Chapter 4: New Allies And A New Destiny

It had been three days following Dexter's induction into the Knights of Iacon. Even though no one else knew he was now a part of the Knights, that did not mean he was exempt from getting ready to fight the Decepticons.

The others had their own work cut out for them. As Raven and Maddie were already companions to Bumblebee as Rowan was to Hot Rod, Briar was now with Bulkhead while Dexter found himself a friend with Arcee.

In the gym, Rowan drew his sword from his gauntlet. In front of him was Dexter.

"You ready to do this, Dex?" Rowan asked. "You still need to be ready in case Starscream sends anyone else after us again."

"I know, Rowan." Dexter said. "This is all just very new to me, that's all."

"Don't worry," Rowan said. "You have me, Raven and Briar to help you out. Practice makes perfect. You have to find your right moment, that's all."

"Oh, okay," Dexter looks to his Talisman and closes his eyes. "Come on…" he said before his Cybertronian Bowguns appeared.

"Okay, now here's what we're gonna do to train," Rowan said. "You're gonna fire at me, and I'll deflect. The first shot to make it past my defenses, and you win."

"Okay," Dexter said, adjusting his glasses. "Here we go."

"Begin!" Rowan called.

Dexter shot at Rowan, who twirled around his sword to deflect the shots. He started to run to the side, getting a wider range to fire on the son of Arthur Pendragon.

Daring was passing by with Blondie from the other end, the former admiring himself in the mirror while the latter was checking on her MirrorPad. The two heard the noise from the gym and peaked inside.

"Come on, I know you can do it, Sir Dexter." Rowan said.

"Just Dexter, please!" Dexter called before shooting several more blasts.

"Whoa," Daring said. "I never thought Dexter would be doing something like this."

"I'll say." Blondie nodded.

Dexter continued to shoot until he got an idea. Jumping off of the bleachers, he ran onto the wall before shooting again, only spinning to curve his shots.

"What?" Rowan asked. He deflected the shots, but was unable to avoid getting grazed by a shot coming at him from the side, a curved blaster bolt due to Dexter's thinking.

Rowan groaned as Dexter aimed a Bowgun at him up close, having used the distraction to get close to him.

"Nice work, Dex!" Rowan complimented as the two shook hands. "Keep up that kind of tactic, and you'll be ready to face stronger opponents."

"Wise words, Rowan," Daring said as he entered before walking to Dexter. "How come you never mentioned you were a Knight too?"

"Just happened two days ago," Dexter said as he picked up his weapons. "No swords, but if I recall, not every knight fights with one. I'm always a bit clumsy with them."

"That was still outstanding," Daring smiled before looking to Rowan. "Listen, Rowan… sorry if I came off as jealous the other day. I guess I'm still adjusting to the changes."

"Hey, it's okay," Rowan said, punching Daring lightly. "I wouldn't have held it against you."

"So how does this knight thing work, Rowan?" Blondie asked.

"Um, it's complicated, and not really my place to talk about it," Rowan said. "When the time is right, I'll tell you," he said before looking to Dexter. "Let's get something to eat."

"Good idea." Dexter said before following Rowan out of the room.

"There's a scoop here, I can smell it," Blondie grinned. "And I can't wait to get to the bottom of it!"

Meanwhile, Raven was with Briar, helping her with a small cube.

"Okay, focus on what you want the cube to be," Raven instructed as Briar hovered her Talisman hand over the cube. "It's not gonna be easy, just think of what you want."

"Okay, shouldn't be too hard," Briar said before the cube started to transform. Soon, it changed into a tiara. She looked to it and smiled. "Gotta say, I was going for a ring, but this is better." She said before putting it on with her Crownglasses.

"Yeah, these things do wonders for us," Raven smiled. She looked to a box with a stabbed heart on it before changing it into a chest with the Autobot symbol on it. "But don't take its powers for granted. We're Knights, not narcissists."

"Well, it looks like Maddie is taking it in," Briar said, seeing Maddie on the Croquet Field with the Rebel Team. "Despite not being a Knight, she's still got skills."

Maddie carefully placed her ball in place before hitting it. An Energon burst came out, and it went through every wicket on the field before hitting the pole at the end.

"Whoo!" Cedar cheered.

"That's a strong mallet," Lizzie said. "I wish I had one."

"All in the wrist." Maddie grinned.

At the same time, a carriage was pulling up in front of the school. Everyone outside looked to it before the robot from two days before came out. His appearance left everyone surprised before he walked into the school. Before he did, he looked to Sparrow.

"Please make sure no one touches my carriage. They are for very important guests." The robot said before now making his way inside the school.

"Uh… sure thing." Sparrow said, rubbing the back of his head.

In the halls, everyone was looking to the strange robot with surprise. Milton was walking the halls before noticing the robot. He looked back and bowed in respect before continuing to make his way down.

Melody and Ginger were both getting ready to make their way to class before seeing the robot appear. Nervous expressions came onto both of their faces.

"Um… hello?" Ginger said as the robot stopped. "Are you new here? Can we help you out, or…?"

"I think we've had our share of metal people for the week." Melody said.

"I am not looking for trouble. I am simply looking for the four Knights," the robot said. "It is of the upmost importance."

"Rowan, Briar and Raven are the only Knights," Ginger said. "I don't know of a fourth one."

"Hmm, I see," the robot said before displaying a hologram from his hand of the symbol of the Knights of Iacon. "Maybe this would help. All four would have this on them, either on their clothing or their hands."

"I think I saw Dexter with one," Melody said. "They're in the lounge."

"Thank you, Misses." The robot bowed before walking to the lounge.

"Whoo!" Ginger sighed in relief. "Well, I'd better get going. My friend is sure to be waiting for me." She said before walking off.

In the lounge, Cerise came running in. Everyone looked to her as Apple walked up.

"What's wrong?" Apple asked.

"Where's Rowan, Raven, Briar and Dex?" Cerise asked. "It's important."

"We're here," Raven and Briar made their way over. "What's going on?"

"You look like you just saw the ending of that new movie." Briar said.

"Something wrong, Cerise?" Rowan asked as he and Dexter walked over.

"Someone is looking for you," Cerise said. "He looks like he's made of metal, and he was looking for you four."

"Big guy?" Briar asked in surprise.

The doors opened, with Miko, Maddie, Ashlynn and Hunter leading the robot inside.

"Greetings, Knights," the robot said. "I have been waiting for the four of you so far to gather for some time now."

"Wait, so far?" Duchess asked.

"What does he mean?" Apple asked.

"And… who are you?" Rowan asked.

"Yes, who?" Milton asked sternly, walking in. "After the most recent attacks, I will not have any more metal…"

The robot grabbed Milton as he was about to grab him.

"Do not cross the messenger, or the messenger will cross you." The robot said before throwing Milton onto the couch.

"Okay, hold on a minute!" Rowan yelled. "That was uncalled for!"

"As is this delay," the robot went on. "Knights of Iacon, I have been chosen to collect you, for your greater purpose is to be revealed to you by one who has been seeking the Iacon Warriors for years." He explained, surprising the eight.

Rowan walked up to the robot. "Who are you?" he asked before whispering, "And how do you know about the Knights of Iacon?"

"I am Cogman, messenger and Headmaster." The robot responded.

"I believe I am the only headmaster around here." Milton said walking over.

Cogman turned to Milton, causing him to cautiously back away.

"You are a different kind of headmaster. I am the kind affiliated with the Knights," Cogman glared before turning back to Rowan. "Now, please come with me. You four are needed urgently, as are your companions…" he said before turning to Miko, Maddie, Hunter and Ashlynn. "And them too."

"Whoa, you know of the…" Raven started before whispering, "Autobots?"

"Yes," Cogman nodded before looking around and whispering back, "Why are we whispering?"

"Okay, Cogman, we'll come with you," Briar said. "But we need to finish our classes…"

"Your absent notes have already been sent and signed. You are fully excused from these ancient courses," Cogman said. "Now come. We must leave if we are not to disappoint the master."

Everyone looked to Rowan, who looked around to see what they were looking at before realization hit him.

"Why do you look at me like I'm the leader?" Rowan asked.

"You are King Arthur's son." Ashlynn pointed out.

"Okay," Rowan sighed before looking to Cogman. "As Briar said, we're going with you."

"Excellent," Cogman said. "There are already fresh tea and crumpets waiting for you in the carriage. Let us make haste immediately."

"Ooh, I like tea!" Maddie clapped.

"Not a big fan of crumpets…" Miko started out.

