"Ahhh~... This feels nice."

Subaru moans into a pillow.

After Subaru was brought into the mansion, he immediately bolted straight for a guest bedroom; which he somehow knew perfectly where it was, and currently now was burying himself into a comfy bed.

"With the way Thirth Person worded it, you would've thought I was getting my back blown out."

Subaru chuckles into a fluffy pillow.

He continues to roll around on the large bed, as he holds the pillow against against his face.

"Guess what Thirth Person!"

Subaru calls out to his favorite delusion.

He pulls his face off the pillow, and turns to the side and stares up at the roof.

"Apparently one of my billions of fans think that your name is Third Person. Hah, can you believe that idiot?"

He kicked his legs like a giddy child, as he chuckled to himself.

"This sentence makes no sense because it's on Fanfiction!"

He exclaims with a large confident smirk, as he points his finger to the roof.

His smirk suddenly morphs into a small normal smile, as he brings his arm back to his side.

"Thirth Person doesn't even realize I changed my words!"

He continues to talk to the voices, even though they haven't ever spoke to him back.

"That's not true!"

His smile suddenly fades from his face and he adopts a desperate expression.

He looked as if he wanted to convince himself of something, even though he knew the truth of the matter.

"I'm not desperate! They aren't voices and you know that!"

Subaru whines.

"Are you done, Barusu?"

Ram asks annoyed.

She and her twin sister had been watching Subaru throwing a fit for a few seconds by now. Both sisters were both blankly staring at the crazy boy's childish complaining.

"Yup!"

Subaru launches off the bed, and flashes a smile and a thumbs up at the twin maids.

"Breakfast will be ready in a moment, Guest-sama. The lord of this manor, Roswaal-sama, will also be present."

Rem bowed and told the boy.

"What!"

Subaru screamed out.

"Ah."

A short surprised sigh came from the door.

It was Emilia.

"Oh hi Emilia-pan!"

Subaru waves at the elf, completely ignoring the frown on the girl's face.

"What did I tell you about being nice to them."

Emilia shakes her head in disappoint, as she scolds Subaru as if he was her son.

"But they started it, Mommy!"

Subaru cries out.

All of them look confused at weirded out by Subaru's words, but then a new voice enters the picture.

"Mommy?"

A fluffy flying feline comes out of Emilia's green crystal.

"Puck!"

The crazy boy's eyes light up.

He runs over to try to get the little creature into his hands, but Puck moves away just in time to avoid being trapped in Subaru's grasp.

"Hey!"

Subaru pouts.

"Why did you move Pucky-Poo?!"

Subaru's nickname makes all of them cringe, but especially the great spirit.

"Don't call me that."

Puck blankly looks and asks the boy.

"Why not man! It's not like I'm trying to get in your pants or anything like that, it's just a nickname between best buds!"

Subaru argues to why he should be allowed to call the great spirit such a weird nickname.

"It's not weird."

Subaru mumbled and crossed his arms.

The twin maids and the great spirit were very annoyed with the crazy boy, finding his antics extremely childish.

But Emilia was different. Emilia was not annoyed by Subaru at certain times, but even someone as kind as her, couldn't help but dislike Subaru at some moments because of his antics.

But luckily for Subaru, Emilia wasn't too annoyed with him at the moment.

"Come on, you girls love me!"

Subaru confidently proclaims, as he strikes a pose.

As an effect of the car accident, Subaru became very stubborn on the littlest things, and became too stubborn to admit when he was in the wrong. Another thing that came out of the accident, was the fact that Subaru had lost his sense of empathy.

"Lore drop!"

"No."

Both Rem and Ram say in unison.

"Ouch!"

He clutches his heart.

"I don't love you Subaru."

Emilia pouts and tells Subaru.

"I was rejected again!"

Subaru falls to his knees.

He punches the carpet repeatedly, because he can't handle rejection.

Ram and Rem ignore him and pass by him, as they still needed to make breakfast, leaving him and Emilia alone.

