The legend of the knight of Acim
The unexpected warning, warning or threat of this knight of Acim, as he calls himself, tormented several Blue Sky students. Every hallway heard his name and the nicknames given to him such as the iron man, the shadow, the thirteen or the lord but his best known name was the Knight of Acim.
Of course all the teachers saw what happened but it was not easy for them to control a bunch of teenagers who did not tolerate being in a yard big enough to walk around but when they received the message from Soledad about finding again the guy who was being funny for revealing the principal's plans through the microphone all the teachers started to wander around the corridors forgetting for a moment about their students.
In the dining room of the school several of our favorite friends were sitting watching how the others were freaking out with the news of the knight of Acim to whom they kept calling him by different nicknames. As several of our favorite characters were in a different group, by natural law they were not supposed to meet to eat together but all this confinement was scaring them so much that they forgot that they were two different groups and joined their tables together so as not to feel intimidated by what they saw around them.
"This is a big joke" said Pedro in an annoyed voice.
"Yes everyone is acting like idiots" answered Alejandro looking at his cell phone until he ran out of cellular data "no!... I was just going to read if Messi is going to play this weekend the superclásico!".
"And speaking of idiots" David laughed a little and so did the others "if it makes you feel any better Messi will play if he recovers from his injury".
"Hey, what if it's true what that anonymous gentleman said?" said RDJ looking at the rest of the crowd freaking out.
"About what?" asked Lila sitting next to him.
"That they set up someone at the school so the drug addict could hide" RDJ replied and Lila looked away a little but he didn't see her.
"You mean Sofia?" asked Alejandro "I think it might be her because where did she get so much energy to do six chores she didn't do in a long weekend."
"Oh where did she get so much energy from when you touched her breasts and she knocked you out in art class" replied David eliciting laughter from everyone.
"That Sofia sure is tough" confessed Jaqui.
"She looks like someone I know" replied Blu looking at Jaqui with a slight chuckle and she blushed.
"Guys we can't judge without seeing first" Skyler defended Sofia "they probably found something uncomfortable in her backpack".
"Well the man on the microphone said this blaming thing was like a distraction" Nathaniel agreed with Skyler's words but on one hand it was to get his attention.
"If you think she is innocent then where is her other friend, what was her name?" asked Peter pretending to know nothing about drugs and the user.
"Lillian" replied Martin "maybe she went to the bathroom but I doubt she is an accomplice of her friend she doesn't seem like a bad person."
"And why would they call him Mr. De Acim?" asked Blu remembering his name.
"I don't know but I'll tell him lord of the zodiac it's like an anime it's not real but some predictions of the zodiac signs are" answered Roberto laughing a little and the others laughed too "some predictions of course hehehe…"
"Anyway we will be locked up all day if that drug addict doesn't show up" sighed Alejandro "there is no internet".
"I don't understand why they are freaking out about a voice that sounds like a video game" replied David "I'm sure it's a joke from some thugs that have snuck into the office".
"I agree with you honey" agreed Martin "because I heard a voice before they cut the communication and it was a guy's".
"Come to think of it, I think that voice sounds just like one of my classmates who has a twin brother in class" spoke RDJ "Douglas".
"The quiet one?" asked Skyler "that kid barely talks on the other hand his brother keeps making jokes with those two green loud mouths that follow him everywhere."
"Well today he called me a faggot in the living room" Martin remembered his little fight with the green macaw "Lillian told me he's a bit of an asshole just like his brother Sandro."
"Don't trust the quiet ones can be the worst" Blu spoke in a wise voice "they are full of surprises".
"Yeah, and then you'll tell us you're up to something by being quiet," Jaqui replied in a semi-mocking voice and the others laughed except RDJ, David, Alejandro and Skyler because they didn't know Blu's personality.
Blu was a little nervous about those words and more so if Jaqui said it because he still had the idea that she knew about his encounters with Jewel outside of school.
"Can I talk to you alone, Jaqui?" Blu asked quickly.
"What…now?" asked Jaqui and Blu got up from the table showing he was serious and without further ado went after him.
