"HUSSY!"
Myrtenaster pierced through a Beowulf's eye.
"SKANK!"
Gambol Shroud decapitated an Ursa.
"HARLOT!"
Glyphs launched a Nevermore through a wall.
"WHORE!"
A whip strangled a Boarbatusk to death.
Ruby winced as more expletives rang out around them. She looked apologetically at Doctor Oobleck who only watched on with wide eyes.
"Well now….I certainly did not expect your team to be this…spirited."
"I'm sorry, Professor-"
"-Doctor. And don't be sorry. They are doing wonderfully!"
"They are?! They really aren't usually like this!" Ruby perks up at that before looking at Doctor Oobleck nervously as she holds Zwei in her hands.
Bark!
Zwei barked as Yang snorted in agreement.
"You mean screaming in utter murderous rage? Yeah, that's usually my schtick." Yang added, shrugging as she stood guard beside them while still watching the spectacle in front of them.
"It's efficient though. By the rate we are going and as long as we are careful, we might not need to stay more than a few days before our job is done!" Doctor Oobleck pointed out excitedly and Ruby only gasped at that.
The less time they needed to finish the mission, the more time they could have looking for Uncle Qrow!
"Come on, Yang! Let's go in so we can look for Uncle Qrow-" Ruby shook excitedly and she was just about to join in when Weiss and Blake renewed their shouts.
"DID YOU SEE HOW CLOSE SHE WAS TRYING TO BE WITH JAUNE?!" Weiss shouted as she kicked an Alpha Beowulf towards Blake's direction.
"I SURE DID!" Blake answered as she slashed the Alpha Beowulf in two.
"THE SLUT!"
"HOMEWRECKER!"
"Ah, on second thought. Maybe we should let them cool off a little?" She winces unsuredly, getting a snort from her sister and a chuckle from Doctor Oobleck.
"Good plan, Ms. Rose. It is never a good idea to spend the strength of your whole team in one engagement when out in the field. If you can spare it, make sure to have scheduled shifts for fighting and resting."
"R-Right! Thanks Doctor Oobleck!"
"So what do we do now? Do we just stand around and wait for them to be tired?" Yang asked.
"Hardly, we make sure they aren't flanked." Doctor Oobleck answered, shooting off one of the dive bombing Nevermores before continuing. "Have someone looking out for incoming Grimm and make sure to warn us if something too big comes our way. We should always be ready to bolt if things get too tough."
"Sooo cool." Ruby whispered in awe as stars formed in her eyes before shaking her head and perking up.
It was hard to remember Doctor Oobleck was a licensed Huntsman during his lectures but here in the field?! Well, he showed his experience!
Finally! They were finally doing Huntress things while learning from a seasoned Huntsman!
"Got it! I'll provide a lookout! Yang, make sure to back up Weiss and Blake when they get tired or overwhelmed! If Grimm still keeps coming in half an hour then I say we retreat and recuperate!" Ruby shouted enthusiastically, surveying the drop zone the Bullhead left them at.
Abandoned buildings littered around the plaza they were at as the Grimm rushed through the roads to get to them.
"Alright! Finally, some action!" Yang grinned, cocking her fists as Doctor Oobleck twirled his weapon beside her.
"Excellent, Ms. Rose. Make sure not to go too far and have Zwei with you, he looks like he can handle himself in a fight."
BARK!
Zwei barked excitedly as Ruby giddily dropped him to the ground.
"Thanks, Doctor Oobleck!"
"In the meantime, I will secure our escape path. Now, Team RWBY go!"
And just like that, Ruby rushed with Zwei up one of the surrounding buildings and provided overwatch on her team below her.
Crescent Rose, in sniper form, shot down more than one Nevermore trying to swoop down onto her teammates while Zwei protected Ruby herself from any Grimm trying to go their way.
Now this was life! Their team working together does beat back the forces of darkness!
She grinned as she looked at the roads leading to the plaza down below. Mostly, it's just Beowulves and a couple of Ursae charging towards her team but a couple of Boarbatusks and Deathstalkers of varying size have started arriving.
Nothing they can't handle just yet but Blake and Weiss were certainly attracting a lot more than they expected. It took 10 more minutes of fighting and ranting for her teammates to tire out and for Ruby and her sister to substitute for them.
Though the Grimm were still more attracted to them, Blake and Weiss stuck close to Doctor Oobleck as Yang and Ruby fought on.
Crescent Rose slashed through a pack of Beowulves as Ember Cilica decimated Ursae and Boarbatusks alike. Even Zwei fought together with them, leaping and jumping while ripping off Nevermore wings from them.
