Hello again...

How are you all and what have you been doing in these last weeks that many things happened in several parts of the world for example in Argentina they tried to kill the vice president and for that action that many of us condemn a distraction the whole country celebrated with a national holiday there were many memes but I had a good time with my family :) and speaking of having a good time with the family I have a news to tell you.

In two months it will be my little girl's birthday and as I want to celebrate it in a big way I have to organize her party so from October until mid November I will post again to concentrate on my little girl's party but not to stay with only one chapter next week I will upload another chapter so you can enjoy more of this wonderful series, so you know but don't worry this third season if I will finish it. Without more to say I will let you read the chapter.

Confessing everything

As the stars lit up the sky over the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, at the Monroy family home, Jaqui chatted with her sisters, who prepared a small dinner of sandwiches with a small pancake to celebrate her birthday and, at the same time, shared the gifts Jaqui had received at school.

"And this laptop was given to me by Martin," she turned on the laptop that Martin had given her.

"Your friend must be rich to give this to you," replied Michell, the middle sister, as she ate a sandwich.

"Will you let me play with it?" asked Ceci excitedly.

"Sure, but only if you're good," replied Jaqui, eating a piece of the small cake her sisters had prepared for her.

"Well... you've already shown us your gifts, now it's our turn" Michel and Ceci look for two gift bags hidden in the sofa cushions.

"Open mine that I made at school" insisted Ceci handing the gift to her sister.

"Well let's see what we have here" Jaqui opened her gift and it was a colorful necklace made with macaroni and a small bracelet made with the same material "awwww... it's very pretty Ceci".

"I made it in art class and painted it all colors to match your clothes" Ceci replied enthusiastically.

"Well I like it so much I'm going to wear it now" she put on the necklace and bracelet "thank you Ceci".

"Michel gives his gift to his older sister and Jaqui opens it excited to see a big package of several colored pencils to draw with.

"Wooo... is beautiful but where did you get the money to buy them" Jaqui looks at the amount of colors.

"I have my ways."

"Grandparents gave it to you didn't they?"

"Yes... but they're still coming next week to celebrate your birthday" Ceci interrupted "daddy's going to bring you a present."

"Thanks girls, it was still a good birthday" thanked Jaqui hugging her sisters "although you know I like to celebrate it with...

"Hi girls, I'm here" spoke Jaqui's mother as she arrived home from work but noticed several things on the table and some candy and chocolate "where did you get this stuff?"

"They are Jaqui's, they were given to her" replied Ceci in an innocent voice.

"Gifts?" The older woman didn't understand what her younger daughter was referring to.

"You've forgotten, haven't you?" Jaqui resented her mother's forgetfulness.

"If you come back with your whims again, don't insist, I'm not in the mood to argue with you today," the blue macaw replied grumpily, leaving her purse on the table and taking off her slippers.

"It's not about that it's about today's important day" Jaqui raised her voice a little scaring her sisters a little bit.

"If it's a parents' meeting, forget it, I'm not going to listen to the same old stuff."

Cell phone call

"It's the grandparents, I'm sure they want to talk to you for your birthday" Michell covered her beak for saying the words her mother should have remembered for her daughter

"Birthday but your birthday is on... " the older woman started counting on her fingers and realized she had forgotten that today was her first born's birthday "oh... gee."

"As always I have to remind you of everything and if you want to punish me that's fine but after I finish talking to my grandparents" Jaqui felt bad for her mother's disinterest and went to her room taking her cell phone with her so she could talk to her grandparents but shedding some tears and her sisters followed her.

There was a small silence in the room and the mother felt bad for forgetting an important date and did not know what to say or do about it, but this time she could not be angry with her daughter as she had a right to feel upset for forgetting her birthday as for her being a single mother it was not so easy to pay attention to her daughters and her work at the same time.

"Now even I don't know what to do about it" said the mother with some annoyance sitting on the sofa "it's too late to apologize to her".

