Faith Militant:

Pyke: Iron Islands:

The sudden death of King Balon Greyjoy had taken the Iron Islands by surprise. The morning after a fierce storm when Balon didn't return, Victorian had sent men looking for him and soon they found his body washed up on the shore, they had been worried about happening as he had not been seen in any of the towers. The main lords of the Iron Islands had sailed to Pyke for Balon's funeral.

Victorian watched alongside his brother Aeron as Balon's body was prepared. He was placed on a small raft made from driftwood while his body was covered in seaweed. His driftwood crown was broken apart and chucked onto the raft with him.

Aeron Greyjoy was the youngest brother of Balon. During his youth, he had been a man who drank a lot and would sing and dance and even claimed that no one could piss for longer than him or piss further. He had been a fighter during the Greyjoy rebellion but during the Battle of Fair Island, he nearly drowned when his ship, the Golden Storm was rammed by Stannis Baratheon's ship, the Fury. Aeron had been captured after he survived and found by local fishermen and held by House Lannister. After his release, he nearly died again in a storm but was washed ashore but afterwards, he dedicated himself to the Drowned God and became a priest. Now Aeron Greyjoy was a tall, thin man with black eyes and hair and a bear that went down his back as he never cut his hair so it had seaweed in it. He wore a thin wool robe dyned green, grey and blue to show his devotion to the Drowned God, he also had a waterskin on his belt that was full of seawater to bless his followers who called him Damphair.

"Drowned God!" Aeron spoke up as his followers began taking "Take your servant Balon Greyjoy back beneath the waves. Feed the creatures of your kingdom on his flesh, pull his bones down to your depths to rest alongside his ancestors and his children."

"What is dead may never died" All of the people gathered chanted and then the raft was pushed out into the open sea. This was an Ironborn funeral where the body would be claimed by the waves and the warrior would be welcomed in the court of the Drowned God to live at his side.

Victorian watched as the raft went out into the sea and he looked at Aeron "It seems that we'll be going to Old Wyke soon. We'll be having a Kingsmoot soon."

Aeron looked him "Our way is the old way." He stated "The Ironborn must elect their new leader."

"I will have to become that leader." Victorian stated "I've been leading the Iron Fleet for years so I may be able to convince some captains to serve me. Besides, once word passes that Balon is dead, he will return."

Aeron knew who Victorian was talking about "Euron may be a mad dog but he is ambitious and his promises may convince some to join him. If he is elected as leader than I will have to serve him."

Victorian looked at him "We better hope that doesn't happen." He stated "Euron will be the death of our people. I'm going to have the Maester send a raven." Aeron looked at him "Theon may have betrayed us and Yara may have been captured but Balon was still their father. They deserve to know that he's dead." Aeron watched as Victorian walked away.

Unknown location at Sea:

Viserys Targaryen stood on the deck alongside Mankar Cameron. Mankar had recently gotten a message from one of his allies that he wanted to give in person and Mankar had used his magic to bring himself and Viserys to the ship where he was to meet their ally.

"Now remember Viserys" Mankar stated "Let me do the talking, this ally of ours has very useful information and he is known to mock people so don't listen to what he says. His information and his help will be vital to our cause."

Mankar and Viserys then walked along the deck of the ship where no one was speaking to them until they reached the captain's cabin and the mute there let them in. The man was sitting on a chair while a naked girl was pouring him wine. Viserys could see tears in the girl's eyes but he didn't care about this girl as she was a nobody.

The man laughed "Ah, so I see you got my message." He said

"I sure did Euron." Mankar replied "It's been a long time since we last met."

Euron Greyjoy laughed and then ordered the girl out and then he stood up from his chair "One thing from having a crew of mutes is that you get used to the sound of silence. That girl I use for my bed doesn't scream since she has no tongue and I like it that way. But you didn't come here to hear me chat, you came here to hear the information I've gathered for you."

"We have" Mankar stated "You said that your information will help us regain our power again to reopen the Oblivion Gates properly."

"Something of this make should be able to." Euron smirked "But I must confess, I wasn't the one who found this information, I just captured someone who does. I was raiding of in the Jade Sea when my crew captured this ship. When we search the crew they didn't have much of interest for raiders but we did find someone who had useful information that you will be very interested in."

The door opened and two mute crew members dragged in a beaten man. Viserys looked at the man and saw that he had golden skin and pointy ears like Mankar and his children. He was beaten with bruises over his skin and he was gagged.

Euron laughed "After we captured him, we were just going to throw him overboard but then I got a look at some papers that we found on his desk. They said him name and his relation to someone who you might know. This is Aicantar, the nephew of Calcelmo."

"Calcelmo?" Mankar questioned "You mean the wizard who interest in the dwarves."

"The very one" Euron smirked.

Viserys had remembered that name from the information that Doreah had sent them. Calcelmo and his research team had discovered something in a ruin in the Bone Mountains and the Mythic Dawn were keen on finding out what it was.

Euron then carried on "From what I was able to read from the notes, it seems that this ruin leads to a place called Blackreach and hidden somewhere in there is an item you have been searching for. An Elder Scroll."

"An Elder Scroll!" Mankar gasped and then smirked and looked at Aicantar "I think you and I will be having a very important chat." Viserys smiled when he saw Aicantar's eyes widen in fear.

Red Keep: King's Landing:

King Martin Baratheon had gathered the small council to discuss the threat of the Sparrows. Every member of the Small council was there sitting around the large table with Martin sat at one end. Martin looked at them.

"I've gathered you all here to discuss a threat that we are currently facing." He said "The threat comes from a group of religious fanatics known as the Sparrows."

Thonar Silver Blood, the Master of Trade was the first to speak up "I've been hearing of complaints against these Sparrows from merchants on the road. It's not just the city where these Sparrows lurk, it's also on the roads in the Crownlands."

Grandmaester Ebrose spoke up next "I've also received ravens from Rosby, Antlers, Stokeworth and Hayford. They said that these Sparrows have started to arrive in their lands and are causing trouble for them. Rosby is the only one that had kicked the Sparrows off their lands. Lord Bronn Blackwater was very firm in removing the Sparrows from his lands but he has to keep a small Legion patrol to prevent them from returning."

Martin knew that Lord Bronn would act rashly. This was the former sellsword who had become nobility and he was everything the Sparrows hated. But if these Sparrows threatened the position that Bronn had claimed then Bronn would defend it."

"I'm afraid that I have some worse news that these Sparrows." Varys stated "It only recently happened but I'm afraid that the High Septon is dead."

That caught the Small council by surprise. After the death of the previous High Septon during a riot in King's Landing during Joffrey's rule, Tyrion had made a new High Septon who had been involved in crowning Martin but other than that, he had nothing to do with Martin's rule. But unlike the previous High Septon, he had not tried to make Martin reconvert to the Faith of the Seven and accept the Divines. News of his death caught everyone by surprise. Martin looked at him "Have your little birds found anything suspicious about this?"

Varys shook his head "No your Grace. But the suddenness of his death could be poisoned by something but we're not sure. But now that means that the position of the High Septon is now open."

"And that position is open to the Sparrows!" Martin realized "The Most Devout will take time to elect a new High Septon and I'm not meant to interfere in the election. But the Sparrows could force them to name the High Sparrow as the new High Septon. Then he will become an even bigger threat."

Delphine looked at Oberyn "Has Tyene been able to find anything on the Sparrows?" she questioned "Could the Sparrows be involved in the High Septon's death, they seem to gain a lot from his death."

Oberyn sighed and shook his head "Tyene is still classed as a new recruit among the Sparrows and can't get anything that can link them to this. However she has given me something else, she was able to spy on one of the High Sparrows meetings with some of his followers. It seems your old cousin Lancel Lannister is one of the High Sparrows top men."

This made Martin sigh, if Lancel Lannister was working with the Sparrows and they committed a crime then Martin would have no choice but to place charges against Lancel for his crimes and he didn't want to do that to a family member even if Lancel was very distant family.

