Chapter 44 Blue Shadow Virus
It's been a week since the new war had finally begun and with now both sides using everything they had to destroy the other.
Right now however.
"Sean honestly. We're fine." Ahsoka said as they were in the medical chambers since they were due any day now.
"Ahsoka I'm not taking chances. I have to lead the Legion which means I can't stay with you three 24/7 during the final days of your pregnancy. So you'll all be staying here incase you three go into labor." Sean said.
"Can't argue with that." Sabine said as Ann walked in.
"Don't worry I'll keep a close eye on him." Ann said.
"I'm sure you will." Sean said as he left.
Heading to the command room he saw various members of the council assembled.
"I assume you took them to the medical chambers." Tarkin said.
"Good guess. They're due any day now so naturally I want to keep them there incase they go into labor and I'm not there." Sean said.
"I see. Now." Tarkin said as a hologram of the galaxy appeared. "Our forces have engaged the empire on many fronts. Fortunately they haven't attempted to attack our most important planets like Earth, Cybertron and various others since they are heavily defended and have shields to prevent them from using Space bridges to launch a surprise attack." Tarkin said.
"Thats some good news." Sean said.
"However we did receive a transmission from the queen of Naboo. They claim there were droids and Zin found in the grasslands. Killed yes but it's disturbing they were there considering what happened last time." Qui-Gon said.
"Hmm. They could just be scouting. Still send Padme there to investigate. She might find something there." Sean said.
"I'll get right on it." Anakin said.
"We've also increased security around our restoration projects like Tatooine since the mines are top priority." Shepherd said.
"I have something in the works to help protect against invasion." Sean said.
After that everyone left.
"I am troubled that the Empire was spotted on Naboo. As one of the main factions of the legion we cannot afford to lose it." Tarkin said.
"So am I. Still it could be nothing. They could just be scouting the area." Sean said before the news turned on showing Connolly making him sigh.
"I would think he would no longer be on after the war was over." Tarkin said.
"I am telling people now that this new war is all Kruger's fault. He planned this with Dooku from the start with bringing the Sith empire back." Connolly said
"He is getting on my last nerve." Sean said.
"I beg the people of the galaxy to see reason and vote to disband this so called honorable legion and reinstate the Republic. They got the job done unlike Kruger's corrupt government." Connolly said before a wave of pink energy hit the tv making it explode.
"He is seriously pissing me off."
Sean turned and saw a girl with light graphite skin pink hair in horse shoe shape and pink slitted eyes.
"Jinx?" Sean asked making her smirk.
"Hey honey." Jinx said.
"Another enhanced?" Tarkin asked.
"Yup. Ever believed in bad luck?" Sean asked.
"On occasion." Tarkin said.
"Well, Jinx's enhancement is something of bad luck that runs in her favor. Imagine if you will an army standing over an inactive trap door. All she would need to do is blast it and it opens and sending them to their deaths." Sean said.
"I see. Though I'm curious as to why she's only appearing now." Tarkin said.
"You do realize not every enhanced could just join the war when the restrictions for enhanced was lift right? Some of us had to stay behind incase they launched another invasion." Jinx said.
"Ah I see. Thats a good point." Tarkin said seeing the logic in that.
"Though now because of this new war every other enhanced is gonna be joining in this time around. This time the only enhanced that will stay on Earth are the new ones who are just learning to control their powers...And Doctor Manhattan." Sean said.
"If he's the most powerful of all the enhanced in every category why isn't he involved like Miss Danvers?" Tarkin asked.
"There was...An incident that took place years before the Clone wars. It happened in Vietnam because of one of Norris's men." Jinx said.
"Oh? What exactly happened?" Tarkin asked.
"One of Norris's men killed a pregnant woman for a simple laugh...And was gonna kill everyone in the bar for mere amusement. The others tried to stop him but Jon in a moment of rage...Killed him and some of the men by accident because he lost control. He knew them and it...Well...Had a negative effect on him." Sean said.
"So now he chooses not to fight for fear of that happening again." Tarkin theorized.
"Basically. All that power at his command and losing control like that. Can you blame him?" Sean asked.
"No. I suppose I can't." Tarkin said.
"Still he'll fight if he has no choice and he does make himself feel useful by advancing technology since he has a very advanced mind. So he's still useful in his own way." Sean said.
"I see." Tarkin said.
Sean and Jinx walked off after that.
"It's good to see you again after all these years." Sean said to Jinx who smiled.
"I feel the same. Still I'm kinda annoyed you didn't invite me to the island when you were back for a month." Jinx said.
"Sorry. I didn't know where you and the others were and just wanted to relax." Sean said.
