Chapter 37: Picnic Date

The Second Year Arc begins! And here, it starts with a date! Enjoy!

Monday...

Summer vacation has begun. Yes, no school for a long while and everyone can party and hang out for fun.

Speaking of fun, let's go to the park because today, Kappei and Emma are having their first date there. Ah there, they've just arrived. Kappei wore a blue T-shirt, white shorts and grey sports shoes with socks. He still wore his baseball cap and signature gloves. Emma wore a blue tank top, a green skirt and the same shoes as she wore always. Also, Kappei is holding onto a picnic basket.

"I remember this park. It's where we first hang out together." Kappei remembered.

"Yes. We took a stroll there and had fun admiring the nature and bonded." Emma also remembered.

"Alright let's go." They entered the park and walked around observing the many activities that people do at the park. They saw some teens from their school playing frisbee, some adults walking their dogs and the same playground they saw before had some children skylarking around.

A couple of minutes later, "Oh look! That spot under the tree is perfect for our picnic!" Emma pointed out.

"Yes my love. Our picnic will be romantic." Kappei agreed as he placed his arm around her and she smooched him on both cheeks. They went to the spot and set up the picnic. A mat was spread out and they sat down as Kappei opened the picnic basket. He took out a bunch of bananas in which there are 7 in a bunch, 2 chocolate chip muffins, 2 bottles of orange juice and finally, 2 submarine sandwiches all wrapped up. He gave one to Emma as they unwrapped the sandwiches. They consist of 2 toasted ciabattas cut in half horizontally and the ingredients used are butter, lettuce sliced tomatoes, cheese, onions and meat in which Emma has grilled chicken and Kappei has roast beef.

As they began eating, "Mmmm...did you prepare all this?" She asked.

"I got help from the catering in my dorm." He replied as he chewed on the meat.

"That's nice. Where's Gumchi by the way?" She asked.

"Hanging out with Jeong." He replied.

The scene cuts to them playing video games in the dorm. Yes, Jeong's dorm has many electronics and a couple of video game systems and right now, he and Gumchi are gaming together as they fired weapons and kill a ton of enemy soldiers in a large, flat screen TV. What a fun bunch.

Now back to the picnic, "How did you spend you Sunday?" Emma asked.

"I did some kendo training with Davis, skated with Cruz at the skate park and tried out the Gran Turismo game with Archie in his dorm." Kappei answered. "You?"

"Me and the girls hang out at Lucia's dorm. We watched Mean Girls in the morning and after lunch, we went to the spa at Malishido Megamall and that night, we watched a TV show that Nichelle stars in." Emma answered him.

"Nichelle starred in a TV show?" He asked.

"Yes. She was a child star in the show, "Ninja Teen Spy." Emma revealed. "Now that summer vacation is on, she left this morning to resume her role on TV."

"Sounds pretty cool to be on TV and star in a show." said Kappei. "After all, some of our classmates are away to spend their summer."

"I know right?" Emma agreed and then, winked at him. "Say...you remember what we did on the night after the homecoming?"

"Oh yes I do. It was hot." Kappei remembered and winked back.

(Flashback)

It was after the homecoming dance that everyone returned to their dorms tired and happy. As of now, only Kappei and Emma are still outside by the school as they shared a kiss under the moonlight which then escalated into a makeout session.

"Hey Kappei. I'm feeling...very tired. Can I...stay in your...dorm room tonight?"

"You sure Emma? I don't think you can-"

"Ah, Ah, Ah, who cares about the rules? Now that we're official, I want to simply enjoy my night with you." Emma stated as she stifled a yawn. "You can smokebomb us to your room right?"

"Well...okay." Kappei took out a smokebomb from his pocket and with Emma clinging to him on his arm, "POOF!"

In now cuts to his dorm room as, "POOF!"

"We're finally here." He told her and they can see Gumchi sleeping peacefully. "He drank up all the chocolate from the chocolate fountain and all the fruit punch from the bowl." He recalled and then, he looked at Emma and gasped at the sight of her removing her dress and shoes. Now in her bra and panty which is black in colour, "Hee! Hee! You like what you see?"

"Y-Yeah...I want to...see more..." He stuttered and blushed hard as, "Now let me do the honours." Emma carefully unbuttoned his tux, removed it and dropped it on the floor. She then unbuckled his belt, pulled down his pants and finally, Kappei removed the socks and shoes himself followed by his pants leaving him in his white underwear only.

Now it's Emma's turn to feel the blush as she walked to Kappei and felt his abs for the first time with her hands. "Oh my gosh. They really are rock-hard."

"Well, wanna make out?" Kappei asked as he flexed his muscles. She wasted no time and pressed her lips onto his'. They embraced each other tightly while making out and during that, they fell onto the bed lying together as they cuddled and kissed a little more.