"There is something else." Oberyn claimed "Someone else was with them and Tyene heard them say a name but they also said that she's an exile who's forbidden to enter the city. I don't know the details but I heard Tyene heard the name Unella."

That made Martin widen his eyes and slam his fists down on the desk "Unella!" she spat "That bitch wouldn't dare come here after what she did!"

Ebrose looked at him "Is that a name you know?" he questioned

Tyrion the Master of Coin answered the question "Unella is a Septa who was the tutor for Alessia and Myrcella many years ago. A few years ago when Alessia first converted to the Nine Divines, Martin caught her beating Alessia and calling her a sinner. Martin had her thrown from the Red Keep and exiled from the city on pain of death. If she has returned then if she is caught, Martin is in the right to have her executed."

"But we can't just go to the Sparrows and arrest her" Martin stated "They'll know that we have a spy." He looked at Randyl Tarly, the master of war "Randyl, I need you to prepare the city Watch as we may face an uprising and get the Ninth Legion on standby. If these Sparrows do start an uprising then I want it dealt with quickly."

Randyl nodded "Understood your Grace." He stated "The Ninth Legion is camped at Rosby, if they have to they can march him within a day."

"Be prepared" Martin ordered "This meeting of the Small Council is finished."

Casterly Rock: The Westerlands:

Tommen Baratheon entered Tywin Lannister's office in Casterly Rock as he had been called to talk about something. When he entered the room, Tywin was sitting at his desk and he told Tommen to sit down which he did.

Tywin looked at him "Do you know why I called you here to speak with you?" Tywin asked and Tommen shook his head "I called you here to talk to you about your future. When I first brought you here, you were a timid boy who didn't know anything about ruling or fighting. Now look at you, Master of Arms Benedict Broom says that your swordplay has improved and you're on your way to becoming the best swordsman in the Westerlands when you come of age. And Maester Creylen says that your knowledge has improved."

"I had good teachers." Tommen replied "And I have someone to look up to. My brother Martin."

Tywin nodded "Do you understand what your duty is?" he asked

"My duty as Warden of the West is to rule the Westerlands and to help with the gold supply. The Westerlands is the main supplier of gold in the Seven Kingdoms which makes us very rich."

"That's true" Tywin stated "But that's not all. Remember, the Westerlands is also very important for another thing and that is our ships. The Westerlands is very close to the Iron Islands and we have to keep a close eye on them. About 10 years ago, I watched from this very office when the Greyjoy Fleet attacked Lannisport and burnt the harbour and our fleet. It took me many years to rebuild but I did learn that you should always be on alert. You may be young Tommen but there is something else that you have to do as part of your duty. You're only ten and two name days but powerful families marry younger than that. Your brother Martin is still unmarried but he's got a lot of problems at the moment than marriage. Your sister Myrcella is to marry Trystane Martell and that just leaves you."

Tommen looked a bit worried "I saw the relation between my father and mother." He stated "They did not love each other at all and seemed to despise each other. I don't want to have a marriage like that."

Tywin looked at him "Marriages are hardly ever about love. They are about duty but if you try then the husband and wife can come to love each other. Your parents never even tried, Robert never got over Lyanna. And Robert always spent time with prostitutes; wives tend to hate it when their husband has a bastard."

Tommen thought for a moment "So who is it I'm to marry."

Tywin stood up and took a book from the bookshelf behind him "Normally it is common for a lord of a Great House to marry one of their vassals. But right now we need to form close alliances with the other Great Houses. Of all the houses in Westeros, the Lannisters are the most powerful and the Tyrells are our only true rivals in terms of resources and we need them on our side."

"The Tyrells?" Tommen questioned "My mother hates that family."

"Your mother does not make decisions anymore." Tywin replied "She's already proved that she knows nothing about ruling. Besides, your mother hates anyone who isn't a Lannister, but you don't make formal alliances with people that you trust. The Tyrells are very important for our food resources so in times of war, you need them to feed an army and to keep the people happy. One thing that Peasants want the most is food."

"My father wasn't very rich was he?" Tommen asked

Tywin nodded "Your father had me funding him." He stated "When he first came to the throne the treasury was overflowing but then it became empty. Of course that was because Baelish was stealing the funds for himself but even so, Robert never knew how to handle money. He always spent it on wine, whores and tourneys. He held a tourney for anything. Martin knows how to handle money but he has his own income from his Silver Mines located near Cloud Ruler Temple, land that is now owned by the crown."

"I guess that's why he was able to accomplish his achievements." Tommen stated

"It was." Tywin replied and then he looked at Tommen with a serious look on his face "Do you know how much Gold was mined here in the Westerlands this past year?"

"I have no idea" Tommen answered

"Go on then" Tywin stated "Have a guess."

Tommen thought for a moment "But in what?" he asked "Pounds, tonnes or ounces."

"It doesn't matter." Tywin stated "It's the same answer."

For a second Tommen was confused but then he realised what Tywin was saying "You mean that there is no gold left?"

Tywin nodded "Our last working mine ran dry shortly before your brother started his war. That is what happens when we've been mining for hundreds of years, gold doesn't last forever"

Tommen looked at him "So how do we pay for anything?" he asked

Tywin sat down "I said our last gold mine ran dry that is running but there are some that are closed off. At Castamere and Tarbeck Hall, there are still deposits of gold but I am reluctant to reopen them. Many of these lords hate me but I've always been able to keep them in line thanks to my actions against Houses Reyne and Tarbeck. You on the other hand are different which is why you need to marry Margaery Tyrell, having the Tyrells behind us is a way to make sure the other houses don't go against us. When you become Lord of Casterly Rock, you have the chance to reopen those mines but you will have to make sure they are in the hands of people who you trust." He then gave Tommen a serious look "And there are other minerals that can be used to make money. Thanks to your brother Martin, the use of Quicksilver and Ebony Ore is rising and we have plenty of that. For hundreds of years veins of Ebony and Quicksilver have been left since they were worthless but now they have value."

"So one day I will be in charge of the Westerlands and this supply of minerals that are needed for an army?" Tommen questioned

"You will," Tywin stated "And you need to understand how to manage these mines. If they are mismanaged then the ore will run out quick or someone will take advantage and steal them from you. So it is time for you to learn about how to manage the mines."

Lorath: Essos:

The city of Lorath is Essos was the smallest and poorest of the Nine Free Cities of Essos. This city is located at the northern part of Essos on the western side of the largest of three islands just off the mainland. The city claims the rights of fishing in Lorath Bay but because the city isn't strong enough, fisherman from Braavos and Ib use the waters as well leaving Lorath unable to defend their rights which is why the city is so poor. Lorath mostly trades with Braavos, Ib and Norvos and they trade in Walrus Tusks, sealskins, Whale oil and salt cod and trade materials to make velvet. Once Lorath controlled lands to the Axe Peninsular but wars with the other Free Cities such as Norvos led them to only controlling the three small islands and a small chunk of the mainland.

However the city was also part of the route that the Northern Maiden on their route from White Harbour to Raven Rock. Captain Gjalund Salt Sage had told them that it would be another week and a half before they reached Raven Rock and that was if the wind was in their favour. Tormund and Ygritte had never been on a ship before as Jon saw both of them throwing their breakfast over the edges. Jon and some of the others had found it funny but a glare from Ygritte prevented them from laughing and none of them wanted to anger the woman who was a skilled archer.

Jon walked over to Gjalund "So, what will happen when we arrive at Raven Rock?" he asked

"I will warn you" Gjalund stated "The people there will view you with suspicion. They don't get many visitors and so they won't trust you right away. It doesn't help that just over thirty years ago, there was an assassination attempt on the Town's leader. It failed but it's left second Councillor Arano suspicious of everyone. He will ask you for your intentions when you first arrive but don't hold it against him. He's only doing his job and as Councillor Morvayn is getting old now so Arano runs the day to day operations of Raven Rock."