Back to Jewel's house

"Are you sure you didn't hear anything?" Mimi asked as she stood in the doorway of Jewel's room while Blu hid behind the door

"I just got out of the shower," replies Jewel, still wearing the towel crossed in the middle of her chest. "How do you think I'm going to listen when I'm in the bathroom?" Jewel closes the door slightly, but Mimi opens it again.

"Okay...okay but if you hear any noise let me know because someone was spying on the house" when he opened the door, a blow hit Blu in the beak and the blue male tried not to scream in pain.

"Spying?" jewel pretended to be scared.

"This job your father does is very risky so they are trying to get into the house to see what they can find" Mimi replied a little scared.

"Yes, okay...it's fine... Now I want to get dressed before I catch a cold" Jewel tries again to close the door.

"Okay but in a little while we're going to have dinner" Mimi walks away from the place.

"Yes...yes... I'll be right there" Jewel closes the door and her room is left in semi-darkness.

"¡OUCH!"

"Don't scream or my aunt will hear you" Jewel ordered in a low but serious voice.

"Because every time I come here I end up with a punch" Blu rubs his beak.

"I ask the same thing what the fuck were you doing at my window, were you spying on me?"

"No! I'm not that kind of person" Blu replied showing the backpack he was carrying hidden inside his shirt

"I just came to give you some books."

"And you couldn't give them to me at school" Jewel was still suspicious of Blu.

"The teacher gave them to me at the last minute so it's not my fault" defended the blue male "besides you're suspended remember".

"You shouldn't have come anyway"

"I know... I really didn't mean to come at a bad time" apologized Blu.

"So you were spying on me!" she walks up to him wanting to punch him.

"No... it's just that just when I was going to knock on the door I saw what happened and I didn't mean to..." confessed Blu in a pitiful voice but Jewel interrupted him.

"It doesn't matter anyway" Jewel turns around "leave the books on the desk and go."

The blue male felt bad about what he had seen and understood the pain his old friend was feeling. He took out of his backpack the books Miriam had left him and put them on the desk so he could leave once and for all, but remembering the fight Jewel had with her father, he wanted to tell her something to cheer her up.

"Your father was very hard on you, I know how it feels."

"No...you don't" Jewel replied looking for clothes in her closet so she wouldn't see Blu "you don't have the same life as me."

"Well you're right I don't have the same family as you but being alone I do" confessed the blue teen "we both hate being alone".

"Things weren't like this before."

"How?" asked Blu, but inwardly he patted his head, for he feared Jewel would be upset with him.

"We always used to do things together as a family, it was the three of us and nothing was missing in our lives until my... she...she left and everything changed" a few tears fell down Jewel's cheeks.

"Your mother?" Blu was encouraged to ask about Jewel's deceased mother.

"She was the one who brought us together and when she left things changed" Jewel sobbed softly "we stopped being close and drifted apart and only saw each other at dinners or when there was an important event (small pause) I tried to get close to him but he chose his job over me and preferred someone else to take care of me when he was my father and I don't even look like his daughter anymore I'm just a nameless guest in his house" she enters the closet slamming the door and sits in the back crying silently.

"You know... that's exactly what I felt when you walked away from me" Blu confessed with a bit of sadness sitting on the side of the closet "we were so close that I considered you my best friend but when Roberto came along you walked away from me without any explanation and started to bother me along with him and the other guys."

"I never wanted to stop being your friend" Jewel confessed wiping her tears "Roberto would get jealous when he saw me playing with you and he would tell me that as soon as we finished elementary school you would leave forever and we would never see each other again. I didn't want to listen to him but every time you mentioned that you wanted to be a doctor like your father I remembered what Beto told me and I distanced myself from you because I felt that you didn't care about me... that's why I started to hate you".

"Jewel you and I could have remained best friends even more but instead you listened to a boy you met in the fourth grade" Blu brought out a resentment he thought he had forgotten "you preferred a new friendship when I had known you since I was six".

"I met Roberto at a family picnic for my father's job. We both grew up together and his parents had passed away by the time he entered fourth grade, so we were so close because we had both lost a loved one."

