Karasuba couldn't say she was impressed with Hayato's mansion. It was massive and long easily a few blocks in length, but she had spent the most of her time in MBI's tower so even this little place couldn't compare. Though, its appearance wasn't exactly her primary focus it was just there, what her focus was pinpointed on were the dozens of Sekirei swarming around the place trying to look as menacing as possible.
And, failing miserably she'll add.
She already knew the information of every Ashikabi and Sekirei, who was winged, who wasn't, who was the most problematic, who had the most Sekirei overall, whatever it happened to be. She knew it. Hayato was in a close second with Higa for having the most Sekirei-over twenty. He was sixteen and had the typical rich boy life, having way too much at his fingertips and not having a clue what to do with it, now that same sixteen year old winged over twenty Sekirei and more than half through force.
Was this what Minaka had always went on about it during his ten hour rants?
The Sekirei Plan was full of possibilities and variables.
She shook the thought off. No sense in dwelling on that in particular, not when she had so many people to kill...
This was shaping up to be pretty good so far. Except, Ryu had been silent.
Of course Ryu didn't show any visible signs of fear or trepidation, if anything at all it was minor annoyance and slight wariness. He was anticipating this to be some sort of set up, or at the worst a declaration for lack of a better term war. It was something that she took note of and made it a point to stay focused on him.
The gates leading to the mansion were easily twenty feet in height and thickly welded no doubt their primary purpose to keep anyone unwanted out of the premises. It was cute at best since a Sekirei could rip them apart or just jump over the barrier altogether, but then they'd have a horde of Sekirei swarming them, so he supposed they served their purpose.
He stood in front of the gates for a long moment with his Sekirei flanking him. Hayato wanted to speak with him but couldn't even have the decency to allow him to make a prompt entrance, instead he had to be greeted by a Sekirei with short hair and wearing an obscene outfit that vaguely resembled a dress at the front gates. "Who are you?"
"Let us in or I'll kill you." Karasuba said coolly, giving the buxom woman known as Taki a baleful glance. "If I kill you, I'll have to listen to Mutsu gripe about it, and if I have to listen to that then I'm going to kill everyone else."
"I'm not going to try and stop her." Ryu added dryly.
Taki frowned at that. She had heard the rumor that Ryu was Karasuba's Ashikabi, at first she didn't honestly believe it. Karasuba was a killing machine, she'd taken out four of Hayato's Sekirei all with a stab through the chest. "She's your Sekirei?"
"That's right." Ryu and Karasuba answered in unison.
She turned her gaze onto Ahiko narrowing her eyes a bit more as she recalled the chase the woman led her on quite a bit ago, had she changed her outfit? Lastly she settled her eyes on both Miya and Karasuba a small shiver pulsing through her. "So, it's you." The woman said softly going through a series of complicated hand gestures that were supposed to unlock the gate.
Here I thought my outfit was obscene. Ahiko thought. I guess it's not so obscene now compared to her's and some of these Sekirei around here.
They pitched with a loud groan as they moved themselves apart and back. Nobody considered that they were automatic and didn't require anyone to move them by hand.
Ryu stepped forward briskly half annoyed with the treatment he and his Sekirei were receiving so far. Karasuba and Ahiko stepped in stride with him while Miya and Ahiko hung back scoping out their surroundings.
The front yard was most definitely beautiful and well kept, the grass wasn't too long nor did it look like shag rug, it had that golf course length and crispness. Either Hayato had his Sekirei handling such tasks or he was hiring someone to handle this, probably the last one if Miya had to guess. There were several cement pathways that snaked out in every direction leading to the mansion itself and behind it. This was good since that meant every pathway led to the same place regardless of which route they'd take, so when they entered all paths led to the mansion, and when they left all paths led to the exit.
There were several Sekirei mulling about staying on their guard and casting wary glances in their direction. Most likely they were acting as guards in case they tried anything funny or decided to launch an attack. Of course, they didn't know her identity as the Hannya of the North, but they seen Karasuba striding with Ryu and the Black Sekirei had more than a vicious reputation. Her mere presence was enough to put everyone within a two hundred mile radius on high alert, except for Ryu.
