A New Age Begins:

King's Landing:

King Martin Baratheon stood near the King's Gate of King's Landing while his Blades kept the crowds away. Tyrion stood with him along with his squire, Podrick Payne and Lord Bronn Blackwater who had chosen to remain in King's Landing. Delphine was also waiting with them. Today was the day that the Dornish arrived at King's Landing.

"How many Dornishmen does it take to fuck a goat?" Bronn joked

Tyrion glared at him "Please don't!" he hissed

Martin glared at him as well "I don't want you to say anything that could anger the Dornish lords."

Bronn shook his head "It seems to me that the best place to meet someone is in a tavern, that way if one party is late, the other can drink some ale inside"

Martin shook his head "This isn't one of your old sellsword friends. This is Prince Oberyn of Dorne and he is easily angered. Plus he's bringing his Sand Snakes with him and my sister will be coming as well even though it will be temporary."

Tyrion looked at him "How do you know that it is Prince Oberyn?" he asked

"Well apart from the fact that Prince Doran sent a raven telling me that, I know for a fact that Prince Doran can't come here since he's in a wheelchair because of his gout. Myrcella will be coming here so we can all be together before Tommen goes to Casterly Rock." Martin stated

"So why are we all out here to meet him?" Bronn asked

Tyrion looked at him "You chose to be here. You wanted to meet some Dornishmen before you go to Rosby to take up your new home."

"Besides, there's bad blood between the Martells of Dorne and the Lannisters of the Westerlands after what happened to Elia Martell, she was Doran and Oberyn sister and was murdered during the Sack of King's Landing at the end of my father's rebellion." Martin added

"So what happens if these Martells decide that they want to spill some Lannister blood?" Bronn questioned

"That's why we have the Blades here" Martin stated "The Dornish are not foolish so they won't try anything that could get them killed."

"Beside I am also an accomplished diplomat" Tyrion added and then they soon saw the banners of the Dornish party approaching "Are here we are." He then looked at Bronn "Can you read the symbols?"

Bronn looked at the symbols and couldn't really understand what they were "Yellow balls?" he questioned

"Wild lemons on a purple field" Podrick stated "That's House Dalt of Lemonwood. Next up is a vulture grasping a baby in its talons, House Blackmont of Blackmont. A Crowned Skull which shows House Manwoody of Kingsgrave."

"I see you know your Dornish Houses" Martin stated "I also see a golden hand on a Black and red field which stands for House Allyrion of Godsgrace, a red dragon on a yellow field, House Gargalen of Sea Salt and an Iron Gate for House Yronwood."

"I need a sigil" Bronn muttered

Tyrion looked at Bronn "You can just create one, you're a lord now" then he looked at Martin "But can you see House Martell's Banner of a Red sun on orange being pierced by a Golden Spear?"

Martin looked and soon he saw the Sigil near the rear "There it is" he said "Now we should go greet them."

Martin went forward and soon the riders with the Martell Sigil came forward and Martin smiled when he was able to see Myrcella in front. Myrcella came forward and got off her horse. She quickly embraced Martin with a Hug.

"Brother" she smiled "I'm so glad to see you again"

Martin hugged her back "I'm glad to see you as well."

They broke apart when they heard a small chuckle and they turned to see Myrcella's betrothed Trystane Martell smiling "Well my love, aren't you going to introduce me?"

Myrcella laughed "Brother this is my intended, Trystane Martell, love this is my brother, Martin Baratheon or rather King Martin Baratheon"

Martin snorted "You don't need to call me that, we are family after all."

"It's custom to call the King by his title" Trystane stated and then another horse came up with an older man who got off and Trystane looked at him "This is my Uncle Oberyn who has agreed to be part of your council."

Oberyn Martel got off his horse and walked up to Martin "It's good to finally meet you." He greeted "I hope that we can work together."

Martin sighed "Prince Oberyn, I know what it is that you are after and I agreed to grant it to you." He stated "But the problem is that Gregor has not been seen for months by anyone. I have everyone keeping an eye for him but no one had seen him, not even his body." Oberyn wanted Gregor Clegane to pay for his crimes after what he did to Oberyn's sister but ever since the failed attack on the town at Cloud Ruler, Gregor had not been seen or even heard from.

Oberyn nodded "I have waited years and I can wait but the moment he is found, I want him."

Martin nodded "We will do all that we can to find him" he stated "And now that you're here, we can finally start on rebuilding the Seven Kingdoms.

That had been nearly a year ago and since then; King's Landing had been rebuilt. Myrcella and Trystane had returned home after a few weeks to return to Dorne. Lord Tywin had also left with Tommen to help trained him to become the new Lord of the Westerlands. Alessia and Willas had also left and were now married in Highgarden. The only Baratheon now in King's Landing was King Martin himself and under his rule, King's Landing had changed for the better.

Using the money from his Silver Mines, he rebuilt the parts of the city which had been destroyed in the attack and even rebuilt Flee Bottom so now people had a better place to live. He had also built a few memorials in the city so people could remember the Battle. There were two in the city in places where lots of people visit. One was located at the entrance to the city at the Lion Gate, this had been the area most hit during the Dark Anchor attack so a statue of a Legion soldier had been built so people could remember the attack on the city. The other statue was in the rebuilt area of Flee bottom. The statue was made to look like Commander Itius Hayn, the leader of the Resistance who died in the Battle of Anvil. The statue had all the names of the Resistance soldiers who died in the War.

Speaking of Anvil, the old port town had been rebuilt but it would not be used as a settlement. The castle would now be the base for the Legion that was based in the Crownlands. The city would not have the army itself but one Legion would be based nearby ready to defend the city if the army was needed. After the fall of King's Landing, many of the old city Watch members had been arrested due to the crimes they committed during Joffrey's rule. Some had been pardoned since they had only done it due to them fearing their lives. Others who had done it willingly were either exiled to the Wall or had been executed. A new City Watch had been formed and were led by Carmalo Truiand and Gepard Montrose, two of the only remaining leaders of the Old City Watch who had been members of the Resistance.

King Martin had brought back his reforms that he had done before Joffrey had become King so once again, there were small schools to educate the common people so that they could help build a life for themselves, he had also helped started cleaning up the streets which had been neglected for so long and he had passed laws on Religion. Since the faith on the Nine Divines was rising, he had forbade anyone to pay religious taxes if they weren't worshippers of the Seven and he had tried to keep the peace between the two powerful religious groups. This had become a problem since there was a group of Fanatics called the Sparrows who had started causing problems for Martin.

The Sparrows were very religious people who worshipped the Seven. Many of their followers were victims of the Civil War and had lost their homes and family members. Normally Martin wouldn't have minded them because unlike the High Septon, these Sparrows cared for the people and had been feeding bread and soup to the people who needed it. However, recently they had become more fanatical and had begun attacking anything that went against their beliefs including Homosexuals, drunkards and prostitutes. One even went so far as to try and ransack the Temple of the Nine Divines but had been stopped since Captain Camalo had been in the temple at the time. That attack got Martin's attention and he had been forced to pay a visit to the Sparrow Leader known as the High Sparrow and order him to keep control of his followers otherwise he would be forced to take further action. The Sparrow who had attacked the Temple had been executed as a warning but now more Sparrows were beginning to attack followers of the Divines so Martin was concerned about these fanatics.

Right now, Martin was in the Red Keep as he entered the Small Council Chamber. Unlike his father, Martin took an active role in ruling the Kingdom and it was time for a meeting to discuss the realm.