"And moon cakes." Cogman added in.

"Just say they have vanilla frosting, and I'm in!" Miko exclaimed.

"Well, things just seem to be getting stranger," Milton said, rubbing some dirt from his shoulder while putting a gold coin he found from the couch into his pocket. He turned to Apple. "Remember what we talked about." He said before walking away.

"I would… if Raven weren't leaving all the time." Apple said in a huff.

Outside, more students were looking at the carriage. Duchess was looking to it with amazement alongside Sparrow before Cogman arrived back, tossing some gold coins and an arrowhead to the son of Robin Hood.

"Thank you, good sir," Cogman said as he opened the carriage, which looked like it could fit a royal family and their retainers. "Now, come on in, my Knights. We have quite a journey ahead of us."

"Okay," Rowan said before noticing Optimus Prime roll on up. "Well, let's go."

"Enough repetitions, and let's get a move on." Cogman said as everyone got in. "Please remain seated, do not touch anything, and keep your arms and legs in at all times." He advised before riding off at a faster speed than other carriages, with the Autobots following after them.

From the Girls' Dorm Rooms, someone was watching from a darkened room. Narrowing their red eyes, they reached for a comlink.

"Commander Starscream, this is Flip Side," a voice came through on the Nemesis. "A Headmaster just arrived and took away the Knights," Flip Sides reported. "I now have a chance to search the area for the AllSpark. Permission to proceed? Or shall I send someone to tail the Autobots?"

"Negative," Starscream said as he looked to LaserBeak watching over the convoy. "On tailing the Autobots. Find out what you can about the AllSpark energy at the school. With them out of the way, we can risk less casualties. Besides, their sources are spread thin. We must take full advantage of this situation."

Watching the convoy leave Book End was Ginger Breadhouse. Raising an eyebrow at the convoy at first, she let out a shrug before making her way towards the forest.

"Hello? Big buy?" Ginger called. "I'm back, just as promised," she said before coming across a large clearing. She smiled at what was in front of her. "Hope you're not too lonely."

In front of Ginger was a large silver and orange dinosaur. It growled before transforming into a robot with a sword on his back and a shield at his side.

"Me Grimlock happy," the robot said. "Tell Grimlock Ginger has food again."

"Right here, Grim," Ginger smiled, pulling out discarded metal. "Hope this is enough."

"Ginger good friend," Grimlock smiled as he chomped on a piece of metal. "Does Ginger know where Grimlock's Dinobots are?"

"Sorry, you're the only one so far," Ginger said as she then watched Grimlock eat a bleacher seat. "I haven't seen anyone else who looks like you."

"Me Grimlock understand. We Dinobots hide well."

"You eat a lot," Ginger said. "What if you made something instead?"

"Me destroy a lot for long time."

"Then… it's time for a change." Ginger smiled.

In the forest, nearby, Cerise was running with a wolf. She had a competitive look on her face, but was still thinking back to what happened with Rowan, Raven, Dexter, Briar, Maddie, Miko, Ashlynn, Hunter and the mysterious Cogman. Trying to focus, she eventually overtook the small cub and beat him to a clearing.

"I win." Cerise grinned.

The small cub raced to Cerise and panted as she patted his head.

"Thanks for the workout, Carmine," Cerise said. "I really needed this."

Carmine panted like a dog and licked at Cerise's hood, causing it to fall and reveal her wolf ears.

"Hey, easy!" Cerise laughed before pulling the hood over her head again. "Careful. I don't know if anyone else saw that," she said before he bit her foot and pulled off a shoe. "Okay, you want to race again?" she asked with a smirk as she kicked her other shoe off, now going completely barefoot. "The gloves are off, Carmine!"

Carmine barked and ran on ahead, with Cerise behind him. Racing again, the two reached another clearing, this one overlooking the mountains. Carmine was quick to stop when something in his path blocked his way, but Cerise overtook him like before and reached the edge of the forest.

"Told you I wouldn't hold back, Carmine," Cerise said as she pulled her shoe off. "Now go to the river, wash it, and bring it back to me."

Carmine dropped the shoe and looked up.

"What?" Cerise asked as she got up, leaving her left shoe on the ground. "What is it?"

Carmine barked and nudged his head forward, causing Cerise to look ahead.

In front of the two was a large wolf, only looking more mechanical. It was looking to the nature ahead and growled softly, a growl of calmness.

"Carmine, go," Cerise warned, remembering the attack by Scorponok, Tarantulas, Mohawk and Terrorsaur. "But wash that shoe!" she added as Carmine raced off. She made her way towards the wolf, still distracted. However, she stepped on a twig, which snapped.

The wolf turned around and looked to Cerise, who backed away slowly. As she did, she fell back due to the imbalance of having just one shoe on, and her wolf ears were revealed. Nervously, she closed her eyes.

The wolf stopped. "You are… different," he suddenly spoke, causing Cerise's eyes to open. "Different than the other humans I have seen."

"Because of the ears? Yeah, I know."

"That is minor," the wolf said. "The first instinct of anyone would be to run. Instead, your instincts bring out curiosity. You are not afraid of me."

"I try not to be afraid," Cerise said. "Especially of giant wolves."

"Forgive me, young one. I do not always look like this," the wolf said before transforming into a knight-themed robot with wolf details and a sword and shield in hand. "I am a Knight of the Primes. I am called… Thunderhowl."

"Whoa…" Cerise said before Carmine came back with a cleaned shoe. Cerise looked to him and petted him on the head before putting both her shoes back on. She looked to the symbol on Thunderhowl's chest. "Wait, I saw that… on those cars!"

"I am what is known as an Autobot," Thunderhowl said. "Ten billion years ago, we all crashed here on your Planet, and some of us awoke from stasis before the others. We all took on different forms, and I took on the form of this noble beast."

"Wait… crash-landed? On this Planet?"

Meanwhile, Cogman was still taking everyone across the land, with the Autobots right behind him.

"Food is good so far," Raven said as she ate a crumpet before activating a comlink on her Talisman. "Bumblebee, do you know this Cogman?"

"He seems like a cooler Headmaster than Grimm." Maddie added on.

"Can't say I do," Bumblebee replied. "There were several Headmasters back on Cybertron. I don't remember a Cogman. Mini-Cons and Headmasters were rare. If Cogman was one of them that we knew, we'd have recognized him immediately."

"But if he does know us, this does merit investigation," Optimus Prime said as he drove next to the carriage. "Cogman, how much further do we have to travel?"

"Not too far," Cogman replied before turning a corner to a large castle that looked as if it were made of metal. "Here we are now. Two hours time, as promised… could have been one, had someone not stopped for an emergency."

"What can I say?" Hunter called. "Some of us leak!"

"Just don't do it on the return trip." Rowan groaned as the girls cringed in disgust.

"This looks like Iacon itself." Hot Rod said.

"It does," Bulkhead said. "Why?"

The drawbridge opened, and an old man walked out. Everyone watched as he stepped forward, his cane adorning the Autobot insignia on it and wearing a top hat. He stood by the entrance as Cogman stopped the carriage. He walked to the door and opened it for everyone to get out, helping out Briar and Ashlynn especially.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience Cogman must have put up with you," the old man said. "As a Headmaster, he can be quite… aggressive."

"No, it's okay." Miko said.

"Satisfying to see him call Grimm irrelevant." Raven smirked.

Rowan looked to the old man and noticed his cane. "You know the Autobots?" he asked. "Who are you?"

"My name is Sir Edmund Burton," the man said. "The last member of the Society of the Transformers," he explained. "But for a better explanation… I helped guide your father to become a king, Rowan Twain."

Rowan's eyes widened. "You're Merlin." He realized.

"One of my many names, yes," Edmund said. "As the years go by, I take on a different form, regenerate, in a way, to stay alive," he said before seeing the Autobots transform. "Some of you, I am familiar with," he said as everyone looked up. "Orion Pax, I believe you used to be called?" he asked Optimus Prime.

"Yes," Optimus Prime said. "That I was."

"Alpha Trion spoke highly of you," Edmund said. "Is the Matrix still safe?"

"Yes, it is," Optimus Prime nodded. "It waits for the next Primes."

"Wait, what's going on?" Briar asked. "How do you know Optimus?"

"And what's the Matrix?" Raven asked.

"I will explain all, to Knights and Allies alike," Edmund turned around. "Follow me, if you please."

Inside, everyone was presented to a large array of statues of Transformers, as well as majestic rooms and a large table. Several illustrations of what they made out to be Cybertron decorated the tapestries by the windows.

