~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 13: The Water Tower and Tyrannosaurus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
/Camera pans in to a large enclosure east of the Lagoon. It contains various Dinosaurs, from Dimetrodons to Ankylosaurus to even a Diplodocus. And in the ravine lite area near the Lagoon's surface, it once housed a Mosasaurus. As the 4 hunters enter the Lab, they glance around the wall with concern. Drawn across each one of the lab walls is diagrams of ancient reptiles. From the Dilophosaurus, to the large Kronosaurus, to other specimens like the Iguanadon…They can't help but feel isolated here. This is Isla Sorna in the afternoon time. And as the 4 hunters enter the main lab, they see the rigid Jungle air suddenly get very hot and inhospitable. They are in a wetlands type area, and need to return all the Turbines to their original power setting. /
Muldoon: "Look alive, there's a pair of Dilophosaurus' staring right at us 2 clicks to the right…..Diego, Owen, go check it out now…"
Dilophosaurus: "ROOOOOARR! GRAAWRR!" ((The Dilophosaurus angrily roars and spits venom at Diego, destroying his right leg. Claire and Owen sneak up around the back to try to give it a run over and get out of the way of the tables.))
Diego: "I see it Hermano, hang on mi compadre…" ((Diego shouts as he shoots off four electrical bombs towards the massive pair of Dilophosaurus. They start to scatter and leap onto the tables, in the east and west rooms…and shoot their venom in wave patterns. Wave 1 hits both Diego and Owen, knocking them back twenty yards. Wave 2 then comes in and hits Muldoon, as he struggles to shoot off several shotgun blasts towards each creature. Wave 3 hits Claire in the side. They start firing off their gatling gun rounds, impaling several of the Dilophosaurus' herds with a wave of bullets. Blue then rears up.))
Blue: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAWRR! GRAAAAAAAAAWRRR! RAWWWEELLLSCREEET!" ((Blue angrily bellows as it attacks one of the Dilophosaurus members, tossing it through a wall with its jaws. She then begins leaping in the air and circling around at the other 2 Dilophosaurus in the back….bursting at a high rate of speed into the pack, knocking them over on their backs and side.))
Dilophosaurus: "HISSSS! ROAAAAAAAAAAAARR!" ((Dilophosaurus number 4 shoots out a huge pattern of venom at all 3 hunters….and circles around Claire getting ready to leap on her. It rushes into the main lab, knocking over Owen as Diego shoots off all his rockets towards the creature.))
Muldoon: "Bloody hell, shoot it now!" ((Muldoon screams as he fires off 5 explosive gatling gun shells into Dilophosaurus 5 and 3, blowing them both backwards out the side wall. Each one tumbles off the table as the Embryos in the area burst into balls of flame. Just then, Diego plows through the side and shoots the large hazard tanks above on the Eastern bookcase…forcing them to explode and fly downward towards the 2 massive Dinosaurs. Dilophosaurus 1 finally erupts into a ball of flames.))
Owen: "I say, run to the other side….Then lead them back in a circle towards the trap…Get 'em Blue, you got that one on the run!"
/Blue angrily shoots over the stairs at the 2 attacking Dilophosaurus pair….Knocking them over the table, and through a sheet of glass 2 meters east of there. They were all attacking at once and Blue got fed up with it as she glares in anger at Dilophosaurus number 3. It scurries over to attack and spits venom upon Diego, nearly blinding him with the ooze. Just then, Claire knocks over a table filled with test tubes…that explode to create a huge path of fire that engulfs all 4 of the Dilophosaurus.*
Diego: "Robert, get him! Here I'll cover the west flank…" ((He shouts, as 4 sets of explosive bullets are hurled across the halls at the remaining 2 Dilophosaurus which retreat towards the stairs. They spit venom angrily and rear up on their hind legs, ready to attack and slice the area to pieces.))
Muldoon: "You infernal creatures need to bloody well back off….Leave it to those Dilophosaurus monsters to ruin a good picnic by the power plant." ((He shoots out 2 to 4 explosive rounds, which bounce up and down and shred every one of the vicious beasts into pieces…the huge Lab shakes and rolls with the seismic blasts of these massive Dinosaurs.))
Owen: "Oh, that was truly not necessary….Here, take this! ((He fires off 2 incendiary rounds which explode on impact….Instantly destroying the western hall Dilophosaurus, blowing its head clean off as it falls back near the freezer. The other 2 Dilophosaurus predators in the North Shed begin to stalk the pair of hunters from the left and right. As they make their way into the clearing, they hoot loudly…making a beeline for the first row of cylindrical test tubes. They spread out and begin destroying the Lab's contents, shattering everything in their wake.))
/Muldoon ascends the stairs, to get a better vantage point at what he is looking at. All a sudden, one of the larger predators an Meta Dilophosaurus rears up on its hind legs and begins spitting phosphoric acid at Diego's left arm….melting part of it right off within seconds. It angrily shakes the table, destroying all the test-tubes. Claire notices that a few of these tubes contain actual Dinosaur DNA for the Archaeopteryx and Albertosaurus as well as a new specimen called "Specimen DF"….she can scarcely believe her eyes as she stares onward. She shifts the massive injector into position and begins shooting all the DNA in a steady stream….instantly breaking everything open.*
Claire: "This is….oh my gaaawd, that is a Metriacanthosaurus! They have one of those, incredibly rare Dinosaurs inside this lab….No one has ever seen or heard of them before." ((She stands back in shock, as the entire Lab begins to burn down.))