Miya didn't know when the two had gotten so comfortable around each other. Karasuba hated humans and Ryu wasn't one for mindless killing, something Karasuba relished in. Well, how and when didn't matter at this point at least the two had some common ground, even if the very idea was a daunting one. It was much better than Karasuba trying to kill him. She tossed the thought away as they stopped in front of the large double doors, there were large gold colored knobs, because there's no way that could be real gold. Two Sekirei were standing guard, Miya recognized one to be Himeko.
With a small bow Himeko stepped aside allowing them entrance to the mansion. "Please follow me, Hayato-sama is waiting for you."
Woow. Ahiko's eyes widened as she took in the new scenery. Everything was so... So fine and lavish, there was a red carpet leading up a staircase to her left that spiraled the higher it went. Tall cement or stone pillars lined both sides of the hallway they were led down, each pillar was situated on a cement block with intricate carvings and designs starting from the bottom and snaking all the way up to the top ending in a light half spiral. If that wasn't enough already there were paintings on the walls depicting animals, trees, and nature itself. Hayato's parents must have been rich. The texture and everything that was in this place screamed wealth.
She tried not to let the lavishness distract her from working out where the nearest exits were and if there were any dead ends. The task was made a bit more difficult as the Sekirei who was leading them-Taki seemed to be walking around in circles probably to negate her from doing just that. But, it didn't matter she got the gist of the layout. There were many staircases and stair sets, all of them spiraled or curled intricately leading up to the higher levels of the mansion and surprise another staircase.
"Would you check this place out..." Ahiko breathed out.
"Yeah, you can say that again." Toyotama nodded in agreement. She had never been one to desire such things, as long as she had Ryu and could spend time with him that was enough for her, whether they lived in a small house or a mansion didn't matter to her. Of course, she could admit that this was place nice though it was a bit overly extravagant. It wasn't really homey, but it was still very nice. "Makes you wonder if anyone gets lost in this maze." She pitched her gaze towards Taki who made no move that she even heard what she said-but with her Sekirei hearing that was most definite.
Finally, after another thirty minutes of tedious walking which consisted of Taki leading them in more circles trying to confuse and disorient them-for naught since Karasuba and Miya already had the whole place mapped out in their minds, they came upon a large set of oak doors. There was small conversation going on behind the doors, not quite loud enough to pick up on what was being said, but it was evident that something was being said. "Hayato-sama is behind here. Remember you are being watched." Her eyes lingered on Karasuba.
"I don't care." Ryu said lowly. He'd had enough to this stupid long walk, a walk that was designed to confuse him and his Sekirei as to the layout and how to navigate through the maze of stairs and hallways. It only added to his trepidation and assumption that Hayato was only looking to cause trouble, and this whole meeting was a mere setup to get him to drop his guard. He could be being paranoid, but he was going to factor every scenario and every worse case scenario that he could think of.
Taki gave him a baleful look before opening the door.
Hayato sat behind a large desk, far too big for his small frame. It was a sickly reminder of how ridiculous Minaka could be, Hayato wore an all white suit too and looked every bit as childish and entitled as he figured. Dozens of Sekirei were around him, but two stood out the most-a very developed woman with light brown-gray hair siky hair that fell to the nape of her neck wearing a very revealing kimono with chains? Looped in and around her breasts exposing a good bit of cleavage. There was a Sekirei crest on her... Forehead?
Who they call the broken one...? Ryu thought with a hint of hatred. Her name was... Akitsu?
She wore an expression of... Sadness? Indifference? The more he tried to decipher her the more he got lost, she was impossible to read.
Not like Mutsu who wore a mask of wariness.
These two were Hayato's strongest Sekirei by far, nothing compared to Miya... But, they were stronger than the good majority. Akitsu was a wild card, her power could be untamed perhaps she could be on par with Mutsu.
