I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, things take a turn as the Hope's Peak Academy survivors managed to earn the trust of a hospice caretaker…and that they are now finding the emergency blood pack as they are inside the blood bank…but a new problem emerges…

Ch. 78: Kōrei-sha mondai part 12

At the hospice, Kirigiri is directing her fellow survivors to get ready as she told them about the situation which the others were taken by surprise upon hearing that a horde of zombies are heading towards this direction, and there they began to arm themselves yet Aoi realized that Naegi and the others are still outside, and told Kirigiri about it which she said that she'll contact Naegi and find out about his situation and that she would inform him about what to do next.

"…and that's what I'm going to do…"

"Kirigiri-chan…"

"For now we need to prepare for evacuation."

"I…understand…"

"Good. You should get ready."

"…fine…"

"Good. Please prepare yourself."

"…"

Meanwhile, Fuyuhiko instructed his men to prepare the SUVs as he said that there's a possibility that they might evacuate and that they would see how to get the bedridden senior citizens out of the hospice and load them inside the vehicles, which the Kuzuryuu henchmen nodded in acknowledgement as they are willing to follow his instructions and carry them out without question.

"Okay!"

However, Natsumi asked her elder brother how are they going to do that as there are quite a lot of the bedridden elderly senior citizens, and that there may not be enough room to fit them all inside the SUV vehicle, and despite his reluctance Fuyuhiko said that they would have to risk it as he is unwilling to leave the elderly people behind and is unwilling to let them get eaten by the zombies.

"We'll have to make do with what we have…"

"Nii-san…"

"There's no way am I going to abandon these people…surely you understand that, Natsumi."

"I…"

"We'll have to risk it. Believe me…this is the right thing to do…"

"O-okay…"

"Good."

"…"

The survivors began to make preparations to get the elderly senior citizens out, but problems began to appear as Aoi, Nanami and Sato approached Kirigiri and told her that there are only few wheelchairs available and that the stretchers with wheels are also few, hence there may not be enough to carry all of the bedridden senior citizens out of the hospice, something that Kirigiri didn't expect, and now she is facing a situation which she is unwilling to accept the fact that some of the bedridden senior citizens may have to be left behind.

"Kirigiri-chan! What do we do?"

"There's not enough wheelchairs or beds with wheels!"

"And we don't have enough people to carry them!"

"…"

"This is bad!"

"We can't do anything like this!"

"Sorry…but it seems that…"

"…"

Fuyuhiko is also aware of the situation and he is getting frustrated at the fact that the relatives were more than willing to leave their bedridden relatives to the hands of the zombies and there he is considering in asking Iruma if she could send a drone and do a quick search for any vehicle that has the capacity to carry all of the bedridden senior citizens safely out of the hospice.

By then one of the Kuzuryuu henchmen came and told the SHSL Gangster that the zombies are nearing the hospice and upon hearing this Kirigiri noticed that the windows are transparent and saw the curtains and there she tells Fuyuhiko to have his men use the curtains to cover the windows so that none of the zombies would see what's inside.

Nodding, Fuyuhiko told his men to do what Kirigiri instructed, which the henchmen nodded in acknowledgement upon realizing what the SHSL Detective is saying

"Okay!"

There the henchmen began to unfold the curtains and covered the windows so that the hospice would look like it is abandoned and there Kirigiri instructed some of the henchmen to have the bedridden senior citizens carried out, which they nodded in acknowledgement, and there Hinata and Aoi grabbed some futon and mattresses and made them into makeshift sleds and slowly the Kuzuryuu henchmen began to carry the bedridden elderly patients and placed them on the makeshift sled.

However Fuyuhiko and Kirigiri noticed that the makeshift sleds are not enough as they saw some of the Kuzuryuu henchmen are still carrying more of the bedridden senior citizens, and there Kirigiri asked Aoi, Hinata and Nanami to look for more futons that they could use, which the three teens nodded and began looking around but soon told her that they found nothing.

"Can you search for more…?"

"Okay!"

"Goos. We'll see if we could get everyone out of here."

"Okay!"

Suddenly a hard object smashed through the window of the hospice and there four men recklessly entered the hospice and there they begged the Hope's Peak Academy survivors for help, disregarding the fact that their foolish actions has further put the risk on the safety of everyone inside the hospice.

"Help us!"

"Save us!"

Fuyuhiko was seething in frustration and berated the four men for wrecking the window, but the men reiterated that they had to escape the zombies and found that the hospice is the only safest place and accuses the Hope's Peak Academy survivors of hogging the ONLY SAFE HAVEN here, but Kirigiri berated the men for their foolishness as their actions would seal the fate of everyone here, yet the men were unwilling to take responsibility and passed the blame on the zombies.

"Blame it on the zombies! They made us do this!"

"Yeah!"

"And we need a hiding place, so here we are!"

"Yeah!"

Suddenly the zombie horde began to enter through the broken window, attracted by the loud sounds of the invading men, and panicking, one of the four men grabbed a wheelchair where one of the bedridden senior citizen is sitting on, and pushed it towards the zombie horde and there the zombies caught the wheelchair and grabbed the elderly senior citizen and slowly began to devour him, and the Hope's Peak Academy survivors were horrified at what they are seeing as the elderly senior citizen screamed as he is being eaten alive by the zombies.

"AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEE!"