Muldoon: "Forget that, folks…..Diego…" ((He twists the large wheel to the right 3 times, opening the gap on both sides of the Boiling vents for the Water Turbine. It lights up as Water begins rushing back and forth, between the pylons and bringing in a full labyrinth style cage that shatters most of the cracks in the ceiling. Suddenly, large residue begins pouring out in all directions…as though it is filling the station with some kind of vapor. The power conduits begin to roar back to life, one by one…as electrical power is finally restored between each of the panels.)) "Diego I need you ova' here right now….The second generator is back online, this surge meter says…..That means the water is running in all valves now."
Diego: "Hold on, hermano….This whole building is about to burst into flames…Roberto, run out the back door now esse….This is no joke, everything is about to go up in smoke!"
*The 4 hunters sprint for the exit, which lights up in the Darkened hall. Rows of computers are stacked, front to back….With one monitor next to the next set of monitors, and altogether more than 40 rows of different machines buzzing in the background. A long beeping noise disrupts the stack of monitors and forces most of the other machines in the back to spark. Then, in the hall a darkened shadow emerges….It is the Canoa Ceratosaurus…A rare hybrid of the Ceratosaurus which can actually phase through solid walls and buildings. An experiment gone wrong, this type of Ceratosaurus was originally created in Site C…..yet somehow, it had made its way over into Site B, Isla Sorna…and even to the inlet Islands surrounding the now ruined Isla Nublar which was covered in clouds of smoke. Owen's jaw dropped wide open, as he couldn't believe his eyes./
Diego: "Muldoon…..(Diego whispers.) What the….hell is that thing!?" ((He points towards the shimmering Ceratosaurus, which is literally phasing through walls like Swiss cheese 10 meters to the right of the main Lab's Embryonic terminal.))
Canoa Ceratosaurus: "ROOOOOOOOOOARR! GRAWWRRRR! HSSSSSSS SNAAAP!" ((Suddenly, the massive bipedal creature begins to phase through the walls and appears exactly 5 meters west of Muldoon….It rears back on its hind legs, splitting the hunter's ear clean off.))
Muldoon: "My god, no….That is horrific…Aaghhhhhh! ((Muldoon grabs his loose ear)) That is none other than one of those bloody hybrids….It's supposed to be a Ceratosaurus, which can phase through solid matter…..So to that thing, walls aren't even real…..It just passes right through them…Like a ghost."
Owen: "What?! No, Robert…..NO…This is what we signed up for, here….Sure, I can handle a big lizard that can turn invisible….Or heck an Alligator that can shoot through the ground like a worm….But this….No…..That's impossible…"
Diego: "N-n-no…..Freaking way hermano….No way that Dinosaur can do that!"
Muldoon: "Oh, but it can…..We're not safe here…..Claire, Diego….RUN LIKE HELL TOWARDS THE EASTERN TUNNEL! And Owen….do try to keep up….Be a shame if we lose ya in the drink like we did Vic Hoskins and the rest…"
Canoa Ceratosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR!" ((All of a sudden, the giant bi-pedal beast starts phasing directly through the walls 3 clicks to the West. It stands up on its massive hind legs, phasing directly in front of Diego and biting off his left hand nearly clean off by eating 3 fingers.)) "GRAAAWWRRR!" ((Its massive tail, flies straight through ten glass tables….Without ever scratching a single one….and cuts Owen's right leg with a deep red gash.))
Owen: "Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" ((Owen fires off 4 bola snare rounds to the right, destroying the large overhang that's above the lab including the spotlight. It sparks and crashes, falling to the ground as it destroys half the entrance. Then Owen and Diego bolt for the door at the top of the stairs, he can feel freedom calling….He turns, he runs and leaps straight out the open window to the jungle floor below. He ignites a procession of grenades behind him, blowing up everything in their path…..including the lights above the Lab which come crashing to the ground. Then he aims the dual Rail gun cannon at the building, instantly blowing it to pieces….As Muldoon and Claire exit off the roof, jumping quickly to the jungle 20 meters down. Just as they are about to escape, the massive Ceratosaurus' head phases in through the front of a giant Streetlight….breaking the light in half, and slashing Diego with its big toe.))
Canoa Ceratosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAWRR! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRRGG!" ((It out of nowhere floats over the ground, chasing Muldoon like some kind of sick ghost from the absolutely worst theatrical version of Signs. He can't lose the scent of this creature, and begins to freak out….Making a mad dash for the water.))
Muldoon: "Good bloody gawd, what have we run into this time…" (Muldoon inhales, as he fires off 4 direct rockets straight into the Ceratosaurus 2 ton head.) "Whatever that thing is made of, it isn't on any bloody list….Diego, loosen up and lose the gear…..This monster can phase through solid matter…that didn't say anything about water and liquids, though, did it…."
/Right then, Muldoon's gears started to turn and he dove head first into the Lagoon looking for a vine or something to grab a hold of. The giant Ceratosaurus phased inside the lake, yet suddenly became solid again as the Water surrounded its body…Out of nowhere, a large massive sea reptile came shooting up and cut off its tail within its jaws. It was a Tylosaurus, and it was very, very mad.*
Diego: "Thank gods we can touch that nasty beast again, Robert! ((Diego shouts as he fires his harpoon straight into the Ceratosaurus right leg…forcing it to move as it drags the hunter under.)) That gives me a quick idea, here…."
*Diego suddenly takes out a huge supply cache belonging to deep sea divers. He unloads all 8 of the water mines, covering each one with the scent of the Triceratops and other dinner like roast Trout…then dumps them all into the Lagoon and starts to swim out there./
Owen: "Diego….What the….What are you doing…"
Claire: "Owen, stop….Don't interrupt their focus!"