"Can't blame you for that." Jinx said.
"So...Are there any others here I should know about. I'd rather not have them make me look like an ass." Sean said making her giggle.
"Just a few. Now that the restrictions have been completely called off most of us are gonna be called in." Jinx said.
"Oh honey."
"Oh boy." Sean said turning around.
Who he saw was a muscular mature looking woman who had ivory colored skin with black hair in a pony tail with blue eyes wearing a purple apron battle dress.
"Hello Cattleya." Sean said making her smile. (Cattleya from Queens blade)
"And more show up." Kenobi said with Anakin next to him.
"Uh shouldn't you wear something a little less revealing." Anakin said.
"Whats wrong with this? Mileena, Kitana, Jade, Skarlet and Sheeva have revealing outfits and so does Ivy so whats wrong with mine?" Cattleya asked.
"Ok thats fair." Anakin said.
"At this point Modesty is our least concern." Tarkin said walking to them.
"True. Connolly would try to use that but no one would even care. Military uses a lot of tactics including seduction. All tactics are used for the sake of the mission when it's important. So I hardly consider this to be an issue." Sean said.
"I suppose." Kenobi said.
"Now was there something you needed?" Sean asked Tarkin.
"Yes...Senator Amidala has found something...Most disturbing." Tarkin said.
Later
Padme played them a recording in the tactical droid's memory banks.
"The Lab and Virus must not be found and Project Crawler must remain...Secret." The droid said before shutting down .
"Project Crawler?" Sean asked.
"The Empire has to be planning an invasion. It's the only logical answer." Typho said.
"Hmm. I don't think its just that. Theres more to it than that. They chose Naboo for a reason. We need to find out what that is. If there is a lab we need to know where it is before we send our forces in our they'll be on high alert and who knows what they'll do." Sean said.
"I agree." Mace said.
"As do I. Naboo is one of the main factions that makes the legion. We can't afford to lose it." Tarkin said.
"We might know where it is. Jar Jar found a special kind of bug that only comes from one place on Naboo." Padme said.
"And where is that?" Thrawn asked.
"The Eastern swamp under the Perlote trees." Padme said.
"Hmm. Get there and investigate quickly. We'll ready our forces for an assault." Sean said as she ended her transmission.
"Something else on your mind?" Anakin asked.
"It's this crawler project that has me concerned. The droid mention the virus so casually but labeled this project very secretly. Of the two I would say the later is more dangerous." Sean said.
"I completely agree. Virus's are generally easy to combat depending on what they are. And the Galvin could easily find a cure in days if not hours depending on what it is." Tarkin said.
"Lets hope it's that easy." Sean said.
Later
Padme and Jar Jar were in the Eastern Swamp looking for the lab.
"Keep your eyes open for anything suspicious." Padme said as they kept looking.
Thats when a camera came out of the ground and saw them.
"I suppose one can never have too many lab rats." A man said looking at them before turning to see a low ranking Sith warrior. "Please, escort our guests inside."
"With pleasure."
"Alive if you will."
"Fine."
Padme and Jar Jar continued to look before Jar Jar tripped and uncovered a hatch.
"A hatch." Jar Jar said.
"Looks like we found the Lab. Captain Typho I think we found it. Do a Geo scan of my location at once." Padme said before suddenly Grid's new creations known as Tarantulas came out of the ground and roared. (Remember Grid's new monsters are Xana's monsters from Code Lyoko so look them up)
"Uh oh." Jar Jar said
Minutes later
"Yousa let us go!" Jar Jar said.
"Who are you? Why are you holding us?" Padme asked before the man from before approached them and examined them.
"Wonderful specimens. Whats a life form like you doing in a swamp like this?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing." Padme said.
"Thanks to my compassionate friends in the Sith empire, I am creating life."
"Howsa yousa creating life?" Jar Jar asked.
"I'm so pleased you enquired. A demonstration is in order. Allow me to present the return of the infamous blue shadow virus." The man said holding some blue vile in hand.
"Blue Shadow Virus? I thought that deadly disease was eradicated thousands of years ago." Padme said.
"Yes it was wiped from the galaxy generations ago...But I have given it life once again!"
"Are you out of your mind! That disease killed millions of people before it was finally destroyed. Why would you want to bring it back?" Padme asked. (It makes more sense to use this episode now since the Sith Empire would do something like this while the Separatist senate would never approve while the Sith use every means to have victory. The death Star is proof enough of that)
"Did the disease do all that or was it people who kill each other for selfish reasons? Besides now I have improved it to make it even more deadly than ever."
