Foreword:
This is basically an alternate version of an idea I have been playing around with since I first read plum's Wizard Runemaster story along with a few other Harry Potter and World of Warcraft Crossover stories. The idea is that Harry Potter during his early childhood somehow manages teleport himself to the world of Azeroth, most specifically just outside Dalaran, where he is then taken in by Archmage Antonidas and his apprentice Jaina Proudmoore. Over time Jaina becomes a mother figure to the young refugee from Earth before finally being officially adopted by Jaina a few years later. When the Third War begins Harry, now known as Harrison Proudmoore had been staying with his family in Kul Tiras getting to know his Uncle Tandred and other family members. When Jaina goes to sail to Kalimdor she arrives at Kul Tiras to get ships and crew for the journey however her father refuses to give her the needed ships instead she grabs Harry and any who would follow her before somehow managing to get the ships needed. She leaves Harry and a small force at the site of the future Theramoore Isle before heading off to take part in the final battles of the Third War. After the end of the war she continues to raise Harry and lead Theramoore when finally Harry is called back to Earth via the Goblet of Fire as he tries to return to Theramoore after a mission he had been on.
Since he lived his life in Azeroth he is a bit older then he would be on Earth due to the time differences between the two worlds. In Azeroth he is just shy of sixteen and had been on his first mission alone while on Earth he is only a few months from his fourteenth birthday. Even then he still takes part in the Tri-Wizard Tournament since he believes that the Goblet of Fire may be able to send back home in Azeroth after the end of the Tournament. During the course of the Tournament the locals try to make him stay on Earth including Dumbledore and a few of his followers. Even then he still makes friends with a few of the Hogwarts students and gets to know the reminder of his Earth family like Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. He also meets Mark Evans a distant relative of his birth mother's family and someone he remembers from his time at the Dursleys. Later during the Tournament his mother to finally manage to transport to Earth along with a small army of her troops to retrieve Harry. This does see conflict between Dumbledore and Jaina Proudmoore which does sound pretty darn sweet in my opinion.
That said, originally this idea was completely different with Harry being older when he arrives back on Earth. He also jumped to Azeroth a bit older around ten or so and the time difference between the two worlds is quite different making him a lot older then this new idea. He also is raised alongside both Arthas and Jaina which does see him start a relationship with Jaina after the end of the Third War. Instead being mother and son like this newer idea. Not to mention I also have added a few other ideas in that Harry had been playing Warmachine during his time on Earth therefore when he arrives on Azeroth he tries to duplicate much from the game mostly that of the Gun Mages which sees him as a leader of a Azeroth version of the Order of the Arcane Tempest which becomes the elite of Theramoore Isle. Harry also becomes the Lord of the Isle counterpart to Jaina's title of Lady of the Isle. When he arrives on Earth he isn't alone and instead sports a small force of his troops with him.
However this story shall follow the first idea in that Harry is raised as Harrison Proudmoore, son and heir of Lady Jaina Proudmoore. Therefore please enjoy this little slice of a larger story that may be written at a later time. Thank you.

Headmaster's Office
Hogwarts, Scotland
United Kingdom, Earth
June 28, 1994 A.D
In his large office the tall figure of Headmaster Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore stood observing the tiny trinkets that laid on one of his office's many shelfs. Unlike several other notable trinkets and such spread across his office this series of trinkets where quite different for they were linked to the young boy that he believed to be the Child of Prophecy that would save this world from the latest Dark Lord. These varied different trinkets would display a variety of different information about the boy including his health, a reading of his magical core, his location and several other notable pieces of information about the child. However they all have been silent since that horrid day almost a decade before when the Child of Prophecy, Harry James Potter, had just disappeared from his family's home without a single trace. The only trinket that still operated was the once monitoring the boy's health which had only showed that he was alive and in good health wherever he happened to be.
For the first few years after the boy's disappearance Dumbledore had looked all over the world for the boy but had little luck in his search. After those first few years he then simply put off the search as several other matters drew his attention. Now with the Dark Lord Voldermort once again on the move during the last three years they needed the Child of Prophecy back or the Dark Lord may win the coming war. First the Dark Lord had tried to steal the mythical Philosophers Stone from Dumbledore's protection at Hogwarts by possessing one of the teachers as a wraith, thankfully the wraith possessed man didn't even get close to the Stone. This was mainly due to Dumbledore creating a fake stone and putting it at an end of a sort of obstacle course with the real Stone locked safely in the Headmaster's office. Then after failing to steal the Stone the wraith of the Dark Lord left Britain behind once more in an effort to gather himself for another attempt to return to life. Even then while the Dark Lord was no longer in the country it didn't stop one of the man's old followers dropping a cursed object onto one of the school's incoming new students. This cursed object almost allowed a teenaged version of the Dark Lord to return to life and had almost ended getting several of the school's students killed. It was only when one of the school's perfects noticed the object in the possession of his younger sister and reporting it to the Headmaster that prevented any further troubles.