He shifted his hand onto the hilt of his sword-he always brought it with him now.
"Hello, Mutsu." Karasuba smiled wickedly.
Mutsu hissed softly.
"Can't even say hi?" Karasuba asked mockingly.
Mutsu shifted uneasily eyes never leaving her form for anything.
"Are you still mad about that time I beat your ass?" Karasuba asked, laughing softly when she seen him take one step forward.
"That's enough Karasuba, we're not here to start trouble. We're only hear to talk." Miya said briskly shooting the gray haired woman a stony glare. Several Hannya masks materialized around her. "If anyone tries to do anything..." Miya sighed softly resting a hand on her cheeks. "I'm afraid I'll have to retaliate so let's all just get along now."
"I agree." Mutsu shivered in fear... The last person he was expecting to show up was his former leader, of all the people to show up with Ryu. How had he even winged her?
Miya relinquished her dark aura and Hannya masks allowing everyone to breathe easily again and for some to simply breathe again.
"Scary." Several murmured.
"Ah, Ryu-san!" Hayato laughed nervously, greeting the dark wild haired man cheerfully, almost in a friendly manner. He wore a simple smile resting his chin on his clasped hands, not like Higa's stern and rigid posture and overall expression. That guy walked with a stick up his ass. "I'm happy that you came! You and your Sekirei can just take a seat right here." He gestured at a few chairs situated a few feet from the desk.
"I'll stand." Karasuba said.
Ryu sat down with the rest of his Sekirei. What was it that Hayato wanted? Even more, if Karasuba was present that means MBI had an invested interest in this whole ordeal overall... Which meant that more of the squad had to be close by. They were patrolling Teito with an iron fist ever since Haruka and Kuno escaped. Ever since that day. Was he entrapped?
"What do you want?" Ryu was direct and blunt. There was no sense in skating around the bush or trying to be deceptive, he was in his enemy's territory. He knew the layout better than he did, he had more Sekirei than he did, all around this wasn't going into advantage. So, perhaps being straightforward was the best route to go, he preferred being straightforward anyways.
"Well, you're straight to the point I see." Hayato acknowledged with a strange expression. Perhaps he was expecting something grand and over the top-this was the Sekirei Plan after all. If he thought it was going to be for his sole amusement and fulfillment of some twisted half cocked fantasy, well they were going to have problems from here on out. "In that case I'll be completely honest with you. I'd like to propose an alliance."
All of Ryu's Sekirei reacted the same way, raising their eyebrows. Some of Hayato's Sekirei even looked a bit shocked and surprised, after all this was the same man that got in their Ashikabi's way.
"Come again?" Ryu asked completely bemused.
Hayato continued to evaluate where he left off. "I know you have your share of issues with the Discipline Squad as do I..." He paused remembering Mitsuki's death due to her hasty actions, in hindsight she had been somewhat of a waste. Though he couldn't bring himself to forgive Koto for slaying her the way he had, he couldn't exactly regret her being gone. "There is also the issue with Higa of the east and that Sanada fellow in the west, if we join hands they won't be able to stop us, and together we will eliminate them from this game... Though if we do have to fight, then we'll do just that. We have to follow the rules after all."
Silence.
Ryu gave Hayato a close once over. There didn't seem to be any hints of deception or manipulation behind his words, his posture was too relaxed to be on edge trying to get one over on him. But, he still didn't trust Hayato as far as he could throw him, and even if that was pretty damn far he wasn't going to run the risk. Something like this always came with a price or catch there was just no way around it and it normally included something being hung over one's head or not so idle blackmail. the world was give and take-more take between the two. It was obvious Hayato has a plan of some sort, it would explain why he was so nonchalant despite their current conversation-or the fact Mutsu was present right at his side.
He didn't like how he called this a game.
This was not a game to him, and fuck the rules!