It took another 15 minutes after that before they had to run and that was only because a Goliath started ambling towards their direction.
It took them 30 more minutes of running and hiding for them to feel confident in their safety while hiding in one of the residential apartment complexes. No Grimm were in sight as her team panted heavily in one of the rooms while Doctor Oobleck and Zwei guarded the entrance to the building and swept the perimeter.
"Al…right team! That…that was a good start! But I wanna see more next time! More focus, more teamwork, and more team attacks! That means no rushing forward and fighting on your own! Got it?!" Ruby gathered her breath and put her hands on her hips with a smile on her face as she looked at Blake and Weiss.
To their credit, Blake and Weiss looked guiltily back at her, finally aware how careless they had been and how their negativity unnecessarily lured more Grimm towards them.
"S-Sorry! I-I was just..uhm…" Weiss stuttered, leaning against a wall as she looked away embarrassedly.
"Jealous. We were jealous. Damn that Cinder woman." Blake finished flatly, sitting down on the floor near Weiss' feet as she looked at Ruby and Yang from across her.
Ruby only giggled as she saw Blake's cat ears flatten as an involuntary hiss came out of her mouth. She hopes her friend forgives her for thinking this but looking like this, she really looked like a cat!
Was that racist? Ruby did not know but one thing she was sure of was that if she knew that the secret to kicking her teammates into shape was making them jealous then she should have invited Cinder to their friend group sooner!
The word like would be a bit too much right now but Ruby didn't really hate Cinder like how her teammates were hating her now!
While Emerald and Mercury's team leader was a bit snobbish, she wasn't really that much worse than Weiss was and look where she and her bestie were now!
The best of friends.
Heck! Cinder wasn't even as mean to her like Weiss was! Sure, they were both haughty but her bestie was way more pricklier than Cinder! At least Cinder only ignored her!
And it was with that thought in mind that Ruby was pretty sure that if she could befriend Weiss then Cinder was going to be easy!
The only problem was getting her team on board with it. Ruby really didn't get why they were jealous of Cinder. She understands the emotion of course. She herself was jealous of Blake and Pyrrha but that was because she thought they were taking Jaune away as her best friend, which by the way, did not happen! She was still Jaune's best friend and no one was going to take that position away from her!
No, what she did not understand was why Blake and possibly Pyrrha were jealous of Cinder considering they were the ones who wanted to grow the harem in the first place. Was that not the point? Growing the harem? Heck, Ruby herself was mainly just open to joining Jaune's harem because Blake and Pyrrha were pushy about it while part of her was curious about what was so good about being with Jaune that would make Weiss go crazy about it.
So yeah, Ruby didn't understand why Blake was so jealous and she was not the only one wondering.
"Jealous, you say?" Yang tilted her head at that before continuing. "I get Weiss because she even got jealous with Ruby but I thought you were above this, Blake."
"Hey! I-I was not jealous!" Weiss screeched immediately with a blush on her face but Blake only snorted at her denial.
"You were, Weiss. You even used our safeword to stop him and Ruby from flirting with each other."
Ruby flushed at being called out even as Weiss looked awkwardly away from her.
Usually, girls were jealous of Yang because the boys always looked at her so it was still a little surprising to learn that Weiss got jealous of her. Ruby was never the one to be the one people were jealous of but hearing and experiencing Weiss' jealousy firsthand gave her complicated feelings.
She might not have wanted to hurt her best friend in the first place but to be seen as someone to be jealous of? It may or may not have increased her pride as a woman. She couldn't help but feel a little bit giddy that people saw her as someone desirable enough that their boyfriend would look her way.
Still, as much as how exciting it might have felt, Ruby could not help but remember the worry she had when she thought Weiss hated her. Thankfully, they managed to resolve everything and there were no bad feelings involved other than Weiss being ashamed of her own reaction.
"Yeah, as much as you guys having a safeword sounds kinky, that still didn't answer my question. Why were you so jealous of Cinder, Blake?" Yang asked and everyone looked at Blake who scowled at the question.
"Other than me being acknowledged in public as Jaune's girlfriend and Cinder still having the audacity to slither closer to my boyfriend? Nothing. Nothing except there's only one room for one black-haired, amber-eyed beauty in this harem."
Ruby gaped. Yang gaped. Weiss shrieked as she snapped towards Blake.
"That's it?! That's your reason?! How shallow could you be?!"
Blake hissed, leaning away from Weiss as she rubbed her ringing cat ears.
"Did you not hear me say something about Cinder's audacity on approaching an already taken man?! Come on, Weiss! Any woman who does that is a snake!"
