/The massive, Icy air shakes in the night sky on Isla Sorna in the southern hemisphere. Huge Dinosaurs litter and dot the landscape. The Causeway, originally built by Norman Atherton has been a place of mystery for generations. It allows transports from Atlantic Shipping and also Exogen Shipping plus Precision Instruments, to ship their massive wares back and forth between Dr. Wu's laboratories and some of the underground structures. Presumably, the specimens such as Atrociraptor and the Spinosaurus were shipped using these underground Shipping lanes by Dr. Wu and Levine years ago. And also assumed by Norman Atherton himself, he realized they must be using the massive water basin next to the streams to do it. There was a third Island, a secret resort where all the black-ops projects took place…..And when Norman Atherton finally figured this out, that's when they poisoned his drink.*
/Very quietly, within the outskirts of the Worker Village…That is where Norman Atherton met his demise. One night while he was meeting Dr. Henry Wu and his associate Richard King, as Dr. Levine waited in a lab outside. They met at the main restaurant and repository, to speak ironically about genetics. Atherton ordered his usual, but this time Henry Wu had something special placed in the glass. After being directed by Biosyn director Joe Rossiter no doubt, it was time to tie up loose ends. And in that moment, Dr. Wu knew he was truly turning into quite the villain. That would be the last night anyone in the Workers Village saw Norman Atherton….As it is the night he perished from a poisoning incident. It was curious, since it was the same time Harold Greenwood came through. People often wondered if Lasalle ever visited, or if Billy ever returned to the Island. These questions and many more, were yet to be answered. But one thing was clear….InGen, or rather Biosyn….Wasn't about to let any secrets get out about the projects they were doing inside the Underground ruins. The Plains weren't a random accident, they were planned…..And all the Dinosaurs in the Plains were placed there by Dr. Henry Wu and Richard Levine….Probably at the direct orders of Biosyn's second in command, Lewis Dodgson. But that's a story for another day….Right now, the Atherton Causeway stands still in silence. Hidden by the arid Jungle canopy, and kept apart from the rest of civilization…as it rests in the throng of a new era of delayed discovery. All in order to satisfy one company's lust for power…and in the midst of it all stood Hammond's mansion. What had he done, and why did he allow Atherton to not ever have a chance to say goodbye indeed. These were a few of many questions yet to be answered.*
*Designed and finally fully established in 1990, the Atherton Causeway now offers a stunning vista view for tourists. It allows one chain of the Island's command the ability to automatically move to the other portion of the Island, including the InGen harbor and the command center. Norman Atherton was no stranger to Jurassic issues, as he's been working with genetics ever since InGen was first established in the world in 1978. It was founded by both John P. Hammond and Norman Atherton, who famously spoke about the "very first" genesis of humanity would be through the discovery of clone technology. Two to three CRAY XMP super computers whirred nearby, as the compound's lights continued to sink in and settle into the jungle interior. There was no question what the directions were indicating. A flashback continues to play, which shows Norman Atherton meeting with Biosyn director Joe Rossiter and field supervising scientist Henry Wu. At the time, Atherton was unaware of what the two key participants were planning…but this would later be revealed in glaring detail in Jurassic World.*
Norman Atherton: "I can't tell you again how many times I've heard that Joe. That what we are doing is for the good of humanity here, and that we should allow no one else to try to steer our vision."
Joe Rossiter: "Well, let me make this clear for you then. Norman, Site B is an important project for us…and for Biosyn's investors. We've been planning for a long time for the Monorail that runs through the Atherton Causeway to be used as the only transport for our personnel to follow these coordinates. This would allow our experts, and the Miners, mainline access to the Mining facilities as well as tunnels to extract the various Amber samples and key material used for building the DNA blocks for clones."
Joe Rossiter: "We have it on good authority, Mr. Atherton that this new Causeway will make us a lot of profit. It will also let the Costa Rican government put out a great tax-write off for all the workers they have to train for the hospitals and food care programs, since they won't have to pay visas. As well, the Causeway will be run by some of our most qualified personnel including Nedry and Muldoon."
Norman Atherton: "I understand all that, Mr. Rossiter. But truly, what does Biosyn have to do with John Hammond's Site B? This is an unblemished site, which is kept quite clean and free of controversy."
Joe Rossiter: "Plus, it will allow a lot more good will to be added for the board in the United Nations….And they won't question anything going on over here. Henry, please step in here-"
Dr. Henry Wu: "Norman, give Rossiter time to explain. We are underfunded by at least ten million dollars right now. (He exhales) The production of a Velociraptor type E aggressor variant is a huge boon for our prospects at InGen. Nedry or the man Muldoon helped fill in DNA, even if they don't work for Biosyn it doesn't hurt to have their approval. Their current techniques are 10 years ahead of us."
Norman Atherton: "I came here to do business, Dr. Wu. Not to be lectured by a grad-level scientist about the virtues of clone design. (He pauses and exhales.) I understand it could help us. But tell me, just what does any of Biosyn's recent wins have to do with my Causeway?"
Joe Rossiter: "We need more materials to make the successes we've had with Velociraptors be more permanent. Access to those Amber mines, the same mines you have running along the river front and on other side of the jungle plains can give us those guarantees. All the way offshore, going by climate."
Joe Rossiter: "The materials found there are better, and the augmentation is far more resilient. With just a bit more support, we could have those Mines fully up and running with new specimens….and those headaches you have on the mainland would be out of your hair."