(Phone call)
"Martin turn down the volume on your cell phone or the elders will ask for credit" Roberto gave Martin a little nudge because his cell phone was ringing.
"Sorry honey, I have to take this, it's a friend" apologized Martin, looking at his friend's name on the screen "Angelito, what's up?". Martín answered the call from his friend with down syndrome "no…. I haven't seen her, why…are you agitated…in the halls?...first calm down and tell me exactly where you are" Martín's reaction made everyone at the table pay attention.
"Angelito?" Roberto kept thinking about the name Martin mentioned.
"Like he suffers from claustrophobia!" shouted Martin "okey…. Ok…. I'm coming for you honey and don't lose your head, we'll find her" he hung up the call.
"What's wrong?" asked Nathaniel
"Tiny suffers from claustrophobia and got lost in the school corridors" replied Martin "Angel is looking for her with a teacher but she needs help".
"That's not good" replied Lila "The shock of being locked in made her lose consciousness".
"We have to find her before something bad happens to her" proposed Peter quickly.
"But what do we do about the bullies?" asked Skyler.
"They're going to beat us up even if we're all together to look intimidating" Martin got up from the table "of all people I'm going to get beat up for being gay so why not risk it."
"I'm coming with you, we'll do something entertaining if we get locked up" Alejandro agreed to help his friend.
"Ok then let's go" ordered Martin.
Everyone was thinking about what Martin and Alejandro said so not to die of boredom or expect to be threatened by the fifteen or eighteen year old teenagers they got up from the table and helped look for Tiny but before Lila went to take her new boyfriend's hand Pedro wanted to talk to her.
"Hey, this is getting out of hand" said Pedro in a low voice.
"I know this confinement is upsetting even the youngest" replied Lila without understanding her friend's reference.
"No… I'm talking about Nico" corrected the cardinal "his addictions and friendships led him to this and I haven't seen him in any hallway".
"I don't care what Nico does anymore if he wants to get high let him do it and thanks to him we'll be locked up if he doesn't turn himself in with Nigel and Philip."
"I thought you still cared."
"Well not anymore" Lila was trying not to hurt the cardinal "I already had my heart broken once Peter and I don't want it broken again" with nothing more to say she left with her boyfriend who was waiting for her.
"Everything ok honey?" asked RDJ taking his beloved's hand.
"Yeah don't worry honey, Pedro asked me about some math homework" Lila gave him a kiss on the beak.
"Come on lovebirds stop blabbing and let's start looking for Tiny" ordered David.
"By the way, who is Tiny?" asked RDJ.
Meanwhile in the school library Gaby, Nico, Nigel and Felipe were walking towards the back of the corridors which apparently there was no one in the place as no teenager would want to come and read books in the library as they could easily find everything on the internet but the question is why would Nigel and his accomplices be in a place as boring as the library?
"Ramiro is going to kill us Nigel we shouldn't have come" spoke Felipe in a low voice as he pretended to read a book just like Nico and Gaby.
"And get punished because of him, that's no way" replied Nigel in a low voice as he carried the backpack where the drugs were and pretended to look for a book.
"Don't tell me you're scared of that voice you heard at the address" asked Philip but Nigel didn't answer he just looked away "you're not serious are you?".
"Nigel, you're afraid of the threat of the…"
"You don't know anything about the gentleman!" shouted Nigel "this wouldn't be happening if you two hadn't been careless with those mints" he pointed at Nico and Philip.
"NO SHOUTING IN THE LIBRARY!" shouted an elderly sea eagle (look for the species, she's gorgeous) with round glasses as she walked down the aisles a little slowly.
"Sorry" apologized Nico in a kind voice, but out of nowhere he got a tap on the shoulder from Nigel once the old lady walked away.
"You're a little farm hen with a small dick" cursed Nigel under his breath.
"He or rather you" interrupted a serious voice coming from behind a piece of furniture where he had several encyclopedias "once again you fucked up Nigelderella" it was none other than Ramiro a black cockatoo who was apparently taller and older than Nigel.
