Chapter 40: Fine Dining

Thursday Night...

"And...there!" Kappei checked himself in the mirror. He's wearing his tux. The same one he wore during the homecoming dance and just like before, he put aside his baseball cap. He then checked his shoes. "Needs a little polishing." He thought as he took out some shoe polish, applied a bit of it and brushed it with a shoe brush. "Now they're shiny black." Satisfied that he's ready, "I'll be out Gumchi and Colette will drop by to look after you. See you later."

"Byee! Byee!" Gumchi called out and he's watching Nintube videos at the PC.

Outside the girl's dorm, Kappei waited and then, "Kappei! I'm here." Emma arrived to meet up with him and wow, she is so ravishing. For her attire, she wore a red sequin dress that reaches down to her shins with a single shoulder strap on her left shoulder, white high heels and she's carrying a handbag with her.

"My goodness. You're too beautiful to behold." He described her.

"And you're too handsome to behold." She described him as he got close to her and kissed her on the forehead first and then, on her lips. "Did I smell perfume? Because it's sweet."

"It is." She replied as, "Shall we?"

"Yes. Let's go." Kappei already booked a ride early and a car did show up as they got in and it drove them to their destination. "I heard Gumchi is with Colette?" Emma asked.

"Yeah. I asked her to look after him while we're having our date night." Kappei replied and it cuts to Gumchi and Colette reading fashion magazines together and sharing a bowl of potato chips.

A while later...

"Hey...that place looks expensive." Emma pointed out when they arrived. "Yeah. I was able to book a reservation this morning." Kappei told her and they're standing outside a fancy and expensive restaurant. There, a maitre d aka head waiter is seen standing before the podium stand checking on the records of reservations as Kappei approached him. "I have a reservation at 7pm under the name, Kappei."

"Oh? Let me check." He searched the record book and, "Ah! Found your name. Come, right this way." He gestured them to follow him as they went inside.

Now the restaurant is known be rated 5 stars and it serves top quality cuisines and other dishes. The interior of the restaurant is also luxurious and well-organized. There's even a stage where a band plays classical music.

Kappei and Emma are then seated by the head waiter after he found a table for two and snapped his fingers. 2 waiters showed up and passed to the couple a menu each. "When you're ready, just raise your hand and they'll attend to you." He told them with a warm smile as he left to proceed on with his duties. "My, such a young and lovely couple." He also thought about them.

Back to them as they browsed through the menu, "Say...do you find it awkward that we're like the only ones that are young?" Emma asked.

"Well...it is true that most customers here are adults." Kappei replied as he looked around and noticed something. "Oh look! I see Austin sitting over there having his dinner."

"No way...Jordan is dating him?! Our 2 seniors from our CCA clubs are dating?!" Emma noticed it also and they squealed together quietly as the scene shifts to the 2 sophomores drinking cream soup and chatting together.

A couple of minutes later, they're ready to order as Emma raised her hand and a waiter noticed it as he made his way to them. Upon arrival, "Have you decided your orders sir and ma'am?"

"Yes. I would like the sirloin steak set meal." Kappei ordered. "For my 2 sides, I'd like the roast potatoes and sauteed vegetables."

"I would like the poached salmon set meal." Emma ordered. "For my 2 sides, I'd like the garden salad and aglio olio."

"Any drinks for your set meals?" The waiter asked.

"Just a glass of water for us." Kappei replied.

"Very well. In addition, we have the soup of the day which is part of your set meals which will soon be served to both of you." The waiter told them as they handed the menus back to him and he left to submit their orders.

Now that it's settled, they just waited. "So...what do we talk about now?" Kappei asked.

"Beats me..." Emma replied and then, "Huh? I could have sworn I saw Lucia right over there having dinner with some smoking hot guy." The scene shifts to their classmate, wearing an orange evening dress and being lovely to the smoking hot guy who's actually her boyfriend as they ate and chat with each other.

"I know that guy. He's Alejandro of Class 1-B. He's a member of the Boxing Club and loves a good fight. Totally has a passion for that." Kappei recognized. "Also, they danced during the Homecoming and according to Ting Ting, he began courting her ever since the tournament."