Ryu narrowed his eyes critically. "What's the catch?" Normally he'd consider the if we do have to fight then we'll just that as the catch to something like this, but with Hayato that couldn't be the catch. It was too tame, too easy, he wanted something grand and spectacular he believed he was playing a simple game and he was just a participant.
Hayato giggled. "Well, you sure are as perceptive and sharp as they say." He looked over the dark haired man who he had heard so much about. The same man who fought Mutsu, the same man who prevented his taking of the Green Girl. He could kill him right here and now, those had been his intentions before, but seeing Karasuba present put a wrench into that, even Mutsu was wary of her. There was also Ahiko and Toyotama present both of them very strong in their own right, and there was Miya, who he knew little about but judging from Mutsu's stiff and ready posture she was even more scary than Karasuba. "I know we never got off on the right foot. I wanted the Green Girl-Kusano. You and that Minato got in my way, you fought Mutsu, and Minato eventually winged Kusano taking away my prize. There's also the fact Karasuba has eliminated several of my Sekirei..." He turned his focus onto the gray haired woman noting that crazed smirk on her face. "I could have all of my Sekirei attack you now, but that's against the rules, and it wouldn't play out into my favor so I have another means."
Toyotama and Ahiko shared a long glance. They had been anticipating as much, that this was nothing more than a set up to get them into the enemy territory. They were right on the money, Ahiko didn't trust Hayato, and Toyotama simply hated the little brat and wouldn't trust him with anything. A full out fight was going to result in nothing short of death, with Miya present it'd just take one swing and everyone for the next two hundred miles would be buried under rubble and debris. It was also common knowledge Karasuba went after Sekirei, especially those who tried to confront her.
It begged the question what was this other means? Would Ryu need to choose one of them to be a scapegoat, nothing more than a sacrifice for an alliance? If that were the case things were going to turn sour, because Ryu would never agree to something like that and that is the end of the story there, but Hayato must have been confident if he could say things so easily. Though, given how he's blurring the line between fantasy and reality, and had dozens of Sekirei it could come off as no surprise he was so assured.
Toyotama didn't trust it even for a second and she knew Ahiko was in the same boat as her.
Though, she couldn't say the same for the trio in front of her. Karasuba stood poised and firm as always, Miya looked ever the stoic woman that she truly was, and Ryu... Well, Ryu just stared at Hayato with intensity she was used to seeing from him, the same that would make her heart race and her breathing pick up. Was he actually considering this? Were Karasuba and Miya considering this?
"What is that means?" Miya asked carefully, breaking the bout of silence. She was at one point well informed of every possible competitor beyond just Matsu's readings. Back when she was leading the first generation with the first Demon Commander taking the helm of all decisions and group ethics, Minaka hadn't been rambling on about it then like he does now, but the signs of that complete lunacy were there. Hayato had been one of the few that she could even consider a threat while not as ruthless or cunning as Higa he was forceful and deluded, a deadly combination. She slowly turned her focus onto Ryu, their eyes met.
"And, if I don't like it I may just stab you in the eye." Karasuba said ominously staring at him with disdain.
"Karasuba..." Mutsu growled in warning.
Whether he wasn't paying attention or cared about the small standoff between the two single numbers nobody could guess, but Hayato continued on elaborating on what he said before looking particularly excited as if he had somehow outdone himself. "As you have seen I have a lot of Sekirei, with Mutsu and Akitsu here being two of my strongest. I know you've lost three of your Sekirei in that battle you had before, so I'll even things out and give you three of my Sekirei as trophies."
Both Miya and Karasuba narrowed their eyes dangerously while Ahiko, Toyotama, and Ryu settled on glaring.
Ryu turned his focus onto Hayato's Sekirei all of them looking warily at him, pleading with him silently to not agree it seemed.
"Trophies?" Toyotama hissed.
"That's right!" Hayato smiled at her, putting his focus back onto Ryu. "You see I want an alliance between us, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Surely three Sekirei as your trophies will be more than enough to satisfy you."
"I'd say you've lost your mind." Ahiko commented.