"For years, we have kept the secret of the Transformers secure, in the hopes that their quest for the AllSpark, the Terminus Blade, and the new Knights of Iacon, could be found, for the survival of both our worlds," Edmund explained. "I was so young when I met the one known as Alpha Trion. He spoke wisely, and helped to bring together those he could trust."

"You know a lot about us," Arcee looked to an illustration and chuckled. "The Battle of Darkmount Pass. That's a keeper."

"Jackie could tell stories about that one," Bulkhead said before seeing the statues of other Transformers. "A lot of these guys, I did, and still do, admire."

"This is all very nostalgic," Optimus Prime said. "But I do not think you summoned us here just to reflect on the past, am I correct?" he asked.

"That's part of the reason," Edmund said. "For years, me and the Society of the Transformers have ensured that the Decepticons do not emerge victorious. The war for the AllSpark may have started on Cybertron, but the people of Earth are more involved than any of you may think."

"How so?" Ashlynn asked.

"Ten billion years ago, two ships were racing to find the AllSpark. It is a powerful vessel that can create or destroy life," Thunderhowl explained to Cerise back at the Enchanted Forest at Ever After High. "The Ark, carrying us Autobots, and the Nemesis, which carry the assailants who have been terrorizing the school, known as the Decepticons."

"And you're an Autobot." Cerise deducted.

"The AllSpark is the reason we are here," Thunderhowl explained. "But when we both fell dormant after a large battle in space, we crashed and went into stasis, a sort of hibernation. The leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, followed the AllSpark here. With it, he can raise an army, create a race of Perfect Decepticons, and bring back the Fallen, Megatronus Prime."

"Rowan, your father was on a crusade to find the Holy Grail," Edmund explained to Rowan. "But, as Optimus Prime may know, the Grail was the AllSpark."

"You knew about this?" Rowan asked, turning to Optimus Prime."

"Yes, but we could not confirm it until we had heard of what your father saw," Optimus Prime said. "Megatron crash-landed on the Planet eons before our awakening on Earth."

"You're saying King Arthur, Rowan Twain's father, had something to do with this AllSpark?" Cerise asked Thunderhowl.

"His final quest, in search of the Holy Grail," Thunderhowl confirmed. "During the search, he came close to finding it, or rather, the AllSpark, until he stumbled across Megatron."

"Megatron was frozen in stasis from his crash," Optimus Prime explained to Rowan and his friends. "When King Arthur discovered him, he attempted to learn more about him, but accidentally activated his navigation systems."

"So Megatron found the location of the AllSpark!" Raven deducted.

"Yes," Edmund said. "Megatron briefly awoke, and in his awakening, he blinded Arthur. The coordinates to the AllSpark were imprinted within his shield, and his own memory. All he could remember from them… was that symbol you wear on your jacket." He pointed to Rowan's symbol.

Everyone looked to Rowan before Dexter looked to his Talisman.

"That's the same symbol on our Talismans!" Dexter exclaimed.

"The mark of the Knights of Iacon, which were shared with his fellow Knights," Edmund said. "I didn't know much of it until I was met by some Transformers myself. The Knights of the Primes."

"As you know, I am one of them," Thunderhowl said. "We are tasked with ensuring the safety of Cybertron, and the survival of our race. Over the years, I have watched over the life of this Planet, to ensure that I find those who are worthy of becoming the new Knights of Iacon."

"How would you know?" Cerise asked, unaware that Kitty Cheshire, daughter of the Cheshire Cat, was watching.

"I have to admit, I wanted to bring out Cerise's little secret, but hearing all this…" Kitty said to herself. "This is sure to be big news." She said before vanishing.

"Looking over the life of this Planet for millennia, the definition of worthiness changes," Thunderhowl said before looking to Cerise. "I can see that you are one with the life of this Planet, little one."

"Yeah," Cerise said, showing her ears again before seeing a deer. Her eyes briefly turned yellow before it scampered away, causing her to turn back to normal. "I have a friend who knows my secret, one of the Knights, but I can't control myself when my wolf instincts start to show."

"Let me tell you something," Thunderhowl said as Cerise looked up again with Carmine. "Autobot programming was designed to block any beast urges, as set by Onyx Prime. But as I have learned, our Beast Forms are a part of us. Fighting their nature only made them stronger. I have learned to accept both beast and robot forms. You, in turn, should accept both your human and wolf side," he said. "Now… show me your wolf instincts again. Imagine that deer."

Cerise nodded and closed her eyes. Soon, her hair started to stand up, and her eyes turned golden. She looked around and started to growl.

"Feel your core consciousness," Thunderhowl said. "Find the block preventing you from accepting both parts that make you whole, and be rid of it! Bring your human and beast aspects together, let them work… in harmony… and let them both make you stronger than before."

Cerise continued to growl as she heard what Thunderhowl was saying to him. Slowly, her hair started to settle down, and her eyes went from yellow to blue rapidly. Soon, she was back to normal, with a few minor wolf details of her still showing.

"Wow," Cerise said as she looked to herself. "It all makes sense. I should have accepted both parts of who I was from the beginning, not let one side take over the other."

"Very good," Thunderhowl said as he handed Cerise a Talisman, one that was red. "Do not fight your beast instincts. Let them help you, both in battle and in peace… but for now, it seems that someone was watching our little session."

"Kitty!" Cerise gasped. "She saw me the first time my ears were revealed! She's sure to take advantage of this now!"

"Do not worry," Thunderhowl said. "You now know what it means to fight in harmony with yourself. Do not deny who you are, embrace it, and let both sides, the light and the darkness, make you stronger than before. It is what makes you…"

Cerise looks to the Talisman and notices it glow. Closing her eyes, she accepted it, and it attached to her, letting a set of wolf tail-shaped swords appear in her hands.

"Worthy of the Power of the Primes."

"So, my Dad had a role in the War for the AllSpark." Rowan realized back with Edmund Burton.

"Alpha Trion himself confirmed it. While others considered him to be a lunatic, we knew the truth, but its revelation, especially with the secret known to some of your parents," Edmund said, surprising the other students of Ever After High. "Would have been too great for everyone. It cannot remain a secret forever, though, and soon, you, the new Knights of Iacon, will have to take the fight to Megatron, to the Fallen, and eventually… to Unicron."

"How do we prepare?" Raven asked.

"Come with me," Edmund said, leading everyone to a large room, enough for even those bigger than the present Autobots, to fit in. "Before he left to this realm, Alpha Trion ensured the protection of relics of Cybertron… of the Knights of Iacon… and the relics of the Primes themselves."

Everyone looked around as Hot Rod looked to a blaster in a case.

"What's this?" Hot Rod asked.

"Alpha Trion asked me to give that to you specifically, Hot Rod," Edmund explained as Rowan and Miko looked over. "A powerful weapon, one that Alpha Trion himself wielded before becoming a Prime. A Tempus Generator, if I recall correctly."

Optimus Prime walked over to a case that held a sword with a golden guard on it, as well as a large silver blade.

"Alpha Trion wanted you to have this, and only you, or others who would be future Primes," Cogman said. "He favored this, a weapon every Prime wielded, the Star Saber."

"I have heard the tales," Optimus Prime said. "Said to possess the powers of the Matrix of Leadership itself."

"What is that, exactly?" Raven asked.

"The Matrix of Leadership," Optimus Prime started to explain. "It is a powerful relic, one that can bestow its powers to those that are worthy of a Prime. Though it is held by one Prime, I gained its power, turning from Orion Pax to Optimus Prime. It does not reside within me, but when the time for a new Prime is ready, it will appear. It is the only thing capable of destroying Unicron, the strength of the Knights of Iacon alone are not even enough without a bearer of the Matrix."

"And we believe that you are capable of wielding its power, Raven," Hot Rod said. "It is your destiny."

"But everyone says that my destiny…"

"You're not meant to be an Evil Queen," Bumblebee said. "You know it in your heart. Your destiny lies elsewhere."

"I see…" Raven said.

"Take these relics, and know that I will be not only joining you shortly tomorrow for Legacy Day, but that you now have a new ally on your side," Edmund said. "Also, I have a granddaughter. She is in training, but she will join the school shortly."

"You mean…?" Rowan asked.

"Marylyn, yes," Edmund nodded. "Now… I think you are needed back at Ever After High," he said before the Autobot insignia on his cane started to light up. "It appears that a new Knight has been discovered."

"We'll get going right away." Rowan nodded.