The Small council chamber had the other members of the Small Council. Varys kept his remaining seat as he kept his role as Master of Whisperers. Martin's uncle Tyrion Lannister sat in a seat as the new Master of Coin having replaced Willas Tyrell who was needed to rule the Reach. Oberyn Martell sat next to him as the new Master of Laws along with Aurane Waters, the Master of Ships. One the other side of the table were the new positions. Thonar Silver Blood sat at the table as the new Master of Trade who would be handling the trade across the Seven Kingdoms and next to him sat Randyll Tarly, the Master of War. Grandmaster Delphine sat next to him. The final man sat at the table was the new Grandmaester of the Small council. After Pycelle had been dismissed, the Citadel had chosen a new Grandmaester and they had chosen Archmaester Ebrose as Pycelle's replacement. Ebrose had been an Archmaester so he was a well-respected and high ranking member of the Maesters. Ebrose was a very skilled healer and his chain was made of silver which was the link for Healing. Ebrose was old but he was kind and soft spoken and had fully supported Martin's idea of training young healers. Ebrose also had become interested in Restoration magic that the healers of the Nine Divines were capable of and he had met Collette and other Healers to talk about their magic.

Martin entered the room and sat at the end of the table and he looked at his Council "So how is the realm doing now?" he asked "What reports do we have?"

"The money is flowing well" Tyrion stated "Our coffers are brimming with gold which has allowed us to fund our projects and the Legions."

Randyll carried on "General Tullius has reported that the Ninth Legion has finished training and has now been assigned to the Reach. He has now begun recruitment for the Tenth Legion. He has also reported that recruitment is high as many people have become supportive of the Legions and believe that the job is well paid and good to protect the realm."

"Speaking of the Realm, has there been any report of the Mythic Dawn and the Worm Cult?" Martin asked

Ebrose shook his head "We haven't received any news on these cults although the Night's Watch has reported that several of their Rangers have not returned from patrol and have reported that there have been more encounters with these Wights recently."

"Have the White Walkers come close to the Wall yet?" Martin asked

"The reports say no" Ebrose stated "They think that the White Walkers are currently building up their forces but I don't see how they will get past the wall."

"Well it's better to be prepared than let them catch us off guard" Martin stated "Any reports on what's going on in the city."

Oberyn answered that with a sigh "We've had a few problems." He stated "These Sparrows have begun attacking again. We've had a report that they attacked several merchants selling Amulets of the Nine Divines. The City Guard have arrested a few but there are worries that this could go further."

Martin groaned in annoyance "This is the third time this month!" he snapped "I thought I told the High Sparrow to keep control over his followers. Order him to meet me later as now I'm giving him a firm warning that if this carries on then there will be trouble."

"I will" Delphine stated "The Blades will make sure that he doesn't cause any more trouble."

"I just hope that his beliefs don't start a riot" Martin stated "I don't want to have to execute him as it will make him a Martyr but if he causes any more trouble, then there will be consequences."

Castle Black: The Wall:

Over the past year, the Night's Watch had begun expanding in order to prepare for when the White Walkers came. Some hadn't believed them at first but they changed their opinion after seeing the wight. However that Wight had begun to crumble and now only the head remained which Maester Aemon had preserved in a jar so that they could show it. For years the Night's Watch had begun declining in manpower and resources but recently, they had begun getting more soldiers. The Wildlings had managed to help boast the numbers and the prisoners sent had also increased the numbers. There still weren't many volunteers but a few such as Beric Dondarrion's small group had helped and now were in charge of Sentinel's Stand with some Night's Watch members.

Lord Commander Mormont had begun sending people over to some of the remaining castles along the Wall. Greyguard had mostly collapsed so Stonedoor had been given to the Wildlings who were led by a man known as Soren Shieldbreaker. An experienced Ranger known as Bedwyck had been given command over Icemark so that they could help patrols. The castle of Queensgate had been given to the Wildling leader Morna White Mask to settle her people while Jon's friend Tormund had been given Oakenshield. Ygritte along with other Spearwives had gone to Long Barrow which she now led along with a young Ranger called Iron Emmet who had begun a relationship with a spearwife called Black Maris. The castle of Torches had been regarrisoned by Night's Watch members but had no commander as the same was with the castle of Deep Lake and Rimegate. Greenguard had also been garrisoned with Free Folk led by Devyn Sealskinner. King Kurog and his Orcs had been given the largest castle of the Nightfort since his group was the largest. The Orcs were also forging new weapons and helping rebuild the castles since they were expert smiths and stonemasons. The final group was Aranea Ienith and her Dark Elf followers who had taken refuge in Deep Lake

Only the Free Folk who fought were at the castles along the wall. Many of the woman and children had settled in the Lands of the Gift, there had been a bit of trouble with the locals since there was a history of raiding by the Free Folk but eventually this had stopped. The Giants had also set up their own camps with the Mammoths that they brought. Some Wildlings who worked with the Giants were also around to help the Giants sell their food. Other than meat, the Mammoths also produced milk which was then made into cheese and this cheese had soon found its way towards the markets of White Harbour and soon to the south. This meant that there was a demand for Mammoth cheese and it allowed money to be made for the Night's Watch.

In Castle Black, Lord Commander Mormont had called a meeting. While he was happy that the Night's Watch was beginning to recover he still had one thing that worried him about fighting the White Walkers. He sat in the Great Hall of Castle Black alongside Grandmaster Isran of the Dawnguard, Jon Snow, Maester Aemon, Mance Rayder and the Thenn leader known as Styr along with Aranea.

"I've call this meeting to discuss my concerns about our preparations against the upcoming threat" Jeor stated

"What concerns do you have?" Mance asked

Jeor sighed "While it's good that we've got a supply of Dragonglass from Dragonstone, that's not going to be fully effective. Ser Alliser and Donal Noye have reported that we can only create Spearheads, arrowheads, daggers and small axes. They're not going to be much use when fighting a whole arm. There is not enough Valyrian Steel to use so we need to think of something else."

It was then that Styr thought of something "I think I may have something that could be of use." He stated "Many years ago, one of my clan captured this man from across the sea. On him we found a strange weapon that was made from ice. But this weapon was stronger than most metals I have seen even from other captured weapons."

"Do you still have this weapon?" Mance asked

Styr quickly reached into his small cloth bag and pulled out the weapon. The weapon was a sword but the blade was not made from metal but from some kind of bluish ice. Jeor picked up the blade and saw that the blade felt like steel. "I don't know much else but I thought that maybe it could be useful for us." Styr stated "I didn't say anything before because I wasn't so sure if it would be."

Isran looked at the Blade "I think I have an idea on what this weapon is." He stated "I thought it was just a myth but it seems like it's not."

"What is this myth" Aemon asked

"Years ago I read a book which described a material known as Stalhrim. This rock material was like enchanted ice and was used in ancient Burials. But it could also be used to craft powerful weapons."

"Does your Smith Gunmar know how to craft these types of weapons?" Jeor asked

Isran shook his head "This type of crafting has been lost for centuries to most smiths." He stated "But there is one group that might know more. In the middle of the Shivering Sea there is a small island called Solstheim. This island was part of the Septim Empire due to a rich Ebony mine but on the Northern part of the island there is a group of people known as the Skaal. It is said that these people know how to craft weapons from enchanted ice although they are reluctant to share their secrets."