Muldoon: "Here, Diego….Look lively, it's right behind your flank…." ((He tosses him an electric grenade.))
Canoa Ceratosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWRR! ROAAAAAAAAAARR! ARAWWWRR!" ((The massive Dinosaur bellows in anger, as it snaps its jaws around Diego….trying to phase in and out of the water as it changes color.))
Diego: "That's it, follow me you fishy bstrd!" ((Diego then swims like mad towards the Cave 20 meters down, as the Ceratosaurus tries to follow him. The deeper it goes, the more Diego speeds up…..and as he enters the cave he then moves vertical…he's getting ready to break for the surface. The massive creature is destroying the whole room in his wake, as it enters and lands on more than eight water mines….Then out of nowhere, the whole reptile explodes….tossing its limbs across the lakebed.))
Muldoon: "Great work, Diego…..Get out now…Move it, don't look for anyone!"
Diego: "It's dead, Robert! I told you it would work…That thing is the stuff of nightmares….I just hope we can get off this forsaken Island now and never look back…"
Owen: "Hoooowo boy, that was not anything I was expecting out here…."
Claire: "Well thank god it's dead and gone for now….That was like the worst version of Thirteen Ghosts I've ever seen, geezuz…"
Muldoon: "Like I said, look alive….That should be the last of the Embryos. Now, we take the Tylosaurus DNA and other Archaeopteryx DNA to that radiation room, along with the Raptor fragment…so they can all be destroyed. Whatever that thing was….(He inhales silently.) We destroy that, too…Good god…"
Diego: "Alright….Now that Radio comms are restored Robert…How far to the Helipad?"
Muldoon: "That's the thing….We need to make our way to Site C….The Helipad and Radio station is North, through the Desert Mountain pass. There's a large herd of Raptors which stalk that area, and we got to pass through all that before we get to join the helicopter…"
Muldoon: "So we got about 2 miles left to go…..Alright Owen, you said you have business on the mainland. Best use the Radio switch here to send your message, there's no others for another 5 miles south of here."
Claire: "Oh, that's right….You were going to ask him about those marine Dinosaurs…"
Owen: "That I was…..Alright, let me make this call using the Radio station. I should be able to tune into the right frequency from here….."
Owen's voice over the radio: "Hello, InGen harbor master…This is Owen Grady….I'm stranded right now on Site B, copy…and I captured a Mosasaur….Is Richard Levine in the office?"
InGen Harbor Master over the radio: "Copy that, Owen…you said you captured a younger Mosasaurus?! Levine just stepped in the office….He's here with an older chap, Roland Tembo…and a Tim Murphy something last I heard."
Roland's Voice: "My my, do I hear this correct? You caught an eye full of a Mosasaurus?!
Tim's voice: "What…..No possible way….you captured the thing alive?"
Richard Levine over the radio: "Hello, Owen…Don't mind them. What can I do for you here?"
Owen Grady over the radio: "Umm….The thing is Richard, I want to catch a bigger fish….There's a Megalodon rumored to be on Site C, and Blue and I caught this big old Mosasaur…"
Owen over the radio: "Will it work, if I sedate it and drop it in the water….cover it in enticing food bits….do you think the Megalodon will finally pop up and swallow it whole here?"
Richard Levine over the radio: "Well, how big is it….I mean you need to lure it out…Long as it hasn't eaten its normal food for 3 days, then well, with the right bait….Yeah it might go for it…"
Owen over the radio: "Thanks so much Richard, you're the best…I knew I could count on you!"
Richard Levine over the radio: "Sure, there. Remember to leave it in the water. Thanks for calling in."
Muldoon: "That answer all your questions? I'm telling you, Richard….or Roland…doesn't bloody know."
Diego: "Sounds like a real adventure here…"
Owen: "Oh would you guys stop it? Of course it will work….I just need the right bait. Let's get moving!"
Claire: "Great, so now my feet will be killing me for another 3 days….Alright, I'm coming guys….Don't just run ahead so fast, I mean the jungle is huge out here…"
Muldoon: "As I said since the start, stay near the trail…Don't wander into the tall jungle ferns. The real threat in these parts are the Dinosaurs you can't easily spot…Keep up, Diego…"
Muldoon: "There's the Water Tower….look lively men. We're scaling it to open up the main water pump. Now as soon as we twist those valves, we should see the Embryonics room light up. Inside will be the large hatchling for the Baryonyx, as well as Hadrosaurus…We need to bring them to the radiation room. Destroy all of them." ((Muldoon barks, as they scale the Water Tower. Suddenly a massive head looms.
/A huge carnivorous Dinosaur, towering more than 19 feet in the air and weighing over 4 tons….rips its enormous jaws across the Water Tower. The giant beast begins to push it to the side and whip it in frustration. It roars angrily and shakes the Eastern half of the Water Tower, to the point where part of it falls straight into the jungle floor below.*
Tyrannosaurus Rex: "ROOOOOOOOARR! GRAAOOOOAARR!" ((The thunderous voice of the Tyrannosaur echoes in the daylit sky…shaking the Water Tower to its core. Diego and Muldoon sprint up the East face of the Tower, as they try to grab hold of branch over branch…to break their fall.))
Diego: "Hold on Muldoon, Owen…..Watch out!" ((He fires off 3 direct shots of the gatling gun, nailing the massive Tyrannosaurus in the right side of its head. It roars back in anger, shaking the entire jungle canopy to pieces….with large trunks of tree flying in all directions. Diego then pierces it with an explosive nerve bomb, which forces the Tyrannosaur to become paralyzed for a few minutes.))