Weiss reeled back at Blake's reply before looking down on the ground awkwardly.
"Oh. I…see. Forgive me."
"It's fine. You're new to this. The point is, Cinder is a snake and she is bad news." Blake sighed before finishing her words with narrowed eyes.
Yet something about those words did not sit right with Ruby. A woman liking a man who was already taken. It sounded pretty familiar to her and it wasn't just the kind of familiar that she sees on TV or anywhere else kind of familiar. This felt personal.
"Come on, guys. She's probably not that bad." She says with a light frown on her face.
Yang shakes her head at her however.
"No, Rubes, Blake is right. Any woman who is angling to swipe an already taken man is bad news."
It is then that it hits Ruby. She finally knew what was bothering her about their hostility with Cinder.
"So are you saying mom is bad news, Yang?" Ruby asks her sister with a raised eyebrow.
It was at that moment did it also hit Yang Xiao long. Summer Rose, the super mom who took Raven's place, angled herself to get with a married man.
Yang's eyes widened as she rushed to stutter a reply.
"O-Of course not! This and that are two different things!"
"What? What is it?" Blake tilted her head at them as the two sisters engaged each other in a staring contest.
"Summer Rose, our mom, liked our dad while he was already taken. She swooped right in to get with our dad when Yang's bio-mom left." Ruby answered with pursed lips but Yang only snorted at her.
"See how different it is, Ruby? Summer waited till Raven left before getting with dad. Cinder is already trying to swoop in while Jaune's still with Blake, Weiss, and Pyrrha."
Her eye twitched at that.
"So are you saying I shouldn't have been born if Raven never left?" The words left her mouth before he could even think about them as both her and Yang's eyes widened instantly while Blake and Weiss looked at them worriedly.
"Woah, woah, woah! I'm not saying anything like that!" Yang denied immediately with a rapid shake of her head.
Ruby however, only sighed at that.
"I know, Yang, it's just that I know how much Raven leaving affects you. If she didn't, you'd be happy-"
"I'm happy now." Yang interrupted, suddenly laying a hand on Ruby's shoulder for comfort.
She only laughed softly at that.
"I know, Yang, but wouldn't you be happier if Raven never left and became a mother to you?" Ruby asks as she puts a finger on her sister's mouth just as she opens them. "I know you'll say you'll be happier now but just think about it. In a world where Raven never left, the only way I would be born is if mom somehow gets with dad and I'd rather that be with Raven's blessing so we can still be a family."
Yang looked into her eyes at that before sighing heavily. A glint enters her eyes however when she pulls Ruby's finger down.
"That. Or you could be Uncle Qrow's secret love child." Yang jokes to lighten the mood, even going so far as to wiggle her eyebrows.
Ruby however only groans loudly at that.
"Ugh, please don't remind me. We can ask him about that when we find him sometime this week. Headmaster Ozpin told me his mission was just around here."
"Uncle Qrow's here?!" Yang's eyes widened at that.
"Yeah, yeah, he's here." Ruby only waved her hand casually before narrowing her eyes at Yang. "And don't change the subject. The point is, I think we should give Cinder a chance."
"Fine, fine. It's not like I'm the one directly involved in this anyway." Yang huffed at that before a proud smile grew on her face. "Since when did my sister get so mature anyway?"
"Probably when I became your team leader, but you are right." She laughed before turning back to the rest of her team with a smile on her face. "Blake, Weiss, no fighting with Cinder."
"But, Ruby, we don't even know her! We're practically strangers!" Weiss whined and Ruby smirked as she had the perfect counter to that.
"Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet, you know? What would you do if Jaune actually likes her?"
She heard Blake groan heavily at that as Weiss began to stutter.
"If Jaune actually likes her? Then I don't really know. We can't really do anything but do you think Jaune would actually do something that any of us aren't comfortable with?" Blake shrugs tiredly, putting a hand to her chin thoughtfully.
Ruby nodded at that but a thought came to mind.
"I know he wouldn't want to make any of us uncomfortable but are we just going to guilt trip Jaune into not doing something because we aren't comfortable with it?"
"We? I didn't know you already joined the harem, Ruby." Weiss pointed out with a raised eyebrow to which Ruby only rolled her eyes.
"You know what I mean, Weiss."
"Right, right. It is still provisional on the condition he seduces you when you are older." Weiss nodded as Ruby blushed lightly.
"Can we not talk about my sister getting seduced? Just because I'm okay with it doesn't mean I like hearing it." Yang pouted, crossing her arms under her chest with a pout on her face.