Aranea looked at them "I know of this Island" she stated "This island is mostly controlled by House Redoran, one of the Great Houses of Morrowind. It was where my followers lived before we left."

"Did you ever think of returning home?" Jon asked

Aranea snorted "No, my people would not be welcome, we had an argument about the Gods of Morrowind so we left."

"What can you tell us about this House Redoran?" Aemon asked

"House Redoran is one of the Great Houses of Morrowind and the most powerful." Aranea claimed "Each of the Great Houses controls a region of the land and they all had their own laws. Slavery was used by the Dark Elves but not by every House, House Redoran made it illegal but other Houses such as Telvanni and Dres use it a lot. House Indoril had mostly been destroyed and House Hlaalu lost its seat and was replaced by House Sadras."

"So should we go and see these Skaal people?" Jon questioned

"We're going to need every advantage we can get" Jeor stated "So yes, we should send a few people to see if they can get the secrets of these Skaal people."

"Who should we send?" Isran asked "Jon Snow should go since he's led missions like this before."

"This should be a joint effort between us all" Mance claimed "I'll send Ygritte and Tormund with you, they'll be useful in the cold climate."

"A joint effort should involve the Night's Watch as well" Jeor claimed "Since Grenn is a good friend of yours, I'll send him along with you."

"And Jenassa will go as well." Aranea stated "As a Dark Elf, she'll be able to help you understand the town of Raven Rock."

"But there is one problem" Jon stated "How do we get to this Solstheim. If the island is in the middle of the Shivering Sea then we might never know how to get there."

Arenea looked at him "There is a ship in White Harbour known as Northern Maiden which makes trips to the island. If you get there fast enough then you may be able to get passage before it leaves on it's next trip."

"It would be quicker for you to travel to Eastwatch and then catch a ship to White Harbour" Jeor claimed

"Alright" Jon stated "I'll do it, I'll go gather the others and we'll head over to White Harbour."

"Good luck Jon Snow" Isran stated "And take Serena with you, I think she would want to come with you on this."

Casterly Rock: The Westerlands:

The great Fortress of Casterly Rock was an impressive sight in the Westerlands. From the outside, it looked like a small keep on top of a large cliff but there was much more to the castle than that. The Castle was home to rich Gold mines which went under the castle. When the gold in these caves had dried up, the tunnels became new rooms and made a series of secret tunnels that would lead to a small harbour at the base of the castle which was hidden from view. The castle was difficult to capture due to the many tunnels and the caste had never been captured during a siege before. Lann the Clever is believed to have tricked House Casterly out of the castle and claimed it and even during the Andal invasion, the castle never got captured as House Lannister invited the Andals as wards.

Not far from Casterly Rock was the city of Lannisport, the 3rd largest city in Westeros and the place where the exports of the Westerlands are shipped out of. Because of the great wealth of Casterly Rock, it's made the Lannisters the richest family in Westeros.

After the Civil War, Tywin Lannister had returned to Casterly Rock with young Tommen as his ward. With Jaime now training as a Blade and Tyrion not suitable, Tywin wanted to train Tommen to be his heir. Tommen was young but he could still be trained to become a good lord. Since Tommen's arrival, he had made friends with distant members of his family such as Kevan's younger sons Wilhelm and Martyn Lannister who were just a few years older than Tommen. Tommen also enjoyed spending time with Kevan's infant daughter Janei who had only been born just as the Civil War began. But when it came to the children of Tywin's sister Genna, Tommen was not as comfortable around them as he was with Kevan's. Cleos and Lyonel seemed to be more like Frey's than Lannisters and Tommen didn't like them that much but he had a better friendship with young Tion Frey.

But one major change had been House Lannister's candidate Branch of House Lannister of Lannisport. After Reginald Lannister's betrayal, House Lannister of Lannisport had lost their position and many members had fled. Tywin had gifted Lannisport to Devan Lannister, the son of Stafford who had died in the War. With the war now over, Lannisport was able to trade again with the rest of the Seven Kingdoms which allowed trade to increase and life to return to normal.

In the past year, Tommen had changed from being the sky timid boy to becoming a more aware boy who wanted to learn more and help his brother Martin in ruling. Tommen would one day become Lord of Casterly Rock, which was a big responsibility since the Westerlands was the richest Kingdom, and had a lot of responsibilities. While Tommen had been learning about how to rule from Tywin, Kevan and Genna, Tommen had also been learning more about sword fighting. Joffrey knew nothing about swords which was why he used a crossbow and before, Tommen was no good with a sword but after being trained by Casterly Rock's Master of Arms, Ser Benedict Broom, Tommen had gotten better. He still wasn't an expert but he was better than before and with some more training Tommen would eventually be a great war leader. Tommen had also been learning the History of the Westerlands from Maester Creylen.

Right now, Tommen was in Tywin's office as Tywin had wanted to see how his studies had been going. He was questioning on the more powerful houses in the Westerlands "And which are the most Powerful Houses in the Westerlands other than the Lannisters? What are their sigils and what is their castle?"

Tommen started answering the question "House Lefford of the Golden Tooth controls the border near the Riverlands. Their sigil is a golden hill with a sun on a Blue Background. House Marbrand of Ashemark is one of the more powerful Houses in the Northern Westerlands and their sigil is a burning tree on a grey background. And finally, House Crakehall of Crakehall is the most powerful House in the Southern Westerlands and protects the Border with the Reach. Their Sigil is a black and white Boar on the Brown field."

Tywin smiled at Tommen's answer "Good answer, they're not the only Houses but they are the ones you must keep loyal. Being a ruler is not that easy when you have many Bannermen who could be plotting against you. You have to make sure that they do not defy you. That is why sometimes you must be harsh and send a message."

"Is that why you destroyed two powerful Houses in your younger years?" Tommen asked

"House Reyne was once a very powerful House but overtime, they became so powerful that they thought they were above even House Lannister and my father allowed that to happen." Tywin stated "Tytos Lannister had never been trained properly to become Lord so he had no idea on what he was doing which allowed House Reyne to grow stronger. Tytos may have ruled but slowly over time, House Reyne began taking more and more power even though they weren't at Casterly Rock. I knew that something had to be done which was why I had to make sure that this never happens again. I destroyed two Houses and ensured House Lannister remained the rulers of the Westerlands. But the lords fear me, not House Lannister which is why you'll have a major job after I pass. I will not live forever but I can ensure that you do not make the same mistake as my father. Jaime is away training to be a Blade and Tyrion would never rule. Which is why I must make sure that you are not a soft boy because if you were, the others Houses could try and use you. I will not allow House Lannister to fall, we have stood strong ever since we took over Casterly Rock."

Tommen nodded "I don't know how good of a lord I will be" he stated "But I will do my best to be the best Lord I can."

"Good" Tywin stated "Now you should get back to your training. You can play with Ser Pounce later." Tommen nodded and he left the room leaving Tywin alone thinking about what could happen in the future.

Cloud Ruler Temple:

The Blades home fortress of Cloud Ruler Temple was more active than ever before. Ever since the Civil War ended, there had been massive recruitment for the new Legions being built for the royal army. Many of these recruits had been refugees from the war who had no home to go to and others had wanted to join since they respected Martin and wanted to help him however they could. But even though the fortress was the training grounds for the Legions, it was still the headquarters of the order of the Blades and there were some areas that were off limits to the Legions. But some of the best legion members who would become commanders were given access to the Blades library where they could read although they were still forbidden in the Blades armoury.