"Cheer up, Subaru."

Emilia pats his shoulder.

She was still somewhat annoyed by him, and creeped out by him calling her mommy, but she still didn't want to see him too upset.

"I'm sure you'll find someone that likes or loves you."

She tries to cheer him up, unintentionally doing the opposite.

"I do have people who like me!"

Subaru shoots off the ground and points an accusatory finger at the half-elf.

"Reinhard has me in his wet dreams, and I also have best friend Elsa!"

He confidently smirks, despite him only listing two people.

Obviously not impressed by his friend amount, Puck giggles into his little paw.

"Wow, that's impressive."

Pick sarcastically says, something Subaru doesn't pick up.

"I know!"

He responds, completely missing Puck's sarc––

"I was talking to you Thirth Person!"

Although he was talking to Puck, he had just realizes Puck was being sarcastic, so he tried to play it off on one of his delusion.

"Uhm, I haven't asked you this before, but who is Thirth Person?"

Emilia timidly asked.

She didn't know why she felt weird asking him it, but there was something at the back of her mind telling her it was a bad idea.

"It's one of the things that can narrate our lives."

Subaru calmly explains.

Emilia looked confused by his answer, but Subaru tried to explained bet––

"You aren't real Emilia."

Subaru says with a large smile, as he pokes Emilia's forehead.

"H-Huh?"

Emilia feels a large shiver shoot through her body, as she hears Subaru's words.

"Hehe~ I'm just playing."

Subaru brings his hand back to his side, but still keeps his large smile.

Emilia still feels the goosebumps all over her body, but she feels a small sense of relief.

"T-That's not funny..."

She pouts and looks off to the side.

"Let's switch some shit up."

Subaru ignores Emilia's pouting and just turns over to the bright window.

"Emilia's POV!"

Why?

Why did Subaru's words make me feel so... scared?

I know it can't be true, but there's a part of me that feels weird about it. The way he told me sounds so real, but...but it isn't real.

It isn't real. It can't be.

'Are you alright, Lia?' Puck asks me.

'You don't actually believe him, right?' He asks me again.

'I-I don't!'

'Lia... Remember what I told you.'

That's right... Just like Puck told me, Subaru is...special.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Subaru interrupts both of mine and Puck's conversation.

"Cut! End of your PoV, Emilia! It's my turn." Sub––

"The Chosen One's PoV"

How dare you Emilia-pan!

You took Re:Mental's First Person virginity and you didn't even let it ease into it! You just slammed deep inside of it without a care of it's feelings!

(I don't count as the first First Person view)

This is exactly why I don't like half-breeds! They always mess with my friends and are extremely rude.

You didn't even make your PoV cool like mine!

Kill yourself Emilia.

"Your turn for what?"

Emilia asks, still trying to forget what Subaru told her earlier.

"Nothing Emilio, just talking with Thirth Person."

Emilia freezes up as she hears Subaru talk about his delusion.

Just hearing the name of it gave her shivers now, and she couldn't fully explain why it did.

"Don't be scared of Thirth Person, Emilia-pan."

Subaru says.

Emilia jumps a bit at Subaru's words, as she had thought she was hiding her true feelings from Subaru, but another reason she jumped was because of Subaru's smile.

It looked empty, and she could swear she could somehow see light radiating from his body.

"Hehe~ that's not a light Emilia-van, it's my amazing body!"

Subaru smiles grows wider.

He poses to show off his body, but unfortunately for him it only makes his look like a weirdo.

"..."

Emilia stays quiet as she stares.

The light that she saw had disappeared.

"You know too much Emilia."

Subaru immediately goes into a normal stance and tells her with a blank expression.

Emilia stares at Subaru's sudden mood switch with surprise.

"What do you mean?"

She asked.

She again felt a feeling that she shouldn't have said something, but––

"I'm killing myself."