"And how do we get to the Skaal?" Serena asked as she walked over.

Gjalund sighed "Sadly when I trade with the Skaal tribe, they come to Raven Rock, I've never been to their village. You could get more information from Geldis Sadri; he owns the local inn and knows more about Solstheim. He could give you more information than me."

"So when we arrive in Raven Rock, we'll buy a map from a merchant and they get some information from this Geldis before we head to Skaal Village."

Serena nodded and she went to check on Ollrod who was also throwing over the side on the ship leaving Jon to stare off into the horizon.

King's Landing: Great Sept:

The Great Sept of Baelor was the headquarters of the Faith of the Sevan. The Sept replaced the Starry Sept on Oldtown as the headquarters of the Faith and was the home of the High Septon and the Most Devout. This Sept had been built during the rule of King Baelor The blessed and was built on Visenya's Hill and replaced the Sept of Remembrance which had been destroyed by King Maegor during the Faith Militant Uprising. The Sept was an impressive domed building with seven small towers to represent the Seven. There had been a marble statue of Baelor at the entrance but during the Battle of King's Landing, the statue had been destroyed and King Martin had chosen not to rebuild it because he viewed King Baelor as a Mad King and a fanatic so he didn't have a good view of King Baelor. This Sept was also where the grand weddings of important members of the council and the Royal family happened as many royal family members and people such as Tywin Lannister had their weddings here.

The Most Devout was a council of the highest ranking clergy of the Faith of the Seven. They were seen as the most important members of the Faith of the Sevan and usually, the High Septon was elected from among the male members of their organisation but this was not usually a requirement.

Such was the case with the new High Septon or the High Sparrow as he liked to be called. In just the last few years, two High Septons had died, one had died during the Riot of King's Landing and the High Septon to replace him had just died. The suddenness of his death had caught everyone by surprise and before the Most Devout could gather to begin naming a new High Septon, the Sparrows had forced their way into the Sept and had forced the Most Devout to name their leader as the High Septon. With King Martin currently having issues with the Mythic Dawn and Worm Cult and also the fact that he dislikes the Faith of the Seven, the Most Devout had been forced to obey the Sparrows.

The High Sparrow along with Brother Lancel, Septa Unella and their new ally Runa Cameron were in the High Septon's office which was richly decorated. But everyone in the room chose to wear simply brown robes instead of the fancy robes of the High Sparrow.

The High Sparrow looked around at the fancy ornaments of the High Sparrows office, ornaments bought using the money that was taken from the Faith taxes. "I want all of this useless junk sold to buy food for the poor." He ordered

"I will have my brothers search the place for all of the useless junk that we don't need." Lancel stated and he left the room.

Unella looked at the High Sparrow "You know I will follow you wherever you go" she stated "But remember that there are still many sinners in this city that need dealing with."

"And how am I supposed to deal with them?" The High Sparrow questioned "If you go out into the city it will bring the King's Armies down on us."

"And you're the High Septon now." Runa stated "Martin can' touch you without bringing the wraith of the people down on him. Many years ago, the Faith had it's own army to bring sinners to justice. Maybe it's time to bring them back."

"There is a royal degree that forbids the Faith from arming themselves." The High Sparrow pointed out.

Runa just smiled again "And do the royals have a right to say what the Faith can do. You were chosen by the Seven for this holy mission, it's up to you to carry it out and the King can't stop you and even if he does, I have a plan that will make sure he stays away from us." Unella and the High Sparrow looked at her while Runa smirked as none of them had any idea that she was behind the High Septon's death after she had slipped into the Sept and poisoned his wine., soon enough the city would be in chaos and she will have her chance to strike at the King and take him out just like her father and Viserys wanted them to do.

Unknown to all of them, hiding just outside the door was Oberyn's daughter Tyene Sand dressed in a Septa's robe and her head was covered up so no one would recognise her. Now she had heard what she needed to know, she prepared to write to her father and inform him of what she had learnt.

Highgarden: The Reach:

The fortress of Highgarden was the capital of the Reach and an example of the Reach's strong castles. The castle was built with white stone and the main keep was surrounded by three walls which increase in Height. Between each of the walls are gardens and fountains which make Highgarden one of the most beautiful castles in Westeros and shows the Tyrell's riches since the Reach is the most fertile area in Westeros and the House that leads the Reach had the most beautiful castle. House Gardener originally held the castle until the House went extint during Aegon's Conquest and their royal stewards, House Tyrell replaced them. Highgarden had been sacked a number of times during the Age of Heroes due to wars with the surrounding Kingdoms and infighting with the different Reach Houses but ever since Aegon's Conquest, Highgarden had never been sieged even during the Dornish Wars, the Dance of the Dragons since House Tyrell remained neutral and during Robert and Martin's Rebellion as the wars never entered the Reach even when the Reach forces were involved.

The current Lord of House Tyrell was Lord Willas Tyrell who had taken over lordship after his father Mace Tyrell died in the Battle of King's Landing. After the war ended, Willas married his lover, Princess Alessia Baratheon and the two settled back in Highgarden. They had only been married for just over a year and Alessia had already given birth to their first child, a girl they called Rose. Despite Willas having a crippled leg, he had been settling in as Warden of the South and had arranged for his sister Margaery to marry the heir to Casterly Rock, Tommen Lannister.

Right now, Willas was in his council room along with his grandmother Olenna who had taught him how to rule effectively which is better than what his father could do. He also had Maester Lomys who was the Maester of Highgarden and the man who helped Alessia give birth to her daughter, Highgarden's Captain of the guard Igon Vyrwel and the Lord Seneschal of Highgarden, Lord Garth Tyrell, the uncle of Lord Mace Tyrell. Willas' wife Lady Alessia was also in the room.

"Willas looked at Maester Lomys "Maester, what are the reports from the other houses?" he questioned

"The houses in the Marches and the northern lands have gathered their men and they're prepared to fight when you call for them." The Maester stated. "The new Imperial Eighth Legion is also now stationed at Fort Carmala and we also have the Second Legion at Fort Greenwall."

Willas nodded in reply, he knew that when the time came to fight both the Mythic Dawn and the Worm cult, everyone would be needed. He then looked at his great Uncle "How are our food supplies?" he questioned

"As usual, we've have a plentiful harvest and we have enough food to feed our troops and our people" Lord Garth stated "We have also been trading our unused crops to the Night's Watch and the Legion."

Alessia nodded, while the Night's Watch was not seen as important in the south, the discovery of that Wight hand had sent shocks and the Reach had begun selling food since food was hard to grow in the north due to the cold weather. She looked at the Maester "And what about our fleet, my brother has been worried about the Ironborn." While the Reach the Redwyne fleet stationed at the Arbor, there was a major worry about the Ironborn since they had been known to raid the Reach from time to time.

Maester Lomys spoke up again "The Redwyne Fleet has increased patrols around the island and House Hightower have expanded their fleet to protect Oldtown. Unfortunately, the Houses of the Shield Islands have been unable to build a large amount of ships. They just don't have the funds to build a major fleet." That was a major worry as if the Ironborn got any bright ideas and attacked the Shield Islands, they would win and that would give them access to the Mander River which could even allow them to strike Highgarden.

But Alessia had other things on her mind "I know that you want me to stay here but I need to head to King's Landing to see my brother. He's going to need my help."

As she expected, this got protest from the other members "You can't be going to King's Landing right now." Olenna protested "You're the Lady of the Reach, we need you here and your daughter needs you."

"You will all be fine without me for just a month." Alessia stated "If it helps then I'll take Loras with me. He'll be able to protect me along with a few of our knights. I don't want to draw attention to ourselves by travelling in a big group due to what's going on in the Capital."