The Blades armoury was where the Blades armour was kept and where the smith Fultheim would forge new Blades armour along with training his new apprentice Gendry who had recently forged his first piece of Blades armour. Fultheim picked up the Blades helmet that Gendry had made and examined it.

"It's not perfect but it's better than what the others had done" he stated to Gendry "And not bad for a first attempt."

Gendry put down his hammer "I forged a bull's head helmet and that was the best piece I ever forged" he said "This type of forging is very different to what I've done in the past."

"This type of forging is different to other types just like how our fighting style is different" Fultheim stated "These swords and armour are like pieces of art that protect us. All of our swords are different, not a single Blades sword is the same."

"But I've seen the Blades swords and they look the same" Gendry stated

Fultheim smirked "From a distance they do." He said as he picked up two Blades swords and placed them on a table "But when you look closer, you can see the differences."

Gendry looked closer and saw that the blades of the swords had patterns engraved on them as there were serpent designs on the hilts which were different.

"Each sword is specially made for each Blade member" Fultheim stated "Losing their sword is seen as a dishonour which is why they must be made perfectly so they don't break and even then, they must be repaired. And when a Blade member dies, their sword is not passed down to someone else. That blade is buried with them when they die, they only expectance to that was the Blade of the Grandmaster which was special made. Grandmaster Delphine has two swords, one was hers when she was younger and the other is the sword passed down to her from the previous Grandmasters."

"But that would mean that there are thousands of these swords!" Gendry gasped

Fultheim smiled "There are" he stated "They're all buried here in a special tomb. This was our headquarters during the Septim Empire and after we were forced to abandon the place to become a sellsword company, we kept the swords of our fallen brothers and buried them here when we returned. Some see our swords as weapons close than Valyrian steel which is why some want these swords for themselves but for the Blades, it is an insult to see one of our blades being wielded by a common soldier. If there was a desperate situation then the tomb would be opened and the swords would be given out but that has never happened before. Anyway, that's enough about the Blades, I'll start showing you some more forging tricks now." He and Gendry went back to the forge so Fultheim could show him some more forging tricks for Blades weapons and armour.

...

In another part of Cloud Ruler Temple, Captain Steffan watched as some of the Blades sparred with each other. While Grandmaster Delphine had a number of Blades in King's Landing, some of them remained at Cloud Ruler as the fortress still had the large vault and library. Steffan had also began to train newest recruits in Blades combat, the newest two Blade members were former Kingsguard who were now members of the Blades. Ser Jaime Lannister and Ser Barristan Selmy were skilled swordsmen but were not that great in the Blades style of fighting. Over time they had improved and now the two of them were sparring against two Blades known as Ferrum and Caroline. Barristan and Jaime were skilled but they were still unable to beat the Blades in combat.

Steffan laughed as Jaime and Barristan lost their fights "Well the two of you have improved from when you first started." He stated

Jaime sighed "I never expected to lose a fight like this. I've been wielding a sword for many years."

"We all have" Steffan stated "But Ferrum and Caroline have been training in the Blades style of fighting since they first started using a sword while you and Barristan have used the Westerosi style. It's difficult to adapt. But I think the two of you are ready for your first mission. Think of it as your initiation into the Blades."

Barristan looked at Steffan "I am ready to serve" he stated "What is this mission"

Steffan looked at him "This mission will be dangerous as you will be going to a place where no one had visited for centuries. I will be sending senior Blade Fortis with you because of how important this mission is. Grandmaster Delphine ordered this. You will be going into the ruins of Sancre Tor to retrieve some ancient Relics of the Blades."

"I remember reading about Sancre Tor is one of the books in the library" Barristan stated "But what else can you tell me about it?"

Steffan sighed "Unfortunately, not much, Loremaster Esbern could have told you more but he's not here. But basically, Sancre Tor was the ancient capital of the Alessian Empire after Saint Alessia defeated the Aylied Empire thousands of years ago even before the rise of the Septim Empire. It later formed the part of the Reman Empire which was a small Empire founded by Reman Cyrodiil which had parts of what is now the Westerlands, Riverlands and the Vale. But that Empire collapsed after Reman Cyrodiil III died with no heirs and soon the event known as the Planemeld started and Sancre Tor was destroyed. During Tiber Septim's rise to power, he would win a major victory here and recover the Amulet of Kings. After he died, Tiber was buried in Sancre Tor but the tomb was cursed afterwards. For Ancient Blades, it was a sight of pilgrimage until the Fist Grandmaster sealed the tomb and no one has entered since."

Jaime looked at Steffan "Normally I would have laughed at this but after seeing what happened at King's Landing, I wouldn't anymore."

The Blade known as Ferrum looked at Jaime "Trust me, Sancre Tor is no laughing matter. It is said that the best of the Ancient Blades went there and never returned."

"You mission is to recover Tiber Septim's armour." Steffan stated "It is buried in the inner Sanctum but you will need this key to enter." He gave them a key "That armour played a role in the defeat of the Mythic Dawn before and it may be needed again. The Armour is of top priority but if you can, try and recover the other lost Blade Relics from the ruin. The top Blades of Tiber's time, Alain, Rielus, Valdemar and Casnar went to the ruin and never returned. If you find their relics then it would be important to us."

"If we find these relics then we'll bring them back" Barristan stated "But the Armour of Tiber Septim comes first."

Steffan nodded and then he pulled out two Blade Katanas "Fultheim just finished forging these swords for the two of you. Remember, a sword is a Blade's life, if you lose it then you're not worthy of being a Blade and make sure you keep it up to shape. No sword is invincible."

Jaime nodded and then he and Barristan went back inside to prepare for their mission.

...

Near Cloud Ruler Temple was the mining town that was owned by Martin and where his wealth came from the silver mines located there. During the Civil War, this had been one of the locations where refugees had fled to since it was close to Cloud Ruler Temple. The town had become known as Martintown after the town's founder and the town had grown in size to become a wealth trading location due to its centre location in Westeros. The town had once just had a few houses for the miners but now the market had grown and silversmiths had moved in due to the silver wealth and now had several Inns throughout the town, the largest of which was the Silver Blood Inn which was owned by the town's rulers, the Silver Blood family. Many of the residents of the town were also worshippers of the Nine Divines rather than the Seven so the town had a temple of the Nine Divines as well as a smaller Sept for worshippers of the Seven but just like King's Landing, there had been several fanatics who resented the Nine Divines but unlike King's Landing, these fanatics had been dealt with quickly since there were only a few of them and they had been expelled from the town with their leader executed after attempting to rally the town to rebel which failed since many were loyal to the Divines. The leaders had been handed over to the Town Guard after the attempt failed.

One family who had made their new home in this town was Mychel Redfort had his wife Mya Stone. Mychel had rejected his family name now and just went by the name Mychel. The two had settled in the town where both had joined up with the town guard since they were both skilled warriors although Mya would spend most of her time at home.

After a long day of work, Mychel returned home to see his wife cooking "I'm back dear" Mychel greeted

Mya turned around and smiled before walking up and kissing Mychel on his lips "Hello my love" she greeted back "Back from some adventure I bet."

Mychel laughed "Not a very eventful day" he replied "But that's what it's like in peacetime. There's not much action and we don't get many raiders since we have Cloud Ruler nearby. Most outlaws are too afraid to attack this place even with the wealth from the Silver Mines."