"Uhm, I haven't asked you this before, but who is Thirth Person?"

Emilia timidly asked.

She didn't know why she had never asked him it, but there was something at the back of her mind telling her it wasn't a good time to do so, but she ignored it and still did asked.

"Ah."

Subaru looked down at the ground with a saddened expression.

Emilia immediately realized that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to ask him, as she saw the unusual sad expression on his face. She was going to tell him he didn't have to answer, but Subaru already was telling her.

He walked over to the bright window, leaned against it, and started talking.

"Thirth Person is actually my best friend that died."

Subaru says sadly.

Emilia could hear the pain in his voice, and on how hard it was for him to get out, something that Emilia felt bad for making him remember.

"It got ran over by a cute ass land dragon."

He was tracing his finger on the window as he told her.

"How horrible..."

Emilia muttered sadly.

She hadn't expected for that to actually be the person Subaru was always talking to, and now she felt bad for thinking weirdly of him for it.

Subaru backs away from the window and talks to Emilia face to face.

"Yeah it was, I saw Thirth Person get ran over infront of me, and even had it's blood pour all over me."

He smiles sadly.

"S-Subaru..."

Emilia was getting choked up hearing Subaru talk about his friend.

'You're about to see something incredible happen right now.'

Subaru thinks to himself.

Emilia slowly approaches Subaru and hugs him.

"I'm sorry for making you remember."

Emilia apologized.

She felt incredibly guilty for even bringing it up, and she wished she never even learned of it.

"You can cheer me up by letting me hit."

Subaru says, as he leans into Emilia's shoulder.

He was smirking – which luckily for him Emilia couldn't see – as he thought on how easily he had tricked Emilia.

Subaru had never had a friend, so the death of Thirth Person was just something Subaru was making up on the spot, just so he could not seem so crazy.

"I don't know what that means, but okay."

Emilia misses the innuendo from him, but nods her head as she tightens her arms around him.

"Sex scene incoming!"

"Uhm, I haven't asked you this before, but who is Thirth Person?"

Emilia timidly asked.

She didn't know why she had never asked him it, but there was something at the back of her mind telling her it was a good time to do so.

"Nobody. Just a bit I do."

Subaru winks towards... the sky.

Emilia looks to see what Subaru is looking at, but she doesn't see anything.

"Let's go meet the drill loli!"

He ignores Emilia's confusion, and walks past her and leaves the room.

He wanders through the hallways of the mansion, admiring the pieces of arts on the wall, with most of them being a man in what seemed like clown make-up, in a typical pose that you might see as a historic figure.

The boy was weirded out by the men in the paintings, but he couldn't help but find the art itself to be impressive. But there was one certain painting he liked.

"Hottie alert!"

Subaru exclaims.

He stopped below a painting of a beautiful woman, and unlike the other men in the paintings, the woman wasn't wearing as much make-up.

"That's Roswaal's grandmother."

Puck flies Infront of Subaru and tells him.

Subaru eyes look down and continues to walk through the hallways.

"The cutie is probably dead by now."

He sadly mutters to himself.

Emilia was following a few feet behind him, and was curious on why he was now sad, but Puck told her not to ask, so she didn't.

Subaru continues to walk forward almost as if he owns the place, and doesn't even bother to look around. Instead, he looked like he already had a destination in mind, despite never setting foot in anything but his room.

He walks for another minute and then he suddenly stops at a door. The door was just like any other door, but Subaru felt the door pulling him towards it.

"Let's recruit another party member!"

Subaru quickly rushes to the door, and busts open the door.

Inside the room was not a normal guest bedroom, but instead a large expansive library, that didn't even seem like it would be behind the seemingly normal door.

In the middle of the large library, sat a small little girl with long blonde hair, styled in drill-shaped blonde twintails, that perfectly fit her adorable appearance. She was sitting on a small stool, with a book in hand, and didn't even acknowledge the new presences.

"This is massive..."

Subaru takes a step inside the library and gawks at the size of it.

