During a time at Totsuki, school for chefs. It is just a normal day in the summer and it's all peaceful and serene in the place. The students were going around in doing their daily things in the school as they would hang around with friends or study, whichever they wanted to do is up to them.
On another hand, someone else is having a very busy time during the peaceful day and that's Yukihira Soma who is found in the school's head office where he is found doing paperwork on the office desk.
"just why do we have papers about what type of Bread should be used to make Grilled sandwiches?" Soma said as he reads the papers before he looks at the stacks that are on the table. "I wouldn't be able to finish this all by the end of the day."
As Soma is looking like his mind is being drained by the paperwork, someone came in and that someone is none other than Nakiri Erina or Yukihira Nakiri Erina; the wife of the Indra. The former princess of Totsuki now had married her beloved man and now have a 1 year old daughter with him; Yukihira Aki who is carried in her arms and is sleeping.
"And just as expected, you're barely able to hang on." Erina said with a rather smug look on her face while walking to the office table and seeing her husband's state. "What was that you said? 'I can do all your paperwork which are so easy to do'? was that what you said the other night?"
"I said that but not so smugly." Soma said as he scratches his head. "still, can I even do this? I'm not like the Headmaster and all?"
"you're my husband and therefore my duties are also fall into your hands as well." Erina said in an obvious tone as she went to the window and watches the students going around before looking at her daughter who is stretching her little hands while seeming to be peaceful in her dreams. "it was just about time for you to do this stuff while I'm busy with Aki."
"Why did I sign up for this stuff?" Soma said while placing his head on the table, mentally tired because of all the papers that he had done.
"well, me and Aki are going out." Erina said as she walks straight for the door. "do your job well and make sure that you signed the ones that are important for today, Soma."
"h-hey! Wait! Can't you at least tell me which ones are the important ones!?" Soma cried out to his wife but she left the room just before he could get off the office chair. The man then looks defeated as he is stuck in the office to do the paperwork that he had stupidly agreed to do. "I'm not going to be able to sleep today at all."
Leaving her husband to do her paperwork, Erina focuses today's activities with her daughter as she made way straight for the school's garden area where many agricultural produce are raised and cared for.
Erina walks in the garden as she went to the flower area where many beautiful flowers used for decorations are raised.
"Aki, wakey-wakey" Erina gently wakes up her little girl from her nap as she crouches down a bit to give her daughter a better view of the flowers. "look, Mama brought you to the pretty flowers."
Aki yawns from waking up as she gently rubs her eyes with her hands before looking to her mother and then to her surrounding. The moment her eyes spotted the flowers; they were filled with curiosity and amazement to see the many colored flora.
"does Aki like them?" Erina asks with a loving and happy smile when she sees Aki looking all amazed and happy to see the flowers. "they're pretty, right?"
"Pwetty~! Pwetty~!" Aki babbles out in copying Erina's words, the little girl mispronouncing the word but her mother finds it adorable.
Walking around the garden area of the school, Erina showed her daughter all the beauties of the nature that are in the environment.
Some time later, Erina and Aki took a break by a shed as the mother had picked a few fruits and is now gently peeling their skin and cutting a small piece for her daughter.
"aaahh~" Erina held a piece of apple in front of her daughter who opened her mouth and bites the piece of fruit then begins to chew it. "yummy?"
Aki smiles and nods her head before she reaches a hand for the apple in her mother's hands.
"alright, alright. I'll cut you another piece." Erina giggles as she proceeds to cut another piece of the apple for Aki. "Here you go. Ahhh~"
"aaahh~!" Aki opens her mouth and then bites down on the piece of apple.
Erina smiles as she proceeds to continue cutting pieces of the fruits and feeds her daughter while occasionally taking a few pieces for herself.
Some minutes later, while Erina is still feeding pieces of fruits for Aki. Alice made an appearance as the White Vixen came by hollering to her cousin and niece while wearing a plain shirt and shorts along with a labcoat and heels.
"upsy daisy goes Aki-chan~!" Alice yelled out all playfully as she carried Aki up into the air, the little girl squealing in glee to her aunt. "and she goes downy daisy~!" she lowers her down and then begins to go around in a circle. "Then goes all flying~!"
"Alice, don't you dare drop Aki. Do you understand?" Erina said as she continues to cut a piece of an apple before eating it. "she just ate fruits and don't make her get motion sickness, understand?"