"Regardless, we have to talk about things a lot but an agreement must be reached regarding Cinder Fall. What do we do with her?" Blake cleared her throat, pulling back the conversation to their main subject.
Cinder Fall.
"I mean…do we even have to do anything?" Ruby shrugged as Weiss frowned at her.
"We'd have to. Pyrrha doesn't seem to like her either."
"Yeah, and she actually has to watch while Cinder tries to simper to Jaune." Yang pointed out, causing Blake and Weiss to scowl at her for that reminder.
"What do you think they are doing now?" Blake asked with pursed lips as everyone fell silent.
What, indeed. Ruby wonders to herself just like the rest of her team.
The moment Cinder entered the orphanage, all her bravery fled her. Orphans and criminals like her, Emerald, and Mercury were ill-equipped to deal with a group of rambunctious children.
"Alright, kids! These are Huntsmen and Huntresses from Beacon partnering with the police today so be good, okay?" An elderly matron called out to which a sudden gaggle of children answered as one.
"""YES, MS. MADELINE!"""
Captain Roger, the police officer guiding them, nodded at their group.
"We leave them now to you."
And that was that.
She saw the captain move to speak with the matron of the house while Pyrrha Nikos got pulled away by Lisa Lavender to a private corner.
What the reporter Lisa Lavender was doing here before she even knew Pyrrha Nikos was going to be here, Cinder did not know but it left them in an unfortunate predicament.
Without someone recognizable and famous as Pyrrha Nikos, it fell to the rest of them to greet the children. Children who suddenly charged at their group excitedly. Cinder froze for a moment, unsure of the perfect response to such a situation but luckily for her, Jaune's team was already moving into action.
Jaune met them with an easy smile and loud laughter while his teammate Lie Ren pulled Nora Valkyrie away to look for the kitchen. Cinder heard Mercury mutter they were just going to do nasty stuff but she was too busy looking at the orphans to care about his words.
Jaune might have taken the brunt of the litter, which Cinder was grateful for, but he did not manage to take the rest of them.
Cinder's eye twitched as one of the orphans touched her hand.
"Are you really a Huntress?!" A six year-old Mouse Faunus with large ears asked but before Cinder could answer, he was already looking at her skeptically.
"You don't look like a Huntress."
Yet despite her discomfort, her smile never wavered as she looked down at the children below her.
"Oh? You know what a Huntress looks like?" She raised an eyebrow as the child looked her up and down.
"You look too pretty to be one."
Cheeky little brat. She smirks to herself as she hears Emerald choke a little at the compliment given to her. Maybe this kid wasn't so bad after all.
"What's your name, kid?"
"Mickey and this is my sister Minnie." Mickey answered, pulling another Mouse Faunus with a button-like nose on her face.
"Are you really a Huntress, Ms. Lady?" Minnie asked softly, almost pleadingly as her eyes largened as she looked at Cinder.
"Well, Mickey and Minnie, my name is Cinder and yes, I am a Huntress." She answers, unknowingly injecting softness in her own voice.
She freezes however when she hears snickers from behind her.
Mercury.
It was at that moment that Cinder realized how weak she must have sounded. Goosebumps ran up her arms at that and she wanted nothing more than to strangle Mercury who continued to snicker behind her.Yetshe couldn't! Not when bright-eyed young children looked at her like she was the Brothers' gift to Remnant!
Gods, how she hated it. She could literally feel herself getting sick at the sweetness these children were radiating! Blue eyes, green eyes, and for one moment, amber-colored eyes looked at her brightly with hope in their eyes.
Did she look at Rhodes like that?
Cinder Fall, Salem's most effective agent, falters for one moment as that question enters her head. She wanted to curse. She wanted to yell. Her facade almost broke as her hands tightened unknowingly.
"Ow!" Mickey gasped at her before pulling his hand back away from Cinder with a pout on his face.
Cinder only gritted her teeth silently before trying to smile as she attempted to regain her composure.
Fuck!
One of the reasons she hated being around orphanages was because of the memories they invoked in her. Those old days of waiting for a savior that would never come. Nights when she wished the Rusted Knight would come and sweep her off of her feet and carry her onto the sunset.
Instead, what she got was a cruel stepmother who wanted a slave instead of a daughter. Instead, a man who she thought would be her savior becomes an obstacle to her freedom.
Her eye twitched again at the memory of the Glass Unicorn and her hand reached up to her neck to remind her she was no longer a slave.
She looks down at both Mickey and Minnie who were now looking at her warily.
Good.
Better to show them now how the world really is if only to spare them the pain of expecting for something that was never going to come.
