Chapter 35: The High School Conflict! (Part 1)
"Wh-What is going on?" Principal Bingram asked.
"What is the meaning of this?!' Vice-Principal McKenna asked also.
"This is something that I gonna use...TO EXACT MY REVENGE ON THIS PATHETIC SCHOOL!" Now encased in her newly-developed armoured battlesuit, Coral pressed a button on her right gauntlet and a prism spire emerged on top of the cubic machine.
Everybody took a step back as the machine powered up some more with the prism spire rotating and suddenly, "VEEOW! VEEOW!"
"AAAAAH! What is going on! I'm being absorbed!" The principal and vice-principal found themselves being hit by beams of light shot out from the spire and they disappeared and are absorbed into the cubic machine. This caused everyone to panic as they tried to flee their way out but suddenly, Coral's inner circle made their move sealing off all the entrances followed by, "POOF! POOF! POOF! POOF! POOF! POOF!"
"The Expelled are here?!" Vega asked. "Oh no...it is just as they planned..." Emma thought as, "Follow me! We gotta get outta here!" Davis took the initiative as he found an air vent. They went there and he created his photon blade slicing it open. Vega morphed into her mouse form and went in first followed by Archie turning into his smoke cloud and went in fast.
Coughing, "Watch it!" Vega squeaked out as the rest entered with Davis covering their rear. During that, he can see many of the Expelled subduing the students and teaching staff with the spire shooting out it's beams and those hit by it are absorbed into the machine. He can also see the other students in their class finding their escape routes.
"Better hurry. He then went in last and inside, all crawled forward with Cruz using his powers. "Go straight, turn left and keep going straight, turn right and the exit will lead us to the main hall."
"Damn. X-ray vision is a useful power." Vega squeaked and Archie heard it so he smoked ahead.
Back at the gymnasium, "HAHAHAHAHAHA! Everyone is so dead! My machine imprisoned everyone and now, I can activate the timer to set it off and decimate this entire place! Goodbye Advanced WNA High and hello to my new future!" Coral laughed and danced onstage as her peers gathered before them.
"Status report." She ordered.
"We apprehended most of them." Jannie reported.
"Excuse me? I want everyone captured and imprisoned!" Coral stated.
"Some escaped our clutches and are still in this school trying to find a way out." said Dennis.
"Nothing to worry about, I dashed around and locked all the exits." Speedster assured.
"Good. We still have time. Find them and bring them here! Nobody will leave this school alive except for us and the Expelled." Coral ordered and they left giving orders to the Expelled members as a majority followed them.
However, their conversation was picked by Emma's hearing as, "This is bad...will he come?" Emma now has thoughts about him as she and her friends continued crawling through.
Meanwhile...
With the truth unveiled, Kappei and Gumchi hurried to the school and there, "The gate's locked! But not for long!" Igniting his fist with fire, he jabbed the gate open as he and Gumchi stormed in.
At the front door, same thing as they barged in and looked around the main hall. "It's empty. Everyone's in the gymnasium for the dance but-"
"Soundee! Soundee!" Gumchi pointed at a nearby vent as Kappei went to investigate and to his surprise, smoke flew out followed by Vega in her mouse form and, "POOF!"
"Kappei? Thank goodness you're here!" A relived Archie exclaimed as Vega morphed into human form and looked around. "Coast is clear."
"KSH!" The vent cover opened out and Davis, Jeong, Maeve, Cruz and Emma came out. "Where are the others?" Kappei asked and from a shadow, "Is it I, Yamikage! I escaped by a hair's breadth."
"Oh thank goodness we found you guys!" Miyumi then phased out from a wall followed by Shane in his crocodile form emerging out form another vent. Morphing to his human form, "The rest should come out via the portal Dedrick formed. As long as he remembers the layout of a certain location, he can create it."
Then from behind, the rest of Class 1-A did come from the portal with Dedrick coming out last and closing it which was above them.
All are gathered together as, "Okay, fill me all the details on what happened now." Kappei ordered.
"The Student Council President has gone nuts! She activated some machine with a prism spire on top! It then started shooting at us and those hit by it are imprisoned inside the machine!" Ting Ting spoke first.
"Many tried to flee but out of nowhere, a large army of Expelled ambushed and attacked us to the point that escape is impossible!" said Avitus.
"Furthermore, a couple of students turned traitorous on us!" said Declan.
"I knew it..."
"Knew what Kap?" Harry asked.
"Coral Grayman...is not her real name and not a real student of this school!" Kappei then told the class about what he and Gumchi discovered in the yearbook of their teacher.
"How can you be so sure about that?" Maeve asked.
"It's through that power she has. Or should I say, it's not her actual power." Kappei revealed and all gasped. "Okay...now we gotta take the fight into her hands! I'll deal with her while the rest of you subdue the others."
"You heard the class rep mates! This is also our chance to prove that we're true ninjas! Let's save our school!" Davis declared.
All cheered in agreement as Emma smiled at the morale boost when, "Wait! Emma!"
She looked away immediately as all except Davis could tell something is amiss between them so they took one step away as Kappei approached her...