Dr. Henry Wu: "Norman…This could be InGen's big break. Please hear the gentleman out."
Norman Atherton: "Am I correct to assume you intend to use my Monorail to officially run your array of secret mining operations? That sounds like a bold vice….(He folds his napkins.)…if I do say so myself, Mr. Rossiter. Why should I open up yet another shipping route offshore?"
Joe Rossiter: "Because just like Hammond's nephew, Peter Ludlow…You know better than anyone this could be the big splash you want. It could set InGen up for decades, and fund future digs and excavations for at least fifty more years."
Norman Atherton: "I see…I will take that under advisement. You've made a bold case, so I will give you my tacit approval to run the scientists you asked for through the Causeway. We will soon be blessed."
Dr. Henry Wu: "I knew you would see it the right way, Norman…This is a great move on your part."
Richard King: "Good work, Mr. Atherton. I'll inform my colleagues you made the right decision."
/However, Norman knew something was wrong the second he left the meeting. While he gave tacit approval, he also went into the upper floor of the Operations Center to spy on Henry Wu. There, it was revealed that they planned on bringing in many Biosyn operatives to excavate the Mining colony as well as Nedry to write computer codes. Atherton was quite horrified. As a result, he tore up the contract.*
Joe Rossiter: "So, I take it samples A through G are now in our hands….Including the type F raptor from the Red and Violet Amber correct Wu?"
Dr. Henry Wu: "Of course…And we moved them by train and boat just as requested Joe for half-breeds."
Joe Rossiter: "Good…I take it this means, the hybrids too? Such as the Oviraptor and Quetzalcoatlus?"
Dr. Henry Wu: "Yes, that's correct. Atherton won't suspect a thing. They're on the third Island, by now."
/Quietly, Norman Atherton enters the hall. He stares and then says something.*
Norman Atherton: "I don't understand...Hammond didn't say a thing about taking routes off the dock."
Henry Wu: "Ahh, Norman! Come join us for a drink tonight…We were all just about to celebrate the Causeway's 3 month anniversary of success with the new arrivals."
*He motions for Norman to sit down at the table. He pours him a drink, as a smile curls across Joe Rossiter's face. A few moments later, Norman Atherton starts to feel very ill and starts to collapse./
Norman Atherton: "God..what…What did you do to me!?" *Norman gags, as he suddenly keels over on the table and goes into full cardiac arrest. His heart instantly stops. But what wasn't known by many, aside from a few InGen doctors, is that Atherton was poisoned...by Biosyn. He dies that same night./
Joe Rossiter: "Is he dead now, Wu?"
Dr. Henry Wu: "Yes… (He smiles.) Leave him outside. We'll have to tell Hammond that he met with an unfortunate accident, had a heart attack and his life ended. He was drinking too much caffeine at night.."
Joe Rossiter: "Indeed he was, Henry…Indeed. I will inform Dodgson too. How close are we to moving most of the field workers, including our Biosyn scientists up the channel of the Causeway?"
Joe Rossiter: "I need boots on the ground up there, now….To gain detail tags on Specimen H and Specimen K without further delays. Nedry helped provide coordinates. Yet I need every last one of those Violet, Blue and Yellow amber rocks dug out of the ground yesterday for genetic engineer testing…."
Dr. Henry Wu: "Oh you'll have it Joe. That and much more….Because I will guarantee no one else interferes. I have a special label already parsed out, for my newest invention….In 8 months. *He places his thumb on the vial.* This is for Scorpius Rex D, and it was bred on Isla Muerta."
Joe Rossiter: "No one else knows about Muerta, meaning Site C…..Correct Henry?"
Dr. Henry Wu: "Of course not. Nobody except the Athertons knew…and now they are dead."
Dr. Henry Wu: "I always keep my promises, no need to be concerned here."
Joe Rossiter: "Good. Make sure it stays this way at the lab. I will go and let Dodgson know we meet Nedry's associate in the morning for more deep drilling of the Amber crystal cave."
/The reality is it had all been a lie. The workers and science groups continued to experiment on reptiles and Dinosaurs for decades, moving them right through the Causeway in silence….and up the river as well as offshore to Site C. There, the most awful experiments of all took place. The nestled trees rustled in the wind carried over the mountain, undisturbed by the cacophony of jungle which was strewn over the lake in all directions. The whole Monorail station was being used as a secret hub, a smuggling operation….to move dangerous creatures from one Island to another. And the most awful aspect was, only Dr. Henry Wu and a few others knew a thing about it.*
Camera pans out to scene in front of the Mines where Dr. Sara Harding and Anne Carter can be found. They are looking out through the jungle canopy, realizing the true terrors in store. Their nerves are racing, as the thick dense grass continues to sway in the spot of the moonlight. The jungle rustles up and over the empty plains as something truly terrifying begins to stir in the undergrowth. They can hear it, a distant thump and roar….yet are unable to make anything out with their regular eyes.*
Anne Jones Carter: "This is it…..this is the tunnel that leads to Section 2 of the Causeway. On the other side, there is a long set of hills which take us into directly into the mine….Sara…Be sure to keep up with me."
Sara Harding: "Why? What in the world….what in the blazes is that?!"