Tyrannosaurus Rex: "RAOOOOOOAAAAAAROOARRR!" ((It snaps its jaws shut, plunging in and out of the Water Tower as it lifts Diego in its mouth…as his body dangles right out over the top of the Eastern half of the Tower's awning. It then shoots its enormous head straight into the redwood style Palm tree, directly east of it. As the Tyrannosaur does this, Muldoon fires off 7 high impact electric bombs that go straight into the creature's chest that begins to implode. They bounce and ricochet upward, destroying one third of the tower from the top down. Owen, Muldoon and Diego sprint for the third level of the tower…hoping to outrun the massive predator.))
Owen: "Oh, god….Blue get out of here." ((Owen loads all the tranquilizer style poison darts in his rifle…takes aim, and fires 14 shots into the Dinosaur. It stumbles back in a rage, and shakes the entire tree and jungle wall as debris flies everywhere.))
Tyrannosaurus Rex: "ROOOOOOOOARR!" ((It finally bounces its jaws off the side, tearing open Muldoon's left leg and leaving him on a limp. It then zooms in close and flips Claire up the tree, dragging her right arm out with a shout and cutting it to ribbons. There is nowhere to run anymore.))
/Zoom out on a panoramic shot of the Water Tower, 4 meters from the Lagoon. Behind you can see land that leads to the River…and on the other side, a giant empty canyon on Isla Sorna at noon.*
/The large countryside settles into the bedrock. As the sun, quietly sets over the Eastern horizon. You can see miles of plains, and along those plains are Dinosaurs…living and breathing as they roam the world. Even the Tyrannosaurus Rex can be seen here, a large group that pulled up just east of thunder road…..as the camera pans out to an aerial shot of Isla Sorna in the evening. The air grows warmer.*
/Fade to the other Island, the Isla Muerta, which is more than 180 kilometers away….nestled at the forest basin and behind the massive redwood trees. There, you see Jeeps all lined up in a large circle. They are traveling to and fro, as they pass by large fuel depots. These Jeeps are marked with Jurassic Park lettering…as well as Biosyn logo. They speed along a steady track, deeper into the Island's interior. This is the most dangerous Island of all…..and as long sheets of rain fall on both sides, the pair of adventurers enter the clearing at the base of a Snowy Mountain ravine. Sara Harding and Anne Carter, are making their way inside of a large stone henge like structure. The exterior of it is housed like a Castle, with several of the Castle walls cascading down in large tower like chambers. On the inside, the halls sprawl out in each direction and showcase massive paintings on the wall.*
/One of these halls, has pictures of a Dimetrodon. Another one has massive paintings of Mr. DNA himself and yet another has several paintings of Norman Atherton, John Hammond and even a younger version of Biosyn researcher Benajmin Lockwood. Inside these paintings are references to older magazines, discussing how scary the "secret" forbidden Island is…..such as Hammond's binder. On the top, a warning is painted in bold letters. "Do not open this folder….Until the "SAFE" word is given." Anne and Sara Harding are stunned, realizing this giant ancient Castle was lying smack in the midst of Site C….Near a giant volcano, where the Quetzalcoatlus is nesting nearby. They had never imagined something so shocking and legendary, would be found out here…in the middle of nowhere. Yet there it was, like scarcely a single day had passed…the weathered journals now losing certain pages. And as Anne looks onward, she sees an experiment chamber with pictures of the Indoraptor…even a giant painting of one of the first Mastodons. She never imagined something so unusual could exist, and she motions to Dr. Harding to follow closely and watch her step….as they make their way down a large descending spiral staircase. And on the other side of these empty halls, lies a giant Incan artifact./
/The Green land outside is ominous and stretches into the distance for several miles. It is massive in scope, and as the ruins bend and unfold outward in each direction…They realize that they have never been alone on this Island. Perhaps Biosyn also wasn't aware, that they are not alone on this Island. And in the sculpture pattern that part of the building formation creates, you witness a giant circular clock face that has more than 8 numbers. The hands point in 2 directions, at each end of the cluster. Then as they enter the center of this Castle like set of ruins, they see a large shadow belonging to a Sundial./
Sara Harding: "What the heck….What is this place?!"
Anne Jones Carter: "Make sure you stay right behind me….This place is a hidden Paradise, a Causeway with a purpose. They knew how to tell the time of day, through the rays of the Moon and Sun. It looks like it's been used for experiments here…..For decades…"
Anne Jones Carter: "Yet we should keep moving…This place can get dangerous. You hear that? That distant roar…..It's living within the ruins…"
Sara Harding: "What is…We shouldn't be here…."
Anne Jones Carter: "That is…Whatever the White Devil, that is what's hiding here….."
/Suddenly, a thunderous roar is heard as 2 of the trees split in half. A giant, bi-pedal creature begins to make its way into the clearing. Its jaws clap back with absolute huge gusts of wind and tension, as the white Septio Spinosaurus hybrid topples an entire column over with its right forearm. It had followed them into this garden desert like area which widened into an enclosure, with the enormous columns towering in the lighted basin. Its fierce eyes pierced the sky with this highly volatile yellow aura…..you stared outside, and its massive head started right back. It was there, yet it was very angry this time and took no moment to introduce itself past the veneer. /

Septio Spinosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! RRAAAWWRGG!"
