Chapter 43 The New Galactic war
It's been a week since the new galactic war began since the Sith Empire returned due to Dooku finding an old project that resurrected the most Dangerous Sith from the days of the Old Republic.
Now the Legion and Sith Empire were at war with one another.
As of right now Tarkin was being flown to Kamino for a reason.
When he got off his shuttle he was escorted by special commandos as they made it inside.
Thats when he entered the room of the Prime Minister.
After the war was over an investigation was put into effect to see if anyone knew the true identity of the Chips. Surprisingly no one knew about order 66 or at least it's true purpose so they were left with a warning.
They planned to continue making clone troopers for the rest of the decade until things had officially settled down.
But now because of the war the productions would last even longer.
"So what reason do you have for visiting Grand Governor Tarkin?" The Prime Minister asked.
"Now that a new war has taken place and the Sith Empire has returned we need to advance not only the weapons program and increased demand for troopers but also for enhanced as well. Hence as of this moment I asked Kruger to have your facility to enhance clones with the best skills." Tarkin said before he and his best scientist looked at one another. "Is there a problem?" Tarkin asked.
"Well...I don't we think we can do that. You see...After the clone war ended and the investigation ended we decided to see if we could provide enhanced soldiers like from Earth as way to apologize for nearly destroying the Jedi and Republic from within. But...We ran into an unexpected development." The Prime Minister said.
"And what would that be?" Tarkin asked.
"We tried using the same methods Earth uses for making Enhanced individuals. Nothing worked." The Prime Minister said.
"What do you mean it didn't work?" Tarkin asked frowning.
"Exactly as it sounds. Nothing we did the same way Earth does worked on the clones. We ran this scenario through thousands of clones and they all came back negative." Nala Se said.
"There has to be some mistake. Perhaps a delayed reaction." Tarkin said.
"We monitored them for months. Earth's enhanced are 98% of the time instant with the rare 2% always days later cause they are the strongest like Captain Marvel, Alex Mercer, The Triplets and the most powerful being Doctor Manhattan. Nothing changed in them. No super strength, No flight, no power abilities, Not even simple enhancements in them such as endurance and intelligence." Nale Se said making him frown.
"Do you have a theory?" Tarkin asked.
"We have more than that. We did a scan of human DNA from Earth. And found something very peculiar. Heres the DNA of the clones of Jango." Nala Se said showing his DNA which looked normal. "Heres the DNA structure of someone who has not yet been enhanced from Earth." Nale Se said showing the DNA structure. This one however had small gaps in certain areas.
"What are these Gaps exactly?" Tarkin asked.
"These are where certain areas of the Body are placed for strength, Mind, Will and so on. And this is the structure of enhanced such as the one known as Starfire and her sister Blackfire." Nale Se said showing their DNA structure that had these gaps filled but were different from the clones and each other.
"We believe the reason Humans from Earth are capable of enhancement is because of these gaps in their DNA. It's impossible for us to replicate it at the moment since we don't know how. Clone force 99 have Mutated DNA which is impossible to control. We were lucky with the four we got." The Prime Minister said.
"Hmm. I see. What about mechanical enhancement like Section 9 and the Cyber Soldier program on Earth?" Tarkin asked.
"That we have had success with. Voluntary clones were placed on a project known as Project Mecha. Replacing limps and parts of the Body with Cybernetic replacements. The tests in that area have shown great results." Nala Se said.
"Continue with that then at the moment. I will inform the council on the other part." Tarkin said leaving.
Later
"No results at all?" Sean asked in hologram form.
"None. Which makes making enhanced soldiers more difficult if they can't be made from other worlds." Tarkin said.
"Rather curious that only Earth can have enhanced individuals." Thrawn said.
"I'm curious about that as well. If we offered the DNA of certain soldiers from Earth we would get the needed results but that would take too long and we don't have time to waste waiting for them to grow." Tarkin said.
"And I'm not willing to wait 10 damn years for a fully grown clone of Earth Origin. We already had to spend time during the seven months of peace to stop the clones from aging twice as fast to make them age like regular troops once they turned 18. What about Mechanical enhancements like Section 9 and the Cyber Solider program?" Sean asked.
"That they have had great success in. Project Mecha as they call it shows great promise. I recommend members of Section 9 that are the least required in the field to stay here and observe and train for a time." Tarkin said before an alert came up.
"What is it?" Thrawn asked.
"Hold that thought." Tarkin said ending his transmission before pulling up security footage in the hanger seeing a space bridge open up with several clones surrounding it.
Thats when some creature with four legs came out.
The most noticeable thing however though was that on both legs were what appeared to be blasters.
"What in the name of..." Tarkin tried to say before the front legs aimed at the troops before it started blasting them.
"Look out!" A clone commando yelled as they took cover as it blasted them with near perfect accuracy.
Thats when the Mechanically enhanced clones rushed in before blasting it but to no avail as it shrugged off the blasters before Hunter and his team rushed in and he threw his knife at the head making it roar as it exploded.