"It wasn't me I swear these assholes are careless with the…."
"We made a deal Nigel if you sold you would pay me what you owed me but apparently one of your little whores was spotted by the shadow."
"Wasn't her name knight of Acim?" Corrected Gaby
"Shut up" Nigel ordered "I told you it wasn't us, we blamed it on another girl to avoid suspicion".
"Well the shadow beat you guys and now she knows about the business thanks to your bullshit" Ramiro raised his voice a little.
"I SAID SILENCE!" Ordered the old woman from afar in a very loud voice.
"Nobody knows what we are doing not even the teachers who as usual will try to look for the idiot acim they never manage to catch" Nigel continued speaking in a low voice.
"Are they really going to do that?" asked Philip.
"I've been here for two years and they do it every year and as usual they fail" replied Nigel leaving Gaby, Felipe and Nico a little surprised.
"Nigel, did you repeat first grade?" asked Nico.
"Yes, he repeated a grade and also in elementary school for being an idiot and a loser. Now concentrate and think about how to erase the evidence in case we get caught" Ramiro changed the conversation.
"But who would be stupid enough to carry drugs through the halls and get rid of them in the middle of a conflict?" asked Felipe sarcastically.
"They would immediately suspect us and more so if that bitch Miriam won't take her eye off me unless...".
"Unless what?" asked Gaby with a little excitement as she knew Nigel's tone of voice whenever he had a plan.
"Have someone small and innocent walk down the halls and out of the school" Nigel looked at Nico who was pretending to read one of the books and the rest looked at him
Back to the principal's office
"So let me get this straight" asked Sophia "they received an unknown call for several days and he threatened them to do all this in exchange for not revealing their deepest secrets".
"Yes, and it all went according to the plan the master ordered" replied Douglas in a plaintive voice.
"They would rather listen to the voice of a mobster than consult with the principal or their parents" Lillian was annoyed at the stupidity of the three teenagers.
"He had us threatened and apparently he knows a lot about our lives and secrets" replied Black Thrush "by the way my name is Noel I'm in third grade and sorry if I scared you guys"
"I'm Lillian and I'm in first grade and this is Sofia" Lillian introduced herself trying not to be rude to the bird she was locked up with.
"But what kind of life or bad secrets can you guys have that are bad" Sofia changed the conversation back to the main topic.
"That's none of your business, little red-titted red riding hood" protested the quetzatcoalt Nino "You were just a distraction, just like the gentleman said".
Sofia got angry with the quetzatcoatl, who kept looking at her brazenly: "If you say that again, I'll break your beak".
"Hit me all you want hot strawberry, but we're still not getting out of here until the dealer reveals himself" Nino continued to taunt the cardinal.
"I mean it!" Sofia shouted in despair "they are afraid of a mysterious voice just because he knows one of their secrets."
"You have no idea who you're messing with girl we're talking about the shadow of the blue sky" replied Noel with a bit of fear.
"The shadow of the blue sky?" Lillian didn't understand what he meant.
"What do you know about him?" Sofia looked menacingly at the three males "If you are part of the Douglas mafia I swear I will cut your…"
"I already told you the truth, you both know him better than me, I know I've been a jerk all school year but I don't want to look for trouble after this" confessed the military macaw afraid of being hit again by the cardinal girl "Noel, tell them what you told me."
"Many years ago, at the time of the third world war, Brazil was receiving many children and teenage refugees from different countries because of the war. Cielo Azul accepted some foreign teenagers to study and from among all those children came the gentleman from Acim."
"And was he a boy or a girl?" asked Sofia.
"What country was he from?" asked Lillian.
"No one knows but I know he was bullied for being different from the others and that made him hate school but one day he got tired of so much teasing that he unexpectedly attacked several children in the school."
"Did he kill them?" Lillian was scared.
"No… he revealed his darkest secrets" replied Noel "he got so tired of being bullied that he revealed a very strong secret that affected many."
"What secret did he reveal?" asked Sofia.