"Wow...never thought Lucia would find love just like us." said Emma and their soup of the day is served to them and it's cream of vegetable. Oh yes, they also got their drinks as they had a toast.

Taking their spoons, they sampled the soup together. "Oh my gosh...it's so delicious!" Emma exclaimed.

"I feel like gulping all of it down in one go but best to eat like a gentleman and not to mention the soup is hot." said Kappei as he blew his spoon a bit and sipped the soup. It was creamy good as the restaurant atmosphere remains lively with customers mingling, waiters and waitresses taking orders and cleaning the tables and the service is pretty strong with various dishes being served in time.

By the time they drank their soup, their main courses has arrived as one waiter cleared their table and the other presented their main courses before them. "Whoa...it looks so good I can't wait to chow it all down." Kappei exclaimed.

Now the sirloin steak meal consists of a large, piece of sirloion steak with all the fat trimmed off and cooked medium rare and served with the side of roast potatoes and sauteed vegetables which consists of broccoli and sliced carrots.

For Emma's poached salmon meal, it consists of 2 piece of salmon with some green garnish and onions on top of them and served with the side of the garden salad and the pasta cooked with onions, garlic and olive oil.

"Bon Appetit." The waiter told them as they admired their dinner with Kappei first, taking a picture of hisdinner and after that, he took his fork and knife and started cutting his steak. The juices leaked out from the delicacy as a small piece is cut out and Kappei sampled it. "Oh man...the meat is so juicy and tender...a delightful taste melting into my taste buds...I would gladly give this dish 5 stars if I have an app to rate food dishes."

"Hee! Hee! Sounds like you picked a bit of Keith's fondness for the gastronomy." Emma exclaimed and she just took a picture of her dinner as she sampled her poached salmon right away and the meat sure is luscious.

"Now that you mentioned him, it'll be good to see him again." Kappei brought up as he ate a roast potato.

"Yeah. I remember one time, we helped him regarding some dining place that's not doing much business and punks trying to force the owner to close down." Emma recalled as she sampled her aglio olio followed by her salad. (A reference to Episode 108)

In the middle of the dinner, a violinist can be seen walking around fiddling his violin as classical music flows around the restaurant atmosphere. He then saw the couple and walked to them as he fiddled his violin playing some romantic music. They noticed his presence and are flustered with each other but ended up smiling as the violinist worked his magic.

Even so, some of the other waiters and waitresses whispered among themselves while on standby.

"You're seeing this? This is young love!"

"I know right? This is a perfection in their romance!"

"They're so cute when they're together!"

"And they sure have applied excellent etiquette in our dining place."

Even several customers noticed this and had great admiration for them but still, Kappei and Emma paid no attention as they continued to bond over their dinner and with the violinist now walking to the next table.

Some time later...

"Wow...dinner sure is filling." said Kappei as he finished his glass of water. And good thing is, all drinks are refillable. "What's next after this?" Emma asked as she too, finished her water

"Hmmm...there's a park nearby, wanna go for a stroll together?" He asked.

"Sure. Could also use some warmth. It's kinda cold in here." She replied as he raised his hand and a waiter attended to him. "May we have the bill?" Kappei asked him.

"Oh not necessary, it's recorded in our system for the head waiter. Come, follow me for the payment." He told them as they got up and followed him as 2 waitresses went to clear their table and prep it for the next customers.

Outside, they approached the podium stand as the head waiter is seen keying in data on the computer to his right. He then noticed them. "Ah, enjoyed your time here?"

"Yes sir. I got the credits to pay the bill." Kappei told him.

"Credits? Are you 2 from that ninja high school?"

"Of course." Emma replied as they showed him their School IDs.

"Impressive! 50 percent off it is!" The head waiter stated as Kappei handed his ID to him and he got to work. The payment is settled as he handed the card back to him. "Thank you for coming. We look forward to seeing you dine here again."

"Thank you for the service and hospitality." Emma thanked him as they went to the park that's just across the restaurant. "Truly they are perfect for each other." He thought as he attended to a customer who just approached him.

At the park...

"Love can be so enchanting." Emma described as they strolled together.