Kindness. Love. A hero that would take them to a loving family.
Even Jaune Arc was not worth the pain the experience was causing her.
Cinder writhed pleasurably as power coursed through her and magic bloomed from her insides.
No….Perhaps he was worth it if only to have him enhance her power once again. To be so strong as to no longer be a slave to others. She just wishes she did not have to play pretend with bright-eyed orphans just to get to interact with him.
"Forgive me." She starts, steeling herself and stretches her hand towards them. "This Huntress doesn't know her own strength yet. Don't worry though, I know how fragile you are now." The lie comes easily out of her mouth and it works because Minnie reaches a hand out to hesitantly lays it on her palm.
She smiles stonily at her but jolts out of it when a sound reverberates around them.
"Rawr! This Beowulf's going to getcha!" Jaune Arc roared dramatically as he knelt on the carpet floor while boys and girls alike squealed in fun and glee.
Glancing at her target, Cinder Fall could not fathom just how ably he was able to handle the literal children crawling all over him. He had five or six running and screaming around him but it didn't even look like he was having trouble with them while Cinder was already tired dealing with two.
Yet it looks like she has no choice but to learn how he does it firsthand because as busy as she was with her thoughts, Cinder almost stumbles as Minnie pulls her towards them.
"Come on, Miss Cinder! You need to beat the big bad Beowulf!" Minnie cried out but Cinder's eyes widened as she felt a push from behind as Mickey ran past her with a small roar towards Jaune.
Any other time, she would've regained her balance and continued on gracefully, but with Minnie still in front of her and pulling her, Cinder Fall tripped. It would've been easy to just pull her hand back but that would have hurt the child. An unfortunate outcome that she did not want happening considering how bad it would've looked to everyone there.
So in an effort to not make a fool of herself and trip over a literal child, Cinder pushes her feet up and leaps over Minnie who suddenly had stars in her eyes. To her, Cinder must've looked like a heroine leaping into action. The truth was also a lot more embarrassing than that however.
Cinder Fall crashed on top of Jaune Arc who reflexively opened his arms to receive her. His position and her momentum however meant that instead of catching her handily, Jaune Arc was pushed back into the floor.
Her own hands immediately crashed down beside his head and amber eyes met blue so close that if she leaned down a little bit, Cinder's lips would have touched his. Instead of diving in for the kill however, Cinder Fall smirked.
"I've got the Beowulf." Her breath wafted over his face as Jaune Arc's face blew up in a blush.
This! This was how they should be! With Cinder above and him below!
She gasped however when she suddenly felt herself being pulled away from him.
"ORAAA! An Ursa has joined the battle!" Nora Valkyrie roared as she threw Cinder on her ass.
Her eyes narrowed even as the children screamed in glee and mock terror around them. Instead of locking eyes with Nora Valkyrie however, she meets the green emerald eyes of Pyrrha Nikos glaring at her.
Cinder smirked.
It always felt good to win over one of these goodie two-shoes.
She'd have to thank Lisa Lavender for being here to stop Pyrrha Nikos from reacting too much. and perhaps...the children for pulling off a situation like this.
Still, there was nothing quite like gloating over a powerless enemy.
Lisa Lavender watched as Pyrrha Nikos fumed at the sight of the black-haired woman playing house with the blonde.
Interesting. Lisa smirked as she hummed loudly to get the Champion's attention.
"I wonder what the Invincible Girl is doing in an orphanage."
"The Invincible Girl is doing her job." Pyrrha turned her head flatly as Lisa raised an eyebrow at that.
Defensive but not yet combative. It wasn't such a strange reaction considering this is only a surprise interview but it was still a strange reaction for one Pyrrha Nikos.
Lisa's assessment of the young champion's interviews always had her pegged as someone who had an even temper no matter what was thrown at her. So to see her react without a smile on her face? Something definitely smells fishy here.
"Some would of course wonder if she had any personal interest in taking this kind of job." Lisa ventures out, waggling her eyebrows and letting the young woman know what direction such a thought could take.
No respectable journal would publish it of course but the tabloids would run wild with the thought of Pyrrha Nikos being interested in children. While most would be satisfied labeling it as Pyrrha just being kind and helping the unfortunates of society, one or two would go the other way and cast aspersions with whatever they can. Baby fever, secret love childs, and all those other things celebrities had the displeasure of dealing with.
Lisa grinned as Pyrrha snorted derisively at that.
"Some would also think that of Lisa Lavender who was actually here first."
Oohhh, fiery. Nothing like her usually calm, easygoing, and deflective replies.
