Hey guys! So, I'll be doing a comment reaction... thing, I am bad at explaining things when needed. I'll be reading all your comments and giving my thoughts on the story.

Masterx01: To address your concerns with how the last couple chapters had ended, I'll just say this:

I am constanly working hard to make sure the chapters I put out are in the best possible quality to be enjoyed by all. Your comments about the narration and dialogue being dull, I understand well, I don't write like any another Toaru fanfic writer would. However this is partly intentional on my part as I want the story to have its own style and flavor. I don't want to spend much time showcasing every single nook and cranny of the locations, I'm not good with the details and such, which is why I don't focus on them as much as others do. You may not like it and I completely understand, but I'm not changing that bit anytime soon. Maybe when I get the hang of things I might.

Also... I dunno, the Toaru series is basically a decades-long melodrama story of sorts, I'm rather surprised you considered the Touma and Misaki scene to be too exaggerated. I certainly don't think so. At least in my opinion.

That said I do appreciate your words of wisdom, I will keep writing this story for as long as I can, reviews like yours keep me going.

So thanks for your reviews, and I hope you enjoyed this chapter!

onilink500: Ayu Mitsuari es básicamente Gwen Stacy de Kamijou, por lo que la historia prácticamente se escribe sola.

En cuanto a los trajes, tengo planes, definitivamente no será spandex, te lo diré.

nagaro2lvl1: I hope I don't disappoint you with this one, good sir.

Fortitude501: Can't seem to transfer everything from Wattpad to here cleanly. I'll make sure it'll be proper this time.

Disclaimer: Toaru Series is owned by Kazuma Kamachi, while Spider-Man is owned by Marvel. I do not profit from this story, I made this for fun.

Touma hummed a happy tune as he rode the train to Seventh Mist, but he can't help notice only a few people on the car he was on.

"That's weird, the train's usually full in this time of month..."

As he rode on the train his thoughts went to 3 days ago when he saved Kaito and Mirai from the rogue esper.

He talked about something like a Level Upper.

"What was that all about? Jeez I wonder what is going on in this city?" Kamijou thought to himself.

He got off on the station where the mall was. Checking his pockets he found his wallet and took it out. He opened it to check how much he had on him (but not before looking around to spot for thieves).

"Hmm... 100, 200... 5000, just enough for what I need." He said to himself as he got off the train.

As he walked to the mall he felt someone tug on his shirt. He turned around to see a little girl, around 5-6 years old tugging at his shirt.

"Hey there, can I help you?" He said to her as he knelt down.

"I want to buy a dress, but I don't know where the store is. Can you help me find where I can buy a dress?" The girl asked.

Touma stared at the little girl. He looked around for a little while. "Where's your guardian? Aren't you supposed to be joined with her caretaker or something?" He asked the girl.

"I came here by myself. I thought I could buy a dress myself. But there are so many people around, and this place is so big... *sob* This was a bad idea..." The girl started to sob without warning.

Touma, not wanting to be implicated in anything with the girl, readily agreed to take her on a shopping trip to the mall.

--

"Well, this is a real pickle," Touma blurted out as he looked in front of him, an array of dresses hanging off the stands. 'What to pick what to pick what to pick...' With the little girl in tow, he went to the children's clothes section to get a dress for her.

"Oh oh I want this one!"

"Well go on ahead, try it out." As the girl went inside the changing room Touma was left alone in the store.

Feeling bored, he left the store and walked around the hallway for while, his thoughts going back just a few weeks ago...

Over the course of Touma had to learn a lot about his powers, how they work, and how to control them. The webs, wall-sticking, the strength were all pretty obvious ones. He still had no idea how his Foresight works, considering its effects and output are very different to Precognition, which by itself is very much a complicated subject to study. In his last Ability Scan, after showing to the instructors his new abilities, they were impressed and amazed, to say the least, if the celebration and recongition he got from them was any indicator. Although they noted on how unusual his abilities were compared to other Esper levels, and the fact that even with his new powers he still somehow remained a Level 0.

Apparently his new powers, awesome as they were, were unimpressive enough not to warrant a Level Advancement. He didn't emit an Aim Field, the thing that would indicate any semblance of an Esper ability, around his body.

'Just my luck,' he thought.

But the usage of his powers in everyday life were a different story.