"I'm sorry."
She looked up surprised as she turned to face him as he spoke on. "I'm sorry for what happened on that day. I know I was a fool for saying those hurtful words and I should have listened to you about what's happening regarding Coral."
Emma was silent for a moment. "I'm sorry too. For...losing out my temper and for hurting you verbally."
All blinked upon hearing this as, "What actually happened between them?" Miyumi whispered to Yamikage. "Beats me." He whispered back.
At that moment, Jeong opened up his archive and discovered something. "I was able to get a glimpse of the machine in the gymnasium. It has an activated timer It could mean one thing, It's a bomb designed to decimate our school and all of us in it!"
Everyone was shocked from this as, "I heard something like this." Emma told him.
"Then we still have time to prevent this. We must work together in the way of the shinobi to stop Coral and those on her side, to save our other classmates, friends and those that have taught us. Even so, our school must be preserved at all costs!" Kappei declared with Gumchi nodding in agreement.
All agreed to him and furthermore, "When this is over..." This is the moment Kappei has been waiting for as he clenched his fists and grit his teeth. During his self-thought and before he took a nap just now, he has finally made a choice...

"Emma. Will you go out with me?"
She gasped as they faced each other again. "Will you go out with me to the homecoming dance? I know I'm being a dumbass right now for asking you this but now, I've realized something. My eyes are open and likewise my heart. Yes...this is it..." He took a few breaths and once ready...

"I LOVE YOU EMMA! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I don't even know why I'm making this confession to you but I've found out that all along, you were my first, true love and at that time because I was chasing nothing but an empty relationship, I was blind from this! Now, I want to express my love for you and cherish it all the way! I now ask you again Emma, will you go out with me to the homecoming dance and be my girlfriend?"
One can hear the pin drop as all gasped at those words. Emma's heart skip a beat, her cheeks burn hot and her face was red all over. She could not believe it...a declaration of true love from him whom she holds dear into her heart...

"INCOMING!" Slick called out as a magic orb blasted in as all jumped out of the way. Kappei on the other hand pounced onto Emma even shielding her from the blast. "Thank goodness I saved her. And...