"When it's strong, it'll never break us apart for our bond will always keep us together." Kappei stated as Emma rested her head on his left shoulder as they strolled on. A few minutes, they stopped to rest as they sat on a park bench and admired the serenity of the lake.

"I can see the moon's reflection on the lake." Emma observed.

"Oh man. Reminds of the Light topic in physics." said Kappei and then, "Look!" From the skies, a shooting star flew by as they admired it. "So beautiful..." They exclaimed together and that was a fascinating sight to behold as they looked at each other with smiles and under the moonlight, they pressed their lips onto each softly and their kiss deepened as they treasured every second of the time as they affectionately expressed their love.

A few minutes later, "What's the time now?" Emma asked as Kappei whipped his phone out. "10pm."

"We better head back." She suggested and, "Wait!" Kappei thought of something now as he smiled slyly. "You mind if I..." He whispered it to Emma and she giggled at this and smiled back at him slyly.

Soon enough...

A smokebomb took effect and they find themselves in Emma's dorm. "You crashed at my dorm so I'll do the same." Kappei then made the first move as he unbuttoned his tux and polo shirt. Once shirtless, Emma's eyes became hearts as Kappei nodded at her and she felt his abs with her hands. She then bent down and kissed his abs a few times followed by a little bit of licking that caused him to cringe. "I'll get back at you for that..." He thought craftily.

Several seconds later, "Let me do something in the bathroom. I won't take long." Emma went inside and he waited by removing his shoes, socks and pants. Now only in his light grey underwear, he waited by flexing his muscles. "I'm starting to get used to this. Especially with Emma."

Speaking of which, "I'm ready..." From the bathroom, Emma catwalk her way to Kappei and she's in her red bra and panty. As they faced each other, both can feel a pool of heat intensifying in themselves but just like before, "Just a reminder, we're not gonna do it literally."

"I know Emma. Now come here." He placed his hands on her shoulders gently and brought her close to his face as he kissed her. She melted into it and their tongues intertwined a bit. She then jumped up with her arms around his neck and wrapped her legs around his body as their makeout session became heavy.

A minute later, they got on the bed as Emma found herself lying down on her back with Kappei grinning excitedly as he carefully lay on her and planted kisses on her neck. "Oh my gosh...you're so ticklish Kappei..."

"Really? Well get ready for this one." He told her as he adjusted himself and started planting kisses on her tummy. She gasped feeling the ticklish effect as, "Damn...her body sure is sexy and curvaceous!" Kappei thought as he made a bold move by licking her tummy.

"Ah...K-K-Kappei!" Emma moaned from this as he adjusted himself again and they have another makeout session.

After that, "Ah...that was thrilling. Now I could use some shuteye." He stated.

"Agreed." She grabbed her blanket covering herself and him as they snuggled close together.

"Goodnight Kappei. Thanks for the date night."

"Goodnight Emma. Sleep well."

They kissed each other and had a warm, lovely sleep.

We are halfway through the shipping week. And I'm hyped to soon begin the next phase. Yes, I can feel it...my mind is swirling in excitement as the story goes on...

Name: Lucia

Profile

Hailing from Spain, Lucia can put up a good fight when she activates her powers. She's also a flamenco dancer and was trained to dance like one and fight like a ninja. An alluring beauty she is in terms of prowess and appearance.

In school, she's friends with Miyumi, Midori and Ting Ting and they're all known for having pigtail hairstyles. As mentioned, she's dating a Class 1-B male student named Alejandro and has a knack for burritos.

Awakened Power: Metal Coat

By touching anything made out of metal, Lucia can coat her entire body with the material increasing her durability and strength. She can delivered metallic punches and head bash her opponents with ease. Furthermore, the metal coating grants her heat resistance as long as the heat is not too extreme and depending on the quality, it enables her to reflect light-based projectiles such as lasers and heat rays.

For the other metal variants, she also coat herself with it and unlock new features. For instance when she touches gold, she's coated with it and can use the Midas Touch ability which allows her to turn anything into gold.

Note that if she takes too much damage even if coated, she'll lose her armour and cancel off the new features.