"Be sure to find the relics of the Primes," Edmund said as he looked to a few empty cases. "I have held the Star Saber as long as I can remember. All that remain are the Matrix Saber of Ravenicus Prime."

"Me…" Raven said quietly. She looked to the case that held the sword before a memory appeared in her head, showing a robotic figure resembling her, wielding what she could make out as the Matrix Saber.

"Yes," Edmund confirmed, surprising Raven. "You are a spitting image of her."

"You really think so?" Raven asked.

"Yes," Edmund smiled, patting Raven on the shoulder. He looked up. "Now, all that remains are Ravenicus Prime's Matrix Saber, the SkyBoom Shield, the Forge of Solus Prime, and most importantly…"

"The Requiem Blaster," Optimus Prime finished up. "That must never fall into the hands of the Decepticons."

"Why?" Dexter asked.

"I am sending you all a complete list of relics you will need to recover," Edmund said, pressing the Autobot insignia on his cane. "You should have no problem now."

"Got it," Briar said. "Thanks, Sir Edmund."

"You are also free to call me Merlin." Edmund chuckled.

"Well, time to head back now," Rowan said. "We can't keep everyone waiting."

"You might want to take the easier trip back," Cogman said before snapping his fingers, causing a Ground Bridge portal to open. "Only when you learned of your true purpose would this reveal itself."

"For you see, the Talismans not only bestow themselves to who is worthy of them, but to those who embody the goodness of humanity," Edmund explained. "You four show each of those, and because of that, you represent humanity itself."

"Whoa," Briar said. "Suddenly, I feel greater than even my destiny."

"And me more than Daring." Dexter said.

"Let us take our leave," Optimus Prime said before he and the rest of the Autobots transformed. The Star Saber, now in his hands, reappeared within his trailer. "There is much to look forward to."

Everyone smiled as they got into their Autobot companions and took off through the Ground Bridge, now appearing back at Ever After High.

Once back, Rowan and Raven noticed everyone gathered at the track field.

"What's going on here?" Rowan asked.

"The track race," Apple explained as she looked to Daring. "My Prince Charming is about to win again for sure."

From a distance away, someone in the trees was watching. Their eyes glowed red before a robotic hound appeared. This was Ravage.

"Get them." The figure ordered before retreating away.

Coach Gingerbread blew his whistle, and Cerise Hood, Daring Charming and one of the Billy Goats Gruff took off. However, as they were going around the track, Kitty looked to her pet and sent a grin.

"Uh-Oh." Raven said.

Kitty's pet opened a stable door, releasing a deer.

Cerise's instincts started to show, and she began to run faster. Daring and the Goat looked to her in surprise before Ravage suddenly appeared.

"Sorry I'm late!" Ginger apologized as she ran to the seats.

"What did I miss?" Melody asked, appearing as well.

From the trees, Thunderhowl watched, and closed his eyes.

Remember, both sides of you make you stronger. Cerise remembered Thunderhowl say. She took a deep breath, and her eyes turned back to normal. She evaded the deer and ran at Ravage, who growled and leapt at her.

"Stay back!" Daring called, taking out his sword. "I'll take care of this one!"

Daring ran at Ravage and slashed at him, but he bit his sword and snapped it before pouncing on top of him.

"Daring, move!" Cerise called, letting her two wolf swords appear from her Gauntlets.

"Cerise!" Raven exclaimed.

"She's a Knight too?" Apple gasped.

Cerise somersaulted and slashed Ravage away. As she did, she looked to Daring and helped him up.

"You okay?" Cerise asked.

"Um, yes… thanks," Daring said. "I didn't realize you were a Knight too."

"Today's full of surprises," Cerise said as she took a deep breath. "Embrace who you are." She said to herself.

Letting out a soft growl, Cerise advanced towards Ravage. The wolf Decepticon growled back and charged, but Cerise sidestepped and slashed at him, causing sparks to fly.

"Come on!" Raven called, summoning her Skybreaker.

"Wait," Rowan said, stopping his friends. "It looks like she knows what she's doing here… but why did she act like a wolf?"

"Um, I'll explain that later." Raven said, confusing Rowan.

Cerise closed her eyes and spread her hands out. Ravage attacked again, causing Cerise to run. At the right moment, she leapt over him and slashed at him from above, causing him to crash into a tree.

"Get out, Decepticreep." Cerise narrowed her eyes.

Ravage growled as the figure watched from the trees. The figure growled softly as their red eyes glowed before walking away.

"Did you see that?" Dexter asked, surprised.

"Yeah," Raven said. "The Decepticon Spy."

"Who could it be?" Rowan asked.

"So, Cerise!" Kitty called, appearing out of thin air. "Anything you want to, um… tell us?" she asked slyly.

"You mean that I'm a Knight now?" Cerise raised her hand to show her Talisman. "Because I'm not afraid to let that part loose."

"What is Kitty playing at?" Rowan asked.

"I got this," Raven said as Thunderhowl watched from the trees. "I can't believe the speed spell I cast on your sneakers actually worked!" she exclaimed.

"What?" Kitty asked, confused.

"Don't worry, I'll demonstrate." Raven casts a spell on Kitty's shoes, causing them to speed up.

"No, wait!" Kitty meowed before running off.

"Well played, Knight." Thunderhowl grinned as Cerise walked to her.

"Thanks, Raven." Cerise smiled.

"Anything for a fellow Knight," Raven said before seeing Kitty continue to run out of control. "Don't worry, Kitty! It'll wear off… eventually."

Rowan chuckled before walking up to Cerise. "I may not know what happened with you and that deer…" he started out. "But I do know… that you were pretty amazing out there."

Cerise felt herself blush as red as her face. "Thanks, Rowan," she said before turning to wink at Thunderhowl. "I had some help."

Thunderhowl nodded as he transformed into his wolf form and walked away.

"You're meaning to tell me there is another Knight?!" Starscream snarled angrily on the Nemesis.

"It appears so, Commander Starscream," a Vehicon said. "While we sent Ravage to investigate the Autobot signals still detected at Ever After High, we never anticipated for there to be the ride of another Knight."

"Keep your excuses to yourself!" Starscream hissed. "Because of the Knights, we have lost several Decepticons, two of which were our strongest! Do you want the Triumvirate to be over us?!"

Before the Vehicon could answer, a male Decepticon with a car body type, a red one, entered the bridge. This was Knockout.

"Doctor in the house," Knockout said. "I would just like to report that despite our little setbacks of one third of the Beast Trio and Megatron's crew, they are close to a full recovery. Furthermore, our other Decepticons who have lost their lives, or were too mangled, like Onslaught, are still undergoing recovery."

"Speed it up," Starscream said. "We need another chance," he said before feeling the sword on his back. "If Megatron is freed and finds out that five Knights have been chosen, he will show no mercy on anyone who has shown failure… including me."

"Commander Starscream, this is Flip Side."

"Report."

"My investigation into the Energy Signature was cut short, and while a fifth Knight has been chosen, by Thunderhowl, no less, I have discovered something that may redeem our failures." Flip Side said.

"What is it?" Starscream asked.

"Tomorrow is a gathering of everyone known as Legacy Day. Not only will I be able to use part of the day as a distraction to confirm whether or not the AllSpark is here, but I can also officially confirm that all the Knights will be present," Flip Sides reported, causing Starscream to grin. "Will that put a smile on your face?"

"Yes, it does," Starscream said. "Because after the failures we have had, I will be there to take care of the Knights… myself."

At the Autobot Base that night, Cerise was backflipping away from Rowan and Raven. The two charged at her with their swords drawn, but Cerise held both her blades in a reverse grip and blocked their attacks before kicking off of the ground to get behind them. Still keeping her swords in a reverse-grip, she stabbed behind her, only for the two to swing their swords so that they were leveled at her neck.

"A well-done performance," Optimus Prime said. He looked to Thunderhowl and smiled. "I can see why you have chosen Cerise Hood as a Knight. She certainly has skill."

"One with nature, this one is," Thunderhowl said as he smiled at Cerise. "I could not have chosen anyone more worthy than her."

"Not more than Dexter and Briar." Raven grinned, looking as Briar was swinging her sword at Dexter.

Dexter dodged out of the way and shot at the ground, forcing Briar back. Briar jumped out of the way before being forced to deflect some of Dexter's shots. Letting out the bladed bayonets, he charged and swung his weapons at her, only for her to block them before the two eventually locked. Staring each other down, the two broke off, with Dexter and Briar swinging again, only to stop at another lock.

