just received word that my second-in-command just captured your second-in-command so it just made me happy.."
"No way..Faceless was beaten? He may be an idiot but he's still ex-special forces!" Phantom was in disbelief
(Gero did not miss this split second of distraction and rushed with insane speed towards Phantom. Gero targeted the weak part of the kevlar and pierced through Phantom's body inflicting serious damage to him. Gero thought it was over but Phantom was still alive and suddenly grabbed his head firmly. Phantom then did a very powerful headbutt onto Gero and inflicted a massive wound on his forehead. He used his leg and kicked Phantom on the stomach then jumped backwards pulling the katana from his body to gain distance. Both of them were bleeding badly but Gero incurred a concussion from that headbutt)
"T-This is bad..my consciousness is fading..my vision is blurry.."
"What did you say to me a while ago? Tonight I will die by your hands?" Phantom said
(Phantom then was slowly walking towards Gero who was still concussed from the wound he attained. He couldn't muster enough strength to lift his sword much less stand up. Phantom was now standing in front of Gero and raised his hand holding the Bowie Knife getting ready to stab Gero on the head)
"Aren't you happy?" Phantom asked
"Why is that?"
"Right now, you are about to be killed by the same knife that took your foster father's life.." Phantom smiled
(Just as Phantom was about to bury his knife on Gero's head, An absurd amount of aura suddenly emerged from Gero, his eyes glowed golden yellow, his reflexes sharpened and before Phantom could react Gero was already behind him. During his movement, Gero managed to cut both Phantom's arms clean off. The arms then fall to the ground and a big pool of blood starts to pile up under his feet. Phantom slowly turns around to look at Gero just before losing all his strength to stand Gero stabbed him with his own bowie knife on his stomach.)
"Aren't you happy? Being stabbed by your own knife?"
"Not..really.." Phantom answers painfully
(Gero looks at him with no remorse and with just pure satisfaction twists the knife inside his stomach. As Phantom knelt in front of Gero in pain he stared at his golden eyes and smiled.)
"So that's the so-called Sacred Eyes..in the end I was able to force you to use Sacred Possession..so it's a win for me..with that damaged brain of yours you won't last until morning.." Phantom said
"And you won't last the next few minutes so let's hear your final words just as you offered a while ago shall we?"
"I guess I do owe you that..you see..I have a student..one you'd call a disciple.." Phantom said
"You? Teaching others? That's a load of crap.."
"I said the same thing to myself..I've been teaching that kid even before I knew about you..if by some miracle your survive and is still kicking by tomorrow..then it'll be only a matter of time before you meet my disciple..and when the two of you meet..please don't kill her.." Phantom begged
(Gero couldn't comprehend what he was listening to for it could be some kind of trick for all he knew. However the look on Phantom's eyes as he pleaded showed Gero that he was sincere and was not bluffing at all and that made Gero sick to his stomach. The fact that this man in front of him, the man that killed his foster father and the man he was about to kill still had a bit of humanity left in him. For now he decided to ignore all of it so he raised his sword and aimed for his neck.)
"Is that all?"
"Yeah..I'll see you in hell.."
(Gero spoke no more and with one swift wing of his katana sliced through Phantom's neck, completely decapitating him. As his head rolled on the ground Gero looked at the starry sky and let out a sign of relief that he was able to avenge his step father.)
"All units, Phantom has been eliminated, I repeat Phantom has been eliminated! Mission accomplished!"
"Fuck yeah!" Sakurai cheered
(The battle has now stopped with all of the Augs being killed by KSK and ROK. The two members of Pandora's High Table were captured and the mission was over. Gero then deactivated Sacred Possession but he knew his condition was going to worsen. Since he used Sacred Possession his brain can no longer take the pressure and will soon die. With his little strength left he walked towards the convoy to find Erika.)
"Gero!" Erika called out
"Good job on taking down Faceless my love, where is he?"
"He's over here-eh?"
(Erika quickly realized that the worst had happened. When she looked at where Faceless' body should've been she was shocked to see that it wasn't there and he managed to get out of the handcuffs. She then remembered that Faceless was a master of escaped and that scared her because those tranquilizing darts were enough to put an elephant to sleep and he shot two into faceless and yet he still managed to escape. She looked again towards Gero to warn him but she saw Faceless already behind Gero holding two grenades in each hand. Gero had no more strength to sense Faceless so he has no idea what's going to happen. In Erika's mind she was thinking of a lot of possible ways to save Gero)
"Should I shoot?! No, I have no more ammo! Should I pick up another weapon? No, that would be too late! Should I call for help?! No, there's no time! Damn it! What should I do?!" Erika said in her mind
(Before Erika could find the best answer she didn't realize her body was already on the move and running towards them. Faceless was about to grab Gero but Erika was able to close the distance she was comfortable with and threw her wakizashi with amazing accuracy and penetrated Faceless' forehead killing him instantly. But Erika noticed too late that he had already pulled the pin on the grenade and she new that only a few seconds were left before it blows)
"GERO!"
"Erika..?"
(Gero extended his hand to grab a hold of Erika's then as they held each other's hand Erika suddenly tugged Gero and pulled him away from the radius of the explosion. She then grabbed the grenades and threw them on the ground. She then used Faceless' dead body and placed it on top of the grenades to shield the explosion while Erika herself was on top. She closed her eyes then after a second the grenades exploded under both their bodies, mitigating the explosion as much as possible. Gero couldn't believe what just happened and couldn't make sense of it. He walked slowly towards Erika's body and saw a big pool of blood. His body shook in fear seeing the one she loved the most and wanted to protect the most in that state)
"NO..NO...NO...ERIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