He thought it looked big from just looking into the room, but now that he was actually inside, he now knew it was bigger than he thought it was.

As he was walking around the library, Emilia stayed at the doorway of the library and looked surprised. She hadn't ever been inside the library, and yet Subaru somehow got in on his first time.

"Come on, Emilia-bin, this library is so cool!"

Subaru turned over to Emilia and beckoned her over.

He had stopped his walking and was now taking a random book from a shelf, something that finally caught the little girl's attention.

"How rude, I suppose."

The little girl mumbles under her breath, but Subaru heard it.

Subaru's eyes widen as he looks at the young girl, and he quickly strolls over to the little girl.

"There's even a loli here!"

Subaru points at the blonde little girl, as he looks over to Emilia.

He had a large smile on his face as he pointed at the young girl, something that greatly annoyed the little girl.

The little girl stood up from her stool and looks up to Subaru.

"You think you can just walk into Betty's library and act like you own the place."

She asks, annoyed, as she walks closer to the crazy boy.

"Pfft~"

Subaru covers his mouth as he tries his best not to go into a full fit of laughter.

He wasn't taking the girl seriously. All he saw Infront of him was a little ten year old girl, that was acting as if she owned the mansion, which he already knew some guy named Roswaal did.

"And you laugh in Betty's face!"

The little girl was no longer slightly annoyed, but now was actually angry by the boy.

"Hahaha~ sorry loli, but I can't take you serious!"

Subaru laughs hysterically.

He grabbed his stomach as he continued to laugh at the little girl's pouting face.

The girl's pout grew bigger, as she looked at the boy just laugh in her face.

"That's it!"

The little girl angrily exclaims.

With her now only being a few inches away from the boy, the little blonde girl slowly brings her hand up and places it onto Subaru's stomach.

Subaru stopped laughing as he looked at the little girl with her hand on his stomach, and just smiled at the little angry pout she held.

"Adorable."

Subaru looks down at the little girl's hand on his stomach, and just smiles as she angrily pouts.

The boy had no survival instincts, as he didn't even react to the sudden lack of feeling on his stomach. He just thought it was a weird feeling, but didn't even think the girl was the cause of it, nor did he try to stop the feeling.

"..."

The young girl held her pout as she looked up at Subaru, but she now held a slightly confused look on her face.

"What's up little one?"

Subaru kneeled down to her eye level, and smiled at the little girl.

"Betty isn't little!"

The little girl, Betty, finally has enough of the crazy boy's teasing, and holds her hands out to Subaru and sends him backwards with wind.

The boy gets flinged out of the library, flying past Emilia, and straight into a window, which luckily he didn't break. The door to the library magically closes by itself, then Emilia walks over to the hurt Subaru.

"Are you hurt?"

Emilia worriedly asks.

Subaru was clearly not fine, as he had a nose bleed and his left hand looked broken, but Emilia still naively asked if he was. He struggles to get up off the ground, but when he finally does, he smiles widely as he struggles to stand straight.

"Party member 7 aquired!"

Despite his less than stellar appearance, Subaru still managed to joke around.

"Uhm, I haven't asked you this before, but who is Thirth Person?"

Emilia timidly asked.

She didn't know why she was so nervous to ask, but she ignored her nervousness and still asked.

"Let's go visit the loli!"

Ignoring her question, Subaru quickly runs past Emilia, and starts sprinting through the hallway.

Just like the last loop, Subaru admired the paintings on the wall, and he again stared at the beautiful painting of the lady.

"Here we go!"

Subaru stops in front of a door, and then quickly pushes open the door, revealing the massive library. He walks in like he owns the place, and then stops infront of the little blonde girl.

"Hello Beatrice!"

He leans down to the girl's eye level and greets her with a smile. The young girl's eyes widen slightly, but then her eyes look at the crazy boy with suspicion in her little eyes.

"How do you know Betty?"