"Well, Lisa Lavender is actually connected with this particular orphanage." Lisa shoots back happily, laughing as Pyrrha Nikos looks skeptically at her.
It was the truth. Lisa really was connected to this orphanage, just not in the way anyone else might think. This was one of the few hubs Lisa has kept up that marginally teaches some of Lady Browning's finer skills.
As for her being here the day Pyrrha Nikos visited? Luck.
It was just a stroke of luck on Lisa's part that she was in this actual orphanage to scout future recruits. Lady Browning's Academy might be gone but that was no reason for the skills Lisa learned there to not be passed on to the next generation. Hence, her efforts to foster the young unwanted children of Vale into something loyal to her while giving them a better life.
Who knew her altruistic activities would pay off and land her a scoop with a big fish such as Pyrrha Nikos.
"I do not appreciate you interrupting my work, Ms. Lavender." Pyrrha narrowed her eyes even as Lisa raised an eyebrow at that.
It was a common rule within their own little world of celebrities and journalists that to blatantly state their displeasure was a big no no and would just get the other party to push harder.
Lisa may not know what exactly that scoop is right now but judging by how intense the usually placid Pyrrha Nikos was reacting, it was something big.
It also happened to do with the blonde boy currently playing with the children. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a smile as bright as that? Lisa immediately knew who this was.
This was the boy who had stumped Roman Torchwick.
Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos' team leader, partner, and perhaps something more?
Lisa grinned at that.
Jaune stretched his arms and breathed the fresh air of Beacon as they unloaded from the bullhead. It was already late in the afternoon when they finished with the orphanage so all of them were understandably tired from the ordeal.
Not Jaune however, to him, this was just another Tuesday back at home.
"I'm glad that's over." He heard Mercury mutter tiredly and Jaune laughed as he remembered the children swarming the poor man when Nora threw him over her shoulder.
For a day of babysitting a group of children, it wasn't so bad if you looked at it that they only played with them, had lunch, and taught them how to read by trying out different stories. All in all, it was a fairly tame day but it seems he was the only one to share that view.
Even Nora and Pyrrha looked tired dealing with children for the whole day.
"How are you not even tired after that?" Mercury asked as he heard Jaune's laughter to which he shrugs.
"I have seven sisters."
"""SEVEN?!""" Cinder's whole team shouted with the black-haired woman looking at him amazedly.
There's the usual reaction.
He blushed however when Cinder simpered towards him. "My, my, you must be so virile."
Gods, she wasn't even really hiding it anymore was she?
Jaune blushed at her forwardness even as he heard Pyrrha cough loudly behind him.
Jaune would like to think he wasn't as dense as before so the moment Cinder looked at him with half-lidded eyes? Yeah, he knew what it meant.
She liked him.
A giddy thrill rushed through him at that. Usually, he never would have reacted like that but the recent conversation with Ruby hammered into him that his girlfriends really did want to give him a harem. It was still weird to think about especially when his own best friend was starting to goad him into it but just the fact that it was real practically removed any guilt he had from interacting with other women.
Of course he knew he had to talk about it with them first however. He saw how Weiss got jealous with him and Ruby after all. He didn't want anyone being hurt because of his carelessness but still, they gave him the courage to wink at Cinder.
"It's the genetics."
Was it lame, boring, weak? Maybe but it did not matter. His easy smile and eye contact with Cinder caused her to redden just a bit as she laughed softly.
Was this what his father meant? All he needed was confidence.
"Well, good genetics or not. We still need to rest." Pyrrha pushed him from behind, getting Cinder to laugh loudly as she waved at them goodbye.
Jaune waved back before flinching a bit as he felt Pyrrha pinch his side.
"Ow! What was that for?!" He grumbled as he rubbed his side while Pyrrha only pouted at him.
"You know what it is about."
Jaune's brow furrowed at that. Was Pyrrha jealous? Maybe, it was the most likely guess he could come to. Still, he wonders. Wasn't she the driving force for expanding his harem? Other than Nora of course but she was only in it so she and Ren could have their room to themselves.
Regardless, Jaune thought Pyrrha would be the last person to be jealous considering for all intents and purposes, she should have been jealous with Blake and Weiss and yet here they were. In a strange hedonistic relationship that was the dream of many many men and one Jaune was living.
His eyes widened however when once he saw their dorm room, instead of being able to unlock it, he suddenly felt Pyrrha push him into Team RWBY's room.
"What?" He mutters as the door opens behind him and in he goes.