Anne Jones Carter: "Inhale Sara and stay focused on the mission….Don't pay attention to that, that is a massive Snake like monster which went extinct long ago….I bet it won't be much trouble…"
/As Anne exhales, she points directly towards a very large snake-like reptile beast. It has two enormous forearms, and one of the biggest mouths either of them have ever seen. Its very long torso extends across the jungle ferns at least 20 feet…..and its venomous bite is even much worse.*
Zuni Titanboa: "GRAAAAAAAAWWRRR! ROOOOAAARR! SNRRLL! GRAGGG!" ((They are shocked and horrified by the giant 20 foot snake like reptile, the hybrid Titanboa, is now snapping its massive 4 foot fangs at Anne and cutting part of Sara's leg nearly in half. It moves at ferociously fast speed, and nearly rips off Anne's right calf taking out part of her ankle in the process. The beast is incredibly vicious, and they had scarcely been walking into the jungle for 4 minutes when it attacked.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Hang on there, Sara….It's coming back around!" ((Just then Anne spins around, and leaps in the air with a 2 silo rocket launcher as she fires off more than 7 shotgun blasts directly at the massive Dinosaur snake. The first shots miss, and the following 5 shots make a direct impact. The large snake bellows and roars as it climbs straight up the tree.))
Sara Harding: "Ahhhhhh! H-e-l-l-l-p! ((Harding screams as she begins to climb back up the East tree, backing up four feet at a time to move away from the monster boa snake creature. As she does so, parts of the tree begin to split apart in the ensuing chaos. Sara then quietly grabs a huge torch nearby and lights the tree's base on fire, hoping to burn much of the branches down and force the beast out. Unfortunately it forces the Zuni Titanboa to get much more creative, and it breaks a lot of the tree into 3 pieces which quickly fall and collapse into the trunk of the West tree. As Harding plunges towards the ground, the huge snake wraps itself around the trunk and tries to break it in half.))
Zuni Titanboa: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWRRRR! ROAAARRRRRRRR! GGRRAWRRRR! HSSSSS!"
/Suddenly, half of Anne's leg near her thigh is torn up in red gashes. The Snake twists back around from the other side and tries to bite the doctor's head off. It then wriggles in frustration and takes a huge pound of meat out of Anne, as she quickly leaps backward and shoots off 4 napalm grenades straight into its mouth. She follows it up with 5 blasts from the main minigun, and 9 shotgun blasts to the face….The enraged Titanboa snake then flies across the ground intent on biting her whole head off….When finally, Anne moves out of the way and leaps to the other side the Eastern tree. She flips the switch, where they stop as if anticipating doom…..a large set of sharply pointed spikes shoot out from the eastern jungle ridge right towards them. The trap goes off, piercing the Titanboa through with more than 400 sharp spikes shooting off at once. As it dies, its large snake head topples over. One of the spikes also destroys Anne's knee as it dies, making it very difficult to walk. Sara Harding breathes a sigh of relief before moving./
Anne Jones Carter: "I told you… (Ow.) No looking back, and no going back! Come on and keep up. That snake is dead now, yet this place has been a long-time graveyard for tourists….Don't become one."
Sara Harding: "You could sure say that again….Oh good gawd, are we almost there?"
Anne Jones Carter: "We're almost to the ridge….Then the Kolyzanifi will surely greet us there. We will kill it. The only way in is through those hell beasts."
*As Anne motions for Harding to follow her, she points directly at the clearing straight ahead. There's a dark shape moving slowly over the mountain peak. They all know what this means, yet they are woefully unprepared for what they are about to face next. The silence in the jungle slowly breaks….as 3 Incan Statues begin to light up very slowly in the base of the meadow. They are pointing the way towards the answers, and also the same direction towards pure terror of unknown shadows./
/The huge Kolyzanifi beast enters the clearing and begins to make exceedingly loud crackling sounds. It moves its massive, razor sharp arms in the air and cuts straight across in a sloped circular motion. The massive multi-armed creature has more than 2 jagged sprawling claws, which swing out in shape of a half-moon symbol. They both pierce out from the corner, with a total of 8 spindly sharp deadly legs. As it moves through the jungle, large masses of trees and terrain fly across the river leaving nothing behind. It begins to enter the main river bank, and focuses squarely on its immediate prey. Suddenly, one of its large tentacle induced arms stretches out and wraps around Sara Harding, quietly pulling her straight through the undergrowth into the massive trees lining the outcropping overhead. Neither Anne nor Sara can see anything at the time, as the intensive creature begins to pull the pair of them apart with its tendril. Large sections of trees and foliage begin to break apart in the disturbing aftermath, created by their sudden presence in the clearing as its arms rip the area to pieces. Anne Carter manages to pull out and slash the stalks of one of its massive shocking tendrils, as Anne plunges the triple-layer rocket launcher into the side of its roots and blows a full third of the beast into pieces.*
Zera Kolyzanifi: "GRRAAWWWRR! ROOOOARR! RAWWGGRRARR!" ((Out of nowhere, one of its massive legs flies through the jungle floor….piercing through an entire Hadrosaur along the path and dragging it to its doom. The leg flies up in a oval pattern, striking out in a flurry of bursts which knock Anne Carter and Harding sideways….as they tumble through a large tree and are about to fly off the cliff. Then, right as they are about to meet their end….a large flash of explosion suddenly goes off blinding the entire arena in its wake. As the explosion starts to dissipate, you can clearly see that Anne has flipped back up a short cave recess and landed directly behind the Kolyzanifi without it noticing.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Careful Sara….Get out of here, and jump to the ledge.." ((Carter shouts as if it was simply instinct, and all a sudden a flurry of napalm grenades and concussion bombs spill out. They explode all across the cliff walls, taking out 2 of the Kolyzanifi's massive spider legs. The hideous lizard beast then runs its other 5 legs along the wall, chasing Anne Carter across the side of this cliff. Anne looks back towards the 2 original Incan statues which warned about the open clearing, and shoots a rocket into the very center of each one's open face. They explode backwards, revealing a hidden rotating sling trap…..which suddenly wraps itself around the massive Kolyzanifi's jaw…and begins dragging it and Anne directly over the cliff onto the jagged deadly marble spikes below.))