Mya laughed "Well that makes it better for us and our family" she said as she rubbed her belly. A few months ago, Mya had become pregnant with Mychel's child and Mychel had been thrilled. Now they would be able to raise their family without anyone threatening them. After the Civil War, Baelish and Lysa had been taken to King's Landing and tried for their crimes. Lysa had gone completely insane and had been heard screaming in the Black cells and had ignored all food that she had been given. In the end, she had starved herself to death and her body had been sent back to Riverrun where it was buried in the Tully tradition of being burnt in a boat which was more than what she deserved. Sadly her father, Hoster Tully had died as well and the new lord of Riverrun Edmure had requested his sister's body to be buried as well and Martin had agreed. Baelish on the other had had been tried for his crimes against the realm and after his trial, he had been executed by beheading and his body left to rot with his head on a spike.

Mychel smiled "And if we're lucky, our children will grow up happy and not be forced into the politics of noble marriages. Sure I had everything I could have asked for as a noble's son but I would never been allowed the girl of my dreams. I would trade this for anything."

Mya smiled "And I wouldn't either" she replied and the two smiled at each other some more.

New Ghis:

The city of New Ghis was located on an island near Slaver's Bay. This city had been built after the Doom of Valyria and was named for the Old city of Ghis, the capital of the Ghiscari Empire which had been destroyed by the Valyrians and the city burnt to the ground and the ground covered in salt and sulphur to prevent anything from growing again. The city of New Ghis was small but because it was the only port of miles and an island city, it got a lot of trade from passing ships. The city had been one of those cities built on slavery but not as powerful as the Slaver Cities of Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen. New Ghis even trained a powerful army known as the Iron Legions were heavily trained in the old fighting style of the Ghiscari Legions just like the Unsullied, but unlike the Unsullied, these men were free men and not Slaves.

However, despite being free men, many soldiers in the Iron Legions had been treated harshly and even the Commander Jaqio had grown tired of being pushed around by the leaders of the city. Eventually, Commander Jaqio had met Admiral Travis Thresh who was hiding on the island of Ghaen just north of New Ghis. Travis and Jaqio conspired together and managed to stage a mutiny and coup in New Ghis and take control of the city. The Masters had been thrown out and sent away on small ships while Travis had established control over the city. New Ghis' location had made Travis able to see what entered Slavers Bay and cause more attacks on Slave Ships to liberate them. Travis had even established secret bases on the island of Cedars to spy on the Slaver Cities; this allowed Travis to get early warnings from when the Slaver Cities attempted to retake New Ghis which had happened three times ever since the city fell.

The City had once been ruled by rich nobles who had become very rich from selling Slaves or selling the use of the Iron Legions to the Free Cities against raiders such as the Dothraki. Now many of the Slavers had been exiled from the city and all of the Slaves had been freed. But in order to keep the city together and avoid riots, a young lord called Mario Ostos had been made the ruler. Mario was the younger son of a noble family, not the richest but still a noble but Mario had been one of those against Slavery and had not been exiled from the city like many other nobles. Mario was kind but also willing to take action and it is believed that he is responsible for his older brother's death although this is unknown as Mario's brother Gyllo had died in a shipwreck during a storm. Mario and his father did not get along and Mario had jumped at the chance to get rid of him and Mario had been given control over his family and been made ruler of New Ghis. His noble blood made people happy as they weren't being ruled by a foreigner and he also stopped Slavery and improved the welfare of the city's people.

Commander Jaqio had been training the new army of Ghis in order to make them ready for combat if there was a large scale invasion. Many recruits were former Slaves and people who did not want to return to the old ways of life in New Ghis and had joined so that they could protect what they had been given. Admiral Travis meanwhile patrolled the Waters and set up outposts in order to make sure that he could protect the city from Slavers. He also made raids against Slaver ships and Slave outposts where Slaves were sometimes stored. Sometimes he even sent people inland to raid the mines where Slaves were forced to do backbreaking work. These attacks came suddenly and there was often no time for the Slavers to prepare. This resulted in the Slaver Cities placing a bounty on Travis' Head but no one was able to get close to him. The Slavers had sent their spies known as the Sons of the Harpy to cause Chaos in New Ghis but they never got into the city as security had been tightened around the city and every Son of the Harpy had been captured and executed.

In the palace of New Ghis, Travis along with Mario and Jaqio were discussing their plans "The support I have gathered from Westeros has been done in secret since they cannot be seen involved otherwise it would interrupt with their trade with the Free Cities." Travis told the other two.

"That is a problem" Mario stated "Many of the Free Cities except for Braavos are involved with the Slave Trade. Volantis in particular is involved quite a lot."

"Hopefully with the new ships, we should be able to launch more raids on the Slavers" Jaqio stated. Jaqio had been fighting for most of his life and so he had quite a number of scars on his body and his hair was cut short so it wouldn't interfere with fighting.

Travis noticed that Jaqio looked troubled "Are you alright Commander?" Travis asked "You looked troubled."

Jaqio sighed "Don't get me wrong here" he stated "I believe in our cause, I'm tired of people being exploited for profit, for years I served loyally and I've committed deeds that I'm not proud of. At the time I believed it was for the greater good of the city but it was just for the greed of the Masters here. We've done a lot since you came and helped us but still, we're getting nowhere. No matter what we do, the selling of Slaves won't stop, the destruction of Vaes Dothrak had prevented a lot of raiding but I still feel like we're never going to end Slavery unless we capture the three main Slaver Cities."

Mario sighed "Even with the support we have, we're still too small to take the cities. Yunkai may fall quickly since they train Bed Slaves but Astapor had the Unsullied which can defeat us if we attack. The only reason they haven't attacked us with the Unsullied is because it would become a standstill with the Iron Legions."

Travis looked at him "The three Great Slaver Cities are not the only cities in Slaver's Bay." He stated "We may not be able to capture them but we could put pressure on them by capturing some of the other smaller cities in Slavers Bay."

"Tolos could be a major threat to us" Mario stated "I've been to that city and they produce slingers that throw lead balls that do huge damage to human flesh. These could be useful to us. So maybe we should make a move against that city and also against the nearby city of Elyria, both cities could give us a closer staging ground to the Slaver Cities and a foothold on the mainland."

"That's an idea but we need to plan carefully." Travis stated "I'll start coming up with plans but I need to know more about the defences of these cities so I need a few scouts to check the city out and send reports."

"I'll look through my soldiers to find the right people for the job" Jaqio stated

"Good" Travis stated "Now we would start planning our moves soon."

King's Landing:

The population of King's Landing had gathered in a large square in front of the Red Keep. After the Battle of King's Landing, parts of the city had been damaged and Martin had decided to have this part of the city built into a place where the people of the city could gather when he was about to make or a speech or sometimes order an execution. A large wooden platform had been built and King Martin stood on top of it alongside his Blades and the King's Justice Ahtar. Several people dressed in brown robes were being dragged by chains on their hands onto the platform by the Captain of the City Watch Camarlo. Also with them was a thin, hard eyed, grey haired man with a heavy lined face and was dressed in a simple white tunic that went down to his knees. These people were the Sparrows, the people that had recently been causing trouble in the city. The White robed man was the High Sparrow himself, this was the man who many saw as the leader of the Sparrow group.