"The hell was that?" Wrecker asked.
"I have no idea." Crosshair said.
Tarkin saw all this and frowned knowing Grid had something to do with this.
Later
"What in the name of Hell?" Sean asked seeing the footage.
"This has Grid written all over it." Tarkin said.
"I agree. And this isn't an isolated attack." Thrawn said showing various attacks with various creatures attacking Legion forces. All of which had the Sith Empire symbol on them. (Basically Xana's monsters from Code Lyoko but have the Sith empire symbol on them instead of his)
"Hmm. So while we were repairing the galaxy from the damage of the clone wars they've stepped up their weapons projects to great lengths. Who knows what else they've made. I wouldn't be surprised if they made their own Jaegers." Tarkin said.
"Oh I have little doubt in that. The difference between the Separatists and the Sith empire is that the Separatists had to hold back the more ruthless projects or fear getting a cry of outrage from their senate. The Sith empire on the other hand doesn't have to hold back on any project no matter how savage or inhuman it is." Thrawn said.
"Yeah. Get back to Earth I'll have someone monitor the facility in a few days." Sean said.
"Of course." Tarkin said ending his transmission.
Later
"We have reason to believe the Empire is planning to attack the newly revitalized Tatooine." Mace said.
"Why attack there? The only thing we have is a small outpost and a new city." Rex said.
"Thats not the only thing thats there." Sean said pulling up holograms of Adamantium and Vibranium. "As everyone here knows these are two of the strongest metals in the galaxy that are only at the moment found on Earth." Sean said.
"Yeah we know that. What of it?" Motoko asked.
"Last I checked the planet before Abigor attacked had the most pathetic metal ore that degraded when dug out of the ground." Thanos said.
"Indeed...That is until the Titans showed up." Tarkin said as holograms of Godzilla and other Titans appeared. "As everyone here knows the Titans can terraform a planet like the ones Abigor attacked into Lush green worlds. They also have another effect on metals in the ground." Tarkin said.
"The radiation mutated the metals into either Adamantium or Vibranium." Sean said shocking all of them.
"Thats impossible. Nothing can just change so suddenly like that." Obi-Wan said.
"And yet it did. Proving the Titans are more powerful in their terraforming abilities than originally realized. The most worthless ore in the galaxy turned into the most valuable. And the Empire must have found out about this." Tarkin said.
"Pemela is in charge of the restoration projects. We'll need to alert her immediately." Sean said.
Later
Sean was in his labs working on various projects when Tarkin walked in.
"Any change in your abilities?" Tarkin asked.
"Nothing. I can't lead my troops out in the field if I can't use my powers. All I can do at the moment is coordinate from here until it comes back. But like the others said it could take months or even years. And we can't afford to wait that long." Sean said working on a new cruiser design.
"What is this exactly?" Tarkin asked.
"It's a new cruiser called a gravity well. Can pull ships out of hyperspace. I planned to use these to stop smuggling operations." Sean said. (Basically the ship that the empire had in Rebels that stopped ships from leaving)
"Very impressive." Tarkin said before seeing some pill. "And what is this? A strength enhancing pill?" Tarkin asked making him scoff.
"Not even fucking close. That is something I was working on when Revy and the others were pregnant. It's designed to speed up the progress of the pregnancy to instead of 9 months takes 2 months while providing nutrients and prevents disabilities and deformities." Sean said.
"Really? I assume it's finished?" Tarkin asked
"Yeah. But they're too far along to use now. Besides none of the clan have ever had those problems before so I didn't bother. Now that the new galactic war has started and obviously Revy, Ahsoka and Sabine won't be the only ones...This way our best aren't out of the field for too long a period of time." Sean said.
"An excellent idea." Tarkin said.
"Your still troubled about why only those from Earth can become enhanced and those from the rest of the galaxy can't. Aren't you?" Sean asked.
"That obvious? With enhancements from across the galaxy anything could be possible. And yet...Only those from Earth are capable of such power. Why is that?" Tarkin asked.
"Don't know. It could be the Genes...Or perhaps Amara did something before the rings were fired." Sean said.
"Too bad we can't ask Guilty Spark since he's missing. Only he could give us a clear answer as to why." Tarkin said before an alert came up.
"Now what?" Sean asked before a hologram of Chase Young appeared.
"It's been a long time Kruger." Chase said.
"Chase. So the Red Scorpions are now officially part of the Sith empire. Can't say I'm surprised." Sean said.
"What do you want?" Tarkin asked.
"I have a simple demand. Kruger surrenders himself to the empire at once. Or the new city on Tatooine gets destroyed with no survivors." Chase said showing they were on the planet with the people held hostage.
"This is cowardly for someone like you." Sean said.
"The empire does what it does. Now that there is no senate we do not need to hold back. You have two hours to surrender yourself...Or the people will be executed in the worst way imaginable." Chase said ending his transmission.