He meets Ren's own equally surprised look as his brother from another mother gets pushed by Nora into their own room. In a moment of brotherly bond where words were no longer needed, both boys nodded at each other.
They were both going to get laid.
Nice.
Good luck.
Conversations of approval and blessings upon one another passed through both of them before the doors closed between them.
"P-Pyrrha wait!" He shouted as he struggled to regain his balance.
Instead of waiting however, Pyrrha pushes him down straight on top of Blake's bed.
"No. No more waiting." She muttered gravely as her emerald eyes pinned him onto the bed.
"H-How did you even manage to get the room open?!"
"Semblance, and don't worry. I already have Blake's permission." She whispered while she mounted him even as his eyes widened at her words.
"Since when?!"
"Since this morning. Now enough talk, it's time for you to learn your lesson." She answers, pursing her lips as she rips his armor off of him.
"W-What lesson?!" He squeeked as his hands found themselves gripping her thighs under her combat skirt.
"I-Jaune! Do you really not know?!" She gasped before looking at him with a little bit of hurt in her eyes.
Jaune inhaled sharply at that before whispering. "Is this about Cinder? Are you jealous?"
"Of course it's about Cinder!" She shouted even as he tilted his head confusedly.
"But Pyrrha, I thought you wanted to build me a harem."
He was so confused.
She stammered at that. "I-I do! But not her! Anyone but her, Jaune!"
He frowned at that, pulling her down to cuddle with him. "Why? What is it, Pyr? What is wrong with Cinder in particular?"
He wanted to give Cinder the benefit of the doubt but to have his partner react like this? Something was definitely strange. Pyrrha was one of the most loving, kind, and caring people he knows!
"I….It's because of how she looks at me, Jaune." She mumbles softly even as Jaune blinks at that.
"What?"
Did Cinder look at Pyrrha in any particular way? He tries to remember and only thinks of the moment Cinder looked at her unimpressed outside the orphanage. He cringed at that. It was not one of Pyrrha's best moments when she called Cinder out in her status as an orphan.
Other than that however, he only remembers Cinder trying to play with the children, albeit awkwardly, while flirting with him and yes, he now knew what flirting was thank you very much. Jaune was no longer a dense boy.
"How does she look at you?"
Her hands gripped the sides of his hoodie even as Jaune felt Pyrrha breathed deeply on top of him.
"It's like she enjoys gloating over me every chance she gets!"
Jaune will admit, he did not notice anything like that but heck, what did he know? He wasn't as aware as he apparently thought. Hello Jaune Arc, a very dense boy once again.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know. I never even noticed."
Pyrrha breathed deeply once again at that before lifting her head to look down back at him.
"Do you like her, Jaune?" She asks but Jaune could only shrug at that.
"I mean, I knew she was flirting with me but I don't really hate or like her. Maybe just a bit weirded out?"
"You noticed she was flirting?!" Pyrrha looked at him with wide eyes and Jaune couldn't help but have his eyes twitch at the incredulousness in her voice.
"Pyr, give me some credit. I may be dense but I'm not that dense. She was literally giving me bedroom eyes. With how many times you and Blake have aimed that at me I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like now." He replied flatly, getting his girlfriend to flush lightly on top of him.
"Oh."
"Oh, indeed." He sighs deeply before sliding his hands upward onto her hips. She gasped as her grip tightened and Jaune was struck by a sudden idea with how they were arranged right now. "You have nothing to be jealous of, Pyr, you are wonderful."
"J-Jaune." She giggled lightly as his hands slid under her corset and onto her bare skin. Smooth skin and firm hands met his palms and Jaune took her moment of surprise as his chance to flip them over.
Pyrrha squeeked as she suddenly found herself under him. He wasn't done however because Jaune captures her lips in a searing hot kiss. Moans sounded out from beneath them as Pyrrha pulled him closer insistently. Their bodies molded against each other despite the armor Pyrrha still wore and with him still in his hoodie.
Tongues intertwined, hands roamed, and their hips grinded against each other despite the clothing separating them.
They separate with a quick smack with only a trail of saliva connecting them. He smirked as he saw Pyrrha's pleased eyes looking brightly up at him.
She was beautiful.
With her fiery red hair pinned by her tiara and her emerald green eyes looking at him with so much love, Jaune could only react one way.
"I love you." He whispers lovingly as she gasps back at him.
"I love you too."
"I know." He smiles as he crawls downward. Pulling his hoodie upward to bare his torso as he reaches just below her belly-button.
"Jaune?" She asks wonderingly but Jaune only smirks before kissing her bare skin.
She squeals wonderfully but Jaune gave no quarter. He peppered her with kisses slowly getting lower and lower as he rubbed his hands up and down her legs.