"That and your project Crawler." Padme said making him blink.
"Who told you about that?" He asked approaching her.
"Your tactical droid had enough power to tell us about about the project name." Padme said making him laugh.
"That is actually Camula's project. I oversee it certainly. Her project is...Beautiful I might add."
"What is It?" Padme asked.
"Sadly it is not yet ready my dear. But no matter you won't be telling anyone about this."
Later
A space bridge opened up in the Palace hanger before Sean and the others walked out.
"Commander Kruger." Typho said.
"Wheres the Senator?" Tarkin asked.
"She hasn't returned yet. But we may have some disturbing news." Typho said.
"Don't we always?" Hunter asked.
"More than you can imagine." Typho said leading them to the labs before a droid head was seen on a table.
"So whats the problem now?" Jinx asked.
"We did a robolobotomy on the battle droids and found this piece of memory. You all need to see this." Typho said showing a recording of the man who captured Padme and Jar Jar.
"Now who in the hell is that?" Ivy asked.
"Dr. Nuvo Vindi, a senior medic for the Perma families. He vanished 10 years ago." Typho said.
"I believe I recall this case." Tarkin said.
"Looks like a bloody psychopath." Mei said.
"Your telling me." Crosshair said.
"Good news my soulless automaton friends! We now have enough of the Blue Shadow Virus to start making the bombs." Vindi said.
"Please tell me I did not just hear that." Sean said alarmed.
"The Blue Shadow Virus?" Anakin asked.
"It's an old Virus that was eradicated a long time ago. No life forms were immune to it." Tech said.
"Oh boy." Turok said.
"We only need to send bomb to each Key star system of the Legion." Vindi said.
"Oh! This is typical Sith BS! To win a war they'll do anything including bringing back a deadly plague from the past." Sean said pissed off.
"I'm not surprised." Kenobi said.
"There is some good news. Senator Amidala found the lab." Typho said showing the lab hologram.
"Place is enormous." Hunter said.
"I'm willing to bet for project Crawler. Anything unusual?" Sean asked.
"Theres an above level of Radiation in this room. Probably where the bombs are." Typho said showing it.
"Anything else?" Thrawn asked.
"Well...Theres a high level of Radiation in this room." Typho said showing the larger room.
"Hmm. Thats probably where Project Crawler is." Sean said.
"Whatever this project is we need to end it at once." Tarkin said.
"Ok heres the plan. We'll go in with multiple groups. Anakin, Deadshot and Jinx will go in one area and find the Doctor. Obi-Wan, Ivy and Mei will go in another to find and deactivate those bombs. Clone force 99 and I will go in another." Sean said.
"With respect sir I'm not sure you're in any condition to go in. Your powers still haven't returned." Hunter said.
"I appreciate the concern but a leader leads by example in the field. Besides if those three idiots learn I'm not joining the fight like the clone wars they'll use that against me and try to take power. Fail for sure but it's not worth the headache." Sean said.
"I'm afraid he's right." Tarkin said.
"All right then let's get moving." Deadshot said.
Later
A large number of gunships arrived at where the lab was at.
"Ok let's get this over with." Sean said.
"Bombs away!" Wrecker yelled dropping a few before multiple explosions went off.
Sean was quick to jump down first before pulling out a couple lightsabers before slashing through various enemies before a Sith warrior attacked him but Sean proved to be the better fighter and cut him in half.
"That was easy." Hunter said as they landed.
Anakin and his group jumped down next before a couple Sith warriors attacked them making Anakin Activate his lightsaber before fighting one of them while Jinx used her powers to make the ceiling fall down on the other.
"Too easy." Deadshot said firing single shots at the enemies just as Anakin killed the Sith warrior.
"So far we've only been fighting the new Sith Recruits. The ones from the Old Republic will be more dangerous." Anakin said.
Kenobi and his group landed next.
"We're in. We'll try to locate the bombs." Kenobi said.
"All right let's move." Hunter said before Sean started groaning holding his head.
"Sir?" Crosshair asked before Sean collapsed.
"Damnit I knew it." Hunter said as Wrecker picked him up. "General Kenobi we got a problem. Commander Kruger has collapsed." Hunter said.
"Collapsed? What happened?" Kenobi asked.
"We're not sure." Tech said.
"Get him out of firing range." Kenobi said.
"Roger that sir." Hunter said.
"Oh all the lousy times." Wrecker said as they rushed off while Sean was out cold.
Meanwhile
Sean found himself on a floating platform.
"What the hell? This isn't the lab. Where am I?" Sean asked.
"Calm your mind Young Kruger."
"Who's there?" Sean asked.