"Good moves," Arcee complimented Dexter as he let his weapons retreat back. "You're getting better."

"Thanks," Dexter said. "That's the first time I've fought so close, though."

"Well, it takes a while, but you get used to it," Bulkhead said before he and Briar looked to each other. "You weren't too bad yourself, you know."

"Thanks," Briar said. "It helps that this is more than an enjoyment," she smirked as she spun her sword around. "We know when to use force… and how much to use!" she exclaimed before cutting off a part of a tool on Ratchet's desk.

"Briar, I needed that!" Ratchet exclaimed.

"Sorry." Briar squirmed.

Rowan chuckled before he looked to Cerise. "You're gonna do great things with us," he said. "I won't tell you everything now, because we have a big day tomorrow."

"Right," Raven remembered. She looked up and sighed sadly. "Legacy Day."

Ratchet stopped his work and looked down to Raven. After a while of seeing the sad expression on her face, he turned to the rest of the Autobots.

"I think it's best that you take your human allies back to the school," Ratchet said. "But leave Raven here, Bumblebee. I'll take her back, after I have a word with her."

"Sure thing." Bumblebee transformed into his vehicle mode and drove off with Maddie inside while Bulkhead took Briar and Miko. Riding on top of Thunderhowl were Cerise, Ashlynn and Hunter, and inside of Hot Rod was Rowan.

"Don't worry, you'll be great." Rowan said to Raven before Hot Rod drove off.

Raven smiled before Ratchet walked up to her.

"Something you wanted to talk to me about?" Raven asked.

"You're always so fixated on this destiny set for you," Ratchet noticed. "Everyone says you're supposed to fulfill it, am I right?"

"Oh, you have no idea," Raven chuckled as she walked around. "After we recruited Dexter, Apple made me confess to damaging her Enchanted Mirror, because, as she says, I'm supposed to do evil. Then there was an intervention. Grimm and Apple were only happy when I turned him into a chicken. Everyone just expects me to be evil while Apple lives happy."

"That is both inconsiderate and incorrect of who you are," Ratchet said. "Has Bumblebee ever told you about what happened to him at the Elite Guard Academy back on Cybertron?"

"Well, no," Raven shrugged. "I guess I never asked him because I felt like it was a personal matter."

"During his days on Cybertron, B-127 was paired with B-524, who you know as Bulkhead, with H-986, Hot Rod," Ratchet started to explain. "The three were like brothers, but never could quite please the instructor. There was a Decepticon agent there at the time, and despite Bumblebee's efforts to expose him, he always wound up in trouble. Then, during a training exercise, Bulkhead saved him, but in doing so, knocked the whole course on the instructor," he went on, causing Raven to chuckle. "When the spy was found, the instructor prepared to expel Bulkhead, due to his strength, while make Bumblebee and Hot Rod official members of the Elite Guard."

"Then what happened?" Raven asked.

"The two couldn't stand it," Ratchet said. "Because they were so close to Bulkhead after cycles of training together, they took the blame instead. Of course, the instructor wasn't too lenient, so he expelled all three of them. But it didn't matter, because in the end, they chose what the right way, not the best way. They could have let Bulkhead take the fall and become members of the best squad of Cybertron. Instead, they followed a new path, and due to that, Bumblebee and Hot Rod became the Autobot Knights of Iacon, the second and third following Optimus," he explained. "Raven, do you truly believe that you will disappear like Headmaster Grimm says if you don't sign this book?"

"Well… I don't know," Raven said. "Just like I don't know if I really am the reincarnation of Ravenicus Prime."

"Ravenicus was unsure of herself too," Ratchet said. "But even she knew where to make her stand. In time, you will too."

Raven smiled. "If I were stories tall, I'd hug you," she said. "Thanks, Doc-Bot."

"Any time," Ratchet said before transforming into an ambulance. "Now… time to get back… and think about what I said."

Raven smiled as she looked to her Talisman. Taking a deep breath, she made her way inside of Ratchet and the two rode off outside of the Base.

"The Energy signatures are getting stronger, Commander Starscream. Tomorrow, it will be hard to exterminate the Knights of Iacon. You will need backup."

"Noted," Starscream said on the Nemesis. "It seems that we need to take more caution, as our spy has told us," he said to two Decepticons, both with jet modes that were identical to each other. The only difference was that one was blue while the other was purple. "That's why you're coming with me, Thundercracker and Skywarp."

"You might as well take the Seeker Armada."

Starscream turned to see another familiar-looking jet Decepticon, only with a lighter shade of purple, almost magenta. This was Slipstream.

"A good point, first lieutenant," Starscream said. "But keep to the skies. And ensure that Scatterstorm and Demolisher come with us. Bumbling as they may be, we need more ground advantages too. The six of us only."

"As you command, Commander Starscream!" a Decepticon with helicopter blades on his back said. This was Scatterstorm.

"You can count on us!" another Decepticon, this one with blaster turrets as his fingers and on his shoulders said. This was Demolisher.

"Be ready to depart tomorrow," Starscream ordered. "I want to ensure we get something out of this. If not a victory, something else."

The next day, at the Autobot Base, Ratchet was now back. He was looking at his monitor before noticing something.

"Optimus, we have a problem." Ratchet said.

"What is it, old friend?" Optimus Prime asked.

"It appears that there is massive Decepticon energy gathering at Ever After High," Ratchet explained as the Autobots gathered. "Seven signatures."

"Closing in?" Hot Rod asked.

"No, stationary," Ratchet replied. "I'm not sure what is going on, but whatever it is, it can't be good."

"Hmm, this calls for immediate action," Optimus Prime said. "Our human allies could be unprepared for such an attack."

"Especially with all the stress Raven is under." Arcee said.

"We gotta do something!" Hot Rod exclaimed.

"Way with you, Brother." Bumblebee said.

"What is our course of action, Optimus?" Thunderhowl asked.

"Transform… and roll out!" Optimus Prime ordered.

Meanwhile, just coming from Book End, Raven arrived at the School. Everyone was talking about Legacy Day until they noticed her. While some smiled due to her Knight Status, others started to whisper about her.

"Something wrong, Raven?" Maddie asked, noticing a conflicted look on Raven's face.

"It's just that… after the talk Ratchet gave me last night, I don't know if I should sign," Raven admitted. "I don't know if I could really vanish into oblivion."

"We don't know that," Rowan said, walking over. "There's gotta be something we can do."

"There is!" Maddie smiled. "I know who can tell us everything we need to know! Follow me!" she led Rowan and Raven to the library.

"I'm just saying, I know I'm a Royal." Blondie was saying to Apple before Rowan, Raven and Maddie passed them.

"Raven, wait up!" Apple called out.

"It's Knight Raven!" a student called.

Apple ran to Raven.

"Apple, where are you going?" Blondie asked.

"I have to convince Raven to sign the book! My destiny depends on it!" Apple explained.

"But she's saved us more times than we can count already." Blondie said.

"She has to sign! For my destiny!" Apple repeated before running after the trio.

"Right here," Maddie said as she led Rowan and Raven to the now-empty library. "knock-a-knock knock, knock-knock." She hummed out loud before the door she knocked on sucked them in like magic, just as Apple arrived.

"Raven?" Apple asked.

"If anyone knows about the Storybook of Legends… it's Giles Grimm." Maddie said, leading everyone to an old man with red clothing, contrasting Milton's blue attire.

"Wait," Rowan said, looking around. He felt his Talisman glow, as did Raven. "I'm sensing something here."

"My Talisman is going off like crazy," Raven said as the two noticed their Talismans react to a wall. "Is there something—?"

"Feathers and friends! Together, alone!"

Everyone turned to Giles as he bowed in respect.

"He said it's nice to meet you," Maddie explained. "He got cursed with a Babble Spell, and can only speak Riddlish."

"Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep Ni-Ni bong!" Giles suddenly said.

"What's that one?" Rowan asked.

"He says the Universal Greeting," Maddie said. "Everyone knows that one!"

"Ask him about the book!" Raven spoke up. "If I don't sign, am I really gonna… uh, disappear?"

"Sure thing!" Maddie said before turning to Giles. "Can the musical chair change its tone when the tablet of granite is inscribed with a bone?"

"Hmm…" Giles thought before saying, "The king who sings with pages of sky fears too much the dawn that rises with lies."

"He's saying there's something wrong with the Storybook of Legends!" Maddie said, surprised.

"Seriously, there's something here," Rowan said, peeking at the wall his Talisman kept reacting to. "It's powerful, and I'm not sure what to make of it."

