I kept an eye out as I walked through the woods, and I found an Akachan Kuma Baby Rattle that was big and just the right style to my Akachan Kuma Set. Better than nothing. I felt like a baby who just found their lost toy instead of a hero equipping cypress stick.
Just as I was getting used to my onesie suit and baby rattle like a baby enjoying their new toy to play with, a wolf emerged from the underbush.
"Grrrr..."
A wolf! This is not good! Wolves are one of the basic mobs from the starting area, but their exact levels are vary. I can't see its status. I don't know if I can win with just a baby rattle that I just found.
At least it was alone.
If I had my sword, this...would cut it in half!
"Yip!" The wolf whimpered and plop dead after I hit the wolf with the Akachan Kuma Baby Rattle in my hand.
"Is this baby rattle actually a legendary hero's cypress stick?...No way..."
I know three things now.
1: Defeated monsters don't turn into item.
Its dead...right? Maybe something weird is going on here.
2: At this rate, I'll starved to death. If I knew this would happen, I would have eaten before logging in.

3: After walking this far, I'm not tired at all. This onesie set might be better than I thought. It still looks stupid and embarrassing, though.

I heard someone's voice. I figure it could be dangerous to get involved , but it was my first time hearing another person here. Knowing the risks, I chased after the sound and came out into the a narrow clearing. A small girl was collapsed there, surrounded by three wolves. She look to afraid to stand. I snatched up three baseball-sized rocks that were lying on the ground as I ran, holding them firmly in the Black Akachan Kuma Glove mouth.
In order to get the wolves' attention, I toss the rock in the air and swung them hard as I could with my big baby rattle like a baseball bat-than the next, and the one after that.
"Huh?"
What? I hit them? Was that a one-hit kill?
It looked like the wolves were dead, so I approached the girl.
"You okay?"
"Ah!"
"Th-Thank you?"
"...You're welcome ... I guess?"
"...Are you gonna eat me?"
"I won't eat you!"
"Are you a bear?"
Right, I'm wearing this embarrassing stupid thing and pulled off my hood.
"Is this better?" I said.

"Emm, you still there?"
"...Oh! Um, are you a baby?"

This girl's NPC status screen doesn't open up either. So, it really is a bug? Or, could it really be that...
"Are you alone?"
"Oh, yes! My mom's sick, so I came looking for medical herbs."
"A little girl like you?"
"Yes, but we don't have the money to buy them in town. Then wolves attacked me."
"Town? There's a town nearby?"
"Yes! Onee-chan, did you come from another town?"
"Yeah. I got a little lost; could you lead me to the town?"
"Yes."
I moved to go, but she stayed in place.
"Onee-chan, what are you going to do with these wolves?"
"Yeah. It's not like I can carry them."
"Don't waste them! You could sell the pelts and meats! The mana gem, too, though they aren't worth much! We could take it all if we harvest them."
"I'm not doing that."
"I can do it, if you prefer."
"Eh? You can?"
She nodded at my words.
"Then have at it. How about we split the profit 50/50? That'd help me too."
"Are you sure Onee-chan?"
"Yup."
The girl pulled out a small knife and skillfully butchered the first wolf.
"You're pretty good."
"I do it for work sometimes."
"Is the town close?"
"Yup!"
This would be easier if I could open my storage."

I don't think this is the game world I know. I don't recognize the place names she's talking about. If I don't see any other players...I'll accept that this is another world. I should check my status. Huh, I leveled up. I gained some skills, too?

The White Akachan Kuma Glove's mouth opens into infinite space. It can hold(eat) anything.
Box freezes the item in time, and they can be retrieved at will.
Living things cannot be hold(eaten).
So, in gaming terms, it seems like I got an item box. It works the same way, too. So, am I in a video game or not? But this skill is from the Akachan Kuma Set...Not just from me.