Trial and error. All of his training of his new powers had been all that; it had led to embarrassing situations, just like last time with Seiri at the mall, and the Ultimax Ramen Incident with Yomikawa-sensei. He thought that it would be less harder for him from that point on, now that he has powers of his own. Well, so much for that optimism.

He learned that if he focused his Foresight on only one thing at a time it is a very effective warning alarm for blocking and evading attacks, also allowing him to take on against multiple opponents. But there were limits to it.

1. It only registers people as threats if they were acitvely trying to harm Kamijou; hence people who he sees as friends are immune to Foresight.

He learned that through the numerous altercations he and Seiri had in the past few days.

Especially the Ultimax Ramen Incident.

Seiri and Miss Yomikawa did not let up their attack on the poor boy.

2. While it can sense suprise attacks it only allows him to detect the possibility, not the probability.

The differences between probability and possibility laid in each representing the chances of certain events happening in the future.

Probability shows the certainty of a certain event happening, while possibility shows the potential of it.

Certainty vs potential.

One which shows very likely odds of success while the other shows undetermined, unpredictable odds.

His Foresight could alert him where the surprise attack could be, but what it would be is something he has to figure out.

He remembered one time when during nighttime he saved a boy from being harassed by delinquents. He remembered his Foresight going off at that moment, as he fought off the thugs. Then a stinging sensation passed through his arm like a needle forcefully stabbed into it. When he looked closer he saw a knife stabbed into it, courtesy of an angry delinquent.

While his mind became aware of the danger and reacted quickly, it didn't tell him what it was. Hence he had to be more careful when fighting.

It took him 11 hours to clean the blood up, making him miss class for that particular day, and having to do homework for that classes missed.

Well at least the powers he got from that spider gave him a healing factor. Faster than his normal rate of healing, and with basic first aid treatment he was able to keep his dorm mostly clean.

3. Foresight loses its effectiveness when his mind is unfocused on it.

One time he walked to his school when suddenly he bumped into another street thug. He and his friends chased him around for several hours, making him miss the first semester.

He was focused more on his schoolwork than his surroundings, which is why he was in that situation in the first place.

Kamijou let out a heavy sigh.

He checked the time in his phone. It has been 17 minutes since he left the girl alone on that shop. With nothing left to do, and shaking his head of any stray thoughts he went off to meet up with the girl.

...That is, until he saw a familiar face grabbing a bunch of childish pajamas and holding it in front of the mirror. Her face seemed pretty excited as she grabbed them.

Against his better judgement...

"What in the world are you doing here?" At the moment the girl heard those words she quickly turned around, hiding the clothes behind, her face flushing.

"Wh-wh-wh-wh-what are you doing here!?" Zapper demanded.

"Am I not allowed to be here?"

"Big brother," A young girl ran out in front of Touma, before turning around to look at Zapper. With a gasp, "You're the nice girl who gave me my bag back!"

"What, oh yeah, how are you doing?" Zapper happily conversed with the girl. As Touma watched Zapper interact with the girl, he couldn't help but smile. 'Wish Zapper was less zappy with me, it would've caused me less trouble.' He sighed to himself.

"I never knew you had a little sister." Zapper suddenly interrupted him in his thoughts.

"Oh no, she came up to me because she wanted to look for a clothing store to shop for a dress," Touma explained to her.

"I want to look very pretty and fancy, just like the grown-ups on TV!" The girl said. To which Zapper patted her head.

"Is that so? You're pretty snazzy anyway, so I don't see the need for that," Zapper said kindly, the little girl giggling happily.

"That's rich, coming from someone like you," Touma muttered out. Which Zapper unfortunately heard.

"You looking for a fight you prick? Oh yeah we haven't settled our score yet yesterday, haven't we? Let's finish it right now." Zapper said, smirking.

"Is violence all you think about?" He sighed. "And are you sure about that? Here? Fighting in front of a little girl," Touma retorted, causing Zapper to flinch, dropping her smirk. "Heh, it's what I thought."

"Hey hey, let's go over there!" The little girl said to Touma, tugging his shirt.

"Yeah sure kid," Touma said.

"Bye-bye nice lady! See you!" The girl waved to Zapper, which she returned.

Zapper groaned. "One of these days..."