"I didn't know that about him but you still shouldn't have treated me badly because he asked you to" Blu replied getting up from the floor "but I still forgive you, I'm not a child anymore to think about games and old friendships" Blu went back to the window to leave and Jewel came out of the closet wearing a pink blouse and black shorts. She walked over to her desk to look at her books but something caught her eye.

"Hey, you forgot this" Jewel shows a pair of square glasses that were tucked in the middle of the books.

"Oh, that" Blu hurried back to the desk and snatched the glasses from Jewel "how did my dad's glasses get here hehehe... Thank you."

"They are too small for your dad to wear" the blue female looked at the glasses for a while.

"Well, he wears them to look far away" lied the blue teen again.

"And why does it say Tyler Blu Gunderson on the left stick?" Jewel managed to see from afar Blu's full name written with a laser beam "Blu are you still wearing the glasses?"

Blu got nervous with all the questions Jewel was asking him and had no choice but to confess the truth because he was a bad liar.

"I lied about my eye operation, I still need my glasses to see things far away, I told you that," Blu confessed in an embarrassed voice, putting on his glasses.

"And why don't you wear them instead of keeping them all the time?"

"After your taunts and insults I stopped wearing them in public but when we graduated from elementary school I went back to wearing them before studying at Blue Sky" Blu replied.

"And you didn't want to buy the graduation handbook either."

"How did you know?"

"I heard you talking to your mom while your dad was taking pictures of you after the ceremony and asked you if you wanted to say goodbye to your friends and you told them that you were always being called names and judged since fourth grade and that what you wanted most was to get out of that dump of a school" Jewel recalled a part of her elementary school past with Blu.

"Well it's true that I couldn't wait to graduate so I could get away from you and Roberto but now that we are in the same high school I can't wait to graduate or in asking my parents to change high schools for next year" Blu didn't want to talk to Jewel anymore and went back out the window but this time Jewel stopped him without using force before he went down the wooden sidewalk.

"But this time I don't want to make the same mistake as before" Jewel confessed with sincerity and showing a small smile "I want to start over and I'm going to start from what happened weeks ago."

"About what happened in..."

"Yes, and this time I do have an answer for you."

"Well I don't believe you at all you are playing with my mind" Blu spoke in a serious voice "because that's what you always do hurt people senseless but I won't fall for your tricks Jewel Jacqueline Hathaway."

Jewel didn't curse or hit Blu as usual instead she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to the window and looked at him seriously "If I was playing with your feelings I wouldn't tell you that I've liked you for a long time!"

"Wait what!..." Blu was taken aback by what Jewel said.

"You heard me you fucking idiot I've liked you since we were in fifth grade but I wasn't sure because I was also in love with Roberto and when we finished elementary school I wanted to at least say goodbye to you but after what you said about me I decided to forget you but no...you had to study in the same high school as me" Jewel wanted to let go of him so he hit the floor hard but since he was in a high place she pulled him hard back to his room and he fell next to his bed hitting the floor hard.

For the first time Blu did not scream and writhe in pain as usual, but got up from the floor and was frightened by what Jewel had said, fearing to be near her, thinking she had lost her mind.

"How can you say that about me?" asked Blu "you a tough, serious girl with a unique image dare to notice me."

"Do you want me to explain it to you with apples or what?" Jewel held back the urge to scream.

"If you liked me as much as you said you did, why did you go out with Roberto?".

"Because I wanted to forget you through him and it didn't work, satisfied," Jewel replied.

"But...but this doesn't make any sense, how can you like me?". Blu still couldn't believe what he had heard.

"Please don't make me tell you any more details" Jewel rolled her eyes and turned her back on him.

"No, now you're going to tell me everything" Blu steps in front of her and looks at her seriously "you started this."

"Blu"

"If you want things to be okay between the two of us you are going to open up to me and tell me your true feelings for me right now."

"I can't."

"Why?" asked the blue male with a bit of desperation.

"I just can't because I've been warned," Jewel replied, shedding a few tears, and sat down on the bed.

"It's because of your father, isn't it?" asked Blu, calming down a bit.

"It's not just because of my father, it's because of someone else and I don't want him to hurt you like he hurt me. He'll hurt both of us" replied Jewel wiping away her tears "I'll still tell you everything I think about you so you can see I'm not lying."