"We'll find out about that later," Raven said before looking back to Maddie. "What about if I don't sign?" she asked, only to find the two having tea together.

"Now is not tea time!" Rowan groaned.

"He said if you don't sign… you won't disappear… I think." Maddie said.

"You think?!" Raven exclaimed.

"Riddlish is not an exact language." Maddie shrugged.

"Well, that was helpful," Rowan said before peeking behind the wall. "Whoa. I can't believe it."

"What?" Raven asked, turning to Rowan to see what he was looking at. "I don't believe it." She said in shock."

"Now the drones at Hero Training makes sense." Rowan said.

"We gotta tell the Autobots." Raven said.

"First, Legacy Day approaches," Giles said. "Concede, and stars shall scream at the unsuspecting scene."

"He's saying… something is going to happen on Legacy Day if we don't focus on being there!" Maddie exclaimed.

"Okay, we focus on Legacy Day, then tell Optimus and the others," Raven said. "This could be the key to winning the war."

Soon, everyone was out of the library. As Rowan and Raven watched everything get set up, the two heard several tires screech. They looked to each other before they turned around and found each of the Autobots in their vehicle modes, Thunderhowl hiding in the trees nearby.

"Optimus!" Raven smiled. "What… what are you all doing here?"

"For now, we are here to support our allies," Optimus Prime said. "There is another purpose for our presence, but we do not wish to add stress."

"What are we talking about? A Decepticon attack?" Raven asked.

"Yes, exactly that, but we don't know when," Ratchet responded. "Just be sure to stay focused on Legacy Day. We will be here in case the Decepticons attack."

"We'll be alert," Rowan said as he pressed his Talisman. "Everyone else knows now, including Maddie, Miko, Ashlynn and Hunter."

"Mr. Twain, Miss Queen!" Milton scolded as he walked over. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Bucket Head is here." Bulkhead said to Arcee.

"I can see the resemblance." Arcee snarked.

"Trust us, we're as confused as you are." Rowan said.

"Get ready," Milton ordered. "We start in an hour."

Rowan and Raven both nodded and made their way to get dressed.

Later on, Legacy Day was officially starting. Milton made his way to the podium and started to give his speech.

From a distance, Grimlock appeared, watching Ginger. She noticed him and waved with a smile, to which he waved back.

"Today, we gather here on Legacy Day, a day where heroes and the most important figures of Fairy Tale History are born. Their destinies shall carve the way for future generations of those who embrace the stories they live by. Others will be remembered… differently, but will still have a major role in history, but the ones who rightfully accept their destinies shall be remembered more. No pressure." Milton said.

"Is he forgetting the feelings of everyone else?" Ratchet asked.

"Stay focused," Optimus Prime ordered. "We must be on alert in case the Decepticons appear."

"When I call your name, sign your name in the book and accept your destiny," Milton Grimm instructed. He looked specifically to his clearly favorite student. "Apple White."

As the Royals cheered, Apple beamed and waved. Birds flew to her as she approached the book.

"I am Apple White, daughter of Snow White, and I am ready to pledge my destiny!" Apple announced as a key magically appeared in her hand. Taking it, she unlocked the Storybook of Legends, and images started to show in the pages. They began The book flipped open and began showing her pictures of herself being poisoned by Raven, then going on to be a Spellebrity with Daring by her side. The book flashed again before a smaller mirror appeared, showing her as an adult in a flowing red dress with a scepter, every bit the regal queen she wished to be. Apple gasped in delight at the sight. The mirror soon turned to a feather quill.

Apple quickly took up the quill and the pages moved to the ending of the story. She quickly signed her name, turning the ink golden and pledging her spot in the continuing story of Snow White. Once she finished, the Royals began to cheer while the Rebels, on the other hand, were polite.

"Every bit as full of herself, as always." Miko muttered.

"And next, Raven Queen."

Lightning flashed as Raven approached the book.

"Optimus, I hope you're ready." Rowan said.

"I am Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, and I pledge… um…" Raven hesitated.

"Come on! Do it!" Apple whispered giddily.

Milton groaned in annoyance at Raven's hesitance.

Soon, Raven held her hand out as her key magically appeared. Taking the key, she placed it in the book. The book turned red, this time with a raven feather in the middle before it opened.

The pictures began to follow, showing Raven poisoning Apple with the poisoned apple. The next picture made her heart sink as she saw an angry mob chasing her. The next has her being arrested on Apple's orders. Finally, it was a picture of her as a homeless bag lady digging through trash.

The mirror appeared in a flash, showing Raven in her mother's regalia, but bound in magical chains and clearly looking to be in pain.

"No…" Bumblebee said in shock.

Before Raven could take the quill, the book started to glow.

"Whoa!" Raven exclaimed, backing away as the quill went back into the Storybook of Legends and caused the pages to turn. "What?"

"Huh?" Rowan asked.

Making the same sounds of a transformation of Autobots and Decepticons alike, new images began to appear. The first one showed Raven about to poison Apple, until the next one then showed her leaving as a blue light shone. The next picture showed her in front of several shadowed figures, raising her Skybreaker into the air. Finally, it showed her touching a silver and gold object, her eyes glowing blue before the last image not only started to move, but appeared on the mirrors floating all around.

Everyone looked up as the robotic version of Raven appeared, running into battle with several others armed with their own weapons before showing her holing off a blast from who she could somehow remember as Megatronus the Fallen. Feeling these memories sink into her, she then saw her using a different kind of object to send Megatronus into a portal before the last vision appeared on the largest mirror of all.

"My brothers and sisters. Today, we mourn our fallen comrades who have fallen to this treachery," the robotic Raven said. "Solus, Alchemist… Nexus. But as Megatronus has betrayed us, his words do merit meaning. Some see me as an Autobot for ensuring peace. Others see me as a Decepticon for my secrecy, and my grey morality on life. I have chosen a different path of the AllSpark, one that ensures we can live together as one. I proclaim that this is what we must do: ensure freedom. The freedom to choose who we are, and what we decide to do with our lives. Let it be light for peace, or darkness, to bring balance to the universe. It is up to all living beings. I declare our creed, fellow Primes, that freedom is the right of all sentient beings. So says Ravenicus Prime!" she concluded, giving an echo of cheers before the mirrors returned to normal.

Now, instead of the clothes of the Evil Queen, Raven saw herself armed with a shield and the Skybreaker Sword, bearing the symbol of half Autobot and half Decepticon, with a smile on her face.

As Apple stood in shock, Milton looked on in horror.

"My own path." Raven awed as she prepared to grab the quill.

"Ravenicus Prime!" Maddie clapped quietly.

"That was her." Cerise nodded.

"No wonder they looked up to her." Dexter beamed.

"That looks right for her." Briar said.

"Amazing." Hunter agreed.

"Now we know." Ashlynn smiled.

"It is her destiny." Miko said.

"Go, Raven." Rowan smiled.

Just before Raven could grab the quill, Milton snatched it from her, causing everyone to gasp.

"What are you doing?!" Raven exclaimed.

"You must sign your true destiny!" Milton argued.

"What? You know what you saw!" Raven argued. "The book showed—"

"Not that drivel! You must have enchanted the book somehow, Miss Queen!" Milton snarled.

"Not Raven Queen… Ravenicus Prime." Raven narrowed her eyes.

"I have heard enough of that name!" Milton snapped. "I don't know how you came up with such a fantasy, but it has gone on far enough! There is no Ravenicus Prime! Whoever or whatever she is, is a folly!"

"What?" Thunderhowl growled.

"He just…!" Ratchet gasped.

"You have been derailing from your destiny since Day 1!" Milton hissed as the Autobots slowly started to move closer. Raven and Rowan noticed this and their eyes widened as their gears shifted. "You are meant to be the villain of Apple's story, not some pretend Knight!"

"Listen here, Bucket Head!" Raven snapped. "You do not have the right to say that… especially in this moment."

"You are looking for trouble if you dare insult me," Milton said as Raven's eyes widened at a shadow starting to grow from the ground. "I will say this again, there is no Ravenicus Prime! She is made up by you, all so you can fulfill your own selfish needs!"

"Um, Headmaster?"

"You do not get to speak! I am not done with you yet!"

"On the contrary…" Milton turned to see all the Autobots, now transformed, standing over him, Raven, Rowan and Apple. "You have said enough."

Everyone gasped at the Autobots. Their first instincts would have been to run, but since they were not attacking, they were compelled to stay and see what would unfold.