She asks accusatory.

She wanted to blow away the boy infront of her, but something in her little mind told her it wouldn't be a good idea.

"I did some research. Also no blowing me away, I'm not into kids."

He smirks at the little girl known as Beatrice. The little girl showed her dislike of the crazy boy referring to her as a kid, but she didn't tell him off on it, instead, questioning him again about knowing her name.

"Answer! How do you know Betty's name!"

She raised her voice at the boy, as she stood off her stool.

Many things were racing in the little girl's mind, but a certain thought kept coming back. A thought that made the little girl's glare slowly turn into a soft gaze. The crazy boy was a little surprised at the little girl's sudden switch up, but as he was going to tease Beatrice for it, the girl asked him a question.

"Are youthatperson?"

Beatrice looked at Subaru with a sad expression, as if she was looking for a yes from him.

Subaru felt a tightness in his chest. Although he joked alot and wasn't all there in the head, seeing how vulnerable the little Beatrice looked, made him feel something that he rarely felt for anyone other than himself.

He felt bad.

The more Beatrice looked at him, the more he wanted to give the little girl the answer she wanted, but he knew it wasn't the right thing to do. Yes, he could lie to the girl and tell her that he was that person, but he couldn't do such a thing.

He was crazy and sometimes he could be cruel, but he wasn't so cruel to just lie straight to the little girl's fac––

"I am."

Subaru calmly told the girl.

"—!"

Beatrice's eyes widen and she brings her little hand to her mouth. Subaru continues to smile at the little girl, and reached his hand out to pat the little girl's head.

"A-Are you really Betty's person?"

She mumbles, as tears start streaming down her cheeks.

Subaru once again felt a tightness in his chest, and he knew he had taken it too far. He knew he had to come clean and tell the girl he wasn't the person she was looking for.

"I am yours Beako."

He brings his hand to her face and wipes away the falling tears.

The little girl immediately jumped onto the raven-haired boy's body, and she cried her eyes out. She cried like she hadn't ever.

Although not apparent by her small appearance, Beatrice wasn't actually a little child. She wasn't even a human. No, she was actually a great spirit, just like Puck. But unlike Puck, she didn't have any real purpose.

The little girl's only "purpose", was guarding the library's books from potential thief's until "That Person" takes her out of the library. She had been guarding the library for four centuries already. The first few decades she was hopeful about "That Person", but after it had been a century, she had having doubts if they would ever show up.

"Hey Beako."

Subaru tries to pull the little spirit off him, but she held his body tightly.

He wanted to know what the little girl was crying abo––

"Tell me Beako, do you want me to kill you?"

Subaru's words caused the girl to flinch in the boy's arms, as the boy got her wishes spot on.

At one point in time, Beatrice truly wanted to meet "That Person". She wanted to spend time with That Person, and wanted to be cared for by That Person, but that was no longer.

Overtime, she had given up hope that they would ever show up, and if they ever did show up...

She wanted them to kill her.

She was tired of it. She didn't want to be lonely any longer.

"Y-Yes..."

Beatrice weakly mutters out.

"Well, I won't!"

Subaru smirks widely.

Beatrice turns her head up to Subaru, and looks slightly surprised at his smirk. She really did want him to kill her, but she was slightly taken aback that the boy didn't even seem to be all shocked.

"Of course I wouldn't be shocked, silly! I was the one that asked if you wanted me to kill you."

Subaru boops the little girl's nose.

Beatrice was confused on why he was suddenly acting so different, but her confusion was interrupted by Subaru picking her up.

"Ahh!"

"Sorry little loli, I, Subaru Natsuki, have a policy to never kill adorable librarian lolis named Beatrice." He smiles, as he spins around with the girl in his outstretched hands.

"P-Put Betty down!" Beatrice squirms in Subaru's hands, but is unsuccessful of getting out of Subaru's hold.