Blu kept quiet, he didn't think Jewel would dare to tell him her true feelings for him, but he decided to let her talk.

"I think... you are a great guy, attractive, cute and you are always willing to help your friends" he confessed with a bit of shyness and at the same time showing weakness since he never showed himself as affectionate as he did with Roberto "you are a bit clumsy, nerdy and also weak but you are very kind and you ask nothing in return when you offer your kindness to people and finally you... ahmmm... you... you were my first... my first kiss."

"Alright I think that's enough" Blu stopped her in a calm voice and sat down next to her "I believe you but still how could you notice me I thought you hated me."

"I could have stopped teasing you if I wanted to but I guess it was the only way to..."

Both: Keep you close to me

"Yes, but it doesn't matter...now you know everything" replied Jewel getting up from the bed and turning her back to him "if you want to make fun, throw up or tell everyone at school, I'm not going to bother or hit you that's your right."

Blu could have gone out the window and not spoken to Jewel again, he could have kept this traumatic moment in his life without anyone knowing, but instead he approached her and grabbed her from behind asking her to turn around. Jewel did not expect this action from him, but if she wanted to face things with Blu she had to turn around to face him and accept whatever came.

Once she turned around she expected to be insulted or threatened by the blue male but instead Blu slowly approached her so he could say something to her "I'm not that kind of person who judges others without knowing them first and I wouldn't make fun of an old childhood friend I had my first kiss with, much less if I was in love with her for a while" Blu spoke in a sweet voice and looked at Jewel tenderly.

Jewel didn't say anything about it, she was so surprised that Blu didn't insult her as she expected. They both got lost in each other's gaze and slowly got closer, forgetting their differences and their fights, recreating the same scene they lived when they were six years old and when they least expected it, they ended up joining their beaks in a small but tender kiss.

Both Blu and Jewel were surprised by what happened but inside they liked it so much that they continued with the kiss until it turned into a passionate kiss. They both slowly embraced each other and enjoyed the moment that for them was an eternity when in reality it was seconds. Jewel remembered that beautiful moment when she realized she had been in love with Blu since she was eleven and felt so happy to be able to recapture an old friendship and possibly her new lifelong love.

Blu remembered the day Jewel gave him his first kiss, it was small, warm but it showed the symbol of the affection they had for each other since they were children, but this kiss was different, it wasn't just affection but something stronger that few can find when they fall in love, love.

Due to the lack of air they both had to break the kiss but without stopping hugging each other. Neither of them dared to say a word as they were still shocked by what had happened but slowly Blu regained consciousness and realized that he was hugging Jewel but the most surprising thing was that he did not hit her as usual but all this was proving that he was speaking from the heart.

"Can I ask you something?" Blu asked a little shyly without looking Jewel in the eyes.

"What is it?

"About what happened weeks ago in the infirmary and at your house was why...".

"Yes it was about that but I didn't want to show you and out of nowhere my feelings got the best of me and what happened happened" Jewel replied with a little blush.

"As Raphael says always listen to your heart" Blu also blushed because he was close to Jewel.

"Then we are even" Jewel moves away from Blu but this time without being aggressive.

"Yes but now that I know the whole truth I want to get to know you a little more".

"What do you mean?"

"If we are going to be friends or something more than friends we have to get to know each other more. It's been years and I don't know what you like or what things you've experienced since we stopped being friends."

"You're right I just found out you're still wearing your glasses and you're still the school brainiac" Jewel agreed with Blu "plus you've changed physically."

"Well in that I haven't changed" for the first time Blu gave Jewel a smile.

"I know and for some strange reason I like you" Jewel also gave Blu a small smile and her cheeks turned red.

"I like you too Jewel" A step away from another kiss Edward knocked on the door getting his daughter's attention.

"Jewel to dinner!"

"Yes, Dad, I'm coming!" replied Jewel in a kind voice but rolling her eyes.

"Once again your father is an ogre" Blu also rolled his eyes but at the same time mocked Jewel's father.