"There are several versions but the one I have been told the most was that he named all the boys and girls who would compulsorily go to war or who lost family members in the war and he even named himself who would compulsorily go to war."
"That can't be possible, the war ended twenty years ago" replied Lillian "besides if several boys went to war they would have known who the snitch was by name and personality."
"You are right girl but the only clue they could find about the gentleman was that he was a foreigner because he always defended refugees because of the war".
"So a foreign man or woman who suffered abuse, losses and is a war veteran tortures everyone in the school once a year" Sofia still didn't believe the story as it all seemed like a fantasy to her.
"And he always shows up before the summer starts and tortures several students by revealing their darkest secrets and disappears anonymously" Noel spoke in a mysterious voice.
"And as always all the teachers try to catch him but fail as they do every year" the quetzalcoatl continued speaking "my cousin told me that he heard that the knight lives under the sewers of the school and those who have dared to go down is because they have asked him for help but in exchange for a sacrifice".
"Great now you tell me that a ghost spirit is torturing us unless I give him a sacrifice" spoke Douglas in a sarcastic voice "you never mentioned that to me!" he looks at Nino with annoyance.
"If he was a ghost many students and teachers would be in the asylum and I warn you once and for all that the teachers will rejoin to look for that psychopath but they won't catch him" the quetzalcoatl raised his voice "my sister told me who he was when I was a freshman and she was about to graduate".
"And where is your so-called sister?" asked Douglas.
"After that dumb iron knight revealed that she was a lesbian and had an affair with a nerdy girl, my parents kicked my sister out of the house and I haven't seen her for a year" replied Nino "I only know that she went to northern Brazil with her girlfriend and I haven't heard from her for a year."
Douglas and the others felt bad about the story of the green bird, because between anguish and tears they realized that the story was true.
"I'm really sorry buddy, I didn't mean to remind you" apologized Douglas.
"But I don't understand one thing" asked Sofia breaking the silence but this time calmer "that guy said they would frame someone for selling drugs but …. Why did he frame me and how does he know my name and Lillian's name?".
"Sofi, I'm not much of a talker at school and yet he knew what my name was" Douglas confessed.
"Yes but you fuck with women just like your brother" replied the cardinal and everyone looked at her seriously as she returned to her strong character "that's the truth don't look at me like that".
"Well yes it is true I have been a fool this year and I have made fun of everyone but it was just to fit in" confessed the military macaw "I feel that my attitude led me to this mess and now I know what it feels like and if I don't do what that guy told me the whole school will know that I like the…" Douglas couldn't finish the last sentence as he was about to reveal something very intimate.
"The what?" Sofia and Lillian asked.
"Ammm… cat food… y-yeah that's my secret is that I love to eat cat and dog croketas during lunch" replied Douglas in a quick voice.
"Well that sounds disgusting but don't worry we won't say a word" replied Lillian "we all have different tastes".
"Your secret is safe with us, but if you ever get cheeky with me again I will fill your locker with cat food instead of slapping you" replied Sophia.
"Thanks girls" thanked Douglas "speaking of food I'm already hungry".
"Me too" replied Noel "my mom made me shrimp croquettes with onions and peppers but with all this I forgot my lunch in my backpack".
"What I wouldn't give to eat some fire flavored cheetos" begged Nino licking his beak from the desire to eat "Ramiro sells them expensive but they are delicious".
"I think I have a melted cheese sandwich and a pot of salad in my backpack" Sofia remembered that her backpack was still on Chris' desk "It's not much but it will satiate our hunger".
"Who is Ramiro?" asked Douglas to his new friend.
"He's a guy who sells candy and crap behind the backs of the teachers along with some girls who are pregnant" replied Nino.
"Ah… yes I've seen two or three fifth year girls pregnant many make fun of them but why do they want to sell candy if they have to take care of their health because of the baby?" Thought the canary
"Lillian! …. Lillian look at this!" shouted Sofia showing her backpack "my backpack has another format!".
"Well I see it normal" replied the canary.
"This is not my backpack" Sofia stared at her red backpack.
