Striker is more than happy to comfort his baby girl.
Maria just sat there on the couch sniffling. She felt sad but she had no idea why. All she knew was that she wanted to cry, but she didn't wanna cry in front of daddy. At the same time, however, she wanted him to hold her and comfort her. He's always there when she needs him.
After about a minute or so, the impling couldn't hold it anymore and she began to cry. Striker entered the room just in time to see his daughter crying.
"Maria? Baby doll, what's the matter?"
"Daddy... I... I..."
His heart ached seeing her like this and he immediately walked to her side.
"C'mere, honey."
She went right into his open arms and let her tears fall. Striker didn't know why she was so sad, but he didn't care. He's gonna be there for her, even if she just wants to hold onto him.
"Shhh, shhh, shhh." he whispered holding her close. "Don't cry, baby girl. It's okay, I'm here."
Maria glanced up at him with watery eyes. "Thank you, daddy."
"Anytime, sweetie. Anytime."