Sara Harding: "….Anne, watch out! Here…hurry up!" (((She tosses out a huge boomerang like Bola Snare explosive, which explodes into the cliff face knocking Anne off the side. As Carter is quietly plunging to her death, the massive beast wraps both its tendrils around Anne's legs which are moving at over 90 miles per hour…..suddenly just as it does so, Carter flips off to the side and catches a hanging vine 10 yards out….as the spider hell spawn plunges straight into the spikes below. Anne climbs up on a ledge, narrowly avoiding the same grisly fate.))
Zera Kolyzanifi: "GRAAAAAAAAAWWRR! RAAWWGGG!GRAAWG-" ((It instantly explodes, with the massive beast finally being destroyed across the thousands of jutting spikes that lie below. The end of this violent sauropod shocks Dr. Harding, who can scarcely believe they are both alive.))
Sara Harding: "You did it…How did we manage to finally kill that hideous spider!?"
Anne Jones Carter: "Sara, don't ever go camping again without bringing your gear…..It wasn't possible to kill that thing with normal weapons…that only slowed it down. It had to die by the exact same traps the Ancient Zumani tribes left on this Island…..Once I knew it had to fall head first into a Spikes trap, I flew myself off the cliffs and made sure it followed…Be thankful you're alive…Come on, it's time to enter the Amber mines and find Hammond's cane so we can get the hel off of here and head for Site C."
Sara Harding: "Thanks for the heads up…..Good gawd, are those the Amber ruins!? They are incredible…These are the mining colonies that InGen was hiding, are you sure…."
Anne Jones Carter: "Yes, these are the Amber mines of Revision-Exogen…Next door is the Coast Side Labs…We may need one more key card to open the chamber….Hold on Sara, don't get in front."
/Anne quietly triggers the laser trap, which shoots out blowing up eight of the crates as well as the Baryonyx that was hiding behind the bushes nearby. A.I. VOICE: "WELCOME, RAY ARNOLD TO COAST SIDE LABORATORIES. HENRY WU HAS BEEN EXPECTING YOU. WHAT PERSONAL BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE IN OUR AMBER MINES? ENTER THE PASSWORD FOR DECOMMISSIONING THE EARLIER BOILER NOW." Anne slouches at the sight of these massive doors and enters the password "NEDRY'S OPEN CRYOCAN" which she copied from a open text file in the nearby terminal. Surprisingly it works perfectly, and the massive iron doors burst open. Inside the chamber is a single terminal, as the rest of the operating room is currently covered in thick dark mist. And in the center of the nearby water pool, is a medium sized Tylosaurus as well as a Mosasaur….something that shocks and horrifies both of them. It roars angrily from beneath the tank, clearly desiring to escape into the outside world. They slowly make their way away from the Embryonics closet and enter the hall across from there. Inside is a panel that controls the cranes in the Mines, and somehow Anne Carter realizes exactly what to do. She presses "PUSH" to decompress and the giant crane begins dropping the stones of Amber on a conveyer belt. As each one bursts open, a new DNA code opens up with the blocks for a Dinosaur inside. Then they get directly next to the sealed outer paddock door and Anne realizes there is no way to open this.*
Sara Harding: "What now!? Are you saying we have to wait for rescue….or do we pry the door open?"
Anne Jones Carter: "Patience Dr. Harding. There is no way to ever pry the door open, it must be opened with a key card password that can only be found in John Hammond's Amber cane. This is the door that contains the specimen fragment for the Spinosaurus, so it must also contain the Big Dipper map….which opens the path to Site C. Then, underneath the Mining crane office should be Atherton's Monorail….We can take it to a hidden part of the Harbor beneath Sorna. From there, we can take either the Submarine or other transport such as the Helicopter to find our way straight into Site C and rescue Ian."
Sara Harding: "Oh good, gee you make it sound so easy! Well lets get it over with…" ((Suddenly, the steps beneath them shake and turn very unstable….the very surface of the floor breaks apart. It is glaringly clear they need to scale this mountain, yet most platforms inside the mines collapse.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Keep up, Dr. Harding….One wrong move in the Mine shaft means one's demise."