"I have summoned you here to help you."
Sean frowned before he saw a meditation center before flying to it.
"You seem to have abandoned your true calling. Like your father you are meant to have great power to bring peace to all."
"I haven't been able to use my powers since the end of the clone wars when I broke Abigor's magic and revived everyone who died during the war and those 10 years prior. who he used as undead warriors" Sean said.
"Yes. Doing do naturally drained your power. But I will help you unlock parts of it...And new powers that were known to many old members of the clan."
Sean got in the center before suddenly white flames surrounded him before he closed his eyes before a massive explosion occurred.
"Very impressive. This new power of the white flames will only harm your enemies while also healing your allies or leaving them untouched. And in time...I will help unlock more of your abilities."
"Why exactly are you helping me? Who are you?" Sean asked.
"You shall know me as the Chronicler. And a great evil is on the Horizon." The Chronicler said.
"If your referring to the Sith Empire..." Sean tried to say.
"No...They are not the true threat. Something much worse is coming in a few years. And you need to be ready." The Chronicler said before a bright light engulfed the place.
Meanwhile
Sean opened his eyes before seeing Hunter and his squad pinned down before he stood up.
"Sir?" Hunter said before Sean's helmet came off before he breathed White fire that reduced the enemy to complete ash before it engulfed the entire facility.
"WHOA!" Deadshot yelled as the enemy was burn to ash as Vindi yelled as he was thrown into a wall before he could electrocute Padme and Jar Jar.
Kenobi shielded himself but nothing happened as the whole facility was engulfed in white flames killing all Sith forces but Vindi who panted in fear.
"Whoa." Wrecker said in awe.
"Thats...New." Crosshair said.
"Sean? Was that you?" Anakin asked.
"Yeah...I'll explain later." Sean said.
Later
"Now. What is Project Crawler?" Sean asked Vindi who scoffed turning away. "Floyd." Sean said.
"My pleasure." Deadshot said stabbing him in the side making him scream in pain.
"Ouch." Rex said.
"FINE!" Vindi yelled as Deadshot pulled it out. "Project Crawler...Is Camula's...AHHHHH!" Vindi screamed as a seal activated on his head.
"OH SHIT!" Sean yelled trying to pull it off but his head exploded.
"Ok thats disgusting." Crosshair said.
"We need to get to that lab and find out what Camula is making." Sean said as they rushed off.
When they got to the lab door it was sealed shut.
"Wrecker." Sean said making him laugh before pulling out his Wu.
"Mikado Arm!" Wrecker yelled as his arms expanded before he tore the door right off and they rushed inside.
"Oh my god." Mei said in shock.
In the room were giant monsters that all looked the same in purple liquid cells.
"Like it?" Camula asked appearing from the shadows. "My own Titans if you will." Camula bragged.
"Disgusting." Madam Rouge said.
"I call them...Skull Crawlers. Still in the infancy stage but once they fully hatch...You'll have more problems on your hand." Camula said before snapping her fingers as she and her skull crawlers vanished.
"And we're screwed." Crosshair said.
Later
"So you finally got your powers back?" Tarkin asked.
"Some of them. I had some help." Sean said.
"Oh? From who?" Atlanta asked.
"From someone named...the Chronicler." Sean said shocking the older members of the clan.
"Impossible." Terrador said.
"Are we missing something here?" Tarkin asked.
"The Chronicler?" Cyril asked.
"I don't believe it Either. That name has not been heard in generations." Volteer said.
"No...It certainly has not." Ignitus said.
"HEY!" Sean yelled getting their attention. "We're all completely lost here." Sean said.
"I agree. Who is this Chronicler?" Tarkin asked rather confused about what had them on edge.
"The Chronicler is one of the oldest members of the Clan. Who's wisdom is immeasurable. Long before any member in this room was ever even born." Ignitus said.
"So like Draco he's one of the originals." Thrawn said.
"The only one left from those days actually. Every other was killed by Blood or other powerful beings who craved power. Technically speaking Hephaestus is currently the oldest one here amongst us." Ignitus said.
"But the Reemergence of the Chronicler is concerning." Terrador said.
"How so?" Tarkin asked.
"Tales of the Chronicler are often interwoven with tales of doom." Ignitus said.
"He did say there was a great evil on the horizon. But he said it wasn't the Sith. Something else is out there. Something ancient." Sean said.
"Whatever that is we'll find later." Tarkin said.
Later
Sean sighed as he walked through the halls thinking about this latest threat.
Thats when he bumped into someone.
"Sorry." Sean said before looking at who he bumped into.