Martin had the two people in brown robes dragged before him "Before you stand two people who are part of an order known as the Sparrows. These religious people have been known to be giving food and caring for the poor of the city which may seem good. But there is something else they have been doing, when I first came to the throne, I stated that I would not tolerate anyone trying to force their religious beliefs onto other people and that this land will be one where people are free to practice their religious beliefs without persecution. These Sparrows believe that they can attack other religions and that will not be tolerated in this kingdom." Martin then looked at the two men "What do you two have to say?"

One of the Sparrows spat at Martin which shocked many people in the crowd "You are a sinner!" he spat "You shall burn in the Seven Hells for your heresy, there is only one religion here and it is the faith of the Seven, all others are false Gods and they must be struck down!"

That did not gain the man any favours and the crowd were all shouting insults at him until Martin called for silence "I know what people like you are" Martin hissed "You seek death so you can become Martyrs for your cause. Well I'm going to deny you that, for the attack on the marketplace, you and your friend will lose your hands and so you can't spread your beliefs, you shall lose your tongue." He nodded to Ahtar who pulled his axe out and the Guards placed the hands of the Sparrows on a wooden block. With one swing, Ahtar severed the hands of one man before he did the same to the other. Then Ahtar got a red hot poker from a brazier and shoved it down the one Sparrow's mouth. He gave a blood gurgled cry before falling silent spitting out blood. The Ahtar did the same to the other Sparrow. When the deed was done, Martin looked at the crowd again "When I came to the Throne, I stated that Westeros will be a land where people are free to practice their religious beliefs in peace, but when those beliefs result in trying to force others to believe in them, they will not be tolerated. I don't want to have to keep doing this but actions have consequences, so from now on, if anyone attacks people because they have different beliefs then they will be punished by losing their hand." He then glared at the High Sparrow "And you, I've given you several warnings to keep your followers under control, this attack is the third one this month and I'm tired of them now. If you can't keep your followers under control then I will strike hard on them and I'll have the lot of you exiled from the city." He looked at the guards "Get him out of my sight!" he ordered. Carmelo's guards dragged the High Sparrow away and then the crowd began to get on with their normal day. But unknown to everyone, someone in the Red Keep was watching from their window with a plan forming in their head.

Winterfell: The North:

Lord Robb Stark watched as the Master of Arms Rodrik Cassel was helping a now recovered Bran as well as Rickon learn more about sword fighting. Both were getting better but they were still a long way off becoming skilled swordsmen. Bran also seemed more interested in learning more about the Faith of the Nine Divines and also about the Septim Empire. This annoyed Catelyn as she was a devout worshipper of the Faith of the Seven but her children rejected that religion. In the North, most of the lords except for House Manderly rejected the Faith of the Seven and stuck with their Old Gods and the Faith of the Divines.

The northern lords had returned North and were preparing for the upcoming winter. Winter in the North was always terrible and even in summer, life was hard and difficult. The terrain was very difficult to grow food and the lack of proper roads meant that trade between settlements was tough. Waging war in the North during winter was foolish as more soldiers were likely to die of the cold or starvation because they run out of supplies. With summer over, it meant that winter would be here soon and a long summer would mean a long winter. There would be heavy snow for a number of years and even in summer, there was often summer snow. But while the War was over, the lords were not relaxing due to the news they got from the wall. House Umber had been furious that the Night's Watch had allowed the Wildlings to come south but there had been a big reason.

Robb didn't believe the news at first but after he'd seen the Wight himself, he changed his opinion. Robb had ordered that anything the lords could spare was to help the Night's Watch and this had been what Beric had warned him about before they returned north.

As for Robb's sisters, they had returned north as well. Sansa was of age to be married and Catelyn was busy trying to find a match for her although Robb had noticed that she was looking at Domeric Bolton quite a bit. Arya was still being herself and she was constantly refusing to marry or act like a lady and was defying Catelyn at any moment she could. Robb saw that she was on the verge of running away but Robb had managed to convince her to stay.

"Worried husband?" a voice called and Robb turned to see his wife, lady Jeyne Stark, formally Westerling. After returning North, Jeyne and Robb had married and many lords preferred this match to a Frey since many of them disliked House Frey but in order to make Lord Frey happy, Robb had agreed to betroth his oldest son to a member of House Frey but it was likely that Lord Walder Frey would be dead before that happen due to his age.

"I'm fine Jeyne" Robb stated "I just can't stop thinking."

"About the news from the Wall?" Jeyne asked "I never would have believed the stories if I hadn't seen the evidence myself." Many other lords had been in the same position but now they believed the stories and had begun sending more resources to the Wall to help.

But that was not why Robb was worried "It's something else" he stated "Before I returned home from the south, I was told something, a secret that my father kept from all of us and I didn't tell anyone because I was unsure of what to say."

"And would you tell me what this secret is?" Jeyne asked "I would like to know the truth, as would our child."

Robb was silent for a minute but then realised what Jeyne had said "Child?" he questioned and looked as Jeyne as she smiled and placed a hand on her belly. Robb widened his eyes when he realised what she was saying "Are you certain?"

"I had Maester Luwin check me after I had been sick a few times." Jeyne stated "He confirmed it." He looked at Robb "Are you mad at me?"

Robb looked at her like she was crazy "Mad?" he questioned "You are my wife and you're carrying the future of the North in you. I will tell you the truth about what I was told but I'm telling everyone. Tell my mother, sisters and brothers that I would like to meet them in the Godswood."

Unknown Location:

Viserys Targaryen sat in the hall of the Mythic Dawn headquarters along with Mankar Cameron and his daughter Runa. Runa had been training a lot in her magic as she was determined to avenge the death of her brother Raven who had been killed in Rivenspire.

Viserys was starting to get impatient "Mankar, I need to know when are we going to start our move to take the throne. I've been waiting for a long time and I'm starting to lose my patience!" he hissed

Runa glared at him but Mankar silenced him "Martin's hold on the throne is too strong, if we make a move then he will crush us. But my spies in King's Landing had shown that there is a rise of a group of fanatics in the city. We decided to aid these against Martin and when they've outgrown their usefulness, we'll get rid of them. I also have a group of assassin's ready to make a move if it is needed."

Mankar smirked "Runa, I want you to go to King's Landing and pretend to be one of these fanatics and help them increase their power. I want you to use them to weaken Martin's hold on the capital city."

"As you command father" Runa nodded "But should I take my assassin's with me as well?"

Mankar shook his head "No" he stated "I have another plan for them. We'll use them to weaken the hold over other parts of the Seven Kingdoms. Our spies Jearl and Hans are currently in King's Landing, gather information from them Runa. I will handle the situation in the North."

"As you command father" Runa stated and then she waved her hand and left leaving Mankar and Viserys alone. Mankar looked at Viserys, he couldn't risk sending him on an important mission because he would likely disobey orders and mess up and he could afford to let all of his plans which had been making for years fall apart because of one idiot.

Stromhaven: Firebrand Keep:

Daenerys Targaryen sat on top of one of the towers at Firebrand Keep. After being on the run from Robert's Assassins for a long time, she was happy that she finally had a chance to settle down and have a proper home for the first time since Vaes Dothrak. She had settled into her new home and had been living her life in peace. This was an easy life she had no one that she had to look after since she wasn't actually a lady in this region with any power. She liked it that way but she was still worried about the Mythic Dawn. These cultists had destroyed her life among the Dothraki and then attacked her again in Rivenspire and tried to capture her dragons. She had managed to get them back but she was worried that the Mythic Dawn could try again to capture them. One of her own people that she had trusted, Doreah had turned out to be involved with the Mythic Dawn and had kidnapped her dragons. Doreah had been taken to Wayrest and interrogated about what she knew about the Mythic Dawn but she hadn't told them anything useful, Doreah had been hanged. When Daenerys had heard the news, he didn't care much since Doreah had betrayed her and so Daenerys felt that Doreah had got what she deserved.