((Out of nowhere, the Spinosaurus' massive hybrid jaws clamp down on part of the Castle veranda….tearing the balcony where they were standing apart. Suddenly Dr Harding and Anne are running for their lives, down a long descending staircase…..deeper into the center of the ruins. They know its nearly too late, and this time the roars get much louder as the canopy is torn apart. It is chasing them through the Castle, and up the massive red arches as it looks on in abject frustration.*
Septio Spinosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWOOARR! GRROAAWWRRR!" *It spins to the side, whipping its tail across the massive Eastern Castle tower as Harding and Anne make a run for the staircase. There is no time to waste, as a all a sudden the giant tower quakes in terror….as they realize there is no escape, that all things had aligned in the stars above for this moment. The giant doe Spinosaurus was directly behind them…..with fierce fiery eyes of horror staring through the glass./
Anne Jones Carter: "Run, get out of here now!" ((Anne screams to Sara, as she spins to the side and launches more than 8 direct rockets into the Spinosaurus huge, sprawling & towering jaws. Its teeth jut up and down the enormous castle corridor, as both Anne and Harding make a break for the other part of the balcony just beyond. They sprint as fast as they can down the corridor….And the Spinosaurus entire head is right behind them…swallowing Harding's shoes up within its massive jaws.))
Sara Harding: "Oh my god….What are we going to do!? Jump out the window…Can't it see us though!? Where do we jump to?"

Anne Jones Carter: "We need to get out of this Castle now, Sara….the beast will soon bring this whole structure down. (She exhales.) There is no question, we are in deep trouble…"
Sara Harding: "Agghh! It's coming through the windows….Anne, shoot it now with the minigun!" ((Right then, Dr Harding shoots off more than 17 explosive poison darts straight into the Spinosaurus' massive right ventricle in its jaw….bursting the blood vessel wide apart. It splatters everywhere, as suddenly that towering beast vanishes. It had turned invisible….It was now hunting them in the area near the Castle wall 100 feet down which was a barrier between the open terrace and the garden.))
Septio Spinosaurus: "GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! RAAAAAAWWGGOARR!" ((The ground splits open, as its massive head bursts through the water at the side of the East Castle tower. As each of them go sprinting at full speed for an Exit, any kind of way out of this giant death trap. The Spinosaurus breaks off the western wall, crumbling it entirely under its massive 10 ft lower claw. They were now trapped inside the castle….With a massive, 20 ton predator of immense hunger and power.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Now, Sara….Unload everything you have, and leap to the ledge! Do it now!" ((Right then, Anne begins to shoot off more than 20 explosive bombs into the Dinosaur….tanking it sideways, and forcing it to slash its forearm and fling them 100 yards away to the other balcony. Half the castle crumbles, as they make their way out under the corridor at lighting speed.))
Sara Harding: "Oh my g-….gawd!" ((She shakes impulsively, and drops her giant backpack to let it fly to the ground. As fast as her legs can move, she begins to crawl inside the tunnel to the outside of the Castle wall. Provided she stays over here for just a big longer, maybe the massive Dinosaur will miss her.))
Septio Spinosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOWWOARR! ROOOOOOOOOARRR!" ((Its huge, enraged tail collides with column on the Western hallway of the Castle…forcing the entire area to crack. It begins to break apart, as half the Castle starts to slowly topple under the weight of the massive creature. It had trapped them, in one of the most unlikely traps in quite some time.))
/The pair of them had been trapped in a giant, seemingly abandoned Castle. And worse then that, there was no civilization to speak of. Whatever Incan Mayan remains of civilization, had long left this part behind and traveled off shore. And now the Septio Spinosaurus was hungry, very hungry and in need of some smaller creatures to feed on. There was no way out, it seemed like a trap was afoot./
Anne Jones Carter: "Start climbing that tree….Get out of the Castle, if we leave the inner chassis of that Castle there should be a way to get in front of it…" ((She yells with stern resolve. Then Anne begins shooting more than 22 direct electric rounds into the beast, forcing it to strike out, and crash through the huge Water Fountain that was sitting in front of the 2 largest Castle Walls parked on the terrain.))
Sara Harding: "I thought we were done for…..Shoot it!" ((Sara yells as a huge, round array of machine gun fire goes off in all directions towards the Spinosaurus head. It rears back in anger, ready to pounce. It then begins pacing back and forth where the 2 of them were hiding near the Garden Terrace.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Whatever you do, don't move…." ((Anne yells as she shoots a huge rocket powered grenade straight through its right ear. The Spinosaurus rears back in anger, tumbling over a Street Lamp outside and knocking over the Western Castle Wall. It growls ferociously, intent on tearing apart the entire scaffolding which holds up the Western Tower from turning into absolute rubble.))
Sara Harding: "God….Maybe if we run for the outskirts, we can move past this thing…"
Anne Jones Carter: "Not yet, Sara….I've got a very good idea…Just wait there…Don't move yet."
/Anne begins circling the large Sundial, realizing it forms some kind of puzzle of sorts. She brings out a gigantic Rocket launcher, preparing to pierce the beast straight through with 4 rapid fire bombs. Quietly, she shimmies to the outside edge of the second castle wall….peering directly across at the huge Spinosaur's head glaring through the window. It was staring straight at her. She waited until it was within striking distance, and brought out a 2 sighted sniper rifle to shoot it straight through the head.*
Anne Jones Carter: "Damm…It moved…4 shots left. Sara, wait here."
