Hello everyone. How are you all doing? Me? I've been through the works. But enough of that, we don't need to talk about my life; we need to start the story, so now you all enjoy it :3

I do not own Rwby, Zef, or Blue. Rwby is owned by their respected company, Zef, and Blue Ocs is owned by some great friends. Scissor owns Zef and TenTic owns Blue.

Chapter 2

It has been a week since the crew arrived in Atlus, and true to Holo's word, everyone has lost their memories. For the past few days, everyone Was adjusting to losing their memories differently. Ashley and Holo were able to shrug off losing her memories quickly; Zef, on the other hand, has a mixed bag where most of the time, he has been happy, but secretly, he's been feeling guilty over something he can't remember. In contrast, Blue has been distracted because he can't remember Anything. It has been bugging him since it started, and any help from Holo would cause him to lose more of his memories permanently. Thanks to Holo, she was able to make a copy of Ashley's blueprints safely, but unfortunately, due to the storage limitations of Altus tech, they could only save a few memories. But by that time, all the memories were gone, and there was nothing else they could do. Thanks to the hard work of everyone, the Auto doc was completed in record time. The only problem is that the mechanical organs haven't been made yet. So the Auto doc could only do a check-up for now. Unfortunately, Ashley could only make the organs herself, so Zef and Blue could only wait. Luckily, Ironwood has allowed them to walk around the school as Ashley works. Now the two of them are in the cafeteria, trying to eat their lunch.

"Hey, Zef."

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever wonder what happened to the moon here?" Blue asked him as he bit into his tuna sandwich.

"All the time. My best guess is that something magic happened long ago, and it caused it to be stuck like that. I mean, there has to be something keeping those pieces in, and we know dust doesn't work, so it has to be something. Tho, I bet if you ask Ashley that, she would say something about an asteroid and magnets." Zef said before biting into an apple as he looked down at him.

"Zef magnets wouldn't work. Either the pull will be too strong, and it will fix the moon, or it will push the pieces away onto the planet or into the vacuum of space. You need another magnet for something like that to work also, I'm not an expert in the area, but I don't think strong magnets like that can be made naturally in space." Blue said to him, only to cringe as a student threw a soda at him making him sigh while Zef turned around to look at him. "Let it go, Zef."

"Blue, you can't expect me to stand by and let them do this to you. Hell, I'm pretty sure Ashley would agree with me and help me." Zef said before sitting back down and shaking his head as he finished his food. Before long, another piece of food hit the two in the head, making Zef growl before he grabbed his tray and threw it at the guy making his aura crack before he fell onto his back with a groan. "Now then... If anyone else wants a piece of him, stand in line because I will ensure you know how to treat a jackass like him."

Before long, a large student ran over and helped his friend up and back onto the table before turning to Zef. "Hey, what was that for? He was showing that freak what for."

"Oh, I see. So you're just the strong idiot of the group." Zef said bluntly, trying to get him to swing first.

"Hey, you take that back." the student said, getting angry as he slowly walked to Zef.

"Fine, you're not strong," Zef said with a smile as the big guy stopped.

"That's better." He said while Blue turned to look at Zef.

"Doesn't he-" "Give him a second," Zef said after interrupting Blue before it finally clicked for the big guy.

"Oh, that's it!" He said as he ran over to the two before punching them down, breaking the table without breaking a sweat, Zef quickly jumped away while Blue ran away to get Ashley as one of his teammates ran after Blue.

"Just hold still," Zef said as he did that and let him run over and try to hit him. Only for Zef to quickly redirect his fist with both hands; it missed his head by half an inch before he quickly punched his throat, making the big guy fall and hold his throat while coughing heavily. Zef started to walk away, not noticing him slowly get back up as he saw a female student kicking Blue while he was down, causing him to run over before the big guy could hit him, making him miss and punch another table, breaking it. Zef quickly grabbed a few plastic knives. Faster than most people can react, he threw the knives at the female student, distracting her as one hit her eye, making her yell out in pain before Zef kicked her away from Blue and helped him up.

"Okay, that was the leader, the strong but dumb one, the pretty one; now, where's the one with the weird powers?" Zef thought while looking around, expecting them to come out of nowhere and jump him. Luckily for Zef, the final team member tried to sneak up with her emerald green Aura, sparking up and taking shape into a cluster of tendrils on her hand. She smirked as she started to wind up her attack before she thrust her arms forward. He notices the attack, but it is too late for him to dodge the attack, so he quickly pushes blue out of the way as the tendrils wrap around him before some come out and grab a few random things like a table, a tray, some food, along with a soda machine before the student pulled her arms back pulling other objects onto Zef crushing him. She smirks, thinking she's won, only for Zef to slowly push it off him. He was bleeding from the head as some glass was sticking out of his arm. He turned to look at the team as they stared at him in shock. He pulled the glass shards out of his arm without reacting to the pain while they all looked at each other. They all notice he doesn't have his aura unlocked, so they are now worried about what Ironwood will do to them when he finds out about the fight. Unfortunately for them, Ironwood entered the cafeteria to see it destroyed while Ashley followed behind him with her frying pan.