"He always has been hehehehehehe... I better get downstairs I don't want to get in any more trouble."

"Hey, Ammm... Would you...would you like to go out sometime you know for an ice cream or a soda somewhere?".

"I'd love to but because of what happened today my dad grounded me all week and I won't be able to go out anywhere so I'll have to concentrate on studying if I don't want to go to boarding school, do you mind if we go out after exams?" proposed Jewel to reschedule the outing.

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Blu replied enthusiastically, "so I'll see you tomorrow afternoon for further study."

"See you in the afternoon professor and not a minute late but this time walk in the door" the teenager winked at Blu.

"Joya!" Eduardo shouted again from the second floor.

"Okey see you tomorrow bay" Jewel gives Blu a quick peck on the cheek and rushes out of the room to avoid any more trouble with her father.

"See you tomorrow Jewie..." said goodbye Blu holding her cheek and smiling at the kiss she had received from her new recovered friend remembering again the kiss she gave him earlier "Woah..."

"The Carpentry teacher didn't leave me as much work as the other teachers just asked me to draw a blueprint of a small revisor so I could contemplate the semester and get through the year" said Skyler as she ate salad with fish fillet next to her parents and uncle.

"That's good, honey, so you won't have so much homework to do" replied Mimi as she drank some juice.

"All thanks to Lillian who helped me with the homework they had to do, even though some of it I had already done at my previous school."

"It's about time you got here, I've been calling you for over five minutes" Edward challenged his daughter.

"Sorry, I was drying my pens" replied Jewel and sat back in her chair.

"Well, since you're all here, I want to give you some good news, especially for you, Skyler," Jack spoke in a kind voice, "I visited three houses today and finally got to com...

(Sound of a cat attacking someone)

"There's that cat again" Edward rolled his eyes and stood up to look at the supposed spy.

"I told you someone tried to break into the house" Mimi stood up and looked out the window.

"If they had, I would have caught the burglar by now."

"I think he got away," Jewel replied.

"He got away?" Edward was surprised by what his daughter said.

"The cat...I mean the cat again ran away" Jewel replied flashing a small smile and changed it to annoyance "he's too brave and annoying to do those things."

"So what were you saying dad?" asked Skyler sitting down next to her father.

"That I already bought our new house and it's in a gated community."

"Oh, that's great dad" Skyler spoke with a bit of excitement as he liked being around his mom and uncle. Including her bitter cousin.

"But don't worry little cloud you'll be close to your mom's house so you can visit as often as you want but for now we'll stay here" Jack noticed the change in his daughter's voice "besides the moving truck arrives in three days and while we fix up the house it will take two more weeks."

"Oh, that's fine until then I'll concentrate on my homework."

"What about you Jewie, has anything good happened to you the last few days?" asked Jack to his niece as she ate some salad, but Skyler inwardly cringed at her father's silly question, since he himself knew what had happened at school.

"Well only one good thing happened to me but I'll be able to enjoy it in a few weeks" Jewel replied remembering what happened in her room as she ate dinner and her father and aunt looked out the window to see if the spy was in sight.

"Well, whatever it is, I hope you enjoy it, Jewie." Jack spoke as if nothing had happened and continued eating.

Jewel looked down at her plate and the fish fillet was unintentionally shaped like Blu's face, which made her happy, but Skyler was confused because she thought he was still mad at her.

"I will enjoy it but after the exams."

The illumination of the full moon and the empty streets of Rio de Janeiro showed that the day had come to an end with a blue macaw chased by a white cat. A lot of good and bad things happened with our feathered friends, both inside and outside the Blue Sky School, but the next day can be better anyway, right?

As the principal Chris had ordered the small school kiosk was closed until further notice. Some kids were asking about the closure but others had a good remedy to get candy and snacks inside the school that few students dared to buy to set a trap for the dealer who was still loose in the halls of Blu Sky

During the rest of the week Lila and RDJ had lunch together and saw each other after swimming lessons, as did Tomada and Sorrel who couldn't wait for the weekend to arrive to have their first date after so many weeks of getting to know each other. While Charlie tried to communicate with his friends in the special group to warn them about the drug dealer but as many knew that the black cockatoo is a big fan of making up false gossip no one believed him until Raquel and Javier started to feel sick inexplicably and were sent home without leaving any information just on the last day of classes except Soledad and Chris who were able to talk to Raquel about what happened at the teachers' meeting without anyone seeing them.