Septio Spinosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAWWOOARR! GROOOAWRR!" ((Just then, the massive Dinosaur's head began to disappear. It could no longer be seen, as the air grew frigid and cold. Anne stared back across the ruined Castle wall for any signs of the creature…yet she couldn't see it anywhere. She decided to make a run for it, and ran straight for the winding staircase to descend down to the Water Fountain. The huge Castle structure they had walked into after leaving the village felt well lived in, used and spoken for. It was clear the other Biosyn researchers had lived here, especially Bejamin Lockwood she thought. She paused for a moment under the cool Sun's eastern rays. There was only 2 shots left. Her eyes darted towards the Western wall, eyeing a massive Incan statue. She read the inscription to herself for a moment…to understand the mechanism. "Beneath the starry eye, you must keep your nose focused on the hidden keyhole above. Only one way through, which is up through the crevice…Look east to create the shadow's southern target." What was this? Had she and Sara fallen asleep? There was no other rooms to speak of, just an empty hall. Were they in a nightmare? ))
Anne Jones Carter: "Wait here, Dr. Harding….I think I've solved the puzzle." ((She stares right across at the north wall which is lit up with some kind of outdoors Moon glyph. Then she realizes breathing can be heard…..The Spinosaurus is still there…It's still following them, but where is it…))
Sara Harding: "Oh my god….Did you hear its nostrils...You told me not to breathe, I'm not moving." ((She shouts, as a large array of gas grenades suddenly tumble out towards the North terrace below the stairs.))
/Just then, the air around the fountain begins to glimmer. And the massive head of the Spinosaurus, currently invisible…suddenly reappears out of nowhere. It stands up on its 2 hind legs, and roars with reckless indifference. It stares straight at the 2 of them, this time sizing up Anne very closely.*
Septio Spinosaurus: "ROOOOOAARARRRR! GRAAAAAAAAAWWRRR!" ((One swipe of its long tail, destroys the North half of the fountain, causing it to fall over. It then rears its head back and in a quiet enormous arc, plunges it down into the array of chairs sitting on top of the Western Castle wall. Right as Anne sees this, she bolts it for the south entrance as fast as her legs will carry her. She sees only the shadow behind her, and smells the Spinosaurus' terrible breath beating down on her back. It was chasing Anne, as it literally shot its giant snout straight through the Western Bedroom at the end of the hall. It grabbed a hold of her right leg, and flung Carter straight across into the window. Upon impact it shattered, and Anne was left on the roof now tossing large bricks and rocks right off the castle into the Dinosaur's head. It locked onto Anne's right shoulder, and tossed her straight into Sara 4 clicks East of their current position. Part of her shoulder bone had nearly been dislocated in the struggle.))
Anne Jones Carter: "Don't just stand there, Sara…..Run…" ((She plainly states, as she rolls 10 meters down the stairs as fast as possible….with the towering Spinosaurus ripping the staircase apart. It was right behind her, and Anne knew there was only one chance now that the wall has collapsed.))
Sara Harding: "You don't have to say it twice…." ((Sara sprints as fast as possible to the attic area, more than 50 meters ahead in the Northern side of the Castle's main foyer. She hides in the open closet.))
/Finally, Anne cautiously limps to the Jeep at the rear entrance of the Garden's parking zone. She puts it into reverse, and begins to drive…..as fast as possible down the huge, long Castle hallway. As Anne looks behind her, she notices the Spinosaurus is in pursuit on the outside of the Castle windows….its huge jaws are smashing open and shut every few seconds. It bellows angrily, tearing the halls apart as it snaps its teeth at the Jeep narrowly missing Anne's head every time. She shoots off 5 direct shots into its lower legs, which causes it to stumble and roll into the Castle wall 10 meters to the right. The Spinosaurus loses its footing, right before its monstrous head plunges straight through the grating below. It lifts the entire Biosyn tagged Jeep straight up in the air, with its head being the gravity force….as it goes high off the ground, and bounces into the watery ravine 100 feet North of there. She yells in total terror, as the Jeep plunges straight through the water covered in cracks and debris in each direction….Then she crawls into the back and sees the Statue on the upper level. It has the shape of a Sun crescent on the outside. She rolls to the right, avoiding the large claw that nearly tore open her neck and fires off a round of concussion grenades into the beast. Then she tosses the other bomb on the Statue, knocking it back which opens a bright light to shine into the Castle. As the light tears through, it suddenly activates that Clock in the garden to trigger the trap….and dozens of blades fly out at high velocity from both sides of the hall. The massive reptile suddenly reappears. They smash straight through this 30 foot long hybrid Spinosaurus, ripping it apart and killing it instantly. The last roar it makes, echoing into the distant…eerie corridor of darkness. It was dead…Anne had done it.*
Anne Jones Carter: "Oh my god, my god…that was close."
Anne Jones Carter: "1 down….1 to go. Whatever dream Hammond cooked up for that one is finished. Sara, get out here…it is o.k. I killed the female Hybrid Spinosaurus…..or rather some kind of ancient Mayan trap did it, that the Incan Zumanis left behind. it dislocated my shoulder though, and blew up our only escape route out of here."
Sara Harding: "It is….it is dead?"
Anne Jones Carter: "((Anne nods)) One of them is dead….One to go, the male buck Spinosaurus…"
Sara Harding: "Oh good gawd, there's another one…"
Anne Jones Carter: "There always is, Dr. Harding. There was a family of 3 or 4 of these beasts on Muerta. (She exhales.) The other one has got to be North of here, more near the Volcano…"
Sara Harding: "And we have to….get rid of that one too…"
Anne Jones Carter: "Oh yes, of course…Otherwise we won't stop Biosyn Sara. Do it for Ian….do it for all of them including Kelly and Dr. Grant."
Sara Harding: "Well…We are 2 miles from the Quetzalcoatlus nest near the Volcano…What do we do in the meantime?"
Anne Jones Carter: "Pack light….we got to get the hell out of here." ((She motions for them both to go into Hallway 2 on the upper floor, and start searching the staircase for a secret Elevator which leads down to the basement. Down there is a mural of Uxmal Canyon, and more answers for the Volcano.))