"She… did try to warn you." Rowan said, stepping up to the stage.

"That I did." Raven nodded.

"Who… what's going on?!" Milton asked, now more surprised than ever.

"I am Optimus Prime," Optimus Prime said sternly as he got in Milton's face. "And I do not appreciate the way you are speaking of one of the great founders of our race."

"You dare speak against Ravenicus Prime?!" Ratchet exclaimed.

"She… she's real?" Apple asked.

"No… that's a lie!" Milton argued. "Raven's destiny—"

"Is in her own hands," Optimus Prime said. "We have seen what you have in store for her. That is not fit for one who held the beliefs of freedom for us, and by extension… for all beings in the Universe… including humans like you."

"Optimus, please, I can handle this." Raven motioned for the Autobots to back away.

"Me Grimlock not like phony Headmaster!" Grimlock said, approaching. "Me Grimlock admire Ravenicus! Ravenicus stand for freedom!"

"Grimlock!" Hot Rod exclaimed.

"Milton Grimm… if you truly wish for the best of everyone, you will let Raven, the reincarnation of Ravenicus Prime, the very one who set forth that freedom is the right of everyone, inherit her destiny, and finish what she started eons ago."

"I… uh… I…" Milton said.

"But… my destiny…" Apple said, shaking nervously.

Everyone looked to what was happening before Cerise got up, raising one of her swords into the air.

"Ravenicus! Ravenicus!" Cerise chanted.

Dexter got up and raised his Talisman Bowgun. "Ravenicus Prime! Ravenicus Prime!"

"Ravenicus Prime! Ravenicus Prime!" Miko chanted.

"Ravenicus Prime! Ravenicus Prime!" Ashlynn continued.

"RAVENICUS PRIME! RAVENICUS PRIME! RAVENICUS PRIME! RAVENICUS PRIME!"

Milton, Apple, Raven and Rowan all looked with surprise as the name of Ravenicus Prime was chanted by every student, Royal and Rebel alike.

"For freedom!" Hunter yelled.

"'Till All Are One!" Rowan yelled.

"The people are speaking, Milton," Optimus Prime said. "What is your choice?"

Milton continued to hear the chants before walking to Raven, reluctantly giving her the quill.

This cannot be happening. Milton thought to himself, still shaken that someone was able to challenge him.

"Raven…" Apple said, feeling her heart sink. "My destiny…"

Everyone continued to chant as Raven summoned the Skybreaker. Placing it in her other hand, she held the quill as the book shone bright.

"I am Raven Queen, and I pledge to bring freedom to all! As Ravenicus Prime!" Raven called, officially signing her name. "'Till All Are One!" she yelled, now placing her sword in her hand and raising it into the air.

Rowan and the rest of the Knights of Iacon smiled and raised their own weapons into the air.

"TO LIGHT OUR DARKEST HOUR!"

Everyone cheered as Raven and the Knights of Iacon all held their weapons up high.

All of a sudden, several jets flew in. Everyone looked in surprise before they flew back around, firing down.

Everyone yelled and ran, but all the Knights raised their Talismans into the air, creating a shield that protected them all. Just as it was about to be lowered, several other shells fired at them. Everyone saw a helicopter and tank approach before the jets joined them. Soon, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Slipstream, Scatterstorm and Demolisher stood before the Autobots, Starscream wielding a sword with a black handle and a red blade with a golden guard.

"So, Ravenicus Prime…" Starscream grinned. "Reincarnation at its finest."

"Starscream?" Thunderhowl asked.

"That's Starscream?" Raven asked.

"Commander of the Decepticon Army… and Knight of Kaon." Starscream grinned.

"Rejoice, all of you!" Demolisher called out. "The Knight of Kaon stands before you!"

"Bow to me, or be destroyed!" Starscream ordered. "As I wield the Crimson Tyrant, I challenge any who dare to oppose me!"

"Not in this lifetime!" Bumblebee yelled, activating his battle mask and taking out his sword.

"Not ever!" Optimus Prime declared, activating his own battle mask and holding out his hand. Soon, the Star Saber appeared, shining bright.

"Then prepare for your elimination!" Thundercracker exclaimed as lightning cracked. Going into his blasters, he fired them, only for Rowan and Raven to jump forward and block it with their swords.

"Knights of Iacon, on us!" Rowan called as they raised their weapons.

Everyone watched as Briar, Cerise and Dexter charged forth with their weapons, as did Ashlynn, Hunter, Maddie and Miko.

"You'll need these," Ratchet handed Ashlynn a set of anklets, which she attached to her ankles immediately, Hunter a futuristic bow, and Miko with a second sword. "The time for fighting normal Decepticons is over."

"A Knight of Kaon stands before us," Thunderhowl said. "A second-rate tyrant."

"You'll always stand in Megatron's shadow." Bulkhead said as all the Autobots let loose their weapons.

"Petty threats won't save you," Starscream said before flying at Optimus Prime. "You shall kneel before me!"

Optimus Prime stood where he was as Starscream slammed the Crimson Tyrant on him, creating a cloud of smoke. Everyone covered their eyes before the smoke cleared, causing them to look at him in surprise.

Optimus Prime's trailer was now not only in its battle station mode, but parts of it were now forming his armor. Wings were attached to his back, a blaster on his left hand, and now looking taller with reinforced plating on his legs.

"You shall never harm this school!" Optimus Prime proclaimed before flying into the air, him and Starscream now clashing blades.

"Grimlock smash!" Grimlock called out, transforming into his T-Rex form. Letting out a roar, he breathed fire at Scatterstorm, who took to the air before getting hit by an Energon arrow.

Hunter kept his bow aimed, but a surprised look appeared as he looked to his weapon.

"Now this… this is what I'm talking about!" Hunter grinned.

Slipstream released several small drones which started to attack the students. Ashlynn took notice of this as she and Briar ran to them, the latter using her sword to cut several of them down while Ashlynn managed to kick several of them away.

"Ashlynn?" CA Cupid, adopted daughter of Eros, asked as Ashlynn stood ready.

"Stay away from my friends!" Ashlynn narrowed her eyes before several glass-looking swords were released from the anklets she was given.

"Be careful with them," Ratchet said as he activated two swords from his hands. "They require precision and elegance to be used properly."

"Good think I'm the daughter of Cinderella, then." Ashlynn grinned.

Two drones fired at Ashlynn, but she stepped and two of the swords spun to create a shield that sent the blasts back. Liking what she saw, Ashlynn backflipped and used two more swords to slash down at another drone before one sword broke apart. Focusing on the broken shards, she sent them at each of the drones, causing them to spark before she danced in a circle, getting the rest of the swords to break them apart.

Up above, Optimus Prime and Starscream flew through the air, clashing Star Saber against Crimson Tyrant. The Leader of the Autobots and the Decepticon Air Commander yelled as they flew back, using their respective blasters to fire on each other, all while the rest of Ever After High, as well as the people of Book End, watched in amazement.

"Such power!" Madame Baba Yaga exclaimed. "You'll never see anything like this in any story!"

"Let's get wild!" Cerise called before backflipping and tossing her swords all around, causing several Drones to explode.

Bumblebee ran up to Skywarp as he suddenly warped in front of him, his left wing becoming a sword. Both of them clashed blades before Hot Rod and Bulkhead slammed their weapons hard on Thundercracker's own swords, also formed from his wings. The three broke off before Hot Rod and Bulkhead fired at him, followed by Maddie running in with her hammer.

"Batter up!" Maddie called, forming a ball of Energon from her mallet. Spinning the Mallet around, she slammed the Energon Ball at Thundercracker, sending him into the air, where Thunderhowl unleashed a sonic howl at him.

"My turn." Cerise grinned as more drones approached her. Running at them, she drew her swords and started to slash them apart, her wolf instincts starting to show. However, she was now in control of them. Using them to swiftly move from one drone to the next, she slashed each of them down within a short number of strokes before stabbing the last one, causing them all to fall.

Hunter continued to fire at Scatterstorm as he flew in the air, firing back. Miko ran to him and deflected several shots before running on the wall of a building nearby. She leapt off and kicked Scatterstorm before slashing one of his propellers off and using her second blade to make a gash in him, causing him to crash to the ground.

"You ready to rumble?!" Demolisher called as he fired at Dexter.

Dexter dodged out of the way and deflected one shot as Daring watched in amazement. He soon caught another blast within both his Bowguns and fired it back, sending Demolisher out of his vehicle mode. The tank Decepticon growled and fired again, but Rowan ran up and slashed off one of his blasters before leaping behind him. With him now off-balance, Grimlock ran in and grabbed Demolisher with his teeth before tossing him aside.