Then finally there was last year that while didn't have the Dark Lord, any form of him, doing anything still was quite a hassle. Mainly due to the traitor of the Potters all those years ago and top lieutenant of the Dark Lord, Sirius Black, ending up breaking out of prison before the start of the school year which put the entire country on alert. Then later during the school year it was reported that Sirius Black was heading for Hogwarts and security increased at the school as a result. Even then Black somehow still managed to get into the school and attacking one of the school's portraits that guarded the entrance of one the school's dormitories. Finally the entire fiasco ended on Halloween night of 1993 when a student witnessed an unknown man fire a curse at the student's pet cat. This would soon lead to the reveal that Sirius Black had been innocent all along and the unknown man, one Peter Pettigrew, had been the true traitor during that Halloween night twelve years before. Sirius Black was then excused of any wrong doing and all charges dropped making him a free man.
Following that ordeal the rest of the school year was quite tame in comparison besides an angry Sirius Black, upon finding out that his godson Harry Potter had disappeared, would blame the Headmaster for the disappearance. However by the summer Dumbledore had started to hear dark whispers of the Dark Lord on the move once more which would lead him to once again try to find Harry Potter once more but all efforts where fruitless just like years before. However while the Headmaster wasn't sure how they could find the child he did have a beginning of a plan to find the boy using other means.
The aged headmaster turned slightly to look upon his desk and the simple wooden cup that sat on it. Before he turned to look at the two men sitting in the chairs in front of his desk, one of which was reading a thick tome the other spending his time either glaring at the headmaster or looking over at his companion with a worried expression on his face. The first man with light brown hair sprinkled with gray and hazel eyes was reading with a pinched expression that pulled on scars gracing the man's face. The second man sported black hair and grey eyes which were crinkled in some slight distaste as he turned to eye the first man with a worried expression on his face.
"Well Remus?" the second man finally asked breaking the silence that graced the office since the other man had started to read the large tome which made the man quite uneasy. The first man, Remus Lupin, blinked at this before looking over at the other man with an irritated look on his face.
"I am just getting there Sirius but from what I have read it does look like the Headmaster is quite correct about the Goblet," Remus replied making the second man, Sirius Black, nod with a slight flinch at his annoyed tone before turning and eying the bemused looking old man with a bit of suspicion. He then turned to look down at the simple-looking cup that graced the old man's desk with some interest in his gaze for he like the Headmaster had spent the last several months since being declared innocent trying to find any hint of his godson, but like the older man had no luck at all. Now the Headmaster had mentioned he had the start of plan to find Harry and this simple cup was the lynchpin of the entire plan to bring his godson back. However one part of the plan worried him and he turned back to stare at the old man with a narrowed eyes.
"If I remember my childhood lessons right Dumbledore if Harry's name comes out of the Goblet then he has to participate in this new Tri-Wizard Competition you are trying to revive or he will lose his magic which is something I really don't want happen to Harry either losing his magic or participating in that damn Tournament. Since people have died during the past Tri-Wizard Competitions after all and if we do get him back I don't want to lose him soon after that," Sirius mentioned with a slight anger-fueled glare at the man.
"It is simple my boy we then call the Competition due to the failure of our new rules and then relight the Goblet to choose three new Champions therefore releasing young Harry from participating," the Headmaster mentioned with a glowing look on his face making Sirius growl slightly at the man's superior sounding response. However he was stopped from doing anything when Remus closed the large tome with a thud and laid a supporting hand on the shoulder of the other man.
"He is right Padfoot it is pretty simple," Remus mentioned with a small smile making Sirius perk up slightly at this mostly at the mentioning his nickname before nodding in agreement with his best friend.
"Alright old man let's do this," Sirius said finally as he looked up at the Headmaster making the old man smile response before clapping his hands in delight before he started to go over arrangements with the two men on what was going to happen in the coming months. However unknown to the two younger men Dumbledore had other plans running in his mind for he need to be in control of the boy for it was for the greater good after all.

The Great Hall
Hogwarts, Scotland
United Kingdom, Earth
October 31, 1994 AD
A few months later found the entire student body of Hogwarts plus the various students drawn from the two other schools participating in the revived Tri-Wizard Tournament as well guests from across the Wizarding World watching the green fire coming out of the Goblet Fire with baited breath. After a moment the fire flickered and a piece of slightly burnt paper flew out of the fire which was quickly snatched up by Headmaster Dumbledore from his position standing next to the pedestal that the Goblet was sitting on. The old man quickly looked down at the piece of paper before nodding and looking over the packed Great Hall.
"For Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory!" he proudly announced to the hall making the entire Hall erupted in applause and cheering with the majority of the celebration coming from one of the four larger tables in the hall. A tall young man stood up from this table with a proud look on his face before making his way towards the front of the hall. Dumbledore quickly shook the young man's hand before waving towards the other two young people that stood patiently behind him on the raised dais he was standing on. The young man simply nodded at this with a large grin on his face before taking his spot next to a young pretty looking blond girl in light blue robes. Dumbledore then turned his attention back to the still cheering crowd before suddenly the entire hall went dead silent as the fire in the Goblet once more flickered and spit out a fourth piece of burnt paper into the air. The Headmaster with a confused look on his face grabbed the paper before looking down at it and shook his in shock before looking back up at the waiting crowd.