"NNNNOMMM-NNNNOOOMMM…"

Fuyuhiko was seething and berated the four men for what they did, but the four men refused to acknowledge their actions and said that the senior citizens are dying anyway and that they have uses and there they grabbed two of the bedridden senior citizens on the wheelchair and pushed them towards the zombie horde and there the two hapless elderlies were being eaten alive as the four men uses the distraction to hide inside one of the rooms and barricaded themselves.

Gritting his teeth Fuyuhiko told his henchmen to shoot the zombies on the head while he and the other survivors would try to evacuate the bedridden senior citizens which the henchmen nodded in acknowledgement as they armed themselves and prepared to shoot the zombies as more are heading inside, and there the henchmen asked one another what to do with the idiotic men who sacrificed the three elderlies who didn't deserve to die like this.

Fuyuhiko told his henchmen to ignore the idiots, but gave them permission to shoot them down if they attempted to use anyone to sacrifice them to the zombies, which the henchmen nodded in acknowledgement.

"Okay!"

Iruma then activated the drones she invented, amounting to at least four of them, and there the four drones began to hover above and open fire, shooting a barrage of ammo which struck the zombies on their heads, killing them and this somewhat enable the Hope's Peak survivors to get some room and evacuate the bedridden senior citizens.

However, Aoi, Nanami and Natsumi said that there are still others remaining inside the rooms, and there Fuyuhiko clenched his fists as he is unsure how long they could hold off the horde, and he told the three girls to get the elderlies out as able as they could, which the three girls nodded, but as they turn around they saw the four men pushing the wheeled beds that has the bedridden elderlies on board towards the zombie horde, and there Kirigiri angrily demanded that they stop this, but the four men insisted that the elderly persons are of no use and that they would just drag everyone down, hence make use of them.

There the beds went towards the zombie horde and the zombies grabbed the elderlies and began eating them alive and screamed in pain as they are being devoured by the zombies and there the henchmen were forced to shoot the elderly persons dead so that they won't TURN, and the henchmen asked Fuyuhiko if they should shoot down the idiotic men who selfishly sacrificed the bedridden senior citizens.

However the zombies are starting to close in and Fuyuhiko told the henchmen to focus on the zombies, which they nodded in acknowledgement.

"Okay!"

While the henchmen and the drones managed to hold off the horde, Kirigiri noticed that more are convening outside and realized that they cannot stay here, and there she told Fuyuhiko that they may have to leave the hospice immediately, which Fuyuhiko clenched his fists as he knew that Kirigiri is right, and turning around he sees that there are only seven remaining bedridden senior citizens on the wheeled beds, and he sighed as they need to find an abandoned but functioning vehicle that can accommodate the senior citizens.

But the senior citizens slowly sat up to a degree and told the Hope's Peak survivors to leave without them, causing Fuyuhiko and Hinata to stare wide-eyed in shock, seeing that the bedridden senior citizens are willing to sacrifice themselves to allow the survivors to escape, and they told them that they, the survivors, can't leave them like this, but the senior citizens smiled and said that the younger generation must survive, and thus the senior citizens said that they would only drag them down to death if they go with the survivors.

"Its okay…"

"Go on without us…"

"We'll only slow you down…"

"You youngsters must survive…"

"So go now…"

"Leave this place…"

"Don't worry about us…"

"Its fine…"

Fuyuhiko and Kirigiri stared in shock and dismay at hearing this, and looking in front of them, more zombies are ready to force their way in, and the SHSL Detective gritted her teeth as she realized that there is no other way, seeing that the senior citizens were right as the survivors now have no means of protecting them due to the current situation, and there she apologized to the bedridden senior citizens that the survivors may have to leave them behind, but the bedridden senior citizens smiled and assured to her that she is not at fault and urged the survivors to take the chance to escape immediately.

"Its okay…don't feel guilty…"

"Go on without us…please…"

"We'll only slow you down…and you'll get killed…"

"You youngsters must survive…as you're humanity's HOPE…"

"So go now…"

"Leave this place…"

"Don't worry about us…"

"Its fine…"

Fuyuhiko gritted his teeth while closing his eyes as he had to make a decision, and there he told his henchmen to shoot the elderly senior citizens on the head to give them a quick death so that they won't suffer from being painfully eaten alive by the zombies as well as to prevent them from TURNING, which the henchmen solemnly nodded, realizing what their boss is conveying.

"Okay!"

Kirigiri then led the survivors towards the backdoor and once everyone are out, Fuyuhiko told his henchmen on what to do, and the henchmen nodded as they approached the elderly senior citizens and apologized, which the bedridden senior citizens smiled while nodding, as they expected this to happen and there the henchmen regretfully shoots the bedridden senior citizens on their heads, killing them immediately but at the same time saved them from their suffering.

The henchmen and Fuyuhiko left the hospice as the drones kept the horde busy which allowed the survivors ample time to get to the SUVs and leave the hospice and head to where Naegi and the others are, unaware that Naegi and the others are also facing a similar situation.

Hope you liked this chapter, as the the survivors are forced to leave the hospice as the zombies made their way through…and it's all thanks to some idiotic men…

A solemn moment took place as the survivors are forced to leave the elderly and bedridden senior citizens behind whilst Fuyuhiko is forced to order his men to FREE the senior citizens from their suffering…which is understandable ok why the SHSL Gangster had to do this…