"Me Grimlock smash tank Decepticreep!" Grimlock grinned.

"You're mine!" Slipstream called, flying at Arcee.

Arcee and Raven both leapt at Slipstream, slashing at her before she flew at them in her jet mode. Ratchet leapt up and slashed at her, where Arcee fired at her before activating her arm blade as Slipstream tossed her wings like boomerangs. Arcee slashed them away and sent an uppercut at her before piercing her to the ground with the blade from her arm.

All the Knights of Iacon gathered together, all standing back to back as more Drones appeared. Maddie, Miko, Ashlynn and Hunter stood with them before the Knights raised their Talisman hands.

"LIGHT OUR DARKEST HOUR!" Rowan, Raven, Briar, Dexter and Cerise all called out, sending forth blasts of energy from their weapons that knocked out the Drones.

With a majority of the Drones cleared, everyone looked up to see the battle between Optimus Prime and Starscream still raging on.

"I gotta help Optimus!" Raven called as she looked up to see Optimus Prime and Starscream still battling in midair.

Starscream yelled as he sent a red energy wave from the Crimson Tyrant Sword. Optimus Prime yelled back and sent forth a blue energy wave from the Star Saber, both energy slashes colliding with one another before Starscream flew at Optimus Prime once again.

Optimus Prime shot at Starscream, but he fired back and disarmed him of the blaster before a blue energy shield came onto Optimus Prime's hand. Blocking more blasts, he and Starscream met midway, their energies giving off a strong burst.

"The age of the Primes ends here, Optimus!" Starscream hissed. "You, then Ravenicus!"

"Even as an apprentice to Megatron, you will never defeat me!" Optimus Prime proclaimed before slashing Starscream away, letting out shoulder cannons. "All you know, like Megatron, is destruction. There will never be an empire!" he exclaimed before firing at Starscream.

Starscream laughed as he let out several cannons from his back. He fired back at Optimus Prime, causing him to fly out of the way.

"There's gotta be something I can do!" Raven said.

"Torch, here!" Miko called.

Miko's Phoenix flew to the area, destroying many Drones as he flew in and screeched.

"Torch, help Raven!" Miko called as she block a propeller blade from Scatterstorm.

Torch screeched and flew to Raven.

"Whoa!" Raven felt Torch engulf her before he wrapped his arms and legs around her shoulders and waist, forming wings for her. "Let's roll." She grinned before flying up.

"There's Raven Queen, defying her destiny." Milton sighed.

"No," Rowan said, causing Apple and Milton to look to him. "That's Ravenicus Prime."

Optimus Prime continued to fly out of the way of Starscream's blasts. Eventually, he was hit by one of them, causing him to land on top of one of the high roofs of the school.

"Prepare to perish, Optimus Prime!" Starscream yelled.

Suddenly, Raven flew in using Torch to send blasts of fire at him, with her own magic fire as well. Starscream gasped as he was hit by the attacks before locking with Raven. Raven broke off soon, and with a stroke of the Skybreaker, she managed to chip off a piece of the Crimson Tyrant. Starscream gasped before Raven slammed her blade on his, causing their energies to send out a burst as well.

"Do you really hope to defeat me, Raven Queen?" Starscream asked as everyone looked up. "You are no Prime."

"For too long, I have been afraid of accepting the title of Ravenicus," Raven said. "Now, I know what she stood for. As long as I breathe, Starscream, you Decepticons will never destroy the freedom we fight for! For what Ravenicus Prime and I stand to defend!" she yelled before slashing him away. "Get him, Optimus!"

Optimus Prime yelled as he flew up high. Starscream looked up and gasped before he flew down, sending several sonic slashes before ramming the Star Saber onto him after ten strikes. Starscream yelled as he was sent down, but managed to fly back up inches before he could hit the ground. However, as he was about to retreat, he noticed something glowing in the ground.

"Perfect." Starscream grinned as he grabbed something from the ground and flew to his forces, facing the stage.

Optimus Prime and Raven both flew down, with the rest of the Autobots standing ready to fight, as were Miko, Maddie, Ashlynn, Hunter, and the rest of the Knights of Iacon, led by Rowan.

"Your move, Scream." Rowan narrowed his eyes.

"I have seen enough," Starscream said as the rest of his forces gathered next to him, all seeing that everyone from Ever After High was glaring at them. "You have won today, Autobots and Knights… but tomorrow… will be different!" he and his forces transformed and took off to the skies.

All the students watched, one of them having a look of shock and disbelief on their faces.

All the Knights, with their extra allies, stood on the stage, each lined up on the stairs before Raven landed, standing right next to Rowan as he stood at the very top.

"'Till All Are One!" Rowan called.

"TILL ALL ARE ONE!"

Everyone cheered for the Knights of Iacon stood proud. They stopped when Optimus Prime walked up with the rest of the Autobots at his side.

"The Decepticons will not stop bringing harm," Optimus Prime said. "We came to your Planet initially with the intent of leaving once we defeated them… but know, that just as Ravenicus Prime set forth, we shall fight for the freedom of everyone, for Cybertron and Earth," he declared before raising the Star Saber into the air. "I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to friend and foe… we shall protect this school, this world, with the help of your chosen Knights. We shall fight until the day when we no longer have to fight… we are here… to stay… until all are one."

Everyone cheered for the Autobots and the Knights of Iacon. Milton felt the need to clap a little bit while Apple approached Raven.

"Apple," Raven said, walking to Apple and letting Torch fly away. "My destiny has been set way before this day. It took me a while to figure it out, but I am the reincarnation of Ravenicus Prime. We have the freedom to choose who we are."

"But I liked the destiny I had," Apple said. "And now… to know we are involved in something bigger than our destinies."

"This is my destiny, Apple," Raven said. "Please… accept it."

"I think… I think I need to think about this." Apple frowned before walking away.

Milton watched as everyone continued to cheer on the Autobots.

"Destiny… is already slipping away," Milton said. "Something must be done… immediately."

At the Nemesis, Starscream stood before Megatronus.

"I do not deny that we failed to eliminate the Knights," Starscream said before pulling out several purple shards. "But it seems Ever After High is more important than we thought."

"A decent victory, Starscream," Megatronus said. "That Energon shall help us in our quest… as will a new vessel from that school… when the time is right."

"You mean… you have found a way back?" Starscream asked, surprised.

"She shall only serve as my instrument of destruction," Megatronus said. "She who cannot accept Ravenicus… she shall be the one."

At Ever After High that night, after Legacy Day, the Autobots started to make their way back to base. As Ginger walked to her room, Melody stood, waiting for her.

"I think you knew one of those Autobots," Melody said. "You hiding something from me?"

"Well, I was gonna wait, but now that the Autobots have revealed themselves, I can explain," Ginger said before yawning. "But it's time for rest now."

"Well, best check on your friend first." Melody said.

"Thanks." Ginger smiled before walking out.

Melody's smile faded as she walked into the closet. Pressing her hand on a hidden panel, a secret room opened, revealing inside… Melody Piper.

"What do you want?" Melody asked weakly. "To take more from me?"

The Melody imposter grabbed a plate of food and tossed it over. Melody looked to it before the imposter changed form, turning into a female Decepticon with purple and black accents, the body mostly silver. This was Flip Side.

"I only need to fool everyone long enough to find my Master," Flip Side said. "Once I am done… you will be too, foolish human."

"Rowan will see through you… they all will."

"We shall see," Flip Sides chuckled before scanning Melody again and turning into her. "We shall see."

At the Base, Rowan and Raven stood before Optimus Prime.

"Optimus, we need to tell you something." Raven said.

"What is it?"

"We think Megatron…" Rowan recalled what he saw in Giles's room. "Is at Ever After High."

Author's Notes: Well, there was my first Mega-Chapter for the Story. What did you all think? I wanted to do this in separate parts, but I was on so much of a roll that I couldn't resist, and made Legacy Day this Chapter too. Now, things have changed, with the Autobots revealing themselves, and Raven signing the book, still as a Rebel, but with a different destiny than what was set for her. And now, the spy has been revealed, but not in a way I'm sure you were expecting, at least, for those who know Transformers more than others. Please be sure to review, rate, and as always, if you can, Private Message me for anything on the Story. After all, I'm always keen to hear from you. For now, this is SuperHeroTimeFan signing off. Have a great week, everyone! See you soon!
