In a beautiful garden where beautiful trees danced with the wind, one Elysia Shariac hummed as she polished some dragon eggs while numerous tomes floated around her. Dressed in her classic priestess robes, the Dragon priestess blinked as she saw a rift open and a figure with shimmering wings of energy stepped out.
"Oh dear," The dragon priestess said with a smile. "Can I help you?"

Aika Kiryuu looked at her gauntlet in shock and awe as it transformed, covering her entire lower left arm. Feeling countless amounts of rage course through her body, the four-eyed Brunette used her magical knowledge to form countless lances of flames.
"Ddraig!"
"Albion!"
Issei Hyoudou gently wiped the stains on Ophis' mouth as she finished her 3rd plate of cheesecake. The young Dragonlord watched Kiana Kaslana eat her cake with a satisfied expression while Mei. He was looking at the cousin of one of his school's kendo club ace.
He can feel the increase in static electricity as he sits near the Raiden cousins. It reminded him of some energy elementals he fought during that time he went to retrieve some equipment from the chest of a knight in a mountaintop. Not only that she has an affinity for dragons.
"Ophis-chan, here you go," With those words, the perverted weaver noticed how Ophis eagerly held her hand out for another slice handed to her by Mei.
'Do Dragons naturally gravitate around kind-hearted people?'
Pleased with her new slice of sweets, the dragon of infinity munched on forkfuls of her dessert without a care in the world. It reminded Issei of the things he read about how some Dragonlords are attendants or babysitters of several dragons.
'Is my organization going to focus on babysitting Ophis?' Issei thought to himself.
"So, Hyoudou, why do you have the infinite dragon with you?" Ei Raiden asked her schoolmate, looking at the dragon with caution. She knew the legends and how the little girl in front of her, being fed by her cousin, was one of the, if not the strongest creatures in the world.
"Well, she appeared in our hideout one day and she hung around," Issei revealed, it was not a lie since it was true. "She claimed our hideout as her territory," It was mostly through Elysia. She was a godsend to anything related to Dragon knowledge and with Ophis being naive through many social cues, his priestess decided to take her in.
She was less bratty than his dragon.
Or that certain half-dragon that caused a war.
"So you work with the church too?"
"My cousin does, I work for the Shinto gods," Ei revealed, sipping her tea.
"The church and Shinto, huh?" The pervert whispered, looking at Ei. Ideas formed in his mind. Is the church allying with the Shinto? Or is it something else?
Taking a slice of his cake, the Dragonlord devoured the slice with ease. Ideas and thoughts formed in his mind. While he is not as smart as Elysia or Sona, he is experienced enough to think a lot of strategy on the fly.
"So, Issei," Kiana Kaslana asked with a grin. "My sister told me a lot about you. She said you were strong,"
"Bianka did?" Storing his thoughts away, the perverted Dragonlord focused on the white-haired young lady in front of him.
"Yep!" Finishing her slice, her blue eyes twinkled with mischief and at that moment, all of those on the table raised their guard, except for Ophis. They felt something sinister...
"Ah, Humans aware of the supernatural capable of noticing me," The voice was baritone and flat, no emotion could be heard but the pressure directed at the Dragonlord was severe. A drop of sweat fell from Issei's head as he turned around at the counter. His senses were barely picking up on the person and in that slight interval when Kiana told him about Bianka, he finally registered the presence... only after it willingly revealed itself.
It belonged to a man taking a sip from a glass. The faint smell of alcohol he noticed due to his connection with the elements through the elemental orbs allowed him to instantly identify the beverage being consumed by the man with silver hair. His attire is shown to be quite formal and extravagant, with a collar that spans to his upper chest, and badges decorated on the left and right side of his coat. Finally, he wears long white jeans and a pair of shoes filled with square patterns.
