The morning of the first of February, Sam was standing before the huge metal doors of the Wonka factory, still not quite believing the fact that, out of all the kids in the world that could have won this peculiar lottery, fortune chose his little brother. The faint hope of the whole situation being an odd dream often crossed his mind, only to disappear moments later every time he saw the golden ticket Charlie held tightly on one hand. The eighteen-year-old looked around, seeing all of the other lottery winners who looked just as nervous as him or Charlie. Little did anyone know; Sam was nervous for a totally different reason.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity and just as a distant clock tower struck ten, the heavy doors opened. A man and a lady came to greet them. He seemed to be on his sixties, had grey hair and was wearing a purple suit and a black top hat. She was younger, about forty-something, had curly hair and wore a long yellow dress. Both looked at their guests, excitement and joy clear on their faces.

Sam wondered who the woman was. He didn't know much about the chocolatier, but he figured in his mind he would be some kind of hermit, considering how protective he was of his candy-making secrets. And yet, judging by the way they interacted, it was clear the two of them were close. The lady was resting one hand on Mr. Wonka's shoulder, as if to give him support in case he got nervous, and every now and then he would smile at her kindly.

-! Welcome, children! Welcome to my factory! Please, come forward and introduce yourselves-Exclaimed the gentleman, fidgeting with a gold-handled cane he carried.

One by one, the kids approached the gates and stated their names. Augustus, Violet, Veruca, Mike, and finally Charlie, followed by their families. Willy greeted everyone with a firm handshake (This maybe was an understatement, for he almost broke their hands) while his companion introduced herself.

-I'm Noelia-She said smiling sweetly-Please forgive my father's enthusiasm. We hadn't had anyone visit us in a long time and he seems to be almost catatonic right now. But he means well.

-I heard that, just so you know, Noodle. -Mr. Wonka commented, though he didn't seem to be upset

The visiting group was taken aback. They had no idea the candy-maker had a daughter. But, considering the man had practically isolated himself from the world so many years ago, they figured anything could have happened. Before any of them could ponder about that anymore though, the chocolatier gestured for the group to follow them.

-Well, we better start with the tour now! -he exclaimed, practically running forward. -There's so little to see and so much time! Wait! Scratch that. Reverse it. And prepare for things you can't even imagine!

And with that, the two Bucket brothers joined the rest of the visitors who struggled to keep up with the energetic chocolatier and Noodle, who led the way behind him.

"Things we can't even imagine? I wonder what he meant by that…" Thought Sam. After all, what could be so particular about a chocolate factory?