"Ryu." Toyotama looked at him. "You're not really considering this?!"
"I can't agree with this." Miya said sternly, eyes narrowing to slits. "Treating the Sekirei in such a manner is unforgivable."
"And, I sure as hell don't." Karasuba growled.
"Why don't you let your Ashikabi decide?" Mutsu spoke up.
"I could cut you to ribbons now, but why am I standing here playing nice?" Karasuba drawled. Mutsu. It was just like him to go along with whatever Hayato was cooking up, he used to do the exact opposite when he was on the squad... You never questioned Miya or the Demon Commander period. Mutsu had done it though many of times, whether he was a brazen bastard or just wanted to walk to the beat of his own drum didn't really matter in her eyes. He was nothing short of a pest, who should have been killed long ago.
"If you even try..." Mutsu hissed.
"Are you going to get mad and throw rocks at me?" Karasuba asked mockingly.
"Why would you give me three of your Sekirei?" Ryu asked slowly and carefully bringing the meeting back to the point. They could never be his to start out with-and he refused to use that technique for lack of a better term he used before. It just wasn't right, even if they had a spoiled brat of an Ashikabi they were bonded completely and that's one thing he wouldn't break. He knew how powerful and deep it was having lost it three times all in unison. More importantly, didn't Hayato love his Sekirei, didn't he feel the need to be with them? Protect them? Cherish them?
"You've lost three so I'll give you three to even it out. Think of it was a peace treaty or something between us." Hayato waved his hand dismissively. Clearly he wasn't expecting Ryu to question this.
"We're done here." Miya said sharply.
"You know they can't be my Sekirei, what's the point in doing something so asinine?" Ryu questioned.
"Oh." Hayato laughed for a few moments, slowly gathering himself and cupping his hands in front of himself. "I see you misunderstand. When I said I'd give you three of my Sekirei as trophies I actually meant that. They will not be walking and talking with you or anything of that sort, they'll only be trophies. A sign of our alliance in this game."
Everyone looked horrified hearing this, even Mutsu looked with shock and mild disgust.
A game... This was all a game to this little brat!? He shouldn't have been surprised at hearing such things, Higa was just an asshole beyond an asshole and took pride in it. He hated every single one of his Sekirei. This was something more suited for him, but he'd never give up any of his Sekirei for any reason. Hayato was viewing the Sekirei's lives as nothing more than toys, as if they had no feelings or fears, viewing this whole thing as nothing more than a game. Yashima... Yomi... Nanaha, they all fought and risked their lives... They lost their lives, and that was supposed to be a game!? "Don't tell me you actually intend to turn them into trophies..."
"I do!" Hayato didn't seem the least bit abashed or ashamed. "I'll dip them in gold for you right now."
"Little bitch..." Toyotama grated.
Hayato was dangerous. Not only did he not care about the lives of the Sekirei, or the people he effected with his folly... He was starting to blur the lines between reality and fantasy. It was lunacy. Dangerous. He could save three Sekirei from this little brat now, being dipped into gold had to be the same as being deactivated or something along those lines? Or did they stay in a stasis of some sort or comatose state?
"I'm going to decline your offer." Ryu practically snarled. "I don't want to hear anything else you have to say."
"Well, in that case..." Hayato moved his hand under the table.
This little motherfucker just pulled out a gin on him...
Ryu reacted in a heartbeat, first punching him across the face feeling the bones buckle in his face, and then snarled slamming his face down into the table grabbing his skinny neck with one strong hand.
"You little shit?!" Ryu barked ignoring the deadly eyes trained him from the Sekirei surrounding him, Akitsu's hand open and up as Mutsu drew his sword pressing it behind his back.
"I could crush your throat like a soda can!"
"Acckgghhh!" Hayato choked pitifully. Struggling to get air into his lungs.
"Let him go!" Mutsu hissed, feeling Ryu's sword poking his stomach another blade was pressed against the small of his back while a staff was just an inch from his cheek.