Damn, was his girlfriend hot or what?!
Eventually, he reaches her combat skirt and dives his head under it.
She shyly puts her hands in his hair to stop him but Jaune only looks at her while holding her wrists.
"Let me, Pyrrha. Let me do this for you and show you why you have nothing to be jealous of." He said with half-lidded eyes, getting her to nod hesitantly before spreading her legs.
"Beautiful." He smiled at that.
He pulled her exercise shorts off of her before he managed to see the black underwear she was sporting.
"So mature." He whispers teasingly, getting her to cover her face as she squirmed embarrassedly.
"Jaune~"
He only laughed at that before diving down to sniff the lacy fabric before pulling it sideways with his fingers.
Finally, he reaches his goal. Her lower lips puffed up beautifully as her slit emanated a slick heat off of it. Diving down and not letting himself hesitate, he gives it one long lick.
The effect was immediate. Pyrrha moaned as she lifted her hips up. He grinned. It was the first time doing it and Pyrrha was already reacting like this. Imagine when he gets in a lot of practice. He laughed into her muff at that, making her shiver and shake in pleasure.
Sticking his tongue in, he tastes her wet salty flavor as her moans get louder.
"More, Jaune! Moree~" She begged him and who was he to deny her?
Jaune Arc eats out Pyrrha Nikos.
In fact, he does more than just eat her out.
His fingers did not remain idle for long. They were previously gripping her creamy toned thighs apart but now, Jaune had the sudden idea to push one finger inside her while his tongue rubbed over the knob he was feeling.
It pushed Pyrrha over the edge. She screamed loudly as his finger reached deep inside her and hooked itself upwards. Her body undulated, twisted, writhed, and tightened so suddenly that Jaune suddenly found himself getting gripped by her times as she kept her hold on his hair.
Jaune himself screamed as he felt himself unable to breathe. The scream however just pushes Pyrrha even more as the vibrations and his hot breath travels to her womanhood. He pulled his finger out of her and tried to pry himself out of the sudden predicament he found himself in but Jaune only felt wetness splash on his face, making it hard to breathe and his vision start to darken.
Damn, he might actually die here. Thinking about it however, it wasn't such a bad way to go. Crushed by his lover's thighs as she pulled his head deeper into her crotch? There were no better deaths done this.
Two words however will reverberate inside his mind as he begins to lose consciousness.
Mission Accomplished.
Why? For one particular reason.
"I'm cumming!" Pyrrha Nikos screamed out as Jaune Arc went out the way of the warrior.
"I'm cumming!" Perry groaned as he emptied himself inside Deery below him.
"M-More! MORE! MOREEE!"
His eyes widened however as Deery shouted and grabbed his hips to pull them closer together. In an effort not to disappoint his partner, Perry bucks his hips a few more times even as his member spurts out his life-giving seed.
His effort pays off and Deery screeches in his ear before he silences her with a kiss on the mouth. They groan against each other as their bodies writhe and tightened.
"T-Tired already?" Deery laughed below him as Perry rolled himself off of her with a groan.
"Give me a break, I was training with Adam."
He always ended up being sore after a bout of training with the man but he now knew just how Adam became so powerful. The man had discipline in spades. He trained himself to his limits and continuously tried to push past them while still taking care of his own body.
Perry never really stood a chance against him and he always ended up with bruises.
Deery, the traitor, only laughed at his suffering before slowly falling silent. "You shouldn't push yourself too hard, Perry."
He shakes his head at that.
"I can't, Dear." The nickname slips out of his tongue easily even as he remembers their fallen comrades. "For our brothers and sisters in arms, I can't."
Deery sighed as he suddenly grave tone before smiling softly and supportively at him.
"Alright, just remember. You are not alone with the fallen. I am here too. Alive."
It hasn't been long since he and Deery found themselves in each other's arms. In fact, it was surprising that it only happened now considering survivors of decimated squads such as theirs frequently got together for grief and comfort.
"Soft and warm too." He smiled back as his hand found her ample chest.
"Pervert." She rolled her eyes but she did not remove his hand on her.
"You like it." He grinned, leaning towards her slowly as he looked at the brightness in her eyes.
"I do." She whispers heatedly but before they could start another round however, the walls shook and Perry heard commotion outside their doors.
One sentence struck both of them there.
"Huntress in the tunnels!"
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This is not the last we will see Cinder as of yet but Pyrrha is currently laying down the law and Jaune is acquiescing to apologize.
P.S. To die by thigh is the way of the warrior.