Willas sighed; sometimes there was no arguing with his wife. When she made her mind up, she would defend her choice "Alright, but I want you to stay safe while you're out there. If anything happens to you then I'll never forgive myself. Our daughter needs you."

"I'll be fine Willas." Alessia stated and she kissed her husband on the cheek "I'm more than capably of defending myself remember. I need to go and pack my things and say goodbye to Rose. The Wet nurse will be able to take care of her while I'm gone."

Tolos: Essos:

The city of Tolos lay on the northwest coast of Slaver's Bay on the Black Cliffs. The city was connected by the Valyrian roads which went to the cities of Mantarys and Bhorash. The city of Tolos was believed to have been founded by the Valyrian Freehold and is one of the closest cities to the remains of the Freehold. The city itself was very small compared to the larger cities of Slavers Bay such as Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen and so not many people came to the city by ship. But the city lay on large roads which connected Slaver's Bay to the Free Cities so trade did come by road often and Tolos was known to train men in using slingers which throw soft lead balls that do a lot of damage to flesh.

But now the city was under threat and the rulers had hired the Golden Company to defend the city from a bunch of outlaws who were planning on attacking the city. I reality, these outlaws were a bunch of anti-slavers who were disrupting slavery in the region and they had set their eyes on Tolos. Many members of the Golden Company were against helping Tolos and Slavers but Harry Strickland had made his decision, or rather the Slavers had forced him to accept the contract because he was a weak man.

But Jon Connington had a plan to get rid of Strickland and his top men and was in his tent with Black Balaq to discuss their plan. Aegon and his sisters were in the tent as well "So you know the plan Balaq?" Connington asked

"My archers will be on the walls defending the city and then when Travis and his men arrive, we turn around and open the gates for Travis."

"That will distract Strickland and I will strike. Aegon will be with me along with Laswell Peake and Marq. We will help capture the lords and we'll turn them over to Travis." Connington finished "Now we all know our plan, we need to get into position, Travis will be here soon." The men all left leaving Connington in the tent with Aegon and his sisters, Connington noticed that Aegon didn't look happy "Is everything alright Aegon?" he questioned "You seem concerned."

Aegon sighed "It's just, I'm not too sure about this plan." He admitted "Even if we take control of the Golden Company, I still don't see how we can invade Westeros. We don't have the strength and the Golden Company has been defeated three times when they've invaded in the past."

Visenya looked at Aegon "Maybe we don't need to invade Westeros. Maybe we can do something different."

"Like what?" Rhaenys questioned

"Like ending the Slave trade." Visenya suggested "I meant it sounds like this Travis has a noble cause. If we can't retake our old land, then why don't we build ourselves a new Kingdom, just like our namesakes did."

Aegon, Rhaenys and Connington looked at Visenya and then at each other as her words made them think.

Wayrest: Stormhaven:

Daenerys Targaryen arrived at the vast city of Wayrest with Farengar, Jorah, Rakharo, Damien and her dragons with her. They arrived at Wayrest Castle and they were escorted into the Throne room where they saw High King Emeric was in the throne room along with two people who Daenerys had met a while ago. One was a an elder High Elf wearing a blue Mage's robe, Daenerys recognised her as Calcelmo, the mage who had been an old friend of Farengar and the person who helped them get into Wayrest to speak with Emeric. The other was a dark skinned man who wore bronze coloured armour and had short black hair, Daenerys recognised him as King Fahara'jad, the King of Sentinel. Daenerys also saw recently crowned Queen Tamrith of Shornhelm and two other men who she did not know. One had long red hair and a thick beard while the other had short blond hair.

Emeric smiled when she entered the room "Lady Daenerys." He greeted "Before I explain why I wanted to see you, I guess I should introduce the two men you have not met." He pointed to the Red Haired man "This is King Casimir of Daggerfall, king of the Glenumbra Region." Then he pointed to the blond haired man "And this is King Eamond of Evermore, King of the Bangkorai region."

"Nice to meet you my lady." Casimir greeted "I heard about what you did in Rivenspire, well done in helping end that Civil War."

"Well, now that Lady Daenerys is here, I think it's time we explain what's going on." Fagara'jad stated

"Are you sure that this is even nessessary?" Tamrith questioned "We've been doing fine on our own for hundreds of years now."

"Tamrith, these documents were written and we all swore an Oath." Eamond stated "We may have elected Emeric High King but he still has an overlord and that overlord might have returned after all these years."

"And with the threat of the Mythic Dawn, we might need him." Calcelmo added

Daenerys was confused for a bit "What are you talking about?" she questioned

Emeric sighed and looked at her "My lady, you know all about the Septim Empire." Daenerys nodded in reply, she had been ready many books on this Ancient Empire as there were many books written about them "Well that Empire once spread to this region before Oblivion Crisis and the Great Catastrophe which shattered the lands. But we are now the only remnants of that Empire that still practise the old laws and the religion of that Empire. When the Septims died out, we swore that one day if the family did return, then we would join them if they proved themselves worthy of our aid."

"And after many years, a Septim may have returned." Casimir stated "We have stick to our lands but we have been hearing rumours."

Daenerys looked at Farengar and Jorah who didn't quite understand and while Farengar did know, he didn't show it "What do you mean?" she asked

Emeric looked at her "We've been hearing word that a major civil war in Westeros has ended. A new King sits on the Iron Throne."

'A throne that belongs to my family' Daenerys thought. She may have once thought of taking the Iron Throne but now that she had a home here, she didn't see the point anymore as now, she could build a new life for herself, why should she risk what she has to take something else.

Casimir looked at Daenerys "We do know what happened to your family." He stated "And Emeric thinks he might be able to help you at least get a place back in your homeland."

"I still think we should just stay where we are for now." Tamrith pointed out.

Emeric shook his head "Our ancestors swore an Oath long ago." He stated "Besides if the Mythic Dawn has indeed returned and I'm hearing word about the Worm Cult as well, we may have to join forces to defeat them." He then looked at Daenerys "I'm taking a ship to Westeros and I was hoping you would come with me as my guest."

"But I might not be welcomed in Westeros" Daenerys pointed out "They might try to kill me."

"Actually, I can put in a good word for you." Farengar pointed out "I have actually met the current King Martin once before. It has been a while since we last met but we still know each other. I've been with you for two years now and I'm glad to have met you Daenerys Targaryen. King Martin might listen to me."

"There is something else as well." Emeric pointed out "I've been hearing reports of your dragons causing a few problems in the countryside but again, I have a solution."

"What solution is that?" Daenerys asked

"Dragons are creatures that feel relaxed when they have mates." Emeric pointed out and looked at Farengar "It was your book that helped me learn that. Wel I have an idea on where your dragons could find mates."

'And maybe breed more dragons' Daenerys thought and looked at Emeric "Where are these possible mates for my dragons?" she asked

"In Westeros." Emeric replied "There are rumours that you are not the only one who has hatched dragons. There are rumours that King Martin himself has five dragons of his own including some females."

Calcelmo stepped forward "There is something else as well. You dealt with the Mythic Dawn in Rivenspire but they're not defeated. And we now have a major problem on our hands."

"What do you mean?" Farengar asked

"I was able to find out what was hidden by that Dwarven Device we found earlier." Calcelmo replied "It seems to be an entrance to Blackreach, an Ancient Dwarven land that connected the Dwarven Cities of Alftand, Mzinchaleft and Raldbthar. Other than that, I don't know so much but I had been planning an exhibition once we know how to enter the doorway. But after reading a text, I learnt that Blackreach is also home to the Tower of Mzark, a Dwarven Research outpost dedicated to the research of the Elder Scrolls."

"And that makes it a target for the Mythic Dawn." Farengar stated

"It does." King Fahara'jad replied "Aicantar and Captain Aquilius were sent to recover an item which can open the door. But I lost contact with them and when I sent more men to search for them, they found their ship had been attacked off the coast. Captain Aquilius was found alive and he said their ship was attacked by a ship known as the Silence. We don't know much but it could have something to do with the Mythic Dawn. But they took Aicantar and the device to open the door with them."

