Light and darkness, energies that are always destined to collide, no matter the story behind them, simply... It's inevitable.

Unique Part: Opposites

Destruction, that was the only thing that could be seen in the city where all this disaster had begun. Everything lay completely in ruins; everything was destroyed by a being with unimaginable power, or should we address him as what he was, the spirit of origin.

However...

We are not referring to the true spirit of origin, but to an individual who managed to imitate the powers of a god: Isaac Ray Peram Westcott. He floated over the ruins of the city, wearing a black suit. At his side, a sphere of dense darkness floated, while on his face was reflected an expression of pure madness.

—Why?

A woman's voice echoed in front of him. It was the true spirit of origin, who protected the few humans who survived that catastrophe with a barrier of her angel.

—Why do you want to eliminate all humans?! None of them are responsible for what happened that day!

Hearing her, Isaac let out a cruel laugh and placed a hand on his face.

—Why? It's easy to say in your position, Deus! You've only seen a part of them! They're despicable beings who only seek their own benefit without caring about the consequences their stupid actions bring!

Deus widened her eyes at the answer, but she didn't allow Westcott's words to affect her, returning to her determined look.

—Yes, humans have flaws and make many mistakes, but that doesn't give you the right to kill them all! —The spirit shouted, raising her voice loudly—. They're not perfect, and they hurt each other, but they can also show kindness and love. It's part of who they are. How can you say you know them all by simply judging them?

Isaac smiled cruelly once Mio finished speaking.

—Don't you see? Humans are fundamentally cruel, human nature is nothing but hatred and fear. They're all slaves who crave power. If only you could understand that.

Despite that, Deus looked at Isaac for a moment and then shook his head.

—Humans aren't perfect, but I still believe in them. Yes, they sometimes make bad decisions, but they can also do good things. They have the capacity for both good and evil. No matter what you believe, Isaac, I will never let you destroy them!

Deus spoke those words firmly, making it clear to Westcott that he would not join him under any circumstances; however...

—She's right!

—Not all humans are bad!

Two unknown voices broke into the conversation between the two spirits; Deus turned to the group of humans to find out who they were. They were a girl and a boy, both with blue hair; at first glance it was clear that they were very similar to each other.

—A large part of humans may be bad, but the other part tries to make the world a better place!

Westcott looked at them and gave them a creepy smile that sent a chill down both of their spines. Then, he raised his hand, pointing at the group of humans.

—Qemetiel!

When Westcott raised his hand, Deus instantly reacted by summoning her angel, ready to defend the group of humans from what was to come.

She knew that what she would do next would end her friend's life, but it was the only way to eliminate the problem at its root.

"I'm sorry… but you leave me no other choice."

Saying that in her head, Deus raised her hand and pointed it at Westcott.

She had tried everything to avoid this outcome, but after everything that had happened, her friend was no longer salvageable. Minutes before, by trying to convince him, she had caused the total destruction of the city and the death of many innocent people.

—You will not kill any more humans, Isaac! Ain!

A great white light came out of his angel, colliding head-on with the dark attack of the second spirit of origin. The collision generated an immense explosion that enveloped everyone present and what little remained of the city, causing an enormous white flash.

Unlike the world we all know, the spirit observed the group of Wizards who summoned her and approached them curiously. That would be the first time that a new life form would interact with a human.

The group of Wizards, composed of Elliot, Isaac, Karen and Ellen, remained alert as the spirit approached them; however, Elliot overcame his fear and approached to start a conversation with the unknown girl.

Once in front of her, Elliot proposed that she accompany them, but instead of deceiving her, he decided to be honest and tell her the truth behind his actions; he explained that they would do several studies during her stay with the aim of obtaining more information about her power and her origin.

The spirit accepted Elliot's proposal; not having any knowledge of this world, it was her only option.

Thus, time passed, more exactly a year. They all lived in the same house, the group of Wizards treated her well and had become accustomed to her company, the most affected being Elliot and Karen, with whom she eventually formed a beautiful friendship.

Unfortunately, not everything would stay that way; Isaac, who treated everyone kindly, especially the spirit, one day stopped doing so and locked himself in the place where they performed the tests on the spirit of origin.

Elliot, Karen, Ellen, and the spirit, worried about his condition, tried everything to get him out of that place, but they did not achieve anything; in the end, Ellen managed to convince him with a little speech and Westcott let her in.

Days later, everything seemed to have returned to normal. Isaac was still locked up, but now with the small difference that Ellen supervised what he did. Or at least, that was how things were, until the day of birth arrived...