"But it has your sunflower keychain" Lillian showed her her favorite keychain".
Sofia opened her backpack and took out two dirty books, a half-folded notebook and half of a smelly sandwich "This isn't even mine!".
"Get rid of it, the smell is disgusting" pleaded the quetzalcoatl with the urge to vomit.
"Someone switched my backpack while I was being challenged by the professor" cursed the cardinal as he threw the sandiwch "it sure was that pink frog-faced girl".
"It couldn't have been her because she was also fighting you" replied Lillian thinking about her friend's discovery "that gentleman was right, you were framed for something you didn't do".

"Douglas… Douglas… it's me Sandro" spoke Sandro knocking on the door.
"Sandro?" Douglas approaches the door.
"Bro, what the hell are you doing?" the military macaw asked.
"It's a long and embarrassing story," Douglas replied feeling embarrassed.
"Are you the one who put on the thick voice?".
"No..." replied Douglas "I'm talking to the lord of the acim."
"You said you were going to meet a girl to roll around with her in the roll around corner" Sandro began to suspect if his brother was telling the truth.
"I'm sorry brother but I don't want to involve you in this, you better leave" Douglas answered him in a serious voice.
"I'm not leaving without knowing what's going on."
(Cell phone call)
"It's him again" Noel answered the call and it was an unknown number "hello?
Mysterious voice: Are you still in the office?
"Yes, we're still on lockdown, but the junkie hasn't revealed himself yet" replied the black bird.
"Give me that phone!" Sofia snatched the cell phone from the black thrush "listen mafioso I don't know how you found out but apparently the drug dealer you're looking for has accomplices and switched my backpack and blamed me like you said."
"Sof we don't know if it's really her" interrupted Lillian.
"I know it's her and if it's not then it's her white friend" Sofia answered her remembering a little bit the face of Gaby's friend she saw her talking to after their fight.
What do you want in return for all this?
"Nothing, I just want justice for what they did to me, they involved my best friend and blamed me for something I didn't do," Sofia replied in a confident voice.
Do you have any suspects?
"There is a suspect and I think she has some accomplices, I don't know if you make rivalries with your victims but I have a plan to catch the dealer and that little pink shit" replied Sofia.
"You are crazy!" interrupted Douglas in an annoyed voice "if you think we will make rivalry with him you are very wrong!".
"I support you Sof" Lillian stood next to Sofia "I have tolerated the taunts made against us for a long time but to be blamed for selling drugs was unfair and I want justice."
"If catching the vendor will get us out of here then I'll back you up" Noel was willing to help "What do you say Nino…Nino?"
"I'm still upset about what you did to my sister, I haven't seen her since she graduated. I don't know what you have against LGBT people but if this plan gets me out of here I will" Nino replied feeling sadness and pain at the memory of his sister.
Douglas had no choice but to join the others as they were all in agreement "okey I'm in but if they are going to come after us it's best to protect the outer gate".
"It's settled" Sophia took up the call "we want to get the seller no matter what the circumstances of the acts".
We have a deal girl tell me what you plan to do
"Do you have a music player first?" asked Sofia.
What do you want to do with the music?
"I don't know maybe listen to a song so catchy that no one can get it out of their head" replied Sofia in a mean voice.
"Brother I know you're mad but I'll tell you anything if you help me protect the door from the bullies and the teachers" Douglas spoke to his brother through the door again.
"What?" Sandro was confused.
"Trust me" Douglas asked him pleadingly.
And we reached the end of the chapter dear readers we have heard the legend of the knight of acim who apparently is a student who tortures other students revealing their darkest secrets why would he do that and why the whole school is afraid of him? And yes gentlemen in this universe there was a third world war that we will have more details later.
Sofia suspects that Gaby switched her backpack and made an alliance with the dark knight, will the seller be revealed? And last but not least I forgot to mention that Douglas and Sandro belong to my best friend RiodanJaneiro97 thanks for lending me your OCs my friend. Your criticisms and comments will be heard (as long as they are part of the story) until the next release.