Farengar looked at Jorah and Daenerys in shock, they had not been expecting this, the Mythic Dawn were still out there but Farengar now knew that the Mythic Dawn was now in a position to steal an Elder Scroll, if that happened then they would be able to gain their power. He knew that he would have to inform Grandmaster Delphine about this and just hope that Westeros was ready for the return of the Mythic Dawn.

Unknown Location:

Mankar Cameron brought Viserys into a room "Now that we've interrogated the prisoner, I know what we must do."

Viserys had not been present when Mankar had interrogated Aicanter and was curious as to what he had learnt. "So what did our prisoner say?"

"He broke pretty quickly." Mankar sneered "And now we may be able to get what we need to get the item to recover our strength. Once we have the Elder Scroll, it's power should allow us to recover our lost magic and allow us to open Oblivion Gates all over Westeros just like we did thousands of years ago." He then looked at Viserys "And since you what to be King so bad, I feel like you should be the one to recover this scroll. You have been training to use our magic but you are not the best fighter so use your magic to get through the ruins. Thanks to Farengar and his allies, the ruins you will first be entering have been cleared so you should have no problem with that. But once you enter Blackreach you will be in unknown territory."

"So how do I get into this Blackreach?" Viserys demanded

Mankar smirked and pulled out a small sphere "This item might not look like much but this is the key, a key that Calcelmo had developed to enter Blackreach, at the end of Aftand, you'll do a large square device in the centre of a large cage, that is the door, place the sphere into the lock and the door shall open. Once you get inside head to a place called the Tower of Mzark, that is where the scroll will be located. However, I doubt it be will easy to retrieve the scroll so you may have to look around to find out how to get the scroll. You will also be on your own with this mission because all of our top members are currently on missions."

"If this scrolls helps me become King then I will gladly retrieve it." Viserys smirked

Mankar nodded "Then off you go Viserys, I shall teleport you to the ruins of Alftand where the start is but after that, you are on your own." Mankar held his hand out and a ball of light appeared which he sent at Viserys and Viserys faded.

Fort Snowhawke: The North:

Legate Galmar Stone-Fist sat at his desk in the command Tower of the headquarters of his legion. He had asked for Theon Greyjoy to come and see him because he had just received a raven and he needed to show it to Theon as it concerned his family. The door to his office and Theon Greyjoy walked in wearing a suit of brown studied Imperial Armour "You wanted to see me Legate Galmar?" he stated

"I did Praefect Theon." Galmar replied as he said Theon's rank "Take a seat." Theon sat on the seat opposite Galmar "You're wondering why I have called you here." Theon nodded in response and Galmar sighed as he tried to find the right way to say it. "I received a raven today." He opened the draw on his desk and pulled a raven scroll out "It was from your Uncle Victorian."

"Uncle Victorian?" Theon questioned in confusion "Why would he be writing to the Imperial Legion?"

"Well the raven was meant for you and your sister." Galmar stated "I think you better read it, it contains some bad news." Theon looked at Galmar as he took the scrolls that Galmar offered to him and when he opened it, his eyes widened in shock.

King's Landing, Temple of the Divines:

High priest Rorlund stood in front of a small crowd of gathered converts to the Divines. His wife Freir and priestess Silana Petreia stood to the side.

"People of King's Landing" Rorlund spoke to the people "The Divines have given us their blessing. Thanks to our great King Martin, you people have hope again. A hope of a better future. Many of you came to us in need of aid, aid that others would not give you but thanks to our donations and aid from the King, we are able to get food for the hungry and aid to the sick. We thank the Divines for their blessing and we seek to keep you people safe from those who would harm you."

There was a round of applause from the people gathered, many people who had converted had been refugees from the war or had a hard life. Many found the Priests of the Divines better because unlike the Faith of the Seven, they did not tax and only asked for donations to feed the sick and poor and they also very not fanatical in trying to spread their beliefs like the Sparrows. Many regular people in King's Landing had grown fed up with these Sparrows causing trouble and threatening people in the streets. But thanks to Martin, the city watch had increased their presence in the areas where the Sparrows caused problems which were mainly in the market and around the Temple of the Nine Divines.

After the gathering had finished, the people began to leave the Temple to return to their homes. Only the priests along with a few people remained. High Priest saw Guard Captain Carmalo Truiand in the Temple and way saying a prayer to Arkay, Carmalo had been one of the major leaders of the Resistance against Joffrey and was praying for the souls of his comrades who had died in the war. Then Rorlund saw someone who made him smile, it was a young woman with a young girl who was barely two namedays old. Rorlund recognised the girl as Mhaegen and her daughter Barra, the young woman who Rorlund had helped escape the city when Joffrey ordered the killing of children throughout the city. "Hello my dear, I see that you are doing well." Rorlund greeted.

Mhaegen smiled "Hello High Priest Rorlund." She greeted as she stood up from the shrine of Stendarr "I was telling Barra here about the Divines, but she's still very young so it's difficult for her to understand right now."

Rorlund smiled at the young girl who seemed a bit afraid and was hiding behind her mother's skirts "You don't have to be afraid of my little girl, here you are protected from any who wish to harm you." He looked at Rorlund "So how are you doing now?"

"Well from my time at the town at Cloud Ruler, I was able to start learning a bit about sewing." Mhaegen stated "I came back here and I was able to meet a nice woman who's teaching me more about sewing. I hope to one day open my own dress shop. I have also been visiting those small schools so I can get a better understanding of how to handle money."

"I'm sure one day you will open your own clothes shop." Freir smiled as she approached and hugged her husband.

Rorlund was about to move on but then the door slammed open and Rorlund saw a guard running inside "Commander Truiand!" the guard shouted "You better come quickly!"

Carmalo Truiand stood up from the shrine of Arkay and stared at the guard who he recognised as Amminus Gregori, "Calm down Gregori." He stated "What is it."

Gregori narrowed his eyes "It's those Sparrows again. A whole group of them have gathered just a short distance from the temple and they're demanding we hand over the people in the temple as sinners."

Mhaegen gasped in horror as she held her daughter tightly and Carmalo looked at them "Everyone, stay indoors while we handle this, Rorlund, bar the doors until we've dealt with this."

Carmalo went outside with Gregori and soon he joined up with a few other guards and then he saw what worried him, a force of nearly 100 Sparrows had gathered and they were all wielding clubs with Iron spikes, they also had the seven pointed star carved on their forehead. Their leader then approached Camarlo "Commander Camarlo, you have been judge guilty of being a heathen and you are ordered to surrender yourself and the other heathens in the temple to face judgement by the most holy High Sparrow."

Carmalo glared at the Sparrow "You don't make demands here Sparrow!" he spat "You were warned before that you were not to cause trouble but it seems that you just don't care about that. Your High Sparrow doesn't make the laws here, the King does. Now I'm ordering you to disperse and I may just forget about this. If you refuse then I have my orders for you to be dealt with as criminals."

The Sparrow did not budge "We have a holy mission to cleanse this world of sinners. I suggest that you surrender."

Carmalo just drew his sword "I'm giving you one last warning Sparrow, leave here or I will be forced to draw blood."

"How would that look to the people?" the Sparrow demanded.

He got his answer when a rock was flung at him by a nearby bystander "You come into this place where you are not wanted and you demand that we bow to your laws!" the man spat at him "We don't want religious fanatics like you, we want peace and to be able to get on with our lives. We don't want you here!"

Carmalo smirked "I guess that answers you question." He stated

The Sparrow still did not back down "Move up with me, we must deal with these heathens. in the name of the Seven!"

Carmalo and the guards drew their swords and prepared for the fight.