"Did I miss the fight? Damm, it. It looked fun." Ashley said while pouting before Ironwood made her stand back and glare at them.

"Everyone in my office now." He said Zef, Ashley, Blue, and the students that attacked the two boys at the start followed him to his office.

"I can not believe you four would do this to a couple of aura-less civilians. Not only that, but also the racial discrimination and the fact you destroyed Altus academy property. You were only lucky that both Mr. Spletzer and Mr. Hasake only came out with just a few bruises and cuts. It is nothing serious, but enough to suspend you for a few months. But luckily for you, four Miss Rose has some new tech planned and has a deal for you. Once she makes what she calls Shields ready, she will be looking to test them, so she had her assistant Holo tell me about this before you started to fight." General Ironwood said as he sat across from the four students as they kept their heads down. "So if you beat them with their Shields and whatever else they have in store, they will drop the charges. You all have a month to decide, you all understand?"

The four students looked at each other before nodding at each other without saying a word. "Yes, sir. We understand, and we agree to her terms as well. We will face her when we come back," the leader said while staring at the general. Before long, they left the room, and Ashley, Zef, and Blue walked in. Blue was holding his arm while looking a bit bruised up from the fight; Zef had his cuts covered with bandages, while Ashley was holding said bandages.

"Okay, Zef is all bandaged and stitched up. Blue only has some bruises. And I'm bored and annoyed that I missed the fight." Ashley said with a groan as she sat down with her friends.

"Enough. Now I review the footage and get their side of the story. I also already know your side of the story from Miss Holo. Luckily they caused the whole thing, so you are exempt from any punishment. Ashley, they agreed with your terms and are willing to fight." Ironwood said as he stood up from his desk and looked at them.

"Really? I expected them to agree after a week or so. Well, Zef, Blue, we got work to do." Ashley said with a smile as she went to get up.

"Hold on. Unfortunately, I do not believe you three will be able to make these shields along with any armor and the organs you need to make. So I asked a colleague of mine to come and help you." Ironwood said as he pressed a button on his desk; everyone turned around to look at the door. "Alright. Bring him in now. Everyone, I would like for you to meet Dr. Pietro Polendina." He said an older man with dark skin and short, balding white hair came in. He was wearing a cream-yellow dress shirt along with a red vest over it, a pink bow tie, dark mustard brown dress pants, a green cap, oval-shaped glasses, green leather shoes, and a red-brown belt. What caught everyone's eye was the chair he was sitting on as he walked into the room.

"... Cool chair," Ashley said with a smile as she got up and walked up to him before holding her hand out to shake. "I'm Ashley; the short one is Blue, and the tall and brooding one is Zef. And the one you probably can't see or hear is Holo. Just pull out your scroll if you want to talk to her."

"Oh, no worries about that. I've met her before. She was helping me with a personal project of mine." He said with a smile as he pulled out what looked like futuristic glasses that only covered one eye. When he put it on, he turned to look at Holo with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Doctor. Tell me how Penny is doing with her training." Holo asked, to the shock of everyone but Polendina.

"Wait, what? How did you two even meet each other? When did you even do it? How did you leave my Ai chip and go to him?" Ashley said while sounding surprised while smiling as Holo explained that after getting Ashley to sleep, she went to explore the CCT, and after an hour of digging, she found Penny all alone, so she decided to keep her company. After Ashley woke up, Holo had to leave before telling Penny she would help her and upgrade her so she could follow her around before Polendina came in and found the two.

"Let me guess; she is a smart AI, right?" Ashley asked her while Holo slowly walked over to her.

"Incorrect... All tho she is very close to being a very smart fragment AI."Holo said as she looked around the room to see everyone's reaction. "No offense, doctor, I'm not calling Penny dumb it's just more accurate to say her software isn't as strong as mine. But with a little help, she can be stronger. I was actually about as strong as her when I was first made... I think." Holo said before putting a hand on her head.

"I'm sorry. Can you explain what you mean by that Holo?" Polendina asked, looking at her confused before Ashley spoke up.

"Well... How do you explain this?" Ashley said softly before Blue walked up and explained it.

"AI can be put in one of three categories. First are dumb AIs; they are you for simple stuff. Some of the strongest can be simple soldiers like the ak-130s I've seen. Meanwhile, a fragment could mimic an actual human. While the process of getting one is... Less than humane. They are usually the best to give soldiers due to their ability to calculate on the fly, use some equipment that sometimes can't be used by humans, and the fact they can't possess people most of the time. Smart AIs like Holo can do what fragments can do but better. I've believed that Ashley once told me that having one could make you unstoppable..."

"Ummm yeah... How do you even know that, Blue?" Zef asked while sounding worried about his friend.

"I don't know... It felt like it was drilled into me. Like trying to learn gun safety. Just hammered it into me."