"Harry Potter!" he called out much to the extreme shock of the entire crowd in the Great Hall which went even more silent if that was possible. After a few moments the old man blinked and quickly tapped the Goblet with the tip of his hand.
"As a Judge and Headmaster of a Participating School I call upon the Goblet of Fire to transport Champion Harry Potter so he can participate in the Tri-Wizard Tournament," he spoke in a clear and concise voice that broke the dead silence that gripped the entire Great Hall. At the corner of the old man's eyes he could see the figures of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black leaning forward eagerly in their seats at the large guest table next to the staff table before he turned to his attention to Goblet just in time to see the green fire flare up in a roaring tower of fire that was almost as tall as the Great Hall's Ceiling. Dumbledore winced at the heat from the fire but kept his attention on the tower of fire which soon started to shrink before a small green flame detached from the now dying tower of fire where it landed in front of the Goblet's pedestal before it quickly expanded until a second smaller tower of flames existed in front of the pedestal though not burning the wooden raised dais.
From these flames a figure appeared before the flames suddenly died out leaving the figure standing in its spot. The appearance of this figure made more than one person in the hall gasp in shock for the figure was a tall young man with messy black hair and faintly glowing green eyes. He wore a simple gray and silver metal breast plate which had a weird anchor looking symbol emblazed on it in gold over his chest, while his dark blue pants sported even more metal plates covering his thighs and ankles, and the ends of the pants tucked into armored boots covering his feet. Over it all he wore a long white and silver great coat with the hilt of a sheathed sword peeking out from the depths of the large coat. On the figures face a scar could be seen crossing over his cheek and stopping just underneath his eye which like its twin was looking around the crowded Great Hall in confusion. The figure blinked before looking down at the weird looking stone he held in one armored hand then looking back up at the still silent crowd watching him in shock.
"Well Fel! This sure isn't Theramore Tower," the figure said with a grunt which was the fuel that made the crowd erupt in noise once more for Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, was now back and before them now.

Alright this is only a small peek into the larger story idea of Harrison Proudmoore and the Goblet of Fire. Basically it is only to get a general idea on what I am planning with this story in the near future. That said I hope you all enjoyed it for it is quite different from my original idea, as well as other Harry Potter/World of Warcraft Crossover Stories that I have seen out there.
Harrison's garb featured here is heavily based on that of Lieutenant Allister Caine from the Warmachine Miniature Game just modified with the coat white and silver instead of brown, and the armor plates grayish silver with the chest plate sporting a golden anchor emblazed on it as a nod to Harrison being a member of the Proudmoore family. This is of course a carryover from my old story idea which had Harry basing himself on Caine due to him being the boy's favorite character in Warmachine when he started playing right before he was sent into Azeroth. Now that is the only really thing I am carrying over from the Warmachine Cross therefore don't expect anything from the game to be included in the story I am sorry to say.
A couple last things to mention before I close this idea, first Fel is a popular alternative curse word in Warcraft Roleplaying therefore expect Harrison to use a few other Warcraft inspired curses if I go with this idea. The next is that I am sure I am going to get questions about this character or this character. Since besides Sirius, Remus, and Albus we don't see another further Harry Potter character in here. Also since in other alternative fanfic stories where Harry is not Hogwarts certain events are different like Ginny dying in the Chamber of Secrets and Hermione getting killed or injured by the Troll in first year. Well I did leave some clues to this in the recollection Albus was doing at the beginning of the Chapter. However I shall say it bluntly that any canon character will not be killed during the first three years of Hogwarts due to events that happen in the books that could have killed them. I could have killed a character off or two but like mentioned this has been done before therefore I decided to keep them alive. Though granted they may be different from what they are in the books different series of events.
That said one final thing I recently managed to find and read Hero by Leonais Frostwind which has Harry being physically abused heavily by the Dursleys during his early childhood which sees him transporting himself to Azeroth right before the start of the Third War. He is then found by Prince Arthas and later adopted by him which leads him to fully marrying Jaina later on. I was shocked about it for that is a bit similar to how I envisioned how Harry gets to Azeroth though the abuse is not as potent as it would have been in Hero as in my version he would still be a broken child when he first arrives. Also Arthas wouldn't have anything to do with raising Harry and it is all Jaina along with Antonidas later Tandred Proudmoore. This is mainly because I am not a fan of Arthas even before becoming the monster we now know him as after he gets Frostmourne. I really don't know why I do but he just rubs me the wrong way through the first missions in Warcraft 3 and some of the background material I read about him. I am sorry I have pissed a few people off about it but that is my opinion therefore please no comments on this.
Alright that is about it for this story idea one of which I hope the readers will enjoy and want a bit more. Till then…