The North: The Dreadfort:

Lord Roose Bolton sat at a table alongside his son Domeric. There were discussing Domeric's upcoming marriage to Lady Sansa Stark. After the Civil War had ended, Sansa had returned to the North but she was of marrying age and a marriage had been arranged for her. It had been between Domeric and Lord Karstark's three sons but in the end, Domeric had been chosen, this would help bring links between the Boltons and the Starks, the two most powerful houses in the North. But while his son was to marry, Roose had also married his second wife. Roose had agreed to marry again in case something happened to Domeric then at least House Bolton's future was secured. His new wife had been a granddaughter of Lord Walder Frey. She was the daughter of Merrett Frey, the Ninth son of Lord Walder. Lord Walder had offered him her dowry as her weight in silver so she had chosen Walda because she was the fattest girl but she was pretty in her own sort of way.

"So you understand what your duty is my son?" Roose asked his son.

"I am to marry Lady Sansa and have my family though her." Domeric answered "But what if she doesn't love me."

"She may not at first but one day you may love each other." Roose stated "Your mother and I did not love each other at first but you brought us together, children are a way of bringing parents closer. And I and my new wife will have one as well soon so you will have a brother."

"How can you be sure?" Domeric asked

"Maester Wolkan said that she had the symptoms." Roose stated "And I thought you wanted to have a brother."

"I still do." Domeric stated "But what if this child grows up to be jealous of me and be more like Ramsay?"

"If the child is raised right then he will not be like that bastard." Roose stated "You never really asked about his mother."

"What was the point?" Domeric questioned

Roose looked at his son "She was a Miller's wife, pretty in her own sort of way. I was riding on our lands in a bit of a fury as your mother had suffered a miscarriage. This was before you were born. I am not proud about what happened. She and her new husband had married without my knowledge or my consent and because I was drunk at the time, I flew into a bit of a rage. I had the Miller hanged and took his wife before the tree where he was swinging and she fought me. I didn't even realised what I done and I forgot all about it until about a year later, she arrived with a baby which she claimed was mine. Your mother was pregnant with you at that time and I was worried she would find out. I nearly had the girl whipped and the child thrown into the Fever River. But I took one look into the boys eyes and I saw my eyes. So I let her go with a bit of gold to keep her quiet."

"And is that the last you heard of her?" Domeric questioned

"No it wasn't." Roose replied as he stood up from his chair "She came back years later saying that she was having problems with her child who was running wild. So I sent a servant known as Reek to them and apparently, the two became friends quickly."

"Is Reek that man who smelt badly?" Domeric questioned "I remember seeing someone like that when I met Ramsay."

"He was." Roose answered "He once stole some of your mother's perfume and drank it to try and smell better, that nearly killed him. He was also aware of who he was and so he started to believe that he was the rightful ruler of the Dreadfort since he was older than you."

Domeric took in what his father said and then something made him think, he knew that Ramsay had vanished when he tried to poison him but what happened to Ramsay's family "What happened to Reek?" he questioned "And Ramsay's mother?"

"Reek vanished with Ramsay." Roose replied "And Ramsay's mother was founded dead on the destroyed farm; apparently Ramsay decided to destroy the place when he ran away. As to where he is, I have no idea and unless he decided to reappear again, I will not bother searching for him. I will not go looking for trouble that I don't need.

Unknown Location:

The Mythic Dawn was not the only cult that were making plans of returning. There was another cult and this one had already clashed with Martin Baratheon before. This cult was less known as they came from a time shortly before the founding of the Septim Empire but they took had a dark history, they were known as the Order of the Black Worm or better known as the Worm Cult.

The Worm Cult just like the Mythic Dawn were a Daedric Cult only they worshipped a different Daedric Prince. The Worm Cult worshipped the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, the lord of domination and the enslavement of mortals. They were a group of necromancers who were mages who practiced a forbidden magic which involved enslaving and raising the dead.

Their headquarters was a dark cave which was located in the wildness, no one would ever realise that this cave was home to a Daedric Cult as the cave was so dark that no one was willing to enter, not even outlaws who could have used the cave as a hideout. The Worm Cult leading members were gathered in a large room which had a large black alter in the middle. The Alter looked like a large bowl filled with blood and there was a large bust attached above the bowl. This bust was carved into a demon with horns which was meant to represent Molag Bal himself.

The leader of the Cult, a man wearing long black robes and a crown made from bones stepped forward "Servants of Molag Bal," he called out "Once again, our offerings to the Lord of Domination have been heard. Our Lord tells us to start our preparations and warns us not to rush. He says that attacking King's Landing was a mistake and we must not repeat that and be exposed too early. He says to let our rivals, the Mythic Dawn fail and when Westeros is weak, we can make our move." That gained cheers from the gathered men "Now carry on." The people left and soon, the only people left at the Alter were the man who had made the speech and two other men. The first of them was an ugly man with a broad nose and short shaggy black hair. He wore armour that had been crafted to look like a leader's armour and had a picture of Molag Bal engraved on the front, he also had a large mace on his belt which was crafted to look like Molag Bal. The second man was even uglier and he stank so much. But the key thing was his eyes, they looked like they had no life in them at all and he wore rags.

"What is it you wish to speak to me about Ramsay?" the leader asked

The armoured man stepped forward, this was Ramsay Snow, the bastard of Roose Bolton "Mannimarco." He stated "I wish to speak to you about our friend, the former Prince."

The leader looked at him, Mannimarco the King of Worms and the leader of the Worm Cult knew who Ramsay was talking about "What is it?"

"I want to know why we bother to keep him around?" Ramsay stated "I've done everything to prove that I'm the Champion of Molag Bal but I want that understood. I am the Champion of Molag Bal, not anyone else, I even gave him Reek's soul and now he is my obedient slave and he doesn't say anything at all."

"So what do you think we should do about our prisoner?" Mannimarco questioned

Ramsay smirked "I think we should speak with our old friends, Clan Volkihar."

The smirk on Mannimarco's face fell "You mean speak with Harkon, why should we do that."

"Think about it." Ramsay stated "The power that he offers might be what we need to ensure that prick of a prince is useful to us in some way. And at the same time, keep him under control so he doesn't get any bright ideas. We've had him for nearly a year and he still thinks that he is the King of Westeros. That will never happen and he needs to understand."

Mannimaro sighed "Very well." He stated "we will go and speak with Harkon as the Champion n Molag Bal and if he agrees then we'll see about your idea. If he agrees then let's see how he fairs with new blood running through his veins."

"I will do what our lord commands." Ramsay stated and then he and Reek left the room.

King's Landing: Small Council Chambers:

King Martin Baratheon sat at the small council chambers with the rest of the small council and he was not very happy at all with the news that he had just received.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Martin snapped

"I'm not." came the reply from Captain Camarlo Truiand "Those Sparrows claim that they are working in the name of the Seven and have a holy mission. The High Sparrow is now the High Septon and has sent his Sparrows to purge this city of its sins."

"You mean cause trouble" Martin hissed "That does it, I've given him enough warnings and he counties to say that he has a right to do this. So how much of the city have the Sparrows taken."

"After I defeated the Sparrows attacking the Temple, I was able to learn where else the Sparrows struck." Camarlo stated "They attacked all over the city but in most areas, the city guard fought them off and the people turned against them as well. They seemed to hate the Sparrows as well, the only supporters are the very religious folk but thanks to them raiding some of the armour shops on the street of steel, they've captured Flea Bottom but other than that we still control the city. A group also attacked the Dragonpit where your dragons are but they were easily defeated by a combined force of Dragonfire and the Blades, these Sparrows did not have the numbers as the mob that stormed the Dragonpit during the Dance of the Dragons." After taking the city, Martin had rebuilt the Dragon Pit and had his dragons use it as their home, they were never locked up but the Blades kept an eye on them to make sure that they did not go on a rampage, the only dragon they were having problems with was Fui, the female Red Dragon which was the wildest of them and several times, Martin had her locked up so she would learn how to behave.