"Khaleesi?" Jorah Mormont greeted as he entered the room "I apologize for interrupting you but we're just had a rider from Wayrest with a message."

Daenerys looked at him "What did this message say?" she asked

Jorah sighed "High King Emeric is asking to see you at Wayrest along with your dragons so it might have something to do with them."

Daenerys was now worried for her children now. In Rivenspire, her dragons were the size of kittens. They had grown overtime but now they were they were bigger the size of a foul and growing bigger. That had become a concern as while Daenerys had taught them how to breathe fire and cook their own food, they had begun leaving Firebrand Keep in search of food. Drogon had grown larger than Rhageal and Aego and was also the most aggressive and there had been reports of Drogon being seen flying around the countryside. Farengar had knowledge on dragons and was trying to come up with a way to try and calm him down.

It was then that Farengar entered and saw Daenerys was worried "What's wrong?" he asked "You seem scared?"

"I am" Daenerys answered "High King Emeric had requested me to come to Wayrest with my dragons. I'm scared for the future of my children."

Jorah looked at Farengar "Do you have any idea on why Drogon has been so aggressive."

Farengar scratched his head "I have one idea about it but if I'm right, then I don't have a solution. These dragons are like many other predators, they fight for territory and supplies. But males also fight for one other thing."

Daenerys looked at him "And what's that?" she asked

"Mates" Farengar answered which made Daenerys and Jorah look at him "The males of many large predators such as lions will fight each other for the right to mate with females. Only the strongest can mate and Drogon is the largest so he feels like he has the right to mate with female dragons. The problem is that we have none so he goes out looking for one and he gets angry because he can't find one."

"And since we have no female dragons, we can solve the issue" Daenerys sighed

Farengar sighed as well "I'll speak with Emeric when we meet him and give him my theory. Maybe he has an idea on what we can do about this."

Daenerys nodded but was still worried but she wouldn't defy the king who had been nice to her so she began to get ready for her trip to Wayrest.

Winterfell: The North:

Robb had called a meeting of his family in Winterfell Godswood. Robb and Jeyne were there along with all of his brothers and sisters and his mother. Master of Arms Rodrik Cassel and Maester Luwin were also there as Robb felt that they had to know what he had to say.

"What have to asked to see us all son?" Catelyn Stark asked

"I've asked you all to come here because there are two things I want to tell you. Maester Luwin already knows one of them." Luwin looked at Robb but then he realised what he meant "My wife has told me that she is with child, the future heir to Winterfell is within her."

Jeyne laughed "It might still be a girl" she stated

Robb smiled "That wouldn't matter to me" he stated "If it is a girl then she'll be a beauty just like her mother."

Luwin looked at Robb "What is the other thing you want to tell us?" he asked

Robb gave a deep breath "There is something that I was told at the end of the war but I haven't told anyone because I had no idea on how I would say it."

"What were you told?" Arya asked

Robb sighed "I was told the truth on what happened years ago when King Robert became King. You've all heard about how the rebellion started?"

Bran replied to that one "Rhaegar Targaryen abducted Aunt Lyanna which led uncle Brandon to ride to King's Landing where he was arrested. Then Aerys II killed him and our grandfather and called for Robert and our father's heads which led to the rebellion."

Robb nodded but he looked at his family "That's right but it's not entirely true." He admitted

Sansa was confused "What do you mean?" she asked

Robb sighed "The abduction part is not entirely true. Rhaegar never abducted Lyanna, she loved him and he loved her."

Arya caught on there "Wait, are you saying that they eloped. That Lyanna went with Rhaegar willingly?"

Robb nodded "That is what happened but as to why Lyanna never told Uncle Brandon, I have no idea. But there's more to this."

"What else is there other than Robert's Rebellion is built on a lie?" Catelyn asked

"If that union resulted in a child." Robb answered "A child that has been hidden with us for years."

They all looked confused until Catelyn realised who he meant "Wait, you mean Jon, all this time the boy I thought was my husband's bastard was actually my nephew."

Robb nodded "That's right, Jon's real name is Jaehaerys Targaryens as Lyanna and Rhaegar were married in secret."

Everyone was in shock but Arya was shocked the most. Of all the members of the Stark family, Arya was the closest to Jon and eventually, she spoke up "It doesn't matter about the truth" she stated "Jon is still our brother and he will always be Jon to us. He's still our brother, no matter what."

Catelyn wanted to say something but stayed silent when she saw Robb looking at her and she saw that there was something else as well "Is there something else you want to tell us?" she asked

Robb nodded "Jon was not the only child that Lyanna and Rhaegar had together." He stated "Jon has an older sister called Visenya."

"A sister?" Sansa gasped "Why did father never tell any of us. I understand trying to keep it a secret to protect Jon from the Lannisters and Robert since they would have killed him if they knew the truth. But why did he not tell us?"

"Father always felt like the fewer people knew the truth, the safer Jon and this Visenya are" Robb replied

Bran looked at Jon "Do you know where this Visenya is?" he asked

Robb shook his head "Martin stated that he would try and find her location if he could and then try and arrange a meeting between us but so far, he hasn't been able to."

Everyone was left in complete shock at the truth about Jon. Arya was intrigued to hear that Jon had a sister and she wanted to meet her. Maybe she wasn't a lady and was a warrior woman and if she was, then she wanted to learn from her. Sansa was in shock along with Bran while Rickon was too young to understand what was going on.

Red Keep: King's Landing:

Martin sat in his chambers with his uncle Tyrion and Grandmaster Delphine with him "Do you think I'm being a bit too harsh with these fanatics?" Martin asked them.

Delphine shook his head "Fanatics like these Sparrows are dangerous" she stated "They cannot be reasoned with and believe in their cause, they will die for it if they have too."

"I agree with Delphine" Tyrion stated "You may have control for now but soon you may have no choice but to crack down hard on them. These attacks may increase and soon enough, you may have no choice but to eliminate them root and stem."

Martin sighed "That goes against everything I believe in. I am a man of the people and I can't just go around killing people because of their beliefs."

"Their beliefs are dangerous" Tyrion stated "They believe in a world that is not possible, a world where only the Faith of the Seven exists in Westeros which will never happen. They will start a bloody campaign to achieve that. You may have to act like my father at some point and eliminate them when they become a huge threat."

Martin sighed and looked at Delphine "Grandmaster, I want you to keep an eye on these Sparrows, if they start doing anything then you inform me and if it becomes necessary, prepare the army to kill them all."

"It will be done" Delphine replied

Then there was a knock on the door and Blade Knight Fortis who was on guard duty called in the door "It Master of Whisperers Varys your Grace" he called "He says he has some urgent news for you all."

"Very well" Martin replied "Let him in"

The Master of Whisperers entered the room and Martin could tell by the look on his face that he had something important to tell him "Your Grace" he greeted "I apologize for the interruption but I bring grave news."

"What news is it that you bring?" Martin demanded "I already have a lot on my mind due to these Sparrows as well as the Mythic Dawn and Worm Cults"

Varys sighed "I have important information that my little birds from Essos have sung." He stated "I have found the location of this Visenya Targaryen that you requested that I find."