/Meanwhile, exactly 30 miles from their present location. Inside a large, stationary outpost that doubles as a Research Camp Site. Lewis Dodgson is pacing back and forth, as he stares at a skeleton on the wall. The skeleton of a Carnotaurus hangs on the wall as he glances at his watch, while personnel for Biosyn are running about. Whatever had happened to Nima, she hadn't ever checked in for 4 days. The chamber where he was massaging his derelict temples on his forehead, was moist with heavy fumes. Engines were whirring outside, a set of Biosyn Jeeps roared into the main entrance.*
/Jenkins had returned with the crew, including Miles. He tossed a large metal harness over the Atrociraptor and hopped on top of it, using his red laser modifier. It hummed and made a loud noise, causing the giant reptile to recognize Jenkins as its captain and master. And in their hands were the data pads for 5 massive ruins due just west of there, where the CRAY XMP quantum computer was being dug up. There was a look of concern on Jenkins face, as around 9 out of 10 of the hunters who went with them out to the dig site never returned. He believed he had recovered clues to the whereabouts of the new Dinosaur, including the Quetzalcoatlus…but he shuddered to think what Eli Mills would say. After all Mills, who was brought back by Biosyn, now had bred 2 Indo-Raptors after what he learned in this Island's computer terminal. There was little time now, Jenkins mused. The Septio Spinosaurus would find them soon, and for now…he just needed to convince Dodgson not to take him off the team.*
Jenkins: "Yes Dodgson, I found Tramare's original cache of hidden DNA samples. Like Miles said each one belongs to a different species. All of them are of critical importance to make the miracle drug…"
Dodgson: "And? Soyona will be here soon with the Indo-Raptor. You did find the dig site, correct? Where is my prize….Meaning, where among these caverns can we dig out the CRAY and give me my reward.."
Jenkins: "Yes Dodgson, of course. It is next to the Volcano, right where the Radio said Steingarten had likely disappeared to. I can go retrieve if it you wish, and kill Dr. Grant along the way."
Eli Mills: "Ah, Jenkins…You say you found the ruins for the Dig site? Do the others know yet?"
Jenkins: "Of course I found it….Mills, just give me the Indo-Raptor. I can promise you we'll have the CRAY very quickly within our hands."
Dodgson: "That's nice, that is perfect….Mills, go with Jenkins to the dig site. I want to know that this time, the CRAY is truly mine….then I'll prepare a surprise for our guests. ((He glances straight at the Indo-Raptor.) I'm pretty much done with housewarming parties.."
Jenkins: "Of course…It will take time to load up the gear. I already have the time on the move."
Dodgson: "Good…I want the splicing machine ready and active. Get prepared…We depart soon."
/Meanwhile, at least 20 miles from this Research Site is both Billy and Dr. Grant. They are traveling through the large arid labs near a massive desert. The huge, abandoned lab is covered in vegetation and an outgrowth of sycamore trees. From one end of the science center to the other, you can see Dr. Wu tried to make radio communications easily accessed. Yet the more Billy fiddles with the control panel, the more he is astounded by just how much there is left to learn. It is clear they must send a signal.*
Billy Brennan: "Dr. Grant, we aren't going to make a difference standing here….Lets get moving up to the roof. If there are not more of those pterosaurs, maybe the answer as to what we do with this place lie there. Remember, Henry Wu built these labs as some kind of protection lounge….A last resort for when these Dinosaur hybrids run amuck or get past Biosyn's strong protocols. It says here, some of the shipping is over to Compound C…So somewhere from Sorna to here, to catch onto new species."
Alan: "Oh I see, Billy. That's good….It would be wise given these are Wu's main observatory labs, for us to explore the roof more. These ancient ruins and the carvings on the letters…it makes it seem like…we're a part of something bigger here….before Hammond's time…a mayan Splinter civilization or Incan tribe as Dr. Hammond would call it. (Inhales.) Whatever it is, was before our time and predates us by at least 20 centuries."
Billy: "What do you make of the symbol here…."
Alan: "Just that, whoever they were….They knew there would be Dinosaur Hybrid experiments that were created here, and realized how dangerous it was…given these reptiles can't be nuked or frozen….so they decided to leave behind a trail to follow."
Alan: "Now, stay silent a moment…Do you hear that?! There's Velociraptors….There is at least 3 Velociraptors inside the labyrinth up here. They are hunting in the dark….hunting us."
Zar Velociraptor: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAWR! YEAFFHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" ((It shouts angrily, as the pair of Zar Velociraptors begin to tear apart the floor, and rips a chunk out of Alan's neck. Suddenly it backs up and disappears into the air. The second Velociraptor now reappears behind Alan, and tosses its right foot into a large space between 2 of the terminals on the East wall. It slashes at Alan, shoving him over the table and into the white breakaway wall so he tumbles backward past the ceiling spotlight. Dr. Grant then gets out a one hundred thousand volt cattle prod and fries the Dinosaur, leaving 1 down and 2 to go. He exits the main room just as Billy is firing up the radio.))
Billy: "Geez….Duck!" ((Suddenly, the large fan in the ceiling begins to rotate extremely fast. Billy shoots off 2 napalm grenades into the crevice, which causes raptor 1 and raptor 2 to vanish…and reappear behind a main gate at the top of the observatory. They begin to stalk Dr. Grant and Billy from the other side, with each one cornering them in the eastern terrace. As they see a large aquatic looking model of a Plesiosaurus hanging from the huge dome in the center, they both glance around in nervous fashion. Billy decides to jump on top of it, to make his way to the scaffolding. Dr. Grant in the meantime, begin shimmying across just like he did on Isla Sorna at least 2 decades ago. They realize the troubled situation they are in, and so Billy tosses off his hunting pack containing the bola snare rounds and nitrogen.))