Martin sighed in annoyance and looked at Grandmaester Ebrose "Send a message to the Ninth Legion at Rosby, tell them to march here, I want these Sparrows dealt with quickly. They've started this uprising and now I will put them down. I don't care about creating Martyrs anymore; I will have every Sparrow put to the sword and end their little cult."

"What about the Sparrows that we've captured?" Delphine asked as they had managed to capture a number of Sparrows involved in the attempted uprising.

"Have them all executed" Martin said simply "And place their heads on spikes, as soon as the Ninth Legion gets here those Sparrows will serve as a warning to the others. And I'm issuing a temporary curfew in this city until these Sparrows are dealt with."

"I'll have Ahtar do the deed right away." Oberyn stated "And I'll have the town callers inform the people of what's going on. This is an attempted uprising by the Sparrows."

"Has Tyene reported anything else?" Martin asked

Oberyn shook his head "Not yet she hasn't but she has a suspicion that these Sparrows may have links to another group. She overheard the High Sparrow talking to someone called Runa Cameron. She was the one who convinced the High Sparrow to start this uprising."

"Runa Cameron?" Delphine gasped "That's impossible, she's dead."

"What are you talking about Grandmaster Delphine?" Randyll questioned "Who is this Runa?"

"Runa Cameron is the daughter of Mankar Cameron, the founder of the Mythic Dawn." Delphine asked "But she along with her father and her brother were all killed thousands of years ago when the Mythic Dawn nearly destroyed the world thousands of years ago. There is no way they could still be alive."

"There might have been a way for them to survive somehow." Martin stated "They have magic that has been lost for thousands of years. But this gives me another reason to end the Sparrows as they are conspiring with a known enemy which makes the Sparrows traitors. Write to Rosby, the Ninth Legion is to march on the city and end the Sparrow threat."

"I'll send the raven right away." Ebrose stated and he walked away to send the raven. The other council members started leaving which left Martin alone in the chambers with Tyrion and Delphine.

"Do you think we're doing the right thing?" Martin asked

"Some of the things my father did were horrible but sometimes they were necessary." Tyrion stated "And in this case, being harsh is the right thing to do."

"Fanatics cannot be negotiated with when they believe their cause is just." Delphine agreed "These Sparrows must be dealt with and if they are in league with the Mythic Dawn then they are traitors to not only you but the world as well."

"I just hope that this goes right." Martin stated "Because now I'm worried that the Mythic Dawn may have other agents in the city."

Tyrion and Delphine also looked concerned; if the Mythic Dawn did have agents in the city then who could they trust. The city was known to be home to people who would do anything to gain power so anyone could be a Mythic Dawn agent.

Fort Snowhawke: The North:

Theon Greyjoy walked up the staircase of one of the Towers of Fort Snowhawke. He had been in complete shock when he read the message from his uncle Victorian which stated that his father was dead. Theon didn't know what to feel, his father didn't care for him as he saw when he went back to the Iron Islands but this man was still his father. But regardless of what he felt, he needed to tell the news to someone else. His sister Yara who was imprisoned here at Fort Snowhawke.

Yara had been imprisoned at Fort Snowhawke after the end of the Civil War but instead of being in a cell, Yara had been given a guest room as she was still a highborn hostage. Over the year she had been given a few freedoms such as being allowed to wander around Fort Snowhawke but she would always be guarded. She had also been allowed to have her friend, Qarl the Maid to spend nights with her in her room.

Theon soon arrived at the room where Yara was held prisoner and it was guarded by two guards who saluted to him as he approached "I need to speak with my sister." Theon told them and the guards nodded. Theon then opened the door and nearly chuckled at what he saw. Yara was lying on the bed naked with Qarl next to her also naked. Yara screamed when she heard someone enter the room and glared at her brother.

"Are you a pervert brother?" Yara groaned as she tried to find her clothes "It's not polite to walk in when someone is making love."

"I didn't even know what you were doing." Theon defended himself "Anyway, I needed to speak with you. I'm afraid that I've received some bad news from uncle Victorian."

Yara had managed to find her breaches and had put them on and covered her top with a cloth shirt "What did Uncle Victorian say?"

Theon sighed and held out the raven scroll "I'm afraid our father is dead." He told her simply

Yara gasped in shock and grabbed the scroll from Theon and as she read it, she collapsed onto the bed "How did he die?"

"He apparently fell from a rope bridge during a storm." Theon replied "Victorian suspects differently but he has no proof. I'm afraid that they've already buried father at sea, the Legion would never have let us return home to see his funeral anyway."

Yara looked at her brother "So who will replace father now?" she asked

Theon sighed "I don't know. They have declared a Kingsmoot to declare a new ruler. We'll just have to hope that whoever it is doesn't get any bright ideas about starting a war with Martin otherwise our home could be attacked again."

Yara looked at her brother with concern in her eyes, she loved her home but it was becoming clear that her home may be in danger. The Ironborn were known to be raiders and if they weren't careful, they could end up being invaded again and this time, the Ironborn way of life may not survive, Theon didn't really care about that lifestyle anymore but Yara did. No one had any idea on what was going to happen now.

Cloud Ruler Temple:

Jaime, Barristan and Fortis road their horses up the steep hill and into the fortress of Cloud Ruler Temple. The Armour of Tiber Septim along with other recovered relics was packed away in the saddlebags and now they were returning them to Cloud Ruler Temple. As they entered through the gate, they found Captain Steffan waiting for them along with the other Blades members.

"My brothers, my sisters" Steffan stated "Our newly knighted brothers have returned from their mission. Were you successful in recovering the armour."

"We were Captain." Barristan stated as he got off his horse and brought the armour of Tiber Septim out and handed it to Captain Steffan.

"Despite being thousands of years old, the armour still looks new." Steffan stated "I shall arrange for it's transportation to King's Landing once we get word that the situation is good."

"What situation?" Jaime questioned "What's going on?"

"Some religious fanatics known as the Sparrows have been causing trouble in King's Landing." Steffan stated "Spymaster Caius has been informed that their leader has been named the High Septon and has now declared a holy mission to purge Westeros of its sins. This has angered the King who has called it an uprising since the Sparrows have created their own Faith Militant which they're not allowed to do. King Martin has called for the Ninth Legion to help squash this uprising before it gets out of hand. King's Landing is now been monitored at all times."

Jaime sighed, he was now worried for the safety of his sister and his children. While Martin had known the truth, he never revealed it but if these Sparrows learnt of the truth then the situation could get even worse. He just hoped that Martin could end these Sparrows before they got even more dangerous.

Tolos: Essos:

Not far from the city, Travis Thresh was hiding with his small force of troops led by Commander Jaqio and they were waiting for the signal. They just had to wait for the Gates to open and for a torch to be waved on the walls. It was dark and so their movements were not seen by the Tolos army. Jaqio had also been able to capture the Tolos scouts that had been sent to scout them so Tolos had no idea of their strength or that they were right outside of the city.

On the city Walls, Laswell Peake and his brothers led the Golden Company forces towards the main gate into the city. This was where they would start their plan to take the city and thankfully, there were few guards on the gate as the Tolos nobility had wanted the Golden Company to take the main force of the attack in order to save their own men and not pay the Golden Company as much. Strickland had no idea of the truth but the others members did and it just gave them more reason to side with Connington and now the Golden Company Spymaster Lysono Maar had also joined Connington as he saw Strickland as a failure.

Laswell and his force quickly killed the guards on the gate and Laswell opened the Gate while his brother Pykewood took a flaming torch and waved it over the walls, that was the signal that they were to give to Travis but also to the members of the Golden Company in the Bell tower led by Denys Strong who quickly killed the Tolos army soldiers there which meant that the rest of Tolos would not be alerted to what was going on.

Travis smiled when he saw the signal and he and Jaqio led their force into the city and then the Battle of Tolos began.

All over the city, the Golden Company members on patrol turned on their Tolos allies and very quickly Travis and the Golden Company had control of most of the city. The soldiers of Tolos were caught completely unaware and had no chance against a strong military order like the Golden Company.