He continues to spin around with the little librarian, as she keeps yelling at the boy to let her go. Beatrice could have very well easily blown away the boy, but despite her words, she actually seemed to like being held by the boy.

"Ahh~" Finally, after a few minutes of spinning around the little girl, Subaru finally comes to a stop and catches his breath.

"Are you finally letting Betty down now." She asked the boy, annoyed. She indeed sounded annoyed, but Subaru could tell the little girl was somewhat enjoying his antics.

"I guess Subie will let Beako down, I suppose." He adopts a small frown, as he mimicks the little librarian.

The raven-haired boy placed the girl back on the ground, but the girl still held a pout on her little face.

"Are you making fun of Betty?" She glares up to the boy, but just like the other times she glared at the boy, Subaru just met her harsh stare with a smile.

"Let's make a contract!" Ignoring the little girl's glare yet again, Subaru proposes to form a contract.

Somehow the crazy boy had found out what contracts were in the fantasy world, and he also somehow knew that the girl was—in fact, not just a normal little girl.

His knowledge of things that he shouldn't even know of, is the only good thing to come of his mental illnesses, and yet even the amazing ability to somehow know of things he hadn't ever heard of, doesn't make up for the fact that he has to deal with the voices.

'Shut the fuck up Thirth Person! You're ruining this wholesome moment!'

"I'm not 'That Person' by the way!" He dropped a bombshell on the girl, acting as if he didn't just lead her on for a while, all while widely smiling at the little librarian.

Surprisingly, Beatrice wasn't all too surprised by the crazy boy telling her he lied about being "That Person". She had already come to the assumption that the boy had lied to her, and was more surprised at the boy wanting to make a contract with her.

"B-Betty can't." She clenches the hem of her dress, as she looks down to the ground, trying her best not to look at the boy.

Subaru had no idea how to convince the little librarian. Back at his home world, Subaru wasn't exactly the most likeable talker, in fact, many people were put off with his new personality. It also didn't help that Subaru didn't seem to care if his words were kind or crude.

But in this special case, Subaru actually did want to say the right words. He didn't know why, but in this specific situation, he felt a connection with the young girl.

"I return by—" Subaru mumbles under his breath.

"Shocking, I know. My PoV"

What do I say to this little loli?!

I didn't wanna spoil it for myself, but in-between chapters, I did some research(I read some fanfics of me on this site) and I saw that this little Loli was everywhere!

Apparently she becomes my little loli spirit a little later on, sooo...moving on! What's up with Thirth Person!? Is it mentally unwell, or something?

It just suddenly switches how it speaks to me(and you) and then it is also now treating me (slighty)better?! What happened to my Thirth Person!

I know it stopped talking for a few days, but then it comes back totally different? Something's not adding up...eh, it'll be fine.

Anyways, I just thought of the perfect way to talk this adorable loli into a contract! Let's get back to me saving this loli!

"Why can't you Beako?" The crazy boy kneels down to the little girl's height. He held his usual goofy smile on his face, as tears started streaming down the little librarian's cheeks, again.

"I-I need to guard this library..." She struggles to get out her words, as her tiny starts to shake.

"Why do you need to guard it?" He softly asks, with his voice being surprisingly gentle.

"F-For mother..." Tears started falling down from her face, falling down onto her dress. She didn't know why she told the boy the actual reason behind it, but she had unconsciously started to trust the boy, despite having only met the boy not even ten minutes prior.

Subaru didn't even look surprised at her tears falling down the little girl's face, and held the same goofy smile on his face.

"Is she forcing you? Child abuse is a big no-no for me." He softly spoke to her.

"..." Beatrice thought to herself for a moment. She wasn't too sure how to answer the crazy boy. She technically wasn't being forced by her mother, but she was confused on why she couldn't just say no.

"Ah, is she really?" Subaru's eyes widen slightly, as he hadn't actually thought her mother was forcing the little girl. And for a split second, a flicker of anger appeared in his eyes, but just as quick as it appeared, it disappeared.