Alan: "What are you doing?"
Billy: "I said…duck!" ((Suddenly Billy launches a large section of poison tipped rockets at the 2 raptors…which sends them flying against the model of a Plesiosaurus, as one explodes. The other raptor leaps onto Billy's back, trying to topple him over the terrace. He fires off a bola snare which creates a massive electrical current, and this triggers the air around Dr. Grant to rise up in a storm. A shockwave suddenly fires off from the cattle prod, instantly frying the massive raptor in one blast. Right as it does so, the railing holding Billy up breaks off and his arm flies backward which breaks part of his wrist.))
Alan: "Billy, that was suicidal….Are you sure you can make this jump?"
Billy: "Sure as I'll ever be….Ow… ((He applies gauze all across his right wrist, to cut off the pain.)) Alan we got a big problem before we call the Helicopters…..See that ceiling fan? Keep watching it…"
((Suddenly, the gravity lining the walkway they are standing in disappears as the huge grating that closes over the large ceiling fan falls apart….The ceiling fan is sucking them upward….suctioning both Dr. Grant and Billy into its massive rotating blades. They can scarcely believe it, as they hurdle towards the enormous ceiling fan at the top of the observatory. The giant blade cuts just inches away from Dr. Grant as he flies straight up the silo in the middle. Just as Billy is about to fall in, he quickly grabs hold of a hanging rope 1 meter to the left, and grits his teeth as the massive Ceiling fan blade cuts into his left shoulder; giving him a red scar and injury that he won't forget. They quickly both climb away from the Ceiling fan, and toss a metal pylon rod into the gears…shutting it down right before it spits Dr. Grant's leg entirely off at the sternum. Billy stares downward into the massive auditorium./
Billy: "Well, that's one thing they won't ever tell us….We risked it all to shut this tower down, and I almost died just getting the Radio relay station to work! Dr. Grant, if you don't mind….I think we better get the hell away from this place."
Alan Grant: "I couldn't agree with you anymore than I do right now…..This Island…was a massive mistake, more than 68 million years in the making...Let's make sure to remind Biosyn of that first thing.."
Billy: "You got it, Dr. Grant….There's a supply cache about 2 miles from here. We should meet up with Dr. Harding and the others there, to rendezvous with Ian Malcolm if he's still alive…"
Billy: "…I just got the Radio to connect with somebody, so we can exit this death trap. That was a close call in every way we can imagine."
Billy's voice over the radio comms: "Yes, InGen Harvest master….Please get us out of here, no we're not on Isla Sorna….Right, we are on an Island that isn't even found on the maps…Isla Muerta, that's right there is no place for boats here even…We'll tell Nick Van Owen about the trip later, that's right…"
InGen Harvest Master: "Copy that…How did you get on Site C?! Did you meet the Costa Rican victims?"
Billy's voice over the radio comms: "I have no idea, no clue how people got here. We were kidnapped by Biosyn field operatives. Negative, we can't leave yet….We're here to shut down Lewis Dodgson and his colleagues, like Joe Rossiter…Who have turned this Island into the land of Frankenstein…"
Billy's voice over the radio comms: "No, bring the whole squad….This Island is far more dangerous than anything else. Nublar was a sunny vacation compared to this place. There are Dinosaurs here that don't even mesh with science, that can turn invisible….Or shoot straight through the ground, or from what we've seen….even fly underwater and shoot terrifying lasers out of their arms….Bizarre things, that no animal we ever heard of can do….We have to destroy the Lab and get rid of them…"
InGen Harvest Master: "Copy that….Did you find the Underground Lab?"
Billy's voice over the radio comms: "No, definitely no….this place is huge…I'd say by the time it's over we will shut down the underground caverns, if there are one….But that means we got to stop Dodgson…"
Billy's voice over the radio comms: "We're meeting up with Ian now….Send rescue crew to the summit. I don't see any other way off this Island, like I said…..there's no Boat Docks or anything.."
InGen Harvest Master: "Alright, roger that…We're sending four squads out. Wait near the Jeeps and experimental research station near the Mountain Peak. If you can get destroy the Lab, do it quick."
Alan: "Billy, do you have any idea what you're doing?"
Billy: "Alan, if I don't do what I just did…right now, pretty soon most of Costa Rica will have the same problems we do. And they'll get over run with hundreds of deaths…We need to shut these Islands down. Didn't they say Nublar was being nuked?"
Alan: "Even if it is nuked Billy, that won't stop the Chaos Theory. As Ian Malcolm has famously spoken, once the Chaos effect ripples outward there is no stopping its revolution in progress. The Dinosaurs if they die off on Nublar, will grow back elsewhere….Maybe even on Sorna, and after what occurred here. Well, don't ever forget what occurred here….this is the most dangerous Island we've ever seen.."
Billy: "You're right, of course….We need to shut these guys down…And do it fast before that Hybrid Spinosaurus returns, since I guarantee you they are thinking of placing mind-controls on them. They're going to truly mess our world up, with these Hybrid Dinosaurs….Is there even a safe way to raise them?"
Alan: "No, Billy….Unlike real Dinosaurs, Hybrid Dinosaurs have absolute zero right to exist. They're already real dangerous. Hybrids on the other hand, whether vegetarian or carnivorous…are always lethal to humans. We should have known better. Damm it Hammond, how naïve could you possibly get…:"
/Camera pans out to a large aerial shot view of the compound, as well as Isla Muerta at night. Because the Dinosaurs escaped to the equator, there were now thousands of problems along the mainland. They were about to get more than they bargained for…a whole lot more.*
