Chapter 6

"Follow me, Percy," Dumbledore said. Percy followed him, passing countless of moving portraits and stairs.

Finally, they came to an eagle statue. "Lemon drop" Dumbledore said. Percy looked at him strangely. Is this guy okay?

But then, the statue started to move. It opened up, revealing a way to his office. Percy looked at it in awe. Mr.Dumbledore just smiled at him and continued walking. Percy ran after him, fearing he will lose him.

Harry and Annabeth were sitting there. Annabeth sighed in relief when she saw him. Harry waved at him. Percy tried to smile but he couldn't stop thinking about that... mirror. He looked at Annabeth. He saw himself with her in mirror. What does that mean?

Dumbledore asked Percy and Annabeth to go to another room for a moment. "I have to talk with Harry" he said. Annabeth and him nodded, and headed to another room next to it.

While Percy and Annabeth were waiting for them, thay glanced at each other. Percy looked at Annabeth uneasily. He saw himslef hugging her in that... mirror. They looked so happy. Percy wondered if they could be that happy since they were demigods, always in life or death situation, running from monsters and fighting non stop.

Annabeth waved her hand in front of her. "Are you zoning out?" she asked. Her gray eyes looked into his. Her eyes looked stormy, like there were too many thoughts running through her mind. Her blonde hair fell into her shoulder, curling in the end. She looked pretty, even tho they were covered in dirt and havent showered for 3 days.

"Percy?" Annabeth asked cautiously. Percy snapped back into the reality. He realized he had been staring at Annabeth like an idiot. Percy would have slapped himself if Annabeth wasnt looking. "I am just... glad that you are here with me" Percy stuttered. It was partly true. Without Annabeth, who knows what would have happened.

It seemed to take his abnormal behaviors off of Annabeth'd mind. Annabeth smiled and took his hand. "I am glad too" she said. But Percy can see little bit of sadness in her eyes. Percy figured she must be thinking about their world. "Hey" Percy put his hand on her shoulder. "We will find our way back". Annabeth looked up to him.

Right at that moment, Harry came in. He looked shocked and shaked up. "Professor Dumbledore... wants...wants to see... see you two now" Harry mumbled. Then he went to the corner and sat down. Percy made a mental note to himself to confort him after they are done talking with Mr.Dumbledore.

Mr.Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk. It was so dark and there was only one candle that lit up their way.

When they arrived at Mr.Dumbledore's desk, there was an only one chair. Harry must have sat there. Dumbledore looked at them being confused and laughed heartily. "My mistake, I forgot to put more chairs" he chuckled. He took out his wand and muttered something. A light shoot out of his wand and there was an another chair. Dumbledore gestured them to sit. Annabeth sat down, so Percy figured he have to sit down, too.

"Now, spill" Dumbledore said softly. Annabeth started talking. Apparently, Annabeth saw that there wasnt any point in lying. This was their best chance to get back home.

After they were done, Dumbledore nodded his head. He slowly looked up to them, and asked "Do you have any goddesses of magic?". Percy nodded. "Hecate, the goddess of magic and mist" he replied. Dumbledore stood up and gestured them to follow him. Annabeth and him slowly stood up and followed him. Percy was wondering where light was coming from until he saw Dumbledore's wand was creating light. It looked like a torch, except the light was white, not red and orange.

They came to some library thingy. Dumbledore tapped his wand on some portrait. It was a portrait of four people, wearing red, yellow, blue and green. After Dumbledore tapped his wand on it, a new portrait came out. "Hecate" Annabeth gasped. Percy looked at the portrait. Hecate had a black hair, which looked like its auburn in torch's light. She was holding torch, too, and there was a snake around her neck.

Dumbledore nodded his head, satisfied by Annabeth's answer. "There are four founders of our school" he started. "Hufflepuff" he pointed at the yellow one. "Griffyndor" the red one. "Ravenclaw" the blue one. "Slytherin" he pointed at the green one. "They got together and formed this school to teach young people how to use their magic abilities" he said. "People never knew that actually, they were all half siblings" he explained. "They are children of... Hecate?" Annabeth asked. "Yes" Dumbledore nodded. "In our world, there are not that much gods and goddesses. Only goddess that can come here is Hecate, goddess of magic" he ended. "What about Athena? Poseidon? Hades?" Annabeth questioned. "They rarely come here" Dumbledore replied. "To stop wizards and witches meet people like you, Hecate pulled a heavy magic, seperating our world, dividing it into dimensions. Im guessing your world is in mid 2000's, is it?" he asked. Annabeth nodded. "Does these two world run together or not?" Percy asked. He didnt wanna be 13 year old boy while all his friends are in their 20's or maybe even in their 40's.

"They run at the same time" Dumbledore smiled. "Those time gaps are because of the creation of both world. The Wizarding world was made during your dimension time, causing few centuries gap" he explained. "And when other gods come here, it drains their power and energy because its quite hard to travel between the dimensions. So they prefer staying in their own world" he looked towards Annabeth.

"Now, i bet that your heads are hurting from all those informations" he said warmly. "I suggest you guys go and sleep in that chamber where you guys waited for me. I will tell more informations for you tomorrow" he said. Annabeth and him nodded. When they arrived at that chamber, there were 3 beds. Harry was already on his, but Percy doubted he was asleep. He looked pretty shaken up earlier, whatever it was about. Percy crashed into his bed and immediately started snoring.