"No, mother isn't forcing Betty, in fact..." She managed to tell him without stuttering, but the uncertainty was clear in her voice.

"Uncertainty in her voice, huh?" Subaru whispers to himself, as his smile had disappeared from his face.

Subaru was upset.

'Of course I'm upset, Thirth Person! My spirit loli is getting abused at home!' He screamed in his thoughts.

"Do you love your mother?" The smile made it's way back to his face, as he asked the little blonde girl.

Beatrice's head shoots up and her teary eyes meet Subaru's.

"Y-Yes, in fact!" Despite the tears falling down her face, Beatrice nodded and honestly told him.

"Would you want me to play a little prank on your mother?" His smile widens and wipes her tears away.

Beatrice looked confused at the boy. She did love her mother, and she had just told him of that fact, but yet he's asking if she wants him to prank her mother. And despite that she loved her mother, at the very back of the crevices of her mind, she had a small disdain for her mother.

Yes, her mother hadn't forced her in the library. Yes, she could have easily accepted the hands of ths many people who have came through the library's doors. She knew full well that she could have left way sooner, and yet she couldn't help but have that hidden disdain for her mother.

The longer she was around the boy, the more that hidden disdain was coming to the surface...

"F-Fine." And so she accepted. She looked off to the side, avoiding eye contact with the crazy boy.

"Good girl!" Subaru smiles widely to the little girl and pats her head, something that the small librarian seems to like.

He quickly shoots up from his kneeling postion, walks over to the stool in the middle of the room, and takes a step onto it. He points his finger to the sky, looks towards a corner of the library, and begins to speak.

"Hey Beako's mother! I don't like how you're treating Beako, so apologize right now! If you don't, I'll reveal everything!" He exclaims with a confident smirk.

"*sniff* You are stupid, in fact." She shakes her head at the boy's behavior, and it would seem as if she was insulting the boy, if not for the small smile on her face.

Seeing the small smile now on her face at the corner of his eyes, Subaru smirk widens as he continues.

"You want me to drop a bombshell?" He gazes over to the librarian for confirmation.

"..." She nodded, as her small smile had grown to a slightly bigger smile. She thought the boy was just trying to cheer her up, something the normally reserved girl was beginning to enjoy.

"You asked for it!" He throws a thumbs up at the little girl and then looks directly at... a corner.

He clears his throat, and then starts to speak, with his voice being surprisingly gentle, but scary to a certain person.

"Echidna, witch of greed... where do I begin? I know everything about you. I know what you look like, I know where you are, I know your secrets, I know what your tea is made of, I know you have the other witches with you, I know of your books, I know how you created Beako, I know that you aren't seeing the whole picture, I know that you have lost, I know that you are nothing, I know that you have zero knowledge, I know you are a fraud, I know of Sphinx, I know of your connection to some guy named Al, I know how to kill you, I know how to fulfill your dreams, I have knowledge you can never know, I know of Eridna, I know how to kill every trace of you, I can erase every trace of you, after all, you are just Echidna from Re:Zero. Would you want me to do so? Would you want me to erase everything that there is, or ever could be of you? I know what your plan is for me. You'll give me a contract, I'll reject the contract, you lose. I take your contract, you still lose. You aren't as good as you think you are, greedy beach. What else is there..." He softly says, all whilst holding a wide smirk.

The little spirit was shocked to her core. She didn't know how the boy knew; and she hadn't even know some of the things he was saying, but she was very taken aback by him knowing of her mother. And not just that, but also knowing about ALOT of details of her mother.

Subaru's smirk drops from his face and he steps off the stool, but he didn't look away from the... corner.

"Oh yeah! I don't actually hate you Dona!" He kindly smiled.

"Don't worry! I won't erase you! Hi Typhon and Daphne! Love ya, Carmilla, Minerva and Sekhemt!" He snaps his finger towards the place he was staring, as he sent a charming smile towards it.