*Suddenly, Anne Carter and Dr. Harding crawl outside the labs and enter a large scaffolding. They are now climbing inside of tunnels which lie on the opposite side of the Coast Side labs. The scaffolding is rickety, old and ready to crumble. As Anne and Harding continue up the sloping mountain, they witness each side of the rails and walkways fall into the abyss. They still continue to climb upward, as the wooden planks beneath their feet tumble off the cliff. As they make their way finally to the elevator, they see a recorded transcript. The recording mentions Joe Rossiter checked on Nedry's progress with the Amber, and questioned whether it might be good to meet them again at the Mining project. It also mentions a key meeting before Nedry entered the Docks, and how InGen attempted to sabotage things so Rossiter never found out about the DNA samples. Then, a hidden recording of Rossiter's own voice finally plays as well: Rossiter: "I can't tell you how disappointed I am to hear, that Nedry never made it. The samples are still sitting on a table somewhere, untouched by anyone else. Presumably Miles and our rescue team weren't able to find them. Somebody at the Labs is trying to mess with our radios. I know Sample DF is still located inside the Mining facility, I intend to send Dodgson there if for some reason Cooper doesn't return with it in the morning. I did tell him to leave the camera and grenade rifle behind. That blood sample is vital to complete the Pterosaur project we've been working on….Hopefully of course, no one else…Including Roland Tembo finds this e-mail message. It would be quite a shame if our Site C facility was discovered early…I'm sending Oscar a updated map now. 30 degrees longitude northwest….129 kilometers (approximate) from Isla Sorna….Land at the Mountain Summit fuel depot, on the basin level of Isla Muerta. Travel light, Muerta is covered with Ice storms at least half the year…..I wouldn't want any of our men to catch frostbite." At that point Anne turns around with a slight look of concern…that's it….she realizes. That is the proof they need to find Site C, and put a stop to this now.*
Anne Jones Carter: "Did you hear the whole message, Sara? Rossiter said they found a new specimen in the Mining colony…..And he was very disappointed in Nedry for not containing the fallout. They were engineering a set of those beasts, those horrifying monsters on Site C…..That's why Doctor Wu never checked in again. This is why all the records about the Amber mines project were erased….They didn't want anyone to know what was being extracted in the mines! Don't you see it, now?"
Anne Jones Carter: "They've been working on the Site C, hidden project for years….Right under our nose…..Where all the black-ops projects take place. (She exhales.) I'm talking about…something serious. Something I need to tell Malcolm and Owen, if we ever run into him. They're cloning these monsters….Not only that, they are engineering some kind of secret experiment….I don't know what Specimen DF is, but whatever it is….it wasn't just on Sorna…It's on Isla Muerta…They turned it into some kind of monster Island, and all I can tell you is we need to grab Hammond's cane NOW…."
Sara Harding: "What are you….what are you doing!?"
*Anne shuts all the data pads and logs out of the computer. An angered Albertosaurus leaps out of the cavern, and two large rockets are blasted off at high velocity straight through its neck. It stalks Carter in the cool, misty night air….following her to look for dinner. Finally the 2 nearby Dinosaurs explode, and Carter leaps into the rickety old cabin that is sticking right out the side of the Mountain Mines. It begins to tumble and collapse, and just as it does she rips John Hammond's Amber Cane directly out of the wall near the floor. It flies out onto the cavern floor, just as Anne is about to tumble down with the cabin into the abyss of doom…when suddenly Sara leaps into the crevice and extends her arm. She pulls Anne back up onto the windy slope, just in the nick of time as the whole cabin and rest of the computers fall off the cliff tumbling down deep into the mineshaft below. *
Sara Harding: "Hang on there, Anne….Remember that's what you told me? You did it…"
Anne Jones Carter: "Thank you….Yes, we did it. We have John Hammond's Amber Cane."
Anne Jones Carter: "C'mon, lets go rescue Ian and the rest. There's no time to waste."
*They rush down the corridor, being chased by a massive pair of Dinosaurs. It is two extremely enraged Allosaurus who rush down the corridor after them, and this time they are right on their heels as they dive past the falling columns. Anne beelines it for the Lab, and runs into the center chamber ducking the large tanks in the process without warning. As they emerge on the other side of the clearing, they look at the huge laboratory tanks that extend all the way through. Anne tips the Amber cane upside down to shake it off and shake it out, and suddenly the large chamber on top opens up. Out tumbles a secret password which spells "GENE THERAPY" and Anne enters it into the sealed door. Suddenly the chamber bursts open to the cold light of day above, as the large room quietly hums to life for the first time in decades. Within its massive spherical walls are 2 tanks containing the clone of the Spinosaurus, and on the other side of the room is the star chart for the Little Dipper. Anne flips the switch as it lights up the room, showing off a secret route in the Atlantic Ocean...directly over to the Isla Muerta by passing through the rocky ring of death. Directly over to the hidden world of Site C./
Sara Harding: "Oh my gosh, it's the map….The map to the hidden world…"
Anne Jones Carter: "Yes, it is Sara…..Come on…We need to get moving. Full steam!"
Anne Jones Carter: "Next stop, the Monorail station and Coast side labs…It's time to enter Site C."
/Camera pans out, to the Isla Muerta more than 90 kilometers from this area. It is damp and frigid, with a certain frozen element in the air. You can barely see your hands in front of your face, as though the tundra just keeps going into the horizon. There your breath quickly gets caught up in the dizziness of the rain, as you peer out into the massive arena looking over the lakefront vistas. Inside the ancient Incan shrine, 2 kids…Arby and Kelly begin their trek to the surface of a massive cavern time forgot./
Megalodon: "GRAAWWWRRR! SNAARRL! RAAOOOOARRRR!" ((The massive, giant Shark creature collides into the medium sized Submarine that lies more than 100 meters below the water. It knocks the hull sideways, bridging the gap of the air pockets as suddenly the vessel begins spinning into the water sideways towards a massive set of spicy rocks that lie exactly 25 meters across from them.))