The Darkness orb, once held by Vayle the Necromantress, was one of the elemental orbs he interacted with. While Artix the paladin gained an innate understanding of any undead after touching it during his youth, allowing him to know how to destroy any undead with a single glance. For him, it allowed him to use darkness magic and to sense darkness-aligned creatures with ease. His experience with necromancy, both fighting against and using it, allowed him to understand the intimacy that the realm of magic shared with this person...
"Don't give us too much credit, you let us sense you," Issei whispered, taking a slice of cake and pouring a cup of tea into an empty cup, the young Dragonlord used all he knew about etiquette and looked at the person. "Would you like to join us, sir?"
"Interesting, very interesting," Turning to them, the young Dragonlord's eyes widened. The darkness that escaped this man was heavy. It might not be devouring everything but the pervert knew that having that much control of such a heavy amount of darkness... It reminded him of that time he saw Sera's soul.
This man... was as powerful as Serafall. His darkness was more powerful than the Doomknight he fought but less malicious. More of a lurking darkness, observing everything before each move. The Deathknight in him felt the presence of death around the man and he knew one wrong move and everything would be over for them.
Ophis looked at the man and she devoured the last piece of cake on her fork.
"Hades," Ophis greeted before turning to Issei and tugging on his jacket. "Can I get some more cake?"
"Sure, Ophis," Issei replied in instinct before looking at Hades. The name was familiar. "Do you want anything? It's my treat."
"Very well, I would like some-,"
"Hades, stop threatening them," A beautiful young woman said, pouting at the young man. She was beautiful but what caught his attention was her shadow. A figure covered head to toe with a hooded cloak. His eyes couldn't pierce their cloak but his sensitivity to darkness allowed him to make them out.
"Lady Persephone?" Ei whispered, shocked about her appearance.
"Persephone!" Kiana greeted, shocking Issei as she hugged the woman.
"Hades and Persephone? Wait... the rulers of the Greek underworld?" Issei asked. Hearing this, Mei nodded at him.
"Yes, Issei-san. Lady Persephone is Kiana-chan's godmother," Mei replied with a kind smile. "Lord Hades, Lady Persephone," Mei greeted with a smile and polite bow followed by her cousin who did the same thing.
Stunned by this, Issei looked at Hades and Persophone and his acquaintances. Looking at his companion, the Dragonlord looked at the Dragon of Infinity. Returning the look, Ouroboros dragon tilted her head after munching on her forkful of cake.
"So you're a dragonlord," Hades asked, looking at Issei as they sat with each other at a regular bench inside the mall. Hades effortlessly carried some bags.
"Yes, we're a new faction," Issei replied, keeping his cool.
"That's interesting and you already have the support of those bats,"
'Bats?' "Well, we're just a neutral faction dedicated to gathering knowledge about Dragons and promoting positive relationships with them,"
"I'm surprised those bats haven't recruited you nor were you recruited by those crows,"
"Crows? You mean those fallen angels?" Issei asked, now he remembered. There was a group that followed him around before he met Serafall but they mostly kept away. "They followed me around a bit,"
"A dragonlord is supposed to spread peace and friendship with dragons? With the Dragon of Infinity by your side, your faction has a solid backer," Hades explained. He is a bit proud of the Dragonlord, only a human, and yet... it reminded him of the ancient days when many of the heroes conquered numerous monsters using their skills. Especially the ones without any sacred gear. "I want to put a man inside,"
"A way to keep us in check," Issei looked at the ruler of the Underworld.
"In a way," Hades admitted. "But more or less to keep an eye on things, my wife likes your work,"
Saying goodbye to the group after a while of hanging out, Issei formed the magic circle connected to the realm they used as a hideout. Arriving at their hideout, Issei blinked as he saw a beautiful young woman with a Dragonbane Bracelet around her wrist while Elysia smiled at him.
Elysia looked a bit scuffed with her attire having some dirt...
"Vali?" Ophis looked at the young woman with short white hair sitting in Seiza in front of Elysia.