"I super love you Echidna!" He forms a heart with his hands over his own heart.

Beatrice just stared at the crazy boy, as her mind was working overtime to try to understand everything. Subaru had just went on for a while about her mother, and yet he was now telling her that he loved her mother? And not just that, he was also talking to the other witches of sins?

The little librarian was so confused, that she had completely forgot what Subaru had asked of her earlier.

"So Beako, wanna form a contract?" He spins around and smiles at the little girl.

Beatrice surprisingly smiled at the eccentric antics fo the crazy boy, now finding his weird behavior stupid and funny.

"B-Betty will." She nodded her head, as her smile grew larger.

Subaru's long talking to her mother; even though her mother couldn't hear it, had somehow made her like Subaru even more than before. She didn't know where her liking towards the boy was coming from, but she had quickly learned to just accept it.

"Great! Just to remind you, I am not 'That Person'. I am Subaru Natsuki!" He reminds the little librarian, wanting to make the girl know of the fact.

"Betty knows, in fact." And yet she accepts. She knows full well that he isn't what her mother had told her of, but she didn't care about those words of her mother anymore.

She wanted to be Subaru's spirit.

"I, Subaru Natsuki, will treat your highness greatly!" He gets down on one knee, and takes the little girls hand into his grasp and plants a kiss on it.

"Y-You better!" She looks off to the side blushing, but held a smile on her adorable face.

"Loli obtained!"

In the dining room of the mansion, were the half-elf Emilia, the twin maids Rem and Ram, and the lord of the manor, Roswaal L Mathers.

Roswaal had returned back and had expected to see the black-haired boy, but was surprised and disappointed at not being able to see Subaru, with the same being with Emilia.

After he had ran off from his room, she had went back to her bedroom and was studying for the election, and then when Rem had told her the food was ready, she had expected to meet Subaru there, but was disappointed to not see the boy. Rem told her that she had went to his room, but that she hadn't seen him there.

Emilia was slightly worried about the boy. She knew how big the mansion was and how easily it was to get lost, so she debated if she should ask Rem to look for Subaru, but decided not to. And so, she stayed picking at her food, as she waited for Subaru, which she didn't have to wait long.

The doors to the dining room bursts open and in comes Subaru and Beatrice.

"I'm back beaches!" Subaru exclaims with a large smirk.

On top of Subaru's shoulders was Beatrice.

"Betty is here, beaches!" Beatrice held her own small smirk, copying Subaru's words.

"Ohh~ I guess you've~ met Beatrice~" Roswaal said, his eccentric voice making Subaru cringe.

"I don't care about that Thirth Person! I'm cringing because you're not even bothering to write out the clown's accent!" His yelling to his delusions return, as he rolls his eyes while yelling at the "thing".

"Lazy Thirth Person, in fact!" The little librarian didn't know what Subaru was talking about, but she wanted to fit in with the crazy boy, so she put up with it.

"She doesn't put up with it Thirth Person! Right, Beako?" He shakes his fist to the air and then looks up the his spirit on his shoulders.

"Betty's Subaru is correct, in fact!" Again, she didn't understand, but she went along with it.

Emilia, the maids and Roswaal, stared at the two confused, with Roswaal hiding his confusion the best between the four of them. The clown was going to ask why Beatrice was sitting on Subaru's shoulders, but she beat him to it.

"Betty is contracted to Subaru, I suppose!" She proudly smirks.

"Yup! I even got better contract rules than my canon self!" Subaru also proudly smirks.

"Hey Beako, I'll let you do the honors." Ignoring the stunned expressions of the four, Subaru signals for the little girl to lean her head down. Beatrice does so, and then Subaru whispers something into her ear.

"Huh? What does that mean?" She asked him, not fully understanding what he meant.

"Just say it Beako." He smiles up at the girl.

"Fine." She lets out a small sigh, still not understanding why he wanted to her to say what he told her.

"End the chapter, I suppose."