Arby: "Ahhh Kelly, the controls, I can't see the controls! I can't see the front of the radar to tell where it's headed!"
Kelly: "Well it's headed straight for the jagged rocks…..Move, do something now!" ((Kelly shouts, as if letting out a gut-wrenching scream that bounces off the air. They cannot move the control panel, as it begins to freeze up & stall….suddenly Arby gets the idea of rolling the Submarine towards the corner, by dropping their speed to exactly 5 knots…As the Submarine rolls, the massive Megalodon is in pursuit.))
Megalodon: "RROOOOOOAAARR! GRAAWRR!" ((The massive shark bellows, as it angrily just misses the rear door of the vessel. It's frightening jaws bounce off the frigid metal, unable to puncture the inside and take out the passengers in the nick of time.))
Malcolm: "Kids! Hold on, I'm coming….Dad's coming to get you, I promise…It's just a nightmare." ((Malcolm yells as he realizes he has to intervene now….He gets on a diver suit at the ledge, holds his breath for deep dives…and jumps straight off into the dark abyss below. Malcolm shoots down, swimming as fast as he can about 38 meters when he catches eye of the Megalodon….He springs into action and rips open a giant supply chest sitting in a cove underwater. Ian grabs more than 4 Signal flare flame devices, and fashions them into make-shift cannons. He then aims the unstable device towards the shark, firing off 2 direct shots….which make critical impact forcing the Shark back further.))
Kelly: "Dad! That's you!? I knew you wouldn't leave us behind, I knew it! I knew you were coming back, no way you leave us in a Dinosaur infested kingdom like this place is…."
Malcolm: "Kids, I made it!" (He shouts through the bubbles.) Don't worry here…I am going to get us all out of this situation…for sure…somehow..) *Ian says as he glances over at the Submarine.*
Arby: "Hey, over here! It's me Ian….We left right after that huge beast started running through the temple….I saw the ruins, figured you had ran into the Ruins without us to look for Gerry Harding…"
Arby: "Umm…We got a submarine here, yeah…I don't know what to do! Maybe you can help us….get the heck out of this place."
Malcolm: "I can see that, Arby…I'm going to board the Submarine….Surely you guys didn't just…assume it was seaworthy? Well as long as it works….Yeah, Dr. Harding and Sara's uncle is dead I think…..I truly didn't believe the stories, but it's true….Site C thanks to Dr. Henry Wu…"
Malcolm: "Oh by the way, I ran into Dr. Wu here too…."
Kelly and Arby: "What?! But….he died protecting Owen…"
Malcolm: "I know, that's what I for sure thought too…But maybe that was Henry's brother...It looks like Biosyn brought him back from death somehow…They've figured out how to clone Gerry Harding, maybe they did the same thing with others….maybe even bio-engineering dinosaurus…"
Kelly: "Oh my god, that's so scary if it's true…"
Malcolm: "….Those are the realities of cloning or gene therapy, kids. It's a dangerous game. I truly wonder if Biosyn is here…..then we probably haven't seen the last of other people, too…."
Kelly: "Well we ran into Steingarten on our way through the ruins….He claims Biosyn figured out some kind of code, called project regenesis…Which can bring dinos and people back to life sometimes.."
Arby: "That's truly freaky if it's true…..Could that explain Dodgson and that other soldier?"
Malcolm: "Yeah kids…I think so…and if it is true, we'll need all the help we can get…I sure hope Grant's team knows what to do…"
Kelly: "Forget it, for now that Megalodon is coming back for another pass….Help us get the Submarine started! I think there's a cave exactly 50 meters up from here….if we break in, we can get out of this place & figure out an answer to the dark secrets which Site C left behind…"
Malcolm: "About that dark secrets part….I know one woman who can help us with that…Hopefully, she's been studying what happened with the Costa Rican family here as much as I have…..I think, Biosyn likely runs this Island….And part of the secret is they've been doing gene-therapy on Dinosaurs for generations….to mold, shape them into secret monsters...Far worse than anything we've seen.."
Arby: "Um…According to the terminal I found, the DX gene virus may have something to do with all of it…..You heard of DX right, Ian? Steingarten hinted this is what they were fooling around with…"
Malcolm: "No, never heard DX mentioned before in that context…If so things are worse than I thought….Alright Kelly, fire up the mainframe…We need to get the Sub moving now….Radar's scrambled, it may be our only way out of this secret cave that was built by the Incans of this land…"
Malcolm: "(Exhales.) And if that's all true, god, they may be some of the only people who know how to beat these guys….As far as we know, the Ancients who built this Island know more about these hybrid-Dinosaurs than we do…..A whole lot more….Maybe that's why the terminal calls it dark secrets…"
Kelly: "Yeah...I got the navigation engine to start whirring again….I think the vessel is moving….Oh geez, did y'all hear that?! It's the Megalodon….I think it just woke up!"
Arby: ((He sprints to the other side…as Arby looks out the main window hub he gulps at the terror they feel.)) "We all live in a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine…a yellow submarine….We all live in a yellow submarine….just...like….a dream, dream dream…" "Oh this is not good…I got the tail of the Sub to move Ian, I can't get us to spin faster than 20 knots…..We're rising towards the surface…slowly.."