"Misaka are you ok? Is there something wrong?" A voice called out to her. She turns around to see her friend, a middle school girl with long hair, behind her another girl wearing the same uniform as her, her head adorned with what looks like to be a flowerbed on top.

"N-Nothing," she sighed out.

--

"So what flavor would you like?"

"Strawberry!"

"Ok, just stay here, I'll be right back," Touma said to the girl.

"Ok!" was the little girl's response. After Touma left she was sitting alone on the bench, humming a certain tune to herself. Until a boy came up to her, holding a stuffed frog in front of him.

"Hey there kid, would you mind as to give this doll to a certain friend of mine," the boy asked her.

"Why, can't you give it to them yourself?" The girl said to the boy, causing him to flinch slightly, something she didn't notice.

"W-well I would, but I have somewhere to go, I'm a very busy guy, so I would a-appreciate it if you do it," the boy explained to her, which made her frown.

"I dunno, I mean I'm not supposed to go anywhere, I'm waiting for someone."

"It won't take long, just a couple of seconds will be good. Come on, pleeeeeeaaaaase..."

The girl gave it some thought, before she decided, "Yeah ok, I'll give it to them, what do they look like?"

"They have a bunch of flowers on their head, you'll know them when you see them. Now you better go, before they're gone."

"Ok mister!" She said to him before running off. The boy's friendly smile then morphed into a sinister, sadistic grin.

"Good girl."

"Ok strawberry for the little princess..." Touma came back to the bench where the little girl was sitting at. Only for Touma to look at a bench where there was a couple sitting on it, except a little girl.

He dropped the two cups of gelato in his hands.

"Oh fuck."

--

Touma ran, ran, and ran, as he frantically searched for a single 7 year old girl.

'Kamijou you goddamn idiot, the fuck didn't you bring her with you? Goddamnit!' He cursed himself as he ran across the entire mall, accidentally bumping through other people in the process.

He asked and asked people all around to search for the toddler, to no success. If something horrible were to happen to the girl...

'No. She is still in the mall. I can sense her.'

Touma continued his search, until he saw students being escorted outside the mall. He didn't have too much to think about it, as he saw Zapper among them. He quickly ran up to her, telling her of his situation.

"Wait what?! Wasn't she with you?"

"I don't know, I just looked away for a minute and then she was gone, I-I...I-"

DaNGer...

His eyes widened, slowly looking at the entrance to the mall.

"Wha- hey, are you ok? What's going on?" Zapper asked him. But he didn't have time to explain as he immediately bolted inside the mall. "H-hey, where are you-"

"THERE'S NO TIME!! IT'S GONNA BLOW UP!!!" Touma suddenly shouted out, causing the crowd to panic.

"Blow up!? What does he mean by that?"

"The bomber is here?!"

"Oh my god!"

"Somebody stop that guy!!"

The couple of responses that were thrown around the crowd went unnoticed by Touma, who was already inside the mall running around.

Zapper ran after him, hoping to stop him from doing any thing dangerous. As much as she didn't like the guy, it doesn't mean she is willing to have him be killed.

Touma ran as fast as he could, blitzing through every store, every stand, every escalator, frantically looking for the kid. A small part, a very small part, of himself told him that there's no way he can find her in time. Which didn't exactly help the mental state he was in...

Touma stopped, seeing Zapper in front of the two. He saw the little girl give a stuffed frog doll to a Judgement member with flowers on her hair, only for Flowerhead- wait doesn't she look familiar-

"Run away!!! It's going to explode!!!!"

Uiharu threw the doll to her side, as she covered the girl with her body, intending to shield her as much as she could to protect her.

Misaka brought out her coin to deflect the incoming blast with her Railgun, only to drop it at the last second. A wave of overwhelming panic went over Misaka as the doll exploded, the blast engulfing the three.

...

'H...Huh? I-...I'm...alive?' Uiharu slowly opened her eyes, looking down to see the girl, still alive, clutching to her as she tightly shut her eyes.

"Uiharu!!! Are you ok?" Misaka kneeled in front of them, worry etched on her face. She checked on the little girl to look for injuries.

"M-Misaka? W-what happene-" She looked behind Misaka, to see a sight that would etch into her memory for as long as she'll live.