It was a woman who had white skin pure white hair and blue eyes.
"My apologies I wasn't looking where I was going."
"You look familiar." Sean said.
"You've probably seen me before around the old temple on Coruscant. My name is Brianna." Brianna said. (Sora before you even ask she is from Star Wars)
"Ah I remember you now." Sean said before his communicator went off and Ann appeared. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"You might wanna get here real quick. All three of them went into labor." Ann said.
"At the same time? I expected it to be days apart." Sean said ending his transmission. "I'll see you around." Sean said leaving.
"Hmm. He's nothing at all like Atris said." Brianna said looking forward to more encounters with him.
Sean arrived in the medical chambers seeing all three yelling.
"I had expected you three to give birth on different days. Not the same one." Sean said holding Revy's hand.
"ARGH! I FUCKING HATE YOU FOR THIS YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Revy roared.
"Oh sure. You'll say differently when you give birth." Sean said making her growl.
Revy was the first to start delivering.
"AHHHHHHH!" Revy screamed before she heard soft crying making her sigh in relief as the medical droid took her baby away.
"Ugh...I don't want to do that again any time soon." Revy said making him chuckle before he went to Ahsoka next who started breathing heavily.
"Ugh." Ahsoka moaned.
"It's ok Ahsoka. Just breath." Sean said kissing her forehead as she started panting before she screamed before soft crying was heard making her sigh in relief as the droids took her baby away.
"Ugh...And I thought blasters hurt." Ahsoka said making him chuckle as he kissed her before walking to Sabine who was panting.
"Relax." Sean said.
"Ugh! Mandalorians are built for battle and yet I'm scared of this moment." Sabine said making him chuckle.
"Don't worry. You'll fine. Just breath." Sean said as she started breathing quicker.
"AHHHH!" Sabine screamed before she heard crying making her sigh as she laid back.
"Mmm. I am not doing this again till he or she is at least 10 years old." Sabine said making him chuckle before he walked back to Revy who was recovering before her baby in a blue blanket was brought to her as she held her son with tears in her eyes.
"He's...He's beautiful." Revy cried.
Her son had her skin texture while having her father's brown hair before he slowly opened his eyes showing he had her amber brown eyes before smiling at her as if he already knew who she was making her cry more as she held him close.
"He's perfect." Sean said rubbing his face making him laugh.
"Mommy loves you so much." Revy said making her son laugh.
"So what are you gonna name him?" Sean asked making her smile.
"Sean Ashburn Kruger Junior." Revy said as Junior yawned lightly making them smile as she kissed his forehead.
Walking to Ahsoka next her baby wrapped in a blue blanket was given to her making her smile as she held her son.
He had a human body with his father's skin and hair and had white markings on his body like his mother making her smile as he opened his eyes showing her had his mother's blue eyes and cooed making her cry.
"Oh honey." Ahsoka cried as she held him close. "Mommy's here." Ahsoka said kissing him making him laugh.
"Hmm. Got a name?" Sean asked making her smile as she looked at her son.
"Damian Kruger." Ahsoka said making Damian laugh causing her to smile as she held her son close.
"It's perfect." Sean said before walking to Sabine as her baby also in a blue blanket was brought to her making her smile.
Sabine held her son close as he had her skin color and natural black hair before he opened his eyes showing he had her brown eyes making her cry as she held him close.
"He's beautiful." Sabine cried making Sean smile as he looked at his son who looked at him and reached out making Sabine smile as she handed him to his father who held him.
"He looks a lot like his mother." Sean said making her smile. "So what are you gonna name him. I find it more fitting for the mother to name the son while I name the girls." Sean said making her giggle.
"I actually was thinking of the name of one of the best of my people during the days of the old Republic." Sabine said.
"Oh? What name would that be?" Sean asked.
"Canderous Wren Kruger." Sabine said making the now named Canderous laugh while she smiled as she took him back into her arms.
Sean smiled as he looked at his sons who were content with their mothers.
Today was a good day for him and his family and knew the numbers would rise even in war.
Whatever lied ahead of them they would face without question.
Authors Note: Holy shit! This was intense and very heartwarming. Now Sean has three sons from three different mothers. What is this threat the Chronicler warned him of? Does it have something to do with the Warning Blood told him about Orion? Or is it something even more dangerous? Find out in later chapters my friend. Next Chapter will have another lemon...Maybe two in one. Yes there are still girls in the harem yet to be seen since some just fit into this story and others well...You'll see why they're here soon enough like next Chapter. Now I will try to update my other stories during the weekend but for now my main focus is on the Return of an old Legend which is getting really interesting and I recommend you all to read.