"Hmm, maybe the memory loss isn't permanent and is wearing off... Either that or some things just can't be forgotten. You were fighting well back in the cafeteria, so maybe we can regain our memories." Ashley said as she looked at him while humming softly

"Let's get back on track and leave it there for now. Doctor, do you think you can help them with their situation?" Ironwood said while rubbing his temples to relieve the stress from everything that happened today

"Yes, I do believe that I can help them. Maybe this can help me with another project as well." He said with a soft smile.

"Well, with the organs, she can appear more human, and I can add some upgrades to her to help her survivability. It mostly depends on what I can put in and what you planned for her to have." Ashley said as she turned to look at the doctor. "Honestly, even just the organs would be enough of an upgrade. I've seen the newest Ak... I'm a bit disappointed."

"Well then. Miss Rose, what do you say about me helping you with your projects?" Doctor Polendina said with a smile.

"Sure, I would enjoy the help, and I want to meet Penny as well," Ashley said with a smile.

Outside of Beacon Academy, Zef was standing by the Bullhead docks while Ashley was standing by him, just trying to get more information on where he was going.

"Come on. You can tell me where you're going. Or at least tell me you know what to do if Blake takes you to a motel." Ashley said with a smile before Zef groaned while pushing her away, making Ashley yell out as she flew offscreen. While he was distracted, Blake walked up to him.

"Hey, Zef... How are you doing?" Blake asked him while looking shy as Zef quickly turned around and smiled.

"Oh hey, Blake. Are you ready to go and head to the new bookstore?" Zef said while looking just as shy as her as they boarded a large Bullhead while keeping an eye out for their Teammates/friends. Meanwhile, said friends and teammates were hiding behind a shed while Ashley slowly walked up, looking dizzy before falling over next to them.

"Come on now, our chance," Ruby said with a smile as she grabbed Ashley by her ear before dragging her to the bullhead next to them so the couple wouldn't see them as Nora carried disguises for everyone.

The screen changed to a white background with a red heart in the center of it while Blake and Zef fell and looked around for any danger. Once they realize there aren't any, Zef grabs Blake by the hip before pulling her close and taking her off-screen with a smile as the background changes to show the two inside a bookstore sitting down and reading together.

"What are they doing?" Yang asked, dressed up like a cowboy while sitting at a cafe after ordering a sandwich.

"They're just sitting. Reading that Ninja of Love book." Ruby said while looking through a pair of binoculars while dressed up like an army woman as she hid in a bush to avoid being seen.

"Why did we need the disguises? Actually, why aren't we all dressed like Ren? It would be better to hide in the alley while dressed like a ninja." Ashley asked while dressed up like a red power ranger. Out in the open next to Yang.

"Because the costume shop only had the one beside, they will never know it's us," Nora said with a smile as she was dressed up like she was going to disarm a bomb.

"I'm pretty sure they can tell it's us," Blue said while dressed up like a robot that a child drew. Meanwhile, Blake and Zef would read their books during the talks.

"So, is Ruby still in the bushes?" Blake asked while focusing on her book.

"Yep. Weiss is dressed up like an angel, Jaune is a scientist, Pyrrha is a businesswoman, and for some reason, Ashley is a power ranger." Zef said as he turned the page.

"Wait, what's a power ranger?" She said as Zef looked up from his book.

"How do you... Nevermind. Do you want to mess with them?" Zef said with a soft smile as he pulled out a throwaway phone.

"Hmmm, I'm listening."

"Guys, they're moving," Ruby said as everyone quickly walked over to see the two left with their books. "Come on; we need to follow them."

Everyone tried to sneak around and follow the two, with only a few succeeding. Luckily for them, Zef and Blake made sure to have them follow before walking into a motel. Everyone sneaks up to the door before Jaune and Ashley put their ears to the door.

"Aww, why can't I try and listen?" Ruby asked while Blue stood back.

"Because if I do, Ruby, your sister might kill me," Jaune said while turning to her before Ashley covered his mouth.

"Oh, I can hear why," Ashley said with a smile and a soft blush as Jaune started to blush heavily, turning his face red. "Oh my... They are loud. Do you think she tied him up?"

"Ashley!" Everyone but Ruby, Jaune, and Blue said while blushing as they stared at her Holo appeared next to Ashley, looking normal.

"Ashley... You should know that-" Shh, I think it's-" Holo said with a soft sigh, only for Ashley to interrupt her... Only for Yang to cover her mouth to stop her.

"Ashley... I love you... But please stop." Yang said while her eyes turned red; Wiess covered Ruby's ears while Ruby covered Blue's.

"Fine... I'm sorry, Yang." Ashley said while pouting before Holo spoke up again.

"Ashley... Zef and Blake are not in the room together."

"Wait, what!" Everyone said as Ashlsy opened the door to see it was just a throwaway scroll opened up to a porno video.

"Wait, where are they now?!?" Ashley said as she looked around, only to see an open window to the back of the room.

-Meanwhile... In a bookstore on the other side of Vale.-

"So... You think that we lost them?" Blake asked with a soft smile as she sat on his lap while reading with him.

"Nope... Holo has a tracking chip in me... Tho that should have bought us an hour or two.."