Once done, Kappei grabbed his blanket and covered himself and Emma she snuggled close to him. "Good night Kappei. And thanks for tonight."

"No problem. Good night Emma and sleep well." He then kissed her and they had a good sleep.

The next day...

"Morning handsome." Emma greeted him and she's lying on top of him.

"Morning beautiful." Kappei greeted back as he carefully sat up. Emma then adjusted herself as she sat on his lap and they started their morning by making out. Apparently, they were so engrossed with each other that they never noticed Gumchi watching them and he had a very shocked expression on his face as his eyes are extremely wide and his mouth is left open at this slightly intimate sight. Ah, the little guy may not understand but whatever.

(End Flashback)

"Yeah...that was awkward but it feels really warm." Kappei described. "At least we didn't do it and you were able to smokebomb back to your dorm."

"Don't worry about it. Thursday's sex education which was before the homecoming dance was kinda juicy and I sort of took some pages from it which will...come in handy in the future." Emma revealed.

"Oh yeah...a lot of boys enjoyed the juicy stuff and I also took some pages from it. I think after that, I heard somewhere that 5 boys from Class 1-G and another 5 boys from Class 1-H tried to peep into the girls' bath at the dorm but got wrecked big time." Kappei recalled as they laughed about it and continued eating their lunch.

After eating their sandwiches, they ate a banana each and then, the muffins. "Wow...those muffins are something!" Emma exclaimed as she ate it all up.

"Ha! Ha! They really are!" He agreed as he opened his juice bottle and likewise, Emma. A toast to their first date. And with that, lunch hour is over as they spent the next couple of minutes chatting with each other when Emma felt something poke her from behind. "What's wrong?" Kappei asked.

"Something is rubbing itself on me..." Emma told him when she felt something as, "A rabbit?" Kappei exclaimed as it is. A small, grey-furred rabbit appeared and sniffed around and then, noticed the bananas. It then sniffed on it and then, looked behind.

"Whoa! There's 9 more of those little bunnies!" Kappei noticed as they scurried around their picnic blanket. Then, 2 more appeared and they're the parents of those 10 bunnies.

"I think they want the bananas." Emma realized as the baby bunnies tried to nibble it but Kappei took the bunch away. "That's not nice." She told him.

"Who said I'm gonna keep it." Kappei removed a banana, peeled it off completely and placed it on the mat. In an instant, the baby bunnies nibbled around the banana as the couple admired them. "So cute..." Emma described when one of the bunnies hopped to her. She smiled and pet the baby as the parents went to nibble what is left of the banana.

"I got a feeling our picnic is just beside their burrow or something." Kappei realized as a baby bunny hopped to him. "Play time it is."

That is right, the bunnies want to play with them and they had fun petting, cuddling and even took pictures with the bunnies for fun. A couple of minutes later, the family of 12 scurried their way back to their burrow and indeed, it was just beside their picnic!

"You know what? If we go on a picnic again, let's take this spot." Emma suggested.

"My thoughts exactly. They are furry and cute to play with." said Kappei and then, he whipped out a kunai and started carving something on the tree. Emma watched in amazement as he carved a heart on it first and then, he carved the first letter of his name and his girlfriend's on the heart. It goes like, K+E.

"That way, we'll remember this spot." He added as Emma went to him and smooched him over the heart he carved. After that, "Oh yeah! Emma, you said before that if you have the time, you'll teach me some dance moves right?" He asked and she grinned at him. They cleaned up the area and once done, they walked around the park to find a spot for some breakdancing.

A couple of minutes later, the scene cuts to a pavilion as Emma showcased her dance moves with Kappei observed her. A few minutes later, "Now you try."

"Alright." Kappei started a dance move but lost his footing and, "BAM!"

"Ow..." He groaned as Emma helped him up. "When I started learning dance moves, I tend to stumble also."

"Heh. Well then, I'll learn as much as I can from you at the very best." He replied humbly.

"And I'll do my very best to be your teacher in the breakdance." She replied as they bowed to each other. After that, the lesson resumes with Emma helping Kappei on his dance forms and with him, being guided by her teaching. One day, they may become a breakdance duo who knows? It'll be fun.

Pretty decent start I can say. So this is the first day of the Shipping Week I planned. Yes, 7 days of Kappei and Emma going out on dates and being lovely to each other. Since I'm in a good mood, here's what to expect.

Day 6: Carnival
Day 7: Beach

A legendary-ranked awakened power that he possess. Nothing much is known about his power because he never has the time to use it and no student has ever seen it in action. Well, some of the teaching staff can assume that he can stop time or rewind anyone via the power of time back to their original positions.

This can come in handy should he be overwhelmed by an army, he can make use of the temporal power to turn the tide in battle.