"Ophis?" Vali asked, looking at the Infinite Ouroboros. "You're here?!"
"This is my new home," Ophis calmly replied, making Elysia's heart skip a beat. "What happened to you?"
"She defeated me," Vali whispered, looking at the Dragon Priestess with a smile. "I found my rival here and she stopped us,"
"What rival?" The Dragonlord asked, looking at the patch of Dragon fruit sprouts they grew nearby.
"Albion, her dragon, has a rivalry with Ddraig, that perverted four eyes's dragon," Ophis replied without missing a beat.
[It seems like your trainer has quite the skill, partner,] A deep masculine voice that reminded Issei of flames echoed as a red gauntlet formed on Aika's hand as she sat in Seiza beside Vali.
[She disabled Vali with ease, Interesting] A masculine voice said and this time, Issei felt something similar to Poison as mecha-like energy wings formed on her back.
"Quiet, you two," the Dragon priestess calmly said as she looked at the sacred gear users. "Issei, you take care of these two troublemakers, please. I still have to finish my duties, BEHAVE," Elysia said, giving the holders of the sacred gears of the Heavenly dragons a pointed look.
"She's pretty pissed off," Issei noted before looking at Aika and this Vali. "So, what the hell happened with you two?"
Let's go! I'm back with another chapter! This time, we have Issei meeting with Hades, my favorite Greek Deity. He's pretty much the only decent guy in the big three. In this fic, Hades looks like Hades from RoR and he values the cycle of life and death highly, disliking Devils due to them being able to reincarnate people to half-devils. Since Persephone has no page in the DXD wiki, she has her backstory that I took inspiration from that one fic I read where the reason Hades hates Longius users is that she was killed by one.
The reason why Vali was defeated easily is that Elysia is an expert on all things dragon and she is a powerful mage in her own right. Not only that, she has a lot of precautions in their pocket dimension such as Dragonbane, a mineral unique to the world of Lore that is highly toxic to Dragons and could nullify their abilities. With Dragonbane nullifying Divine Dividing and Elysia's mastery of light magic [Her mentor was one of the most powerful magic-users in Lore]. The darkness Issei is referring to belongs to Sepulchure, the big bad of Dragonfable's book 1, and boy he is powerful. The half-dragon he is referring to is Nythera from the Artix Entertainment universe and her Dragonfable timeline version is pretty powerful.
Remember, I will try to use match-ups here, not just pure power. Elysia and Issei as a Dragon Priestess and Dragonlord, experts in Dragons, are more suited to handling Dragons than most. With Issei being trained as a Dragonslayer and outfitted with Dragon slaying magic combined with his skills, he is more effective with combating any kind of Dragon. He is more like Batman with prep time here but with magic.
Currently watching Arcane and damn, Caitlin is cute.
And yes, Vali here is a girl and she looks like Miyabi from Senran Kagura, I dunno why I made her a girl but why not?
Speaking of Which,
I will be writing another DXD fic but this time, it's a crossover with the Elder Scrolls.
It happens when some members of the DXD cast get transported to 4th Era Skyrim a few weeks before the events of Skyrim but Issei here has already been to Tamriel during the last years of the 3rd Era. Yes, Issei as the Hero of Kvatch, Divine Crusader, and Duke of either Mania or Dementia (Issei as Sheo will be way too busted.)
-He died due to Raynare, his first Isekai takes place during the time Raynare killed him, Rias did not save him in time, leading to Ddraig being recycled into the system.
-He is a prisoner and did all major factions, the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild first before the start of the Oblivion crisis, becoming the listener and the Gray Fox before the destruction of Kvatch. Ddraig being in his soul left some 'echoes' like a talent in Destruction magic (Ddraig has powerful flames), Alteration Magic (Ddraig can alter his attacks using Penetrate along with his Boosting capabilities), Restoration (same with boosts),
-He will be a mix between an Assassin, Crusader, and Spellsword.