"don't worry~! Don't worry~!" Alice replied as she stops going in a circle and then carried Aki in her arms, the white haired aunt now nuzzling her nose with her niece and gets her to laugh and giggle. "with Auntie Alice, Aki-chan won't go sicky-sicky~!"
"if that's really the truth." Erina said before eating another slice of apple.
As the two cousins have a nice time with Aki, Ryo made an appearance as Alice's butler/husband is carrying a tray that had a jug filled with red juice and ice cubes along with several glass cups.
"Ojou, I've finished making them." Ryo said all bored and lazy as he went and placed the tray on the table nearby.
"ah! thank you, Ryo~!" Alice said as she went to the table while Ryo beings to pour the red juice into the glass cups. "make one for Aki-chan too, okay~?"
"Just what did you make?" Erina asks while cleaning herself up.
"Just a little experimental juice made of orange, pineapple, watermelon, and tomato." Alice said as she picks up one glass of the juice. "I also added a few drops of mint extract to add that little fresh kick for an aftertaste."
"just how much watermelon or tomato that you mixed in it to make it so red?" Erina said as she was served with one glass of the juice, the headmistress of Totsuki taking a few quick sniffs before taking a sip and then tasted the flavors that made her feel like going into a parade of fruits that blasted water juices upon her before it rains mint leaves. "The taste is quite nice and the mint offers some refreshing aftertaste, but it tastes a bit tangy because of the tomato."
"come on, Erina. No criticism from your famous God Tongue." Alice said all pouting before she smiles to Aki who is trying to grab her glass juice to which she presented to her. "I've been planning to make this juice for Aki-chan because of all the nutrients it has for her."
"since when were you that considerate?" Erina asks while raising an eyebrow. She then crosses her arms while looking a bit sceptic at her cousin. "this better not be another experiment where you make Aki your guinea pig again."
"oh come on, Erina. I already promised not to do it again, didn't i?" Alice asks while she is looking at Aki who is drinking the juice but with her help to hold the glass so that the juice doesn't spill on her niece. "and besides, look at how Aki-chan is just vigorously drinking it. she likes it."
Prior to some days ago, Alice had done a food experiment for some baby based food as she borrowed Aki from Erina and Soma. The white vixen made so many food for her niece and it ended with her getting scolded by the angry headmistress because she overfed her daughter.
"I still don't believe you." Erina said while still being sceptical to her cousin.
"see? this is why you're no more fun, Erina." Alice pouted to her before she looks at Aki who is finishing up the juice. "I sure hope you don't be such a stuck up like your Mama, Aki-chan~!"
Aki finishes the juices as she lets out a small burp and looks rather satisfied with the drink that made her babble around while reaching her little hands to Ryo who held the jug of juice.
"oh, looks like Aki-chan wants some more~!" Alice said all happy. "The experimental drink really works! She's addicted to it now!"
"I knew it!" Erina said all angry.
The time passes as Erina and Aki are currently at the Nakiri Mansion where the headmistress is found in the living room where she is just sitting on the couch and caring for her little girl.
"Aki, you can't be like your aunt or father when you grow up, alright?" Erina told her daughter who she sat on her lap and face her, the mother gently caressing her head and then combing her short golden hair. "you need to be like me. you need to be a strong, intelligent, caring,.."
As Erina is going on with what her daughter needs to be, Aki just babbles and adorably went closer to her mother to feel her warmth to which made the headmistress smile and sigh.
"What am I saying?" Erina said as she held Aki closer and then leans down to give a kiss on top of her head. "you can be whatever you want to be in the future." He gently lifts her up so that the two can make direct eye contact. "but for now, you're my precious and adorable little baby girl." She leans close and gently nuzzles their nose together which made the little girl giggle in delight. "who I love so dearly."
"Aki wuv Mwama too~!" Aki said as her mispronounced words just made Erina smile all happily and lovingly to which she gives the little girl a loving kiss on the forehead, nose, and both cheeks.
Erina held Aki close, the mother caressing her daughter's head down to her back. both feeling just happy to be together especially the headmistress.
Meanwhile with Soma, the Indra of Totsuki is currently still in the office and is looking incredibly tired.
"When will I get home?" Soma asks himself as he had a paper sticking on his face along with a pen.