"I dare you." Toyotama glowered. "I don't care if you're a single number I'll gut you like a pig stupid bastard."
"You stab me and I'll stab you." Ryu told Mutsu coldly, tightening his squeeze on the hapless Ashikabi in front of him unsheathing his sword and pressing it against the man's sternum.
"Let my Ashikabi-sama go..." Akitsu growled out in warning, training her hand towards Ryu only for a multitude of shadows to snake and coil across the room clasping onto anyone that wasn't expecting it or wasn't paying any attention.
"You better watch yourself." Ahiko hissed venomously, focusing for a moment and lashing out her shadows towards Akitsu wrapping one around her waist slowly starting to constrict her. "You make one move and I'll make you pop like a balloon."
"I'm going to kill him." Ryu said coldly. "Too bad we won't get to fight again, Mutsu."
"I won't let you!" Mutsu snarled focusing his energy sharply.
"Stand down now, Mutsu." Miya addressed him in a stern and cold fashion, one hand moving for the hilt of her sword. "Tell the rest of them to stand down too."
"He lets go first." Mutsu hissed.
"Don't make me repeat myself." Miya glared a ghastly glare at the gray haired man forcing him to shiver and the room to drop a few dozen degrees. "I will peel off your skin layer by layer, do not try my patience.
If he didn't keep his sword pressed against Ryu there's a chance he'd crush Hayato's throat, for this reason he couldn't simply stand down. There was also Karasuba and Toyotama flanking him from the back and side, and Ahiko forcing shadows to restrict everyone's movement and even crawl and wiggle across the walls hanging down like willow branches. If he dropped his weapon first Ryu could take that opening or Toyotama and Karasuba could take that opening on him.
"Ryu, let him go." Miya commanded.
She had more than enough of this fiasco, it was just something to feel Ryu out and his Sekirei. Perhaps come up with a strategy later on to deal with him, Hayato already admitted he thought of killing them all from the start-not that it'd ever happen with Karasuba and her around. Karasuba was just looking for a reason to run her blade through someone.
"Killing him would only soil your hands, don't tarnish yourself or your kenjutsu over him."
It'd be so easy to crush his neck right now, crush this brat's little skinny turkey neck. But, it wouldn't be very wise Mutsu was behind him, Akitsu was still gathering ice around them, and Ahiko was lashing her shadows all around in a wild frenzy. Doing anything foolhardy now would result in him being injured as well as his Sekirei, if Miya took one swing with her sword... This mansion wouldn't even be on the face of the earth, but he couldn't let this little brat get away with this.
"Tch." Ryu scoffed, throwing Hayato back sending him crashing into his chair. He barely noted Mutsu sheathing his sword and Akitsu forcing the ice to recede, he couldn't care less about them. All he wanted to do was hurt Hayato, this little fucker besmirched Yashima's, Yomi's, and Nanaha's efforts and lives, he thought he could just replace them with three of his Sekirei as if he took pity on him. He never needed or wanted anyone's pity. Using a Sekirei as a front, and trying to shoot him...Force him to submit...This little motherfucker.
"You're nothing but a little brat, you had better hope we never cross paths again because if we do I assure you it will be your death!"
"I had heard you're half Sekirei." Hayato said haughtily. "What's wrong with me winging you if that's the case?"
"Believing rumors like that is nothing short of stupid, it will cost you your life." Ryu hissed, he was more angry than surprised that he didn't even react to that bit of information...
He hadn't questioned his origins so to speak, but he felt it was more and more unlikely that he wasn't half Sekirei... Minaka could have easily pulled some strings and get that little snippet to become a fact.
After all he had enough cunning and wit to take out Takehito who was a key part in preventing the Sekirei Plan, break Miya's spirit to the point she doesn't even have a nerve to fight, somehow keep Karasuba under him, if Ryu knew anything at this point it was Minaka was insane and couldn't be trusted.
"If I ever see you again I will kill you. Stay close to your Sekirei, you will need their bodies as shields."