"Why am I feeling something soft, round and...bouncy?"
His face is feeling it and then, "YIKES!" He got off Emma completely flustered and likewise, her as she couldn't even say a thing about this.
And then, "Up there!" Jeong pointed out as, "You freshmen escaped from us huh?" Peggy asked as Jannie, Opal, Speedster, Lasher and Dennis appeared on the second level standing by her side. And then, Kinner and his thugs appeared on the other side across them and finally, numerous smokebombs flashed in revealing all the members of the Expelled.
"I can recognize some of them..." Kappei thought as all readied their awakened powers.
"Kap! Go and save the school! We'll fight those punks!" Bull told him as he transformed his arms into his hammer constructs.
"Yeah! If it's a fight they want, then we'll give them one!" said Anais as she summoned her lightning chains.
"Here's a little boost for the whole class!" Joey channeled some energy on his fist and struck the ground thus giving everyone a personal energy shield for extra protection. "Nice. Let's go." Kappei took Emma, Archie, Maeve, Vega, Davis, Cruz and Jeong with him while the rest stay behind to fight off the bad guys.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! A bunch of inexperienced freshmen dare to challenge us? Fine then, DESTROY THEM!" Peggy ordered as the Expelled charged for the attack. Class 1-A took action as they activated their powers and engaged them in battle.
Midori screamed out her voice at 5 members pushing them back and then, Peggy summoned her clone army of 30 clones as they jumped down to attack Miyumi. However, she phased through them all as she and Midori ran off to one direction with the clone army pursuing them. Seeing this, Peggy joined them as Lasher stretched out his arms and grabbed Joey pulling him over. "Hey! What gives?"
"You're nothing but a midget you little prick!" Lasher insulted him and, "KSH!"
"OWWW!" A head bash was enough to let him go as Joey hurried off with Lasher chasing him. Noticing this, Avitus ran off to help him. Down there, Bull swat down a lot of Expelled members when, "ZIP! KSH!"
"Ha! You suck jackhammer!" Speedster insulted. "Do you jack off with your hammer or what?"
"Come back here you fatass!" A pissed off Bull gave chase as Dedrick went to help him. Dennis then used his intense magic and fired orbs and bolts at the students as all quickly split up with Marcel and Mikelus using their powers to return fire.
Jannie then jumped down and summoned her whips and struck Slick and Shane. "AHHH!" They felt the whip as she jumped back to the second level with Chantelle and Anais jumping up to pursue her.
And finally, Kinner and his 3 friends energized their fists and attacked Harry, Declan, Kolton and Hank as they clashed with their powers. Nichelle, Colette, Yamikage, Lucia, Kurt and Ting Ting engaged the rest of the Expelled members as the entire high school has become a battlefield.
Meanwhile, Kappei and his peers are fighting off the many Expelled members that try to stop them as, "Hey watch the dress!" Maeve created a few mirror images of herself confusing the enemy while Archie smoked some of them. "Argh! I've been blinded!" One of them exclaimed as Vega uppercut them.
"There are so many of them..." Kappei thought as, "Fightee! Fightee!" Gumchi took action and morphed into an IPPON katana. "Just what I need!" Wielding it, he swat down hordes of them as they crashed ont the walls and ceilings.
"Nice moves mate!" Davis called out as he grabbed the last one and held him for a free attack. "Allow me." Jeong head bashed the gang member and then, Emma's hearing took effect.
"Behind Kappei and approaching him..." She thought and, "KSH!"
"AHHHHH!" That was Opal being kicked and she crashed onto the wall as her invisibility gave away her presence and even so, she has a dagger on her hand which dropped off as, "How did you...know..."
"My hearing heard your footsteps despite you crouching in silence."
"Curses...your hearing is nothing but a useless power..." Opal insulted but Vega grabbed her hair and bashed her face on the wall knocking her out completely. "Don't you dare badmouth my best friend you fiend!"
"Okay are we done? The gymnasium is just ahead and we're racing against time to save our school from utter destruction." Cruz told the group and they hurried on.
In the gymnasium...
Coral can be seen prancing about when, "BAM!"
The door was kicked for the opening as Kappei and his friends barged in.
"I was wondering when you pathetic dumbasses will show up. Do you like what I did to this place?" Coral asked for the gymnasium is in a total mess as she snapped her fingers and 50 Expelled members appeared and had them surrounded.
"This is gonna be a tough battle...the fate of our school lies in our hands now and may the way of the shinobi lead us to victory..." Kappei thought as he and his friends nodded at each other and got ready. The final battle is about to begin...
Oh yes! YES! YES! YES! Kappei now sees it. Yes...his one and only true love whom he's been with from young till now. How will things go between them? This gets exciting on this part.
However, Coral has succeeded in her master plan. All she has to do is defeat those that are still around and imprison them.
Nevertheless, Class 1-A is determined to foil her plans and wreck those that side with her. Will they win and save the school? It all goes down to the next and final chapter of the First Year Arc...