Inside a large warehouse which was being used as the Golden Company's headquarters, Harry Strickland along with Jon Connington and Black Balaq were going over their plans. Strickland was completely unaware of what was going on outside in Tolos.

"So, when the army advances, Balaq will be firing arrows with his archers at the enemy, that should remove the majority of the threat." Strickland stated

Black Balaq nodded in agreement because he knew he couldn't give away what they were going. It was then that Strickland's cupbearer Watkyn ran into the room "Commander!" he gasped "Something's going on, for some reason our soldiers have started fighting the Tolos soldiers."

"What are you talking about?" Strickland demanded

Then Connington stepped in front of Strickland "They're doing what I told them to do." He stated

Strickland glared at him "You do not have the authority to do that!" he hissed "I'm the Commander here, not you."

"You were our commander." Connington smirked "However the soldiers and I had a bit of a talk while you were taking contracts with the Slavers and they decided that you're not fit to be our commander."

"I was elected as Commander after Myles Toyne died!" Strickland snapped

"They did but you were a good leader back then." Connington stated "Now look at you, you're weak, many of us are exiles from Westeros and we have a hatred of Slavery and here you are taking contracts with Slavers. Well we decided that we've had enough of it. And it was time for someone else to lead us." Before anyone could react, Connington's dagger was thrust into Strickland's chest. Strickland gasped as the attack was unexpected. The next few seconds went quickly and Balaq's arrow found it's mark in Watkyn's back when he tried to make a run for it.

Strickland collapsed to the ground with Connington's dagger still in his chest and he coughed up blood. He was coughing for a few seconds before he fell silent.

"That it then." Balaq stated "Strickland is dead."

"But we still have to take the city." Connington stated "Now we should go back out there and help our men take the city."

Connington and Balaq then went outside where there was a lot of fighting and they joined in their men along with Travis' men to capture the city of Tolos.

Winterfell: The North:

Robb Stark had gathered his sisters, brothers, wife and mother in the Winterfell's Great Hall. Master of Arms Rodrik Cassel was there along with Maester Luwin.

"So you all know why I've called you here?" Robb questioned

"It's to talk about our future." Sansa stated

Robb nodded "We know that the best way to unite the North is through marriage which is why Domeric will be coming here soon for the marriage. As the sister of the Warden of the North, Sansa will be marrying here."

"Will Domeric like me?" Sansa questioned, she was unsure of marriage after what happened with Joffrey.

Robb smiled at her "I fought alongside Domeric in the Civil War. He's a good man, his father may be cunning and power hungry but Domeric is a good man. The two of you will come to love each other; he's not one to take advantage of women."

Catelyn smiled at her daughter "I'm starting to see my children grow up." She said and looked at Arya "Soon it will be your turn."

Arya angrily shook her head "I will not marry and no one will make me, no man will lay their hands on me and treat me as their trophy." That made Bran and Rickon laugh while Catelyn gave her a stern look but Arya ignored it.

Eventually Robb started talking again "I've also received a Raven from Commander Mormont, the aid we've given him is valuable but he's begun looking elsewhere for aid. Apparently Jon has been sent to check out a possible lead."

"I also received a raven from Lord Manderly" Luwin stated "He says that Jon and a small group took passage to the island of Solstheim in the Shivering Sea, what he plans to look for there are unknown currently."

"Right now we have to plan for Sansa's wedding." Robb stated and he looked at Rodrik "I want Winterfell security to be strong, the Civil War may be over but with these Fanatic Cults running around, we cannot allow ourselves to be caught unaware."

"I'll have all of the guards checked thoroughly in order to make sure we have no spies." Rodrik stated

"Do that." Robb stated "And I still need to make plans for the Wedding Guests, this job was much easier when Vayon Poole was around and our new steward is not as good as he was."

"You're doing just fine." Jeyne stated as she placed her hand on her husband's shoulder "This Wedding will go just fine, you worry too much sometimes husband."

Robb smiled and kissed his wife "Maybe I do sometimes." He said.

Roseroad: The Reach:

The Roseroad was one of the main roads in the Reach. The Road was connected to the Kingsroad and started at the Kingswood and travelled west past Bitterbridge before heading south towards Highgarden At Highgarden, the Roseroad connected to the Ocean Road which went north towards Lannisport while the Roseroad carried on south and ended at Oldtown. This was the main connection between King's Landing and the Reach and was the road that nobles from the Reach used when they travelled to King's Landing.

Lady Alessia Tyrell along with Ser Loras Tyrell were riding their horses along the Roseroad towards King's Landing along with a few Tyrell Guards. They had past Bitterbridge and should be at King's Landing within a few days since they could travel fast with a small group.

Alessia looked at Loras "Hey, you should keep your habits down while we're in King's Landing."

Loras looked at her "What habits?" he questioned

"You know what I mean." Alessia stated "What you do when you're not fighting."

Loras blushed, he knew what Alessia was talking about, how he preferred the company of men in bed than woman. But Loras didn't want to admit that "I don't know what you're talking about."

Alessia sighed "Yes you do." She stated "Now my brother and your brother might not care about that but these Fanatics hate people like you. We can't afford for any more trouble so please don't do what I'm talking about until my brother as dealt with these fanatics."

Loras sighed as a result "I'll try my best." He stated

Alessia nodded but then her horse suddenly stopped and started rearing up with made Alessia stroke her horse's mane "Hey calm down girl, what's wrong?" She got her answered when an arrow suddenly flew out of nowhere and struck one of the guards. Then several attacks suddenly appeared from the nearby hill.

"AMBUSH!" the Tyrell Guard captain shouted and he along with the others drew their sword "My lady get out of here!"

Loras rode over to her "Come on my Lady, we have to get out of here!" He along with Alessia quickly used their horses to ride away and got away from the attackers. But then they found their path blocked by a couple of hooded figures.

"Move!" Loras ordered as he drew his sword "You've blocking the wife of the Lord of Highgarden!"

The leading man sneered and lowered his hood to reveal a man with a balding head "Dawn is breaking." He stated "And we have plans for you." His hand suddenly glowed and he sent a ball which struck Loras and made him fall off his horse. Alessia turned to ride away but then the man's hand glowed orange and he suddenly pulled Alessia off her horse and she struck the ground hard which knocked her out. The man and his companions walked over to her and smirked "Sleep my Lady, you'll be important in making sure your brother does not interfere with our plans."

One of the other hooded figures looked at the man "What do we do now Hans?" he questioned

The man known as Hans looked at him "I'll be taking the Princess and the Knight to the Sparrows, they'll make life difficult for the King, you lot need to take care of the rest of those guards, leave no survivors, we can't allow word of this to get out."

"Understood Hans." The hooded members stated and then they went off to join the others except for one who stayed and picked up the fallen body of Loras while Hans picked up Alessia. Then they both waved their hands and the two of them created a portal to take

"Now we have our prisoners, let's see what you do next King Martin." Hans said to himself as he walked through the portal.

Chapter End:

Author Notes: Another chapter has been complete and now the Sparrows and the Golden Company have made their moves. The Sparrows have very underestimated Martin and his position as he is very popular and most people in the city don't really care for religious fanatics, they care for food and a better chance at life which Martin has given them so the commoners were more likely to resist the Sparrows than support them. Martin's city guard is also loyal and better trained so they were able to fight the Sparrows and prevent them from taking control of the city but that doesn't mean that they are a danger. In the next chapter. Another thing, I did change the name of this chapter as it was meant to be called Raven Rock as Jon was meant to arrive at Raven Rock but I decided that it would be too quickly since it would take a while to sail from White Harbour to Raven Rock which is located in the Shiverring Sea. In the next chapter, the consequences of this chapter will be shown but I plan to work on a chapter of my Dragon-X story since I haven't updated that one in a while.