"Ryu, let's go I want to leave." Toyotama said grabbing onto his arm. "Please, don't waste anymore time with him. I just want to go home."
If they didn't leave now Ryu was really going to kill someone, she could feel his killing intent smothering everything, he wanted to inflict pain on this brat and she couldn't blame him. But, doing it now of all times wouldn't be good. Karasuba was present which meant the squad was lurking around close by. Nothing was going to play out in their favor.
"If any single one of you even look at my Ashikabi I'll send your head flying." Karasuba threatened coldly, pointing the tip of her sword forward locking eyes with each of the Sekirei letting her gaze linger on Mutsu.
"You should consider yourselves lucky I was tasked with making sure he didn't go on a rampage otherwise you'd have a crushed throat." Karasuba looked at Hayato for a moment before smirking.
"Ryu, let's get out of here."
Ryu stiffly cracked his neck, rising up from his chair letting Toyotama and Ahiko guide him out by both arms. "Fine." He conceded offering no resistance as another one of Hayato's Sekirei led them out swiftly casting wary glances behind her back every so often. Ryu had been so damn fast and quick she didn't have time to react in the span of time it took him to bash her Ashikabi's face against the desk and grab him by the throat. And, he had Karasuba as his Sekirei on top of it.
Ryu didn't say a word the entire way back to the inn. He was too busy fuming, Hayato was an arrogant little bastard. He took advantage of the Sekirei, and viewed them as nothing more than toys that he could just give away if he as much pleased to. Nevermind the bond that the Sekirei shared with their Ashikabi. Perhaps Hayato's whole goal was an alliance, but they couldn't be any more further off from that now. Maybe he'd see this little shit in the near future and put him down for the count, too bad for his Sekirei.
"I'll see you sometime soon." Karasuba pulled him out of his musings with a passionate kiss, leering into his eyes. "You really made me excited back there." She winked before turning on her heel flashing Miya a smirk before leaping onto a nearby rooftop quickly disappearing as she bounded across the city with ease.
"Ryu-san, would you like to stay for a while?" Miya asked, carefully observing him with her violet eyes. He had been a hair close to killing Hayato back there, which means she was a hair close to swinging her sword and leveling more than half of Teito. That was way too close for comfort, just what had Hayato been thinking back there, and how did he know that Ryu was half Sekirei...? Minaka, he couldn't have sent out a mass text message with that information because they'd be swarmed right now if that were the case.
"I wouldn't really mind." Toyotama said with a light shrug, keeping a hold of his arm. "I'm not in a hurry to see Uzume."
"Is it okay with you, Ryu?" Ahiko asked him gently. It would be better to get back to their home and relax, when he got angry like this it would linger for awhile and he'd be dead silent the whole time just brooding. Being around Tsukiumi wouldn't do him any favors, the two couldn't stand each other and while she got along with the haughty blonde to some extent. Ryu didn't and never has.
Ryu groaned softly. He was angry... Wanted to hit something, slash something, smash somebody... He didn't want to be within five hundred feet of Tsukiumi, but he couldn't let his anger get in the way of his Sekirei's efforts that was just cruel. "I can stay for a little while." He finally said, giving the front of Maison Izumo a quick glance, there was of course noise echoing from the inside, though not as loud as it would have been at some point in time. Who knew Yume was so keen on discipline?
"I'll make us some tea." Miya said with a graceful smile, sauntering into her home immediately greeted by Musubi and Kusano.
"Why did you want to come here?" Ahiko asked, peering at Toyotama.
"Because, Uzume is probably ass naked still and unlike her I have modesty and value privacy." Toyotama replied smoothly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Let's get inside before Ryu runs back there."
"Good idea." Ahiko nodded dragging him inside with Toyotama following suit.
Hopefully Hayato would take the hint and back off, but seeing how he acts in person she highly doubted that... Well, they'd deal with it when the time came, but it didn't mean they couldn't be well prepared.
This really is nothing less than a war... She thought with a solemn expression. We have to stick together no matter what...