The area in which the bomb has exploded caused severe damage to the stores surrounding it, yet it didn't reach them. Instead the area in which they were on was miraculously unscathed. As if, someone shielded them from the blast. Someone like...

'Misaka... did that?' She thought to herself. She never got to ask that as Kuroko suddenly teleported in front of them, and brought them outside to be checked for wounds.

--

"This is incredible!!! With this, no one can stand in my way!!!! Those useless Judgement pigs, and those punks at school, I'll blow them up to sky high!!! All of them will-"

He found himself thrown in the air by an unseen force. It took him a minute to realize his position. But it didn't last as he landed on a garbage bin, spilling out its contents.

"W-what... what the hell happened?" He sat up, dazed and befuddled. He looked around, only to see someone, in front of him.

He wore a white polo uniform, with an orange shirt underneath, and black slacks. His shoes weren't storebrand, rather it'd be the type of footwear one would see at a discount shop.

He had black spiky hair, its bangs covering his eyes.

He rose his head to look at the spectacled terrorist.

They glowed with righteous fury.

"Who the hell are you!!! What do you want from me??!!!" The bomber shouted to the spikehaired enigma. The man said nothing as he quickly grabbed him in the collar of his uniform, and slamming his back on the wall behind him.

"People were injured... afraid... nearly killed... you bastard," the man muttered. "You're not getting away this time." As he said that he suddenly flicked his wrists, covering the bomber in a white sticky substance.

The bomber didn't have time to scream.

By the time Misaka and Kuroko came, all they saw was a boy covered in what appears to be web-like material covering his entire body except his head, his mouth covered in the same material.

"Huh?" They both muttered in unison.

--

Touma yawned as he walked home. The homework he had made before was drenched in coffee by Komoe-sensei, much to both of their dismay, forcing Touma to redo his homework all over again.

"Rotten luck," he sighed.

"Huh?" He suddenly stopped. He looked in front of him, which he noticed he was going to his usual route, a path in which a certain money-eating machine stood by.

"Hm," he grunted out, and walked back, going in another route back home, which would take him longer to reach to his destination.

Unbeknownst to him, a certain middle school girl leaned on the money-eating machine, gathering up her thoughts about what happened yesterday before giving it up in frustration, and went home.

'Hmmm, something doesn't feel right here...' she thought to herself, before shrugging and walking home.

--

"Interesting."

It was a windowless room.

There were no doors, stairs, lifts, or corridors. For being part of a building, the room didn't have any functions. There was no way to enter the building except via a Level 4's Teleport ability. It could be said to be the strongest stronghold.

The space was too large to be called indoors, and there was supposedly no lighting, but the room seemed to be filled with starry-like lights. That was because the walls had been set up with numerous screens and flashing buttons. Equipment of all sizes, thousands of cables, and tubes were gathered at the center of the room like blood vessels on the floor.

There was a huge cylinder in the middle of the room. It was four meters in diameter and over ten meters in height. The cylindrical container that was made of reinforced glass had red liquid filled inside it.

Inside the beaker was a human wearing a green surgical cloak that was floating upside down. There were no words to describe him except "human". The silver-haired "human" looked masculine yet feminine, adult yet childlike, and saintly yet sinful.

One would look at the "human" and find themselves question the logic behind this "human"'s decision to use this technology to preserve themselves, for whatever purpose.

This man was Aleister Crowley, the greatest magician in the world, in some ways "The Grandfather of Modern Magic". Yet despite this why had this "magician" covered himself with the technology aforementioned?

One would only know the reasons at a later time.

With the numerous holographic displays surronuding him Aleister scanned the carnage surrounding Seventh Mall, the events preceding the incident, the incident itself, then the aftermath.

It seemed that the plan was a sucess. Even with the Imagine Breaker's intervention this move would surely empower Dr. Kiyama's plan to create the linked network.

"Experiment #8081 complete, result of experiment: Subject 8081 expired at 20:07:47, Accelerator's evolution to Level 6 is 72%."

Aleister paid no attention to it. His eyes were on a couple screens involving a certain individual.

"It seems that the incident with the Imagine Breaker has produced... some interesting side effects."

Aleister had made plans to incorporate the boy's abilities into the Whole.

"Whatever the Web of Destiny has planned for him, it will certainly be worth the price of admission," The Superintendent Chairman of Academy City grinned.
