This is another Will POV chapter, there may be Nico ones later on.
Will POV
I threw my bookbag down on the floor of my room and flopped onto my bed so dramatically I heard laughing on the other side of the room. I shared a room with my brother Austin, who was younger than me by a year. He was laughing as he stood up and imitated my entrance. (He made it a lot more dramatic and made a lot more huffing noises than I had when I did it, just saying.)
"So, Will, what's with the entrance?"
"So, we got a new seating chart in English today, right?" I said, starting the story. Austin nodded.
"I now sit in the back of the class with..." I paused dramatically... "Nico di freaking Angelo."
Austin looked at me weird. "Just that? You're getting all drama queen about that?!" He exclaimed, looking at me like I was the most overdramatic person ever.
"No, no there's more, listen."
"Wait. Let me guess." Austin put his hands up quickly in what looked like a jazz hands move. I rolled my eyes, knowing Austin was about to do the absolute most extra thing.
Austin stood up and walked to the far end of the room, "Nico walked into the room with his emo clothes wrapped tight around his '4' feet tall or however tall he is body and walked slowly towards you," Austin said as he wrapped his green jacket around himself tightly and walked back over to where I was sitting, meanwhile taking big, slow steps.
"Then he looked at you with his glare," he said as he turned his head sharply. "And now you are scared of him," he finished as he sat down.
"Okay thanks for that, can I tell you what actually happened now?" I responded. Sometimes I wasn't quite sure what to do with Austin.
"What DID happen was I was I got seated next to him and then the teacher announced that we would have a project on Greek gods and that we would have to work with our shoulder partners, Aka Nico, and so we each were assigned a god and so I tried to talk to him about the project and..."
"He ignored you?" Austin interrupted.
"No, he pretended not to hear what I was saying so I was just like telling him what god we got, and he just was like 'Oh, you've got a parking ticket?' like I can't even drive. He isn't even shy he is just a pain in the..."
Austin interrupted again. "What god?"
"Really, I told you all that and that is all you got out of it?"
"No, just what god it is important. Now which one?"
"That's really not relevant. Anyway..."
"Which one? I'm not listening to anything else you say until you tell me."
"Fine, Aphrodite."
Austin was now rolling on the bed laughing so hard he wasn't making any noise.
"Austin what is so funny about that?" I asked, even though at this point I was laughing too. We sat there just laughing about the whole thing for what felt like hours until Austin pulled himself together.
"In all seriousness, what are you going to do about the project?" Austin asked me.
"I'll try to talk to him again and see if he'll do anything. If not, I'll do the whole thing."
"How long is the thing?" Austin asked
"What thing?!"
"The project, dummy."
"Oh, yeah, we have all week to work on it, but Mr. Blofis said we might have to get together after school to work on it too, so I am assuming it's pretty long." I responded.
"Well, if Nico refuses to help, I'll help in any way I can, and I'm sure our other siblings will too."
"Thanks bro," I said gratefully.
"No problem, but hopefully you can convince di Angelo to help."
"Yeah right, like that'll ever happen." I said bitterly.
"Did you say you got a parking ticket?" Austin asked with a smirk on his face.
"Oh, shut up."
There's chapter two, review and tell me if you liked it or if there is stuff I can fix. Thanks for reading!