That caught Martin's interest "And where is she?" he asked "And is she a threat to us here which I hope that she is not?"

Varys was quiet until he answered "She has been found in Volantis, but she is not the only one there. You see I have a big secret that most people don't know. Visenya is not the only Targaryen there."

Martin looked at Varys "What do you mean?" he demanded "My agent Farengar has reported that Daenerys is located in a region far from Essos so who are these Targaryens that are located with Visenya?"

Varys looked worried as to how Martin would react but then he answered the question "I have not told anyone about this but the children of Elia Martell and Rhaegar Targaryen still live"

That made everyone gasp "But I thought they had been killed by Gregor Clegane and Amory Lorch years ago." Tyrion stated

"Those children were not the Targaryen children" Varys stated "When the Rebellion started, Elia approached me and begged me to get her children to safety so I smuggled the two children out and brought in decoys after the Battle of the Bells."

Martin was shocked but now angry that Varys had kept this information to himself "And you kept this information to yourself?" he hissed "When were you planning on telling us, those children may grow up plotting to take over Westeros."

Varys had expected that but he answered "There was an accident during their trip." He replied "Their ship was caught in a storm and they were never heard from again. I assumed that both had died in the accident. But while searching for this Visenya, my little birds found her in the company of the Targaryen children and raised someone else who was thought dead. Rhaegar's friend Jon Connington."

Jon Connington had been one of Rhaegar's friends in court. He had been Rhaegar's squire and a supporter of him during Rhaegar's feud with his father. Connington had been a vassal of Robert Baratheon but chose to support the Targaryens and had been made Hand of the King. But after his defeat in the Battle of the Bells, Connington had been stripped of his titles and exiled from Westeros and House Connington lost 9/10s of their land and became a house of landed Knights. Jon Connington had been said to drunk himself to death in Essos.

"How is any of this possible?" Delphine demanded.

Varys answered "Connington smuggled himself onto the ship and brought the children off when the storm hit. Then he took them to Essos where he changed their names and appearances to keep of assassins which worked. He also met with other Targaryen loyalists who brought him Visenya. Now all of them work of the Golden Company."

Tyrion, Martin and Delphine all stared at each other in shock. They had learnt a big secret and now there could be another major threat to Martin's rule.

Volantis: Essos:

The city of Volantis in Essos was the oldest and largest of the Free Cities of Essos. The city had been founded by the Valyrians and had been a military outpost to protect the Valyrian Freehold until it became a trade hub with the Rhoynar cities and over time the city grew from the old military fortress. But when the Valyrians became more aggressive, it led to the Rhoynar wars that saw the Rhoynar civilization destroyed and the people forced to flee under the leadership of Nymeria. During the century of Blood, Volantis tried to bring all the lands of the Freehold together and managed to extend their power as far as Myr and Lys but while trying to conquer Tyrosh, Pentos and the Storm King got involved along with the even the young Aegon, who would later conquer Westeros, got involved. Myr and Lys rebelled and Qohor and Norvos attacked which eventually resulted in a coup in Volantis and the new government favoured peace.

Today, Volantis is the most populated of the Free Cities, however most of the population are slaves. Because the city is very close to Slaver's Bay, the city was heavily involved in the Slave trade and Volantis had a tradition where slaves had tattoos to show what they did. Parts of the city also were home to cutthroats and slavers who would kidnap people to sell so Volantis was also a very dangerous city to live in.

Just outside the city was a large camp. There were many tents set up with soldiers using them. The soldiers were well armoured and well trained and they carried a banner which had golden skulls on. This was the camp of the Golden Company, one of the largest and best sellsword companies in Essos and one of the most expensive. The Golden Company had been founded by Aegor Rivers, better known as Bittersteel after the First Blackfyre Rebellion. Aegor had founded the company to build an army to invade Westeros and also to prevent other Westeros Exiles from joining other companies. The Golden Company had been involved in the Third, Fourth and Fifth Blackfyre Rebellions but also took contracts in Essos. They had become infamous after sacking Qohor when they refused to honour their contract and now they were heavily involved in fighting in the disputed Lands.

In the middle of the Camp was a large tent that had golden skulls on spikes outside, these skulls belonged to previous commanders of the company as this was a tradition for the Golden Company. Inside the tent were several people staring at a map.

The first man was a portly man with a big round head, mild grey eyes and thinning grey hair. This was Commander Harry Strickland, the leader of the Golden Company but a man who was not well liked by the others and was called a coward. Then there was a black skinned Summer Islander who was wearing a feathered cloak and a large gold wooded bow. This was Black Balaq, the leader of the Archers. Then there was a Lyseni man with pale lilac eyes and silver gold hair and wearing a red cloak, this was Lysono Maar, the Company Spymaster.

The final people in the room were a strong looking man with hair that was dyed blue along with a young boy of about ten and seven with white hair. This man was known as Griff and the young boy was his bastard son Young Griff.

"Well another contract has been complete" Strickland stated

"Yeah and we might finally have a contract that doesn't involve us serving a lord's desire." Balaq stated

"I'll be on the lookout for one" Maar added

"Well we should prepare to leave the city" Strickland added "We don't want to attract the wrong attention here. Besides I'm not losing more men to the cutthroats here."

Griff spoke up "I'll take my son to see the others"

"You do that" Maar stated

Griff took his son outside where he looked at him "It won't be long now" he said to him "Soon we will control this company and we will be free to return home Aegon."

Young Griff who was actually Aegon Targaryen, the son of Rhaegar looked at Griff who was actually Jon Connington sand then sighed "In all honestly, I'm not too sure we can succeed." He stated "The Golden Company has tried before and failed, plus, the new King is popular has had the support of the other lords. And there're these rumours of Dragons."

Connington snorted "Those are just stories" he stated "Dragons are gone from this world."

Aegon sighed "I think I'm going to see my sisters" he said and then he left to another tent where just outside, three woman were outside. Two were fighting while one was sitting down with a harp. The woman playing the harp looked Dornish with olive skin and black hair and was older than Aegon. This was his older sister Rhaenys Targaryen and if you looked at the siblings, they looked nothing alike. The only feature they shared where the amethyst eyes and Rhaenys was a girl who liked to read and play music but she still knew how to defend herself.

The other women were busy training with swords. One of them was a woman in her thirties with black hair and she looked pretty which led some men staring at her but this woman was not interested and there had been a few times where hands had been stabbed for laying a hand on her. The final woman was the youngest of them all and she looked more like a sister to Aegon as like Aegon, she had long silver white hair that was tied in a pony tail.

Aegon smiled at them "Hey Visenya" he greeted

The white haired girl stared back at Aegon "Hello brother." She greeted back.

Chapter end:

Notes: It's been many months since I've updated this and I know I said that I would rewrite season 1 but I got really busy with my other projects as well as my University Work. I wrote this chapter because I felt like I've been neglecting this story so I wrote the chapter. This chapter was not easy since the story has been going my own way now and now I have no template to write on Game of Thrones so I had to start getting new ideas. The final part in this chapter was meant to be in the previous chapter but I decided to add it to this one and there was a part that I was going to write about Martin and Qyburn but I'm saving that for the next chapter. I've also brought in some new characters and I wonder if anyone is able to guess who the Black haired woman at the end is, she is not a created character like some others are. Hopefully the next chapter will not take as long to update as this one did and since I'm not back to University until September, I have much more time to write but I'm also working on my other Fanfictions plus my novels which I also feel like I've been neglecting.