Jewel continued studying with Blu after his unexpected visit they both agreed not to go crazy with their hormonal urges and even more they confessed their feelings to each other once the exams were over they would go on a little date. Roberto was happier than ever with his renewed friendship with Blu it seemed that his silly jealousy had disappeared but deep down he missed talking to Jewel no matter how many new friends he made the blue female was very special to him, many times he wanted to talk to her but his fear of being rejected kept invading him and he better let her have her space as he had asked for so much and continued helping Lila with her training.

The weekend had arrived after several days of studying and reviewing the last studies before the final exams of the last semester of this school year. Many teenagers started to relax either at home sleeping, playing video games or going on a date with the girl you are attracted to like Tomada who was waiting for her date with Sorrel but since they were both committed to accompany their friends to the municipal theater of Rio de Janeiro where they would sing for the city's music contest they decided that after the performance they would go on a date so as not to look bad to their friends.

Peregrine Falcon was wearing a black suit with black tie along with shiny black shoes. His attire was like that of a groom waiting at the altar for his future bride but instead of at the altar he was waiting for his friend Sorrel outside the theater to go in together and see her friends as it was a special occasion for both his friend and him he decided to come looking presentable to his best friend's first concert and at the same time his first date with the girl of his dreams.

"Oh my god, why didn't I bring an extra t-shirt?" Tomada spoke nervously as he waited for Sorrel outside the theater feeling sweat under his arms as he clasped his hands together from his first date nerves and talked to himself.

"Okay...okay...calm down Tomada...you finally got to ask out the girl you like. Just wait until the show is over, congratulate Jenny on her performance and then you'll be alone with Sorrel to take her to that beach restaurant you saw and when the time comes you tell her you love her..." The hawk stopped talking when he saw Sorrel walking towards him wearing a sapphire colored dress with an open neckline and part of her legs were exposed by the little fabric the dress had but what caught the hawk's attention were the high heels she was wearing, it was the third time Tomada could see her talons.

"Hello Tomada" Sorrel greeted his hawk friend "did I make it in time before the show?"

The peregrine falcon got lost in the beautiful eyes of the blue macaw, he didn't know if it was the makeup that made her look more beautiful than she really was to him "Tomada are you okay?"

"Yes... yes... I'm fine" Tomada reacted and tried not to get lost in Sorrel's beauty but it was impossible and even more so if she was wearing the heels that let her claws show "you... you look beautiful".

"Thank you" replied Sorrel blushing "actually I wasn't planning to wear a dress but since we are going to a musical theater I wanted to look pretty and presentable".

"I agree with you, this is a very special occasion for our friends" Tomada tightens his tie.

"Yes Eva hasn't stopped talking about her big performance, I heard that her mother will be representing her musical group."

"Yes I heard that too" Tomada pretended to have a smile as she knew from Jenny that Eva's mother was the organizer of the event "so let's go inside, they already announced that the performance will start in five minutes".

"Sure let's go" Sorrel walked with the hawk towards the entrance of the theater as in a few minutes the performance would start.

And we come to the end of the chapter dear readers. Jewel confessed her true feelings for Blu and revealed the reason for their estrangement, was she right to listen to Roberto?

Tomada and Sorrel are about to have their first date, how will their date go? In the next episode we will see RDJ and Lila on their first date. Blu and Jewel's conversation was very hard to write I didn't know what to put or how to get to the moment when they confessed normally Blu was always the one to tell Jewel his true feelings but I decided to change it because we all know that Jewel loved Blu secretly at least in this story, do you like what I wrote?

It was very cruel what Jaqui's mom did but who hasn't had that happen to them? Also, this is a reflection so they don't make the same mistakes as their parents. Your criticisms and comments will be listened to (as long as they are related to the story) until the next publication.