Malcolm: "Good, kids. That's it….Just move the nose up slightly faster…Yeah, we need to pick up speed and rise…"
/Suddenly, out of nowhere the massive Megalodon bursts through the water like a missile….Heading straight for the rear of the aft on the Submarine's deck. As it does so, a medium sized Sebo Kronosaurus suddenly crashes through the cave and attacks the Megalodon..The trio watch on in horror, as the Megalodon & Kronosaurus begin to fight….15 meters in front of the sub…And that is when Arby gets an idea….This would be their chance to break for the surface, if ever there was one./
Megalodon: "GRAAAAWWRRR! RROOOOAARR!" ((The massive Megalodon suddenly snaps the Kronosaurus' tail into pieces, as the Dinosaur bites onto its dorsal fin. Then, it rears back in a rage as the Megalodon moves at near warp speed….slamming the side of the sub which forces it to tumble 20 meters up…directly into the caves as it gets walloped along the path to the surface. Meanwhile, the Kronosaurus with broken tail angrily reacts and slashes at the Megalodon gripping it in its massive jaws….it hurls the beast more than 35 meters up and to the right…which plunges the Shark straight through the 2 experimental pod tanks….Forcing glass, debris, and large pieces of the cave ceiling to go shooting off in all directions. The trio sees their chance…They begin to steer the Sub again and redirect it 20 knots to the right, so they are headed diagonally towards a narrow cave….This cave that opened up appears to be their only chance of escape.))
Malcolm: "Now, kids! Load the harpoon launcher…This sub still contains a harpoon for a reason… ((Ian steadies his voice as he aims the massive harpoon at the Shark, ensuring its more than 10 meters from the Kronosaurus which is likewise growling nearby…))
Sebo Kronosaurus: "RAAAWRR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAWRR!" ((Suddenly the massive kronosaurus rips through the water, and destroys a massive section of the lab with its bare claws. Hurling it through the open sea, it spins upward and bounces off the wall…destroying the entire ceiling as this entire lab begins to collapse under the weight of the 2 reptiles…which drags the Megalodon out to the surface.))
Kelly: "I see it dad and I'm moving as fast as we can…" ((Kelly loads the 3 harpoons into the zero point launcher….then, without warning they shoot off 3 harpoons into the Megalodon…Which causes it to roar angrily and back off, as it cuts through the exterior buoy pylons which hold the lab in place above the surface. Each one of the pylons snap, as the entire lab begins to fall into the river water….right on top of the Megalodon as it bellows and angrily thrashes tearing the whole room to pieces.))
Arby: "Oh no….Hang on!" (Arby turns up the speed….They now travel at 50 knots, as the Submarine tumbles full throttle towards the surface. Narrowly missing the Kronosaurus, they suddenly burst through the cavern's opening.) "This is gonna be really bad!"
Malcolm: "O.k. kids, well done….I think we might just get out of here before the Shark does.."
((Ian speaks with a sigh of relief, as the Submarine glides like a cannon ball directly into the cave…..They wipe the sweat off their brow, as the trio effortlessly makes it out of the cavern into the river. For now they are safe, more than 90 meters now from the huge Shark as they make their way out to the jungle.))
Kelly: "Great work, Arby….I think we lost it for now…Looks like this tiny river leads to the ocean. Maybe the cliffs over there will show us a path to get off of this Island…"
Malcolm: "I sure hope that's true, Kelly…But somehow I doubt it…That's not even on InGen's list…This is probably not the last time we will meet that awful Shark…."
/Camera pans out to exterior of Isla Muerta, showing they are 80 kilometers from where Grant is found and 30 kilometers from the entrance to the Cliffside Mountain Summit. Large sheets of rain and hail continue to pour down across the Island, as it zooms out to a longer view of Isla Sorna. The large Monorail like station stretches for 3 miles, as the pair travel their way through the tunnels to the other side of Norman Atherton's former offices. They enter a long corridor that loops off into a lab. Back in the basement of the Mining base and Coast Side Labs, Dr. Harding and Anne Carter cautiously approach the tunnel leading to the West underground dock. They hear something terrifying growling, yet all you see is empty air. Out of nowhere 2 large sickle claws fly through the air, coming right next to Carter's left shoulder. The Therizinosaurus had followed them into the place where the Submarine was docked.*
Therizinosaurus: "RAAWWWR! GRAAWWR!" ((The 2 huge sickle claws flew out in a rage, and pierced the tank containing the Mosasaur. The massive Dinosaur then lifted the medium Mosasaur in the air, tossing it outside the lab and disturbingly cutting it in two. This Therizinosaurus was not a hybrid, nor a carnivore, but was far more dangerous than anything they'd yet encountered. It had been genetically modified slightly to be fast as well as capable of running through water, a thought that truly didn't sit well with Carter or Sara at all.))
Anne Jones Carter: "O.k…Sara, I told you don't say a word. Don't even breathe right now…..It's inside the lab hunting for both of us."
Sara Harding: "Great, so where's the ship? Where is the submarine?"
Anne Jones Carter: "The sub is long gone, Dr. Harding…Which means it is for certain at Site C….The only way according to this map to get there, is through an emergency Helicopter pad 2 clicks north of here. That's at the top of this lab directly east of the Amber Mines."