Later
"We can't just give into these demands." Shepherd said.
"Nor can we just ignore them." Yularen said.
"My powers are still gone. I go there and I'm a deadman." Sean said.
"And we can't afford to lose our leader. It'll leave our forces in disarray for a time. Something they'll use to their advantage." Thrawn said.
"Too bad Mystique isn't here to use her abilities to fool them." Anakin said.
"And the Skrulls would be killed easily when they find out they aren't you." Tarkin said before Sean grinned.
"There is someone I know who could actually not only take my appearance but also protect herself when they realize it's not me." Sean said.
"Oh? Another high level enhanced?" Thrawn asked.
"Low high ranking. She's up to the task. And some other help might be in order." Sean said.
Later
Chase waited patiently at the new city on Tatooine with his hostages with several Sith Warriors.
Thats when a Space bridge opened up before Sean in his armor appeared without his helmet.
"Ah Finally. You nobility makes you so predictable." Chase said.
"Let them go. A deal is a deal." Sean said.
"Of course." Chase said as they were allowed through the portal.
"This is almost too easy." One Sith said.
"Clearly you don't know him like I do. I was his father's old student 3,000 years ago. Like his father his weakness is the people. Makes him completely weak and pathetic that he would surrender himself so willingly." Chase said smugly before Sean smirked.
"Clearly you don't know how Darling clearly works." Sean said in a female voice.
"What!" Chase yelled before Sean's arm extended punching him into a wall before smacking away the Sith with ease.
"What is this?"
Sean began to morph before he turned into a she. A woman with short black hair white skin and blue eyes wearing a red battle dress.
"Hello Chase. Remember me?"
"Madam Rouge. Why am I not surprised." Chase said annoyed making her smirk. (Madam Rouge from Teen Titans 2003)
"You didn't seriously think Sean would give himself up so easily now did you? He's always ten steps ahead of everyone for a reason. Making contingency plans and plans within plans and so on. You on the other hand just make simple plans that are doomed to fail." Rouge said making him glare.
"Your still no match for all of us!" One Sith said making her grin .
"Now whoever said I was alone?" Rouge said before one of the Sith yelled as a knife went through his throat making them look seeing a woman with long black hair pale skin and yellow eyes in combat armor.
"DIE!" One of the Sith yelled trying to slash her but she dodged perfectly before slashing his throat with a knife.
"The Sith and Jedi are no longer the most powerful beings in the galaxy. Those from Earth are now." Rouge said before a large chunk of the ground was lifted up by a woman with tan skin long black hair in a ponytail and dark eyes before she slammed it down hard on a few Sith warriors.
"That was disappointing. But then again clearly these are low level Sith."
Thats when a woman with dark blue hair in a ponytail with white skin and golden eyes dashed in before slashing through several Sith with ease.
Chase frowned at this.
"I knew I should have brought higher level Sith. These ones are low level since they weren't the ones brought back from the days of the Old Republic." Chase said since Dooku started searching for more force sensitives to add to his army.
"This is your one chance. Surrender." Rouge said before a space bridge opened up.
"Another time then. But make no mistake. The war has begun." Chase said vanishing.
"Typical." Rouge said.
Later
"Very impressive." Tarkin said as the four were presented to the others.
"Madam Rouge is one of our best when it comes to infiltration since she can take anyone's form. Along with her elasticity and combat fighting." Sean said making her grin.
"You flatter me darling." Rouge said.
"Next we have Valmet. She's a special commando from Finland back home." Sean said making her smirk. (Valmet from Jormungand)
"To be able to take out Sith warriors with mere combat skills even low ranking ones is nothing short of impressive." Thrawn said.
"You'll find anyone can take down a Sith with the right skills." Sean said.
"Agreed." Tarkin said.
"Next we have Mary Marvel. Or as most call her Superwoman. Her powers are similar to Diana's. You could say they are Rivals." Sean said making her giggle. (Superwoman from Justice League Crisis on Two Earths. I was sure she was Lois at one point since thats who she was in the comics but I was wrong. Oh well this is better for this story)
"You make it sound like a bad thing." Mary said.
"Not at all. Finally we have Chifusa. She's from another clan back on Earth but a minor one who are gifted assassins." Sean said making her smile. (Chifusa from Manyuu Hikenchou)
"I see. So now officially the new war begins. And we've had some set backs in our objectives. Without new enhanced from other parts of the galaxy we'll have to hand pick those from Earth carefully." Tarkin said.
"Yeah. But even still our numbers are pretty much evenly matched. So for now we focus on the war. And win at all costs." Sean said.
Authors Note: And with that the new galactic war begins and it's gonna a hundred times more intense than the clone wars. One of you said I'm doing this just to keep the story going. Thats not true at all. I planned this all out carefully like I do with most of my stories. When I started out most of my stuff was random in ways that didn't really make much sense and lacked details. Nowadays I make sure it works out perfectly like this story.