Anne Jones Carter: "If you make a bunch of noise, that hideous beast will hear us….If you follow my lead, it won't know we're here….And we can sneak past it, except when it attacks one of us at points….Since there's no way that hideous Therizinosaurus isn't going to find us in here…"
Sara Harding: "W-w-whatever….you say…" (She shudders.) (Harding has never encountered such a scary creature before, and worse still it can jump at least 10 meters. It could find them if they move too fast….and to top it off, this thing is a herbivore….It will still kill them fast in spite of that…)
Anne Jones Carter: "Don't alert it over here, Sara…Whatever you do…I'm going to distract that monster right now." ((Carter then tosses a large bouncy smoke ball on the table North of them….As the orange ball bounces up and down, it attracts the Therizinosaurus who suddenly smashes all the chemical tubes in the area…killing the Spinosaurus and Dimetrodon clones. It then stabs its massive sickle claws straight through the East freezer, 4 feet away from where they were hiding…narrowly missing their chest. This wasn't going to be fun at all.))
/Anne gets the bright idea to shoot her gatling gun towards the West Wall, creating a massive noise which distracts the beast. They then run along the narrow presentation hallway that separates the Chemistry Lab from the audience who typically watches the process. As they are doing so, Desks and Chairs are being tossed horizontally across…..destroying the displays & monitors…while the Therizinosaurus lumbers along in the dark and roars in outrage. It had spotted something….it was about to find them Anne thought with a shudder. She dives under the North table and forces Harding under the West table just in time, as the massive sickle claws of the Dinosaur land 2 meters directly from her shivering head. Just then, the Therizinosaurus rips off the hinges for the west door with its claws & tosses it through the glass…..ruining the rest of the lab. Anne realizes she needs to run for the door to get on the staircase, but she doesn't dare do it yet.*
Sara Harding: "Where is it….." (Harding whispers…with dread.)
Therizinosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAWRRR! ROOOOOOOOARR!" ((Out of nowhere, the 2 sickles slice through the East presentation office desk…..causing it to fly right off into the ceiling. It leaps in the air to be standing on the Northern office desk now….Directly near where Anne is hiding beneath.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Its…4 feet away….Don't breathe…" ((Anne suddenly takes out a napalm grenade, and lights it on fire with kerosene sulfur…As all a sudden the lab begins to burst into flames, she tosses the grenade into the Chemistry set two meters to the right….in which it explodes, sending red hot acid across the room…And melts part of the Therizinosaurus sickle, as it angrily falls backwards. It loses balance and half its arm blazes in the heat of the fire.))
Therizinosaurus: "RAAAWWWRRR!" ((It forcefully tosses its sickles out, angrily trying to shoot one arm out like a boomerang across the hall. 2 of the Office desks are instantly destroyed. Anne who is hiding under the third desk, sprints fast for the door and grabs the staircase. She motions for Harding to follow after her quickly, and don't look back.))
Sara Harding: "This is crazy!" ((Sara says as she flips through the air and somersaults over the table. And as if by instinct, she grabs the large Chemical injector and stabs it right into the Therizinosaurus right arm…..before bolting it for the staircase. Both Anne Carter and Harding start rushing and climbing the stairway sideways, rather than running up the stairs since the massive Dinosaur is right behind them. They flip on each-other's backs, and stand on the shoulders of the first person….Until they quickly ascend the stairs to the roof. Finally, a massive sickle claw flies out the Exit door just as they are running to the Helicopter pad…..It had made it to the roof, it had followed them up Anne notices.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Hang on, Sara…We have to move….Now!"
*The chilly air is broken by Anne shouting out as 4 bola snare rounds are shot off to the North, nailing the massive Therizinosaurus in the back. It rears back in a rage, and forces its massive hand to crush part of the Helicopter's right aft wing. Just then, Anne gets the brilliant idea to unload all the C4 carbon explosive rounds in a single shot….And she slingshots them into the Dinosaur./
Therizinosaurus: "RAAAAWWWRR! GRAAWWWRR!" ((The massive Dinosaur bellows in anger, as Anne begins to pull the flight stick up really hard. Her Helicopter then begins to move all a sudden, as Sara gets in the back and looks out at the monster in bewilderment. Anne is about to fly anyway, and force the Helicopter blades to shoot straight through the Therizinosaurus massive spiked body!))
Anne Jones Carter: "Hang on, Sara…No time for that!" ((Suddenly the entire Helicopter arches backward, as the massive Chopper Blades shred at more than 90 miles per minute…into the Therizinosaurus from the back, chopping its tail entirely off. It angrily slashes at the Helicopter, attempting to toss it right off the building….And right then, Anne gets another idea.))
Therizinosaurus: "RAAAWWRR! GRAAAWWRRR!" ((It thrashes in a rage, as its massive sickle claws cut part of the Helicopter clear off. Then Anne unloads every last Electrical Grenade into the Dinosaur, as it begins to fly backward in slow motion. Finally, Anne pulls up real hard on the Control Shifter Stick…..And forces the Helicopter blades to slice straight through the Dinosaur….tearing it to pieces. By the time it's over, the Helicopter is barely lifting off…..and only thing left of the beast is a scythe claw.))
Sara Harding: "That was so frightening….I thought we were both dead, for sure…Tell me it's over?"
Anne Jones Carter: "So did I, Sara….So did I. (She exhales.) C'mon, let's go rescue Ian…Let's go to Site C and stop these guys once and for all…"
/Camera pans out on Isla Sorna at night….A nearby predator at the Lagoon is stalking the 4 veteran hunters. They are totally unaware of what lurks at the water's edge, but Owen can't help but feel very uneasy….Like he's been through here before. And this won't be the last time he's in the water.*
